★彡You were a fan !?! (Feat. Idol! Reader)

Summary: Finding out they were a fan of you before you started dating each other

♡ Ibara

- Naturally, Ibara knows many idols in the idol industry be they soloists or groups, so of course he knew who you were

- He’s definitely a more lowkey fan and doesn’t outwardly talk about it to Eden or Nagisa

- He may have let a compliment slip once or twice while he was conversing with them but that should be it

- He actively listens to your music whenever he can since it lifts his spirits! And he never goes to meet and greets unless he has some excuse to be there (be it work or some other reason)

- He has a drawer of merchandise that he bought online but no one knows about it

- No one slipped up about the fact Ibara is a fan of you, you just went over to his house and found the drawer of your merchandise

“You never told me you collected merchandise” you whispered behind him in an attempt to scare him.

Turning around barely flinching, “nonsense, I have no idea what you’re talking about y/n”

You grinned, waving a small chibi keychain of yourself in front of him, expecting him to be flustered.

He leans further in, “hmm are you jealous? I can toss all this merchandise if u want, I don’t necessarily need it now that I can see the real thing”

♡ Chiaki

- Chiaki was introduced to you when Ryuseitai were watching a complication of idol soloists, and he was oddly drawn to you

- He was always finding excuses to buy merchandise of you at the stores

- “Kanata, it’s not that pricey, I need a new keychain for my keys” “whatever you say chiaki~”

- But of course he never kept to his word and now he’s actively collects all of your merchandise, always ready whenever there’s a new restock or new kind of merch

- He’s the kind who would sit in front of the television wearing an official T-shirt and light sticks and start cheering and singing along loudly

- And of course it’s Tetora who lets it slip during one of your conversations

“Omg Chiaki did you know what a heard today?” You grinned, “you used to be my fan?”

His expression morphed into one of panic as he waved his hands worriedly. “NONO don’t misunderstand! I love your music but I just never had a chance to bring it up to you”

“After all, I didn’t want you to think I’m dating you because of your fame, you give me courage that’s why I’m your fan, your greatest fan” before enveloping you into a hug.

♡ Nagisa

- you never quite understood how you managed to catch the attention of the majestic Nagisa Ran. Well in fact, you caught his attention first

- He chances upon your performances when Ibara was doing research on idol soloists and he was immediately enchanted

- Nagisa is the type of fan who you’d hardly see at fan meets but he’s a casual merchandise collector! If he ever does go to fan meets, he wears a mask and black cap all blushy as he comes to shake your hand

- And luckily, you noticed him due to his idol activities. It wasn’t shocking when you both came out as a couple either, after all who could miss the longing gazes he sends you ever so often?

- However, when Hiyori mouth accidentally runs loose and reveals some really important information, you can’t help but go straight to nagisa to ask him yourself

“You were my fan?” You asked, wide-eyed.

Upon hearing your random question, Nagisa let out a soft sigh but patted the seat next to him, signaling for you to come over.

“Hm I never told you well” he averted his gaze away from you “it’s embarrassing…”

You cooed as you reached out to hold his face, “aww that’s adorable nagisa, it shows how much you care for me even before we properly interacted!”

“You were too stunning for me to peel my eyes away” pressing a soft kiss on your cheek, “if I didn’t fall for you then I would have fallen for you some other time”.

☆ I like to imagine Ibara as a person who's pretty much clueless about romantic relationships - and it worries him!! He is THE Ibara Saegusa after all ,, However, after becoming his partner you discover that he's been binge-watching rom-coms to help him understand. - You found it adorable actually! The thought of him using his free time watching these cheesy movies. All he wanted to know was how to treat you right. ☆ Ibara is very much a sleepy cuddler. It took him some time, but after learning to be vulnerable with you he started to become more clingy. He likes to rest his head on your shoulder, his arms loosely around you as he takes a short break. - He finds that with you, rest comes easier. ☆ He has a soft, reserved just for you. His eyes become slightly glossy as he notices you shining. He's proud of you but sometimes there's a voice in his head that tells him he didn't contribute to your achievements - you did them on your own. Yet, he still can't help his pride. - He did help you, however. It's unfortunate that it's hard for him to believe. He doesn't know how much the gentle squeeze he gives your hand whenever you are nervous helps. He doesn't know how much the confident nod he gives you across the stage helps. He doesn't know how much every kiss he gives helps. ☆ Often, Ibara plays with your hair idly. A hand gently massages your scalp as he reads with the other. Ibara gives you a soft kiss on your head before you fall asleep. ☆ You've seemed to become his kryptonite ,, It's difficult to be upset with you for long, if ever. When he is, it's usually him pressing a kiss on your hand and refusing to give one anywhere else. - How evil of him ?! - By the end of the day, he always gives into his temptations.

☆ Ibara is a very dotting significant other! He makes sure that you are prepared for the weather, that your food has the nutrients you need and much more. - He gets annoyed at you a little whenever you fall sick - it doesn't stop him from staying by your side though. He makes sure there's a hot soup prepared for you and checks your temperature regularly. Then, if you fall asleep... You might catch him holding your hand.

SAEGUSA IBARA

You probably do not remember a childhood with your older brother… probably. Considering Ibara had went to a military when he was a child you have barely any thought that you had another sibling.

The past’s vague though – not much people know about it, and it’s only some that know the full story of you and your older brother.

It was around middle school and high school when the two of you started to act like… well, siblings, really. Oddly enough when you started to hang around him more he decided to let you be – no harm would be done, would it?

Ah… how wrong he was with his own statement… Ibara now has to take care of his younger sibling that’s potentially touch starved and needs emotional support – which he is not very good at.

Has definitely made you cry more than once because of his soldier like behaviour – and he himself thinks that he should change that way of demeanour because he does not want to be the root cause of your trauma and trust issues later on if he continues.

And he does not want to make you cry because calming you down is something very, very difficult to do and sometimes feels like a life or death mission at times.

He is a caring brother however; giving you help when you needed and listening to your thoughts and stories. Ibara doesn’t really mind you clinging onto him like there’s no chance of living tomorrow – he won’t admit that he feels proud that you see him reliable.

Everyone near the vicinity could hear you crying – and many started panicking as they knew that you would stop crying soon. Some had even seeked out for your older brother to help you, but once they did they were rather too intimidated to go up to Ibara and say that you were crying.

Your main reason of wailing? You had missed your older brother dearly as you were not able to see him for a good few days. And you felt abandoned. You were wandering around where you thought your brother should be in.

And now, you were lost. Very lost.

It had carried on for a good few hours until Ibara had managed to get out of the room and grumble at the familiar sound of his younger sibling’s crying.

Finding his way to you, you stop as you blink to see your older brother in front of you, arms crossed. You smile as you walk to him, arms outstretched as you hug him tight.

Ibara eventually breaks out to a – rare – small smile as he hugs you back. Even if you were clingy, it still felt nice to have a younger sibling that felt safe around him.

TOMOE HIYORI

Your childhood with your family was quite memorable – your first meeting with Nagisa, the small play fights that had happened between you three, Hiyori’s mother hen like attitude when it came to your bedtime… and the list goes on.

