danny phantom episode 4-7 Thoughts: (under a readmore because, these got kinda long!)
-the outfit danny had to buy for dash's party. CLASSIC 2000S i cannot stop laughing. And also showing up to the party and everyone is dressed like the trio is hilarious. and further proof that everyone looks good dressed goth.
-dash has a closet full of cute lil bear plushies?? LOVE that. adorable. also his response to danny trashing his room fighting a ghost was SO valid if somone BROKE MY BED IN HALF ID BE PISSED TOO.
-technus being like 'oh smart, u should be a tutor!' then later being like 'forget tutor, be a teacher!' :) supportive king <3 I also really like his upgraded suit/design. AND SPOCK CAMEO??? HELLO??
-the music in this show is super. its so funky. I looked it up and the guy who does it, guy moon (awesome name) also did music for other cartoons like fairly odd parents, barnyard, chalkzone, billy & mandy, AND some actual movies like FIGHT CLUB??? the whiplash I got from reading that)
-sam being rich explains a lot about her, actually.
-I know the moral of the episode was supposed to be 'dont ditch your friends for popular people/spend a lot of money on clothes that arent You to Fit In'. but tbh. it wouldve been easy for danny to have been like 'well, okay, ill come but only if my friends can!' but I get. that hes 14. so. not a lot to say there.
-BOX GHOST IS BACK!!!!! also, danny sitting up and wearing the dress/wig/makeup. umm thats how I dress everyday LMFAO. unironically me. (hate the jokes that boil down to 'haha funney man in dress' tho. but this is a look)
-jazz being protective of her brother once again being like NOOO YOU GUYS BETTER NOT STAKE OUT HIS (actually haunted) LOCKER!! shes aware of how people perceive him and she wants to help :( which is also probably why she told dash to invite him to that party even tho she had no interest in going!! she wants to help him out :(
-gotta say im with tucker on the whole 'should danny use his powers to get back at bullies' debate. 100% yes. let him teach kids to fight back. making dash throw his food at paulina out of the blue? no. but when hes actually about to pick on someone? yeah! for self defense? YEAH! if dash and his friends just threw food at him, I think rather than. idk doing sneaky shit with frogs he couldve just threw it back and not pulled punches if they tried to fight. I kNOOWWW its a kids show so they are like 'if u fight back ur just as bad!! violence bad!!' but. theyre HIS POWERS. WHO CARES.
-like my only gripe is that dash really isnt LEARNING ANYTHING WHEN DANNY GETS BACK AT HIM IN THE MOST PETTY INDIRECT WAYS. whatever they had to add a bully psa episode I guess. I hate it and I hate the way cartoons usually handle it because these methods simply Do Not Work. 'aND YouRE USinG YOur poWErs FOR EVill???!' this is Not Evil. even when poindexter takes dannys body, theyre only being 'nice' bc hes stealing soda for them!! bitches deserve what they get (nothing too brutal bc theyre high schoolers but damn, if they pick on danny he doesnt need to be the 'bigger person' he needs to start biting people)
-SAM TRYING TO SMUGGLE FROGS OUT OF THE BIO LAB?? girl in middle school when we had to dissect frogs we could opt out, also, they came to us already dead and preserved...
-sidney's lingo and the fact hes in black and white is sending me. also, danny is a ghost celebrity apparently for being a halfa?? ok. thats interesting to know
-the DENTIST BEING EXCITED ABOUT THE COTTON CANDY FLOOD IS THE FUNNIEST THING SO FAR.
-I LOOOVE the trope of 'wishes gone wrong'. not crazy about the stereotypical genie, or the use of the dreamcatcher looking design. (also, I KNOW theyre scientists but the way theyre handling a cold...are the fentons ANTIVAX)
-the genie. she. whitewished paulina. JKASDFHKJ. (the ghost literally just being hello kitty???? im dying) 'why do i feel that im special and wonderful? because I AM! <3' paulina ilu self worth queen. felt bad for her also getting possessed by (2) boys later who were arguing INSIDE HER. WTF.
-imagine being the guy trapped in his now flying car. he thought danny and tucker were HALUCINATIONS. imagine being trapped in a flying car with two, what you think are imaginary arguing 14 year olds convinced ur gonna die. i WOULD say this dude is gonna need so much therapy, but he seemed totally fine and excited when they landed (I would be happy too if a chicken was on my head. chickens rule) stoner rights

-I think desiree's backstory is so :( do all ghosts have messed up sad backstories?? poindexter's was sad too...cannot imagine box ghost has any kind of fucked up backstory. but what if. his mom got pushed off cliffs by boxes...........a la cruella... anyway her 'no man may lay a hand on me' iconic. ilu
-I know danny has no concept of how much bras cost but my god dont attack tucker with some girls bra. those are so expensive.
-its really. well its not a GOOD THING he went into the portal and got fucked up, but its good danny was the one to do it rather than sam or tucker. because even tho he was being influenced by desiree and kept getting more malicious and it prob wasnt 100% him...he sucked as a ghost like most the people he 'pranked' were innocent ppl just Chillin and he didnt want to help anyone at all. I think danny is the most responsible out of them but also, hes 14 and shouldnt HAVE to feel obligated to fight every ghost. hes a good kid and wants to, but I also feel like he feels like...responsible for the portal turning on?? because his parents did give it up,, but it was an accident and not his fault (if anything, why was the on switch on the inside. why was it that easy. why was there no safety measures. that seems like smth OSHA needs to hear about). like thats my son. hes a good boy. and hes never done anything wrong in his life, ever. if anyone hurts him im killing everyone in this room and then myself. etc.
-danny's curfew is 10PM????? DUDE. when I was 14...shit I couldn't be out that late, I had to be back at like, 8 at the latest, and my parents had to know exactly where and who I was going with, AND i had to call/text them regularly...is this a case of my parents being overbearing, or the fentons sucking??? the only time i could EVER be out that late was if I was at an overnight sleepover or smth...
-the vultures have lil fezes. why do they have fezes...theyre so fuckin funny 'ask him for directions' 'I KNOW WHERE IM GOING' these ghost vultures are my new grandpas. pick them up, put them in the adopt box.
-'I wonder why those guys were trying to waste dad!' THEYRE GHOSTS. YOUR DAD HUNTS GHOSTS. why is that not a conclusion you'd immediately jump to??

-mrs fenton with the lab coat and leg warmers and PERM. YESSS STYLISH.
-was going to say 'ew billionaire' @vlad but. super valid he used his powers to assumedly steal and cheat to get that money, thats how all billionaires do it! but ew hes a SIMP. and spending your billions on FOOTBALL STUFF?? you are Not Valid overall. I DO respect the fact you have a castle instead of a mansion. in wisconsin. if youre going to be stupidly rich might as well go all out, torches on the wall and all. -I thought vlad's 'little badger' nickname for danny came from the football mascot of the packers, but google says they have NO MASCOT?? so now I'm like?? is it because his hair is sometimes black and sometimes white?? I hate to give him props but thats a PERFECT NICKNAME. theyre also tiny and vicious!
-why did I get so excited that Skulker is back!! its been like. 2-3 eps LMAO. AND THE DAIRY KING. ICONIC I LOVE HIM. hes the nicest guy ever :) more nice ghosts please. danny cannot be fighting alone everytime with no ghost buds like every ghost being hostile sucks :(
-mr. fenton knew vlad was controlling him, but a few episodes ago he had no clue danny was doing the same thing...is it something about how malicious the ghost is?? he just seemed to think his memory had gaps the first time, this time he was INSTANTLY LIKE 'GHOST'. then again in this ep when danny did it again he was just slightly confused but not immediately freaking out like he did with vlad possessing him!!
-'my parents will accept ME NO MATTER WHAT' so. so why haven't you come out to them yet, danny?? if you really think that?? if theres no harm, and you're sure??? if vlad is a real problem, wouldnt that make dealing with him easier, to expose him???? SO WHY HAVENT YOU COME OUT YET?? COULD IT BE,, MAYBE YOU HAVE DOUBTS ABOUT WHETHER YOUR PARENTS ACTUALLY WILL ACCEPT YOU??? đ€ ... đłâđ I get why people say He Is Trans. I totally totally get u danny.
-sorta unrelated, but it just occurred to me in one of these eps they go to casper HIGH not casper middle school??? theyre 14?? dont highschools usually do ages 15-18? (I didnt go to hs so I might be wrong, if I am ignore this...) freshmen are usually 14-15, could just be a case of them not turning 15 yet but they will sometime in the school year (I say they because tucker said he was 14 too)? I know the show has 3 seasons, so by the end of it will they be older? thatd be neat but usually cartoon characters stay the same age...I love shows where you can see the characters age and grow up, though...three seasons seems like a long time to spend on like, 1 year...

cats and cuddles- minho
a/n: so this was like one of the first fics ive ever written and i wrote it for a friend so hmm if it sucks im sorry LMFAO i thought it was cute so i wanted to share đ„șđ„ș
it was late at night when felt a quick snuggle on your chest. of course, the struggle of grabbing your glasses in the dark was real, your hands constantly patting your nightstand till you finally felt the plastic lens slowly putting them on before your cat could jump off your bed.
âfefe? where are you going?!â you watched as the red kitty ran out the door, following behind him as he rubbed his head against the window door.
âyou wanna go outside? god this is why i told you go out earlierâ you sighed before opening the door, âjust gooooâ and off fefe went, making an unexpected whimper that brought concern to your eyes.
you watched as the little feline jumped out the window, running through the hidden hole under the fence. you never noticed the cats secret dugout, and even at the middle of the night you wondered of the cats whereabouts.
this wasnât the first night, you quickly realized, that the kitty had asked to leave so late. quickly grabbed a coat and throwing on some uggs, you ran out into the cold- a flashlight in your hand as you ran around the corner in search of the little guy.
âfefe...? where are you?â you called in a sing-song tone.
this call was only returned by the sounds of the night; quiet, mysterious, indulging. it made you wonder where the hell this little idiot couldâve gone.
almost on cue, you watched as fefeâs small steps ran down the neighborhood road in front of you. âfefe!â you called, running after him in the cold.

