Characters: Adonis Otogari, Tatsumi Kazehaya, Yuzuru Fushimi, Tsumugi Aoba, Kanata Shinkai, Leo Tsukinaga, Mika Kagehira, Hinata Aoi, Mao Isara and Niki Shina

Cw: fluff! Silly kisses and flustered (?) characters, Keito being mom coded in Mao’s part HELPP, idk what else to say except that..I really enjoyed writing this

A/n: Hi guys! I went missing for like 2 months (school has been absolutely brutal) but anyways, I hope y’all enjoy this silly post, also the reader is the one who tells them that, not the character towards the reader (i hope it made sense 😓)

Adonis Otogari

“Huh?” what the first thing Adonis replied to when he heard your question. He seriously thought he’d heard wrong and blushed a bit as he ran the words over and over again in his head, he really wanted to kiss you. Especially since he’s had a crush on you for a while, so Adonis gently brings you closer and kisses you. He apologizes later on even, if you didn’t mind the kiss and he’ll try to properly court you afterwards.

-“Can we go on a date? I insist, you’re a wonderful person to be around with”

Tatsumi Kazehaya

Tatsumi gets embarrassed at the suggestion, he didn’t expect such a bold statement coming from you. He’ll decline the offer, saying that it would be ‘unpleasant’ to kiss if you’re not in a relationship…Tatsumi changes his mind when you suggest trying things out as a couple. Going on dates and listening to his rants about..anything really. He doesn’t want to admit how badly he wants to kiss you, so he does, with no hesitation.

-“Now that we’re together..I suppose you don’t mind me showing you my affection, hm?”

Yuzuru Fushimi

Nearly drops his tray of tea when you said that. You noticed the change in his attitude, a bit flustered and shy as he offered you some tea. Tori was out to visit Eichi and Wataru was practicing for another show, meaning it was the given moment to spend time with Yuzuru. As much as he wanted to leave, he couldn’t help but want to kiss you. Yuzuru was now grabbing your chin softly and leaning in, parting away as he smiled.

-“It seems a date is in order? I would be delighted to show you some of the best sights in the city”

Tsumugi Aoba

Similar to Yuzuru except, he dropped the books he was holding and quickly got down to get them back. Yet, you were helping him, and he got more nervous and shy. However, Tsumugi grabbed your hand, whisking you away to a more secluded area to kiss you. He confessed that he liked you since the day you��ve met and it all felt like a dream when you asked him that.

-“I would’ve never guessed that a day like today..we would kiss in the library, but, I’m definitely not complaining..”

Kanata Shinkai

His face remained puzzled as he asked you to repeat the question again. Kanata smiled as he heard it once more, pulling you towards the waves of the ocean as he wrapped his arms around you. It was usual for him to be so affectionate with you..but as his lips neared yours, you felt your breath hitch. Your clothes were wet by the time you both left the fountain; Kanata was now holding your hand softly while kissing you

-“Hehe~ I like ‘spending’ time with you..do you want to go on a ‘date’ with me~?”

Leo Tsukinaga

He straight up just laughs and begins writing on the notebook you gifted him a while back for his birthday. Soon holding it up for you as you read the lyrics of a song Leo had thought of the moment you told him that. Suddenly, you felt him kiss your hand before moving to kiss you softly. He moved his hands to your face, still kissing you while smiling and parting away for air, wishing that moment lasted forever.

-“I was hoping you’d say that sometime, you give me so much inspiration~! I’ll make sure to dedicate you even more songs from now on!”

Mika Kagehira

Mika was sewing quietly when he heard your suggestion. Hands shaky as he stopped what he was crafting. He was lucky Shu had gone to deliver some important outfits, meaning he wasn’t returning until a long time. Mika then looked your way, admiring your features as he then got up. Grabbing your face with both hands as he leaned in, kissing you dearly.

-“I..sorry, I really like you Y/n, and..well..I want to spend time with you..anywhere”

Hinata Aoi

It all started like a joke to him, he couldn’t believe you were serious about it afterwards, his brother found out and listened in to what he thought about it. Hinata had a crush on you since ever, everything about you was so perfect in his eyes. He felt at comfort for the way you knew who he was and not confuse him with his brother often. After thinking about it he accepted the offer, taking you to the roof and kissing you softly. Smiling as he admired your features

- “I’m glad I met you, you’re so wonderful I…I get speechless whenever I’m around you”

Mao Isara

Keito coughed a bit, making his presence noticeable in the student council’s room as Mao blushed, he heard it even if you whispered it? Keito just sighed and left the room, warning Isara not to do anything..out of the ordinary while he was gone. But, he just allowed that to happen.. Mao saw as you sat down beside him, grabbing his hand as he smiled; he nodded while leaning forward, you kissed him quickly before Mao then pulled you back for another one.

-“I know we shouldn’t kiss here but..what’s one small kiss going to change? I have the perfect place for our lunch, if you want to join me afterwards”

Niki Shiina

His brain kinda just..stopped (?) working the moment you spoke, the food that he was making nearly burned as he quickly turned the stove off since it was already done. Niki couldn’t help but wonder if he heard right. He noticed how you looked around the kitchen, smiling and helping him prep the food for his unit-mates. After being alone, he thought about it for sometime, grabbing your hand softly and bringing you back to the kitchen to kiss you softly against the counter

-“You’re so cute when you help me around, we should bake together sometime..”

❥ A/N: The final part of my What they do for White Day Enstars special! I hope everyone has a wonderful White Day even if you don't celebrate it! Decided on these characters for last because 1. everyone likes Hiiro and Leo and 2. I haven't written for Kanata, Ibara and Yuzuru in such a long time!

🤍 HIIRO AMAGI

This was Hiiro's first time celebrating Valentine's Day, so when you gifted him your chocolates after school, he was appreciative that you thought of him. He didn't understand the implications of the gift until you confessed your feelings which made him feel awkward as his cheeks blushed.

Deep down, he knew he liked you romantically too. That's why he stuck to you like glue, greeting you a lively good morning and helping you in any way he can.

But he didn't know that he had to reciprocate your gifts until Aira told him about White Day. He thought your confession had already established a relationship together, but if that's what the customs here are and if it would make you happy, then he'll do his best to make White Day a special day for you!

