pairing. spider-man!jake x gn!reader genre. fluff + hcs notes. had to make this bc i’ve been a spider-man fan for like 2827282 years and i love jake sooooo ! wc. 1.4k

• EVEN though he’s a wall crawling superhero who can stop a bus with his bare hands, spider-man jake is a complete nerd who can’t pull a girl. despite his charming good looks and gorgeous smile, he is avoided like the plague (like all spider-man movies which makes no sense bc they’re hot !!!)

• but somehow, he was able to get your attention. you, the person who was liked and envied by a lot of people in school. you were on track to a good college and had a stellar internship at oscorp. you were absolutely perfect in jake’s eyes- and he was in yours.

• jake never made the first move with you, too scared of rejection. he was surprised when you suddenly spoke to him one day, asking if he was okay after getting into an altercation with flash thompson. “you know my name?” he stuttered, blushing when you laughed at the question. “well of course, but i just wanted to make sure you knew your name. seemed like you hit your head pretty hard.”

• after that it seemed as if the two of you ran into each other everywhere. on the street, in the library and even this one cafe that jake often went to. this helped jake get to know you more and fall even more in love with you.

• jake was always flustered around you and you noticed it. his ears or cheeks were red when you directed your attention onto him and you picked up on his nervous habit of playing with his glasses. it was adorable and made you constantly question why none of the girls in your school wanted him.

• whenever the two of you would study at the library, jake had trouble keeping his eyes off you. you were so pretty when focused and it just made his heart flutter. when you became so tired to where your eyes started drooping, jake began to finish your homework for you. you scolded him for it, but he didn’t mind, wanting to help you out in any way he could.

• your first date with jake was a disaster when the boy forgot his own strength out of nerves and collapses the table you were about to eat dinner on. jake made an amazing home cooked meal for the both of you at his aunts place for your first date. he felt embarrassed about not being able to take you anywhere fancy but you brushed it off and gushed about how romantic he was. unfortunately jake had no idea how to act normal around you and caused the dinning table to break. you were in shock that the legs gave out simply by him leaning on it, but jake just assured you that it was a really old table.

• when the two of you became official, jake desperately wanted to tell you his secret, but he also doesn’t want to put you in danger. it was hard to keep making excuses, but he couldn’t get you involved in his dangerous lifestyle. you started to become suspicious and a bit insecure in the relationship. all you wanted was for jake to trust you, not understanding why he wouldn’t tell you what was going on with him.

• when you’ve had enough and tell the boy that you need a break, he nearly looses his shit. jake was hoping to stay in a relationship with you without having to mention his alter-ego, but he soon realized that was a stupid dream. later that night he ended up knocking on your window as spider-man which was honestly terrifying from your perspective. you thought that maybe you had done something illegal and he was going to take you in. as soon as you opened the window, you began to word vomit.

“i know i should’ve watched the movie in theaters instead of an illegal website but im saving my money for this new purse i want!”

“huh?”

• jake takes his mask off in the midst of your rambling, causing you to stop short. your jaw was on the floor for about a minute and the silence made jake was to take a dive out of your window. before you could speak, he began to explain everything, reassuring you that the lie had been tearing him apart inside. he had only wanted to protect you. you cut off his rambling with a kiss, telling the boy that you forgave him and that it was killing you to be away from him.

• you had a lot of questions about his powers, wanting to know what exactly he could do. it always made you giggle to see him stick to the ceiling so he would often do that when you were sad. seeing that cute smile on your face was enough to make his whole day.

• jake offered to take you swinging around the city one day but you denied him at first. you weren’t too big on heights and was terrified that he would drop you. “i’m the strongest man in the world how could i drop you?” he asked, making you roll your eyes and grudgingly agree. turns out— the experience was terrifying and jake accidentally released you from his hold mid air. he caught you shortly after, but the mini free fall you took made you demand that he take you to the ground. you didn’t talk to him for about an hour afterwards until he bought you your favorite ice cream.

• jake is the definition of golden retriever. it’s insane how bubbly and giddy this man is…does he ever get mad?? you often wonder. even with all the stress he’s under from being spider-man he’s just so happy. he claims it’s because you’re now in his life.