he was having a bad night, i guess you could say. the day before he spent the night contemplating whether or not the girl he was with at the moment was actually the love of his life. the feeling of uncertainty was the worst, and when he called it off with his girlfriend he left the room knowing it was the right thing.
this didnât settle with his ex however, the house left with shattered glass on the floor as she claimed, âminho! you can never live without me! no other girl would want you!â
the fear driven into his eyes only shuttered as he realized maybe she was right, but she was wrong.
chan reassured him of this later on in the day as he spilled out his worries, reminding him of a question that felix got him considering a few weeks ago. âhyung, do you really like noona?â it was a question that really got him thinking, did he really love her? was she the one for him?
she was allergic to cats, wasnât a fan of ice cream, and hated books-- especially the harry potter ones. minho knew that 12 y/o minho wouldâve threw his girlfriend into a bush when he realized she disliked j.k.rowlingâs most amazing works.
this just didnât settle with him, and the stress began to overwhelm him as he decided to open the door for fresh air. sitting near the window, minho ran his fingers through his hair as he listened to the cool breeze. humming in satisfaction, he let his eyes close shut before he could see the slightest of a figure passing the doorway.Â
âbinnie!â he exclaimed, running out the door with two jackets instead of one in a sudden hurry.
there the two of you were, chasing after two kittens with no point of direction. simply following the steps of tiny paws as they ran through the dark night. little did you know that an glimpse of fate was behind this, not for you and the boy, but for the two kittens.
you watched as fefe turned a corner, stopping to take a breather before hearing someone yell âoh my god, its two kittens!â panic ran though you as you assumed it mustâve been a cat robber, and with quick instinct you ran the corner to see fefeâs little tail.
âfefe!!!â you ran with all your might, not noticing the male figure in front of you as you picked up the little kitten.Â
âouchâ the boy said, rubbing his forehead from the contact. you looked up at the boy, finding yourself in disbelief. how could such a handsome man be a cat robber?Â
âlook.. p-please dont take my catâ you stuttered to speak, taking a few steps back.Â
âwhat..? oh my god look, this is my catâ you looked down to see another cat, another identical to fefe but jet black fur.Â
fefe jumped out of your arms, quick to cuddle with the strange yet attractive manâs cat. âthey seem to be very closeâ you giggled
the boy smiled as he watched them brush their noses against each other, a scene that brought a little bit of warmth to your heart. he crouched down to rub the soft fur that filled fefeâs back before placing his index finger on a certain point that threw him off.
âis that your catâs birthmark?â cats donât have birthmarks but um yeah letâs pretend they do ah haha
âyeah!! apparently my kitten had a brother who was adopted and they placed these fake birthmarks in case they ever unite. it probably wonât happen though, i barely let fefe out. and even if it did, i wouldnât believe itâ
minho looked at his cat, and at yours, and back at you- biting his lip as he took a moment to process his thoughts.
âwell start believingâ minho said as he brought his kitten close to your side and revealed a similar birthmark on the same exact place. âare you kidding?!â you yelped in excitement, leaning down to carry the boyâs cat in your hands.
you shivered in the cold as another breeze flew past the two of you, catching the boys eye as he held his second jacket that he grabbed by accident in his hand.
âhereâ he stood up, slowly placing the jacket over your shoulders. in the process, you happened to look up at him. you noticed the way his deep brown eyes sparkled. the little birthmark on the top of his nose.
his pouted lips when he was simply thinking or doing something. his lips parted when he noticed you looking right back at him before he could step back and clear his throat. you found yourself snapping out of the moment as well, as the boy went back to pet fefe.
âwhatâs the name?â you asked.
âmy names minhoâ the boy said, smiling at you as he expected a response
â... i meant the catâ you said, brushing the cats fur with your fingertips
âoh... itâs binnieâ
âcute name. and in case youâre wondering im y/n, and this is fefeâ you said, taking a second to wonder where the sudden confidence came from before the both of you could exchange kittens and most definitely exchange phone numbers.

the next day, the two of you met at the place where you adopted the kittens.
âso.. theyre twinsâ youâd concluded after seeing the felines matching birthmarks and affection for each other.
âtheyâre like long lost brothersâ minho said with a pout as he watched the two play with a piece of string
you looked up at him, only to catch him looking right at you âshouldnât we keep them together?â minho suggested
you pouted your lips. after all this time you created a strong bond with fefe and never wanted to let him go. he was always the boy to cuddle with your feet as you did homework or sit on your lap as you watched tv. he was someone to talk to in the household and you couldnât risk losing him.
minho felt the same way about binnie as well. he was a kpop idol in training, and when the stress had overcome him he always found relaxation in binnieâs comfort. he just didnât want to let him go.
âto be honest, i know theyâre long lost brothers or soulmates or whatever and i really want them to be together. but i just donât wanna lose fefeâ you picked up the red ball of fur, cuddling him into your chest as he licked the side of your cheek. minho picked up binnie as well before looking at you with a sort of agreement.
âhow about we just meet up every now and then? for the catsâ he suggested
âare you sure itâs just for the cats?â you laughed, giving minho a little shove on the shoulder before a dirty smirk could arise upon his lips, âwho knows? maybe id like to see you as wellâ he winked before leaving the shelter.
âill text you a date and address, you better be there y/nâ he waved off before leaving you in utter shock.
did i just... flirt? and it worked?! you squeezed fefe in your hands, jumping up and down in place.
âfefe you just scored me a hot date!!â
all fefe could do was stare at you in absolute confusion, as the cat really didnât understand a shit you were saying. but you knew what you just went down, minho definitely just asked you out.

the second he got into the car, he called bang chan.
âoh chan chan chan hyunggg!!!â
âoh god, what happened now?â chan asked, a sense of drowsiness in his voice.
âi think i just scored a date!!â
âYOU SCORED A WHAT?!â jisung exclaimed onto the phone.
âstop being so loud you dumbassâ minho responded. âlong story short but her name is y/n and sheâs seems really decent and pretty and she likes cats and i donât know her smile is so pretty i just donât even know what to say i..â
âthat mans whipped. deadassâ seungmin said, âdid you ask her out?â
âi kinda did? im gonna ask her to come to my placeâ
âWOAHHH there pilot- to your place?! on a first date?!â
âok ok no itâs a long story so our cats somehow found each other in the middle of the nightâ
âwhat?!â
ânever mind.. anyways ima ask her to come tomorrowâ minho smiled to himself before sending a quick text to you and patting binnie in the seat next to him.

it was about 5 pm in the afternoon, the sun still hasnât set but both your cats were eager to meet. it wasnât just the cats however, you were just as excited to see minho as well and finally return his jacket.
without even noticing it, you kept it on. the warm material on the inside felt comfortable and you knew he must have had good taste in clothing.
grabbing your keys, you ran out the door with fefe on your hands and next thing you knew you were at the doorsteps of lee minhos home.
you took a few seconds to decide whether or not you should actually ring the doorbell before the door could open.
âhey! you can come inâ minho laughed, noticing how nervous you seemed outside.
âthank youâ you quickly nodded your head and walked inside before fefe could jump out your arms again and join binnie.
âwoah..â you couldnât help but to gasp and the looks of his apartment.
âis that a harry potter poster?!â you exclaimed, running over to what seemed like lee minhos hogwarts merch collection. he had the wand, the posters, and all the books lined up on a shelf.
âyouâre a Harry Potter fan?!â minho exclaimed
âyess!!â
âok count of three name your houseâ you took a deep breath as minho started the mini countdown.

