author's note: this is such a cute request, I really loved writing it! I actually wrote Gaara finding out his s/o is pregnant, where I kind of covered how he will be during the pregnancy, so I decided to cover only Neji, Kiba and Shino for this one. Hope you enjoy! <3

➤ Neji

Given this is Neji we are talking about, I assume his s/o's pregnancy was more or less planned.

He and his partner have been trying to conceive for a while, since they've been married for a year already and the elders of his clan were already pestering them about children.

So when his s/o told him they are pregnant, he felt both rush of excitement and relief.

Probably one of the calmest and most composed men when it comes to his partner's pregnancy.

I imagine he has been preparing for this moment for a while by reading various books, consulting with some of the older women of his clan, as well doing his own research during his free time.

Definitely more ready and knowledgeable than his s/o about it.

I have always been of the opinion that Neji is very traditional guy, who dreams of having a family of his own.

As such, he is overprotective from Day 1.

He will accompany his s/o everywhere, help them with chores and would try to stop them from doing any missions straight away, worried that the risk of losing either of them is way too big. (I say try, because he will probably be unsuccessful till the last few months)

Has a tendency to be a bit paranoid and scold his s/o if he ever see them doing even something by themselves.

I feel his s/o would find all his efforts and worries somewhat adorable in the beginning, but as their pregnancy progress and their hormones start going crazy, they will start losing their patience with him.

I imagine the second half of the pregnancy may be a bit stressful for both of you (and everyone around you tbh!), since his s/o won't hold back their complaints about Neji's behaviour and in turn he will be annoyed about why is his s/o angry, when all he tries to do is to take care of them.

Treats his partner like an absolute ROYALTY tho

His s/o want a silk pillowcase, because otherwise they can't fall asleep? He will go around the whole Hyuga compound to find them one.

His s/o is craving his famous vanilla ice cream in the middle of the night? He is spending the hours preparing it from scratch for them.

Overall, his s/o's pregnancy would go quite easy, as he is very attentive and already knows quite a bit about what to expect and how to handle his s/o's mood swings.

➤ Kiba

Where do I even start with this one?

Initially, when his s/o told him they were pregnant, he was absolutely perplexed.

He knew they were not always super strict with the protection, but so far they have always been safe from incidents.

Like, he is not against becoming a dad - quite the opposite, he would love to have a house FULL with little Inuzuka babies, BUT he just was not sure he was ready at that point.

He is not really sure how to prepare tho?

Unlike Neji, he is not in the mood to go around and spend days reading boring books about childbirth and pregnancies, neither he felt comfortable talking with his family about it.

I imagine he is the type of guy that just grab his s/o's hand and give them a reassuring smile, saying: "It's okay, we are going to figure it out together!"

And they do. The beginning is a bit messy, both him and his s/o don't really know what to expect and if they should expect anything at all at this early stage.

I don't think he is going to treat his partner any differently, because for the first few months they look pretty much the same as before, so in his mind they should be perfectly capable to continue going on missions, do chores etc.

His s/o's period of throwing up almost every night and feeling sick every time they take a bite of food COMPLETELY throws him off and he is phoning Sakura almost every day, asking her to come to his house and check his s/o

When his partner gets their mood swings, their house becomes almost like a battlefield - poor man doesn't really know why his s/o is behaving that way and would constantly be baffled by his s/o's behaviour

"Why are you screaming at me? Don't you dare throwing that pillow-Ow! Dammit!"

I imagine that he will have to seek his mother's and sister's help in the later stage of the pregnancy, it is just TOO MUCH to handle

That doesn't stop him from wanting to have another kid pretty soon after his s/o gives birth to their first one - now that he has seen how they glow when they are pregnant, he plans to keep them like that quite often

➤ Shino

Our favourite boy Shino... his s/o is honestly lucky to have him during their pregnancy.

When they first told him they were pregnant, he didn't show much of an emotion, other than letting his lips curve in a small smile, before resting a gentle kiss against his s/o's temple.

He was definitely happy about the news, but as I always imagined him as a quite laid back individual, his reaction is actually pretty calm and relaxed compared to many other Naruto men.

In the beginning, his behaviour doesn't change much - he tries not to intervene too much with his s/o's freedom and let them do whatever they want.

If they want to continue doing missions - that's fine by him, even tho he may ask the Hokage to send him with them if possible.

If they want to stay at home - he doesn't mind taking a complete care of his them, if this is how they are going to feel comfortable.

He is very attentive and always listen to his s/o's wishes and needs.

