Well with mfb you dont really have a choice unless if you know japanese well enough do you? The sub doesn’t exist besides the first 30 episodes… yet😭 what i guess youre reffering to is the regular ass japanese version😭 i mean if there WAS a sub id naturally watch that of course because im all for sub i dont like dubs but like when you dont have a choice… its the dub😭 i of course watch the japanese version (without sub cauze it doesnt exist) sometimes on certain episodes where im like “i GOTTA see how this was in the original) . also the dub isnt bad by any means LMFAO people shit on it but like? Im sorry the joke delivery is a thousand times funnier LMFAO theres just so much like random ass funny shit they say that you know wasnt there in the original version?? Like i just know😭😭i dont know japanese well enough to understand it fully but like theres certain jokes in there that were just added with the dub and you know it.
Fusion ryūga is funny as FUCK. Like one of the major reasons why i dont hate his ass is because Hes literally so fucking funny wdym your father couldnt cut it. I feel like the va started taking him more seriously towards masters LMFAO and from what ive heard from japenese ryūga he has the same seriousness throughout. Tetsuya is also funny in both in both versions…jumbo crab…….crabba whaaaat⁉️⁉️ plus coach steel plus masamunee😭😭😭 Daxiang’s voice difference is also so funny theres something so funny abt his. English dub like. He sounds like hes trying too hard like 99% of the time but hes also silly. He sounds like an angry mother grounding his son when talking to Chao xin in that one episode😭😭 If that makes sense idk i fucking love daxiang… i compared the a scene once where hes like kinda shouting? Screaming? While fighting Julian and Japense va sounds so serious while the eng. the😭the english version😭😭hoAAAAAAAAA😭😭😭HE SOUNDS SO FUNNY HES SO STUPID💔💔💔
one voice i dont like from the japenese version is🤔julian…. Theres a way that. Dynamis sounds in the english version thats like. He. Sounds like kinda like a robot like a guy with no inside voice its kinda funny. The robot thing might be bcs hes constantly spewing out exposition and being a plot device but still its like the way he tones his voice sounds like its his first time talking ever ITS NOT BAD ITS FUNNY😭😭maybe it makes sense cauze that mofo lives in that isolated temple or whateva. Also credit to the english ver. Of the scene where Aguma and Kyouya were battling and the argument was literally fucking “youre not a lion youre a house cat in the backyard” (great thing to say when youre on johnnes’s side aguma😬) “GRR what did you just call me” THIS IS A MIDDLE ARGUMENT. I haven't played bg3 so I'd love to hear how astarion's views of koto change throughout the story pls <3 like is he immediately attracted or what. and what about koto's feelings and how they change. gimmie the deets.
Honestly, Astarion sums up his part pretty well in his confession dialogue!
and then hilariously another tidbit from his final romance scene literally right before he tells you he loves you and you have sex on his grave (ignore old k'oto i havent gotten there on new k'oto yet and also the different outfits these are from two different play sessions)
basically tldr. astarion didnt really care for k'oto at all at first, it was all just manipulation in order to get him to trust him so he would keep him around and protect him since he was terrified of his master finding him (he's a vampire spawn and the only reason he has his free will up until we kill his master is because of the mind flayer parasites all the characters have, he only got away when the mind flayers kidnapped him and has been paranoid about being found since, rightfully so since we come across a monster hunter sent after him early on) so it was all just. seduction and charming! he was really kinda annoyed by k'otos whole 'good guy' thing, like 'ohhhh wow youre a hero. what good are you. nobody ever helped me or saved me. where were you when i needed you.' (obviously completely unfair, k'oto is only 28 and he was turned 200 years ago) and kind of a little bit afraid of him? sure he's shorter than him but he's also way stronger physically and has fangs and claws and strange beastly habits that really just kinda put him off for a while bc yknow. fangs hurt him once. sure this guy seems harmless but he knows better than to trust!!!
except he doesnt. because k'oto was completely unexpected in every way. he's kind and funny and genuine in a way astarion had completely forgotten was possible. he loved him so completely and so honestly the whole time. even when he told him sweet lies and was just so obviously using him he just. kept loving him!!! (k'oto voice) its not real now but someday it might be, and ill still be here when it is. when hes ready to love me back. <--------shit like That!!! the icing on the cake was coming to realize that he and k'oto had. a LOT more in common than he wouldve ever thought. particularly when it came to matters of sex and how they had trouble viewing their bodies as their own due to their circumstances and how it all made it difficult for them to say 'no' to things out of fear/obligation…the very last thing he ever expected from this dumbass catboy was to see himself 100-something years younger in him…..he just. was exactly what astarion needed…uegh!!!
k'oto was pretty much head over heels from the beginning despite the red flags. he was far from home and work where nobody would even think to offer him money for his time and would just spend it with him because they genuinely wanted to for nothing more in exchange than just their own time and company so even if he was being blatantly manipulated it was still the realest shit he'd experienced in years from probably the most attractive guy he'd ever met upto that point so it was a recipe for some good ol fashion love at first sight…or i guess. love at first knifepoint.
maybe a bit of confusion at first bc he'd never been in love before so there was probs a brief period of 'am i in love or is this just lust' until after he slept with him the first time and it didn't go away and in fact only got stronger and he was like 'ok yeah im in love actually!!!!'