Hiyori does not mind you being clingy to him – rather it makes him more happy that you give him your undivided attention to him. Though he does have to remind you that you should be toning your clinginess to him down.

Same as he did for Nagisa in childhood, he acts like the second parent, or the father that you never had, to you. Hiyori has taught you some of the most basic things to the much more difficult and intricate things – which you are grateful for.

As an idol, he wants you to see the better things about him rather than the more ‘uglier’ points that he says himself. He knows that you wouldn’t really change your opinion on him, yet he’s still afraid that there would be a chance that you might, and that your attention would turn to both your eldest brother instead.

Many around you two have called the two of you ‘unseparable siblings’ which is partially true. You can be separated from your older brother – but it was just the anxiety that had came around when you did so.

Hiyori does help you with your separation anxiety from him – and he knows that it’s a difficult process, but he tries his best. Your whole family doesn’t know how you had gotten separation anxiety, but they do their best.

There have been some times where Hiyori and your eldest brother have had a small rivalry between ‘who gets to hang out with (y/n) first’, in childhood, and it was mostly Hiyori that won – much to your eldest brother’s dismay.

You follow your older brother’s footsteps as you both walk into a meeting room where the other three members of Eden had waited. Ibara looks at you with a quirked brow, Jun also watching you closely, while Nagisa payed no mind to your form hiding away from the three behind Hiyori’s back.

Your older brother laughs sheepishly as he sits down, you following along as you sit next to him.

“They won’t do any harm, I swear! We were late because we kind of… got lost.”

Ibara sighs as he cuts out on his scolding, turning his attention back to whatever he was taking about. Jun, still feeling slightly skeptical, turns his head back to Ibara slowly, hesitation still in his mind.

The meeting continued, and you really didn’t do anything except for tug on your older brother’s sleeve or play with a pen on the desk. The meeting soon had ended and you were tired – and well, sleepy. Yawning, you stand up, wobbling slightly from the numbness in your legs from sitting too long.

Hiyori notices as he gestures to you to come over. You do as told, and eventually, you were being carried by piggyback, your head drooping down to his shoulder as Hiyori chuckles.

It was nice to have a younger sibling.

Realizes his mistake as soon as he calms down. He's vulnerable during the heat of the moment, and because of that weakness he hurts you. He cares for you, he really does, so immediately he goes to you and apologizes and admits that he was in the wrong. So please accept it, because the poor man keeps breaking his heart over your tear-stricken face. Definitely will need some hugs and cuddles and needs you reassuring him that you still love the man.

Knows what he did was wrong but won't fess up. He has a reputation to protect, even if it means that he has to work with the growing guilt on his shoulders. Because of that he brings down everybody else around him, and you are sent to settle things with him. As soon as you talk to him the dam breaks, and he's on his knees, apologizing for the pain that he has caused you. When in reality, it scared him more...

Acts like nothing went wrong. It's a sort of coping mechanism for him; he just plays it off like nothing happened (this is after you were the one to apologize). But deep down he still regrets what he did to you, and that little part is pushing him to relent and confess. It's going to take quite a while for him to actually say something about it, but for now he won't be worrying about it. For now.

☆ — NAGiSA RAN !!

nagisa has absolutely no objections to your doting. in fact, he often smiled when you would compliment him or show him a lot of love.

he very rarely returned your compliments or anything of what you said, opting out for a noticeably happy expression. it meant a lot to him, but he had very few words to actually express it.

on the contrary, when it came down to physically affection, he was quite quick to return the favor, although you could tell he was slightly taken aback everytime.

nagisa doesn't get a lot of affection, so he often made efforts to show you how much he appreciated it. usually, you would end up with a shiny rock or gemstone that he claimed "reminded him of you."

he would always deny the gifts you gave him at first, purely out of politeness, but after a little bit of reassurance, he's more than happy to take whatever you're gifting him.

nagisa finds your words cheesy, yet awfully cute, and would sometimes write them down if he remembered to.

☆ — iBARA SAEGUSA !!

ibara was the type to pretend like you weren't purposefully being nice to him and that was just how you were with everyone. whether that was true or not he did not care.

while he does return your affection, he also doesn't actively seek it out, though he's quite loud and excitable on the surface. still, ibara would always, without missing a single time, return whatever act of love you show.

he sometimes buys you gifts, other times he opts for making them himself, despite the very packed schedule he already has almost constantly. you told him he didn't have to, but he insisted it was better than spending money.

sometimes the two of you would go into full out debates (this is entirely ibara's fault) over who's logically the best between you. and, despite ibara's high ego, he did not like losing and would therefore argue against your point.

although he always refused it, you also made every attempt to care for his physical health as well, even forcing him to stop his work if he went too long without a break.

ibara would absolutely never admit to it, but your constant love and affection motivates him to work harder for you.

☆ — HiYORi TOMOE !!

doting on hiyori just resulted in a lot of back and forth arguing of who's the "cutest" "prettiest" "bestest" or whatever else you two came up with. he was a very affectionate person and he would definitely show it, especially when you start complimenting him first.

hiyori's favorite thing is hugging you so tight that you almost feel suffocated (in the good way, of course), purely in the hopes that you'd try to one up him with affection.

he was the one who started giving you gifts first, but somehow he was also the one who ended up with the most gifts. you could see his eyes light up everytime he liked something, which is why you would often spoil him.

due to his energetic nature, hiyori very rarely notices when he's sick or strained and therefore forgets to take care of himself. that's where you step in, constantly making sure he's okay and even taking care of him when he was sick.

hiyori didn't say it a lot, but his expression made it very clear that he was incredibly happy every time you did anything for him.

☆ — JUN SAZANAMi !!

jun would never get used to it. he's told you so, multiple times actually, but has never said he minded it.

every kiss and hug was reciprocated and he would often go to you himself, just being content with whatever it was. he knew how sweet you were and he wasn't expecting much else.

taking care of him wasn't exactly easy, because jun was quite wild despite everything. he was used to physical strain and had little care for it, since he could take care of himself. still, you giving him massages was never something he would say “no” to.

jun didn't care about whether he was pampered or not, but he never knew how to respond to anything that wasn't physical affection.

complimenting him would result in him thinking for two seconds, before always responding with the same compliment you gave him

giving him gifts would make him so taken aback, that he even has a debate with himself (yes, verbally) on whether he should even accept it or not, knowing he could barely repay you for it. the only reason he even accepts any gift at all is because you assure him endlessly that, “yes, it's okay, it was for him so there was no need to pay you back.”

a/n : my silly lil snake man does indeed deserve more love. he’s so scrimbly i love him sm, also i changed my layout again bc im indicisive. and i may have gone overboard.. again. (IM A CLINGY!IBARA TRUTHER I CANT BE STOPPED)

It wasn’t uncommon for Ibara to act vulnerable around you. For someone who’s known and described as a “venomous snake” by others, he sure is soft and sweet when he’s alone with his beloved. Ibara isn’t fond of talking about his past either, especially during his time in middle school.

But you’re his partner. He can trust you, right? For someone as kind as you, why would you stay with someone like him?