âslytherin!â
âgryffindor!!â
âoh fuck you minho, of course youâd be in slytherinâ you said, making minho laugh
âhey what can i say? guess i just give off those vibes. now how about some coffee?â
from there the conversation was endless, you both realized you had a lot in common. although minho was more of a singer and you were more of an instrumental player you seemed to bond over music and books. this, minho realized, was something minho always wanted to see in a girl. something he wanted to have- a real conversation. one that he was actually interested in, and he loved getting to know every little detail about you and every small thing he said didnât fail to make you laugh. you two seemed to be hitting it off and before you know it, the thunderstorm rolls in outside and you realize you didnât bring minhos jacket.
âoh my god.. i forgot to bring your jacket! from the first day we met?â
âdonât worry about itâ
âahh im sorry, ill bring it next time i promiseâ
minho jumped in his seat, âwait no! donât bring it. everâ
âwhy not?â
âitâll give you a reason to keep coming back to meâ he said, a smile forming on his lips. you couldnât help but to laugh at how cheesy he was when he smiled, it was so perfect it almost seemed fake. but you knew everything he said and did was from somewhere deep in the heart.
âitâs raining a lot outside, do you just wanna wait until it gets a little better?â minho suggested
âi wouldnât mindâ you said, making yourself comfortable on the couch. minho got up to turn on the apt room heater, grabbing some hot cocoas and blankets for the both of you. the one thing that got you however, was how close he sat next to you when he came back. your shoulders brushed against each other as he threw the blanket on your lap, a light pink blush on your cheeks.
and in a few hours you found yourself resting your head on minhoâs shoulder, both of your cats falling deep asleep on your lap as harry potter played on the tv.
âthank you â minho suddenly spoke out of nowhere.
âfor?â
âfor... for entertaining me. i donât know if you realized, but i really like you. i donât know if the cats thing was something like fate but i really like youâ
you looked up to minho as the fingers foudn thenselves intertwining under the heated blanket.
âi really like you tooâ you whispered before you could kiss the little birthmark on his nose, making minho smile as the movie played on.

strawberry shortcake s2 ep1 - horse of a different color
this one was suggested by someone who couldnt keep their mouth shut and not sing the strawberry shortcake intro theme in the middle of our economy class
no one wanted to hear that, but they  went ahead and then i actually followed up on that train of thoughts
i remembered about the fucking cartoons and i knew it pronto: its a must-see shit its like slightly above the level of magical school bus series, but the final rating is for the fin not the beginning
so lets begin this horseshit:
were reviewing âhorse of a different colorâ, it focuses indeed on strawberrys horse, honey pie pony (its her entire damn name, how sweet right? like all of them, i got diabete from this review but its the cost of maintaining this blog
anyway, the kids are playing together on a that tree having fun jumping around like chimpanzees hooba hooba but sadly our filly quickly realizes she cant play king kong with them and keep falling on her ass,
yet since theyre all retarded or young (id say its a fifty-fifty case for them kinda normal ig, i mean they ARE literal 6yo) they try several ways of getting her up on that tree, not thinking how to get her down if they ever were to succeed (good for them: aint happening)
its child labor too btw, from an horse still same deal what if honey pie fell down on them? crushing them corpses with her mighty pounds? the findus company would be delighted to hear such news, im sure its some quality (sweet ass) horse meat
once it all fails she understands a horse isnt meant to climb a tree, too big too fat its four legged, not even entertaining the relationship giraffes have with trees
but it aint over, then (after a talk with herself) hp hears the laughters of a bunch of kids which catches her attention, it always does who can ignore that sorta noise? although she aint annoyed by it shes just into the idea of riding a bike now, shes even gonna get a go at it oh yea thats it we finally found her human hobby gogdamn
shes a backward furry
of course it fails aswell since she has no hand for the handle and shes heavy so i guess its the reason why she rides into w/e and cant stop? because otherwise she couldve also just.. actually it makes no sense does it? i mean she couldve easily stopped the ride actually
how is that kid bike even holding her? ive never tried putting a pony on a bike for 6 y/o but i doubt about its capacity in not being crushed aswell as i doubt in the kids bones not being severely damaged after a visit under honey pies horsy buttcheeks
but all of that really makes her sad: she cant play with her human friends and shes the only horse around strawberry land or whatever see me tearing it for her, theres so much emotions in this episode especially after that filly trynna get kids to get into some horseplay horseshit
like dude theyre only 6, lets go easy on them, might have a problem with the parents of the kids watching this episode
no one even thought how fucked up this one part is? sure horseplay isnt only sexual or w/e but it still is the visual of 6yos on all four jumping around and neighing together with their ass a little bit too exposed wow im going on a dangerous road here? aint i? not gonna sue the writers
im sure it was their subconscious speaking probably got issues from their childhood, eventually got them sorted out since 2004 what do i know? aside from me not caring
back on track : after seeing horsey being so sad the kiddos decide to get her a horse friend but where the fuck? they got no idea, they are proud nonetheless and go tell honey the good new until they are like âwait but we have no idea where to find horses!â ofc we get a big reveal, some
serious strawberry shortcake lore: actually all the horses, ALL OF THEM FROM THE ENTIRE FUCKING PLANET are on one (1) single island: ice cream themed to diversify it all they are just chilling over there in ponyland and for some reason this one here got lost or idk guys she took the boat and
checked the rest of the world out as an even younger filly, found strawberry and her friends and decided now she was a centaur  slash humanrry furry human, idk you get it but shes their friend and so on
to introduce the concept of an AWESOME island full of equestrian activity and ofc ice cream but its kinda lame because who cares? everythings already made out of food, also why isnt the ice cream melting? its one water? nevermind
for the introduction as i was saying, hp sings an horrendous sounding song it deteriorated my ear drums they got pierced or something  or maybe im exagerrating? either case

of course it wouldnt be a big adventure without an almost broken bridge

now why +1? its because of how many political questions it raised, how it made me think about our society and cakes yknow its more than kids having a conflict with an horse
it talks about veganism, specism, handicap, cannibalism, the management of the limited ressources were exploiting and so on
yea really makes you think, its subliminal messages to make kids smarter: they watch their dessert-imbecile counterparts doing bs and then get it right irl: good  ah- it also makes it better for you
when youre watching this with your kid, you suddenly transcend to another level of spirituality, existential crisis activated or at least reasoning mode or w/e youre willing to name this the point is you arent bored
still despite all of this i rated it quite low for such a serious kid cartoon what couldve possibly made me tic?
1) kids are morons and cant understand all of this, not clear enough for the targeted public
2) projection onto the characters/dialogues from the writers of their childhood traumas (the horse play event didnt go unnoticed, karren brown)
3) my little pony ripoff
4) its controversial, our society, especially in 2004 couldnt understand the depth of this shit
and finally 5) i got so much ice cream flavoured horseshit all over my desk god help me this is so filthy what a fucking mess
i would totally recommand it to anyone who feels like being blown away by the statements made in this work of art
6/10 but really we all know in the future, itll be a 9/10, some ahead-of-its-time-crap