Hey, I’m Artemis! Can you please write a Boom!Sonic oneshot or headcanon for if his crush was like the golden girl of their village, like he’s the golden boy? So like she’s as powerful as he is (has super speed (like Sonic) and can control energy) and he’s like amazed by her cause she’s just like him. And then at New Years Retribution or Robots From the Sky he confesses and turns out she likes him too! If you do RFtS then perhaps the scene could be he just blurts it out while running from the robots and they only process it afterwards (just cause I feel like Sonic would be the first to bend I’mjustramblingatthispoint) and then they become a power couple and perhaps a funny moment where Eggman says he shipped them the entire time? It’s a mouthful but it’s be great if you could do it!

Sonic is such a dork around you can I just say… like he tries so hard to be cool around you cause he thinks you’re really awesome but man he just .. can’t help but let the dorkiness shine through. However, he tries to make it clear he likes you through his stupid flirting and trying to do cool moves on eggmans bots around you. You’d have to be oblivious or assume his flirting is just joking around, but he gets really flustered if you ever flirt back rather than act unimpressed (if you do act unimpressed he gets kinda moody lol).
His confession is more like the kinda “I HAVE A MASSIVE CRUSH ON YOU! I ALWAYS HAVE! I THINK YOURE SO COOL AND IM SORRY I DIDNT TELL YOU SOONER I WAS BEING A COWARD!” Type of thing, like completely letting go of his pride and just telling you how he feels finally. Like it’s very hard to process it all at once since he’s pouring his heart out but it’s hard to not process some of what he’s saying.
Eggman totally makes a joke about how he shipped you both the entire time, two of the golden children dating eachother! What a dream! Besides that, he makes fun of sonic for the way he finally confesses because “wow!! What a LOOOOOOSERRRRRR”

ohh i have SUCH a controversial jennifer jareau opinion. and this is probably gonna be more like an essay. i wish i could say i was sorry.
everyone always says theyre anti jj slander, which is fine ofc, but just weird bc i NEVER see anyone slandering her. in my 3 years in the fandom, ive seen it happen maybe 5 times total, which sucks because she deserves so. much. more. hate.
(spoilers for *that* jeid plotline, as well as some other things)
in season 7, spencer tells her that she has mean girl vibes and she replies "i was a nice girl, especially to guys like you" which ALWAYS pissed me off because she literally just confirmed what he said? and everyone acts like it was a funny joke. she said that shit with her whole chest and meant it, and it wouldnt be *that* big of a deal if it was the only time. but shes consistently mean to him throughout the show, ignoring him, walking away, etc. spencer isnt even the only one shes like this to. and she just has a sense of superiority, idk how to describe it. just by the way she talks and interacts with those around her, you can tell. (while we're on that note, she also ignores her privileged a LOT. maybe not all the time, but theres been multiple times where she acts like she went through hell to get where she is. other than her sister passing, she had it completely easy. in terms of resources, opportunities, etc., she was basically born with a golden spoon in her mouth.)
in s14 when she confesses to spencer that shes always been in love with him, it just makes my blood boil. obviously he had been over her a long time (imo), but that was something she should've kept to herself bc it just brought alllll those feelings back to the surface. not to mention that hes the godfather of her children, and shes married, and will probably (definitely) doesnt know how she feels. thats literally emotional cheating on her part, even though reid didnt reciprocate it, it was still wrong of her to be that close to him without will knowing how she really felt.
there are other things i dont like abt her too, but those are the main things and im trying to keep this as short as possible. but i literally cant stand her, shes by far my least favorite character, and everyone acts like shes an angel sent from heaven, when really shes just a privileged bitch.
i like JJ a lot (i want her to be my mom </3) but i do agree with several of your points - she's definitely not the worst character, each and every character has a list of flaws that we could make, so this by no means makes her the worst, but it does make me angry <3
i just rewatched that 'mean girl' episode!! she doesn't even hesitate before saying 'guys like you', which, you're totally right, means he was right, and she was definitely a mean girl in high school. or even if she didn't say any of it out loud, she was still silently judging 'guys like him' and in high school you can always tells who's silently judging you. they're teenagers. they're not silent about it. the nasty looks they give you?? oh man. but i do think that the blame for ignoring spencer needs to be placed on all of the team members, because they do it all the time too, it's not just her. she has some pretty bad moments with him, but it's definitely something they all do and she shouldn't take the full blame

