@ anon with the lovely hospital AU, apologies for the delay i was chewing on this for a couple days haha there's a whole season of grey's anatomy primetime soap worthy material. i love how fully you've filled out the AU with characters and unspooled all the drama. i can see why it would be difficult to write, it does have a big scope of imagination there. thank you for sharing it with meeeeeee

Shmi is a renowned heart surgeon. Best there is in the country (not just the state thank you very much) and she did it all while her son was young. Her grandmother (Grandma Mira) and her two cousins (Peli Moto and Beru Whitesun ) both helped her out a ton. She is admired and Skywalker is a name very well known in medical circles.

She decided to became a heart surgeon when her own mother (insert name here) died from a heart issue that no one wanted to touch surgically. Anakin was 9 years old. Anakin has his mom up on a pedestal - she is perfect and smart, the best surgeon, the best mom, she’s done it all. Anakin feels the pressure to be just as good as his mom. People expect him to be just as brilliant and successful as his mother. He expects it from himself. Shmi just wants him to be happy. Anakin is ready to start his residency at 25. His mother is in line to be chief of surgery at the hospital she works at (Twin Suns Medical Center). Its considered the hospital to intern at if you want your specialty to be heart surgery. Anakin isn’t really sure what he wants to specialize in, and he doesn’t want people to say that he got it easy during his internship. So he goes to the next best thing (it’s actually the number one hospital overall in the country but to Anakin is second to the hospital where shmi works because Shmi works there). He goes to Jedi Coruscant General Hospital. Fuck. Sorry. Sorry.” Keeps walking but turns around to walk backwards to meet the really pretty blue eyes of the definitely pissed off red head “I owe you. I’ll bring you a … a coffee? Was it coffee during lunch. Sorry!” Ferus Olin, a childhood nemesis makes his appearance. He’s assigned to be Padme’s intern (the woman who gave him back his engagement ring when he was 22 and 27. He hadn’t realized she was back in town and that maybe it was purposeful that he didn’t know). Its turning out to be a truly shit day and then the pretty red head from the parking lot makes his appearance and anakin wants to sink into the ground. But. The red head picks him to help him with a surgery. … Its pretty much a grey’s anatomy AU. Obi-Wan and anakin start hooking up pretty much immediately. Ferus Olin and Anakin make nice and turn out to be pretty decent friends. Then. Anakin realizes that Padme had kids, with him. The twins. And never told him. 🤯. That’s smoothed over. He’s a dad now. He loves it. Obi-Wan’a supportive. Their secret relationship is starting to not be so secret anymore. Then. obi-wan’s ex wife (Satine Kryze) pop in with a kid. obi-wan’s kid. Obi-Wan never told him that he’d been married or that he had a kid. They break up. Anakin thinks about quitting. Then about transferring. Then gets side tracked because Aunt Beru (his mom’s cousin) got married and her husband’s dad was in a bad car crash. Its all hands on deck to save his life. Shmi makes an appearance at the hospital and Obi-Wan realizes that Anakin is Shmi’s son 🤯 Owen’s dad makes it. Anakin and Obi-Wan make up. Their relationship is outted but everything works out. There’s other small and big dramas but thats pretty much it lol

you were beginning to lose all hope; truly. you never were one to be pessimistic. though more days where you failed to feel the sun on your face again, or the rain kiss your cheeks, you knew your life may have ended then and there. some people just weren't meant to get lucky.

you sat alone. like you always did. you preferred it that way. it seemed as though others in the asylum were scared of you. the rumours that you chopped up your family in the kitchen of your family home spread like wildfire. funny, you pondered. that the atrocities of people in this pit of hell based first impressions of you upon assumptions they convinced themselves was reality. you didn't mind. you never did. not really.

you remember meeting him; the memory exploded in your mind like fireworks, bleeding crepuscular colours over the blank canvas of the dull ache the asylum reduced you to. for the first time in two years, you no longer felt lonesome. the steady aching of your heart longed for him. to touch him. to feel him. to love him. kit walker was undeniably the most beautiful man you'd ever seen. you think, now looking back, that's why it hurt as much as it did.

you remember it well. that incessant song replaying over and over in your mind. though you'd learnt to drown it out. the music was loud but your thoughts were louder. he came and sat across from you. his eyes pouring into yours, the darkened hues warm and inviting. you swore then and there that you'd drown in them and die happy. your heart thudded. loud, beating. had he heard it not? he most definitely did.