Ibara was so deep in his thoughts, that he failed to notice his partner repeatedly call out his name. A sudden poke on his shoulder was enough to snap him out of his senses. "Oh. It’s just you, (name)." He lets out a deep sigh, smiling softly. "What's wrong? Did you need anything?"

Right. They probably just want something in return. That’s why they’re staying with me.

"You’ve been spacing out for the past few minutes. Are you okay? Do you need to rest? I can go home if you want me to." You said, more than willing to give your boyfriend his well-deserved rest and time to himself. After all, he is a very busy, busy man. Ibara responded by rapidly shaking his head, gently wrapping his hand around your wrist, and pulled you back on the couch with him.

"Stay. I’m fine," He grumbled, avoiding your gaze as he was naturally embarrassed by his actions. "I'm just thinking." Followed by a huff, Ibara rests his head on your shoulder. He’s clingier than usual today.

You proceeded to gently play with his hair. He hums as a sign for you to keep going. "Hey, love?" Your boyfriend called out, your face flushing into a shade of pink upon hearing the sudden nickname. "Y-yeah? What’s up?" Ibara could only chuckle at your adorable reaction.

"I wasn’t happy when I was in the military, you know." Your expression softened. You weren’t oblivious. You knew how much he despised his early childhood. You never bothered asking about it as it was a topic that Ibara wanted to keep to himself until he was ready. "It was harsh. For a kid like me? I don’t even know how I stayed for that long." He continued, looking up at you in order to make sure you were listening.

"I’m scared, (name)." Ibara confesses, while you could only look at him in worry. "I’m scared that you don’t love me the way I do. I’m scared that you’re only using me in order to get something in return." He paused, thinking as if he wanted to show you something, but is quite hesitant. "I’m scared that if you see it, you’ll leave me."

"It's okay to be scared. But, I can assure you, that I want nothing in return. I'm simply with you because I want to," Your hand left his head to cup his face with both hands. "I won't ever leave you— whatever it is, it won’t be enough for me to leave." Ibara’s eyes were slightly widened, a shade of red hue plastered all over his (pretty) face.

He’s in a vulnerable state. You’re trusted, fully trusted, more than anything and anyone. Ibara slowly lifted his shirt, avoiding your face, afraid of what expression you may have on right now. "There's… alot of them. I know it’s dumb, I know it isn't like me to feel so… bothered about this kind of stuff. I don't know why I can't just ignore it. It feels so disgusting. I don't want you to find me gross, or icky."

"Ibara…" You sighed, trying to find the right words to say. "I'm happy that you trusted me enough to open up to me. I don't think you're gross, or disgusting, anything like that." You grinned as an idea popped into your head. "I can kiss them better, if you'd like."

Ibara blinks. "K-kiss it better?" He finally looked at you— your face, just like his, was red. Though, your expression showed nothing but pure genuine.

"Mhm! That way, I can show that I'll stay with you until the day I die!" You exclaimed, while your boyfriend finally let out a small and quiet laugh. "I don't think I like the sound of you dying, but I'd love for you to kiss it better."

a/n » on my clingy ibara bullshit again

it was a well-known fact that ibara was an incredibly busy person due to the numerous responsibilities he had to shoulder, often working late into the night. usually, he was fine even if he had stayed up late and he managed to go about the next day as if he wasn't exhausted.

you scolded him multiple times for this, but he brushed off your worries every single time, assuring you that he would be fine, just like always. and yet as if the gods had decided to mock him that day, he wasn't — he woke up as though he had been hit by a truck; his head was pounding and he felt like he would've keeled over if it weren't for the fact that he was lying down.

much to his relief, you entered the room not long after, holding a tray of food along with medication. "you should've listened to me when i told you to rest, love." you said, a knowing smile etching its way onto your face as he let out a huff while crossing his arms. you placed the tray on the bedside table, seating yourself beside him on the edge of the mattress as your lips met his forehead.

he pouted when you pulled away, much like a child throwing a tantrum. you paid no mind to his unpleased expression in favour of spooning some of the porridge you had made and holding it in front of his mouth. you had decided that since he was acting like a child, you'd treat him like one; "here comes the airplane!" you said, holding back a laugh at his disgusted expression.

"i can feed myself." he responded while trying to pry the spoon out of your hands and failing miserably when you gently shoved the food into his mouth. "too bad." you take the bowl into your hands, feeding him another spoonful as the pout on his face resurfaced. after he had eaten all of it, you made him drink the medication you had brought and held back another laugh at the face he made as he tasted it.

he opened his arms for you to crawl in between, confusion washing over his expression as you hesitated. weighing out the pros and cons, you came to the conclusion that holding him was more important than the possibility of you getting sick as well.

you wrapped your arms around him, giggling shortly when you heard him breathe a sigh of relief. ibara could get used to this; getting babied by you (as much as denied liking it), you paying extra attention to him, the feeling of your hands lovingly running through his locks as you held him — he wanted it to be like this forever, just the two of you.

and at that moment, ibara had decided that maybe being sick wasn't all that bad.

"Why is the love of my life so gloomy today?" he asks, noticing your lack of enthusiasm when he recounted his day. "Are you alright? What's wrong?"

– Ibara knows exactly what to do whenever you're sad. He's very observant of what makes you happy, so he's going to do anything and everything to get you back to your bright self.

– Whether it be cuddles, kisses or any sort of affection you want from him, he'll easily do it.

– He'll probably cook you your favourite dish without you having to ask for it. He just likes doing these things for you whether you're happy or not.

– Most importantly, whenever you're sad, he wants you to let it all out, willing to listen to all your rants. If you're not in the mood to talk to him, he'll leave you be, but he won't leave the room until you're better. He will always lend you a hand if you need it.

He tries to hint that he likes you through like subtle flirting. Kind of. It isn't pick up lines or anything too flashy though. He teases you a fair bit

Everyday, he tries to match the time that you reach school. So that he can "not so coincidentally" meet you near school, for those extra minutes to talk to you

If you come to school earlier than him, he will run to catch up to you, out of breath but still able to give you a smile

He also gives you small compliments every single day. But unfortunately you don't get the message behind any of them.

"Y/n! You look great today!" "Y/n! did you do something to your skin? it looks super good today!"

Poor Hinata. Not only do you not get the message, you also tend to pull a reverse card on him, to his dismay. "Hinata, you look really good yourself!"

Bless his heart honestly, he is trying so hard.

"Y/n!" You feel someone tap you on your shoulder. Hinata greets you with a cute little wave of his hand, the other holding on to an opened sweet drink. "Y/n. Take a sip, the drink is newly released so I don't think you've tried it before"

You accepted the drink, the slightly cold sensation against your fingertips, startly you. Gulping down a little of it and proceeding to wipe the remnants off your lips. "Well i have to go, thanks for the drink!" waving goodbye.

His eyes widens in bewilderment as you pass the drink back to him, alas another attempt failed. He stares at the opening of the bottled drink and sighs. You'll realise it soon at least he hopes.

"Aniki, if you think they will ever realise your advances, at this rate, you'll get nowhere!" Yuta shakes his head disapprovingly, he clearly has seen this scene unfold before his very eyes one too many times.