For this reason I actually think his partner is going to have pretty easy pregnancy - they would feel relaxed and comfortable in Shino's care, adopting his view that parenthood would just come naturally to them.

I don't even think they would have any pregnancy symptoms, even at the late stage - their behaviour and relationship with Shino remains pretty much the same. (I mean, even when hormonal, you can't really be angry at this softie, can you?)

Also, I imagine he may propose during his s/o pregnancy? He had always knew he wanted to officially make them their partner, so this felt like the perfect time to tie the knot tbh.

Naruto Characters Accidentally Calling their Girlfriend their Wife

MR KRABSSSS I HAVE AN IDEAAA

Fem reader (or if you want to be called wife)

Characters: Naruto, Sasuke, Shino, Kiba, Shikamaru, Choji, Neji, Rock Lee, Kankuro, and Gaara.

(Masterlist is up now) also I’ll be adding Sai to this in the morning

Naruto Uzumaki

He’s talking to some new people and enthusiastically pulls you to his side, a large smile on his face, and he says “This is my wife! Y/N!”

You can’t hide your shock, not fully at least. He’s never called you his wife before. I mean, he’s said things like “you’ll be my future wife, right?” As he giggles or something.

But you are in a state of shock that he introduced you that way.

Nonetheless, you’re happy.

If the person makes a comment about how young or cute you two are for a married couple, he’d realize. Likely, he’d respond a little oddly, stuttering, but recovers and just full sends with the claim you’re his wife.

Sasuke Uchiha

If he’s with you, you’re gonna be his wife anyways. He didn’t get with you until he was sure of that, because it took him a long time to realize he felt that way anyways.

So he calls you his wife with full confidence, before realizing his mistake. However, he doesn’t care too much to correct himself or anything.

Because you are gonna marry him right? (He’s actually really nervous to propose, but he won’t admit that.)

People would probably just believe him immediately considering just how serious he is about you to even be with you.

When you confront him about it later, he’ll ask you if that was okay, explain it was a mistake, but he’ll probably comment on how he’s dating to marry anyways so… you might as well be his wife.

You can probably expect a proposal soon.

Shino Aburame

I can’t fully see this happening tbh. However, let’s say that it does.

He’d probably over explain himself to the person he referred of you as his wife too.

Not that he doesn’t want you as his wife, but you haven’t said you’ll be his wife yet. So he can’t call you his wife. That’s how he sees it.

He’ll probably think he messed up and upset you, so you’ll have to explain it was cute.

Once you explain to him, he’ll see your point. Maybe with some reluctance to lighten up on himself.

He’ll be happy you want to be seen as his wife though.

Kiba Inuzuka

Realized his mistake, but he could not be bothered.

He will keep on as if there is no mistake. As if you are legally married.

He’ll be upset if you correct him in front of people.

It’ll turn into a bit of an argument if you correct him in any way other than sweetly.

Because what the big deal???

If you leave it alone, and talk to him later, now he’s nervous and stuttering. But he’ll likely comment on how he knows you want to marry him so you might as well be called his wife.

Shikamaru Nara

Immediately realizing what slipped out his mouth.

Does he really want you to be his wife? Well, of course he does. But that’s a lot for him to accidentally spill out to some strangers you’re both meeting.

They don’t know he made a mistake, because you roll with it.

Later, he’ll try to avoid talking about it, but if you bring it up, he’ll say it was a mistake, don’t take it so seriously.

If you seem down about his underwhelming response, he’ll likely have an actual talk about his future with you to reassure you that he was just being an idiot when he said that.

Choji Akimichi

He forgot you’re not his wife.

I think Choji would just love you so much that he would simply treat you like a wife. To the point he forgets, you’re not his wife.

If you comment on it, he’ll think about it and probably be like ohhhh right.

He’ll apologize, but more than likely you’ll just say it was cute.

I can see him calling you wifey.

But if he’s gonna call you that, he’s gotta get you that ring. He’s planning on it as yall speak.

Neji Hyuga

You two are waiting a while before calling it official. Plans of marriage are far off.

He’s a little too traditional to jump at marriage quickly.

So when he accidentally calls you his wife, it was to Hiashi. He went pale. Paler than usual.

Later, depending on how exactly that went, he’ll probably be in his head.

Let’s assume for this though, that Hiashi approves of you completely.

Hiashi made a comment, rather he meant it badly or not, Neji will take it the wrong way. Realize he jumped too far.