one scene of hers that really pissed me off was in reid's kidnapping two-parter in s2 (the hankel incident) where she was almost attacked by those rabid (?) dogs and she shot them and she's obviously shaken up and she tries finding reid and realizes what happened and she feels so much guilt for splitting up with him - which was not her fault, she didn't know and should not be held responsible for what happened to him - that she started trying to make other people mad at her?? she cornered derek who was grieving and stressed at the loss of his best friend and they're both sleep deprived and she says something like 'admit it, you hate me, you think it's my fault' AND I???? GIRL. he is being so nice to you?? he was literally like oh honey if you need time off i know you're really shaken up and we can take care of this and and and AND SHE WAS LIKE oH yeah suRe just admit it i'm the worSt everybody hATEs mE- I WAS... this is not about you. go get therapy for the dog attack that you just almost suffered?? do not stand around a crime scene and pester the victim's best friend and delay the investigation because you're feeling guilty. go talk to someone about it. take a few days off. again, i totally get that she was shaken up and hopped up on adrenaline, but everyone told her to go get some rest and she was like no i think i will make myself the problem instead <3
all of that being said i still love her </3 i was not kidding when i say that i wish she was my mom holy shit i would have loved to grow up as her kid but she definitely has her flaws just like the rest of the BAU, and logical, critical breakdowns of a characters flaws aren't slandering, they're analysis, so i think everybody needs to stop shitting on people who criticize or analyze their faves lmao

OKAY YOU'VE UNLEASHED THE BEAST. so like we all know the post str harutaka dynamic is all lovey dovey etc because FINALLY! WE ARE TOGETHER!!!!!!! sort of thing well kanoshin is literally the opposite. in my fucked up head post str kanoshin dynamic at the time this would occur is shintaro after breaking up w/ ayano and ALSO takane is trying to distance themself from him so he's basically like a sopping wet cat in cardboard box on kano's doorstep that kano has also been pining for secretly and unwillingly for like 2 years. so to me kanoshin is basically shintaro: heem heem whimper (super vulnerable doesnt even care if it's gay at this point or if he has feelings for kano he just needs to be held he can think abt all of that later) kano: okayyyy whatever ^w^ (what the hell is going on what i am doing why is shintaro in my arms where am i) and that repeats 100 times in post shinaya breakup divorce. mix in shintaro's horrible capacity for affection since he doesnt think he wants to be hated but also wants to be loved but he should be hated blah blah blahand with kano it's like he validates both of that, that makes zero sense when i type it out but trust me it makes sense in my head. so ignoring canon i think takane and kano r definitely besties bc they r basically the Same Guy????? which like u said it's even acknowledged IN kano's novel where he's like "yep she's twisted JUST like me" also fun fact the same ost that plays over the kano and seto scene where he opens up abt everything in mca ALSO plays over the scene where takane and ayano discuss takane's feelings abt haruka im SOOOOO normal abt that fact. in my mind they r talking or smthn and shintaro gets brought up and kano somehow lets it slip with a "soooo did shintaro ever also kiss you or something haha :3c" and takane's like "what" and that's how takane found out. and i think takane would have REALLY mixed feelings abt that especially bc like "uhhh how would ayano feel?" but when he goes to talk to shintaro abt it a bit more (codependency in the mix bc in her mind it's like well surely shintaro will tell me soon anyway bc he tells me everything bc he needs to tell me. normal things to think) he looks at them like he just shit himself. i kind of forget where i was going with this. but if they EVER did go on a double date it would be so awkward bc harutaka r Normal and kanoshin is Very Much Not Normal. but because takane and haruka are the only ones who know abt kano and shintaro's weird not relationship and shintaro and kano cant stand being alone together for a long amount of time bc it forces them to confront their feelings but also want to be together it's the perfect solution. this kind of goes hand in hand with shintaro's heavy reliance on takane, it's like codependency......2!!!!!! but kano is Also there. SORRY THIS SOUNDS INSANE AND IS SOOOOO LONG IM SORRY im normal

