Jason likes to cook.
Unfortunately, his new powers have something to say about that.
It started with turning intangible. Small things, really.
Randomly floating a few inches off the ground. Phasing a gun through his hand on patrol. Eyes glowing radioactive green.
Things he wouldn't bother bringing up to Bruce, Dick, or anyone else. They were small, he could handle them. Fuck it, with all the shit he came into contact with, getting powers wasn't a matter of 'maybe', it was a matter of 'when'.
But the most recent development.
His food...comes to life. He just got into a war with the leftovers, and they actually gave him stitches.
He has mild concerns that this means he could start the zombie apocalypse, but more immediate concerns that he'll have to eat takeout for the rest of his life.

Does Flowey exist in this au?
Yes, he does.
Everything's pretty much the same when it comes to the regular story in this AU. It's just the past, especifically Papyrus' past (wich we don't know much about to begin with) that changes
Actually Flowey is one of the main characters in the story! (the main story of this au is divided between the past before the game and a post-pacifist timeline:D)
He and Papyrus will have a fun dynamic
-some thought I had in tags behind the keep reading
Srry for the spelling mistakes in here but I can't go and fix tags because I would end up erasing everything😭tumblr struggles

I love your take on Crowley!
I know that the early, non-Diasomnia stories aren't really your thing, but are you reading the novels at all?
I have been following some of the fan translations and the second book seems intense! Would love to hear what you think about them.
thank you! 💚💚💚 I'm not really sure why you think I don't like the earlier arcs though, I love pretty much all the characters and their storis! (I think 5 and 1 are my favorite of the past episodes, though 6 infected me with the Shroud brainrot something fierce.) I just...ESPECIALLY love diasomnia. :') but there is room in my heart for all of these dweebs! like, who among us is not just as ride-or-die for Adeuce as they are for us.
that said, I don't really follow the other adaptations like the manga (aside from a dip-in just to see the new Yuus) or the novels, though I keep meaning to check them out! I do like seeing the differences between the different forms of media, and how certain things get adapted one way or another! but alas, time/a lack of accessibility stands in our way more often than not. :( someday...someday I will have time to consume all of the media...

mean absolutely zero hate by this at all but talking to non book fans casually about certain details of the book is literally the funniest shit ever like yall are so sweet you dont know anything. yes aziraphale gets called a faggot in the book. by an eleven year old girl. and yes crowley revives the dove at the birthday party not aziraphale. and book fans got so mad about this change that they initially boycotted the show when it came out in 2019. dont worry I dont get it either. please continue to be confused about all this it makes my day every time I see someone in my tags be outraged they put homophobic slurs in a book written in 1989 <3

Whenever I read anything in comics or in fanfic about "we can't kill the Joker because that would be doing what he wants, we have to let the law take care of him" I just. giggle.
He's shown multiple times premeditation, which indicates he does, in fact, understand the consequences of his actions. By law, he is mentally fit enough to stand trial.
By law, he would more than likely be sentenced to death, many many times over, after being branded a terrorist. He wouldn't even be housed in New Jersey, he'd be sent to someplace like Guantanamo Bay, ultra secure max prison. His execution would be sped up due to flight risk. It would happen out of sight and out of mind, in a glass box so that weird chest bomb of Joker Gas doesn't affect anyone, and then incinerated.
This is comicbookland, so that doesn't happen, but like, if this was the direction Joker's court cases were supposed to go, and it was an assistance program run by Wayne Enterprises that kept stepping in and using legal fuckery to get Joker to Arkham instead of standing trial?
All it would take is just. One little sign off from Barbara. One little tweak.
Joker isn't eligible for that outreach program anymore.

Care to tell more about that evil gameshow host and the player?
yes eeeehhehe have this drawing i made of them
the host has the personality of a goofy villain but his crimes consist of kidnapping people, forcing them to play his games, and killing them if they lose
the host would probably rig the games of his crush to make him win no matter what, how romantic!! (even though hes still putting him through hell. oh well)
unimportant detail but they also have a height difference, everytime the host talks to the player he bends over or lowers himself to his eye-level and makes him feel very patronized like u do not have to do all of that