You’ll have to tell him you find it cute, and rather his uncle approves of you two or not, you’ll be his wife someday :)

Rock Lee

It COULD be an honest mistake.

But let’s be honest,

It’s Lee.

He calls you his wife to your face, to other people, hell, he’d shout it from the roof tops.

So it’s not an accident. He meant it. He will one day make you his wife, so why would he not call you his wife now!

If you have any reserves about being called his wife before actual marriage, he will pout and be upset. He won’t understand.

But, once that’s over, he’s crying and begging for forgiveness.

Please tell him it’s cute that he wants to marry you, even if you do want to have a talk with him about not assuming roles you don’t officially have.

Gaara

HE CALLED YOU HIS WIFE IN FRONT OF A CROWD. so now he’s blushing.

He might correct his mistake, might not. Depends.

He’s a confident speaker, but that threw him off a little bit.

Likely you were a strong shinobi or something and he was trying to give you credit where it’s due, but it didn’t go as planned.

When you too are alone later, you’ll bring it up likely.

If you tell him you thought it was cute or sweet, he’ll turn bright red like his hair.

He likely won’t go on calling you his wife or anything. Maybe in private.

But he’s not ashamed of it. After all, he’s strongly considering marriage.

Kankuro

Called you his wife to his siblings while you were over for dinner.

Temari is not letting him live it down.

“Hey, I think your wife is trying to get your attention.” “I don’t know, maybe ask your wife?” “What about your wife?” From then on out.

He’s frustrated because it was a mistake, BUTTTT honestly, eventually he’ll make some snarky comment about how at least he’s closer to marriage than she is. Then he probably harps on Shikamaru a little bit in defense for his own comment.

(He approves of Shikamaru tho, if he’s being real. He just thinks it’s a little funny)

As long as this is before a certain point.

He decides to call you his wife to your face.

He’ll call you that to tease you now.

NARUTO OMEGAVERSE ☆

୨୧ alpha! naruto au x omega! reader (f)

— what they would give you as a courting gift (pairing : naruto, shikamaru, sasuke, itachi, rock lee, neji)

ALPHA! NARUTO

naruto is a joyous and energetic person, his gift are as vibrant as him. in order to court you, he would definitely take you out on some dates. ichiraku ramen sounds like the perfect place to begin his courting! it's a place which holds countless of precious memories for him and he wants you to get to know him better. he's someone who speaks his mind, so I think he'll really talk openly about his desires and interests in you, it's one of the rare times he's being serious and it's truly a sight to see.

onto a more materialistic approach, naruto will 100% gifts you plushies. he thinks it's an adorable way to connect the both of you. extra points if the plushie is the effigy of kurama! he will sometimes scent it, sometimes not. it all depends on how you react to them, he'll pay attention to your reactions and decides if that was the right move.

I also think naruto will choose a more natural and spontaneous courting, surprising you with cute and funny outings. helping you escape at night so you can both see the stars together. he'll throw cute notes at you to cheer you up during class...

overall, naruto just wishes to spend more time with you, make you laugh and smile. he really considers your happy face as a reward, it literally makes his day. he wants the both of you to know each other and grow closer.

ALPHA! SASUKE

now sasuke is definitely more reserved in his approach and less explicit about his feelings for you. nonetheless, he won't stay on the sidelines and let other alphas steal you from him. I don't think he'll give you gifts at the very beginning, he's prudent and will first and foremost test the waters by subtly scenting you at times and assess your reaction. if he considers it a green light, he'll start acting more assertive. probably a few stargazing sessions to begin with and when you start to get closer, he'll be more possessive about his courting.

I think he would give an item related to his clan. it could be a luxurious silk robe with the uchiha crest at its back. he would love to see you wear it, in his mind, it serves as a symbol of unity and pride, having his omega wear that would reinforce the seriousness of your relationship along with solidifying his potential claim on you.

in the same spirit, later into the courting, sasuke would gift you a uchiha clan heirloom. that way, he puts you under his protection and his claim on you is now strong and clear, serving as a warning to all alphas that you're his. its strengthens your bond as it's a deep acknowledgment of the importance your hold in his life.

and in fact, sasuke's gift serves as a proof of his commitment to you and your relationship and it feels reassuring to know that he considers you as a member of his clan.