Hinata attempts to deny his brother's claims, but even he knew that no matter how many subtle hints he dropped, it still wouldn't be enough.

"Alright Yuta! We have a confession to plan!"

He invites you to CrazyB practices, which he has never done to anyone. Ever. Even the rest of CrazyB is shocked.

Tries to seek you out during his extra time to go out like HiMERU suggested. Tried his very best to make bento like Niki taught him.

"Ok so Kohaku! You got this ok, we are rooting for you!" Niki encourages enthusiastically. Today is the day he was going to confess to you, he was so nervous he could feel the sweat droplets sliding down his back.

Kohaku nods frantically in CrazyB direction (they were all hiding behind the wall), and meets you at the spot he planned.

Once you arrived, he choked out a few words awkwardly "Please go out with me Y/n!"

You cocked your head to the side in confusion then suddenly, you slammed your first against your open palm. "Oh! Does CrazyB need me and you to go out and get something done?" Linking your arm to his, you pulled him along "C'mon Kohaku! No time to waste!"

Heaving a heavy sigh and a despondent air around him, he had no choice but to follow along. Head in his open palms, mumbling "back to the drawing board"

♡ Ibara

He is definitely a busy man but is always willing to put aside any time for you. One second, he could be tell Anzu that he is having quite the busy day.

And the next second, he sees you just down the corridor, "Y/n! is that you?" and chats up a storm.

Eden probably knows that Ibara has his eyes on you and they are either teasing him because of your obliviousness or giving him advice on how to confess (he takes all of their advice with a grain of salt).

He is also the first few to know if there is any rumours circulating about you and will always defend you first! He can think rationally about it later

He invites you on dinners regardless of whether or not its a fancy dinner at a restaurant or dinner at the office late at night. Once again I emphasise this, he hardly ever goes out of his way to invite someone to dinner like that.

"How long do you think it'll take for y/n to know that Ibara is interested in them?" Jun asked the group.

"Im giving it 3 months" Hiyori convulsed with laughter, just thinking back to all those times that Ibara advances completely flew over your head.

"Don't think so lowly of Y/n and Ibara, they have existing... potential" Nagisa attempted to defend Ibara, which caused Jun to stiffle his laughter.

"Stop it, y/n is just slow with my advances they will get understand eventually." Ibara finally spoke up in this discussion.

You knocked onto the Eden practice room door, Ibara requested for you to come meet him there. The door slides open and Ibara hands you a bag of treats. "Y/n hello! here you go"

"Woah where did you get so many treats from"

"They're just fan gifts" he replied nonchalantly.

"I don't think you should be regifting these-" a finger shushed you before you could finish your sentence. "Ibara! You should at least appreciate your fan's gifts! did you at least keep mine?" pouting a little from realisation that Ibara never takes fan gifts seriously.

"Of course I did, I kept some of them, I'm just regifting the treats I don't eat, don't worry too much about this" he softly manuvered your shoulders to face away from him and shoved you lightly away from the practice room. "Goodbye y/n! I'll meet you for dinner later"

"So whos gonna tell y/n that Ibara only kept her fan gift?" Hiyori questioned.

Make me laugh!

Ibara Saegusa x Platonic! Reader (Also Platonic! Eden x Reader)

Genre/s: Fluff

Word count: 2,084

Plot/summary: Eden and Ra*bits were participating in a game show called Bogie Time and you had a part in it as well. Your task for the idols was to make you laugh. You wondered how Ibara, your childhood friend, was going to take this...

After their previous round, Ibara had taken a break on his bed, his arm covering his eyes as he muttered complaints to himself. Hajime watched him quietly, wondering if his teammate was alright.

“Um… Saegusa-san,” he began. “Are you okay?”

Ibara sighed, but assured him that he was fine. He just didn’t want to be a part of this game show. They were already so far into it though, so sulking at this point was pathetic.

Ibara got up from his bed and walked over to the table in the middle of the room to join Hajime, who was already on his phone looking at the new announcement.

“This one’s from (Y/N),” Hajime stated which caused a furrowed eyebrow from Ibara.

“(Y/N), huh…?” Ibara murmured. “Whatever game she brings up might be bad…”

Ibara knew everything about you, being childhood friends after all. He was always by your side, but not until you decided to attend Yumenosaki instead of Shuuetsu. Of course, he didn’t mind it, and he even helped you with your application. So, it was a pleasant surprise you decided to apply for Cos Pro instead of the other three agencies. You were his closest friend, one that he loves dearly.

But knowing you, you might make his experience at Bogie Time even worse.

Hajime giggled nervously, “I-I’ll just read it.”

Ibara listened attentively as Hajime read the announcement out loud:

“(Y/N), an idol and producer at Cos Pro, has tasked the participants to make her laugh!”

Ibara blinked and stared at Hajime for him to continue, but that was the end of the announcement.

“‘To make her laugh,’” Ibara quoted. “I think I know where this is going.”

Hajime smiled, “So do I.”

The next day, the participants gathered around together at the Bogie Time stage. Hiyori did his bit with introducing the new episode, and afterwards, Jun introduced you to the audience.

“Hello, everyone!” you greeted excitedly, both to the participants and to the audience. “How are we feeling today?”

Ibara sighed, “(Y/N), please don’t act like the host.”

“Oh, my beloved Ibara,” you teased. “I was just having fun, hehe!”

The rest of the Eden members were happy to see you. You were really close to them and you would annoy them a lot with work at Cos Pro. You knew of Ra*bits too, since you attended Yumenosaki, so you immediately latched yourself onto Hajime who didn’t mind the affection.

“Anyways,” you began, letting go of the Ra*bits member. “The task I want you to do today is to make me laugh! So, let me tell you my rules…”

You proceeded with your conditions:

• Make (Y/N) laugh in under 30 seconds. Each member of a team has one chance.

• You can make (Y/N) laugh by the means of your actions or words, but you mustn't touch her (i.e. tickling).

• If you successfully make (Y/N) laugh, you earn 800 points. If you don’t by the time 30 seconds are up, you lose 300 points.

“That seems easy enough,” commented Jun.

“Mhmm,” Ibara agreed.

And as they both seemed like they read each other’s mind, they said, “Because (Y/N) laughs at almost everything.”

The first team to go up against you was Team God, Nagisa and Mitsuru.

“Are you ready for this, (Y/N)?!” exclaimed Mitsuru excitedly.

You would’ve smiled at his enthusiasm, but you were already in the zone of not trying to laugh, so you nodded eagerly without the emotion.

“Give it your best, Tenma-kun,” said Nagisa.

"Alright, here I go!" Mitsuru began. "Try to guess who I'm impersonating, (Y/N)!"

Oooh, an impersonation? you thought. That's a clever idea.

Mitsuru got into position. His eyes were closed as he took in a deep breath. Then out of nowhere, he went, "Waa! I need to get these done before the deadline which is months away! I'm going to keep working even when I need rest!"

Mitsuru was running around the place, pretending that he was working on a clipboard. This made you smile slightly as you already knew the person he was trying to imitate.

You burst out laughing when Mitsuru pretended to drop his 'glasses' and tried to find them on the floor.

