I never talked about What if...Zombies?!
On a purely objective level, I thought the episode was pretty meh. There were parents I really liked — Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa one last time, the whole thing with Vision keeping Wanda as a zombie was SUPER fucked and I loved it — but even for the MCU, everyone was WAY too glib about all their loved ones dying and becoming zombies. Like. You are now covered in your former friend's and ally's rotting blood and body. Could you show an emotion that is not "ewwwww!"
But with that said. I am going to rank this one higher than it probably deserves on a quality level, because it gave us one thing — and that was zombie ironstrange husbands.
It's like 2 minutes of content and pretty stupid. And I loved every second of it. I think it was the first direct ironstrange content we'd gotten since Endgame, and I soaked that in like a plant coming into contact with sunlight for the first time in a decade. Fucking love these messed up little guys. I hope they're still having little zombie adventures in their awful little universe.

Peter was crying in the hospital waiting room the group home manager putting on a fake ‘I care about what’s happening’ face Peter knew damn well that she’s faking. His thoughts are interrupted by the doctor coming out to talk to them.
“hello my name is doctor Conwell.” The doctor greeted
Peter perked up “how’s my sister?” He asked trying to be tough, for a 4 year old, that was hard.
“well Y/n will have epilepsy due to the head injury” doctor Conwell concluded
“what does that mean?” Peter asked
“shush Peter let the adults talk.” Said the group home manager
doctor Conwell completely ignored the woman’s statement and turned to Peter. “Well It means that your sister would faint then start shaking and it can’t really be stopped” she said
“oh so like seizers?” He asked forgetting that its not common to understand that since he’s a 4 year old.
“Y-Yes they are seizers” doctor Conwell said wondering how this kid knew what seizers were.
Peter nodded remembering what his sister taught him about first aid.
“how do you know that kid aren’t you 4” the doctor questioned
Peter then realized that it wasn’t common knowledge for a 4 year old. “Oh um,” Peter stammered, “ my sister taught me enough first aid to be able to help anyone who needed it.” He said
the doctor nodded “follow me you may see her”

“you know the group home 2 houses down?”
“yeah-?” Stephan says confused
“apparently a 7 year old girl named ‘ Y/n Parker’ fell down 2 flights of stairs crushed her skull and gained epilepsy.”
“what the- falling down two flights of stairs wouldn’t make you crush your skull” Stephan explains going into doctor mode.
Tony goes wide eye. “You think-?”
“that there’s more going on? Yes.” Stephan says
“what are we going to do Steph?” Tony asked

Kinda a Sense8 IronStrange Idea/Concept

I guess sense8 au like it’s a thing around the whole universe. All the avengers and some other heroes are in a cluster. Also a canon divergence au after CW and like Tony Stark and Natasha Romanoff lives cuz booo so basically a Not Endgame compliant au.

And whoever the 8th is, you decide
Stephen is in a cluster with Wong and Mordo and whoever but like let’s make it so that the three of them are only ones left in their 8 person cluster.
Just imagine still MCU/Marvel but with the Sense8 lore mixed in. Also, let’s make the avengers around the same age, early 30s. Anyways, they all get “reborn” after that fight in CW, and so what I’m going for, is all of them experiencing what they all went through. All they know through the haziness of being reborn is that one of them needs help to survive.
(I had this idea in the back of my mind that in this version of the MCU/sense8 world, since they can basically visit each other and use their skills to help each other, why not use their powers, so like Thor being able to use his lightning skills when he’s visiting the other’s body. So they can access Steve’s healing powers to heal Tony.)
Like again it’s not automatic instant forgiveness just cuz they’re connected. Like Tony and Wanda are still learning about each other. In the show, there’s certain people who understand what the other is feeling or who has an idea/view that might look out of place but the other somehow understands, they get pulled into their space and they share their view. Like I know that Marvel had Steve connect with Wanda, but like there’s this potential of Tony and Wanda just learning about each other and the truth, and this is me lowkey wanting a bit of Wanda learning to truly redeem herself instead of just pushing it away in the back of her mind.
Thanos is still on his snap half of the population of the universe thing and stuff, of course, they still stop him, but on a shorter timeline. Anyways there’s another bad guy like Whispers, so maybe Hydra or Hydra adjacent, who’s after sensates, but ones who are enhanced or control a suit of armor to deal damage and stuff. He hunts after the clusters who have powers and (TW: death) sometimes people in the clusters who have powers or stuff once they happen to make eye contact with the Whispers in this verse, kill themselves in a way that causes great damage to their head so they aren’t taken advantage of in death by Hydra adjacent Whispers.
Stephen, whose cluster is down to 3, Mordo, Wong, and himself, makes direct eye contact with Hydra-adjacent Whispers. He and Tony fall in love and both clusters work together to stop Whispers from getting to Stephen and Tony’s cluster and any other clusters with enhanced people.
Anyways what ideas I have for this au is that one scene in the Christmas episode of Sense8 where Riley and Will are in the bathtub just enjoying the vibes that Riley tried to create so that Will isn’t stuck in whatever vibe he’s in cuz of Whispers.
Once the clusters stop Whispers, every sensate breathes a sigh of relief cuz they’re not being hunted down anymore for their sensate and powers. Stephen and Tony cuz the clusters also need time alone with their SOs, go do their thing of reconnecting with each other physically, emotionally, and sexually. Stephen and Tony do their own thing with the bathtub scene, but this time more relaxed since there’s no more Whispers. They’re having fun sitting in the water and just basically kissing each other all over their faces. They’re having fun feeding each other sweets making up for the fact they haven’t had time to enjoy because the stress from Whispers was so strong. What they’re feeling is also amplified since the clusters are also reconnecting with their SOs and just a huge feels fest and also going all NSFW.
Anyways after the experience with Whispers, Tony and Stephen finally learn to take some time for themselves and just relax and have fun. Their “self-care” days end with the two of them in the bathtub just feeding each other sweets and giving each other bubble hairdos and beards. If they end up having bathtub sex then that’s no one’s business but theirs.

