An interesting ask indeed
If I had to pick five people in no particular order, I would have to go with...
Kalim Al-Asim
It's no secret that this guy gets along with almost anybody, and someone who's his opposite is no different (*cough*Jamil*cough)
I feel like someone who is the workaholic and serious type would be a good fit for Kalim (I cannot guarantee that you'll agree at first), as you can keep him focused on his own duties (boi's scatterbrained as hell)
Kalim is one of the few genuinely kind people in all of Night Raven College, even if he can come off a little strong. If you are skeptical or cynical, I think Kalim would be the breath of fresh air you need if you give him a chance
He can also be a bit unaware of his surroundings and the atmosphere, so you might need to tell him to reign in his enthusiasm a bit
Likewise, Kalim would tell his uptight friend (or romantic partner) that it is okay to let loose and have a little bit of fun sometimes. If you don't exactly know how to do that he'll be more than happy to help
Malleus Draconia
Malleus grew up pretty sheltered for most of his life so I feel like a cheerful and extraverted type of person would be a great change of pace for him
Malleus has lived his life being feared by almost everyone who's even his heard name, so someone who would treat him as a normal person would be a tad overwhelming for him. Even more so if you know who he actually is and treats him like that regardless
I feel like the friendship (or romance) between you two would be like the duality of cinnamon roll: Malleus is the cinnamon roll who looks like he could kill you, meanwhile, you would look like a cinnamon roll (or be one) but can kill a mf. That or you could actually be a cinnamon roll
I headcanon that Malleus is autistic, and it is canon that he has a special interest in gargoyles, so I think he would get along with someone who would listen to him ramble about them
This goes both ways. If you have a special interest (or a hyperfixation) he will listen to you ramble about it for hours
Riddle Rosehearts
Riddle is the definition of gifted kid burnout syndrome, and I think someone more laid back or outgoing would be something he'd appreciate in one way or another
Riddle would appreciate someone who is easygoing and easy to interact with since he's not very good at socializing (being strictly bound by rules does that to a mf)
If you happen to be a rule breaker (within reasonable bounds of course) he will be a bit surprised the first time you do it. If it is something minor like wearing the wrong colour socks or something, he'll try to overlook it, but for more serious offences, he will tell you off
And if his rule lawyering gets too out of hand, you will have to call him out on it
Ace Trappola
This little shit has absolutely no filter and will say what is on his mind, so I think someone more diplomatic would be a good counterbalance for him
I also feel like Ace holds a sort of fascination with more reserved people (he can deny it all he wants and say that they're boring as hell, but I don't believe him), so I think he would be the type of person to get them out of their shell.
I think this is especially true when it comes to voicing your opinions (many of which are either objectively correct or good things can come from at least speaking them)
I also like to think that their opposite can see right through his shit and calls him out for it. Their opposite is honest and has a built-in bullshit detector, and he cannot get anything past them
He does of course come to appreciate them for everything you
Leona Kingscholar
This cynic of a housewarden will not like you at first. You are everything he isn't: cheerful, friendly, in tune with the needs of others, and dare he say it? a little too naive and gung ho?
He can say that he doesn't need you to help him with his mental health, but we all know that's untrue (just watch, he's gonna give in if you're patient with him and give him space)
Your bright personality is what draws so many people to them, so he becomes jealous
Over time he would often come and kidnap you to either practice spelldrive or to take naps with him. He can say that he did it out of boredom all he wants, but it's just not true
Congratulations! You now have a friend (or romantic partner) in Leona

A soft sigh escapes Kalim’s lips, warm ruby eyes looking up at you as if you had hung all the stars in the sky. He was quiet, something that would have surprised anyone, but you knew that despite his loud and warm demeanour, Kalim had a calmer side, still warm but in the sense of the warmth of a comforting blanket instead of the sometimes harsh brightness of the sun.
You hummed, pausing your hands in his hair, looking back at him with a silent question.
He brought your hands down from his hair down to his lips and placed a gentle kiss on your knuckles, paying each joint of each finger mind before placing a kiss on the inside of your wrist and nuzzling into it.
“What was that for,” you hummed, a flustered yet giddy smile on your face. Even if you wanted to hide it, it was nearly impossible. Plus this was Kalim; why would you hide your happiness from him?
Kalim smiled widely at you, still holding your one hand. “Because you deserve good things!”
You deserve good things! Such a simple statement yet it held more weight than its simplicity.
Good things.
Kalim nearly drowned you in good things. One may think he gifted you gold and more valuables than humanly possible, and while that was true at the beginning, he had eased up.
And while he does still give you a miniature stroke every now and then by gifting you something that you honestly don’t want to even think about the price of, the ‘good things’ had changed as he got to know you. As you got more comfortable around him. As the lines between friendship and romance blurred until you found yourself clutching onto his cardigan as you melted into one of his warm embraces during a particularly rough day.
He didn’t push for answers, he didn’t push for anything. He was authentic with you from the first day you met him, and you, in turn, became authentic with him.
He never judged you. Never pushed you to go outside your comfort zone. And he stuck back with you where others may have walked on ahead.
You brought up his hands to your lips now and paid the same mind he did to your hands. “You deserve good things too,” you sighed in contentment. “I may not have-”
Kalim stopped you gently by getting his head off your lap and placing a kiss on your forehead. “You’re the best thing that has ever happened to me. That’s enough… you are enough.”
You looked at him, and his bright eyes looked at you with the warmth of the sun.
Cupping his face between your hands gently, you placed a kiss on his forehead too, lingering there. “Thank you, Kalim… for everything.”
“You don’t have to thank me,” and he placed a chaste kiss on the corner of your mouth. Soft, yet it felt like the sun gently warming your skin.

