This summer had been quiet, with Professor Trein basically threatening Crowley to let you stay with him. But it was nice. You had a nice room with overstuffed pillows and old quilts. And an actually nice bed that didn’t have any springs poking out of it. After the chaos that had been the school-year, it was nice having a stable home environment. Also Trein gave you the freedom you needed, and didn’t hover, but was there when you needed him.
“Another letter arrived for you,” the older man said while waiting for his morning cup of tea to cool down. “From Felmier.”
Epel couldn’t come to visit as often as the others, as he was busy at the farm and doing promotional work to help bring Felmier Farms into the public’s eye. But he sent a letter every week, each with an apple stamp.
You opened the letter, curbing your excitement. There was rarely anything super exciting in them, but it was still nice to read what Epel got into.
Meemaw says I should be able to visit next week! So be prepared for a lot of stuff; could ‘have sworn you’re her grandkid an’ not me. Hope you like kitschy apple-themed clothes.
Epel is coming. Epel is coming! You hadn’t seen him in over a month, and the last time you did he was working the family stand at the farmer’s market. You couldn’t really catch up then, but now, now you could. You could finally catch up with your best friend. “Is it okay if Epel comes over?”
Trein looked up from the book he was reading and gave you a curt nod before going back to his book and morning cup of tea
Places to go with Epel;
You had started to make a list, but nothing was really coming to you. You didn’t know many other places save for Night Raven College, and the small village where Trein, and now you, resided. Sighing, you spun in your chair, thinking. Epel was arriving tomorrow and you had jack-all planned. And sure, just catching up and hanging inside the home or out in the yard was nice and all, but you wanted to do something. “Come on brain, be smart,” you sighed, plopping down on the bed and groaning. Maybe some sleep would hel- “Epel?”
And standing outside your window was none other than Epel Felmier, carrying a backpack and an amusingly large box. He was moving his mouth, but you couldn’t make out what he was saying. Getting up, you moved towards the window and pushed it up.
“-et me in, these damn skeeters are eatin’ me alive,” is what you heard upon opening the window. And there were indeed a few mosquitoes trying their hardest to make a midnight snack out of your friend. “Long time no see, huh?”
You moved aside so he could let himself in. he was early, in the letter he said he’d be arriving tomorrow right after lunch. But Epel was here, in the middle of the night, hauling a large wooden crate into your room. “Yeah, but what are you doing here Epel?”
He let out a grunt as the wood crate finally got through the threshold of the window. “Visiting, like I said… Pa dropped me off early but I had some runnin’ around to do.” He reached into his pocket and handed you a small bee keychain. “Gotcha this in town, since you’re a busy bee.”
You lightly punched his shoulder, as you knew Trein would give the both of you a questioning look, but you were happy to see Epel. “So, what horrors did Marja send?” You peaked into the wooden crate.
Epel grabbed out a cardigan made of granny squares with apples and apple blossoms instead of daisies. “Matching sweaters,” he said with mock fear in his voice.
The two of you laughed though, as it was a sweet action, and once it started to cool off, the both of you would wear them together; like the cheesy matching outfits parents put siblings in.

Sweater Weather
Request: Natasha and Yelena x little sister reader? 😍 Maybe the reader doesn't feel good in her body, so she wears sweatshirts a lot and everything, her sisters notice, convince her that she really looks good and comfort her?
Notes: Thank you so much for this cute request! I apologize for taking so long to get to this one, but I really enjoyed writing this fic! I hope you like it!!!
Word Count: 2538
------------------------------------------------------------
You were the little sister of the infamous Black Widows, Natasha and Yelena. The three of you lived in a separate house from the Avengers, but were close enough to visit often. Since it was October, the sisters were planning a fall party at the house. The weather was getting cooler, and leaves were starting to fall. A fall party was a great way to get into the autumn mood.
You were going shopping with your sisters later today to buy food and decorations for the party. Even though it was getting cooler, it was nowhere near hoodie weather. However, you didn’t feel comfortable unless you wore looser clothing, so you threw on your large hoodie and got into the car with them.
When you guys arrived, you guys made sure to go over the list of party essentials.
“Alright, so we need to get fall colored balloons, pumpkin pie, pumpkin scented candles, and apple cider,” Natasha said, reading off of her notepad.
“Are you sure this isn’t just a Halloween party?” Yelena asked, eyeing the table selling cookies.
“Just because it has pumpkin involved in it, doesn’t make it a Halloween party,” you said back to the blonde with a bit of snark.
“Well, since you’re such a cheeky pumpkin I guess you’ll be part of the party as well huh?” Yelena said, wrapping one arm around you, and slipping her other hand under your sweatshirt to dig into your side.
“YELEHEHENAHAHA” you squealed out, falling to the ground after the blonde eventually stopped tickling you.
“That’ll teach you,” the blonde said, ruffling your hair. You rolled your eyes playfully, as you both turned to realize that Natasha was nowhere to be found. The two of you quickly took off, looking in the aisles to find your older sister. You two eventually found her in the juice aisle, looking for apple cider.
“Poser, you’re not supposed to run off without us,” Yelena huffed.
“Just thought I’d use my time wisely,” Natasha said, not looking up from the bottle she was inspecting.
Yelena walked over to the bottles and picked one up of the same exact kind and began to inspect it the same way as Natasha.
“What are you doing?” Natasha asked, now looking away from the bottle.
Yelena looked away from the bottle too and turned to face her sister.
“What are you doing?” The blonde asked, imitating her look to perfection.
Natasha smirked without breaking eye contact so that Yelena couldn’t see her next move. The redhead reached out faster than light and poked the blonde in the ribs, causing her to yelp and drop the bottle. Luckily it was made of plastic.
“I win,” Natasha said with a victorious grin, as Yelena wrapped her arms around her ribs.
“Whatever, it wasn’t a competition anyway,” Yelena grumbled as you giggled at her disgruntled state.
You guys had eventually found most of the items on your list, and even a few extras that would go well with the theme of the party. However, while you guys were shopping, you saw a group of girls around your age shopping together. Right away, you noticed their outfits and began to immediately compare yourself to them. They were able to wear cute sweaters, some in crop top fashion, paired with skinny blue jeans. This look was popular for girls your age, especially in the fall and paired with any sort of pumpkin flavored drink. This was an outfit and vibe you wanted so badly in your life, but you were too self-conscious about your body that you wouldn’t dare try to pull this look off. Your body insecurity was something you kept private, as you were too embarrassed to talk about it. You heard the cliche phrase that everyone’s body was perfect the way it was, but for some reason you couldn’t get yourself to believe it.
The rest of the shopping trip and on the way home, you remained mostly silent, which was different from your usual snarkiness and sarcastic remarks. However, having two sisters who were professionally trained spies meant that this would never go unnoticed.