SO kano finally managing to let one of his siblings comfort him is obviously scary to him, takane's reaction at ayano's words abt how shintaro needs someone selfish to pull him forward and how she has to be honest to haruka is also scary to her. So having that ost in both these scenes....SO GOOD!!!

i'm pretty sure ALL the kano&takane interactions are from kano's point of view, and maybe the fact they're so similar is why kano is always so mean spirited to her in his pov. like he sees too much of him in them so he's like lol FUCK YOU. like kano always acts so annoyed towards takane. i hate how in the fifth novel takane getting its body back is so brushed off and kano doesnt even help her, and then he's like augh i dont wanna see her right now. like u just traumadumped that bitch to hell and then not only do you not help her get her body back but u also act all weird about having to see her. jail for kano for 1000 years.
But like to me he acts that way... takane IS the first person kano ever opens up to precisely bc he sees himself in her, and like him she is secretly someone else. kano resents takane because she's a lot like him BUT.... BETTER.
kano acts kind of like a brat to takane yet says he doesnt want her to dislike him and SAYS that he is jealous of takane.
this line MEANS SO MUCH TO ME *GOES INSANE*
i think kano is rly jealous of takane bc she's a lot like him yet she's a good person. and he doesn't think he is a good person. and on top of it takane's the one who stays by shintaro's side who kano cant stand so he resents her x2. im not a fan of what mca did in ep 7 with kano&ene but for kano to go as far as do that to someone who never did Anything to him just bc he's pissed to another guy. like man kano is such a fucking jerk to takane in all routes and it's never treated as heavy as it is. tortures her with turning into haruka and takes his frustration out on her abt people moving on (which his siblings&shintaro do yet he chooses TAKANE to take it out on who is in an even worse position than everyone else bc shes dead like girl whats it supposed to do SHES JUST TRYING TO LIVE THEIR LIFE OR WHATEVER IS LEFT OF IT AND AT LEAST HELP SOMEONE SHE LOVES MOVE ON TOO) and also traumadumps them and then leaves her to her own devices to get her body back. like fuck that. kano sucks so bad and takane always forgives him so easily. this is partly cuz again the narrative sorta brushes it off coughs coughs the narrative doesnt take takane seriously cough cough but TO ME!! but yeah. i think that's how haruka would know. personally i think kano&shintaro would rather be alone bc theyre both terrified of this relationship and wouldnt want anyone to know PLUS i already like takane as relationship mediator to shinaya so doing it to her twice in a row seems just cruel Like at this point takane is living their best domestic harutaka cat parent life ok. like leave it tf alone!! give them a break!! however it is extremely comical. most painful awkward time ever with kanoshin & harutaka

Hiii Art!! How have you been and how's your work/studies whatever it is that you do. Good? Eh? Well mine's kinda on a dry and wet mode rn lol.
Mind if I rant here?
I have 2wk worth of exams coming up and I have no motivation to study. I honestly regret taking up the course im studying for. I mainly took it up because its lucrative and helpful in today's economy. But honestly I should have just pursued 14yo Lyfie's dream to become a nurse. It wouldve been so much more rewarding🥲🥲🥲.
Anyways despite that im just praying my gpa doesnt go down the drain, and im gulity right now because i wasted the whole day doing nothimg even though i told myself to go study. I couldnt do it. I just......well i knew what i was doing was bad but everytime i looked at my notes i felt as if i knew them all, and in the end achieved nothing. Sigh i hate myself for how repetitve this unhealthy cycle has become. Parental pressure isnt helping either. I try ranting and they say its just momentary tiredness and it would go away soon and then further guilt me into wasting time :((((.

(I.e set time aside to write your fics and even feel motivated to open up that document? I have so many plot bunnies, headcanons and fic ideas, but no matter how enticing, everytime i try opening up my google docs, that burst of excited energy saps away. Urgh its so frustrating!!😠)

Funny enough i also know that both oc and jk are heavy on respecting e/o be it space or privacy, and when i heard Twice MISAMO's Do Not Touch song which was about consent and it was potryaed beautifully compared to art masterpeices, it got me thinking about their initial stages of skin ship or how they got comfortable around e/o physically or even their first time. hmmm when it comes to inspiration to write 🤔 like i said i do love schedules hehe i open a draft every night before bed + in my notes i also save words/phrases/scenarios that pop in my mind throughout the day but couldn’t write yet :D but i don’t really get to write everyday bcs i’m too tired or nothing just comes out. sometimes i only write one sentence or one paragraph then pass out lol. on a good day i finish one scene and maybe start writing the next too !! a jungkook weverse live will always 100% give me a big rush of motivation tho 🤭