Thankfully, Aira was there to guide him so he wouldn't mess up. During lunch, he asked you to go meet him by the fountain where he gifted you a silver bracelet and a box of white chocolates. Surprisingly, he didn't need Aira's help in choosing the jewellery because he knew what looked best on you.

"Let me help you put it on!" he said happily. "There. Haha, it looks pretty, don't you think? Happy White Day, (Y/N). I hope we can celebrate even more holidays together!"

🤍 LEO TSUKINAGA

Leo jumped up and down excitedly when he received those Valentine's chocolates from you. He bragged about it the whole day, annoying the NEW DI idols in the process.

"Uwaaa! Thank you, (Y/N)!" he beamed, hugging you tightly. "Hahaha, I like you too, you know? What else should we do today? Should we go to..."

So a relationship was established with Leo almost immediately. The two of you were already close to begin with, so it wasn't too much of a surprise to others. Shockingly, he was a pretty attentive boyfriend. He always found time to check up on you during work and would provide you with drinks and snacks. Sometimes he'd leave notes, some of which were lyrics about you, and others were just stick drawings of the two of you.

These little things would always make you smile. Therefore, for White Day, Leo bought you a box of White Day-themed cookies that the two of you shared together. And of course, he had composed you a song so beautiful that it made you shed a few tears.

"Hahaha, Happy White Day, (Y/N)!" he exclaimed as he wiped your tears away. "I love you so so much! Anyway, is there anything else you'd like to do? We can do everything you want!"

🤍 KANATA SHINKAI

Kanata was new to the whole romance scene, so when you gifted him chocolates for Valentine's Day, he wondered what the occasion was.

"Oh, I see! So that's what you do on 'Valentine's Day'~" he said excitedly. "Thank you for the 'chocolates', (Y/N). Let's share them, okay~?"

However, that didn't mean he was oblivious to everything. He knew about White Day since Kaoru used to participate in it a lot back in school, so he had some idea of what to do. Additionally, he asked around because he wanted to give you, his lover, the best he could.

So on White Day, the two of you spent time together by the sea, lighting sparklers and giggling to each other's stories. He had gifted you a pearl necklace and a koi plushie from AOUMI Aquarium.

"Koi fishes symbolise love~" he explained, smiling from ear to ear. "I love you, (Y/N). Happy White Day!"

🤍 IBARA SAEGUSA

As he expected, the chocolates you made him for Valentine's Day were alluring and sweet, but what he liked most of all was the love letter you wrote for him. He would keep it in his pocket, rereading the contents when he took his short breaks at work. A smile would always appear when he did so which made coworkers wonder what he was reading.

He had planned everything out before White Day like it was a project that needed to be executed perfectly. He wrote down timeframes, date ideas, and gifts that you might like. Everything had its own section in his 'White Day' binder.

If he could give you everything in the world, he would.

On White Day, he took the day off so that the two of you were able to do everything on his schedule. First was to do an activity that you liked whether it was arts and crafts or something sports related. Second, he brought you on a lunch cruise where the two of you had lunch together on the river. However, when the third activity came, he realised you were getting tired, so he brought you home to relax and watch a movie together.

That was when he gifted you a silver necklace, and of course, he wasn't going to forget the big bouquet of white flowers he had ordered.

You appreciated everything he had done for you today even those he was kind of excessive.

"Happy White Day, my dearest (Y/N). I love you from the bottom of my heart. I hope today was satisfactory. Apologies if it was too much, but I hope we can do this again soon."

🤍 YUZURU FUSHIMI

Everyone knew you were childhood friends with Yuzuru, but they didn't expect you to hand him chocolates on Valentine's Day. Because you were so bold about it, you handed them to him in class resulting in cheers from friends and classmates. This embarrassed him greatly, but his heart had skipped a beat.

"Woo-woo!" Subaru whistled. "Congrats, Fusshi!"

He accepted your chocolates, thanking you for them, but he also scolded you for being so brash.

"I appreciate it, (Y/N), but don't do that again."

However, in private, he did accept your feelings. Unexpectedly, he had feelings for you too, but with how good he was at hiding them, you were left speechless – both figuratively and literally because he had left to go find Tori.

But he wasn't going to leave it at that. He wanted to do something for you too. After all, his purpose was to serve. On White Day, he gifted you a bento box he had cooked and white roses he grew and picked. It was sweet until he presented you with the last item – a drawing he did of you.

Nevertheless, it was cute.

"Happy White Day, (Y/N)," he smiled. "I've always loved you and will always keep loving you. I'm free after school, so let's go to that place you keep pestering me about."

You'd be spoiled by all of them, in many different ways! Wataru would hold his own magic shows just for you, along with acting out romantic parts of plays with you as the romantic star. He would also get the others to join him sometimes so it'd be like a complicated love hexagon but at the end you would all get together.

Rei would cuddle up with you and the others would come too, so it would end up as one giant cuddle party.

Kanata would take you to the aquarium to watch all the fishes and sea animals. He would also take you to the beach with the others so all of you could puka puka together (except Natsume, he stays out on the sand, or he doesn't come at all)

Shu would have you model clothes for him, or make you clothes which he thought you would look absolutely stunning in. He would also do the same for the others and then everyone would just end up modeling clothes.

Natsume would read your future. He would also play video games with you and the others, wanting to play any new interesting multiplayer ones with everyone.

Now an orgy with them... Hhh, Shu would have you in lingerie that he made, I feel like Shu would not really touch you. He would rather stay back and watch the others while jerking off. (However one on one he would be more dominant, man handling you) Wataru would be the one to prepare you, he would also rather watch the show than participate but after everyone is done he would take his turn. "Kanata, please! Just stay still for a second!"

"I am sorry, (name)" He murmured, his body flailing around on the couch as if he were an actual fish out of water. "But this is... so boring. Can you take me to the ocean now?"

You sighed, offering him the sweetest smile you could muster as you continued to dap a wet cloth on his forehead. Poor thing, his skin was hot to the touch and the sweat trickling down the back of his neck didn't help to disprove your theory that he was incredibly sick, even if he insisted he wasn't.

"I know honey, I know. I'll take you when you're all better. The ocean isn't going anywhere" You cooed, brushing a damp strand of hair out of his eyes.

"You are cruel, (name)" Kanata huffed, turning on his side and facing his back towards you, a childish behaviour that you couldn't help but let out a tiny laugh at. You'd never seen him act so bratty before. It was cute, in a weird way.

