i like to imagine the way dfo is revealed is like... thru what starts as a totally normal conversation

nobody asks izuku abt his dad for Todoroki Reasons and also bc izuku never talks abt him so they assume its a sensitive subject. unfortunately mineta is an insensitive little bitch and asks one day while talking abt his parents, "midoriya whats ur dad like?"

and izuku actually seems totally fine talking abt him? he just hadnt before bc nobody asked. he talks abt inko more bc he sees her everyday and he only talks to his dad through phone call abt every other week. his dad often sends gifts tho like rly nice notebooks and weighted pens and video games and how does a regular businessman afford all that?

izuku's only answer is that his dad's company pays well. as they start getting deeper into the convo

"did your dad get mad at u when you fucked up as a kid? mine did"

izuku says "no i dont actually remember him being angry ever. now that i think about it the only time ive ever heard him be even slightly worked up was when i told him i got into ua"

they assume this being 'worked up' was surprise and excitement bc by this point they know izuku got his quirk 'late'. izuku gets this feeling deep down that it wasnt a positive feeling at all that his dad had

"wait, didnt you get bullied as a kid? wasnt he angry about that?"

that makes izuku think a little more bc that is weird.

what he did remember was, "he talked to the caretakers at the school i was in, and the parents of the bullies, i think, and it didnt happen again."

the mood gets uneasy after that, and only becomes worse as izuku thinks through his father from a strangers eyes and realizes the dude is really fucking weird

knows way too much trivia for it to be normal, too good at quirk and combat analysis to be a regular businessman, weirdly calm, always in formal wear(?) except for some of the ugliest hawaiian shirts izuku had ever seen

izuku doesnt have a picture of his father but with his hero sketching capabilities he can draw a pretty good likeness.

at some point bakugou walks in and refuses to get dragged in but says, "deku's dad? dude's a real fuckin creep. if you meet him," he thinks about it for a bit, "...don't. dont meet him"

aizawa is in some corner getting successively more worried as the conversation progresses and as the conversation dries out and the crowd starts going into their rooms

he is almost asleep when all might walks into the room drinking a cup of tea and does a spit take after seeing the drawing on the table, immediately followed by a bloody coughing fit

"who drew this?"

Ooh, because I thought about writing a fic for it before, what about if one of them got hit with a truth quirk? But one that forces them to tell the truth about how they feel about a specific person?

oooh yes ok there are two options for this so imma do a few for each

kacchan:

kacchan gets hit with a truth quirk that basically makes it so you're in physical pain until u tell the person u feel the strongest for exactly how u feel for them, whether it be love or hate

obviously for bkg its love but deku being deku gets worried and thinks that kacchan's gonna like intensely hate him or smth because bkg is literally writhing with the effort it takes not to tell the truth. he's literally bedridden he's in so much pain

because he refuses to tell izuku he loves him. he doesnt deserve it

eventually izuku like breaks down in tears and he's like i cant stand seeing u so badly hurt please just tell me you hate me u dont have to try and protect me from your feelings i just want u to stop being in pain even if it means i have to live knowing you hate me

and bkgs like literally so mad abt this bullshit that he immediately confesses like bitch wtf?? im literally in love with you??? i-??

deku's like omg kacchan why didnt u just SAY SO and bkgs like uh bc i dont deserve u and deku's like now that's some real bullshit and like kicks bkg in the balls and then they live happily ever after

but when deku starts spilling it he literally mentions the bullying once he's like idk man it really sucked that u bullied me and u were a real asshole but also i forgive u and have for a while bc you've atoned and apologized and also ur just like so sexy and hot

which naturally devolves into deku just giving bkg like an hour long love confession he's like ...so anyway kacchan is sexy and hot and super pretty and he's so kind and caring and he's so funny when he makes all his yelly faces i love him so much kacchan's so cute :D

alternative title: it’s been awhile since you two broke up and until now neither of you changed your contact information for various reasons and because of this you are still saved as the emergency contact

kageyama:

kageyama would either be working out or sleeping when he suddenly gets a call from a random number in the middle of the night

say like.. 2-3 am

mf wouldn’t even look at the caller when answering cs its either he got interrupted during his sessions or he got woken up

he groggily answers the phone and winces when he hears loud club music from the other end just dampening his mood a bit more lol

“is this kageyama tobio?” he hears the other line ask

kageyama suddenly sits up straight like wtf happened this time

mind you this mf doesnt even go to clubs so why would anyone in a club or some party area call him let alone get his number

“yeah. who is this?” is what kageyama replies

“sorry to bother you at this time but you are the emergency contact of miss y/n l/n and i’m here to inform you that she is passed out drunk at (club location) so if you don’t mind please pick her up for her own safety”

without a second thought, kageyama agrees and grabs his keys to his car and basically pressed on the gas and zoomed at the said location

he doesnt even realize how worried he was til he noticed how his grip on the steering wheel was so tight his knuckles turned white

even if you two broke it off, he still genuinely deeply cares for you to this extent of picking your ass up at some club doing god knows what

kageyama has probably began overanalyzing the situation and thinking it was his fault on why you were acting like this

when he arrives at the club, thankfully you were still there with the bartender

you were slouched on the bar with shot glasses surrounding you

“i just miss him so much” you cried to the bartender. “i mean i gave him everything! he was my first he even took away my goddamn virginity and yet..” you paused, lips quivering, as the thought of kageyama breaking up with you replayed in your head like a broken record