Synopsis: Â The three of you go house shopping in New York to see if you can find something youâre all happy with.
Chapter 14
Over the next few weeks, things ramped up a lot. Â There was another ultrasound to be had at 8 weeks and Tony and Pepper were determined to figure out where you should all live that gave the best options for school and work.
You seemed completely nonplussed on the issue. Â You still went to Avengers training in the early morning and you continued going to your lab in the afternoon. Â Just now before you left you seemed to struggle with the thought that you might throw up first.
By the time of the eight-week ultrasound, you weren't just thinking about it. Â You had to factor in an extra ten minutes for throwing up before you made your way down for the dawn run. Â It never stopped you though. Â If you could go to training hungover a little bit of morning sickness wasn't going to stop you.
The strange thing was that Pepper seemed to be suffering with it too. Â Initially, the three of you had put it on her just not handling vomit very well. Â It wasnât a totally uncommon thing that when someone threw up it might set someone else off. Â Pepper had never been the weak stomached type but it was possible worries about the pregnancy was already making her slightly nauseated.
By the time of the ultrasound both Tony and you were teasing her about it being sympathy vomit.
The ultrasound went fine everyone was excited to see the twins again. Â They still kind of just looked like a weird blurry picture of packaging peanuts. Â Â Tony did still feel both relieved and excited when he heard the fast squish-squish sound of their heartbeats.
After the ultrasound, the three of you went to the first of the choices for the new home. Â New York City.
When Tony had made the move to the compound heâd dissolved all his property. Â Avengers Tower had become the Baxter Building. Â It was probably the least practical course for them because it would mean reopening a branch of Stark Industry so that Pepper had an office and you had a lab, buying a home, and possibly opening a branch of the Avengers if you were set on remaining on the team after your maternity leave was up.
Tony had booked them the penthouse suite at the Gramercy Park while they looked at options.
âDalton. Â Thatâs the reason.â Â Pepper said. Â Her heels clicked loudly on the garish marble floors of the Upper East Side mansion they were inspecting.
The house was hideous. Â The âAmerican Renaissanceâ period of architecture was a travesty. Â The whole place, with its marble floors, chandeliers, ceiling murals featuring cherubs and gold scrollwork, looked more like a museum than a home. Â It was dated, to say the least. Â And dated to a period of opulence with no taste or subtlety. Â All Tony could think was apart from the library which heâd keep for Pepper (the murals would have to go), the pool and the cinema, heâd gut the whole thing and start over.
âI donât know, Pep.  It could have 100 Daltonâs but thereâs no yardâŠâ
âThereâs a roof garden.â
âYou want the twins playing on the roof?â Â He said raising an eyebrow.
âRight, of course.â Â She said heading into the kitchen. Â âThis is nice.â
âYeah.  Very light and spacious.  I still think⊠Iâd have to invest at least a cool billion to have us set up and even then it wouldnât be right and it doesnât feel like a home.â  He said running his hand over the floating kitchen island.
âWhat do you think?â Â Pepper asked turning to you.
âI donât love it.â Â You said. Â âI mean, doesnât it scream masked orgy to you? Â I bet naked asses have been all over everything.â
âOh yeah. Â I thought it looked familiar.â Â Tony teased.
âGod, youâre disgusting,â Â Pepper said, whacking him. Â Tony laughed and rubbed his arm. Â âWell, we donât have to get this one. Â There were more options.â
âYeah, but theyâll all be either Townhouses or Penthouses. Â They wonât be where we can teach them to ride their bikes or run around with their dog. Â Weâll have to take them to the park every time we want to do something like that.â Â Tony said. Â âPlus thereâs the other investments involved. Â S.I. is upstate now. Â Iâd have to reopen here.â
âThe Avengers.â Â You added.
âYeah, I moved that because it was unsafe to have it just - in the middle of the city.â Â Tony agreed.
Pepper pursed her lips. Â She didnât like that you wanted to stay with the Avengers the same way she didnât like that Tony wouldnât give up being Iron Man back in the day. Â âWe can consider it though right? Â Thatâs what weâre doing here? Â Looking at each option and picking the best?â
âYeah, you're right. Â Being here is better than in the compound.â Â Tony conceded. Â âI don't know how big the pull to Dalton is compared to just buying land near the compound and building exactly what we want though.â
âThere aren't any schools around the compound though.â Â Pepper complained.
âStart your own one, Elon Musk style.â Â You said.
âWe are not starting our own one like Elon.â Â Pepper said sternly.
âI don't know⊠Maybe we should.  Give another incentive for people to stay on if it was more family friendly.â  Tony said with a shrug.
âTonyâŠâ  Pepper sighed.  He knew that tone so he dropped it.
You went out to the balcony and looked out over the park. Â Tony came up behind you and wrapped his arms around your waist. Â âIt is a cool city though.â Â You said.
âI won't argue that.â  He agreed, kissing your neck.
âCan we get out of this house? Â I feel like I'm in a museum and the temptation to just touch everything for no good reason is making my fingers itchy.â Â You said.
Tony chuckled and his hands ran over your stomach. Â It was still far too early to show. Â Even so, he loved that he could touch you and know that his children were in there and it wouldnât be too long until he got to hold them. Â It helped put that nervous impatience he felt in check. Â âIâd gut it if we bought it.â
âOh, yeah?â Â You said turning in his arms. Â âNot the library.â
âNo, but that mural for sure. Â Iâd make it more shelves.â
âOh, tell me more.â
âAll the ugly ass marble and gold would go.  Iâd change the light fittings to something sleeker but still a feature.  Iâd keep timber as a feature, but make it less ornate.  Sleek lines but the timber would make it feel more home than office like.  The art would be modern but not surreal.  Maybe some Warhol and Pollack.  Maybe include some impressionists to break it up.  Iâd install FRIDAY obviously.  The kitchen would be a similar layout but modern.  White and black.  Granite tops not marble.  I'd make the first floor about entertaining and the top two for us.  Bedrooms.  Living room.  That would be our family space.  It would be warmer colors.  Colors that take mess more.  I'd put a lab for us in the basement.  Probably a garage too but I might keep my of my collection out here.  There would be an office for Pep.  A gym.  I'd keep the cinema and the pool.â
You grinned and pecked his lips. Â âYour mind has been racing even though you don't want this place.â
âWell, I mostly just want my girls to be happy. Â If buying this eyesore makes you happy, then Iâm happy.â Â He said.
âThatâs sweet. Â But it wonât. Â I donât even think Pepper is sold on it.â Â You said pulling him back inside. Â âGod, that bathroom is going to be in my nightmares. Â The green marble toilet.â
Tony laughed. Â âYeah, that would be first to go.â
They made their back inside and found Pepper coming down the stairs followed by the real estate agent. Â âOkay. Â Let's go. Â I think Iâve seen enough.â
âGood. Â Letâs get something to eat.â Â Tony said. Â âIâm feeling Grayâs Papaya.â
Pepper scrunched her nose. Â âI think the smell would make me throw up.â Â Â She said. Â âIf you want local letâs go to Katzâs.â
You looked her up and down. Â âYouâre gonna need to dial in this sympathy sickness thing or see a doctor because I feel like youâre stealing my thunder.â
She scowled. Â âIâm not doing it on purpose.â
âSo, go see a doctor.â Â You pushed.
Tony followed you outside where Happy was waiting with the car.  The three of you slid into the back seat and Pepper huffed.  âI just⊠itâs only in the mornings or certain smells.  Itâs got to just be some weird sympathy thing.â
âMaybe youâre actually pregnant,â Â Tony said. Â Heâd meant it as a joke but as soon as the words were out of his mouth it was like something clicked into place. Â Maybe she was pregnant. Â He couldnât remember when she last had her period, and theyâd been tracking it regularly right up until they did the first IVF run with you.
âHa-ha, very funny, Tony.â Â Pepper snarked.
âBut maybe you are pregnant, Pepper.â Â You said.
âYou do kind of look like youâre glowing.â Â Happy added looking in the rearview mirror.
âNo. Â How could I be? Â We did all that IVF.â Â She stopped talking and seemed to try and count something off on her fingers. Â âHow could I be?â
âHap, stop at a pharmacy and get some pregnancy tests would you?â Â Tony said.
âYou got it, boss.â Â Happy replied and swerved the car around, double parking it outside a CVS on Lexington. Â He jumped out and ran inside as horns sounded behind him and someone cursed them as they went around.
âBut⊠we couldnât.  It wasnât working.â  Pepper said.
âI canât explain it Pepper, but itâs possible, right? Â It would explain this.â Â Tony said.
âHow come you get glowing and I get a breakout on my jaw?â Â You snarked.
âThe glow is oily skin.â  Pepper said absentmindedly.  âIt depends on how dry your skin was to begin with.â
âGod damn it.â Â You cursed.
âWhat will we do?â Â Pepper said looking at him. Â âWe already have twins.â
âTriplets?â Â Tony said making an exaggerated shrug. Â He was pretty far from actually being worried about this. Â He was actually pretty excited at the thought of the possibility of a large instant family.
âDoes it count as triplets if two different people are carrying them?â Â You asked.
âI donât know. Â I mean, theyâre genetically me and Pepper and theyâll be due roughly the same time.â He mused. Â âWhat counts?â
âIâm pretty sure itâs housed in the same uterus.â Â You said.
âCan we please argue about that when Iâm not freaking outâ Â Pepper groaned.
Happy ran back out and jumped into the car passing the paper bag back to Tony. Â âHotel?â Â He asked.
âYes, please,â Â Pepper said.
âAnd can you swing past Katzâs after. Â Get us some Matzo Ball Soup, a garden salad, and a Reuben.â Â Tony added.
âAnd Knish.â Â You added. Â âPotato ones.â
âSure thing.â Â Happy said pulling back into traffic.
He drove the three of you back to the Gramercy and Tony lead you and Pepper back up to the Penthouse. Â Pepper was in full panic mode by the time they got upstairs and rushed straight into the main bathroom and locked the door.
âAre you okay in there, Pepper?â Â You called, leaning on the door.
âYes, leave me alone to pee in peace.â Â She called back.
You snorted and moved to Tony. Â âWell then,â Â You said. Â âI bet she is.â
âIâm not taking that bet.â Â He said.
âOh go on. Â A billion dollars. Â Iâll bet you a billion dollars.â
âWhat do you need a billion dollars for?â
You shrugged and flopped down on the couch. Â Â The door opened and Pepper slumped out. Â âPositive. Â There wasnât even a wait for lines to show. Â It was right away.â
Tony rushed to her side and pulled her into a hug. Â A second later you had slammed into their sides and hugged them both tightly.
âOh my god, this is amazing,â Â Tony said.
âWeâre going to be pregnant at the same time. Â How awesome is that?â Â You added.
âI donât - how - how do we do this?â Â She said. Â âHow did this happen?â
Tony really didnât know the answer to that. Â All he knew for sure was he had the resources and he was excited. Â He was going to be part of a big family and heâd make sure they didnât have to worry about anything.

so you always make a habit of giving him healthy snacks when you see him

but once he really does give you a big scare,,,and you get mad because like

cool tattoo of a dragon on his chest,,you know,,,to go with the âfirebreatherâ aesthetic
everyone always leaves thinking heâs some badass who breaks hearts or whatever
but again,,,heâs nothing like that. the most badass thing about wonho is his firebreathing everything else is likeÂ
him being friendly to animals and getting spooked by the shittiest pranks kihyun and minhyuk pull
whenever someone is being annoying hyungwon is always like wonho - breath fire on themÂ
and wonho is like hyungwon,,,i canât do that you know that
heâs cute and heâs like safety first! when it comes to fire
youâre a standby EMT that sometimes works with the circus when theyâre in town
and if thereâs any act that makes you super nervous - itâs firebreathing/eating
because so so so so many things can go wrong
and so when wonho performs youâre always on edge, sweating in anticipation
thereâs a moment where wonho seems to wince in pain and you damn near run out onto the stage
but itâs just a false call
and you think that if something really bad was to happen,,,,youâd probably faint
and you attribute it to the fact that like well,,,you know,,,itâs scary to watch someone risk their health like that
but your fellow EMT is like âwhen are you gonna tell the hot fire guy you like himâ
and youâre like WHAT,,,,,i,,,,dont like wonho,,,,,,,like that

minhyuk also specializes in contortion while jooheon can do trampoline tricks
most of the time though they work together to do balancing actsÂ
and boy do they ,,,,,, not match AT ALL
itâs amazing - their personalities are nothing alike and theyâre always mocking each other but when it comes down to it they can do amazing things together
but minhyuk is always snorting at the fact that jooheon gets an act where he just âjumpsâ around
and jooheon is like just because you were born without joints or whatever doesnt mean your better than me
minhyuk: I HAVE JOINTS THEYRE JUST SOFT
shownu is always getting inbetween them so they dont like,,,kill each other
but itâs like a switch - when itâs time to perform they deliever
and have super great coordinationÂ
no one gets it,,,,but it works
minhyuk is always pushing for more bright colored leotards and jooheon is like please jesus noÂ
that one time they dyed their hair blonde and hyungwon called them âegg twinsâ
but yeah,,,you sometimes also work with them - even though your main act is trapezeÂ
and minhyuk is always like ,,,,,,,,,,,,, hey if you ever need a trapeze partner ;)
and jooheon is like theyâd choose me - obviously, i do flying work too