ALPHA! SHIKAMARU

as expected of shikamaru, he has a pretty good understanding of omegas' nature and will therefore, make pretty good gifts. he has a pretty laidback behaviour, this is why I think he wouldn't want to make courting seems too ceremonial and will adopt a more casual approach. oh you're cold ? here's his jacket, scented. you don't even have to ask, shikamaru is just great at making things seem so normal. you mentioned you liked soft items ? here's a cute blanket he bought today, no it's not really a gift, just a thanks for spending the day with him. and it's just that. of course if you're careful you'll catch him blushing if he sees you snuggling his scarf, it's redolent with his pheromones and he's pleased to see you look so safe.

other than that, it's mainly lazy indoor dates. just you taking a few naps, progressively getting closer to each other until you eventually fall asleep on his chest.

overall, shikamaru likes to do things according to your tastes and doesn't want his courting to seem unnatural and bizarre. he tries his best to be his usual self while also trying not to get too shy, surprisingly.

ALPHA! ROCK LEE

lee is a great alpha, always cheering you on. he's very open about his love for you and he just needs you to give in. of course he knows you're more reserved and needs more time to get to know him before you can make a decision. that's why he's so patient and devoted to you during the courting process. flowers, cheesy love notes, wood sculptures with your initials... with lee it's never ending and you're always surprised with what he was able to come up with.

he will give you gifts, but he'll also often take you out on dates for fun adventures, at least that's what he calls them. genuinely thinks rock climbing & hiking are the best ideas. if he discovers you're not sporty at all, don't worry! lee is more than happy to carry you around, take your hands to help you walk through a particularly tricky path and asks you if you need a break every five minutes. he takes it as his chance to prove to you how alpha, how reliable he is. how much his unwavering determination and passion are yours only.

probably will try cooking snacks, like cookies or brownies but I don't think he's that much of a cook so it'll end up messy. you'll have to console him about this fail attempt and reassure him that you can be the one cooking for him instead!

ALPHA! NEJI

neji is a great observer, he has your tastes and hobbies all figured out and he knows how to choose the perfect gifts. he is very gentle with the omega he is trying to court and his gifts are as thoughtful as you can imagine. small accessories! after assessing what you like, he'll settle on a small hairpin with soft colours, which compliment your eyes. jewelry as well! a subtle bracelet, a ring or anything, just to remind you that he thinks about you all the time. it's a way to show people that you too are connected and that neji is already pursuing you, the others can back off.

he knows you're sensitive to smells, so probably a few candles with sweet fragrant and cute designs. perfumes? (or insence burner) as long as he likes the smell, he's buying. he loves to know you're wearing the scent he has chosen for you, it's like a pre-mark. it's not his scent yet but it's only a matter of time.

however, neiji will not force things, you'll wear his pheromones yes, but only when you feel ready and you have completely accepted him.

a delicately sewed kimono, or an item you'll be able to wear more easily, like a scarf, gloves... but! his favourite courting gift and the gift which really sealed your relationship is the cute pendant around your neck, carrying a piece of his cloth so that you always smell like him. it's subtle, but enough for the time being, he'll have plenty more time later to scent you profusely!

ALPHA! ITACHI

to. provide.

this man's main goal is to provide for you and to show you he can do it. he's reliable and he's desperate to have a chance with you. please notice him.

while getting to know him, you'll get plenty of nest items, scented of course. a lot of blankets, a few pillows and some of his clothes, he'll give it all to you. he'll even help you build your nest if you let him, he's not so sure about what he's doing but he's attentive and learns fast so you can count on him!

he'll get you food as well. you'll never be hungry with itachi. when you meet up, if he didn't already brought snacks with him, you can be sure he'll buy some later just for you. you paying isn't even a option.

just like his brother, he'll give you clothes you can wear on a daily basis with the uchiha clan crest on them. all that to assure your protection and to claim you, nobody wants to meet a jealous uchiha anyways.

he's a bit quiet at times so he'll use notes to share his feelings. it's always really touching and delicate, you know he means it.

“We shouldn’t be doing this” ist exactly what came to his mind when he started undressing before you. After all, all his life he learned restraint, to stay clear-headed, and that went hand in hand with not having consummated the marriage until he was married. Yet how could he have held back and followed any of those principles instilled in him when you looked so... divine ?

Indeed, you and your friends were supposed to all gather to celebrate the success of a very difficult mission you'd completed. Everyone was going to be dressed to the nines, ready to dance and enjoy the party. You and Neji had decided to go together.

In fact, you'd been together for at least 4 years, and even though you'd been tempted to get engaged several times, you'd always followed Hyuga family customs. This meant waiting much longer before making the relationship official, and of course even longer before actually doing the do. Without lying, at times, it was pretty hard to stick to it. He himself had made an effort and put on a suit, but this was really not easy for him.