When you guys got home, you helped unload the stuff from the car, but afterwards you quickly disappeared to your room. You kept the hoodie on for comfort.
You crawled into bed, opening social media on your phone. Your feed was constantly flooded with images of girls and their friends in cute outfits you wished you could wear too. You felt a sense of defeat and sighed, rolling over to face the wall.
About half an hour later, you heard a soft knock at your door.
“Come in,” you said flatly, dreading the conversation you were gonna have to face.
“Hi Y/N, we just wanted to check up on you,” Natasha said sweetly, as Yelena nodded beside her.
“You already know so I may as well just tell you,” you sighed in frustration.
“You don’t have to tell us anything you don’t feel like sharing, Y/N. We just want to be here if you need us,” Yelena reassured you.
You rolled over to face them, as they knew this was your invitation for them to sit with you and talk.
“I don’t really know where to start,” you sighed.
“Take your time, it’s okay,” Natasha said, patting your head softly.
“I guess…you know how prevalent social media is in my life, right?” You asked them, as they both nodded.
“I guess I just always see girls post pictures of themselves looking so good and having a great body and being able to wear two pieces and cute outfits,” you explained. The two girls nodded again, knowing where this was going.
“And then today I saw girls wearing cute outfits today when we were shopping, and it just reminded me of how I’ll never look like them and I’ll never be able to pull off any of the looks they do,” you said with your voice quivering slightly, as you were on the verge of tears.
“Oh Y/N, I know how you feel,” Yelena said, wrapping you in her arms.
“Social media can definitely have edited pictures though. You never really know if someone looks like that or lives like that all the time,” Yelena reassured you.
“And don’t forget, people don’t post the lows in their lives on social media. They only post the stuff they want you to see. Those same girls could look a lot different after having a pizza and coke,” Natasha said.
“I know all that, but it still doesn’t change the fact that they can sometimes wear cute swimsuits and outfits and I can’t,” you griped.
“Who says you can’t?” Yelena asked.
“Me. My body doesn’t look like theirs. I don’t have a flat stomach or curves, and I also don’t have a perfect even tan like them,” you said with a sigh.
“But what if I told you that you could?” Yelena asked.
“And what if I seconded it and also added on that you don’t need those features to wear cute outfits?” Natasha added.
“That’s two versus one, which means that the majority says that you can wear those outfits,” Yelena siad.
“But it won’t look good like them. Sure I could put it on, but my body is just not good enough,” you said, looking down at the line across your stomach.
“Y/N, you don’t have to be sticks and bones to wear a two piece,” Natasha explained.
“In fact, I feel like it’s healthier to have some volume to your body. Back in the old days, that meant that you were wealthy and could afford food,” Yelena explained.
“And if guys can be attractive with dad bods, then girls can have attractive bodies that aren’t perfect in size or shape too,” Natasha added.
Hearing this analogy sparked something in you. A realization you never had before. Why was it that dad bods were liked more than the ripped dude on steroids? Maybe there were people out there who liked girls’ bodies that were more than just a flat stomach and large curves.
“You’re right, I guess just seeing them be perfect all the time on social media has fooled me into thinking that they’re perfect all the time,” you explained.
“They only want you to see them when they’re perfect, but even the best person in the world is never perfect,” Natasha said.
“Yeah look at Poser for example. She’s considered the world’s best assassin and look how many mistakes she makes,” Yelena said with a giggle, attempting to lighten the mood.
The redhead rolled her eyes, running a nail up the blonde’s sole, making her squeal and kick one of your stuffed animals off the bed.
Yelena quickly went to pick it up and apologized, before glaring at Natasha.
“It’s okay,” you said, slightly giggling at the funny situation.
“Oh? Was that a giggle?” Yelena asked with a goofy grin.
“No…” you said, quickly trying to scoot away from them.
“Uh uh Y/N, we’re gonna see that smile,” Natasha said, quickly pinning you to the bed by sitting on your waist.
“Yelena, hold her wrists,” Natasha said, as you frantically shook your head, holding in your giggles from anticipation.
The blonde was quickly able to capture your wrists, and held them above your head.
“No! Guys! Don’t!” You quickly shouted, knowing you had no chance of escaping.
“Not until we see that smile, little one,” Natasha said, before slightly lifting up your hoodie to reveal your sides and tummy.
“Oh what do we have here? Do we have a ticklish tummy?” Natasha teased, as you quickly shook your head.
“I think we have a liarrrr,” Yelena teased, as Natasha lightly scratched her nails on the center of your stomach.
You flinched, unable to suppress your reaction. You clamped your lips shut, refusing to laugh.
“Already having trouble? She’s barely touching you,” Yelena said while giggling. You shut your eyes, trying to get rid of the tickly sensation. However, you knew you weren’t going to last much longer. Natasha knew this, so she sped up her tickling speed with a smirk.
You let out an involuntary snort, sucking your stomach in as an attempt to avoid her fingers. However, she knew all of your tricks and was able to follow your tummy wherever it went.
“BAHAHAHAHA NATASHAAHAHAHA STAHAHAHAAP,” you burst out laughing, as you could no longer keep the bubbling laughter down.
“Awwww there’s little Y/N’s smile,” the two sisters teased.
“Your tummy is perfect because it’s ticklish,” Natasha said, blowing a raspberry on your stomach, causing you to squeal and shout.
The redhead moved to spider up and down your sides, as Yelena used her free hand to tickle into your armpits.
“GUHUHUYS THIHIHIS IHIHIS UNFAHAHAHAIR,” you laughed, weakened by the tickles.
“Awwww poor little baby. Sucks to be the youngest huh?” Yelena teased with a smirk.
Natasha began to shake her hands into your ribs, causing you to belly laugh.
“PLEHEHEHEASE IHIHITS SOHOHO BAHAHAHAD,” you shouted, as Natasha knew this was a weak spot for you.
“Oh? Does that tickle? Is that why you’re laughing? Because you’re ticklish? And the tickles tickle?” Natasha teased, knowing you couldn’t stand the forbidden word.
“STAHAHAHAP SAHAHAYIHING IHIHIT,” you said, turning a dark shade of red.
“Awwww baby is blushing,” Yelena cooed with a fond smile. You sisters gave you a break, knowing that you were close to being short on air. However, they weren’t letting you off the hook.
“Are you feeling better?” Yelena asked, smiling down at you.
“Yes, I feel like I could just lift the entire earth up on one finger,” you said sarcastically. This comment confirmed their suspicions that their sassy little sister was back.
The two of them flipped you over, exposing a whole new batch of vulnerable spots.