Blackheart, Chapter 31: A Final Respite
It had been quite some time. Deep in the heart of the Citadel, things had changed considerably.
A while ago, the survivors had evacuated to the countryside. Before they did so, Basilrin was sent to bring word of the situation to the surrounding lands, in hopes of summoning the forces needed to push to the Blackheart.
The portal was said to be in the very center of the city. To get there, all they needed to do was take the main road. Only problem was the demons. Their corrupted thralls swarmed the main streets en-masse. It was why they had spent their time creeping down alleyways and side streets.
Soon...soon, the time for skulking would come to an end. Soon, the army would begin their assault.
Alexander ran the blade of his sword over a whetstone, looking it over carefully. He had forgone wearing his armor, seeing as it had been a few days since Basilrinâs return.
It was quite the wonder, seeing not only his return, but the arrival of the Lady Protector herself, Gira. The Black Dragon, as she was called, arguably the most important figure in all of Geralthin. She had been there for the entirety of its history, after all.
She and Basilrin had assured them that the army was indeed on its way. Already a few of those towns and villages nearby had arrived, a few guards and citizens armed with the bare essentials now joining them in the Citadel.
It was a good start, but they had to await the mass of royal forces before they could dare start their push.
Gira was another one. Now they had three dragons. That was three beasts of legend to rain destruction on their foes. Alexander could only imagine how marvelous that kind of support would be for the army.
All in all, things were looking quite hopeful. With a force like this assembled, pushing through the city really seemed more than a mere pipe dream.
All they had to do was cause a gap, if only for a moment, in the demonsâ defenses. Then Alexander could slip through, enter the Blackheart, and destroy whatever artifact was anchoring the portal to their world.
âHey.â
The knight turned to see Wurie walking up to him. The wolfman took a seat on the ground beside the knight, flashing him a nervous smile.
âHey captain. Whatâs the matter?â
Wurie looked off into the distance as Alexander continued sharpening his blade. âI just...can hardly believe it, you know? That weâre so close.â
âIt wonât be long now,â the knight answered.
âItâs been quite the journey.â
Alexander smiled. âYeah. I think weâve all learned things from this.â
âReally? I feel like youâve been the one teaching ME here, sir knight!â
The man shook his head and sighed. âYou should know better than that, Wurie.â
The wolfman frowned. âWhat are you talking about?â
âCaptain, when I first came here...I must admit that I didnât feel the same way about you and the others then I do now.â
âWhatâs that mean?â
âWell...I was raised surrounded by other humans. Not once had I even laid eyes upon another species, aside from Stilich, the doctor.â
âStilich?â
âOne of the shellbacks,â Alexander admitted, âFather hired him to take care of us...but that was the extent of my knowledge. He was one of a kind as far as I was concerned. When I joined the army, I was deployed at the northern border. There, was my first experience with the wolves...with your people, Wurie.â
The captain grimaced. âNot, uh...not a good impression,â he whispered, his voice reflecting pain.
âThatâs an understatement. I thought your people were animals, barbarians, monsters...I had a similar view for many of the peoples of Geralthin. In truth, the edict didnât rattle me as much as it probably should have...it meeting Sigvin to change my mind about a âuniversal evilâ. Even then I thought he was the exception, but now...I see I was quite mistaken.â
âSigvin?â Wurieâs brows furrowed. âAlexander, you said...Sigvin?â
âYeah. We commissioned him as pathfinder, during one of our expeditions into tribal territory. We chatted at the camp. Told me all sorts of stories about him and his people. Really helped me understand the wolfmen more than I did.â
Wurieâs eyes were a near sliver now.
âWhat? Whatâs with that funny look?â
âAlexander...was...was Sigvin a bard?â
The knight was caught off guard by that one. âHe...mentioned he wanted to become one...how on earth did you know that? Wurie, have you met him?â
The captain gave Alexander a serious look. â...follow me.â
He paused only to put his whetstone away and sheathe his sword before he hurried after Wurie. The implications behind this left only one possibilityâŠ
Turning past another group of tents, Wurie called out to a figure facing a firepit. âSigvin!â
The person turned around, sitting on a small wooden stump. In a rather puffy, fanciful striped and dyed suit, was a familiar face. Sure, the clothes, quilled hat, and lute was a far cry to the rags he was wearing all those years ago, but Alexander recognized him all the same.
âSigvin...youâve got a friend here.â
The unarmored knight stepped forward, eyes widening. It wasnât just a shared name. It was him. It was really him.
âSigvinâŠ?â
The wolfman bard frowned. âErr, Iâm sorry. You might beâŠ?â
âItâs me, remember?! Itâs Alexander! From the war up north? The Pureclaws!â
The bardâs face scrunched up as he tried to recall those memories. In a moment, his eyes shot open. âA-Alexander?!â
âYeah! Itâs me!â
The wolfman jumped up excitedly and put his lute down. âHoo boy...Alexander! How have you been, friend?!â
The knight laughed as Sigvin grabbed and shook his hand wildly. âAh, you know! Pretty busy. How the hell did you end up all the way down here?!â
âI TOLD you I was gonna move to Geralthin! I even went to college! All was going according to plan when, uh...this all happened.â
âRight...you were kicked off with the rest of the exiled.â
âMmhm. I must say, I saw you here before, but I never imagined the man under the armor would be you!â
Alexander shrugged. âWell, here I am regardless! God I canât believe weâve been so close all this time!â
âIâve been...unable to be of much help,â Sigvin admitted with a sheepish smile. âI, uh...Iâve been hiding back here. Thinking, mostly.â
âWell, why didnât you leave with the other citizens?â
âBecause he wants to help!â Wurie said with a grin, âIsnât that right, Sigvin?â
âYessir!â
The knight tapped his foot, looking worried. âAh, but...what are you planning on doing, than? Not joining the front line, Iâd hope!â
âOh goodness no. Iâve never been a warrior, you know that! I AM a bard, though. My music does more than you might expect. I hope to rally and inspire the real warriors when we attack!â
âYou really have become what youâve always wanted, huh?â
âThatâs right!â Sigvin said with a grin, âMy dreams are...well, they WERE coming true...but hopefully! Hopefully, after all this, I can finally get back on track!â
Wurie nodded. âYou will. Weâll see to that, wonât we, Alexander!â
âYes...we will. I must say Wurie, itâs good to see you looking up like this. You, uh...werenât in high spirits, the last few times we spoke.â
âWhat can you do?â the captain asked with a shrug. âIâve been seeing and hearing some awful things. It takes its toll, but...itâs almost over. Weâre so close. If thereâs a time to believe, itâs right now.â
Alexander smiled. Despite everything, even the most mournful seemed full of hope now.
âHope is a powerful thing to have. Weâll see this through Wurie, I swear.â
The trio sat around the firepit, Alexander looking back at Sigvin. âSo...got any songs planned for all of this?â
The bard smiled. âAh, well Iâve got a few popular tunes, but generally I let the music take me where it goes.â His smile quickly turned into a frown. âI do have...one song in the works though. An...ode to your friend, Alexander. The red dragon. Hopefully, my song will travel across the land once this is over, and all will sing of his sacrifice. I figured such an individual deserves nothing less.â
Alexanderâs face scrunched up. âAh. I see...Iâm sure heâd be proud.â
Sigvin nodded sadly. âYeah. I think he would.â

The holy man didnât look up as he continued reflecting over the words of the scripture. âYes?â
âI, uh...Iâm going to go with them, you know!â
Andric frowned. The paladin opened his eyes and turned his gaze to Senci, visage firm.
âI would strongly advise against that.â
The kobold looked hurt by that. âOh, come on, master! Theyâre counting on me to help them!â
âAnd Iâm counting on you to make it through this in one piece.â
âIâll make it through just fine! I can do it, you know I can! I was trained by the best, after all.â
âSenciâŠâ
âIâve make it this far, havenât I?!â
Andric turned around, shifting from kneeling into a sitting position. The pair were inside a tent, taking stock of their inventory and preparing for the final battle.
âI just donât want anything to happen. I heard about your little stint in the medical tent, you know.â
âBut master-â
âWhat if that happens again?â
âMaster AndricâŠâ
âYou nearly died, Senci! I cannot abide by this! If I were to let you leave my sight, you could-â
Something snapped inside of Senci, if only for a moment. For the first time since he could remember, he snapped at his mentor.
âIâm not a damned child anymore!â
Andricâs brows raised at the koboldâs shrill yell. He couldnât remember the man ever being stricken silent like this, but these were exceptional circumstances.
The young warrior felt immense shame and regret almost immediately. He could feel the heat well up in his face and fear creep over him as he looked at his stunned father figure.
âI...Iâm sorryâŠâ
The paladin grimaced as he looked the other warrior over. The small lizard shifted uncomfortably, head lowered and eyes full of guilt. Like he was about to be lectured.
Andric sighed. âItâs...fine. I understand. I know this is important to you. I just...I came all this way to make sure you were alright, you know? If something happened, IâŠâ
The manâs lips pursed. â...I donât know what Iâd do. Over a decade, Senci. For twelve years, Iâve been making sure you were okay. For twelve years, schooling and training you...â
âI...I know,â Senci said quietly, âB-but, master...you...you have to let me try! Iâm a grown up now!â
Andric shot the kobold a guilty grin and scratched his beard. âWell, actually, youâre still a year away from being an adult at the momentâŠâ
âT-thatâs close enough!â Senci insisted. âListen...I...Iâm thankful for everything, really, I am. Iâm so lucky I have you to train me...but eventually, you have to put that training to the test! Master...you must let me loose on our enemies! Youâve prepared me for this moment, and I must follow through now! I canât be useless in this battle, I canât let everyone down! I HAVE to help!â
Andric frowned and closed his eyes, reflecting on the koboldâs words. Eventually, he opened his eyes and moved forward, wrapping his arms around the young warrior.
âSenci...I know. I know I canât stop you from doing this...and I understand how much this means to you. You can go.â
Smiling with wide eyes, Senci returned the hug, Andric patting him on the shoulder.
âI wonât let you down. I promise.â
âThe only way you could do that, Senci, is if you didnât come back...so make sure you do, alright?â
Senci grinned wide. âYes sir!â

