Watched a lot of DSMP animatics today so its on my mind. Well, got thinking about c!Technoblade after watching Casserole’s “Under the Surface” c!Tubbo animatic.
What if, depending on how you view him he looks different? There’s his line of people only viewing him as The Blade, a weapon. And like, what if when you view him as a weapon, or just a warrior, or just someone to use, he’s this giant hulking piglin; pig head and all. He also looks this way when you’re afraid of him, too, etc.
But when you see him as a friend, or even just simply like a person, he’s more human? Still has piglin features (i’m working off my headcanon/preference of him being a hybrid) He’s still got tusks, he’s still huge and beefy, cause well. He IS a warrior. But that’s not all he is. When you view him as a person, you start seeing all the other parts, too. He’s a farmer, he’s a bookworm, a giant greek mytho nerd, etc.
Going along with this, I don’t think you can only see one or the other. It changes, because people’s views change. Going back to Casserole’s animatic (cause that’s where this hc stems from), Tubbo once saw him as a friend, so he saw the more human Techno. After the festival, he’s afraid of Techno; he sees him as the piglin brute. And after they rescue Michael, I can see Tubbo seeing the human Techno again. Maybe not all the time; there’s trauma there. But when they talk about mundane things, that’s humanoid Techno. When its a battle, that’s piglin Techno, etc.
I think this applies to Tommy all the way from the start; its a normal thing to him. Sometimes, its human Techno, this older brother figure. Other times, he’s The Blade, a badass piglin brute. And I can see Techno asking Tommy, “what do I look like to you?”, and maybe its during Pogtopia, at a time that Tommy definitely just saw Techno as The Blade, and Tommy replies honestly. He’s a piglin brute. And maybe that’s one of the reasons why Techno “betrays” them and unleashes the withers. It ties into what he says to Tommy, that he only ever saw Techno as a weapon.
For Dream (cause I’m pretty big on RivalsDuo), if we base this simply on DSMP, then they first meet when Techno joins the smp. So Dream only sees Techno as The Blade, bc to him, Techno is just another pawn. Another person to use for his plans. But in the prison, when they’re roommates for three months, Techno starts looking different. He starts looking human. And I don’t think Dream would realize that he’s viewing/thinking of Techno differently, cause well. Its the prison. He’s being tortured, mans probably thinks its just hallucinations. Until he’s out of the prison for a while, and he crosses Techno’s path, and he still looks human.
Obviously Phil would always see Techno as human Techno. That’s his best bud. Even in the midst of battle, Phil sees Techno’s humanity. Its why Phil is Techno’s closet friend, why Techno is so sure that Phil would never betray him; bc even at his worst, Phil sees the real him.
This got way longer than I thought it would, and I don’t think I properly articulated everything. I was shaping the hc as I wrote lol. I’m not super into the DSMP, and my knowledge of canon is very iffy. I kinda just stick with the parts that i like and overlook the rest, but for something like DSMP i think that’s fine

Tw: vent
So back in like October I got in some drama in a server I'm in (I'm not gonna say what server I'm just gonna say it was the server of an artist I use to really look up to)
But yeah I was friends with one of the mods/server owners friends let's call them Tiffany
So me and Tiffany agreed to ship our wh ocs (let's call the ship MM)
Ok real quick ill just go ahead and make a name list thing:
Server owner: Britney
Owners friend that I became friends with: Tiffany
Ship me and Tiffany made: MM
My friend: Amanda
The server: the Britney server
Other person that shipped their oc with Tiffany's: Megan
Ok so now that that's all cleared up
Let's continue
So it originally started when I made a small vent drawing in the server vent chat
(I covered up the pfps for privacy sakes and for my sake)
But basically it's a vent of my holding my pfp at the time and my face being static with the discord pfps of artists I wished to draw like
I had forgotten to put that this vent wasn't me trying to attack anyone and according to Britney this had made people upset
They never told me who got upset so I couldn't personally apologize to those people
But me and Britney sorted it out and I told them to apologize to the people I had upset since Britney never told me who got upset
They said ok
After a bit , I slowly noticed that Tiffany never drew any MM stuff (which I didn't really mind)
But then I noticed she drew a bunch of ship art of Megan's oc with hers
So I nicely tried to ask/suggest ideas for MM art
As you can see I made it clear that they didn't need to if they didn't want to
But she never replied so I just dropped it
And I slowly started getting more depressed cause Tiffany seemed to be ignoring me and the rest of the Britney server
So I asked my friend Amanda if she could help
So she tried to subtly bring up MM
But as you can see
She got ignored aswell
As I slowly got more and more depressed a few other small problems happened (my writing on a magma was removed and a few people moved their drawings a little for me to fit something)
And just when I thought I couldn't be depressed enough
I got a dm during school from Britney saying they kicked me from the server due to my behavior and stuff
Calling me immature, etc
And since we were no longer in the same server, I couldn't dm back an apology, so I asked my friend Amanda to help me
I then made a vent on here, but they forced me to delete it
They also were taking their friends side saying I was trying to force people and guilt trip people into making MM ship art WHEN I CLEARLY DIDN'T
And THEY NEVER LET THE PEOPLE I APPARENTLY HURT THAT I APOLOGIZE AND SO EVERYONE IN THAT SERVER PROBABLY THINKS IM A FUCKING ASS HOLE
And apparently I was making Tiffany uncomfortable with the MM ship??
WHEN LITERALLY THEY NEVER TOLD ME THEY WERE UNCOMFORTABLE AND EVEN WENT ALONG WITH SOME OF MY SHIP IDEAS
AND NOW IM TOO AFRAID TO SPEAK IN ANY SERVER IM IN CAUSE OF WHAT HAPPENED
MIND YOU BRITNEY IS AN ADULT HERE AND I WAS 15 AT THE TIME NOW 16
I GOT BULLIED INTO HAVING EVEN WORSE SOCIAL ANXIETY AND NO ONE KNOWS NOR CARES EXCEPT FOR MY FRIEND AMANDA