And he really thought he could manage to get his way out of this. One minute he was looking at you as you smiled gently at him, and the next he blinked, his lips were pressed against yours in that familiar way - yes, when you can't make love, you've all put on make-out sessions - as he gently pulled you back into your apartment. His hands, as if controlled by some wild force, grabbed your breasts. Feeling their softness and weight, he gently exhaled into your mouth, and that's when he realized that it was pointless to resist. That was it.

His foot closed the door behind you as he slammed you against the wall. With a degree of precision contrary to the envy that consumed him. In your passion, you began to remove his suit jacket before your hands went to his long silky hair. Your debacle continued until you reached your sofa. "We shouldn't be doing this" he said, revealing himself entirely to you. There was a certain paradox between his words and the hurried way in which he undressed, as if someone was about to come and stop you, as if he didn't want his conscience to get the better of him.

"Neji" you said as you took his face in your hands "You're the clan, you and the new generation. These rules are backdated and no one will ever find out what happened in my apartment" you tried to reassure him.

But Neji shook his head "It's not that" his fingers danced on your arm "It's just that once I've had a taste of it, I'm afraid I can't wait to make it official. I want to be part of your life, I want you to come and live with me" he felt very vulnerable as he spoke of this, but a twitch from his member reminded him of what a rush you were in "I need you too but it won't just be for once. All this is over from now on, I'm going to keep you close to me. Shame on those who will oppose it, blind to the beauty of our passion"

And with that as if he'd just said a prayer he sank gently into your tight warmth - a little difficult. Your inexperience wouldn't change the fact that you loved each other more than anything. Sure, you were going to miss the party organized by your friends, but this time will have enabled you to take an important step in your relationship. Suddenly, moving in together, getting engaged and getting married seemed much more attainable than before. And maybe even a baby... you should have just thought about using a condom though. In his defense, it was you who asked him to finish inside you, he just followed your advice.

ITACHI UCHIHA

When he finally manages to get glasses he is notorious for forgetting to wear them at first.

He had grown so accustomed to not wearing them and squinting at everthing he forgets he doesn't need to anymore lol.

Is that person who drinks water over other beverages.

Enjoys reading for long periods of time. Like could just spend the whole day reading away. Is the type to read books in one sitting, taking breaks to make tea and snack only.

Enjoys having company while reading though.

A nice cuddle. A thigh touching or even just one of you splayed over the other. The warmth and touch is nice.

Secretly likes being fussed over by a s/o since he spends a lot of time fussing over his loved ones.

NEJI HYUGA

Gets a bit stressed when things aren't done a certain way but he's grown up in an evironment where he's learnt he needs to internalise everything.

Voicing his opinions even when they come across kind of harsh actually mean Neji is comfortable enough to voice his concerns with you.

Even if it is 'How can you just leave all of your dirty laundry on the floor?' completely exasperated. He's not trying to judge you or be rude he's just- he can't leave it like this.

He can't have things out of place, they have to go where they belong which is the laundry basket.

His ears a sensitive. Not necessarily in a sexual way (it can be though) even brushing a finger against them and he flinches and shivers.

If you whisper into his ear or kiss it and you two are intimate and you're getting a shiver and blush from him immediately. Maybe a gasp too.

SASUKE UCHIHA

Naturally runs cold—I'm talking his hands, his feet, all naturally are colder to the touch.

This only changes when he actively infuses chakra and perfroms jutsu which warms him some. It's very interesting notice when you touch his hands those different times.

It's likely you run warmer (even if you run cold too. He's real cold).

He seeks out physical touch. Boys touch starved. But won't ask for it. Doesn't know how to unless there's been years of patience, teaching and allowing him to go at his own pace.

Likes to sit up high in trees on the branches. One rare occassions he'll let his legs dangle over the edge because it reminds him of being a kid again. Won't tell anyone that though.

Tried using styling products in his hair once (ones with a wax consistancy) but he hated how it felt in his hands. His face cringed so hard that by the time he smeared it through his hair and tried to do something with it he had given up completely. BIG POUTY FACE IN THE MIRROR.

Secretly likes having his cheeks squished and kissed by you if you're intimate but in private, not in public.

A/N: Gonna be completely transparent and say that my favorites are Naruto, Kiba, Shikamaru and Neji. Yes, I do love the others as well but we all have our favorites.

Naruto kisses you very quick at first. He sneaks up on you and kisses your cheek from behind, his signature grin plastered on his face as he watches you try to hide your small smile. He gets very passionate about them the more your relationship and likes to use his clones to kiss multiple spots he knows make you squirm at once.