Razorwing pulled back on his bow, getting a feel for the tension. He sat on the ground beside the tent he had been staying in, his supplies laid out around him.
After this brief test of his bowstring, it seemed like all was in order. He had brought a few extra with him just in case it snapped, but there didnât seem to be many issues. Heâd been using this one for about a year, but he was very fussy about maintenance, so everything still worked as intended.
âIs that the great hero Razorwing, playing around with an unloaded bow?â
The bird turned his head towards the source. Of course, there was no mistaking that voice, despite the additional cheer it seemed to be carrying today.
âYou work with crossbows. You know full well the need to test and maintain.â
The human sat down beside him. Despite the mask, his eyes made his amusement clear.
âObviously. Iâm messing with you, dope.â
The koutu shot him a cocky grin. âYou sure? You know, if you donât know about weapon upkeep, I could teach you.â
âYeah yeah, alright, ya dumb bird.â A light punch to the shoulder made the hero chuckle.
Paul took out one of his own crossbows and looked it over. It was a fair bit smaller than the ones the armies used, seeing as this was made with the ability to hold and fire with one hand. Still, it had enough force behind it, and the bolts were large enough to still be deadly. The downside was that without the heft of the larger models, punching through armor proved...problematic.
Not that this was generally a problem for Paul. As a bounty hunter, he generally worked to end combat before it began. Heâd become a good enough shot and a quiet enough sneak to hit targets in their weak spots, while they were unexpecting.
âHard to believe itâs almost over huh?â the human mused.
âYes...quite remarkable. Weâve come quite a far way, we have.â Razorwing put his bow down and grabbed his quiver, beginning to examine his arrows.
âItâs been rough. The close scrapes, the demons...listening to you blabber on about nonsense,â Paul said with a laugh.
âOh? You got pretty mad when I stopped âblabberingâ though, didnât you?â
The bounty hunter looked away as the koutu grinned like mad. âWell...you know how it is...the silence in this hellhole is maddening. Any voice is a relief...no matter how dumb what theyâre saying is.â
The archer raised a brow. âOh ho! I see! So what youâre saying is Iâm just a voice to you, huh? Just a distraction? Just something any other person could have been?â
âT-thatâs not what I meant!â
The hero put a winged arm around the humanâs shoulders. Shooting him a grin, he leaned in. âDonât worry! Iâm just...what was it you said? âMessing with you, dopeâ?â
Paul groaned, which drew another laugh from Razorwing.
âSeriously, though. You and I, friend...weâll go far, donât you think?â
âWhat do you mean by that?â with the birdmanâs wing still wrapped around him, he looked over questioningly.
âYou remember how well we worked in the streets. How long we spent without the luxury of a team, or any support. Just the two of us, against the demons. The scouting we did for each other...we make a perfect duo, donât you think?â
Paul looked away, sighing. âWe, uh...youâre right, but...I donât know.â
âAw, come on, pal! No one can beat a team like us!â
âI know,â Paul admitted, âWe make an excellent team. Still...I donât know if Iâll...be doing this in the future.â
Razorwing frowned. âHuh? Whatâs...whatâs that mean?â
âLook. Youâre a famous hero. You fight monsters, and lead parades, and have songs sung of you...and Iâm a shadow. No one besides you knows my identity. I stalk the shadows. I slit the throats of thieves and killers. I hide from the fame that comes with the work I do. Iâve built a reputation as an ender of lives...despite no one knowing who I am.â
The hero gave him a funny look. âYouâre saying weâre incompatible?â
âWell, thatâs one part of it-â
He was cut short by Razorwing squeezing him, tightening his armâs grip around the man.
âCome on, Crux! Weâve been through enough to know thatâs nonsense!â
Paulâs eyes narrowed. âArgh. You wanna let me breathe, bird?â
âVery well.â Razorwing let go of him, the pair sitting beside one another once more.
âHah. Well, besides that...I have an identity to keep concealed. We were able to do that AND work together because, well...weâre in a fog-covered city cut off from the outside world. If we started working together once this is over...I fear your renown, and the attention you draw would...make my secret impossible to keep.â
It seemed to finally dawn on the hero, now. His gaze softened, turning into a saddened, wincing visage.
âAh. I...I see. You...we canât...be friends anymore.â
There was a lengthy, uncomfortable pause. Both of them had their heads down, unable to look the other in the eye.
Paulâs voice caught Razorwing off guard.
âYou know...youâre the only friend Iâve ever had.â
The archer blinked, eye widening. âPaulâŠ?â
âI, uh...I made an effort to keep my distance from everyone...just so something like this wouldnât happen.â
The human looked over at Razorwing. The koutuâs head hung low, looking defeated.
âI...there must be something we can doâŠâ
Paul crossed his arms, his weapons checking long forgotten. âIs there...some place you go to all the time? I donât know if I could leave a paper trail to keep in touch, but if we happened to be around the same placesâŠâ
Razorwing smirked. âIâm all over the place. The parades and plays and, well, you know.â
âOf course.â
âWell, my estateâs always open to you. Hey, maybe you could come over sometime and meet Eignach!â
âEignachâŠ?â
The koutu looked surprised. âOh, I didnât tell you? Weâre...together.â There was a short pause before Razorwing continued hurriedly. âErr, thatâs uh, why I wanted to tell you, by the way, that Iâm spoken for. I didnât mean to...hit on you. I-I donât drink, so, uhh...I wasnât thinking clearly. My apologies.â
âDonât worry about it...lightweight.â Paul was grinning. The way the fabric around his mouth was stretching gave it away.
âWell EXCUSE me for practicing a bit of clean living!â the hero laughed and shook his head. âWell, at any rate, weâve been together for...not too long. We were just friends at first. Poor fellow was expelled from the kingdom during the exile. He grew up in Geralthin. He may be one of my people in body, but culturally, he was a human. Our homeland was alien and frightening to him. I took him in, seeing as he lost his home and...the rest is history.â
âA bird frightened of his own flockâŠâ Paul pulled out his dagger and inspected it for any nicks and scratches.
âI suppose! Heâs adapted well, though. You know he was a fan of mine? He was absolutely starstruck when we met. Even fainted and everything!â
âEveryone has a hero to look up to, I guess. You happened to be his.â
âThatâs right.â
Razorwing turned to look at the human, still running his hand along his dagger.
âHey, Paul?â
âYeah?â
There was a brief moment of hesitation. âWhatever happens out there...weâre a team, alright? Iâve got your back.â
Paul lowered his dagger, turning to look at the archer. His eyes ran over the other man, taking him in.
âAnd Iâve got yours.â He held a gloved hand out to the koutu, who took it without hesitation. The pair shook.
âDomnall...itâs been a pleasure. Letâs cast these beasts back to the deepest pits of hell.â
Razorwing radiated confidence as he sat up straight. âHah! The armies of hell themselves will learn to fear our names!â
Paul nodded, a smirk etched in his mask. âThatâs what I like to hear. Letâs you and I give emâ something to call hell...bird.â