"HAHAHA!" you laughed. "It's Tsumugi, right?!"

Mitsuru stopped acting to tell you that your answer was correct. He was indeed impersonating Tsumugi Aoba, his senior that he was roommates with.

"And Team God is awarded 800 points!" announced Hiyori. "This challenge seems easy, but we can't underestimate Cos Pro's beloved idol and producer. Maybe things will get harder! Who knows?"

It was Nagisa's chance to make you laugh. As he was getting into position, Ibara whispered his thoughts to Hajime.

"We might have a chance to come back around," he told him.

Hajime nodded in agreement, "Yes, I won't let you down!"

It wasn't hard for Nagisa to make you smile. He was so effortlessly funny without meaning to be. He was thinking of what to do to make you laugh, but you had immediately started giggling at his thinking expression.

"(Y/N), you didn't even give me a chance," he said, but he wasn't annoyed or anything. Nagisa gave you a soft smile as you spouted out your apologies.

In the end, Team God was awarded 1600 points. When it was Team Bunny's turn, Hiyori and Nazuna had a different strategy in mind. Hiyori was hoping to just tickle you, but Nazuna had to remind him that they weren't allowed touching. So, they ended up trying to woo you instead.

Now this was hilarious. Although you didn't laugh at Hiyori's attempt at wooing you, you couldn't stop your chuckles from escaping when it was Nazuna's turn.

"(Y/N), no fair!" Hiyori cried. "You didn't laugh when it was my turn!"

"That's because you always act that way around me!" you retorted back. "But Nazuna acting like that? That was so unexpected, hahaha!"

Nazuna was kind of embarrassed, but he was also proud of himself. Team Bunny was rewarded 800 points, but they technically only went up 500 points since Hiyori lost the 300.

Team Hyena was the same because you were finally getting serious. You laughed at the joke Tomoya tried telling you, but you kept a deadpan expression when it was Jun's turn.

"(Y/N), are you doing this on purpose?" Jun asked you, ruffling your hair in teasing frustration. "You tried your hardest to not laugh at my joke, I saw you!"

"No, it just wasn't funny!" you lied.

Lastly, it was Team Snakey's turn. Hajime had already thought of something to make you laugh with, but Ibara was still having trouble.

"You can do what I do!" suggested Hajime. "Just follow my lead!"

Ibara was surprised at the confidence his teammate was emitting.

"Alright, let's see what you have to offer," he said with a smile. "Good luck."

Hajime approached you, but stopped a metre away from you. He took in a deep breath and you could see that he was kind of nervous.

You can do it, Hajime! you cheered on in your mind.

Hajime suddenly straightened his back and saluted, "totsugeki; shinryaku; seiha!" at the top of his voice. The other participants were quiet and so were you. This wasn't what they expected coming from a little guy like Hajime.

But after a few seconds of Hajime trying to impersonate his teammate, you started laughing and wouldn't stop. You tried to cover your mouth and everything, even slight tears started to form in your eyes.

Ibara was absolutely baffled.

"HAHAHA!" you guffawed. "That was amazing, Hajime! I'm literally crying...! You did so well. I loved it! You sound so much like Ibara, hahaha!"

Ibara was kind of irked by your reaction, but Hajime was proud that he was able to make you laugh.

"T-Thank you, (Y/N)-san!" he replied happily.

The other Eden members had let out chuckles too. They agreed with your statement that Hajime did sound like Ibara. Unfortunately for Ibara, he couldn't defend himself as he was on TV, so he stayed quiet.

Hajime noticed his teammate's reaction and tried apologising, but Ibara was having none of it.

"Don't apologise," he said. "You did a good job. You actually did nail that impression."

"Oh! Um, thank you, Saegusa-san!"

"Alright, it's my turn now," Ibara sighed as he approached you.

"Yes, good luck!" cheered Hajime. "You can do it!"

Ibara stood in front of you and locked eyes with yours. You smiled at him, but in a way that would annoy him. You wondered what he was going to do for his act to make you laugh. You wondered whether he was able to make you laugh like the others because it was usually the other way around with your friendship with him.

And Ibara knew that too. You're the one who would try to make him laugh especially on rough days. You were a ray of sunshine and he was a dull, dark day that pretended to be sunny. He always appreciated your company and the warmth it provided him. But this time it was his turn to make you smile, and he really hoped you would smile from his words.

Despite Hajime's suggestion of just following his lead, Ibara decided not to do an impersonation of his teammate, and decided to do something more up your alley.

He decided to sing you one of your songs.

Yes, since you were an idol too at Cos Pro, you had songs of your own. You would usually write your own songs too, so they had a lot of meaning towards you. You gained a lot of popularity because of these songs as they were considered unique and new to the industry.

And Ibara was singing one of them right now — even dancing the choreography!

You were absolutely stunned and so were your fellow idols. They watched his performance without a word and when he was finished, he looked at you with a look that said, "So?"

You honestly didn't know how to react, but a smile appeared on your face and it wasn't because you found it funny though.

"That was so cute!" you laughed.

It was a genuine laugh, a laugh that told Ibara how much you appreciated him. Ibara stared at you in surprise. You actually liked that?

"That was a beautiful performance," you commented. "Let's collab together someday, okay?"

Ibara smiled, "I'll think about it."

Hajime congratulated Ibara on successfully making you laugh. The other members of Eden on the other hand teased him.

"With the challenge coming to an end, Team Snakey gained 1600 points!" Hiyori reported to the crowd. "We all did well everyone, so give yourself a round of applause!"

As Hiyori continued to announce who was in the lead (it wasn't Team Snakey), you walked over to Ibara to congratulate him.

"But we didn't win," he replied.

"Yeah, but it seemed like you were having fun there for a sec," you said. "I hope you continue to have fun. It's nice to see you act carefree, you know?"

He responded to your statement with a small smile.

[Extra]

A few days after all the stages have been completed, you found out that Ibara's team had lost. Hiyori had invited you to check out Ibara's punishment and of course you wanted to see what it was!

And there Ibara was, sitting at one of the tables wearing what seems to be a really cute outfit! He was also wearing extensions and jewellery. He really looked like a pretty girl!

You couldn't contain your excitement.

"Ibara, you look beautiful!" you squealed as you hugged him from behind before gasping at your inappropriate reaction. "Please cut that out!"

"Ugh, I hate this so much..." Ibara hissed from under his breath.

"But you really do look pretty," you tried complimenting.

"Yes, but a bunch of men had already approached me with greasy smiles... It was revolting," he started. "So I showed them no reaction whatsoever even when they called out to me."

You were about to say something to this, but he continued, "I bet that's how you feel almost everyday, right? I get it now. It's irritating."

You couldn't help but smile at this.

"Ibara, you've always been really understanding," you said. "It's something that I really like about you! But nevermind that, let's take a picture together! ...Please?!"

Ibara wouldn't allow it, but you took a quick selfie with him anyway. You were going to treasure this picture forever even if it angered him.

❥ A/N: The final part of my What they do for White Day Enstars special! I hope everyone has a wonderful White Day even if you don't celebrate it! Decided on these characters for last because 1. everyone likes Hiiro and Leo and 2. I haven't written for Kanata, Ibara and Yuzuru in such a long time!