"Cruel? Me? I'm the one taking care of you dummy" You teased, gently poking him in the back. "How about this, if you let me take care of you, then we can take a bath together later. Does that sound good?"

Kanatas head perked up at the offer, a tired smile tugging at his lips. A bath? With you? Who wouldn't want that? He rolled around till he was laying flat on his stomach, looking up at you with those big green eyes of his. God, even when he was sick he still made your heart melt.

"Hm, only if you add bubbles"

You chuckled, reaching out to ruffle his hair. "Of course, anything for you"

⤷ Ritsu, whose kisses are so whiny and and slow that you almost giggle. He sighs into your mouth and pulls you closer, silently claiming you as his own and asking you to never, ever leave him. His lips press against your own until neither of you can breathe, and even then, he pouts once you separate.

⤷ Keito, who kisses you without even noticing. It’s become something so natural and regular that it hardly requires any thinking, and before he knows it, he’s leaning forward, and tilting your chin to kiss you. He didn’t realize something like this could be so simple. And he’s perfectly okay with that.

⤷ Adonis, who asks before every kiss. Boyishly, innocently, he whispers for permission to steal a kiss, and you’ve never known a sweeter man. He’s so considerate that your heart squeezes in your chest. He knows he can kiss you whenever, but nothing beats the smile on your face whenever he inquires.

featuring: sakasaki natsume, shinkai kanata & sakuma ritsu.

summary: an offering of a frivolous kiss by an equally frivolous boy or the lengths they are willing to go through for a mere peck of sorts.

contrary to popular belief, natsume is not always as charming as he'd like others to believe. but of course, he's still certain in his fantasies (delusions) that he has you wrapped around his little finger. he does, he does not - your thoughts on the matter are unclear themselves at times. he can be a little sour on occasion but the pucker of that whimsical rose-colored mouth is still just as sweet as to you as any smile. even in an irritable dizzy haze, he manages to work his strange magic on you. be fairly warned though, he is not above wreaking mischief especially if he feels you have not been paying much attention to him as of late. a missing cardigan, the shoe rack in disarray, placing novels at the very back of the highest shelf he can find - the list of difficulties he can conjure up for you is endless. it's a wonder he calls you a little kitten at all when he's the real feline foe here. revoke his rights for a kiss and maybe he'll learn to behave himself. a trail of hazy stars and dusty comet tails later, you can't deny that the pleasing little sting of his lips against yours is worth all the trouble.

even when completely dry, you can still see water dripping off kanata in your mind's eye. pearly droplets cascading past his nose, his lashes, his hair - onto your hands. yes, he can be silly sometimes and lack a teensy bit of decorum but you cannot help but wonder all the same if he too was made out of sea foam. it does not help that he's rather shy too in certain aspects and even when he does voice his funny thoughts aloud, you have to spend some time trying to figure out if he meant this thing or that. yet it's all part of his steady charm and you're rather grateful for the fact that attempting to dissect his brain has led to you developing a startling amount of critical thinking skills. you press a little grateful kiss to his slender hand and feel pleased when he smiles gently. he then brushes his own lips against your cheek in a gesture that you are all too gleeful to receive. and after all these polite entreaties building up towards the real thing at last end, a quick peck on the mouth takes place. it lingers for just a brief moment but you can still hear all the little fishies swimming in the marrow of his bones pulsate longingly.

there is always a playful little bite to anything ritsu does. a lilting catch to his voice, a touch of a pout, the slightest flutter of lashes tangled in sleep... he loves to make you run about him in giddy circles till you're out of breath and your vision is reeling with his very smile. you find it a bit dear if not a little concerning. he naps quite an awful lot too and you often find yourself given the responsibility to rouse him from slumber. you've fallen victim to his adorable pleas and flushed apple cheeks more times than you'd like to count. he almost always ends up convincing you to shirk your obligations and what's worse is that he does it knowingly. one kiss burrowed into your palm and a single blink of his stupidly drowsy eyes later is enough to send you into shambles. if he feels especially generous, he'll even indulge to the whims of your trembling lips but only if you promise to leave him be after that.

notes: srry for not posting for almost *counts fingers* eight months?! the yuckiness that is life happened and it prevented me from my one true calling: writing about anime boys slash romanticized versions of the reader who would actually be pretty insufferable in real life lol. you just can't get away from these idol boys even if you tried huh... anyways!! i'm back now so pls talk to me! thanku ♡

will STEAL your blanket. if he ever sees you freezing, he’ll drape his blanket to you… for him to steal it again afterwards (he didn’t mean it) will pepper your face with kisses every morning (he never misses a schedule) will pull you back in his arms if you ever get up to get ready for work

kanata shinkai ;

if he wakes up earlier than you, he’ll hum you a tune — not to wake you up, but for you to sleep even more. his voice is calming to some extent, like hypnosis. if he ever wakes you up, he’ll greet you with a smile and tells you to go back to sleep. but if you reaaaally need to get up to get ready, he'll help you with a smile on his face. making you breakfast is his favourite part of the morning

shinobu sengoku ;

will greet you with a very ‘good morning!’ with your things ready, and breakfast on the table. he doesn’t know whether to give affection first thing in the morning (he's just embarrassed), so an act of service will at least help everything up !

tetora nagumo ;

is VERY loud. every movement he does makes a sound. will apologize if he ever wakes you up, though. he’ll give you a pat and tells you to go back to sleep. and he’ll still apologize, saying he won’t make any noise again

midori takamine ;

his mind is at 100 mph in the morning. should he hug you? should he… give you kisses? who knows. he lets his intrusive thoughts win every morning. he hugs you like a giant teddy bear, not ready to let you go. will apologize afterwards, saying a mouthful of apology — even after you reassure him. he will cook you breakfast as a peace offering (or a love language)

Waiting for you to wake up pt. 2

Nazuna Nito

Starting with a kiss on the cheek, Nazuna takes his sweet time getting up himself. He doesn’t want to leave, so he gets ready so slowly and quietly, sometimes glancing over at you to see you still sleeping peacefully. Once he’s done, he sits at your bedside. He could go and get breakfast ready, but he doesn’t want to leave this peaceful moment with you, he’ll sit there, stroking your cheek, until your eyes flutter open.

Tsukasa Suou

Tsukasa would get up as soon as he’s awake, making sure to leave you a light kiss at the corner of your eye, he goes to get some work done. He wants to make the morning a little easier for you, whether it be tidying up or getting breakfast ready, he tries his best. When he sees you appear in the doorway, he greets you with another kiss and softly smiles at you, brightening your morning.