Ok so, even if I'm actually impressed by all the stuff that happened, I feel like the only thing I can talk about (bcs I got better in it by reading u guys) is Byler and melvin, Im so sorry.
SPOILERS AHEAD:
This season has been rough. I have some issues and contradicts ideas. First of all, (this is about the calls and the first moments) Mike's treatment to Will could be again interpreted as he cared more of her girlfriend, or he was trying to avoid Will to face the reality . So, we could have two different positions about his feelings and it could be both valid but... Ok, to the important scene, the melvin fight.
So, I had two different thoughts, first one, it showed the lack of one of the most important things for the Duffer Brothers in a relationship: comprehension, understandment. if u remembered J*ncy's fight, it started because they "didn't understand each other anymore" which was again the Melvin situation they had. This is caused by one of the things that the duffers brothers have mention, Mike and Eleven comes from different worlds, and therefore they can't be together and they can't understand each other, like a ghost and a Ghostbusters or E.T and Elliot, that Lucas and Erica's scene with the two toys... So, this is good for byler, right?
Well I noticed sth else that kind of scared me, this fight had an obvious St*ncy parallel, which was the "ily" thing. It shouldn't be bad, we had been given this St*ncy - Melvin parallels, just like we had j*ncy-byler parallels, but... This first volume showed us that... maybe j*ncy isn't the endgame couple so, this season kind of turned upsidedown (lol) the byler parallels proofs, or at least the J*ncy-Byler ones (which doesn't delete the Mike-Hopper ones that could be giving us anti-melvin proof still).
But again, the fact that J*ncy could not be endgame is another way of helping Byler (because all of the two brother thing¿? but they did it with El anyway-). Let's say that it makes things for Mike and Will much more easy and less weird to see for the audience.
And it is so funny to me because that's why I am so confused, they gave us proof telling us yes, and no HAHAHAH.
Another example of this is the "best friend" scene: Sr did u just asked him to be ur best friend when u are telling him he is the MOST SPECIAL person you had (LMAO where was that special Lucas-Mike relationship Dustin talked about??Things change ik, but still, it could be Byler proof, but not necessarily) and that he missed him so much eventhough you didn't called him more than 3 times (which would totally support that theory of the avoiding feelings. If you missed someone u would call them lol).
And, the part where Will tells Mike THAT quote, about telling the truth even if it hurts, we can't be sure if he's just reflecting his feelings about his confession onto Mike and El, or is a total foreshadowing of what is about to happen with this "ily" thing.
Another thing I was so surprised to see is that, Mike wasn't only reading the letter in front of that sign pointing at the closet, but IN the letter, it had rainbows on it, WTF (that is not only related to LGBT, but WILL and Will and Mike too (that rainbow heart draw from Mike's bassement in the very beginning of the 1st season??)
Even so, I felt like this season, everyone has used rainbows and it seemed like they didn't have a meaning anymore (Like Nancy's hair accesorie, or other clothes too).
I also wanted to point out that the roller rink byler fight had BLUE and YELLOW colors like----.
Another thought is that Mike's feelings have been shown as admirence towards El. The first scene where Dustin is talking to Mike about their girlfriends, Mike says that she saved the world and he only kept repeating that thought but, he didn't actually showed love, he showed again, admirance (that is why El wanted to keep being a superheroine, so he could keep Mike's feelings) throught out the season.
If you mix this with the fact that he can't say he loves her, the theory and interpretention of Mike avoiding Will and his feelings, and that Will's truth quote could be a foreshadowing, it could work for byler A LOT.
Also and I almost forgot to mention, the "it has always been" scene or sth like that), at the end it resulted in a Byler scene, and I wanted to remember the theory someone came up about the poster¿? thing in the back (the square one) that it was somehow (I don't remember how) connected to LGBT people again so, Byler in front of another LGBT icon? yeah.
That's why I am so confused rn, but I am still hopefull bcs of that "telling the truth" scene, and that it has this different proofs, so this doesn't confirm or deny anything.
And we still have to watch Mike's speech and Will's drawing which I am so excited about.
This is all so caotic but, as i am so confused rn, I can't put them together. But this post will help me to organize my ideas and split them one by one, I just wanted to take all these notes first.
So these were all my Byler thoughts through out the season, I am really looking foward to read yours.
PLUS: funny how Jonathan and Nancy have the same couple problems than Mike and El, lying.