• one time jake crawled into your room, badly bruised and bloodied causing you to freak out. you immediately dropped your homework on your bed, racing over to the boy. he flashed you a weak smile as you set him up in your desk chair, trying to reassure you, but it was useless. as you fixed him up with whatever you could find in your first aid kit, you scolded him about not being more careful. he stayed silent and took it, knowing that you cared about him deeply and hated to see him in such a condition.

• randomly one night you asked why he still wore glasses even though his eyesight had been fixed after the spider bite. he claimed that it reminded him of how his life used to be, and he found comfort in the normalcy of it. you could never understand, but you emphasized and told him that the look was very attractive. jake couldn’t hide the blush that spread across his face.

• this boy’s metabolism is absolutely insane. if you cook dinner for the both of you, he has about four servings before he’s finally full. he’ll also eat all the snacks in your fridge, so it’s best to not get too attached to whatever’s in your fridge. it’s astounding to you how he still manages to keep his body the same, but you assume it’s because of his powers.

• he will go on the nerdiest rants ever and because you love jake so much, you listen. when it happens to be about physics or math, you kind of tune out, focusing on his puppy dog eyes and pouty lips. sometimes if he starts to ramble, you’ll lean over and kiss him, making the boy’s face flush red.

• patching jake up after his patrol usually ends up with the two of you making out on the floor. it doesn’t go very far when jake starts wincing because of whatever pain he is in, but you love the feeling of his lips on yours whatever chance you get.

• he almost lost you to one of the villains he was fighting and it had to have been the scariest experience of his life. jake could never imagine life without you, and seeing you injured simply because you knew spider-man made his head hurt. you tried reassuring him that you were alright multiple times, but jake didn’t listen as he cried and held you in his arms. it was a close call, and he wouldn’t have it happen again.

• despite his busy schedule with school and spider-man duties, he tries his best to make time for you and spoils you rotten when he can. he’s such a sweetheart and lives for the smile on your face whenever you see him.

• spider-man jake is truly the best boyfriend you could ever ask for.

in detail :

ohmygod that boston nick confrontation scene was sooooo good...both mark with his hurt and neo with his anger...and all the other underlying emotions all coming to a head...gosh they killed it...i was on the edge of my seat through out!!!

ohemgee and right after that we get that top and mew scene!!! its just the 1st part of the episode but the acting has been phenomenal. force in this portion especially...SO DAMN EMOTIVE just with his eyes. i LOVE IT

okay as much as i LOVE khao and i know its not a huge thing but i cant accept his free movement of his injured hand like that...is is just for show within the show's universe itself so he isnt really hurt cos how could he make such an acting choice otherwise

Heyo! dont worry, it isn't, but you didn't specify, so I will assume you asked for Headcanons? Nevertheless, Im really happy you like my writing it means a lot. (Also, I am so so very sorry it took so long, I got really busy.) Now we got that over, let's continue.

General Vicious x Reader headcaons for a clingy reader

(Plus, some ranting on my analysis of this man).

(Brooding bitch)

●Vicious would be both surprised and confused by your behavior, but as he slowly gets used to it, he will be less whiney about it and more inclined to like it.

●If you two are alone, Vicious might let you play with his hair. This could be braiding it, styling it, or maybe putting flowers in his hair. Just dont tell anyone. It is your two's secret.

●The easiest way to make this man melt in your arms is if you run your fingers in his hair. It is also the easiest way to get him to cuddle with you.

●speaking of cuddling, I could see Vicious letting you snuggle up to him when he is at your place (or vise versa). Holding you slowly became one of Vicious's favorite things. In short, it makes him feel needed

●He will definitely hold when you need comfort or give you some sort of affection. The only issue with this is that he hasnt received or given a lot of affection in a long time, so it will be awkward at first.

●There are times when Vicious doesn't feel safe, possibly from a nightmare or getting a flashback, and in these times, he might hold you if you two are alone. Strangely, if you are in his arms, he feels like he can keep you safe and protect you better. Also, it does comfort him by making him feel more calm and secure, but if he actually thinks you are in danger, he will be up and on guard.

●Vicious would be very confused about how to handle your clinginess. The most clingy person he had to deal with was Gren, but they were in war, so that one is self-explanatory. Granted that, once he gets the hang of it, he'll be able to squeeze you tight.