“Are you gonna tell us that you’re beautiful just the way you are and that you have a good, healthy body?” Yelena said, as you could hear the warning tone in her voice. If you said no, you knew you were gonna get tickled. Guess what route you chose?
“No, I can’t lie,” you said, tensing up after you said that, knowing that they were about to destroy you.
“Get her,” Natasha said, using her nails to lightly, yet quickly scratch all over your back. She got your shoulder blades first, causing you to squeal and scrunch up as much as you could. She got the back of your ribs, which sent you into hysterics. But her favorite spot to get was your lower back. It was an overly sensitive spot and had good access to your side if you were being cheeky.
“GEHEHET OFF OF MEHEHEHE YOU OHOHOLD FAHAHART,” you said, as Natasha dipped her hands down into your sides, causing you to squeal and beg for her to stop.
“Take it back then,” the redhead said, continuing to torment your sides.
“NEHEHEHEVER,” you shouted, as they were used to you being a cheeky brat.
“Oh really?” Natasha said, reaching back to tickle the back of your thighs. Yelena had also just sat on your calves, ready to tickle your little feet.
“GAH AHAHAHA PLEHEHEHEASE IHIHI TAHAHAKE IHIHIT BAHAHACK,” you squealed.
“Good, now all we have to do is get you to say that you’re beautiful,” Yelena said, now scribbling over your feet. You yelped and arched your back, feeling the sensation electrocute your body. However, you were holding out for a good while, causing Yelena to change tactics.
“You want to play tough? I’ll give you tough,” Yelena said, as you were unsure of what her next move would be. She still remained by your feet, but this time, instead of being aggressive in her tickles, she began to use her fingertips to lightly scratch and trace up your sole. The light tickles were so much more tortuous, causing you to fall into silent laughter.
“Ohhhh not so tough now are we?” Yelena said, using the same method on the area right below your toes.
You were laughing too hard to get any words out, so you just slapped the bed three times, signaling a tap out. Yelena stopped tickling your feet, waiting for you to say the words.
“Fine…I’m beautiful and my body is great,” you said, after catching your breath.
“There we go,” Natasha said, as your two sisters wrapped you into a hug.
“Thanks for helping me through this,” you said quietly.
“You’re welcome, Y/N. That’s what we’re here for. To tickle you and to comfort you,” Yelena said, giving you a small poke to the ribs.
“We’ll be here for you no matter what,” Natasha said, as you smiled gratefully and felt happier than you had ever felt. You were protected by your big sisters who would do anything for you.
“Can I say something?” You asked, as Natasha encouraged you to speak.
“You guys smell bad and need a shower,” you said cheekily, unable to escape before they had you pinned and laughing once again. However, they both knew you enjoyed this and spending time with them. They also enjoyed spending time with you and torturing you with tickles, so it was a win-win situation.

I Love You Best In…
Tumblr media
Billy Loomis has always loved lingerie, ever since the first time he found out it was a thing when saw something lacy and pretty and soft in a catalogue. The thing was, he wasn’t picky, he loved it all, whether it was cotton candy pink and fluffy, almost like a cupcake; or something tight, with straps on straps, criss-crossing over each other and black, as if ripped right out of a trashy goth themed porno.
He didn’t care, it was all good. He even preferred you leaving it on, would love to just displace it, pull particular parts aside to reach what he wanted to, something about that made it feel better, rushed, hotter for him. He loved you naked, naturally, but there was something so appealing with the lingerie worn askew, and framing your best assets as he fucked into you.
As soon as you found out that he had this weakness you of course exploited it at every single turn. You would wear just about anything, matching sets, thigh high stockings, once you found an obscenely short dress that was made of nothing but black fishnet and that poor piece of clothing was ruined beyond recognition by the time he was through with it.
He would ask, make requests from time to time but much more often than not it wasn’t necessary, you’d play dress up plenty without him needing to prompt you. He has seen you in all manner of differently delightful and debauched attire and various states of dress, so why was this the thing that did him in the most? Coming into the bedroom to find you folding laundry, his eyes dragging up your bare legs to see all you had on was that big slouchy white sweater that Stu loved so much and judging by how high the hem rose while lifting your arms, seemingly nothing else. Billy isn’t able to just watch for long, before need overcomes and he is sauntering into the room, he doesn’t bother greeting you verbally, instead letting his hands rest on your waist. How you jumped in surprise was endlessly satisfying for Billy, he never got tired of getting the drop on you, scaring you.
Your head turns and upon seeing Billy’s face you soften, shoulders dropping back down, you roll your eyes and sigh, “Shoulda known it was you.”
“Who else would it be?” He asked and your head turned forward again, focusing back on folding the shirt that was in your hands. He leaned in closer, his chin resting on your shoulder, his hands sliding forward, over your stomach, holding you. He could really appreciate the soft material of the clothing item you stole from Stu, now being so close he could smell his scent lingering in the white fibres. He inhales deeper but tries to keep it subtle, if you do notice you don’t comment on it, instead answering the question he posed previously.
“Oh I dunno, maybe the guy who’s sweater I’m wearing right now?” You ask and he says, “Stu doesn’t like scaring you as much as I do.”
“True, not in the same way that you do at least.” His hands start to move, sliding over you, enjoying the sensation of the top sliding over your skin, “And how’s that?”
A hum before you say, “You like doing it like you just did, sneaking up on me, making me jump, and sure Stu does sometimes too but he prefers making me really scared, making it real and intense.”
His head lifts and he leans over your shoulder, getting a better look at your face, “You want to share an example?”
You give a small smile and with a shrug you pick up a pair of his jeans and start to fold them next, “Sure, like, last week, we were doing the dishes and at one point Stu picks up this big fucking knife I used to prep dinner earlier, right?”
He nods, his hands continue to wander, taking their time. “Mmhm, go on.”
You do, “So he takes the knife and starts waving it around and bringing it close to me and it’s all fun and whatever but then he, like, pushes me into the counter suddenly.”
His hands move lower, the fingers on one of his hands catch the bottom hem of your sweater, starting to drag it up, and the other starts to run over the newly exposed skin.
You are still talking, “He’s got a hand on my throat and the knife is so close to my face and he is giving me that look, you know it, like he is hungry and manic, And he’s saying all these terribly threatening things in that low sweet tone with that big fucking grin and it’s-”
“Terrifying?” He asks, his own smile clear in his tone, as his hand slides between your legs and you sigh out, head tipping back, “Very.”
He starts to touch, slow and easy and he asks another question, “And then?”
Your eyes fall closed and you tell him, “And then he just stops, just backs off and laughs like it is some big joke and he’s back to normal and I’m left reeling and have to go back to doing the fucking dishes.”