He's waking up on a cold morning. He groaned into his pillow for a minute until finally getting up. Cold, cold, cold. He could go for some cocoa, if he had any. He's feeling around for some slippers, until eventually he gets fed up enough to just endure it. A roll of the back made the sound of popping fill the room. Tiptoeing around the upstairs of his room while he gets something to dress, he realized that his alarm didn't even wake him up. Why is he even up, then? He snatched his phone by his desk.
It's 4am.
He mentally kicks himself in the face. Of course he didn't notice the light of the phone was brighter than the sky. But it kept nagging at him. What woke him up?
A knock.
There's a knock on the door. Frantic rapping on the door downstairs.
Right.
He's shuffling some jeans and a shirt on as he heads down to answer. The knocking shifted to a more frantic hand pounding until he opened the door.
"It's 4 in the fucking–"
A damaged arm was in plain sight. It looked like it was hanging on by maybe two wires at most, and was now being supported by the other arm. Saint is opening his mouth to ask what even happened but the omnic pushed past him and through the door. Wordlessly he locks the door back up. He's still rubbing a bit of sleep out as he goes toward his little workshop.
Said workshop wasn't anything particularly special. If anything, he'd find that plenty of people would have probably tried to encourage him on getting a couple holo screens. He'd tell them that the holo screens aren't his own eyes. There's 3 workbenches that easily have all their drawers filled up to the brim. The only courtesy he gives himself is that they're labeled. Everything outside of the drawers however doesn't get that. If he wasn't busy, maybe he'd have a moment to care about cleaning everything.
If he wasn't busy at this moment, he'd think of something quippy to say. But he can't even find it in himself to do that.
He's already got his dirtied up tool belt tightening his waist. The omnic was waiting patiently on the operating table that was pushed a little off to the side. He even rotated it so the mechanic would have a better time working on the broken arm. He still tried to be polite, even when his arm was almost torn off.
"...Ramattra, what happened?" Saint finally asked when he started with gently taking off the exterior. The exterior metal needed to have some scratches buffed out, but otherwise seems fine. He did a quick look up the arm. Surprisingly, the interiors seemed pretty untouched. Really he just had to connect it all back together. He was guessing ahead just what might've happened. From how it looked, it seemed like someone pulled on it, rather than there being any bullets used.
"A rough encounter with a human." He sounded tired, forcing the words out so Saint wouldn't prod any further.
Saint nods slightly, setting back to work. The job isn't tricky by any means, but it was definitely delicate. If he messed up at any point he could easily make the situation worse. No pressure. Maybe a year ago he would've felt nervous. He's pulling out his heat gun for the wiring, and he laughs a bit to himself.
"What is it?" Ramattra asks, almost accusatory.
"No, nothing- just. Was thinking about how you didn't like the heat gun at first." Saint finds himself laughing again, gently applying to connect the wiring from the top of the arm to the center again.
"You never refer to it as anything else. How was I supposed to know initially it was a healing device?"
"I dunno…maybe because you definitely saw me healing other people with it."
"Other humans." He corrected. "I didn't know if it would work on omnics."
Saint rolled his eyes and started fitting the exterior back on. He found it was…easier. Especially now that he was relaxed. "I just thought it was funny. Things felt like they changed pretty fast. I mean- look." He's gesturing around as he pushes the arm in with a final click. "I think a bit ago I would've been having a terrifying time doing this. Thinking I might kill you by accident or something. But now…" He's fishing around for some cleaner and wipes. "Now I think I got at least a bit of an idea. Oh- did you. Want me to do a wipe down?"
Ramattra stares at Saint for a good, long while. And laughs.
"A bit ago you would have bickered with me." He lifts his arm up and down, twisting it around before seeming satisfied. "And you wouldn't be nearly as friendly." He didn't get up yet, instead swiveling so he was facing entirely toward the other. "Or would have offered any wipe downs." The aura of smugness could be felt like hot breath, centimeters away.
Saint finds himself flushed at that. "If you keep being a dickwad I might take that offer away." He mutters a bit, but he was already applying some cleaner to a rag. So Ramattra laughs again. "Hardy har. Why don't you keep quiet for a sec so I don't get mad…"
"Oh? Back to being mad? And here I thought you were finally being more honest."
Ramattra's sentence was as loaded as the Junker Queen's shotgun. It caused Saint to stagger. And sputter. He was a crashing computer. It took about 5 blinks before he could even talk again, but the most he could muster out was a weak "I'm sorry?"
Ramattra's head did a back and forth tilt, a visible eye roll for the omnic who didn't have any eyes to roll. "You can't be idiotic enough to think I would keep you around for so long if I didn't know how you feel."
Another loaded shotgun blast of a response. Saint was feeling lightheaded. Dizzy. He had been rubbing the cloth in the same area for the past 30 or so seconds. He decided it was best to just keep up the cleaning as if that didn't happen. Yes. That would be good- but he can't look at the other's face. No no, you can't do that. Even the idea was starting to make him feel like fainting.
The air of silence lasted perhaps a minute when Ramattra put a hand on Saint's, stopping the circles being rubbed into the arm. Warm. His hand was warm. Warm and big and he felt like everything would be okay.
"My attention is not won over by incompetent people." He started, words slow as if he was having to steel himself. His other hand is reaching towards Saint's empty one. He keeps going. "The only reason I have tolerated your attitude this far is because of. My own attractions."
"What?" Saint could barely feel his own voice creep out.
His hands were so warm.
He leans forward and finds himself resting his forehead against the omnic's. He could feel the quiet hums of electricity like it was breathing. Giant, hesitant hands were trying to see how best to hold his own tiny ones. Fidgeting and rubbing along the back. Nervous. Ramattra was nervous. "Please don't make me spell it out for you." He's saying, and Saint wonders if part of that was because of how nervous he was.
He likes him. Likes- loves. Just the word was getting Saint to be flustered again, but he found his face was already perfectly hot.
Saint mumbles it out.
Ramattra whirrs out a hum. Hands moved from hands to around the mechanic's waist.
Saint whispers it out.
"I. I love you."
"I love you." Ramattra returns in kind.
He wraps his own hands around Ramattra's head, burying his head into the other's neck. It wasn't an exchange that exploded into fireworks, or one that would set the two on fire. It was quiet. He was sure ants made bigger proclamations of love. But it was his. His love.
And as the two of them squeezed to get closer by centimeters, he figured that his love would have another time to explode.