Sasuke will kiss you on rare occasion. He doesn't really know how to be affectionate properly so when he does kiss you it's very hard and full of pent up emotion. He loves to hug you against his body when he kisses you because he does crave contact with you, especially after he's been away on a mission. When ever he leaves on a mission he always kisses you on the forehead promising to be back soon.

Kiba is very eager to give you as many kisses as he can. It's like he can't get enough of you. He's always happy to wake you up with kisses, and an occasional lick, on your bare neck. Very fond of kissing you on the nose and behind your ear. Loves kissing the back of your neck when he's the big spoon and making you shiver in his arms.

Shikamaru kisses you very, very slowly, not due to being sleepy though, he wants to savor the kiss. He kisses you on your forehead in the morning as a wake up call as he runs his hands over your back. He'd love to spend the whole day in bed doing that over and over. Sometimes he does, but he makes sure to have no missions for that day.

Choji can't get enough of kissing you. Whenever he passes you by in the house he leans over and kisses your cheek. Sometimes he likes to pull you down while he has his head in your lap and smile up at you, giving you quick kisses on your lips. He always laughs a little when you kiss his cheek marks.

Rock Lee kisses you like he's trying to win a competition. A competition of how many times you can kiss each other in a single day. Also likes to give you hickies and knowing you will leave at least one partially uncovered for him, and others, to see through the day. He will kiss that same spot later to make it heal faster.

Neji only kisses you in private, at least on the lips. In public he likes to kiss you on the wrist and watch you get flustered even though you'd been in a relationship with him for a while. When you're in bed together he likes to kiss you down your back, listening for your little sighs and moans.

Shino is also very reserved in public. But when you're at home he likes to cuddle with you quite a bit actually and cup your face in his hands, bringing you in for a small kiss. Another favorite way of kissing you is to hug you from behind and tilt your head towards his, whispering against your lips that he loves you before affirming it with his mouth and tongue.

I feel that people in recent times have ruined an entire generation. There are literally sick people who are writing as if they were sick with the topic of incest and all its derivatives, as if it were a damn new game that came out on the market.

If I'm honest, I'm afraid that these people have a little brother or sister because of the content they consume. Because if these people have siblings, imagine if they rape their younger sister or brother or abuse them. Let me ask you something, and I want you to be honest with me: if that is their fetish, do you think they wouldn't do it if they didn't have the opportunity? Do you really think that readers and writers only read and write for pleasure or because they know they can't take advantage of someone because they know there are consequences for their actions, and they decide to bring out all those types of fantasies in "fictional characters"?

As the younger sister of two brothers, it doesn't fit into my head to read something like that, because I know what it's like to have siblings, take care of them, and love them. I can't put myself in those people's shoes because I don't understand them; I don't understand their sick fetishes or how they enjoy them.

I just wanted to get everything off my chest because I couldn't take it anymore with everything that's going around on Tumblr. It feels like you're on a page full of pedophiles and incestuous people. Seriously, it's disgusting. And even though you haven't read any of that content, it's disgusting, and no, you can't forget it because you know it's going around on the internet- and you saw it, you know it's there, and you can't do anything about it or even forget it.

You may think I'm exaggerating but in the part of the world where I live there are homicides and abuses against women. You literally see every day on the damn news how a woman or girl was abused or disappeared... Do you know what I saw the other day? a case in which a three-year-old girl was abused by her older brother and cousin.

and then you start thinking about the sick people who genuinely enjoy that damn content. maybe if those people lived the same fear that I and the other women in my country suffer when we go out on the street or meet strangers, they would come to their senses.

Naruto Worldbuilding Headcanon!

Sort of.

Buffing the Byakugan!

The Byakugan was written as an antithesis to the Sharingan but got mostly forgotten. I’m here to change that.

Well all know that with the Byakugan you can see the chakra points and have x-ray vision + almost 360 degree vision. Additional powers include:

Microscopic vision: Byakugan users can look at blood samples and whole bodies up to a cellular level. Their eyes are basically a substitute for a microscope, x-ray scans, ct-scans and mris. That part where Sasuke could see Deidara‘s cellular bombs with his Sharingan? We’re scrapping that. Only Byakugan users can do that.

Immunity to most visual genjutsus. Byakugan users can see when someone is using or under genjutsu and have a natural immunity against most Sharingan genjutsus, with only things like Tsukuyomi or other powerful Mangekyou genjutsus posing as an actual threat.