Souma Kanzaki

The first thing Souma does when waking up is looking at you, seeing you sleep peacefully, it makes him happy. Poking your cheek gently, he wonders how much longer you plan to sleep, but he doesn’t have the heart to wake you up himself. It takes quite a while before Kanata realizes he has a crush on you. Love is something that’s new to him, something that he doesn’t really quite know. He may have read the definition of love and heard it in context from his fellow idols, but there’s little he knows about what it’s like to feel in love. With the help of the rest of Ryusetai, who have heard more thoughts than they ever wished to hear about you, there eventually comes a time where Kanata connects the two words he’s been thinking about recently: love, and your name.

If there’s one thing they need a break from hearing other than Chiaki’s enthusiastic yells, it has to be your name- and things that are so obviously related to you. They have become experts, at this point, in recognizing if something Kanata says has to do with you. There’s a certain pattern, a certain diction he uses specifically about you. It’s lovestruck, it’s as if he’s seeing the world differently.

If someone asked for any statement about you, each of them could come up with something different easily. Even if they hadn’t met you, what Kanata says would be enough for them to feel like they know you well. They’ve heard what you did today that Kanata thought was cute (which is everything), they’ve heard what you did with him, they’ve heard all of the interesting things about you (basically all about you). They’re not just hearing about a love-struck Ryusei Blue, but they’re hearing about someone he adores, random statements of love he doesn’t even realize as they slip out from his lips.

Now, how did Kanata discover that love was love? When he realized that love wasn’t just a word that someone used to describe actions but rather to describe emotions? That the word “love” was describing something within, not something from the outside? It was a gradual, slow process. It was natural; a discovery which did not originate from a bang but rather the eventual process of nature. There was a time where the word “love” just felt right, that it was just the right word for what he was feeling. As time passed, he went from “Is this love?” to “Mhm, my love forever”, as it just felt more and more right. It was not that the dictionary definition made more sense; it was that he had realized the definition for himself: you.

For Kanata, love is a state of bliss. It was a state of comfort brought by you, unlike anyone before. A smile forms on his lips, giggles escaping those very lips as you stay right by him. He feels light as air, as if he’s floating in the happy current of the sea. There’s waves that bring him up and back down again, but his hand is intertwined with yours, and simply sharing that happiness together multiplies the joy. He can see forever with you, an endless sea of time, your hand in his.

Kanata always has a smile on his expression when he’s around you, and giggles escape from his lips as he converses with you. He always looks happy, a little excited, to see you, and if you let him, he’d love to give you lots and lots of hugs~ He doesn’t quite understand, but he loves the way you feel in his arms. He seems to ignore other people- just a little bit- when he’s with you; he isn’t doing it on purpose though- he just has only you on his mind. And of course, when you take his hand, a smile and a giggle appear. Oh, how he’s ever so lucky for you to be right beside him.

Your absolute best friend in the marine bio club, he loves researching about cute creatures and taking care of them too!! Souma isn’t really focused on romance, he’s really glad to have found friends like you and Adonis. But, why was he feeling some sort of way around you? Your smile was so soft, he felt his heart beat at the thought of it, and how warm your personality was with him. He was scared to even confess because you’ve been such a good friend to him that he really doesn’t want to ruin that friendship.

But its not like you have hinted anything towards him. It’s always been Adonis or Kanata, hell, even Kaoru, he wants you to look at him for once, just once and say you love him. Souma started to doubt whether or not to tell you, when suddenly as he opened his locker, saw an envelope with your name in it, addressed to him. He decided on going to the place you mentioned in your letter, seeing you there with a smile.

“Y/n…do you feel what I feel? I really enjoy your presence, but I can’t help but feel I want to be more than your friend, perhaps a partner? If you want to stay as friends then I understand-“

With that, you kissed him, he felt like his world was just surrounded by you and just you both. As you parted away, Souma blushed a bit, smiling brightly but slightly embarrassed as you spoke

“I love you too Souma, I’ve been waiting to say those words to you”

Yuta Aoi✰

Let’s face it, you’re friends with Yuta and best friends with Hinata. He hates feeling like a second option towards you when Hinata isn’t there. Of course, you share moments like any good friend would, talking and spending time together. But it was all about Hinata; Hinata this, Hinata that. Yuta started growing feelings of jealousy for a while, but he couldn’t just go to his brothers best friend and admit of their crush, opening his heart out there and waiting for it to be held or acepted, anything but crushed.

Yuta knew he had to act one day or another, it can’t stay like this when you’re just there, being so kind to him even if he felt like a filler for when Hinata wasn’t there. Until one day, his brother found out about his crush, and promised him that he wasn’t interested in you, after all, Hinata felt like you were the sister they never had. After that day, Yuta saw things clearly, not blinded by the silly jealousy towards his brother and now focusing on winning your heart. Eventually, he invited you out to hang out together, which could be considered a date but he liked saying they were only going out as friends. Right after ending the date, Yuta held your hands softly, sighing before speaking.

“So, I wanna thank you for accepting my invite um to go out..but I also want to say something important-“

You cut him off by kissing him, he stood still, a bit in shock while his heart felt like it was about to burst.

“I like you too Yuta..sorry if I made you feel in any way less than your brother, you’re very important to me, you both are”

Suou Tsukasa✰

Your friendship began with your father’s company partnering up with Tsukasa’s. You both instantly clicked having somewhat same interests, going to cafe’s around japan whenever your families traveled to other cities. Suou loves going to Yumenosaki Academy with you, it’s a routine going in and out and after school, taking you to the sweet fan club. It’s no surprise when the members of the club ask if you’re dating, to which Suou just blushes and denies it. Perhaps he was developing feelings for you?

No it couldn’t be, you were his best friend, and childhood one too. Kohaku had seen Suou doubtful at times and comforted him, encouraging his cousin to give it a try if he truly loved you. Even if things wouldn’t be the same after, Suou was really going to give this a try. The following days consisted of him acting more affectionate and close with you, gifting you small things like your favorite sweets even jewelry as well. To the point where you confronted him about all the sudden coddling.