●That brings me to my next point. Besides his confusion, Vicious would never admit it, but he likes having you around. Although, you would need to give him his space form time to time.

●He would also tease you about your clingy behavior. He doesn't really understand why you want to be with him so much since well, to be honest, he knows he isn't a good person. Despite this, Vicious is very lonely (If you ask him if he is lonely, he will deny it) from how much self isolation he goes through, so you do fill a need.

●If you start to give someone else more affection or attention, Vicious will definitely get jealous. Though he will never say it out loud, because the fucker isn't good with emotions. He will just give the other person the death stare and hella judge them, and if you start to do it in front of him, it won't be long until he starts to place his hand on your shoulder, arm, ect . He knows he is a bit possessive (that's an understatement), but he doesn't really fix it (and care to fix it), or know how to ask for reassurance.

So uhh well there are two sections to these Headcanons because I realized you probably wanted something a little more wholesome, but I was already too deep in writing this. This is less of Headcanons and just me ranting about my analysis of this traumatized man. Sooooo you dont have to continue but if do i hope you like it.

●As I've said before in a previous post and up above, Vicious would one hundred percent be shocked by your behavior, now let me elborate on that thought. As a kid, he barely got any attention or affection, and when he got older, the only people he did get any from of affection were Julia and Spike. So naturally, Vicious wouldn't know what to do.

●I could imagine Vicious feeling a bit threatened at first. Since affection is usually an act where you have to be at least a little vulnerable, and obviously, being vulnerable with people isn't his strong suit. Which could bring him to be defensive and get a little hostile if you were to do it randomly or in public.

●Eventually, Vicious would get used to your affection. Although, he would be a little awkward in the beginning, but if you give him some time, he'd get the hang of it. Of course, absolute melt behind closed doors.

●However, his response to clinginess is where it would get interesting. While I do think he would have a similar response to clinginess as he would to general affection. On the other hand, I think it would have a bit more twists and turns. He would still absolutely feel threatened, but his reasons for being so vary a little. One of which is that he would not understand why you are doing this and why you want to. He might even think you may have some ill intention with it.

●despite this fact, he would be less hostile and more cranky to the way you cling to him. He might grumble, but he won't complain. Ultimately, Vicious would like having you around. He would come to find having someone give you an extreme amount of affection, and attention is actually sweet. He definitely would like the fact that you follow him around like a lost puppy because it makes him feel needed.

●Once Vicious starts to realize he does infact like your affection and clinginess, not only that but crave your presence. Vicious would feel some sort of attachment to you and likely push you away out of fear of getting hurt again. He would try to cut things off (possibly in a horrible way). Any form of attachment makes him terrified because of what happened in the past or perhaps what he'd tell himself, "A means to an end" and "Just distracted me from my work," to try to forget the actual genuine relationship you two had.

●Obviously, this very well would ruin the relationship, but if you were to be persistent and continue to cling to him, it might result in a really bad fight. One of the ways Vicious would only realize that you truly care about him if he had made you cry in said fight. Which two things could happen.

●The less likely option would be if Vicious went to comfort you (bitch boy realized he fucked up bad) and just ended up breaking down with you. After both of you finished your crying session (it would would be a first in a very long time for Vicious), you might be able to salvage the relationship.

●The more likely option would be Vicious walking out because he did realize he fucked up, but now he has no idea what to do. (Dont worry, he'll have a mental breakdown at home, so you get that for revenge). He is absolutely horrible at apologies, so he will avoid you. Heres the catcher though, he will repeatedly send you gifts at your door as his (shit) apology. When you confront him about it, he still won't know what to do, but you two may have a chance of in some manner solving the issue.

●Where you take some, you also lose some when it comes to this man. if you are able to be civil with each other and keep the relationship, congrats, you now have a guard dog, but you also have a bastard who is very overprotective. As He would take care of you now because he knows you do care about him, he would also be doing it to get you to stay. Vicious doesn't occur me to be very verbally manipulative in the moment, but he is situationally manipulative.