🤍 HIIRO AMAGI

This was Hiiro's first time celebrating Valentine's Day, so when you gifted him your chocolates after school, he was appreciative that you thought of him. He didn't understand the implications of the gift until you confessed your feelings which made him feel awkward as his cheeks blushed.

Deep down, he knew he liked you romantically too. That's why he stuck to you like glue, greeting you a lively good morning and helping you in any way he can.

But he didn't know that he had to reciprocate your gifts until Aira told him about White Day. He thought your confession had already established a relationship together, but if that's what the customs here are and if it would make you happy, then he'll do his best to make White Day a special day for you!

Thankfully, Aira was there to guide him so he wouldn't mess up. During lunch, he asked you to go meet him by the fountain where he gifted you a silver bracelet and a box of white chocolates. Surprisingly, he didn't need Aira's help in choosing the jewellery because he knew what looked best on you.

"Let me help you put it on!" he said happily. "There. Haha, it looks pretty, don't you think? Happy White Day, (Y/N). I hope we can celebrate even more holidays together!"

🤍 LEO TSUKINAGA

Leo jumped up and down excitedly when he received those Valentine's chocolates from you. He bragged about it the whole day, annoying the NEW DI idols in the process.

"Uwaaa! Thank you, (Y/N)!" he beamed, hugging you tightly. "Hahaha, I like you too, you know? What else should we do today? Should we go to..."

So a relationship was established with Leo almost immediately. The two of you were already close to begin with, so it wasn't too much of a surprise to others. Shockingly, he was a pretty attentive boyfriend. He always found time to check up on you during work and would provide you with drinks and snacks. Sometimes he'd leave notes, some of which were lyrics about you, and others were just stick drawings of the two of you.

These little things would always make you smile. Therefore, for White Day, Leo bought you a box of White Day-themed cookies that the two of you shared together. And of course, he had composed you a song so beautiful that it made you shed a few tears.

"Hahaha, Happy White Day, (Y/N)!" he exclaimed as he wiped your tears away. "I love you so so much! Anyway, is there anything else you'd like to do? We can do everything you want!"

Kanata was new to the whole romance scene, so when you gifted him chocolates for Valentine's Day, he wondered what the occasion was.

"Oh, I see! So that's what you do on 'Valentine's Day'~" he said excitedly. "Thank you for the 'chocolates', (Y/N). Let's share them, okay~?"

However, that didn't mean he was oblivious to everything. He knew about White Day since Kaoru used to participate in it a lot back in school, so he had some idea of what to do. Additionally, he asked around because he wanted to give you, his lover, the best he could.

So on White Day, the two of you spent time together by the sea, lighting sparklers and giggling to each other's stories. He had gifted you a pearl necklace and a koi plushie from AOUMI Aquarium.

"Koi fishes symbolise love~" he explained, smiling from ear to ear. "I love you, (Y/N). Happy White Day!"

🤍 IBARA SAEGUSA

As he expected, the chocolates you made him for Valentine's Day were alluring and sweet, but what he liked most of all was the love letter you wrote for him. He would keep it in his pocket, rereading the contents when he took his short breaks at work. A smile would always appear when he did so which made coworkers wonder what he was reading.

He had planned everything out before White Day like it was a project that needed to be executed perfectly. He wrote down timeframes, date ideas, and gifts that you might like. Everything had its own section in his 'White Day' binder.

If he could give you everything in the world, he would.

On White Day, he took the day off so that the two of you were able to do everything on his schedule. First was to do an activity that you liked whether it was arts and crafts or something sports related. Second, he brought you on a lunch cruise where the two of you had lunch together on the river. However, when the third activity came, he realised you were getting tired, so he brought you home to relax and watch a movie together.

That was when he gifted you a silver necklace, and of course, he wasn't going to forget the big bouquet of white flowers he had ordered.

You appreciated everything he had done for you today even those he was kind of excessive.

"Happy White Day, my dearest (Y/N). I love you from the bottom of my heart. I hope today was satisfactory. Apologies if it was too much, but I hope we can do this again soon."

🤍 YUZURU FUSHIMI

Everyone knew you were childhood friends with Yuzuru, but they didn't expect you to hand him chocolates on Valentine's Day. Because you were so bold about it, you handed them to him in class resulting in cheers from friends and classmates. This embarrassed him greatly, but his heart had skipped a beat.

"Woo-woo!" Subaru whistled. "Congrats, Fusshi!"

He accepted your chocolates, thanking you for them, but he also scolded you for being so brash.

"I appreciate it, (Y/N), but don't do that again."

However, in private, he did accept your feelings. Unexpectedly, he had feelings for you too, but with how good he was at hiding them, you were left speechless – both figuratively and literally because he had left to go find Tori.

But he wasn't going to leave it at that. He wanted to do something for you too. After all, his purpose was to serve. On White Day, he gifted you a bento box he had cooked and white roses he grew and picked. It was sweet until he presented you with the last item – a drawing he did of you.

Nevertheless, it was cute.

"Happy White Day, (Y/N)," he smiled. "I've always loved you and will always keep loving you. I'm free after school, so let's go to that place you keep pestering me about."

Childhood friends

Yuzuru Fushimi & Ibara Saegusa x Platonic! Reader

Genre/s: Fluff (and a bit of angst)

Word count: 1,728

Plot/summary: You're childhood friends with both Yuzuru Fushimi and Ibara Saegusa in which you have a story with both of them. However, you became rather distant with Yuzuru due to his butler duties at the Himemiya residence, but you try not to hold a grudge as you still loved being his friend. Thankfully, Ibara was there for you, and you have always appreciated his help and company. They were your closest friends, so it was time to hang out with them both!

Honestly, it’s kind of weird. You have met Yuzuru first, when you two were both very young, before he went into the military and before he decided to become Tori’s full-time butler. It was an odd encounter especially since his family were strict with everything he did. He came from a family of higher class too.

Ibara, however, was a different story. After Yuzuru informed you of him joining a military training camp which was enforced by his parents, he would send you letters of how well he was putting up. In those letters, he would write about Ibara, even if they were short sentences. The relationship he had with Ibara at the time was ‘quite wholesome’ as you would say, but when Yuzuru’s last letter was sent to you, you realised that their friendship really didn’t last too long.

When Yuzuru’s military training camp came to an end, he had finally become a servant for the Himemiyas. That meant he didn’t have that much time to hang out with you as you used to. It broke your heart, but it couldn’t be helped. However, he would always try to make time for you even if that time was spent at Tori's home.

"Is (Y/N) coming over today?!" Tori would ask Yuzuru in excitement. The pink-haired boy had grown fond of you every time you visited, but in exchange, you had mixed feelings. So, this was the boy that took your best friend away from you? Seriously? You tried to hide those feelings, but of course, Yuzuru read you like a book and even scolded you for it.

"(Y/N), are you jealous?" he asked you one day, pouring you a cup of tea and setting down a plate of pastries in front of you.

You smiled at him. "Yes," you confessed. "I know I shouldn't be jealous though, after all, I don't own you – Tori does."