here's a little excerpt from my ironstrange/wongstrange crossover fic? basically, tony gets into an accident in his lab and crushes his hands, Stephen wakes up with the arc reactor in his chest and no memory whatsoever of the past month. They both find Kamar-Taj and for some reason Fate decides that they belong together, but Stephen has eyes for Wong and essentially tells Fate to fuck off.
TW: mentions of death and a kind of chronic disease?
On the twelve of March, Stephen found his journal. It was under his bed and took him by surprise, considering that he never actually took up journaling.
Stephen poured over the entries. The first was dated February 9th, and it talked about the accident, the week-long stay in the hospital, and the hatred that Past Stephen felt towards the ‘incompetent’ nurses. Stephen could relate, he loved the hospital as a surgeon, but as a patient, it was probably one of the worst places Stephen could be in. The next few entries were mundane, updates about the hospital, his condition, his and Christine’s relationship throughout the experience, how the hospital was coming together to help Stephen. There was one whole, three page entry that was just a rant about Nic West and how Nic had started the initiative and was the first person to step in when Stephen was forced to take a break. It was interesting to read Past!Stephen’s rambling on how incompetent Nic was and how weird it was that Nic seemed to care for him more than Christine did.
February 27th entry freaked him out the most. It was one sentence, five words. They had been gouged into the two pages, underlined and traced over and over again in harsh, jagged lines.

Okay, so having a drinking contest with your boyfriend seemed like a bad idea. And it was. Oh, it most certainly was a terrible idea. But Tony knew that Stephen was just as ego driven at certain things just like he was and so, the most down drinks in less than 30 minutes had officially started last night. He doesn’t remember too much after that and really doesn’t care about who won or lost because he thinks that they had to stop at some point as in not to get alcohol poisoned. Perhaps that was Tony’s idea in the first place but he had a doctor for a boyfriend so that’s probably where they had drawn the line at. No one was going to go on Stephen’s watch.
The next day where they are still both alive but with Stephen sporting a giant headache thanks to all of the peer pressure from last night, he wakes up first. Quite the opposite on how this usually went since he was more of an afternoon person rather a morning one. Tony usually pestered him to wake up more times than not, which resulted usually of Stephen portaling a pillow at his boyfriend’s face, all in good jest though through sheer lovingly annoyance. Anyways, Stephen wonders if something was wrong with Tony as he usually was more ready to go back to his tower and tinker with more technology than spending it with Stephen in his room in the Sanctum. Just because they were away from the dangerous of having too much to drink, didn’t mean there was other problems. He goes over gently and reaches for Tony’s wrist to check for a pulse.
Stephen’s too focus to notice a ring on the other’s finger as he was more focused on checking Tony’s wellbeing than more frivolous things. It’s not until he releases a breath that he had held finding out that Tony was just sleeping the alcohol away from last night that he notices the very expensive piece of jewelry on his boyfriend’s finger that he panics so bad that he’s white as a sheet. But it’s replaced by a sense of calm that he notices a ring similar to Tony’s on his own hand as he was going through a heart attack. It’s a shame that no one remembers what had led to this but he hopes Tony isn’t too mad once he wakes up from this.
“Hey, ‘I love you 3000′, wakey wakey. You got some explaining to do, Tony. Love, ‘I love you in every universe’”. Really, he shouldn’t be teasing his husband now but something in his mind finds this situation very comical in a cosmic sort of way.

okay but like. if y/n (fem) would be the "filling" in an ironstrange sandwich, and okay, it's a committed relationship and they're all roly poly and happy, but.
yk that study that was done about men, that if they can't get THE GIRL, they settle for the next convenient thing? and we all know it's palmerstrange and pepperony, always has been.
so y/n is with two men that let their it-girl get away, so they settled for the next best thing, each other. it makes sense, right? who else can relate to the hectic lives of geniuses with superpowers but they, themselves? y/n comes at some point and they grow on each other. like fungus.
but then it gets serious and she unwittingly discovers the complicated history between stephen and christine & tony and pepper. she sees the way steph gets around christine, all cheeky and shy; how free tony is with pepper.
so, our poor y/n has to think long and hard and face the painful reality of always remaining second in line. even despite christine being married to some guy and pepper having 25 hours in a day dedicated to work. y/n is simply not it