"the name's kit." he smiled. his smile, like his gaze, was warm. soft and sweet, too pure for a place like this. his voice dripped like honey, sweetening your mood. you were convinced he'd give you toothaches with a voice like that.

"y/n" your hands stayed placed in your lap, back straight. your eyes fixated on him. the look of innocent adoration ignited the fire crackling deep within kit's stomach. in some way, he felt guilty. he was married.

"i've heard about you." the words flower with ease. you maintained eye contact. you dared not look away; not once. kit shifted in his place across from you, avoiding looking at your eyes. he felt vulnerable. the dullness evident in your irises, broken and bruised. though he dared not ask.

these weren't the first words kit wished to hear. who hadn't heard about him? the grotesque image that had been painted about him sat heavy in his stomach, the nausea swarmed him like waves. though unlike those crashing against shores, these waves are violent. unpleasant.

"funny," kit responded, desperate to shift conversation away from him. "i don't think I've heard about you."

you cocked your head to the side, eyebrow raised in amusement. he's changing the subject. that much you knew. and you let him; he'd open up when he was ready. they always do.

he continued. "i definitely would've remembered if i had."

he smiled.

there it was. that's what got you.

those perfectly crafted lines on his cheeks as he smiled. basking in the pearly whites that he offered you. through the mediocre attempt at flirting you could see it. pain, guilt, innocence. all the emotions you could envision all at once. you understood him. though you needn't want to pry, you couldn't help the subtle curiosity about him that spiked the more you two got to know each other. you relished in those moments. cherished them. and for the first time, you felt hopeful again.

"kiss me." he said it so innocently, looking down at you with heavy lids, sultry and desperate. longing for any human connection he could conjure. kit clawed at your shoulders, caressing your hands with such a delicate touch that would make angels weep with envy. you stared up at him from the place he remained between your legs, tracing his jaw with your finger, moving them to his lips. your heart ached for him, as much he did you.

"we could get caught..." you hesitated. and for the first time, you appeared unsure of yourself. you wanted to, god how you wanted to. you couldn't fathom how desperate you were to feel his body pressed against yours, moulded together in perfect connection.

"i'd get caught a thousand times over if it meant kissing you just once."

you suppose it's what drew you to kit walker. his charismatic smile that had you melting on your own two feet. or perhaps it was the way he cradled you so gently. or even when he told you that he loved you. that when you were both free from this wretched place, he'd marry you and you'd be his and he'd be yours. you never were quite certain.

it was a colder night in november when you realised you loved him.

you guessed it was around six am. you were sat in your cell, consumed by your own thoughts and before you knew it you were being called for breakfast. it was the usual, eggs and a slice of toast. a small portion of berries for after if you were lucky enough. you often refuse it all together, the stale bread leaving an unpleasant aftertaste in your mouth. it was around seven am when you saw him. covered in bruises, bitter red droplets painted his lips. his eyes were dark and heavy, he hadn't slept at all. he offered you a timid smile as he sat across from you.

you'd been here before. you remembered it all too fondly.

"what have they done to you?" your voice was hoarse, like a whisper only kit could hear. your breathing was shaking, and you emitted the breath you were unaware you were holding. he merely sighed in response, looking down at the floor sheepishly, hesitant to meet your concerned stare.

"they caught us..."

it hit you.

he'd taken a beating for you. the scars on his back would be a constant reminder of the brutality he endured. and it was all for you. thirty maybe forty whips and lashes of pain to symbolise the undying love he held for you and you alone. your heart swelled in your chest, the blood pumped like a jolt of electricity igniting the passion deep inside you.

is this what it felt like? to be in love?

"we're gonna get outta here." kit had whispered so gently, like he always did. he embraced you with a strong grip, as though he seldom wished to let you go. you nodded in response. In desperation. wild thoughts ran through your mind, swarming your conscience. you were finally going to get out of here. after all these years. with the man you loved.

alas, it was true what he had said. he promised freedom. it had been three days, six hours and forty-two minutes exactly since kit had escaped the asylum. three days, six hours and forty-two minutes since he'd left you. alone once more. his vow of freedom had become nothing but a web of broken promises, shattering your heart into grand shards and leaving you lost among the wreckage.

you'll be twenty-one tomorrow. you'll spend it alone. enclosed by these daunting walls, broken by the pain of your first love lost. you dreamt of him that night. those solitude nights spent with nothing but a blank mind became envisions of dark irises and dimpled cheeks. his voice rang like a bell in your ears, you remember it vividly.