Yuzuru sighed at your answer. You were always so blunt with him, but he appreciated how honest you were sometimes. You picked up one of the pastries and took a bite. Mmm, that tastes nice, you thought. Does Yuzuru bake these himself?

"(Y/N)..." Yuzuru started. "I'm sorry, but–"

"This is what you chose, I know," you interrupted. "I should support my friend, but I just can't help feeling... I don't know... betrayed?"

Yuzuru fell silent and so did you.

After a few seconds, you mumbled an apology. He smiled at you softly, pinching your cheek. He understood your feelings all too well as Ibara was the same.

And that’s when you met Ibara. Before Yuzuru devoted his whole life to the Himemiyas, he pleaded that you befriend his friend from the camp. He gave you specific instructions and everything in order to find this Ibara character you’ve only known in his letters.

“You must really care about him,” you commented, drinking your tea slowly.

“I do regret leaving him there by himself,” Yuzuru admitted. “So, please take care of him for me. I know he resents me now.”

You obliged yet befriending Ibara was hard work. He would NOT open up. After the training camp, Ibara had tried to work his way up, rebuilding all of the Godfather’s abandoned businesses.

“Oh, I’m also taking business courses,” you stated happily, hoping that this relation would bring you closer to him.

Ibara shrugged it off. “So?” he said. “You won’t be able to help me with the basic knowledge you acquire from those little lessons.”

You just wanted to slap him. However, you could understand why he acted this way. Yuzuru did give you half of his backstory…

You kept trying and trying. You would wake up everyday happy and energised in hopes Ibara would finally accept you. He would find you annoying for a bit, but he did really appreciate your help. Though, he did keep an eye on you. What did you want from him anyway? Money? If that was what you wanted, he’d give it to you for you to finally leave.

But you never left, and you never took any money from him. That was when he realised that you weren’t using him at all.

“(Y/N),” he said, eyeing you on your laptop, calculating some random income statement he wanted you to do. “Thank you for everything, I’m serious.”

You looked up from your laptop, confused. Though, when you noticed his smile linger on you, you couldn't help but smile too.

“Have you finally accepted me as your friend?” you chirped.

He nodded and muttered, “My best friend.”

What he didn’t know was that you were best friends with Yuzuru too, but that’s a whole ‘nother story for him to dissect.

Present Day...

Tori looked through the whole school for you, but when he found you in the gardens enjoying a cup of tea, he began to beg.

“(Y/N)!” he whined. “Can you please do me a favour? I’ll pay you back!”

He gripped your leg with pleading eyes.

You sighed. “What is it now, Tori?”

“Well… the first years are going off on a two day trip, and uh… I want you to keep an eye on Yuzuru,” he said quickly.

“Yuzuru?”

“Yes, can you PLEASE do it?”

Maybe you’ve been spending too much time with Ibara lately, but a portion of you found Tori annoying. Of course, you loved him, he was sweet to you, and was cute! But this was the person that took Yuzuru away from you, and you just didn’t like that. You could never admit this though. You’ll take those thoughts to your grave.

“I don’t understand, why would I need to—”

Before you could finish your sentence, Yuzuru dashed in.

“Young Master, I was looking everywhere for you! You had forgotten your lunch,” Yuzuru exclaimed. “You need to eat it.”

Tori groaned, “Ugh, fine.”

Yuzuru caught your eye and said, “(Y/N), hello. How are you today?”

You smiled sadly, and this immediately took him aback.

“I’m fine,” you responded. “Tori, I’ll take care of Yuzuru.”

“What, really?! Thank you!”

Tori jumped onto you for a hug, telling you that ‘you’re the best’ multiple times. Yuzuru, who hated when Anzu would get attention from Tori, smiled at this display of affection. However, he didn’t understand what the two of you were talking about.

On the day of the trip, you finally realised why Tori wanted you to take care of Yuzuru. Yuzuru had been frantically bringing Tori stuff that he ‘needed’ for the trip, giving him his best advice, and telling him to keep safe.

“What would the Young Master do without me?!” Yuzuru would say, and you would roll your eyes at how dramatic he was being. “I’m just so worried!”

“I now realise why Ibara hates you,” you commented. “Come on, lighten up. Tori will be fine. Plus, we can finally hang out as friends now. We have two days free together!”

Yuzuru stopped and looked at you. You didn’t hate him? Well, you did greet him with a hug when he transferred to Yumenosaki, but you definitely were different from the last time he saw you. He did leave you behind like he did with Ibara after all.

“Today, we shall go to a themed cafe!” you exclaimed, grabbing his hand and twirling yourself around.

He laughed at this and he just couldn’t help but to twirl you around a second time.

“Why is HE here?” they both said simultaneously.

Situated on a circular table from left to right was Ibara, you and Yuzuru. You simply grinned in response.

“(Y/N), I thought it was a day for us two?" Yuzuru queried, perplexed at his current predicament.

“I thought so too,” said Ibara. “Why would you bring him?”

“Well, both of you are my favourite people and I would like to spend the day with the two of you together. Plus… it’s my birthday, so you have to do whatever I say!”

“It’s not your birthday,” they both said at the same time.

You changed the subject quickly. “That’s so sweet, you guys remembered my actual birthday!” you cheered.

They looked at you with confusion, so you held both their hands in a way to plead them to stay.

“Let’s just enjoy this time together, okay?” you continued. “We’re all friends here, and I never really get to hang out with you two at the same time! This is exciting for me, you know?”

You had the biggest grin on your face and they just couldn’t let you down, so they reluctantly agreed to stay. You were their dearest friend after all, and they wouldn’t want to see you sad.

The platonic date wasn’t too bad. They kept it tamed when you were around, but when you needed to go to the bathroom, they immediately began hurling insults at each other. When you came back to find them acting like that, you smacked both of their heads.

“It’s like I’m babysitting you two,” you said with a sigh.

They looked offended at the statement.

“(Y/N), I think we’re both the ones babysitting you most of the time,” Yuzuru corrected, and surprisingly, Ibara agreed.

“We’re the ones helping you with your homework,” said Ibara. “And who got you into Yumenosaki in the first place?”

You smiled at them sheepishly. “Just so you know, I love you both,” you sang. “Ibara, Yuzuru, I really do appreciate you both with my entire heart.”

They smiled at this. Due to your presence, they finally had something they could agree upon: teasing you. So, with the rest of the platonic date, they would talk to each other about how an annoyance you were when you were young. Of course, they weren’t harsh about it, so they did leave you compliments here and there.

With that being said, you three even took a picture together. They saw how sweet the smile on your face was, and they hoped you could smile like that forever.

“Thank you for treating me today!” you exclaimed as you walked with them, arm in arm, down the bustling street.

“I actually enjoyed it,” hummed Yuzuru.

“Hmm, so did I,” admitted Ibara. “But I’d rather not do it again.”

“Yeah, yeah,” you said as you tried to swing yourself with their arms wrapped into yours, like a little kid whose swinging by their parents’ hands.

Even so, you hoped you could do this with your childhood friends again.