âLooks like everythingâs ready.â
âJust about.â
The man and woman were sitting inside a small tent, just the two of them and their supplies. The man was sitting idle, while the woman was chewing on a piece of jerky. He looked at her with a near unreadable expression.
âHungry?â she asked in between bites. He shook his head.
âNot a fan of jerky?â
He shook his head again. âI donât care what I eat, Leianna. Iâm just not hungry right now.â
The cleric shrugged, still chewing. âSuit yourself.â Taking another bite, she looked off to the side in thought. âMan, all theyâve got left around here is cheese and jerky.â
âNot much else can last months without spoiling,â Lexius noted.
âHey, Iâm not complaining. Foodâs food, and cheese and jerky are damn fine.â
Lexius sighed. The priest looked sullen and out of it. Leianna noticed this, and gave him a questioning look.
âWhatâs wrong?â
âIâm just...I wish I could have...been of more use.â
âHow so?â
The man held his hands out. âI...I was poor support on the field. Iâm an awful combatant. I spent half my time here bedridden. I failed to come prepared. I...I even...Leianna, if I had been with you when we split into two groups...perhaps Basilrinâs brother and Tourthun would be-â
âHey. Monk boy.â Leianna gave him a firm glare, as if chastising him. âListen to me, you fool. You came here of your own volition. You waltzed into a hellhole full of the darkest beings the world can offer with scrappy armor, a chipped iron blade and a tiny wooden shield. You never trained for combat. You healed a goddamned DRAGON, Lexius.â
He was about to respond, but Leianna put a hand on his shoulder and smiled. âYou kicked ass out here. No one expected some guy from a church to make it this far, but here you are.â
The priest lowered his head and laughed. Leianna raised a brow. âErr...Lexius?â
âHeh...yeah, I guess youâre right. No use in feeling sorry for myself. I did what I could. Thatâs...all you can really do.â
âHey, thatâs the spirit!â Leianna grinned and patted him on the shoulder. âLook, Iâve got plenty of things I wish Iâd done differently too, but thereâs no turning back the clock. You live with what you do, and you do the best you can.â
Lexius looked up at the cleric hopefully. âSister Leianna...could you join me in prayer?â
The woman shrugged. âI donât see why not.â She shoved the rest of the jerky in her mouth, chewing loudly as she rushed to finish her meal.
Lexius took out his cross, from under his armor. The small, wooden symbol appeared hand-carved by him, if its quality was any indication.
Leianna wiped her mouth and took out her own, pulling it from a pouch. The handheld crosses were more good luck charms than anything, not blessed or magical in any way. It was a simple reminder of God, carried on each church memberâs person to serve as a constant source of hope and faith.
Lexius bowed his head, cross clutched underneath his hand and held onto by both hands. Leianna followed the gesture.
âThrough God and the intercession of Saint Martin, we stand firm against the work of the enemy,â Lexius said, his voice low and clear.
âWe thought we may have died and been sent to the underworld for our transgressions, for we are surrounded by grinning faces of demons,â Leianna continued. The pair continued to alternate between each line.
âEven in death, even in the underworld, despite our true odds, we will never waver. Such is the burden of the faithful.â
Lexiusâ eyes were squeezed tight as he brought the prayer to a close. âGuide us now, for we do the bidding of the Lord, our God. Allow us to fulfill our duty, no matter the cost. No matter the costâŠâ
âAmen.â
Despite having reached the end, Lexius did not rise as Leianna had.
âNo matter the costâŠâ
The cleric looked at the priest with a notable degree of concern. âLexiusâŠ?â
âNo matter the costâŠâ

âThis catastrophe was man-made! Iâve seen it for myself!â
Charles stood among a group of humans, the first few militiamen who had answered the call. Several of them, in their light uniforms of cloth and wielding simple weapons, leered at him in disdain.
Though Alexander and the others had been through enough with the magician to trust him, but as he had always been told, the common folk saw him as little more than a monstrous chimera.
âWhat the hell do you know?!â one of the levies shouted, eliciting cries of agreement throughout the crowd.
âI recovered documents from the college! One of the wizards said himself that he did it!â
âOh yeah?! Whereâs your proof?â
Charles frowned. âI gave them to my friend, the professor. He left with the rest of the citizens in the evacuation.â
âHow awfully convenient,â one of the men mused. A few voice called out in agreement once more.
âWhatever!â the dragonoid cried, throwing his hands up, âI donât care if you believe me or not! The truth will come out on its own!â
âYeah right. I bet YOU did it!â
âM-me?!â Charles reeled back, âWhy would I do that?!â
âItâs in your blood!â Cheers erupted through the crowd at those words, the magician clutching at his shoulders defensively.
âT-thatâs not true. I make my own path...my origins do not determine my futureâŠâ
âYeah, right! Say, if youâre one of them...I wonder if youâve got any secrets youâre hidingâŠ?â
A few men stepped forward, their stances clearly hostile. Their eyes glinted with malicious intent, and their grin were anything but friendly.
âW-whatâs this?!â Charles shouted, shaken. He backed up, nervous about where this was going.
âWhy are you wearing that?â one of the men asked, reaching out for his wizard hat. Though he grabbed it, Charles threw his arm away, clutching onto the hat possessively.
âDonât touch me! Donât touch my things! They arenât yours!â
The man smirked. âAre you hiding something under there, beast?â
Their approach quickened, even as the dragonoid began backpedaling.
âL-leave me alone! Stop it!â
âShow us what youâre hiding!â Several shouts rang out through the Citadel. Some from the mob of soldiers, some from citizens around the camp that saw what was happening.
Charles, focused on the approaching men, failed to notice a rock behind him. His foot slipped as he tripped over it, falling to the ground on his back. He sat up, and just as it looked like the mob was about to descend on himâŠ
âThatâs ENOUGH!â
Blinking, the fallen dragonoid looked over to the source of the bellowing voice. Sure enough, the knight was stomping over, though not in his armor. Still, he had his sword on his hip, and looked suitably authoritative enough anyway. Behind him, a few others followed, most notably Wurie.
âCausing trouble, are we?â
The knightâs demeanor seemed to shake the mob of levies out of it, many quickly backing away from Charles.
âW-we were just-â
âHarassing the people you were sent to help? Yeah, I noticed. Whatâs next? Gonna mug a few of the wolves? Attack the birds?â
âNo,â a single voice answered meekly. The knight scowled at the group.
âWhich one of you imbeciles is in command here?â He demanded. A lone soldier answered.
âCaptain Howard, sir. Heâs outside.â
Alexander stepped forward and grabbed the man by the neck, pulling him close. The others gasped, but didnât interfere.
âTell your captain to get his men under control,â he growled, voice dripping with venomous hostility, âNOW.â
âY-yessir,â he squeaked, stumbling backwards as Alexander released him.
âCrawl on out of here, all of you. Youâre not welcome.â
As the group turned to leave back through the sewers, the knight called out one last time.
âIf I catch you attacking any more citizens, youâll be hanging from his majestyâs gallows for treason!â
As the group fled, Alexander turned to Charles, still sitting on the ground. He quickly extended a hand. âYou all right?â
âI-I think so.â the magician grabbed the manâs hand, letting himself be pulled to his feet with a grunt.
âAh...thank you, Alexander.â
âDonât worry about it. The nerveâŠ!â
Charles smiled as he dusted himself off. âIâm thankful to have friends in such affluent stationsâŠâ
The knight grimaced. âI donât like throwing my weight around, but in these situations I hardly have a choice.â
âWhat in the world was that?â Wurie asked, âThey were like...common rabble! Like the thugs whose fights I had to break up back in the day!â
âThatâs what happens with the army,â Alexander noted. He frowned as he looked over to the exit, hands on his hips.
âThese arenât elite soldiers of the king. These arenât contractors or professionals. These are levies, militia and common folk. They donât have the discipline a lifer has. Force them to stay on duty without an enemy to fight, and eventually theyâll starting picking their own fights.â
Wurie tilted his head. âSounds like youâve dealt with this before.â
âComes with the territory. Command enough armies and you know the best and worst of it inside and out.â
âStill...unacceptable,â muttered Wurie. He looked deeply wounded by the proceedings.
âCaptain? You okay?â
The wolfman shook his head. âItâs...nothing. Just remembering the exile.â
âSimilar treatment?â
âVery.â
Alexander crossed his arms. âThings are going to change around here. I donât know how, but they will.â
Wurie smiled despite himself. âI...appreciate the optimism. I would say I donât believe it but...I already said that about you saving our people. I fear Iâd be eating my words yet again if I said such a thing!â
The knight shrugged, a small smile at the corner of his lips. âGuess weâll just have to see, huh? So how aboutâŠâ