But they were talking about Eddie and Johnathan having scenes together next season (I think) which keeps me thinking positively. But then is Steve gonna be okay??? Because if Steve dies then I’m also really not gonna be okay. If he ends up sacrificing himself for Nancy I’m gonna be so annoyed.
But also Noah spoiled that there will be multiple deaths in part two??? I’m so not ready. I’ve seen some theories saying Nancy might die? If she did, I want her to have like a talk with Barb kinda?? Like if she’s dying then I want her to be apologising to Barb and kinda like freeing herself of that guilt? Man I miss Barb.

>jack goes into "the flipside" and sees dave just kind of. chilling. jack is reasonably caught off guard and they have a neat little meet-cute where dave explains the flipside is where souls come to chill because of course theres a fucking place for that god damnit
(note you can get small dave commentaries by interacting with objects like posters or things on the wall or pizzas in the kitchen and i just think its cute)

ok its absolutely SENDING me how after the first kiss and ricky pulls back you can kinda see gina’s lipstick above his top lip and its just funny to me cause like obviously she has fuller lips than him so its inevitable skskskskgfdd but anyway they both look very blissful and breathless and enamored after kissing THAT IS TRUE LOVE!! sidenote that video of the confession and kiss with the audio removed…just a moment of silence because yeah music helped keep that scene pg friendly bc that scene can easily read as pg-14 without it.
also could you imagine if they give us a proper prom episode so we get to see ricky watch in complete awe as gina comes down the stairs in her dress and he goes ‘wow.’ IMAGINE THE ROMCOMIFICATION!!! and like she pins his little flower that coordinates with her dress to the lapel and her hands are shaking out of the good kind of nervousness so he puts his over hers and they share a look before pressing their foreheads together and he finishes it for her. and then they take a million pics in the foyer of gina’s house and wouldn’t it be sweet if ms. porter, mr. bowen AND ms. bowen was there along with todd because they can coexist more peacefully after this summer. so they are surrounded by their loved ones WHILE BEING IN A TOTAL LOVE BUBBLE OF THEIR OWN.