“Sounds like Stu.” He sounds amused. You are sure he is picturing the exchange right now and likes it, his fingers don’t relent, they become more focused, pick up the pace and the pleasant sensation starts to sink in and you nod with a soft moan, “Mmm, totally him.”
You’ve abandoned folding the clothes, simply holding the denim in your grasp and just as you are starting to really sink into the feeling of Billy touching you, his hands are lifting up, instead he pushes you forward. You weren’t expecting it and fell onto the clean pile of laundry on the bed, his hands are back on you, resting on your hips, forcing them up, causing the sweater you had on to get pulled up in the process, exposing you to him. Turns out you did have something under Stu’s sweater but it is so small that only until now with you so spread and exposed can he see it properly. This is a newer piece, he’d been with you when you bought it, along with several other fun things, but he hadn’t seen it on you yet, sheer, delicate and white, matching the sweater with startling accuracy.
“Fuck, you look so good like this.”
Oh you know that tone and know it well, guess this one is another winner, you bite back a smile, his hands are back to moving on you. One comes to a stop on your lower back, holding you in position, the other between your spread legs, touching you through the material and the extra friction it provides is good, you of course alert him to that fact with a quiet moan of his name. The touching you doesn’t last long, only until he sees the clear and visible wet spot spreading over and seeping through the thin white that barely covers your cunt. Soon enough he is pulling them aside, two fingers sink inside of you, curling and feeling, his thumb swipes over your clit and you clench around him. He groans at feeling your walls gripping at his fingers, he asks, “God, you’re this wet already?”
“Mighta had a make out sesh with Stu before he had to get to class but we couldn’t do anything serious.” You admit and he praises, it sounded like he was smiling, “What a good boy he is, warming you up for me.”
“Yeah he’s the best, isn’t he?” You agree with a small laugh that he returns and then Billy’s fingers are leaving you, his jeans are too tight, it is starting to border on painful and he needs you. The sound of his belt hits your ears next, unsurprising and you are not complaining. You had already been thinking about seeking Billy out for this very thing once the laundry was done, finishing what Stu started earlier, scratching that itch.
He nudges you up the bed with a light smack landing on your ass and you do as instructed, you move up and he gets onto the mattress too, one hand on you and the other on the base of himself he lines up. He is rushing but he has to have you, about to fuck you on the clean pile of laundry with no care, he is in the right position and his hips press forward and he slides in easily.
It’s dirty and it’s quick but it satisfies you both, the stretch of him feels fantastic with just that slight achy burn from him fucking you just a little too hard and just a bit too fast. He more than makes up for it, his chest to your back, hot breath in your ear, wandering hands and filthy words, broken praise among the strained sounds of pleasure, “God, so good, how-fuck-how are you, so, so fucking good?”
You loved when he was so into it, could hardly talk straight without letting out at least one moan or a curse, not like you were much better at the moment.
Currently all you could seem to do was gasp out his name and your own series of swear words. He was obsessed with this, fucking you in this way, his treatment rough but the sweater you wore so soft, smelling like your shared partner, it’s like you were all wrapped up in Stu but still you. His favorite was sharing you with him but if he couldn’t be here then this was the way to fuck you, the reminder of his best friend, his confidant, his partner in crime unignorable.
He loves this sweater, so many memories tied to it and just to Stu, his eyes closed and he is overrun with the times Stu and he were close enough that he could smell him, feel him, those precious first times that changed everything. Christ, why was this getting to him so badly? Making him so sappy and soft, seeing you, wrapped in Stu’s clothes, in your shared apartment, it’s domestic and sweet, honestly everything Billy has ever wanted. You in leather or lace is good, is hot, you in this though? It is a reminder that shit worked out, he has not just one but two people devoted to him, who love him for who he is, it’s stability and safety, comfort but still finding ways to keep things exciting even while feeling all of that.
It’s doing him in faster than he would like, he wants you to reach your end too, he rushes out, “Touch yourself.”
He doesn’t need to ask twice, his hips snapping into yours, one of his hands reaching around, palming one of your tits through the sweater, the other still on the bed to help keep himself up right and your own hand shooting between your thighs. He cums before you do with a groan of your name, body tensing and him holding to the hilt inside but it doesn’t take much more for you to find your own end, nimble fingers stroke yourself just so and you cum with him still inside of you a minute after he does.
Your walls pulsing on him post orgasm making him inhale through his teeth at the slight overstimulation that washes over him but he endures, it hurts so good. Your high finds its natural end and it leaves you both panting, trying to catch your breath, he pulls away first, sliding out and the amount of him inside of you spills out, that snaps you back to reality very quickly. You reach back, tug the underwear into place to try and stop the drip from making this worse, you sit up, look over your shoulder and you curse seeing the leaked mess of you and him on one of your favourite shirts, “Fucksake Billy, I just cleaned these clothes.”
He is tugging his pants back up and rolls his eyes, saying like it is obvious with a smile on his face, “So clean em again.”
Before you can get up to do that or protest further he is back on the bed and wrapping you up, pulling you down with him, you sigh, knowing that laundry is out till he is satisfied with cuddling you.
You end up falling asleep there for a while and later on you find yourself back at folding the laundry. Billy was nice enough to wash and dry it at the very least before he had to go to a late class. Stu’s sweater needed to be cleaned, some of the hem got messed up and cum stained and it got pretty sweaty overall from how hard you were going at it, so you swapped out Stu’s sweater for this dark blue and white flannel shirt Billy favoured.
Hearing the apartment door open and you call out that you are in the bedroom and in a minute Stu comes into the room to find you just about done with your task and he sounds delighted by what he sees, “Oooh well hello there.”
A look over your shoulder and you return his greeting, “Hello to you too.”
“You still doing laundry?” He asked, clearly confused, “You were doing this when I left hours ago.”
Laughing, you tell him as you turn back to his task, “Yeah, ask Billy about it later.”
You hear him come closer, he leans down, kisses you on the cheek before telling you, “I’ll do that.”
“How was class?” You ask and he shrugs as he is telling you, “Fine.”
He flops down onto the bed, the cleared space next to where the clean folded clothes are as opposed to on top of them, thankfully. He reached out and tugs on the bottom hem of the flannel, “I like you in Billy’s clothes.”
A grin spreads over your face and you joke, “Shocker.” The look on his face reminds you of the one back in the kitchen earlier that you told Billy.
“I know, so predictable, right?” He reaches out, one hand locks on your wrist and the other tugs the shirt you were folding out of your hands, “How about we finish what we started earlier?”
You sigh and toss the shirt aside, one of your knees comes down onto the bed, he rolls onto his back and you climb aboard to straddle him. His hands land on your thighs and as they run up the shirt is moved as well for you to be greeted with the clean pair of underwear you changed into after your post hook up shower with Billy, blue and not unlike the shirt you had on, you were in a matching mood today it seems. “Oooh, fuck.”
