Alright new Jason Todd headcanons in a dpxdc setting:
Danny is a "liminal" ghost, rather than a "half" ghost. He's alive and dead at the same time. (He's like Jesus Christ (in the church denomination I grew up in), fully ghost and fully human.) Danny, in human form, can go through a ghost shield, because he IS a living human.
Jason, however, is a reanimated corpse. He isn't a ghost, wouldn't have a ghost core, etc, he has a normal human system that runs ON ectoplasm. Jason CANNOT go through a ghost shield, because he is always an ectoplasmic entity. Danny can go through the Fenton Ghost Catcher and be split into a ghost and a human; if Jason went through the ghost catcher, he would straight up die.
(For my purposes I'm gonna say that Jason became an ectoplasmic entity upon his resurrection, but wasn't very stable. Dunking in the Lazarus pit stabilized his system but also poisoned his ectoplasm.)
I do think that Jason could learn certain ghost abilities if he learned to harness his ectoplasm, especially if they detoxed him off the Lazarus waters. He's probably already enhancing his stealth and strength in ways he hasn't really noticed. I think he's held back by the amount of physical matter he's lugging around, so maybe he couldn't fly, but I'm imagining temporary invisibility, or intagibility of like, a limb at a time. Maybe he can't walk through walls, but in a fight he can dodge by instinctively making the targeted part of his body intangible.

Mikhail and Vitali were inseparable; when they weren’t studying or getting into fights, they would hang out at Mikhail’s place to smoke and get drunk on cheap rum and vodka, to then pass out in each other’s arms and sleep most of the next day away.
They promised each other— no matter what would happen— they would never leave each other’s side. Yet after starting university and college respectively, they did not see each other for a little over six years, leaving them both heartbroken and wondering what went wrong.

People always want to talk about codependency as a romantic thing but honestly I knaw at the bars of my cage thinking about codependency as like, a platonic thing. Familial attachments from trauma and high stress that make people unwilling to separate from each other. Which is to say I think so much about Dave and Rose dying together and being the only two humans on a meteor full of weird aliens (four of which have killed people) and how this would make them latch onto each other so hard during those three years. Going on a suicide mission with your sibling HAS to fuck you up in some intangible way, and I don’t think that either of them come out of that normal (assuming that they were to begin with). It isn’t even in a way we’re they’re actively aware of it and openly using each other as coping mechanisms, but they’re constantly seen together or seeking each other out. I mean thinking of it even just as a base level I’m obsessed with Dave asking Rose if he can join her and Kanaya on their date and Rose being like “No!” only to be seen sitting with Dave and getting shitfaced right next to him leading up to it. Those kids need each other more than they’ll ever admit to anybody.

Thinking about:
The two moments in ep 1 (6:08) and ep 2 (32:37) when Jihyun is seen in the background between Jaewon and Tae Hyung/Eun Ji respectively.
The way Jaewon's taller shadow engulfs Jihyun's smaller shadow as Jaewon walks towards Jihyun on the beach in ep 2.
Yoon Won singing on the beach.
Just how fantastic Yoon Won, Ae Ri, and Jihyun's boss are.
How it looks like Jaewon drew himself and his younger brother and maybe a young Jihyun in the landscape of the Han river in ep 4.
The way Jaewon tugs Jihyun into him after putting the rucksack on Jihyun in ep 4 (7:03).
The tale of the country mouse who ran back home (ep 4)...and me wondering if it's foreshadowing a separation and/or time skip in future eps.
Jihyun keeping Jaewon's art in case he becomes famous...and me wondering if that will come back if there's a time skip/separation at the end.
The fact that the therapist is always in the same top, which might indicate that the therapy scenes are all from the same session...maybe meaning everything else that's happening are flashbacks from the time of the session...which ends in ep 5. There are no scenes of the therapy session in ep 6.
The bust on the shelf in the therapists room, with hands over its eyes...
Jihyun's dream of going to the Hanson Tower with a lover and putting a lock up there...and me hoping he'll do that with Jaewon.
The "traffic won't stop for you" sign behind Jaewon as he gets drunk in ep 5 and talks about siblings. If it turns out his brother died because he ran into the road I will throw fists.
The way Jaewon's little brother is dressed in a light blue t-shirt with something cream over the top in the flashback and then Jihyun is also wearing light blue/grey under a cream jacket in the next scene.
Jaewon's "We are always living in other's frameworks in this world". And "Don't try to get out of the box".
The silence as the credits roll at the end of ep 6.

Ok so like…I’ve always been a sucker for time travel fics. Entire Gaang goes back? Great! Just Zuko? The angst is immaculate and I love it every time. Aang? Always a trip. Couples going back? The SHIPPING. The point is, time travel is the best (when done right) and I’m not ashamed to admit I’ll eat it up every time.
So I was browsing through ATLA time travel fics as you do, and I had an Idea.
We’ve all seen the Gaang time travel/dimension travel (and sometimes Azula, which is pretty fun in and of itself) but Ive never seen this done with Ozai (not to say there’s none, I just might not have found it)
Now wait. Hear me out. I hate Ozai as much as the next guy. Canon Ozai is a shit person who doesn’t deserve good things.
But.
Imagine an alternate universe Ozai who’s not such a shit person.
This Ozai makes mistakes and does more than questionable things, but at the end of the day he loves his kids and his nation. So he is VERY CONFUSED when he one day wakes up/dies and is transported to canon universe. IMAGINE. The confusion. THE ANGST. On BOTH SIDES.
No one will talk about his wife, who is apparently gone and has been for years (?????) Zuko looks…honestly terrified anytime he’s in the same room as Ozai (which is more than a little disturbing!) and Azula is…well. He doesn’t know what to think about Azula. This alternate Azula is so different from his Azula it nearly gives him whiplash the first time they interact.
So Ozai’s just shrugging and doing the same things he usually does with his kids (because even if they’re not from the same universe, they are still versions of his kids) and Zuko and Azula are just like. Extremely confused.
The day of black sun comes, and with it Zukos confrontation.
So Zukos just like, letting loose on him, yelling about years worth of pain and suffering caused by the man in front of him.
And this, of course, extremely hurts and confuses Ozai (what did alternate him do?????)
He can’t even say anything back, because these alternate versions of his children are very obviously hurt and in pain and Ozai is having a sneaking suspicion it might be alternate hims fault. So when Zuko finally lets out years worth of anger and pain on him, Ozai just sits there and takes it, numb with shock. He can’t believe a version of him could hurt family, but here they are. Zuko gets to the part about his scar and.
Ozai just can’t even respond. He’s just…extremely disturbed and horrified. By this entire conversation, actually…
So when Zuko goes to leave, Ozai doesn’t stop him. Zuko doesn’t feel safe here, and Ozai…really can’t blame him. He’s honestly very horrified and a lot disgusted by what Canon him did to both his children, and knows there’s no erasing that. The best he can do is try to mend burned bridges and salvage something out of this mess canon him made.
Idk. Just a thought.