"the name's kit."

though you let nothing but a single tear drip slowly down your cheek, watching as the droplet lay to rest on your knuckle.

First of all, hello lmao. I just found your blog because I love lmk stuff even though I'm not very active on this social network, I've seen your amazing art on other social networks, and I wanted to ask you kindly if you could help giving me some tips to be able to promote my art or my blog in a better way or how to get people to see my content more, because I have seen that you have been very popular here in such a short time and I have been here trying for more than a year and I have achieved almost nothing, when I share my art on various sites there are no comments and I don't know what to do anymore, I am a bit desperate because I really want to work on this because I love it, it is my passion and also I will want to have some income with commissions because I need it, so yes I would like to make money doing what I am passionate about, but sometimes I wonder if my art is really good or what am I doing wrong because nobody responds to me when I post something. It was long, sorry if this has bothered you, I hope you can answer me, I feel that it would help me.

Okay so what you’re asking about is marketing. Now in the grand scheme of things bud, I’m actually pretty small. Maybe in correlation to a small fandom I might have made an impression but as the internet at large I’m a guppy compared to some of the big fish. Honestly, I prefer it that way.

The bigger you get the easier a target you are, and the less you’re a person to the people you interact with. Don’t forget that.

The old saying, it's lonely at the top, is very true. The bigger you get the more likely people are to put expectations on you for how you should behave or what they expect. You’ll always be vulnerable to criticism and unable to reach out to your ‘fans’ in a fashion that isn’t either going to leave you exposed or looked at with scrutiny. When it comes to breaking into a fandom though, choosing what your focus is and making sure you have in mind what branding you’re going for. People like consistency and they like predictability. Think about some of the most famous Youtubers today, they’re always updating and they have a ‘theme’ to what they do. I’m a comic artist and wannabe animator, that’s what my content is. I post occasional illustrations between larger projects but as a whole people who follow me can generally expect I have something in the works.

Looking at your message as a whole though I’m gonna give you a little bit of a hard pill. Don’t base your worth off what other people say. Yes, not getting any responses s u c k s. We’ve all been there and we all want to know how we did. In the grand scheme of things artists are a line of lil dogs wagging their tails and waiting for a pat on the head. You gotta find joy in just chasing that passion though. I see a lot of artists chasing clout and not chasing their artistic passion. They base every decision off what people want, or what they think will get them noticed. It’s very hollow. You can make a living in the comic book, illustration, animation, industry and never be noticed by the online sphere as a whole. Trust me on that, the amount of people I see that I know are published and recognized artists in the industry and have almost no following is a pretty regular thing. Again though, that comes down to your focus and what you want. If you want to have an online presence and gain a following, choose your lane, market yourself and keep your social media oriented towards that. Make a character for yourself and how you want to be perceived by people. I’m not always as cheeky in person, or horrific, but I like the humor of it and it builds a persona for me online. If you want a career and you want to chase that dream, focus on improving yourself first. If you keep posting it online, trust me, the rest will follow.

There is no magic pill to making a social media following overnight. There are tricks, things to do to help grow it over time. Marketing classes are a thing and can help. But all and all, I’m also a believer in the fact that, if you love what you do, the rest will gradually follow.

here's a several months old starry-eyed snippet from the chapter i still haven't finished editing... someone call the press, hard worker of the year over here LMAO (warning: implied nsfw)

He scrolled through social media absent-mindedly, barely paying attention to the posts suggested to him, having long scrolled past anything new from accounts he actually followed. After spending far too much time on each of his many social medias, he allowed his eyes to wander to the group of apps on the very last page of his home screen. With a quick glance to confirm that yes, the door was closed, he opened the group and swiped through sets of decoy apps before pressing on the very last one. James was not very good at keeping secrets, didn’t know how to lie for his life, and was very lucky that nobody had ever thought to question him before because even he knew that this was a ridiculously obvious way to hide something. All thoughts of his idiotic attempts at secrecy left his mind, though, the moment the app loaded to present a brand new post waiting for him. He ignored the short caption alongside it, more focused on the video attached. With his heart thumping in his chest he made sure his headphones were connected and spared yet another glance up to his door before pressing play, lying on his right with his arm reached out from underneath him to hold his phone. His own wide eyes reflected back at him from the screen for only a moment while the video loaded, but were quickly replaced with a scene he was much more interested in.