●He would never admit it, but he does need you and is petrified by that fact, and he is still worried you will leave him one day (as you should). So maybe subconsciously, he will do everything in his power to take care of you. The more you rely on him, the more you need him, and the less likely you will leave. (It is sad)

●It isn't all bad, though (kinda). Some of his actions are genuine. Contrary to popular belief, Vicious does have heart, but he doesn't use it often (fucking emotionally constipated bastard). In his own twisted way, he does deeply care about you. However, I would personally reflect on what he is doing and why before making sure if it is genuine. Good luck, though! You'll need it

I finally finished Succession and OMG IT'S SOOOOO GOOD!!!!!! The twist at the end of s3 had me shooketh haha, I literally gasped and had my mouth hanging open in shock. Shouldn't have been surprised, but I was. Shiv, Roman, and Kendell were done so dirty and by both of their parents, yikes. I loved it, I love the show, it made me laugh and cry/tear up, etc and I need a s4 asap!! Does anyone know when s4 is coming out?? I tried looking it up before and wasn't really given a specific date so Im not sure. I hope it's soon though!!?!!

I really hope the show makes Tom and Greg's dynamic/relationship romantic. Sure their dynamic hasn't always been the greatest in a way but I love them, TomGreg was the reason I wanted to watch the show in general. I watched for them but then loved the show and watched because of that as well. I love shows like that where you can enjoy the ship and the show. I think it would be a hugely missed opportunity if they don't go a romantic route with them though. Not to mention the chemistry is amazing and it'd be hella great to see everyone react when and if Tom gets with cousin Greg haha. Plus like I've said, Tom is the most queer coded character I have ever seen. Why have him be portrayed that way unless he's gay or bi!!?? Fingers crossed for canon Tomgreg. Also I would love to see more of a Connor, Tom, and Greg Trio friendship. We got a little bit of it during Tom's bachelor party under the tunnel near the rat (I believe) and think it would just be comedic gold to have those three interact more. I doubt we'll get it after Tom's betrayal but one can hope! Also since I'm speaking of Connor, I feel bad for him cause of the whole Willa situation. Like at times I feel like maybe she does like or love him but then other times it feels like she's using him or whatnot and so I feel bad for him.

When I first started watching the show my favorite characters were Kendall, Tom, Greg, and Frank, even though we didn't get much of him. He just seemed so likable or had a likable face. I feel like in some ways he kind of reminded me of Bill from Killing Eve. Frank I feel like is the "Bill" of Succession. I also liked Connor, I thought he seemed the most mellow and mature but boy was I wrong haha. He's great though. I wasn't too fond of Roman and Shiv at first, especially with how Roman treated and taunted that kid during the first episode at the baseball game. And Shiv because of the whole situation with Greg and his $20, and how she treats Tom. As time went on though I ended up slightly disliking Kendall and liking the others more, but ya now I pretty much like all of them. Logan's a prick but I even like him cause he adds extra tension and drama to the series.

Am I the only one hoping in the next coming season or couple seasons that we get flashbacks of Shiv, Roman, Conner and Kendall when they were kids?! And a prequel series of Logan and his family and upbringing!!!???? I'm so intrigued and would like to see both of these things happen in some aspect.

A Morning With Viktor Hargreeves

A/N: Hi! I'm Mx. Potter. This is my first time writing for The Umbrella Academy(and most likely will not be my last cause i love this show a lot). I am obessed in love with Viktor/Elliot. If any of you have any request for him please dm me! I would love to write some more for him or any of the other characters! Or if you have any other requests in general theres a previous post with the shows that I do(and im planning on writing some for the new show The Sandman on Netflix(please watch it! its sooooo good!) Anyways I'm rambling. But I hope you enjoy this!

Summary: Nothing much going on just a little fluffy morning with Viktor

Warnings: None that i know of(theres a mention of house smoke and kisses i dont think that it needs a warning but just in case)

"Y/N?" You heard a soft voice call out to you. You mumbled something a little unintelligible and scuttled closer to the pillow you tightly had in your arms. A second passes by and you hear the shuffling of footsteps gentle yet filled with determination as they fill the quiet essence of the reverberating room.

You and Viktor just moved into this apartment staying at his old place for a while and with us working extra, we were shocked(yet not surprised) that the both of you could pull through and afford it. It still needs some decor to make it more; 'us' you both thought.

Today was our day that you and Viktor could have to yourselves.