However on other disney shows they’ve definitely had adult/jokes themes (good luck Charlie for example) and it still stayed at a G rating? You absolutely deserve two cupcakes for the delusion!! I am BEGGING Tim to give us “a night to remember”. Like SO much. So we see all the girls and guys dressing up and then maybe we see rina as an actual pick up date for prom scene (like you suggested). And it would absolutely be a repeat of camp prom where ricky chokes on his own spit when he sees her 😂 and then they take all the cute pictures and you can just see how NERVOUS ricky is. Like he’s been dating her for so long yet he is an absolute mess trying to put her corsage on and open all her doors and stuff. Then gina just opens her own door at some point (it’s me, I’m gina- I’m an absolute nuisance on dates because I hate when guys open my door 😂). And the Seblos royalty is so cute and absolutely as it should be!!! They have their own little first dance and then everyone else joins in 🥹 that would be so sweet. That dress would be SO pretty on her!!!! Ooh and maybe with hair like her Anna braid updo?? Literally show stopping. I could also see her in a small dress with a slit at the torso or a long two piece dress. Heck doesn’t matter it’s Sofia Wylie she could literally wear a garbage bag and we would all be jealous.
I CANNOT WAIT to see rina as a love sick couple it’s the ONLY time I allow cheese on my screen!!! You should read my Christmas Fic in the “my writings” in my bio. I made a whole plot around ricky getting a scarf from gina ;) (this was in between s1 and s2 when I wrote it but it was still cute :))… New Years eve fic is pt. 2 to the Christmas one if you want to read that as well. 😊 and can you imagine the cute screen savers?? I have a feeling gina would have a cute coupley photo as hers but ricky would just have pictures of her because he’s sick and in love. GOD HDHDHR your post on a firekit made me think like. no one outside thunderclan would touch the name for a while with how synonymous fire- is with firestar and by extension thunderclan and then in clan everyone doesnt quite want to use it yet, it's too soon. however could you IMAGINE the scenes if finchlight named a kit firekit if she gets the fate of 90% of female warrior background cats and inexplicably given a mate and litter in the arc after this. just with the themes they are going for i dont think they would but also i would not be surprised in the slightest since the erins have made weirder decisions before. nightheart just sat there like but sis my whole arc <\3 dont do it <\3 and finchlight like im sorry king the writing team forgor

this isn’t quite the same, but the cinderlion kits having legacy names seems out of character for cinderheart since her whole crisis was not knowing if she was herself or cinderpelt or both. like if I were her I don’t think I’d want to take a chance of that happens again (or giving starclan an excuse to reincarnate some other cat into a kit who shares their name lol)
on the other hand: full background character hollytuft waking up one morning with memories of the murder of ashfur is so fun...
especially since iirc the truth about ashfur’s death never comes out in thunderclan? hollyleaf starts to confess, bramblestar covers it up for her and tells the clan it was an accident, and as far as thunderclan as a whole knows that’s the truth.
I think I’m coming up with an au where legacy naming solves an unsolved murder mystery and I’m kinda here for it

okay. confession. part of the reason i haven't updated anything in so long is because:
a. i had no energy for a while
b. i regained energy, but by that point it had been long enough that i got the itchy feeling of needing to edit/revise all my wips before continuing them. i know that's silly. i don't know if anyone else does that. if i spend too long between updates, i have to go back and edit all the older stuff before i can even think of writing new stuff. in the past, this has been bad as "the gap was too long between chapter 5 and chapter 6, so i have to edit chapters 1-4. oops, the gap was too long between chapters 2 and 3 and now i have to edit 1 and 2 again before i edit 3-6 before i write 7. something is wrong with me!
c. this i think is actual writing advice that i got from Somewhere. or maybe there's another thing wrong with me. either way: the way i edit is by retyping the whole thing and figuring out things i want to change/spotting mistakes as i go, rather than reading it over, where i skim and skip over things.
d. i have generally had less time to write than i did before.
if you've ever gone back and reread a fic i wrote, you might have noticed stuff changing (it's never anything major. usually it's a paragraph or two being cut, added, or replaced. what i'm about to share is probably the biggest edit i've done in a bit.
anyway, rn im rewriting the opening scene of "like the strength of an army", and my weird process wound up with a change that i really do like.
Emily cleared her throat. "Hey, Reid?"
"Hm?" He didn't look up from his new file.
"Lunch is in twenty."
This did get his attention. He raised his head and glanced at his watch, eyebrows shooting up. Hm. Reid usually had a clock running in his head. For him to have lost track of the time... "Oh. Uh, okay." He blinked and went back to the file, apparently not catching the invitation in the statement.
Of course. Silly her. Reid would never believe that anyone would like him enough to voluntarily spend time with him. He needed to be smacked in the face with a social cue if he was to notice it. "You. Me. Indian food. Twenty minutes." That should do it.
I realised as I was rewriting that I didn't like the original exchange that was in place of the last two paragraphs. it read as being too long because it had five lines of dialogue, interrupted the flow, and served mostly as a reference to a line from canon i think is funny. that's not a good enough reason to exist at the expense of the pacing! so. that'll change...within the next few days. i'm sorry, i flipflop what i'm revising/working on from day to day. because there's something wrong with me.
maybe feel slightly comforted to know that i'm restraining myself from starting another wip until SOMETHING is marked as complete.
lmao nobody is reading this. i'm yelling into the void about my incredibly strange writing/revising process that makes me take eons to update. thank you for listening, void.