I don’t think I’ll really go into this but what I think would’ve happened was that those internet trolls (sorry I mean ex-classmates) would’ve found Jungkook’s Twitter through Namjoon’s and found the school he’s going to (probably he posted about it or he’s following the school’s Twitter). Which is also how the brutal ones are dm-ing him all that hate yk?
For Jaegguk: His name IS 재국 BUT I slightly went for the more romanized version of his name. Like yk how some army’s spell Jungkook as “Jeongguk”? It’s similar to that. Because depending on how the reader reads “guk” it can easily become “걱” instead of “국”, so the extra “ㄱ” insures more the “ook” sound ig. Tbh I just made him jaegguk to fit his Twitter username nfjdjfhdhd🤧
Now this one is tricky and I could probably write a whole essay on the formal and like more truthful implications of what 오빠 means. Truthfully and technically, 오빠 does mean older brother or anyone older than the female speaker… HOWEVER, there’s kinda like a flirty aspect to it… 오빠 kinda carries a similar meaning to “babe” or “baby”. kinda. It’s more like an very very very innocent version of “daddy” too ig. It’s kinda difficult to really express in a few lines the implications that 오빠 can have. But most the time, between friends, you don’t call the other person 오빠 unless you really think of them as a brother or you’re flirting with them. It’s like bro/babe in one word and you kinda have to figure out what that person means based on your relationship with them.
For example, I have a childhood friend that is 2 years older than me that I call 오빠, but we are 1000000% not dating. I’ve known this dude since I was a fetus and sang Dora the Explorer everywhere. There’s no way we’d ever date but we have a mutual respect for each other so I still call him 오빠.
However when I was first flirting/썸-ing with my ex-bf who was 20 months away older than me I started calling him 오빠. We called each other by names before but that quickly changed when we found a mutual interest in one another.
If you’re a girl and you meet an older guy that you’re legitimately gonna be friends with, you’d more likely call them [name]-ssi until you’d both agree to drop honorifics. When that happens you’d most likely call him by his name and if you start mutually showing interest then you might transition to 오빠.
It’s quite complicated and there’s some guys who tell you to “call them 오빠 because they think of you as a little sister” when in reality they’re flirting with you.
This turned out wayyyy too long, sorry.
In yn’s case I made her call JK “오빠” because she was making fun of him but she’s gradually showing interest in him. Plus, JK seems to hate it rn so it’s funny… ahhh the things I do for the crackfullness of my fics🥴

Panting you sat on a crate in a random warehouse, thinking you finally lost him but the hand on your shoulder begged to differ.
The bandaged detective tilted your head slightly, giving him access to your neck, he pressed kisses there biting and licking it occasionally.
He just smirks when you visibly shudder against him. "Tell me, why did you leave, y/n?" He asks resuming to place open mouth kisses on your skin.
"D--Dazai"
"Hm? was I not enough? Why did you have to leave me?" His breath fawning over your neck, causing a shiver to trail down your spine.
Dazai turned you around in a way that you were now seated on his lap. "Did I do something wrong?" He asked, his face falling with a look of sorrow on his face.
Without thinking for another second, your hands found their way to his cheeks, cupping them, your thumb brushing over his cheekbone, and butterflies erupting your stomach.
"Oh, Dazai. It was never your fault. I was just too scared. Everyone I ever loved has left me and I don't want to lose you as well"
Chuckling at your answer, he placed his palm on the hand cupping his cheek, his thumb tracing patterns on your hand, he began.
"You should know this by now, y/n. I would never leave you" He said with the same lovesick look on his face.
He starts placing sloppy kisses on your collarbone, his hand caressing your neck. Licking the red and blue mark on you as your hands tangle themselves in his hair.
"D--Dazai, are you sure?"
Smirking he replies. "Absolutely, my nightshade."