Explaining the behaviors i grew up around to explwin why im like this. Started writing at 3:06AM and finished at 3:48AM
So basically in tennessee where i was born my uncle was an alcoholic pothead. We used to like plsy wrestle a lot and once i accidentally kicked him in the balls now obviously his natural reflex was to push me and i literally flew out that room so hard i nearly fell down the stairs. I broke my right arm. And i forgive him not just because he apologized but he stopped drinking because of that. He now only drinks on holidays or his birthday. Anyways, i grew up for 5 years around christians, witches, and 2 stoners.
my moms cousin was problematic af if he was famous twitter would cancel him harder than anyone else ever bc of this shit that traumatized me. Ill start with what only traumatized me for like 2 years, but then whatll haunt me forever.
So when i was 3, he was cleaning the cat litter. We had 4 cats at the time so there was a lot of shit in the litter. I was trying to get his attention bc i ended up with the room he used to hsve and i didnt want all the hotwheels cars on the wall, and i wanted to ask if hed take them down. Apparently i bugged him so much that he picked me up and put me in the trashcan w i t h t h e c a t s h i t l i t t e r wnd thats why i never went around big trashcans for 2 years.
Now im never gonna forget this. So he and my dad were having a small disagreement bc he did something wrong on a car they were trying to fix (they used to do that together) and well that turned into a full blown fight. Doors were broken, holes were msde in walls, amd my 3 year old self hsd to stand by the stairs and watch paralyzed by fear. Luckily my aunt called the cops and they stopped the fight before it got too bad wnd they were hurt n shit. But i will never forget watching my dad duct tape my kom's cousin's mouth shut and hearing the police sirens and seeing th lights outside.
Anyways, the people who owned the family home died and we had to move. My granddad on my dads side of the family let us stay 2ith. This dude names T.R. (im not giving out real names, but he used his initials as a nicknwme so we'll call him that.) He wasnt that bad of a guy, except for the fact that i developed insomnia due to not being abl3 to sleep til he went to bed at 5am bc of how loud he had his video games. We wouldve said something but we didnt wannw be rude and i think TR just dirntt think we could hear it. He couldnt real,y afford to take care of his dog with the job he had, and while my dad had a good paying job hed help take care of the fluffy chow he had. But after a while, we couldnt afford it either ehen my dad as unemployed and when we went to get him taken to the shelter to be put down (he was really old and miserable, he hardly got any attention bc 1 tr worked until nighttime 3very day just to afford rent and shit for him snd the dog to live off of, and 2 he was really skittish wnd an outside dog in a pen (though the pen was big enough for him and it had a roof and a little house n stuff, everything was just a bitndirty yeet) so he hardly got contact with people.) He kinda jumped out and ran away. He got ran over later on, sadly.
Once id been in georgia for about a year with an empty house next door (they were renovating it so ppl could live there and they wouldnt have to demolish the building since it was good on the outside and all that), my old neighbors/family friends moved in. This little autistic boy a year younger than me exactly (same day but he was born a year after me), his mom who laypter suffered an aneurysm and was paralyzed on all her right side, and her oldest kid mason who wprked at gamestop. You can tell what he looked like just ehen u think that he worked at gamestop and loved legend of zelda. Anyways, this kid and i hsd a lot of fun bc we hsd a lot in common and we both loved nsture and stuff like that. After abt 2 years, we uhh... did bad shit, we stole alcohol and got drunk n shit, hed steal his moms weed (it was illegal weed, she didnt have a card to get it for medical reasons at the time and btw this is after the aneurysm) and sell it to kids he met in the woods. See in the woods by my house theres a small-ish clearing where the property owners hunt and ride four wheelers n stuff, and we were all told we were allowed bsck there as long as the ppl who owned the property werent and we had to wear orange or bright neon yellow in hunting season in case they came bsck there thyd know it was people. This kid nearly got me to join this "gang" he called it. I was pure and innocent back then and said no bc in order to get in i had to cut myself (i had depression but not bad enough to wanna hurt myself or anything, and i hsd no clue wbt self harm or anything i was fuckin 8) and i just told them that me selling shit we werent supposed to hsve in school (candy/gum, slap bracelets, stuff that an 8 year old shouldnt have access to) was good enough for me. However, i wonder what happened to those kids. Theyre probably in high. School juuling in the bathroom lol. But anyways,this fuckin kid and i got drunk together a couple times when we'd sneak off into the woods and trespass n shit and after a while of not seinf each other, we got to meet sgain. I explained to him what being trans was and that i was a guy and he deadass just told me i already acted like one and he accepted me and called me a guy whenever we were alone (i wasnt out to my family yet). But then his house started falling apart and he moved and we havent seem each other in q year and a half. However, we might get to celebrate our next birthdsy together. We never got the chance to before and if i dont have company over next year on my birthday we might get to celebrate together :)
Some more shit abt this kid: he was the only friend i had up until fourth grade when i started selling art and being less of an asshole. And he knows more about me than any friend i have or used to have. Im the only person other than his mom who understands his memtal disorder so when my mom would babysit him i had to go over there after school in case something happened i could calm him. But uhh yeah this kid and i had some fun times and i hope i get to see him again soon. He still lives in the same city, just on the other side of the city.
About this area, basically im surrounded by woods and rednecks. Neighbors on the right are nice sweet old ppl the neighbors on the left are shady af and we in the white ghetto virtually. The hood is right down the street to the left and im scared to go there unless i was in public school on the bus or like if i had pepper spray lol.

hi contemplating on making a second claim. how does this effect my renewal premium? situation is the policy holder had an accident where the third party was at fault and this claim was dealt with few months ago. now a named driver had a piece of metal flung at the car. the excess is only 50 and estimated cost to repair independantly 150-200. but i'm not sure how much premiums usually go up by? if for example making a second claim bears not much difference as a claim has already been made then I might as well do it through insurance. id also like a third character to be affected by your choices. i consider rhia/elliot to be one âcharacterâ in the sense that their outcomes are tied together - you effect them both, not just the individual. then theres your rival, with them possibly joining the Team. thing is, i cant realllly think of a third character that could fit this sort of idea. i COULD maybe play with the champion? but she wasnt going to be big, she was just gonna turn up a few times, doing good, yknow. helps arrest dante at the end when he attempts to flee after you kick his ass. maybe a few other times. though i could have it be that she actually is connected to the Org (but NOT the Team). so sheâs basically there whenever its Big Police time. she helps out whenever theyre doing big arrests, she responds to disasters, sheâs an honorary member. but how thatâd tie into YOUR decisions??? idk.Â
another alt was the Professor, but the issue is that, again, having your decisions affect her doesnt really make sense. PLUS, due to her being close friends with Elliot, itâd make far more sense for any changes to her coming through Elliot - like, her reacting differently if Elliot is e4 vs if Rhia is e4. especially since she knows about Seren (and also knew her, hence why Elliot told her about the thing), itd make far more sense to add her into the more developed rhia/elliot routes and not have her own. because then its like. real fucking tangled, dude. even with the two âroutesâ currently, as in, Rhia/Elliot and Rival, the amount of variables in the ONE scene is fucking mental. theres whether its reconcile or split (since its actually the culmination of the route), THEN theres whether your rival is Enemy, Neutral, or Friend. if Enemy, they will appear as a member of the Team and beat you up. if theyre neutral, they will not be present. if theyre Friend, they will be there with you and Elliot fighting off team. so thats, what, SIX different outcomes???? SIX versions of the same scene? fuck. god. holy shit. so the idea of having the Prof with a separate route that would also get tangled with the rhia/elliot thing is mental. plus, i like the idea of a route thats separate from this basically Mini Plot. something wholly unrelated.Â
maybe something really minor. a couple of minor characters who you see regularly. maybe its like..... a group of trainers from out of the region, like basically a bunch of young adults coming over to [Victoria] on a holiday who you meet when you first reach [Melbourne] and you see them constantly, you can hang out with them, they could have a side event where you all go explore a haunted house together. fuck. that actually sounds really fun. like, ooh, alright. so you meet them in the big city, a big bunch of friendly foreigners (a few loud, a few quiet, yknow), they ask directions and have a chat and they wave you on your way. you meet them again later, they meet up and give you like, some pokeballs for showing them where the pokemon centre was. youâll get some dialogue options, nothing major, where you can ask where theyâre all from, why theyre here, yknow. no real choices. though maybe how you react to each of their reasons will influence the group score. like, one of them would be a nerdy kid, whose reason for coming was because âthey wanted to see all the new floraâ (not pokemon because lol fucking try me lads im not doing fakemon) and you can say âwow nerdâ or âthats really cool!â and the former would subtract points and the latter would add points. really small stuff.
you have this sorta thing happen a few times. you see them all the time. theyre basically there every single town you go to. you dont see them at all in the big Team/Org finale. they dont get involved in any of the main plot stuff. they are wholly tangential and after your first encounters with them you can just fucking ignore em. loses points, obv, but yknow. now, either the haunted house happens before the team thing or after. im thinking before - a moment of optional levity before ~story shit~, right. thisâd be where BIG group points are. while youre in there, you can pull pranks, you can knock stuff over to scare some of them, or you can be super straight faced, you can soothe the ones who get spooked, like. you decide how to treat them about this. it might be case by case, like one character might really enjoy being startled (on some level, anyway) and you gain points, another character might burst into tears and run out of the house if you jump them, losing points, etc. its just you and a bunch of a friends in a big house. sorta like, oh god, wasnt there a haunted house in bw2? sorta like that, in that theres a specific linear path through the house, but along the way, you get little detours, you can interact with them, its just good fun. get a lot of points.
after the team climax, you PROBABLY still have a gym to go (+ the [Melbourne] badge if you skipped it by fighting Rhia earlier). you get to that next town, the group immediately mobs you, asking questions. youll get a few choices here, like you can tell em to fuck off (nice going, asshole), losing a shit ton of points but one of them will go âthat bad, huh? aightâ and theyll all back off. you can tell them the truth, or you can ~embezzle~ it, have some fun. theyâll love it. theyre a bunch of fun jokesters. theyâll probably check at the end like âwow, really?â and if you say ânah totally falseâ theyll be sorta peeved, but if you say âwellllll most of itâ theyll go âaw, sweetâ and theyll each decide what they believe. smth like that.
their route probably culminates when you reach the elite 4. you reach the champions village (for lack of better term, because i really like the idea of there being a small town built around the Pokemon League, if for no other reason than to act as housing for the e4 and champ), and the groups there again. sorta lost for ideas here specifically. like, if youve been as ass, theyll be laughing, having fun, then react to you coming and going âoh... hey... here to challenge the league yeh?â âyeaâ âwell. good luck?â and then thatll basically be it. a few of them might not even talk to you. like just total silence. but if youve been nice, youve been friendly, theyll greet you really excited, theyâll give you an item, might even take you to their ânew spotâ - a little grove off the village you can easily find yourself, but its past the point where you see them, yknow. so they take you there and theyll take a big picture with you and wish you luck. like itd just be big warm fun.
they might also have a âneutralâ route, sorta like your rival, where theyll greet you and give you an item but wont take you to the grove. they MIGHT appear after you beat the e4, but their route wouldnt really progress from there. or, maybe, an idea - if you treat them like shit, after you beat the e4, they leave. completely. theyve all gone home. theyll leave with a slightly bitter taste in their mouths. but if you treat them nice, or even just with some basic respect, theyll stick around and keep sightseeing after you beat the e4. they dont even remotely interact with the other routes at all. theyre totally separate, just having a good time. good good vacationing children. i like this.