don't even worry about whatever he's doing, i'm sure it's very family friendly and he will not be in for a shock when he finally meets his best friend's recently un-estranged brother who of course has nothing to do with what he's doing at the moment.

honestly it depends on the story and the character. for most characters, i actually do a lot of it on the fly/throwing darts because (as much as i love sex) a lot of my wips don't have sex as a MAJOR plot point that i need to plan out, so i only think about it when i feel like it or i wanna do something sexy.

paramour and the fall of galere universe in general is different because esp in book 1 with hya & amon sex IS a major plot point. so i did a LOT more work than i've ever done kind of developing out sexual preferences and histories esp for hya and amon :)

🤝 Have you written any non-sexual or platonic kink scenes before?

nah never done it. its just not really my thing personally, but i think it's cool when other people do it! (like @henrike-does-writing-sometimes when they've written anruh and ruben in that predator/prey scene that was so GOOD. obsessed with it tbh).

another scene that i really really like is actually a curveball one that i haven't ever talked about but me and my partner yves have a Lot of OCs and two of our characters, kameko and densetsu, eventually end up in a literal like 7-8 person polycule with the empress (mei) and others. however, they were each other's first times when they were like 18-20-ish when everyone was in the "feelings are a complicated mess" stage, before they actually all figured everything out and got together with their respective 'main partners' plus everyone else. it's actually kind of long and i wanna edit it a bit before i post it, but i don't mind sharing that little scene in the next like. hour or so LMAO. but i come back to it a lot because i love the banter kame and deni have, and i feel like i really portrayed how tumultuous kameko's mind was at the time (because very long story short, she has very low self esteem at this point in her life, in part because she doesn't know she's bigender, in part because of her tragic backstory tm among other things and this is also before yves and i added more info to the backstories, such as kameko and her brother/cousin being dragons etc etc) but yeah. they're funny and i love their dynamic so i find myself rereading that scene often.

I'm Em, I'm a very normal trans person who absolutely does not let her weird obsession with what is essentially just robot-fucker v*re infect her every day life. Hi, it kind of came out of nowhere but do you think that Marvus's music would be actually good ? Like I can't imagine some 14-15 yo kid, supported and working for other kids, being professional (not that teenagers can't be great artists, but in the context of Alternia it's just different). It just kind of cracks me up if IRL he really made shitty mixtapes that hypes everyone up lmao and Teals would just work as some weird ambassador for purples/artists that resolve teenage drama haha

What do you think ? Do they have enough cultural background to compose things for themselves or Condy gave them just enough space but not quite so things can't evolve?

This ask got me deep diving haha. I'll get to some more, long, rambling headcanons under the cut, but here's the short of it:

Canon tells us he has a huge, cult like following, so his music is likely "good" (which is subjective, but we'll get to that later).

He already had a background (loosely speaking) in entertainement before he got famous by being a contestent on Slam or Get Culled (which keeps him relevant; most contestant series bing back previous winners, so he's very present in the entertainment sphere). In my opinion (and this is entering headcanon territory), this means he's had plenty of relevant training regarding... hmm how to put this. Finding and keeping an audience? Putting on the entertainer's face and saying the right words? Public relations stuff, you know? Does that makes sense? This does imply that his music is somewhat commercial and easy to sell, however (although I choose not to headcanon that. Popular fanon and I agree on one thing: I like the idea that his music is kinda silly yet clever with excellent samples a la young gravy).

The idea of teals being the auspictices between the music/ entertainment industry and like, just the general population is a super fun world building element haha! I love that. I've always seen certain castes being culturally predisposed towards certain quadrants, and teals have always read as ashen-predisposed to me. Might be the neurodivergence speaking, though, haha.

That being said, the entertainment industry- both on earth in real life so likely on Alternia- is the forefront of propaganda. And while Marvus styles himself as a musician, he's actually somewhat more of a politician.

Before I deep dive under the cut, the TL;DR is: imagine if Hatsune Miku worked for, idk, the CIA. That's... kind of how I see Marvus lmfao (although not a super literal parallel obviously; I don't think Marvus works for anyone beside himself). I'm at work so this post is pretty rushed, but hopefully you can get my jist.

So here's the thing that has always stuck out to me: Marvus and the music industry are kind of one in the same, you know? Made to get stuck in your head haha.