A roll of your hips, grinding down, feeling Stu quickly getting hard in his pants your head lolls back the spike of sensation. You give into the moment with Stu, positive that once he has your panties off and sees how much you are leaking, realizing you fucked Billy earlier and he gets to have his sloppy seconds that it will be another fun and hot quickie. After all of that you are promising to yourself that after you ride him that you will finish this damn laundry, even if it kills you.

The next chapter is up!
Mabel and Ford venture out of the shack, Dipper and Stan stay behind. All the while, the younger twins try to uncover what happened between their grunkles.
You can read it on AO3 here or below the cut!
Chapter 9 – Past Mistakes
Mabel hadn’t seen Gravity Falls in the winter – but even if she had, she wasn’t sure if she would’ve recognized it now. Snow covered the roads and stores, and a few flakes were still falling, obscuring her view even more.
Glancing over at Ford, Mabel tried to figure out how to bring up Stan, seeing as Ford didn’t really seem very…coherent. He had swerved a few times while driving into town, and despite the sleep he had gotten, he still had dark circles under his eyes.
“Here, we can grab a few essentials before I go and find…” he trailed off and shook his head.
“Oooo, who are we-OH MY GOSH!” Mabel stared at the convenience store they had parked at. Despite the snow and the fact that it was actually open, she knew the store.
Ford winced at her voice and quickly looked around. “What?!”
“I’ve been here before! Well, kind of. It was abandoned and haunted then…or in the future? Huh…it’s the past for me but also the future, that’s so weird!”
For a moment, Ford just stared at her – which seemed to be his main response to anything she did – then shook his head. “Yes, well…come on. I don’t want to be out any longer than I have to.”
“Okay!” Mabel threw open the door and hopped out of the car, trying to ignore the freezing wind as it blew through her sweater. Ford followed and they both headed into the small store.
As soon as they got inside, Mabel beelined for the candy section. Sure, they needed some real food but there wasn’t any harm in getting some sweets too, right?
“I don’t think this is the kind of food we need.”
Mabel glanced up at Ford, who had followed her to the candy section. “Aww, come on. A little candy never hurt anyone.” Mabel gave him a big smile and for a moment he once again just stared at her. Then he let out a sigh.
“You can get one.”
“Yes!” Mabel pumped her fist, then started searching the isle. A familiar label caught her eye and she took a few steps away from it. Smile Dip. Never again. However, there were a lot of other candies that she had never seen before. Sure, she had caught sight of a few when her and Stan had stopped at gas stations on the way here, but she hadn’t asked for any because of their lack of funds. But now…
With her mind on candy, Mabel didn’t know how much time had passed. It took her ages to narrow it down to Ultra Butter Candy Caramel Blasts and Chocolate Glitter Bombs. Holding up both packages, she narrowed her eyes. Which one would she have a harder time finding in the future?
“Only one, remember.”
Mabel glanced up. Ford was standing there with a few essentials in his hands – bread, milk, some canned goods - all the boring food. Letting out a breath, Mabel settled on the glitter bombs.
Walking up to the register, Mabel could’ve sworn she’d seen the owners of the store before, but she wasn’t quite sure. After all, most of her memories of the haunted store were in Smile Dip land.
“Hello ther-” The lady at the register – Ma – froze when she saw Ford. “Are you okay there, mister?”
“Yes, I’m fine.” Ford quickly put his items – including Mabel’s candy - on the counter.
“Are you sure, cause you look-”
“My uncle stayed up too late last night watching his favorite movies!” Mabel piped in before Ford could respond.
“Oh, I see. A good movie then?” Ma looked at Ford who just pushed the groceries towards her.
“Yes, fine. Now can we please check out?”
“Oh, uh, sure thing.” Ma started scanning items, but kept glancing at Ford. “Say, aren’t you that science guy who lives in the woods?”
Ford narrowed his eyes and Mabel quickly jumped in again. “Yeah! He loves his science!”
Ma looked at her and Mabel gave her a big smile, which seemed to satisfy her as she continued ringing up the items. Out of the corner of her eye, Mabel saw Ford frowning at her, but she ignored it.
“That’ll be $6.18.” Ma’s voice broke the tension in the air.
As she put the groceries in a bag, Ford pulled out some crumpled-up bills from his coat pocket. For a moment, Mabel wondered if he had enough, but thankfully he seemed to find what he needed as he placed a few bills and change on the table.
“Have a good day!”
“We will!” Mabel waved, but Ford just grabbed the bag and walked to the door. Quickly rushing after him, Mabel shivered as the cold air hit her again, but soon she was back in the car.
“So, where to now?” Mabel asked, hoping Ford would tell her who he was trying to find, but he didn’t respond. Instead, he just pulled out of the parking lot and headed further into Gravity Falls.
As they drove through on center of town, Mabel hummed to herself – a Sev’ral Timez song that had a way of getting stuck in her head. Finally, she decided to try again.
“Grunkle Ford?”
The car swerved a little and Ford glanced at her in confusion. “W-what?”
“Why are you and Stan so…tensey?”
Ford’s hands tightened on the steering wheel. “That’s not a word.”
Mabel shrugged. “Okay, but why?”
“You can’t just add a ‘y’ to the end of a word.”
“I mean, why are you and Stan-”
“It’s none of your business!” Ford snapped, and Mabel found herself shrinking into her seat. She hadn’t expected an outburst, and if she was honest, it was a little intimidating.
Silence filled the car as they drove on which gave Mabel enough time to gather her thoughts and try one more time. “I’m sorry…I guess I just...wanted to know. Cause you are twins and, twins are supposed to be super close. I couldn’t imagine not being close with Dipper...”
For a moment, Mabel thought Ford wouldn’t answer, he just stared at the road. But then he broke the silence. “Sometimes things happen and people grow apart. That’s all.”
“That’s sad…” Biting her lip, Mabel couldn’t help but remember the times when her and Dipper had arguments. They had always managed to work them out. She couldn’t imagine anything that would make them grow apart like Stan and Ford.
Ford sighed but didn’t respond.
Mabel took that as permission to keep talking. “But Stan came to help you now, right? So maybe…you two could be close again?”
“I doubt it…” Ford said, keeping his eyes on the road. Then he spoke again, so quietly that Mabel could barely hear. “But maybe he’ll prove himself trustworthy this time…”
A grin broke out on Mabel’s face. Sure, it wasn’t the most optimistic answer, but it was something. “I’m sure he will!”
Ford glanced at her for a moment, and a shadow of doubt crossed his face before he looked at the road again. “We’ll see I suppose.”