Note: This is my first ever Kanata fic that was reuploaded from my old blog. Most of my Kanata fics follow the same premise where the reader is both an idol and producer alike her childhood friend, Ibara. However, this is not limited to just Kanata fics. Y/N will usually be an idol and producer/Ibara's childhood friend in my other fics too. When it comes to requests, then Y/N may just be an ordinary producer.

“Wow, he’s still extremely boyish.”

Kanata Shinkai x Reader ♡ Genre/s: Fluff, established relationship, she/her pronouns ♡ Word count: 796 ♡ Synopsis: You're an idol and producer at Cos Pro who is dating Kanata Shinkai of Ryuseitai!

You had a meeting with Cos Pro’s Ibara Saegusa today and decided to take the long route to get there. Ibara wouldn’t mind, would he? You were childhood friends with him after all.

Well, it wasn’t like you were late, but you didn’t want to be there too early. You, (Y/N), were a producer and solo idol at Cos Pro, so you were always booked. It got overwhelming after a while and everyone who worked with you noticed it, Ibara especially. That’s why he called you in for this meeting.

“How does he manage all of his idol activities and businesses all in one?” you wondered to yourself. “Why can’t I be like him…?”

You sighed and continued your route. Maybe you should just quit being a producer and just solely focus on your idol activities? But what if in the future, you’re no longer an idol? You still want to work. So, maybe you should just stay as a producer and quit being an idol? But you loved singing and performing on stage! You haven’t even sang on stage with Kanata yet!

Kanata, your lovely boyfriend. That’s why you haven’t quit being an idol. He was always so supportive of you and your dreams. He supported you when you were a producer, and he supported you even more when you were an idol. When you two were in your first year at Yumenosaki, you were an idol, yet a producer-in-training for the fun of it. That’s how you came to know the rest of the Eccentrics. You lead a busy life.

Speaking of Kanata, you noticed him splashing Kaoru with the water from the fountain he was currently drenched in. Kaoru screeched, “I still have a recording session!” and in response, Kanata laughed.

You smiled to yourself and approached them.

“Kanata, you’re in the fountain again?”

Kaoru was surprised by your appearance, “Oh, (Y/N), hello!”

Kanata grinned happily, whilst his arms had spread out for you to hug him, “(Y/N)! Come swim with me!”

You sighed, “I have a meeting in 10 minutes.”

But you embraced him happily anyway, stroking his fluffy, wet hair. “I need to go now actually.”

Kanata looked defeated.

“Will you wait for me though?” you asked.

“Of course,” he replied. “I’ll always wait for you. I don’t have anything planned today~”

“Okay, perfect!”

You grabbed his face and pulled him in for a kiss. Kaoru was startled and looked away, a tinge of jealously appearing on his forehead.

Kanata kissed you back immediately, and after a few seconds, you pulled away. You said goodbye to the two boys before heading inside.

Kaoru sighed and looked back at Kanata.

“You guys have changed. (Y/N) didn’t use to like doing PDA—”

Kaoru stopped speaking when he saw Kanata smile softly to himself. His fingers gently brushed his lips and his cheeks were sprinkled light pink too.

Wow, he’s still extremely boyish, Kaoru thought as a smile of sentimentally appeared on his face. It really did remind him of the times when you three were students at Yumenosaki, and how Kanata would always have his attention on you, wherever you went, whatever you did. He would always smile after you, his eyes filled with love and hope, something that has never changed. You were the only person that still gave Kanata those feelings after all these years.

Kaoru ruffled his friend’s hair. “I’m happy for you, you know?” he exclaimed. “Although I am a bit jealous, but obviously, the two of you were bound to happen…”

Kanata wasn’t paying attention to him anymore. All he was thinking about was you and what time your meeting would finish.

[Extra]

After the meeting, where you discussed all the possibilities of whether you should stay working as a producer, an idol, or both, you finally came to a conclusion — well, Ibara did — that you should just limit your producer workload. That meant you wouldn’t be getting the same workload as Anzu, so you’d be able to do your idol activities. And as Ibara had stated, “We’re both different people with different capabilities.”

You bid your childhood friend a farewell and rushed out of the building. You were looking forward to spending the rest of the day with Kanata.

And there he was, waving at you with a bright smile on his face, all dried up now too.

You smiled and ran up to him, arms spread out. He caught you into his embrace and twirled you around.

“Let’s go home!” he said.

Your fingers interlocked with his as he began to swing them joyfully. As you both walked together into the sunset, Ibara watched the two of you with a small smile on his face.

“Mhmm. I think they suit each other quite well…”

holiday clichés

content: christmas fluff

pairing: ibara saegusa x gn!reader

word count: 500+

a/n: merry christmas!! of course as the local ibara stan i had to make something for the holidays. his voice line really inspired me! and this is not proofread, my motto is yolo for a reason

you and your boyfriend walk around the town square after eating dinner. the holidays gave you both a clear schedule for a few days, so ibara decided it would be best to spend it with you. he planned all sorts of activities to do, yesterday you made a gingerbread house together.

now, he stayed beside you while you looked around. there were plenty of children with their families, decorations filled houses and buildings, not to mention how bright it was due to the christmas lights… especially the ones from the huge christmas tree at the center.

“it’s really pretty.” you said.

“it is.” ibara takes your hand. “your hands are really cold.”

“really?” you asked. you didn’t even realize, but once he mentioned it, you could practically feel them freezing.

fuck. you forgot your gloves at home.

“ah~ you’re so forgetful.” he teased. “don’t worry, i’ll warm them up for you.”

he holds your other hand and smiles. it’s definitely warmer now, but it’s still not enough. “you aren’t wearing yours either.” you pointed out.

ibara chuckles. “you’re right. though it should be fine if we stay like this.”

you lean your head on his chest. he flinches, making you giggle. “yeah… but i have a better idea.”

you dragged yourselves back home and you told him to wait in the living room while you made hot chocolate. once you were finished, you gave him his cup and sat next to him on the sofa, head resting on his shoulder.

“how cliché. should we watch poorly made christmas movies to set the mood?” he joked.

you laughed but you weren’t entirely opposed to the idea. you did a lot already, so it would be best to relax for the night, just the two of you. you grabbed the remote to turn the tv on and browsed for the “poorly made christmas movies” ibara mentioned.

“oh you really are doing it.” he brought the cup to his lips to drink his hot chocolate. “i’m not complaining though, as long as i get to hold you in my arms.”

your cheeks heat up from the comment and you throw a pillow at him. “since when did you act like this…”

with the remote in your hand and a mug in the other, you watched trailers and read summaries of the movies until you both decided on what to watch first. and just as ibara said, you ended up snuggled comfortably against his chest with his arms wrapped around you halfway through it.

about four movies in, you started to feel tired. you wanted to get up, but your current position is too cozy. you stopped debating with yourself and just let the drowsiness take over, you close your eyes and fall into a deep sleep.

ibara was still awake. he turned the tv off and wrapped a blanket around the both of you before placing a kiss on your cheek and sleeping as well. he could carry you to the bed, but he can do that later. let him savor this moment for a while longer.

by the way, ibara actually brought your gloves with him. he didn’t tell you because he only wanted an excuse to hold your hands.