This puts him in a very powerful political position. It's noted in his friendsim that his music is "super woke and definitely not casteist at all." As MSPAR attended that concert with Zebruh, it's important to note that weirdo castists were on their mind. To me, this says that Marvus's music is so open for interpretation that people will always hear exactly what they want.

(I know the popular opinion is just that he's psychic pulling psychic fuckery, but honestly that's no fun for me. Marvus is very intelligent and conniving, and I'd prefer to deep dive into that.)

You know what Marvus has that most seadwellers don't? An audience, an opinion, and the means to make it all happen.

I think it's worth noting that when I say "politician" on Alternia, it's honestly more like an influencer? Cridea, for instance, strikes me as someone with a political agenda and political pull (and I don't think it's a coincidence at all that they're linked in act 2). They are, after all, young adults at best (I see Marvus as 19 on Alternia).

Do I think Marvus went into the inustry with politics on his mind? No, not at all. He was- in my headcanon- just a sixteen year old kid with no delusions of grandeur at all. He simply was that good.

The only problem is that he doesn't really hve anyone he's working for. He's religious (canonically, and imo to an extent), so it's very possible all of his power plays and messages have a subtle religious tie-in. Mostly, though, I think he's in it for himself. Mirthful Idolotry: he's an idol. This isn't sustainable in the long run, though, so I always wonder about what might cause his downfall in the future.

I think he's intelligent enough to come up with clever word play, and frankly there's the caste element as well.

Anyway. Because politics are involved, I'd be shocked if off-world trolls (trolls who are like Tirona for instance) aren't involved in the effort.

So do I think his music is good? No.

I think it is evil :o)

Anyway, random headcanon: I think music on Alternia has a slight buzzng sound to it that only trolls can pick up the subtlties of. For humans, it sounds like that cicada buzz sounds of flourscent lighting.

🌻 How often do you read your own fics?

not very often lol. i do go back once in a while after i posted it to check for any grammar errors but once it's out there, i don't really want to re-read it and sit through past-mads's thought process and cringe at the stuff. I don't know, I just don't particularly enjoy doing that.

📗 Do you want to write something outside of fanfiction? If so, what about?

I do have a bunch of original story ideas; it's mostly sci-fi stuff. didn't get very far with them and lost track of the plot a couple times. i guess fanfics offer me a better medium to like look at some specifics and start from there; i feel like one-offs are better for me right now. i used to write short stories - this one particular time travel war story but once again, didn't really go anywhere. I hope to get back into it someday.

🚦What sort of endings do you prefer to write: ambiguous, bad, happily ever after, etc.?

I answered this before but to offer a tl;dr version: ambiguous endings are my jam mostly because i'm lazy lmao.

there's no such thing as "trash" in art. you put in your time and effort and passion and love and etc buddy, take the credit. get a victory snack. you deserve it

be mindful of what you're writing, groups/cultures/things you're representing - it is always good to fact check it before to ensure you aren't introducing anything harmful

writing fics, creating art, making fan videos - all art forms are not "content". the people who engage w it, who leave kudos and comments are not "consuming it" - your work isn't factory slop to use manufacture-esque terms. as a matter of fact, creative work as a whole should just eliminate the words "consumption" and "content" from its lexicon. just call yourself a 'creator' - it's so much badass.

Hi! Welcome to my shifting journal!

So, I'm Josephine or Josie or Jo. Whatever you prefer. I go by fetus_jesus on shifttok and phetus_jesus on shifttwt (I mostly use shifttwt though because shifttok is boring LMAO). Recently I've started a shifting journal to try to work out my issues and figure out why I'm not shifting. I'll also just be talking about random DR stuff in it to just get it out there since I feel awkward spamming my twitter about it. I'm posting my entries here on tumblr because I asked my mutuals on twitter if I should. Like if it would help them to see someone vocalizing their struggles. Most of them voted yes so here we are! Some entries may be short some may be long, it's just whatever I'm feeling that day. Also, I'm not writing an entry every day and I might not post my entries right away.