Splitting anything chakra made in half. We’ve seen my man Mukai Kohinata doing this to Itachi’s fire ball jutsu and in Neji’s fight against Kidomaru. Using their gentle fist, anything that is made of chakra can be split in half or atleast damaged. This includes Susanoos. Also, Byakugan users can disable the necessary chakra points of an Uchiha to activate the susanoo.

Detecting shifts in mood. There are changes in your chakra when your mood changes, it’s canon. Byakugan users can see when someone is angry, scared, happy, horny, you name it. They can also tell when someone is lying. If someone is trying to suppress their chakra, they can see it too.

Releasing chakra from all their tenketsu. Neji has done it in the fight against kidomaru. Basically it means they can release normal or elemental chakra out of their chakra points, which makes taijutsu pretty useless against them. Ex. when a Byakugan user releases fire chakra while someone is trying to punch them, they’d burn their hands. Medic nin who have a Byakugan can use this tactic to release healing chakra on their whole body, allowing them to heal themselves without using hand signs or the palm technique, if their chakra control allows it. A Byakugan user can also release tiny portions of chakra on their elbows or legs to make their punches stronger or highten their jumps.

There’s no next level Byakugan like the Mangekyou is for the Sharingan, however Byakugan users suffer no permanent damage from overusing their Byakugan. They temporarily have bad eyesight or even blindness, but it passes.

Sasuke Uchiha

Depends…

He might step out of the way if he’s not in a good mood or didn’t even process what you were doing.

If he likes you, he’ll likely catch you. Then complain.

Doesn’t trust anybody for a trust fall, but he’ll catch you if you do a trust fall.

Sakura Haruno

Catches you with full intention to do so.

She’ll hold you for a second cuz she’s strong and you don’t bother her.

When she does put you do, she asks what you did that for.

She’ll trust you for a trust fall. She doesn’t trust just anybody, so that’s a compliment.

And of course, she’ll catch you.

Sai

Catches you.

Tells you he read about something like this.

Tells you what it means.

If that’s not what you mean, or if it’s outlandish, you choose rather you slap him or explain to him how that’s not okay. Then probably slap him for his response (I don’t agree with slapping ppl, but canon typical violence guys)

He’ll catch you if you do a trust fall. Thinks it’s good for bonding so he’ll fall too!

Shikamaru Nara

Catches you, but is shocked and like “what??”

Puts you down like immediately.

Somewhere in there, he said “what a drag.”

He’s not doing a trust fall, he doesn’t care.

But if you screamed, “trust fall” and just fell back, he’ll catch you.

Choji Akimichi

Catches you without question. He didn’t fully realize what was going on, but he would do it over and purposely catch you too.

He will carry you around if you want afterwards.

Always catches you in a trust fall.

He trusts you and Shikamaru to catch him in a trust fall, but Shikamaru always loudly complains about it so more so you.

Ino Yamanaka

She catches you, but probably scolds you for just jumping on her.

Like give her some warning??

Especially if she had anything in her hands.

She can’t bring herself to fall back in a trust fall, even if she trusts the person. She’ll shout about not wanting to do it, but eventually she’ll do it to prove herself.

She always catches you, but some people will get dropped if they try.

Kiba Inuzuka

He probably does the same thing to you.

Like “CATCH ME” and a man that is way too big and buff is flying through the air, right at you.

So yeah he’d always catch you, but it comes with a cocky comment about how much you wanna be in his arms. Beware.

Randomly springs trust falls on everybody and gets pissed if they let him fall.

He will catch you.

Shino Aburame

He’ll catch you… but he’s so confused.

Don’t do that again…

He’s a little scared?

Might think something is wrong, but he kinda finds it cute when he finds out there is no real reason for it. Like you jumped in HIS arms? 🥹

He’s not up for the trust fall shit, but he’ll catch you if you do it anyways.

Hinata Hyuga

Catches you, but she is nervous and startled.

She probably says something heroic sounding like “I will never drop you.”

She’s sad when you get down out of her arms.

She’ll trust you in a trust fall and catch you too.

Neji Hyuga

Probably steps back and then gets just a little upset that he didn’t catch you, especially if you get hurt.

That or you knock you both down to the ground.

He’ll tell you that you shouldn’t have done that, but he’s sorry.

Same goes for trust falls.

He’s not doing them though, not unless you annoy him half to death to do it.

Rock Lee

He catches you enthusiastically, probably hugs you tightly too.