Join me for another round of suffering and hot men (mostly suffering).
Not a scene by scene recap, just random thoughts.
Sad and h0rny boy Li Jing takes Xuan Nu to his home and marries her, but she’s a scheming bitch. He can’t stop thinking about Si Yin and spends his little screentime looking like a puppy who got lost during the moving.
Wet Mo Yuan alert! Could that water be more transparent tho...? 👀
I’m starting to understand what’s up with ghost Snape Mo Yuan...
Everyone goes to war. Moses Mo Yuan parts the sea, Ninth disciple dies (rip man, you were cute), Ghost King (not Wen Kexing) tries to suck the entire world into a magical bell/vortex but of course Mo Yuan sacrifices himself to seal him, just like he told Si Yin he would do if the need arises.
Mo Yuan is dead. Or is he? Si Yin wants to try a little necromancy to preserve his body for an eventual awakening. She gives him her blood because she’s a nine-tailed fox and nine-tailed fox blood works as embalming fluid. Take note, future morticians!
A little orphaned girl is introduced to the Heavenly King and YIKES, the look on Dijun’s face as he follows her with his eyes is disgusting. Please tell me I’m overreacting.
Mo Yuan’s fake lotus is dead (just like him). It turns into a cloud of glitter and enters the body of a woman thought to be infertile. Oh god, I know exactly where this is going...
Xuan Nu complains that she’s not getting any ghost D since the day she married Li Jing and I lol’ed.
Si Yin steals Mo Yuan’s body and goes back to her home. #true_love #grave_robbery
AND... of course, the previously infertile woman gives birth to a boy only days after touching Mo Yuan’s lotus. It’s Mo Yuan 2.0, aka Ye Hua. He’s clad in black, he’s brooding, he still has one facial expression.
Bai Qian’s set to marry Second Prince Zhao Jing and is ghosting him. He falls in love with her snake maid instead and it goes as well as you expect. Which is not well at all. Ye Hua is a f*cking snitch and rats on him when he takes his snake gf to Heavenly Realm. She’s imprisoned and tortured.
I forgot to add that we got a timeskip and it’s 70,000 years later (yeesh) and Si Yin is Bai Qian 24/7 now.
We get a sad backstory about Ye Hua. Turns out he wears black all the time to hide injuries from his mother. For real. Such a drama king.
Dilireba appears! So pretty... She’s saved from imminent death by Dijun (who just happens to be nearby) and istg they gonna have to work to make me swallow this couple. SHE IS A CHILD NEXT TO HIM. She’s literally child-coded!!!
The King tells Ye Hua not to be a slave for p*ssy like his Second Uncle, then his First Uncle (who I keep mistaking for Zhe Yan but Zhe Yan has a cute bow on his pink robes) tells him the opposite. Ye Hua swears he’s not weak like that. We’ll see in a few episodes.
Bai Qian’s wedding to Second Prince Zhao Jing is cancelled due to popular demand and she’s promptly betrothed to Heavenly Realm MVB (most valuable bachelor) Ye Hua. He’s soooo excited...
Xuan Nu (I love to hate her, Bambi Zhu is so good!) is hella mad that her husband Li Jing banged a random maid without condoms and got her pregnant. She bitch-slaps the maid and sends her to die in some awful place. Where is Li Jing btw? Too busy making babies to make an appearance? I miss his sexy face.
Bai Qian’s brother (Yu Menglong) is so cute!! I love his little mouth! Brb, I have to stalk his Weibo.
Bai Qian managed to calm down the Ghost King inside his bell prison but he’s still powerful enough to kick her to the Mortal Realm to suffer. Ah shit, here we go again... She lost her memories but got a cute kitten that looks exactly like my own cat (dm me for pics of my cat). It’s a win for me.

1) Double Standards
Jesus Fucking Christ, both of the characters did the same thing and yet you call the other worse for that thing. Both characters did the same thing and yet you call the other better for doing the same thing. Stop it. I am so incredibly annoyed.
2) The Polarization
This isn't a C!Dream apologist vs C!Sam apologist, nor is it a C!Tubbo apologist vs C!Techno apologist. Not everything has to be a war all the time. Calm tf down. You can be an apologist for many characters even if they are enemies in the lore.
3) Black and White Mentality/Morality
Some of you genuinely do not fucking know what morally gray means. ALL of the characters are morally gray. They do good shit, they do bad shit. They believe in good shit, believe in bad shit. Why are y'all treating morally gray as if it meant "good" or something? Some shades are lighter than others, sure, but bro. Come on. Morally gray is morally gray. I can't with y'all.
Not only that but when someone critiques your fave, you immediately jump to thinking they're calling that character evil. Like, bitch, no. This fandom will be the death of me istg.
4) No Proper Fandom Etiquette