A bit about me if you don't know me from either of my accounts! Again, I'm Josephine. I'm 21, born on January 3rd. I'm bisexual and nonbinary and go by they/them pronouns. I've been in the community since 2020. Didn't make a shifttok account until 2022 and didn't start my shifttwt until 2 months ago. Arguably I like shifttwt way better and have made a bunch of friends on there in such a short time where I've only really made one friend on shifttok. Also, shifttok just bores me now. I get to talk about my DRs way better and obsess over it way more through twitter. Plus, making tik toks takes too much time and gives me too much anxiety. Twitter has a much more chill community. 19. Do you enjoy creating OCs or do you prefer to stick solely to canon characters?

stick solely to canon characters!!! i have a couple dna characters who are my darling light and life but i also don't really count them as OCs bc they're rooted in the original play to me forever and i don't usually throw them into unrelated fic (except leah my sam ecklund big sister. that's leah dna to me. whoops)

27. What area of writing do you feel strongest in?

uhhhh depends on the fic !!! some fics i feel really solid in the dialogue for, some i feel iffy on dialogue and comfortable in description, sometimes i like to really sit into the world building/setting/etc-- it depends on the fic and the setting and my headspace more than anything !!! (though i am forever curious as to what OTHER people think my strength/s in my writing is 👀)

33. Is there a specific word count that you hold yourself to/enjoy writing the most?

anything under like. 3k feels too short for me. i have a lot of respect for people who can write really short things and have them be like. cohesive and solid and clear but i feel like my writing has to surpass 2 or 3k words before it feels like. solid enough to post!! after that, it depends on what the story demands; i said in a previous ask that i don't outline generally and that carries over to wrod counts, too, i don't really know how long a fic is going to be until i feel myself getting into an organic endgame of the narrative-- when i start something, i have no idea whether its gonna be like 5k or 25k or longer lmao (famously i thought noble pining was gonna be a short regular fic when i started it. 3 years and 100k words ago. so. what do i know?)

47. Is there a trope that you’ve written before but are now sick of?

not really?? i tend not to read a lot of soulmate aus anymore bc i find them. a little overdone and not super interesting to me personally anymore?? but like ive only written one soulmate au a long time ago and i started writing that as a way to explore a soulmate au world build that did interest me!

68. Are there any fics that influenced you to write the way you do?

uhhhhh so many fics and at the same time? none? idk i read fic. so much. like every night to go to bed bc im #normal, and while there have absolutely been fics that have been wonderful and lifechanging and mind bending i dont know if there are any that have directly impacted my writing? sometimes reading a fic will give me a tangential idea for a scene or a fic or a beat that i might then go on to write, but my style tends to me more impacted by the people i am lucky enough to write alongside and hearing about their thoughts and processes and getting their insights and feedback !!! specifically in the last while jamie @jlinns and luka @creacherkeeper have been super inspirational and really helped me to continue shaping my perspective on my writing <3

Okay..... So, I felt like I had to address these asks from the other day since I had so many in my inbox talking about this subject, which was in response to my post here:

Wooooosaaahhhhh.... (I'll try to make this as short and to the point as I can)

First off.... I'll just be honest and say that I am not the "Blog Police" lol. 😂 Imo, people can choose to post or discuss whatever the hayell they want on their own personal blogs. If you don't like it, then you don't have to follow. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Antis can even make up their own little blogs and post whatever nonsense they want on there. 🙄 I honestly don't care. 🤷🏾‍♀️ Just don't come over here to blogs who obviously love and ship Tomdaya, spreading your nonsensical, ridiculous claims and anti-isms, coz you're basically wasting your precious time.

With all of that said however...... I'll add that YOU are in control of what you see and open up your mind to. If you feel that some "fan blogs" are not your cup of tea, or are even "toxic", then just disengage! 🤷🏾‍♀️

Life is too short to be continuing to get constant negativity infiltrating your mind... especially if you're not happy getting that type of information. 😔

So, do yourself a favor, and just either log off of this place for a while, log off of Twitter, and just focus on TZ (or whoever your faves are) privately for a little bit. 👀

Some ppl just thrive on drama and spreading negativity (even as so-called "fans" 🥴), but if you don't like that, you don't have to engage with that.

If you prefer more light-hearted, fun engagement, then just stick to the blogs, Twitter/Instagram accounts, or outlets that provide that, and enjoy those. 😊

I don't even see half of the negativity that some anons come into my inbox claiming, because either I have no clue that some of these blogs even exist lol, and, because I just choose not to follow anything that doesn't feel positive or uplifting. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I definitely made a conscious decision about this back in 2020 when the pandemic hit, and life was so depressing. 😓 I made a conscious effort not to fill my mind with certain things..... especially stuff that harmed my spirit, or made me feel bad/put me in a bad mood all the time. 😔

Doing this was a HUGE relief tbh!

So, just PROTECT your spirit.... Protect your mental and emotional health. 🥰❤

YOU control what you take in.