"Y/NNNNNN" The voice dragged on and lightly shook your body that was under the trance of your slumber. You mumbled a little louder with a hint of annoyance fervent clear and apparent in your voice. The footsteps descended away from the bed as you slightly opened your eyes just enough to see Viktor shamble his way to the abnormally large window with a small window seat that perfectly sits two people.

He pulls both curtains open with a gentle force to not blind you nor himself in the process. You squinted almost immediately, and pulled the duvet over your head. "Noooooo!" you said just above a whisper but a little below a shout. He chuckled and peared the blanket off of your face. "Come on! I want to see that pretty smile!" he says to you adoringly. You pull the blankets up even more to try and hide your flustered face.

"I made breakfast!" You quickly sat up. "Really?" You questioned him. He nodded lightly. "Is it cereal?"

"Wowww!" He replied and gasped dramatically. "Is my cooking really that bad?" he interrogated back completely flabbergasted. "I don't know...tell that to the kitchen, my favorite pot that turned jet black and to the whole building that had to evacuate, cause there was so much smoke." You stated with your arms crossed and a smug grin evidently plastered on your face.

"How do you remember that? It was a while ago!"

"It was literally a week ago." You spat. Viktor then playfully scoffed.

You would've responded but you were already fast asleep with a smile loosely draped over your face.

-these dramatic ass writers making us all go through a "I dont want to lose anything else i love" then having THE ONE WHO SAID IT GET SHOT LATER!!! UGH!!! props. it was good. i was shocked as hell the first watch

-At least they didn't repeat the sets for the comas as funny as that could've been

-carlos baby don't worry this isn't even the worst coma he gets into!! which is... great!

-liv has suuuuuuuch a good singing voice ugh

-carlos just has all these big feelings he wants this boy to let him feel but there isn't anything he can do but sit there WITH HIS THUMB UNDER THE SLEEVE ALL INTIMATE AND SHIT AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

almost at the end... damn. I forgot how hooked I was with this show from the start it's been so long since I watched these, this rewatch is fun as hell!!

i know someone said what if h got a haircut he didn’t like… but what if it were angel:( like she didn’t tell h she had made an appointment because she wanted to surprise him and she’s all excited going into it but the hairdresser cuts a bit more than she wanted and with the way they styled it she just doesn’t feel like herself. like it’s styled the way her mom always wanted her to wear her hair and she hasn’t had hair this short since she was living at home and she’s just :( not recognizing herself and feeling sad about it. but she’s scared to say anything so she thanks the hairdresser and says it looks nice and goes home and puts it immediately into a tight bun so she doesn’t have to think about it and can calm herself down:( but h stops over after work and is immediately ?? because her buns haven’t looked like that since when he had first met her and she was still trying to be who her parents told her to be, and when she says hi to him her smile doesn’t reach her eyes so he knows something’s up and he’s “is everything okay, angel?” and she’s welling up immediately bc it’s been a bad day and someone asking what’s wrong just pushes her over the edge and so she tells him what happened and after holding her to his chest and calming her down for a while he’s “can we take the bun out, baby? can I see?” and she’d do anything for him so she’s nodding and he lets it down and he’s running his fingers through it and “it’s not bad at all baby, it’s just not styled how you like!!” and he leads her to the bathroom and dampens her hair a little bit and does his best to style it how he’s seen her do it a million times before and “there you go, angel! look more like yourself now, huh?” and she’s shocked bc he’s right!! like yes it’s a little shorter than she wanted but now she looks a lot more like herself and shes a lot less anxious and sad and she’s throwing herself at him and is teary again bc she loves him so much and “thank you, thank you h” 🥺 and “anything for you, baby. always look so beautiful” ugh my heart 🐢

I WANTED TO DO SNAPSHOTS SO BAD but i alread spent over 300 on the trip (tickets themselves + hotel room + gas to get there) so i couldnt buy them BUT when i gave them all the keyrings they were sooooo sweet about it and looked so surprised that i was giving them something that wasnt a letter ToT

changmin said it was pretty and dongil said that the picture i used was cute (one side was them after they debuted and the other were the pics of them when they were kids that they posted for childrens day). my hands were shaking A Lot and almost every member held my hand when i gave them the keychains telling me i shouldnt be nervous. they looked genuinely worried and i dont blame them bc i felt like i was gonna pass out (and i started crying afterword afshbkdj) and i think they recognized me when i went back back up to do the high five + group photo bc changmin asked me if i was okay now TT (tho to be fair having bright purple hair + giving them a gift + on the verge of tears/passing out + being one of the only ppl to talk to them in korean might have contributed to that...)