Catches you and wraps her arms around you as she processes what you did.

She’s startled and maybe even a little alert, but when she pieces it together and realizes it’s you, she slowly puts you down.

She’s willing to do trust falls. She’ll catch you if you catch her. But if you prank her, she will give you that energy back.

Gaara of the Sand

He got startled and the sand blocked you…

He apologizes and probably lightly warns or scolds you about not jumping at him suddenly.

Tells you that you can try again.

He won’t do trust falls, but he’ll catch you with his sand if you do one.

Kankuro of the Sand

He let you fall.

Thought it’d be funny at first, but he’d feel like a total dickhead if you get hurt.

He won’t apologize though, but it’ll be obvious he regrets his decision.

Probably still tells you not to do sudden things like that, or more so, stop putting yourself in danger.

He’s not doing trust falls. If it’s the first time you attempt to jump or fall, again, he’s letting you fall.

Temari of the Sand

She’ll catch you, but immediately puts you down.

Tells you not to jump so suddenly.

Won’t do trust falls, even if she trusts you. Thinks it’s stupid and definitely not happening.

She’ll catch you though, then scold you for doing it.

Unacceptably and Idiotically Reckless (Neji x Reader)

Synopsis: After a reckless— albeit cool— stunt on your latest mission, Neji has finally come to scold you.

He was the last person you expected to visit, not for lack of care, but more because you didn’t think he’d find out this quickly. But, well, judging by the expression on his face, perhaps lack of care shouldn’t have been ruled out so soon. Neji scowled in the doorway of your hospital room, his travel bag slung over his shoulder.

“You have got to be kidding me.” He scowled. You beamed, offering him a thumbs-up and a wave from your hospital bed. Considering the bandages that littered your body, your cheery demeanor did nothing to quell the vexation that visibly seeped from Neji. “So what everybody has been saying is true. Look at you; your chakra network is absolutely wrecked.”

“Did you say everybody?”

He stepped fully into the room, eyeing your injuries from the side of your bed. His jaw clenched as he tore his gaze away, pinching the bridge of his nose with a roll of his eyes and a groan. When Neji turned back to you, his tongue was already poised to scold you. You watched as he pursed his lips, his hand hovering in the air to accent the choice words he was already saying in his head.

“How could you possibly think—” Neji’s hands waved curtly in front of him. —“That stunt was going to end well for you?”

“Neji—” You moved to answer him, but you were swiftly cut off.

“No, actually, I don’t want to hear a word from you.” Neji sat on a chair beside your bed, tugging his bag across his shoulder to pull it open. “The Hyūga have the best doctors in the village. I will ensure that your primary provider is switched to a trusted physician.” He set a few vials of different medicines on your bedside table before diving back into his bag.

“Neji—”

“And this tea. I want you to drink this at least twice a day. It is a special blend of healing herbs, and it’s measured out to be a week’s worth, so I better not see this bag full.” He held it to your face before bopping your forehead with the sachet. You laughed, moving to sit up against your pillows.

“Neji, really—” You took his hand in yours, resting it against the blankets on your lap. A vein twitched just above his brow as he opened his mouth to speak. You held a finger up, shushing him with another light laugh. “Thank you for bringing me all these things. I know you must have been worried.” Neji scoffed.

“Me, worried? Please.” The tension in his shoulder dropped as he leaned into your touch. He stared out the far window of your room. You gently squeezed his hand and felt him squeeze yours in return. “Taking a swan dive out there in the forest? I could see how that unacceptable, idiotic, recklessness could make someone else worried.”

You almost laughed again, leaning back onto your mound of pillows to rest your head. You finally got to meet his eye, and with another squeeze of his hand, you offered him a knowing smile and a nod. Neji visibly softened before sighing.

“Will you let me show you the rest of the things I brought now?”

You released him, and Neji dove back into his bag. Neither of you acknowledged the sentiment so clearly attached to it all, especially not the bouquet of flowers he arranged neatly in a vase next to your bed.

hey my love! i know that your most likely asleep right now, it’s still early. i had to leave for work, but i almost made myself late by staring at your gorgeous face. I just couldn’t pull myself out of bed, you looked so warm, cozy, and inviting that i just couldn’t help but stay. eventually i ended up getting out, but not before making sure you were okay, and i always need to give you a kiss before i go. i also made breakfast so when you do get up, there will be some pancakes out for you. you might have to heat them up though. i have to go now, or im gonna get yelled at. i love you so so much. bye baby, i’ll be home soon. -end of voice message.