At that moment, he pulled into a driveway and stopped the car, effectively cutting off any more discussion about him and Stan. “We’re here.”
Looking up, Mabel saw a small condo in front of them. “Your friend lives here?”
Once again, there was a moment of silence before Ford’s response. “Yes. Now stay here.” He unbuckled his seatbelt and headed out into the cold.
Mabel watched him walk through the snow. She knew she should wait, but that was easier said than done. Through the flurries, she could make out Ford knocking on the door and her curiosity was too strong.
Opening the car door, she quickly hurried after him.
“It’s not for me. I just need your help with-”
The guy at the door tried to shut it, but Ford put his foot in the doorway to stop it from closing.
“I ain’t helping you anymore, Stanford. Now leave me alone.”
As he spoke, Mabel couldn’t help but feel like there was something familiar about the voice, but she couldn’t place it. However, it was clear that there was tension between Ford and this guy.
“It’s not for me, Fiddleford, it’s for-”
“Hi there!”
Both men turned and looked at Mabel, who grinned.
“Stanford, who is-?”
“It’s a long story, but I need your help to get her and her brother home.” Ford glanced at Mabel, then back at his friend.
For a moment, Fiddleford just stared at Mabel. Then he glanced at Ford again. “What have you got yourself into this time?”
“I’ll explain as we drive. Please. I don’t…have the time to-” Ford shook his head and let out a breath. “Please.”
Fiddleford looked at Mabel again – who smiled at him – and sighed. “Fine, I’ll come. For the girl.”
-------
Dipper watched through the window as Mabel and Ford left. He couldn’t shake the tightness in his gut. He had only just gotten Mabel back; he didn’t like seeing her leave again so soon. And despite wanting to trust Ford, he knew that the author wasn’t entirely in his right mind.
“They’ll be fine.”
Turning, Dipper saw Stan looking at the door, a small frown on his face, but when he looked at Dipper, he smiled.
“Ha…yeah…” Looking back out the window, Dipper sighed.
“So…uh…how did you end up here, kiddo?”
Dipper looked at Stan again. “It uh…it’s a long story…” He realized that staring out the window wouldn’t actually help the time go faster, so he reluctantly made his way to the couch and sat down.
“Well, we got time.” Stan sat down on a chair and waved his hand. “So?”
Letting out a breath, Dipper looked at the ground. “It’s kind of stupid…I wanted a perfect day with this girl…”
“Ah, a crush, eh?”
Laughing a little, Dipper found himself relaxing, despite the awkwardness the question brought up. Unlike Ford, Stan was familiar…and despite being years younger, he still seemed like Stan. “Yeah…I uh…found the time machine from this time traveler. Kind of tricked him into setting it down for a bit.”
“A trick, eh? Sounds like something I’d do.” Stan grinned and Dipper couldn’t help but smile back. Yeah, this was still Stan.
“I set everything up perfectly, so I’d have the perfect date. And it worked but…” Dipper sighed and glanced at the window. “I needed Mabel, and when she helped me, she lost this pig that she got really attached to. And then we…got into a fight with the time machine and…”
“Then you ended up here?”
When Dipper glanced at Stan, he was surprised to see that his uncle was looking at the wall, as if lost in his own thoughts.
“Yeah…I ended up in the snow. I recognized the woods, but the shack looked…different and…then I met Ford…”
“He any different in the future?” Stan was still focused on the wall.
“Umm…well…I’m not…sure.” Dipper was still aware that he shouldn’t talk too freely about the future, but at the same time, he was confused. And talking about things usually helped him reason them out.
Stan quickly looked at Dipper. “What do you mean?”
“Ummm…I…I’ve never met him before…in the future. It’s…confusing. I don’t really know why.”
“But you and Mabel…know me?” The confusion on Stan’s face reflected Dipper’s own feelings.
“Yeah, we…we came to Gravity Falls to stay with you…but…you go by Stanford in the future.” As soon as he said it, doubt overwhelmed Dipper. “Uh…maybe I shouldn’t have…”
Stan shook his head. “Look, kid, I don’t know what is up with your future but…I’m sure there’s an explanation…right?”
As he spoke, Dipper started connecting dots, his brain going into overdrive. “Stan?”
“Hmm?”
“You wouldn’t…ever…hurt your brother, right?”
“What!? No, of course not! We might not be…talking much but I’d never do anything to Stanford!”
The passion in Stan’s words convinced Dipper and he quickly backtracked. “Right, yeah, sorry I just…I’m thinking out loud…”
Stan blew out a breath. “That…it’s fine…”
It was quiet for a few moments and Dipper found himself pulling out the journal and his pen, clicking it as he tried to figure out what in the world had happened in the past to result in the future he knew.
“Hey, kid?”
Dipper looked up from his most recent journal entry. “Uh, yeah?”
“Do you know why Ford is all…” Stan rolled his hand around, searching for the right word, but he couldn’t seem to find it.
“Um…y-yeah…or at least, a little.”
Stan sat up straight. “Really? What’s going on?”
Tapping his pen on the journal, Dipper tried to decide if it was a good idea to tell Stan. But then again, maybe Stan could help Ford. “He’s…there is this anomaly.” Dipper flipped in the journal till he found the page on Bill, then held it up for Stan to see.
Stan quirked an eyebrow. “A triangle? Really?”
“His name is Bill and he…Ford met him a while ago and…made a deal. Bill wants to bring his dimension here, or…something like that…and he’s trying to use Ford to help him get here.” Dipper found himself fiddling with his pen as he spoke. Just mentioning Bill set him on edge.
“Does…does Bill talk through Ford?”
Dipper quickly looked up. Stan was frowning at the floor. “How…how did you know?”
“I uh…when Ford was sleeping, he…talked to me.” Stan’s frown deepened.
“What did Bill say?”
“I…eh, just stuff…” Stan sighed and looked at the window. “Kid, do you know why my brother wanted me to come here?”
An uneasiness settled over Dipper at Stan’s redirection. Was he avoiding something? What had Bill said?
“Kid?” Stan was looking at him again, and the uncertainty in his face caused Dipper to look away.
“I don’t know. He didn’t tell me. He just told me a little about Bill after…” Dipper swallowed, not really wanting to think about that encounter again.
“After what?” There was an edge to Stan’s voice.
“Bill just…tried to get to the portal and I guess I kind of stopped him…?” Dipper rubbed his hand along the bruises that had started forming after his fight with Bill.
“You stopped him?” Stan asked, the shock evident in his voice.
“Heh…yeah, I guess?”
Stan let out a small chuckle. “You’ve got more guts than I thought, kid.”