also maknae line were sosososo sweet and cute. i told junseo that hes really pretty and he looked so surprised and asked 'really?' and all i could do was say yes bc the staff were starting to get upset that i was taking .5 seconds longer than i should have (even tho DKB were the ones holding my hands what did they want me to do snatch my hand away? afjshk). yuku had the brightest smile and harry june asked if i was nervous and when i told him yes he looked so worried and said 'dont be nervous!'

when we did the group photo all in was playing and me and the girl next to me started dancing and singing along before the photo and heechan turned around in surprise as if us knowing the song was a shock afhsbk but he looked so happy so see us vibing with the song and he started dancing in his seat too it was cute

also like. i dont know how to describe it but they are soooo attractive in person. photos dont do any of them justice at all. im sure u saw bc u did snapshots with some of them lol but junseo.... god i just want to tell him how handsome he is that he shouldnt listen to those ppl who tell him otherwise and that we will love him no matter what... iirc him and changmin were the only members taller than me but to be 100% honest i was too focused on not bawling my eyes out in front of them to notice much on that front lol (but i do remember yuku and lune being so tiny and cute and all of their hands were smaller than mine ashkj)

i wish i had more time to talk to them to tell them how amazing and talented they are and how proud bbs are of them but the staff were really pushy with trying to get the fansign line moving. i get it, there were a lot of us, but a guy can dream. even though the time was short they really tried their best to comfort me in the time we did have and that meant a lot <3

ALSO slightly off topic but the main reason i was close to passing out was bc of how hot the venue was while waiting for the fansign. i was sweating so bad before during and after the concert so i got some water from the bar (four fucking dollars 😒) and i talked to the bartenders for a bit. according to them, the boys were super nice and sweet and like. ofc as bbs we think that the boys are kind but hearing from someone that has no emotional connection to them and interacts with hundreds of celebrities throughout the year that dkb are sweet boys... it just.. its nice. its nice to see that theyre kind to people who are outside of the fandom bc sadly thats not the norm for every group

ahhhhhh i'm here to report that i just binge watched love class s02 and i love love LOVED it sooooo much!!!!

it started off on one genre but ended up with so much fluff i could barely give my leg a rest from being hit against the bed with how adorable i was finding every single thing.

it really was so warm and fuzzy to watch, i was DYINGG of joy.

continuous fluff can be boring for some, and im not saying the show is entirely like that at all, but there are stretched bits of time like that, and i was shook at just how much i enjoyed all of it. the couples had great chemistry with each other and made even the smallest of things look cute. i constantly was being surprised at things i was finding adorable.

also there was a very extended making out -> implicit sex scene, i couldnt believe my eyes, not cos of how scandalous it got (it didn't) but just because it was very long and i can't remember watching any such scene for such an extended duration from ANY country let alone korea so that did leave me shocked. in a good way mostly.

For most parts i LOVED the show.

LOVED the friend group (wish i got to see more of it)

LOVED how almost every single person was gay (If im not wrong we never see korea do that so that was extra special xD)

LOVED almost all the tropes employed. Some of them with some delightful twists that i wont spoil except to say that I thoroughly enjoyed all of it. The second half of the show especially, when things started clicking in to place and working out one by one.

But most of all i LOVED the depiction of unabashed queer love, queer joy and freedom.

I'm definitely adding the show to my rewatch list.

So to conclude, Love Class 2 was a real pleasure to watch, i'm so glad i binged it <3

Absolutely INVU! The album is great, though I don't listen to slower songs that often, but I can play the whole album and be happy <3 I'm usually not the one to bitch about "X is the worst year in kpop" especially since lots of comebacks are coming, but something about this year hits less. We got some gems obviously, but a lot of groups disappoint. I loved the whole Oddinary which is shocking, hopefully same things happens with Movement