“Okay Suou listen I appreciate the gifts and the kindness, but..is there a reason why you’re doing this? I mean- wait, you’re definitely hidding something right? Come on I know you and I’ve done so my entire life, it can’t be that bad-“

Suou leaned forward, kissing you softly as he had felt brave in that moment, soon pulling away muttering a small apology as he sighed

“I-I’m sorry, I really love your company and your sweet personality, you’ve showed me how to love and feel loved. I truly hope you feel the same as I do”

Himeru✰

After the incident regarding his brother, Kaname, Himeru learned everything about his brother. People didn’t find him strange, or acting weird when referring to himself in third person, after all Himeru knew how to blend in well with the crowd. Except for one person, you. Knowing Kaname well had it’s things, like predicting what things he wanted to do or talk about in the moment, even sharing class schedules with each other, so you knew he was not Kaname, but instead his brother who he had mentioned briefly before Himeru had come in as ‘him’. Still, Himeru had that side of him that made you look at him in another light.

Of course, he was portraying as his brother but, something about Himeru was just so different, he was more mature, rationalized everything and serious in a way that made you like him? He was kind and gentle with you, almost sickening, but in a good way. A year passed by and Himeru invited you to see his brother, how the incident had left him in a state of coma, tears were shed that day, and a lot. But you knew how much trust and care he had in you. So when he pulled you aside as you walked towards the place he’d ask you to meet him at, you weren’t surprised at what he said.

“Himeru hopes this is enough appropriate to aproach you this way. Himeru asked for you to meet him here, Himeru is thankful for that…would you be willing to give Himeru the opportunity to show you how much ‘I’ love you?”

You smiled, one he loved seeing so frequently. He placed his arms around you in a comforting way, kissing you softly while smiling

“Yes Himeru, I love you, not because you’re ‘impersonating’ your brother but, because i fell in love with the real you, the real Himeru thats under that façade”

Kohaku Oukawa✰

Being part of whatever Madara dragged him into, wasn’t easy, especially with making acquaintances rather than his unit mates and Madara himself, not to mention his cousin Suou who is somewhat friends with you. He can’t even recall the time you both met, perhaps his cousin introduced you or he had seen you around the Reimei dormitories. Even if Kohaku didn’t attend school, he looked forward in meeting you in the hallways of the dorms. His conversations being short and direct but well mannered, he seemed to have taken a liking to you.

Or more like a slight fling of trust towards you since you knew his cousin and friends well. It wasn’t like him when he offered you to join him and share some of his favorite sweets or chatting online when you didn’t have time to hang out, always ending up with photos of Kohaku and the thing he was so busy at. Sometimes it would be photos of him at the practice studio or helping Madara out with something, they were really cute, but he didn’t have to know that, right? Then he suggested you both went out, taking you to his favorite shops and cafe’s filled with pastries from around the world, sharing a bite of the (favorite pastry) you were eating as he spoke, now having the opportunity to do so since you were both in a much more secluded area.

“Hey so..would it be alright if I..confessed? Okay no I’m not gonna beat around the bush, I like you, a lot. I talked this with Madara and he said i should tell you since honesty is important and”

He stopped, looking at you briefly after you had kissed him momentarily on the lips, he stared for a bit before snapping back into reality, coughing a bit as he averted his eyes across the room, trying to hide the embarrassment he felt because you liked him back and kissed him, even though he wanted to do so first

“Perhaps a little birdy might’ve told me something like that before…however the answer is still the same, I like you too Kohaku, thank you for being honest, I really like that about you too”

Kanata Shinakai✰

You both met thanks to Madara and Ryuusetai. Since you worked with Madara on some missions, you actually knew Kanata when he was proclaimed to be a ‘god’. The shinkai cult was a very harsh one but, after Madara had saved Kanata, he was in your ‘debt’. But it never felt that way to either of you, Kanata is your best friend, one that always drags you towards any nearby water or anything you both enjoy. He really likes spending time with you and will not back off if you tell him he’s “too clingy”. People always say you were like platonic soulmates, but you’d always denied it with a small blush on your face.

However, feelings started to develop when he would always go towards you in need of help or advice, even saying good morning before anyone else, you were first and it made you feel something whenever he smiled at you or dragged you into the cold water of the fountain. Kaoru was the first to notice your feelings whenever you came by the marine bio club, cheeks a bit pink as Kanata hugged you. It was kinda obvious of how much you liked each other but were oblivious to it. Till one day, he invited you out to meet him in one of his favorite spots, laying out a blanket with some of your favorite snacks, looking at the ocean in front of you as he held your hand under the afternoon sun.

“I think I’m developing ‘feelings’ for you~ Y/n~, do you ‘like’ me too~?”

Smiling, he knew to take that as a sign to kiss you, his lips soft against yours as you parted away slowly, taking the time to admire his features and how the wind moved his hair slightly

“I love you Kanata, it feels like we’re destined to be with one another”

Arashi Narukami✰

The cool stylish best friend you were so proud to have. Arashi knew the best skin care products and even gave you tips from time to time. She was the best to go to if you had any problems about anything. You both met at one of her regular make up stores to go to in the daily, she just so happened to love your fit and exchanged numbers. Arashi invites you to a couple of her shootings sometimes, looking your way when she’s posing or winking and the staff is quite positive that you’re dating each other. To which Arashi has no objection to but you’re almost sure she’s teasing you.

Besides you both have been friends for a couple of years, it’s nothing serious…or so you thought. Arashi had arranged a dinner after her regular model shootings and invited you, alone. Which caused some doubts because she would normally invite the rest of the Knights with you to eat together, especially for dinner. Upon entering the restaurant, placing your orders and sitting down, Arashi took out what seemed to be a box, you almost thought she was asking you to marry her but as she opened it, there were two rings, almost equal, she smiled and seemed a bit bashful as she spoke.

“You know I’m not really used to any of this but, I like you Y/n, I saw these rings and thought why not use them as promise rings? I hope you like it~!”

You smiled and held her hand as she kissed your cheek softly, then moving to kiss your lips briefly. Arashi then placed the ring on your finger as you did to her’s too. Many people thought it was an engagement and congratulated you both, even if it wasn’t, you ended up getting free dessert and a wonderful time with her

“I like you too Arashi! What just happened feels like something out of a fairytale, it was so romantic, thank you for the wonderful time~!”