“y/n” kageyama speaks up after eavesdropping at your little rant to the bartender

you whip your head up and lo and behold, it was the guy who broke your heart. the reason why you’re in this club for the 4th time this week

“t-tobio?” you stuttered, suddenly feeling sober

kageyama cringes at the sight. your hair was all tousled, your eyebags are prominent making it look like you’ve cried for weeks or you had no sleep

but he assumes you did both only making him guiltier

kageyama walks up to you and drapes his jacket over your exposed shoulders

“let’s go home yeah?” he says quietly. you don’t say anything but let him take you home

before you two leave the bar, he thanks the bartender for keeping you safe and sound by the time he arrived (tipping him of course)

you woke up with a killer headache the next morning on his bed with a million questions running through your mind

suna:

you and suna had a rough breakup

there were a lot of unanswered questions and overall you two got toxic real quick just a little after suna went pro

you don’t even know why or how it happened

suna would suddenly come home all stressed and shit and wouldnt utter a word to you and the next morning he’d be back to the suna you once knew

this became a reoccuring thing where it all just piled up and boom! mf called it quits after YEARS being together

and because of this abrupt occurrence in your relationship,

(you’ve broken up a few times before this btw)

he seemed to be genuinely done with the relationship (for now is what you think lol)

so you were the bitter ex girlfriend

tweeting and sharing abt very obvious and shady things abt your relationship with suna n the such

when the twins found out oh boy were they in for a surprise

IMMEDIATELY you rushed to the hospital cs wtf happened to your (ex)boyfriend

and when you arrived at the emergency room, you see suna sitting on the bed with his leg elevated

“whoops” is what all suna says when he watches you go through a rollercoaster of emotions

you didn’t exactly know if you wanted to cry, laugh or be angry at his situation

laugh cs mf deserved it for breaking ur heart

cry cs u thought something really bad happened to him

angry that he pushed himself too hard for volleyball

you sat next to him and waited for his doctor to tell you what happened and what needs to be done

the doctor basically tells you suna just needs to stay at home til his leg heals before he can start playing again and you just need to be with him to take care of him n shit

nothing much tbh

just missing a lot of practice and you being around again

something he genuinely misses but acts like he doesnt

on the inside suna was glad he just needs to stay at home cs that means he can destress for a little longer and that you were there, maybe he can get you back

what are your thoughts about bakugou and midoriya's relationship? platonic, i mean

I live and die for it, every part of the manga in which that relationship is shown progressing is between my favorite parts of the manga and I’ve reread them a hundred times and cried over them way more than necessary - the battle trial one? yes, the end of terms exam? absolutely yes holy shit, the post-license exam fight? god yes fuck me that’s my absolute fav, the rescue arc? shit yes between all the reasons why that arc’s my fave the change in the deku/baku relationship is definitely a worthy of note one

It’s an interesting relationship, a painful one that’s making both of them grow so so so much, a rivalry they both need to better each other and keep each other straight on the path to become two great, all-around heroes - I’m not sure they’ll ever end up having the type of relationship Izuku has with Todoroki or Bakugou with Kirishima, I don’t think it’s possible for them to be friends like that, they’re just too different to properly fit like that and to avoid stepping on each other’s toes every single day of their lives they’d have to change their core personalities too much, but they did end up being able to coexist (Bakugou’s even giving Deku tips!!!) and I do think they’ll be able to cooperate and support each other in the end. If one day they’ll be able to make fun of each other in a friendly manner and egg each other on and be honest with each other without it escalating into a full blown fight I’d truly be happy, that’s probably my main dream for this whole manga. For them to have a healthy rivalry, one in which they can maybe even laugh together. I think it might happen, I’m waiting for it to happen

What a question lmao no, no they never interact with Teru, it’s a crack ship haha I don’t really have a reason to ship it tbh, I just think Teru’s personality would fit nicely with Bo and Kuroo - Teru’s one of my fave characters in Haikyuu and I like shipping my faves around, but he’s interacted with only his teammates and Karasuno so everything else is just crack... I like a whole bunch of Teru ships tbh, bokuroteru is the one I’ve drawn the most for a bit by accident and a bit because they’re the ones with the most entertaining possible dynamics, to me? They’re a bunch of excited silly kids, that’s fun!

I don’t think I’ll ever have Kirishima’s backstory at this point. I’m giving up. I’ll just make up my own version of it. Kirishima’s had a beautiful past with a lot of happiness a great family with loving parents and both older and younger siblings that love him more than they love air, he’s got three pet turtles and a dog and the only reason why he had his hair dyed black was because he went through a really intense goth phase. That’s it, that’s my version, Hori can keep the sadness for himself

You’re most welcome! As I said once already I don’t really care for Mineta, so including him in stuff when it makes logical sense to isn’t much of a problem for me hah maybe, if I’m lucky, one day he’ll grow as a character and out of the walking trope he is, and that might just mean I’ll start drawing him more by himslef too haha