Christoph has been counting down the days to this day, almost losing a lot of sleep in the process for the past week
You told him that you put aside some money for him to go to a build-a-bear on the weekend and get some ice cream, and wow was he excited
Lance was also having a bout of cabin fever for the past few days, and he would not object to a little outing with his paramour and his surrogate child
When the day came Christoph was practically skipping to the Build-A-Bear
You told him he can choose whatever design he likes so he went for a bunny design
The sheer joy in Christoph's eyes nearly made you forget all the things he went through
Growing up as fast as he did cannot have been easy, so seeing him just being a kid just fills you with immeasurable joy. It's enough to make you tear up a little
A quick glance in Lance's direction told you he seemed to be thinking the same thing
Lance cannot thank you enough for making the time to do this
Once Christoph had his plushie finished, he came back to you, looking quite pleased with the result. So you go to the nearest ice cream shop afterwards
There were too many flavours to choose from, so Chris asks for your opinion
You choose one you think he'd like and instantly falls in love
You and Lance each chose your flavours and sat down at a table
As you watched Chris happily eat his ice cream and talked with him and Lance, you thought to yourself how wonderful life could be

You have just about HAD IT with Guy and his utter nonsense. You've told him multiple times that you weren't interested in him or in wearing dresses. You've told him you weren't comfortable wearing dresses and you rejected his many, ah, advances but he still tries to win you over. When Guy bought you yet another dress and expected you to attend the upcoming ball with him, that was the last straw. You asked your friend Fenn to get a bottle of wine, but not just any old wine. You wanted only the best wine in all of Saligia. So he gets you the finest wine from Luxure. He understood where you were coming from. If you were this irritated, alcohol would do just the trick.
Or does he? He came back to the S-Ranks lounge where you did not really hide a smirk and Guy ordered Jasper to fetch Avari's finest alcoholic drink: Avarian Ale, "far stronger than the drek Luxure calls wine."
None of the men in the lounge saw what you were going to do next. You poured the contents of both bottles onto the dress Guy got you (was that with you the whole time?) and then got a lighter (where did you get that?) and lit the dress on fire

How could you just burn a dress made by Avari's finest tailor?
And revel in this while keeping eye contact with him no less??
Guy was the first to put out the flames once he regained his composure
All that was left was but a small charred patch of the dress
"Bah"
He gets the message. If you were willing to commit arson over this he's not gonna get you dresses

You had him fetch wine for this?
He cannot say he dislikes this display, but did you really have to pour his wine all over a dress to set it on fire? He was hoping to share it with his friends
Oh well. At least he got to see some chaos today

Toa is glad you rejected his advances but was nearly setting the lounge on fire really necessary?
He understood your discomfort with wearing traditionally feminine clothes and as far as he knew, you told him and the others as much, so you had to put your foot down
He supposes simply saying no would not have sufficed, but setting the dress on fire? Really?
He has mixed feelings about this

He is utterly speechless
Maybe he should have talked Guy out of getting you a dress
But then again he doubts he would have listened
Lynt
"Why is it so hot all of a sudden?"
Lynt was asleep and the sudden heat spike woke him up
Fenn filled him in on what happened and Lynt was not happy with what Guy did. He was not happy with you either
Lynt hates discord and would really rather not argue but this has gone too far
He scolds Guy for making you so uncomfortable and he scolds you for nearly setting the room ablaze
If this wasn't enough an incentive to make sure that this doesn't happen again, Guy would be a unicorn's uncle

Fenn with an S/O that is just a flirtatious as he is, BUT he can’t lie to her as she literally sees through all his lies? And maybe they terrorize the other princes because they’re the most chaotic couple in the magic realm hehe

You know that song "I Am a Girl Like You" from Barbie in The Princess and the Pauper? That's basically your dynamic
Fenn loves it when you flirt with him (low-key, he kinda wants that. I dare you to tell me he doesn't want the tables turned on him)
Fenn will absolutely love to flirt back and will love it when the flirting gets aggressive (in a wholesome way ofc)
Not everyone will vibe with this, but the two of you love to be menaces to society (again, in a wholesome way)
One thing he wasn't expecting was that you were basically a sentient lie detector
Every time he lies you pull up and say "C-A-P. CAP"
"Cap?"
"That simply means that I smell a lie. I can also smell half-truths"
As much as this surprises him, he can't help but appreciate your in-built lie detector
If there is anything he likes, he likes surprises
And lemme tell you, this is a pleasant surprise for all of his friends too