Dipper tried for a smile, but it fell. There was still so much that he didn’t know, and despite wanting to trust Stan and Ford, he still felt like they weren’t telling him everything. But maybe Stan would tell him a little more.
“Stan?”
“Yeah, kiddo?”
“…why are you and Ford…upset with each other?”
Stan looked away and sighed. “It’s…a long story…”
“We have time.” Dipper said, using the same words Stan had used on him not long ago.
Shaking his head, Stan leaned back on his chair. “It all started ten years ago…”
----
“So, you’re from the future?”
“Yup! It was kind of an accident but…”
Ford was only vaguely aware of Mabel and Fiddleford talking. He’d told Fiddleford about his predicament, but now he was too distracted to partake in the conversation. After all, he had other problems besides getting the kids home. So he didn’t interrupt as Mabel spoke of the future. At this point, knowing facts about the future seemed trivial, and Fiddleford didn’t seem too concerned about it. That was a little odd but maybe he was too fascinated by it to think about the possible repercussions.
Blinking his eyes hard, Ford tried to ignore the throbbing in his head. It hadn’t been horrible when he’d left but now it was giving him more trouble than he’d like to admit. Plus, it was adding to his exhaustion. It was as if the few hours of sleep he had gotten vanished and he was going off of nothing again.
The car hit a patch of ice and slid. For a moment, Ford lost control of the car, but thankfully he got it under control again. However, the action effectively killed the conversation in the car.
“Maybe I should drive.” The wariness of Fiddleford’s voice was vastly different than the intrigue and curiosity he had used with Mabel.
“I’m fine.” Ford gritted his teeth. They were almost back at the cabin anyway; he could hold out for another minute or two.
Silence filled the car until Ford pulled in front of his house. Then Mabel started talking and Fiddleford engaged in conversation with her again. Ford tried not to let it get to him. He couldn’t entirely blame Fiddleford’s distrust of him after all, even if it did make him feel slightly unwelcome. Instead, he just grabbed the groceries and followed the two inside.
“-look familiar.”
As he walked in, Ford heard Dipper’s voice. He glanced up and saw the boy looking quizzically at Fiddleford, who seemed just as curious as Dipper.
“Best leave it alone.” Despite his growing lack of care at the security of the timeline, Ford found himself not wanting them to waste any more time. The sooner the kids could get home, the sooner he could figure out what to do about his own situation. Plus, he didn’t think Fiddleford would be overly fond of the kid’s future version of himself.
Everyone looked up at Ford and he swallowed in discomfort. “Fiddleford, the device is on the table there.”
For a moment, Fiddleford looked disappointed, but then he sighed and nodded. “Right, right, of course.”
As soon as his friend made his way to the table, Ford headed towards to kitchen. He didn’t necessarily want to waste time with groceries or food, but he also needed a break to compose himself.
Of course he couldn’t get even that. Walking into the kitchen and setting down the bags of groceries, Ford heard footsteps and looked up. Stan was watching him, but despite how close they had once been, Ford found he couldn’t read his brother’s mood now. So he ignored him as he put the perishable goods in the fridge.
“You didn’t crash my car.”
Ford froze - his hand on the milk - and glanced up at Stan. “Of course I didn’t!” The pain in his head and the growing exhaustion of his body resulted in his voice coming out sharper than he intended.
“Sheesh, relax…” Stan frowned and grabbed some of the food to put in a cabinet. There was silence for a moment then he spoke again. “Did everything go okay?”
“Yes, fine.”
“Are you sure, cause-?”
“I’m fine, Stanley!” Ford snapped. He didn’t have the energy to deal with his brother’s worry right now.
For a moment, they just stared at each other, then Stan’s face hardened. “Fine.”
He stormed out of the room before Ford could respond.
Letting out a sigh, Ford put up the rest of the food. Mabel’s comments about Stan kept coming back to him. As much as Ford wanted to believe Stan wouldn’t let him down, his brother’s current attitude towards him wasn’t exactly encouraging. Trying to shake the unease in his chest, Ford made his way back to the living room.
Upon walking in, Ford found the kids watching Fiddleford examine the time machine. His old friend was muttering to himself, clearly fascinated by the machine. Dipper was questioning him, as if trying to decide how he knew the inventor.
Despite not having the energy or desire to interact with anyone, Ford forced himself to walk up to the group. “Can you fix it?”
Fiddleford looked at him, a shadow passing over his face before he returned his gaze to the time machine. “I think so. But I don’t know if all of the parts are here…”
“I tried to grab them all…” Mabel said, worry crossing her face.
“It’s okay, Mabel, I’m sure we can figure something out.” Dipper gave his sister a reassuring smile and Ford shoved aside any resentment he felt at seeing the two siblings getting along.
“The parts are pretty advanced…” As he spoke, Fiddleford glanced at Ford.
It was questioning and Ford knew he was thinking about Crash Site Omega. Another trip, more time. Ford didn’t have the time or patience to plan a trip to the crash site. Plus, it was freezing. He might not even be able to find the entrance in this weather.
Shaking his head, Ford found himself grasping at vague ideas, trying to figure out a plan. “It’s too cold.” He muttered to Fiddleford, though the kids glanced at him in confusion.
“Then what…?”
“I’ll figure something out.” Ford snapped.
“Maybe you should get some sleep-” Fiddleford started, but Ford quickly interrupted.
“I’m fine!”
When his friend shrunk back, Ford felt a small stab of guilt. “I just…give me a few hours to figure something out…”
“I suppose I could help-”
Ford shook his head. “No, just do what you can with the machine. I…I need to think…”
Making his way to his room, Ford could feel their eyes watching him, but he ignored it. Voices in his head, strange looks, feeling out of place. By now, he was getting pretty good at ignoring all sorts of things.
As he walked into his room, Ford froze as he heard a snore. Glancing at his bed, he saw Stan asleep on it. Annoyance grew in his chest, but it deflated as quickly as it had come. He wasn’t going to be sleeping again any time soon, and he might need Stan later. One of them might as well be rested.
Sitting down at his desk, Ford pulled out his journal and started trying to work out what to do, writing his thoughts out as he did so.
I don’t care to even think about the future any more, it is not as if I can unlearn the knowledge I have-
Ford’s hand froze in midair as he glanced at the sentence. Unlearn. Forget. Fiddleford said that he had destroyed his memory gun. But…what if he hadn’t? It could come in useful. Maybe…
Jumping up, Ford knocked his chair over. Stan mumbled in his sleep but didn’t wake up. Glancing at his brother, Ford knew what he had to do. If he could. If Stan would cooperate. If Fiddleford hadn’t destroyed the gun. If he was right about Bill. It was desperate and…it was permanent but…what other choice did he have?