Hiyori Tomoe✰

Your 'archnemesis’ that turned into your best friend. Hiyori really didn’t get along well with you, especially when you hanged around with Jun most of the time, talking about similar interests as he watched you both from the sidelines while he waited for Jun to finish his conversation. It wasn’t fair whenever Jun opt to spend more time with you rather than him and his dog Bloody Mary. However one time, Jun went off with Makoto, leaving you alone with Hiyori and his dog, he then realized how kind you were with everything, especially Bloody Mary. After that day you both became the most inseparable of friends. Always giving you tips on your wardrobe and going out to get lunch or a cup of coffee to start the day. When he invited you to his concerts and events, you were always there, first row cheering him on as he looked at you from the stage. Something about seeing you so cheery in the crowd made his heart flutter, he felt so loved and cherished by his best friend.

Although he wouldn’t consider that anymore, it had developed into a crush throughout the weeks, leaning into your touch more as you both linked arms or his arm around your shoulder. He trusted you with some of his worries and inquires, always looking forward to your advice whenever he felt down or lost. He eventually ranted towards Nagisa and Bloody Mary, to which Nagisa pretty much replied with “be honest with them, you never know unless you say something”. Nagisa was right, he had to do whatever it took to say how he was feeling and Hiyori wasn’t backing down on this. It was when he had the idea to confess after one of his concerts with Eve, after briefly finishing and the majority of the people had left, he requested for your presence in his dressing room, escorted by one of the bodyguards Ibara had hired for the concert. Soon entering his dressing room and seeing flowers everywhere, even a small rose petal line leading directly towards Hiyori as he smiled and held a beautiful bouquet of your favorite flowers.

“Hiyori! Wow it’s so beautiful..but, why all this commotion? I mean I love it but-“

You felt his lips against yours briefly, a soft giggle leaving his lips as he leaned towards you once more, catching you by surprise again

“My dearest Y/n! I must admit you’ve caught my eye, and I have developed feelings for you, I hope you truly feel the same”

Ritsu Sakuma✰

Ritsu had admired you from afar for quite some time now, noticing how happy you were with his brother and unit, too busy to even notice his presence whenever he was sleeping nearby, but that all changed once his brother had invited you over to dinner at their home. That’s how the friendship became to grow, you both shared similar tastes, music and even things like sleeping. He was your best friend since then and has been for a couple of months. Unfortunately, since he still holds a grudge against his brother Rei, you were kinda forced to choose between them, although not necessarily since you’d seen Rei almost everyday and Ritsu too, separated from each other. He opened himself up to you, telling Y/n how he felt like his brother had abandoned him at one point and how he didn’t want to feel that ever again, to which you had promised to stay by his side no matter what.

Soon, friendly cuddles were a thing under his favorite spot at the garden before going to the tea club. It felt like a routine; waking up, going to school, spending time with Ritsu and so on. Whenever he saw you with his brother, he really wasn’t jealous, just annoyed and bothered at the sight of Rei touching your arm slightly, whenever that happened he always approached you and placed his arm linked with yours as he waited for you both to finish said conversation. Feelings started to grow when he saw you waking up from one of your usual naps together, the way you slowly opened your eyes and how the sun softly graced your face, you looked like a sleeping angel, quite literally. He took it upon himself to confess the very day you both graduated, the last time you would’ve seen each other if it weren’t for his plans. Ritsu had pulled you aside, taking you to your usual spot as you both smile, a bit tearful at the sight of not being able to come back and share moments with each other but that’s when Ritsu held your hand softly

“Y/n..I want to apologize for how late this confession came to be but..I love you, I don’t want to let go of you just yet, or ever..please stay with me”

Ritsu asked as you smiled, his hands now on your cheeks as you pulled him in for a kiss, it felt so right to share such intimate moment with your now lover as he pulled back, looking at you dumbfounded for a moment as you spoke

“I love you more Ritsu~ I can’t wait to find more spots under trees so we can spend all the time in the world cuddling together”

Ibara Saegusa✰

The protective best friend who doesn’t like anyone coming near you. He’s always been like that, since day one of your friendship. Ibara at first offered you to work with him since the job was open to be his assistant. Then it turned into late night talks and drinking some coffee in the morning before attending to important stuff that he realized he had actually found a friend for the first time in ever. Apart from Eden and Adam if that counts, he really felt at ease around you. His work became less heavy and less dull, thanks to the help of a kind friend like you and the company he had every day, he seemed to be in a better mood each week. In business meetings or Eden/Adam practices, he’s always keeping an eye on you, if anyone makes you uncomfortable or your well-being overall. Even attending his lectures, he felt happy seeing you taking notes and being so attentive when he told his speeches.

It’s so weird seeing that he prioritizes your friendship over his work a few times like taking you to lunch or spending time doing whatever you both want. It caused some curiosity between the members of Eden since Ibara would always be swarming in work and the progress of their units. They sincerely have to thank you for letting him see his soft spot, his sweet side to all that workaholic Ibara. It was quite refreshing to be honest, seeing him so at ease and the strees and burden from over the years were at much calm now beside you. It was love, he couldn’t imagine a life without you, Ibara imagined the day where he would wake up beside you, smiling softly as he kissed you so dearly in the morning. He thought that those “daydreams” of you both spending time together was normal, but he was just really catching feelings. After a long time of consideration, he decided to take you out to a very exclusive dinner, one which the entire restaurant was worth more than the entire ensemble square. He sat in front of you, letting you choose a variety of dishes before grabbing your hand and speaking

“I’ll keep this short and simple, I really love your company, and I can’t help but wish more of it, more of your touch..if you catch what I mean..please don’t keep me waiting, the thought of being rejected is harsh but I’d rather know that- mmmphf-!”

He felt himself turn red, cheeks flaired with a pink hue as he felt your lips against his, his face was priceless. Chapped but so soft against yours, he didn’t want to let go, even for a catch of air, however when you did, your hands linked as you smiled

“I love you as well Ibara, don’t stress over something that was already expected from the both of us~”

Dorm life

Kanata Shinkai x Reader ♡ Tags: Fluff, established relationship (with Kanata), romance, platonic relationships with Hiyori and Rinne, she/her pronouns ♡ Word count: 1,746 ♡ Synopsis: Kanata has invited you over for the first time! He’s really excited to have you around and so are his roommates. This is inspired by one of Hiyori’s idol stories: ‘How’s The Weather With All Three Together?’

“I’m home!” Hiyori called out, but no response was given.

He was confused as he was always greeted by someone when he came back from work.

“Is no one at home?” he questioned, reminding himself of his roommates’ announcements this morning. “No… there should be someone… Shall I try that again?”

Kanata looked up and finally said, “I can hear you, Mr. Sunshine~”

“Kanata?!” exclaimed Hiyori, startled. “Were you intentionally ignoring me?”

Kanata giggled, “Yes, I thought it would be ‘funny!’”

“I’d appreciate an immediate reply, you know!”

“Okay then, welcome back~”

Hiyori sighed, tossing his bag to the side. He wasn’t mad at Kanata or anything, in fact, his face was drawn with a smile. Kanata was so childlike and innocent, you just couldn’t help but smile along with him.

“Is that why (Y/N) likes you?” Hiyori muttered to himself, and thankfully, Kanata didn’t catch that.

Hiyori thought of you as one of your close friends, especially since you were so close with Eden due to your childhood friendship with Ibara. Hiyori always wanted the best for you. That’s why he was so curious about your relationship with Kanata the first time you mentioned him. Now that he’s roommates with him, Hiyori could finally see why you must like him so much.

Out of the blue, Rinne burst in with all laughs.

“I’m home!” he announced, smiling ear to ear.

Kanata smiled, “Welcome home~”

“Yes, welcome back,” beamed Hiyori. “Rinne-senpai, you seem really happy.”

“Yep, I did quite well today,” Rinne replied, and they both knew that he meant pachinko and not his idol activities. “I exchanged my winnings for a bunch of snacks. You guys can have some if you like.”

“Oh, then I’ll have a little bit of chocolate then,” said Hiyori.

“Hmm, no,” started Kanata. “But I’ll take the ‘dried sardine’ snacks since I’m full right now. Hehe, it’s free ‘calcium’.”

Suddenly, something caught his eye, and Kanata continued, “Ah, these are (Y/N)’s favourites! I’ll take these too then… She’ll be so happy~ Thank you, Mr. ‘Monarch.’”

Hiyori smiled at this and thought it was cute.

“Wow, so these are the snacks (Y/N) likes?” Rinne asked curiously. “Well, at least she has better taste than you, Kanacchi.”

Kanata pouted at this but decided to let it go anyway.

“Oh, yes…” Kanata began, looking at his two roommates. “I invited (Y/N) over. She’s supposed to be here by four.”

Kanata’s two roommates shot up from their positions in panic.

“What?!” cried Hiyori, eyeing the time which read half past three. “Why didn’t you tell us sooner? Rinne-senpai, go take a shower! Those types of places have that unruly smell that I do not like and (Y/N) probably doesn’t like it either! Kanata, clean up your mess too!”

“I’m on my way, Hiyori-chan!” said Rinne quickly, hurrying into the bathroom.

“Ah!” Kanata began.

“Kanata, what’s the matter?” Hiyori asked as he began to put away all their loose things, but Kanata didn’t need to answer as Rinne, who was in the shower, screamed:

“IT’S COLD AS BALLS!”

Kanata sighed, “I forgot that I was ‘bathing’ before the two of you came back…”

“So, you left the water temperature turned down again… Don’t I always tell you to turn it back up after you have a bath?” said Hiyori. “Also, could you sweep the floor?”

Kanata had picked up the dustpan and began sweeping the floor with a broom. “Again? That’s rude. It’s only the first time this week,” he replied.

“I just know (Y/N) tells you the same thing when you’re using her bathroom,” Hiyori retorted.

Kanata couldn’t help but chuckle at his friend’s statement because it was true. You would say that to him.

Rinne came back sneezing, clearly cold from his freezing shower.

“Man, I just went through hell,” he said with another sneeze.

“You certainly got back fast,” Hiyori acknowledged, “Can you please dust the place?”

“Aye, aye!”

Kanata was confused about why Hiyori was ordering them around. It’s not like Keito was doing a room inspection.

“Kanata, it’s because (Y/N)’s coming over,” Hiyori replied with Rinne agreeing. “You wouldn’t want her to see how messy our dorm is, do you?”

It wasn't that messy, but Kanata agreed anyway. “I guess you’re right. (Y/N) would appreciate that.”

So, the three of them continued to clean the place up until it was sparkling. The floors were spotless, beds were made and pillows fluffed, they even dusted the whole place so you could see your reflection in everything they owned.

Hiyori beamed proudly, “Phew! Well, that’s that!”

“Well done, everyone,” applauded Rinne before his eyes caught the weird object on his bed. “Woah, what the hell is this? Did some cryptic just take over my bed?”

Kanata laughed and corrected him, “It’s a ‘giant isopod’ from the AOUMI aquarium! You can use it as a pillow if you like. Hiyori didn’t like it, so I hope you can keep it.”

“Sure, I’ll take it,” said Rinne. “As a thanks, you can take as many of those snacks. But Kanacchi, shouldn’t you give these plushies to your girlfriend?”

“It’s okay~ I give her all of AOUMI’s new ‘releases’ before they’re even being sold!” Kanata answered happily. “She’ll always be the first person I will ever give ‘merch’ to!”

Hiyori was silent for a moment as he took Kanata’s words in. It just reminded him of the time you would talk about your boyfriend and how happy he made you feel. Hiyori couldn’t help but pinch his roommate’s cheek.

“Huh…? Mr. Sunshine, what was ‘that’ for?” Kanata asked, perplexed.

“Nothing,” Hiyori replied with a soft chuckle.

A knock was heard and Rinne, who was the closest one to the door, opened it. You appeared to them with a smile on your face.

Kanata’s whole demeanour brightened up even more as he ran over to you for a big hug. “(Y/N)!” he cheered, picking you up and twirling you around.

You couldn’t help but smile along with him. Your arms went around his neck as you laughed too. Hiyori and Rinne watched the two of you with a smile on each of their faces.

"Wow, your guys' dorm is pretty clean," you commented, observing the place.

You sat down on Kanata's bed, eyeing how cute his little space in the corner was. He had decorated the space with things that he liked, things that related to the ocean. You watched the small fish swim around the beautifully decorated tank that he had set up beside his bed, but you just couldn't help but eye the photos he had up above his bed frame.

"Yeah, we cleaned up the place before you got here," admitted Rinne. "Now you could praise us and tell us we did a good job!"

"You weren't supposed to tell her that, Rinne-senpai!" Hiyori hissed but backtracked anyway. "So... are you going to say anything?"

Their words went into your ear and out of the next. You were too focused on the photos Kanata had framed. The biggest photo on the wall was just of the sea, but the smaller frames held his most cherished memories.

Kanata couldn't keep his eyes off you, so he instantly noticed what you were staring at. He was on the floor, his head laid on your lap as you stroked his hair lovingly.

"Do you like it?" he asked as he hugged your waist tighter.

You smiled a bit. Your eyes were focused on a particular framed photo. Not of the photo of Kanata's big show with Ryuseitai or his photo with Kaoru and Souma at the aquarium, but of a photo of you and him that was taken by the sea far from Ensemble Square. In the photo, Kanata held both of your hands as if he was dancing with you on the beach; both of you with big smiles on your faces.

But you have never seen this photo before.

"Chiaki took it of us," answered Kanata despite the fact you haven't audibly questioned it yet. "It's my favourite one."

“It’s really cute,” you said as you continued to stroke his hair which he hummed in response. “Haha, you look so adorable in this photo!”

His roommates sat on their own beds, eyeing you two curiously. They were happy to see their friend be treated with so much love by you.

At this time, Rinne was using the giant isopod plushie as a pillow. You recognised the plush right away.

“Oh, did Kanata give you one too, Rinne?”

“You mean the cryptic?” he went. “Yeah, Kanacchi’s so cute like that, isn’t he?”

You giggled, “Yeah! He gave me one too! He always gives me plushies from his aquarium, he’s sweet like that.”

Hiyori couldn’t help but smile at this. Since he was one of your close friends, he couldn’t help but want the best for you, and that included romantic relationships. But now he knew that he didn’t need to worry about you anymore. Kanata was perfect for you, and he could see that you were happy with him.

“I originally gave it to Hiyori,” said Kanata. “But he didn’t want it. Is it really that scary?”

“It’s scary,” you, Rinne and Hiyori simultaneously replied.

Yet you continued, “But it’s cute in its own way.”

The three of you spent the rest of the time together playing games and watching a movie. You ended up cooking a meal to eat with them too. You didn’t want Kanata to cook, and you doubted that Hiyori or Rinne could cook either (considering the fact that Hiyori was a rich boy and Rinne was a monarch).

They applauded your cooking and you all ate together happily, just like a family. By the time you had to go, they begged you to stay.

“You’re always welcome here, (Y/N)!” cried Hiyori dramatically.

“If you ever just want to sleep over, just ask!” said Rinne. “Just don’t perform inappropriate activities with Kana—”

“Do not finish that sentence, Rinne-senpai.”

You and Kanata smiled at their childish antics. He kissed you goodnight as he held you in his arms.

“Goodnight, angelfish,” he said softly.

“Goodnight, my love.”

He watched you walk down the corridor as you waved him goodbye. Your dorm was on the second floor of the building, so you didn’t need him to walk you back.

“Well then,” started Rinne. “Time to go to sleep, Kanacchi.”

Kanata nodded, “Right!”

And when he went to sleep, all his dreams were about you.

➳ kohaku oukawa

✧ he still writes letters to you — kohaku used to write letters to give you when you were still together. it always managed to pull at your heartstrings; pages filled with nothing but heartwarming words that he would never be able to admit to your face. he never stopped writing them, even after you broke up, even if he knew that you didn't love him, even if he knew that you wouldn't ever read them. he would never stop, not when you were still the only thing plaguing his mind every single day.

➳ rinne amagi

✧ he still looks for you when he comes home — on some days, rinne forgets that it's all over between you two. he had gotten so accustomed to you waiting for him to come home, so accustomed to it all; the kisses you'd greet him with, the cuddling after a long day and the soft conversations shared between the both of you. he finds himself looking for you in what used to be your shared bedroom, only to find the bed in the same state as it was before he left.

➳ kanata shinkai

✧ he still stares at where you used to sit on the edge of the school fountain — most yumenosaki students know that kanata often idles in the school fountain and you were usually found sitting on the edge, talking to him. well, at least when you two were still a couple. kanata finds himself blankly staring at where you used to sit, his dull eyes unmoving from that specific spot. he misses when you'd tell him about your day, about the most mundane things. he misses how much love you held in your gaze when you looked at him and how you'd hug him even when he was drenched in water. he misses when you were there.

➳ mayoi ayase

✧ he still looks at the pictures of you both — mayoi knows he shouldn't still be thinking of you, he knows that he should move on, but how could he when he was still so painfully in love with you? mayoi knows that he shouldn't be looking at the pictures he has of you both, reminiscing over the now bittersweet memories, but he couldn't bear to let them go. and so he continues to cling onto the only thing he has left of you, even though he knew all too well how pitiful it was.

➳ mao isara

✧ he still waits for you to tell him to take a break — mao knew he had a bad habit of overworking himself, constantly burying his nose in student council paperwork and not noticing how late it had gotten by the time he finished. you always used to be the one who checked on him, who made sure to tell him to take a break and force him to take one when he was being stubborn — it was always you. but now, when he looked up to meet your gaze once he finished his work, instead of finding the smile he was so in love with, he found the room empty. just like before.

➳ nazuna nito

✧ he still buys things that remind him of you — nazuna had the habit of buying you little trinkets that remind him of you; anything from jewellery of your favourite colour to cute plushies that he thinks resemble you. you were always in the back of his mind no matter what he was doing, even if you weren't together anymore. he knew that he wouldn't be giving you these items, he knew deep down that he shouldn't be doing this, and yet the pile of gifts that you would never receive continues to grow day by day, stuffed away in a corner of his room.

➳ kuro kiryuu

✧ everything still reminds him of you — kuro always managed to find bits and pieces of you everywhere he went; desserts of your favourite flavour, buildings painted in colours you liked, clothes that fit your style — he thought of you wherever he went. he found comfort in that, up until you decided to break it off with him, at least. suddenly, being reminded of you at every instance became bittersweet. part of him was grateful for the memories he had made with you, but another part of him felt wistful at the fact that he wouldn't be able to make anymore of them.

➳ subaru akehoshi

✧ he still visits the spot you two used to hang out at — a quaint park, that was where you and subaru had met for the first time. it had become your unofficial meeting place — it was where you two got to know each other, and it was also where he had confessed to you, under the falling cherry blossom petals he adored so much. and yet, a year later, he finds himself under the same falling cherry blossom petals, but this time, the spot on the bench beside him was empty.