TW: BITTYBONES AB//USE, BITTY WHUMP, BITTY T*RT//URE
Currently thinking about bitties being adopted to complete certain tasks that are usually hard for humans, like reaching very narrow places or finding very tiny items. And once they're done, they get discarded like trash.
Imagine a bitty like a Cherry who is forced to do an extremely stress-inducing task. His anxiety is through the roof and he won't stop crying. He hates it, he can't do it, he wants to throw up, this ammount of stress is NOT healthy for his breed. Oh but Mommy promised a warm bed and yummy food after this, so maybe he can! Yes! He will do it for Mommy no matter how much this traumatizes him, because she loves him very much and she believes in him!!
Finally, he is done, and Little Cherry believes he's gonna get rewarded with a loving home and lots of cuddles from his new Mommy, he's so hungry too, so surely she will be glad to reward him with a little baked treat too! Mommy loves to bake and her treats smell delicious and super yummy! Mommy approaches little Cherry with a big smile on her face, he believes she must be sooo proud of him!! She gently takes one of his tiny bony arms, while Cherry looks at her with pure adoration in his eyes, and then....
*SNAP* Before he can even register it, she effortlessly snaps one of his arms in half like a toothpick. Cherry screams, of course. Oh god, it hurts so bad, its absolutely unbearable. The love and adoration in his eyes disappear and get replaced by confusion, panic and sheer terror. He's screaming and tears flood out of his eyes. He asks Mommy why she did that but she doesnt respond. Instead, before he can even pull his other arm away from her, she grabs it and yanks it off, making it pop off his arm socket and essentially leaving him arm-less.
Cherry screams like he's getting murdered. This ammount of stress can be lethal for his breed, but who cares, he's just a replaceable little piece of garbage. Just a tool Mommy bought because she needed some extra help. Since Cherry had done his job, he was now essentially useless to her and to the world in general. He was disposable.
All those promises of a loving home and yummy treats? just a simple tactic to get any bitty to willingly do unpleasant tasks for its owner, they always fall for it without fail, especially the weak, pathetic ones. Cherry is in so much pain. His arms are dusting at unbearably slow speed, he feels everything and needs it to stop. His face is now permanently stained red from his nonstop tears. His screams of agony are ear-piercing, but somehow Mommy doesn't seem bothered.
He begs Mommy to help him, he says he loves her and asks her why she is doing this if he did what she wanted. She doesn't respond, he's not even worth a simple answer. To her, he's simple, disposable trash no more valuable than a used napkin. She kicks him in one of his tiny legs and it snaps like a twig.
"NOOO- AAAAAAAAAA PLEASE MOMMY STOP IT HURTS, PLEASE HELP ME IT HURTS SO BAD, PLEASE I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU PLEASE IM SORRY"
She just laughs as she grabs him by the collar of his tiny red sweater, now stained with his tears, and takes him somewhere he cannot see. The position hurts his neck badly, it hurts. His entire body is in agonizing pain. He can't feel his leg or his now-dusted arms, however he can feel some empty gaps on his mouth where some of his teeth used to be, they probably fell off with all the hits he had taken by that point.
He began pissing himself like any other Cherry, as a built in survival tactic, hoping Mommy would pity his already pathetic nature and maybe spare his life. Thats just wishful thinking of course, because all that does is gross her out enough that she finally decides to toss him on some dirty dark alley, too far away from home or from any bitty shelter that could save him. Once Mommy tosses him, he hits the ground skull-first. Now his head spins and hurts as well.
She leaves the alley, her disappearing figure is probably one of the few things Cherry can make out before everything turns blurry. He cries once again, as the realization finally hits him a little too late. She never loved him, he was never gonna be adopted or loved, he was just a simple tool and a commodity to her. He had been abandoned and left to rot alone, dying slowly, bones broken irreparably, discarded like a piece of trash that is no longer of use. He was worthless.
The next morning, there's an extra pile of dust in that alley. But who cares, that's a common occurence anyways.

i was tagged by @tomvorikandharry (thanks kaaaayyy!!!!! 💖) to do this fun little tag game!!
nickname: well asia is pretty short, so usually people just call me by my full name, but my family and some friends do call me aye-sh (essentially asia but dropping the last a sound i didn’t know how to write that out 😂)
height: gayvy jones height (5”3)
last thing i googled: withnail and i. i’d just finished watching it with my twin and their boyfriend and i was looking up the actors to see what else they’d been in! (p.s i really enjoyed the movie)
song stuck in my head: i didn’t have one for once until i read this and now wonderful christmastime is circling my skull 💀
amount of sleep: when i’m working in the office i tend to get around 7-7 1/2 hours, but on the weekends and when i’m working from home it can swing between 5-9 hours (my sleep schedule is so fucked dude)
dream job: oh man this is something i always flip flop on because i think if i ever made my hobbies a career i’d hate doing them (which is kind of what happened to me during art school) but i guess i would still love to work in the arts to some capacity. working for a gallery would be really neat, or doing restoration work would be incredible really. i also wouldn’t mind doing something with art history (although i’d have to get a masters and i really don’t think more schooling is for me right now). but man if someone would pay for me to do a huge research project for a documentary i’d be there so fast i love learning as much as i can about subjects i love
wearing: my all pink outfit :). pink sweater, pink lounge pants, pink socks, the only non pink clothing item is my black bowie graphic tee. (something you need to know about me is i’m the kind of autistic that likes to wear the same outfit/handful of outfits all the time. like i’ll wear this for like 3 days until i decide i should probably put new clothes on….)
movie/book that summarizes me: well i think we all know where this is going but merry christmas mr. lawrence obviously. i think there is a little bit of everything that i love in it, so it’d give you a great idea as to what topics i search for in the things i consume. (you don’t know how much i want to say head (1968) as well but i think that would only tell you how much i love the monkees and existential dread and less about me as a person).
current fav song: forever and always it will be never let me down by bowie :)
aesthetic: man oh man i do not have one at all. i dress strictly for comfort, like i can’t do fashion my brain shuts down and goes straight to how does this texture feel, is the fit too tight?? i do really love jfashion, 60’s and 70’s fashion, as well as 90’s punk/goth/grunge
fav author(s): poppy z. brite, kathe koja, stephen king, anne rice (even though her writing can be so fucking obnoxious), and yukio mishima (although his books can be super polarizing to me)
random fact: for all of grade 6 i had an uncontrollable twitch under my left eye. i think it might have been stress induced, but it would constantly twitch on and off all day 😂. as a result i can now move the muscle under my eye with ease
okay i tag @sunny-lie-melody, @reignoerme, @mygirlnesmith, @squeesbysophie, @sunflowerrboyy, @jathis, @repurposedmeatlocker, and @vintagecocacolainthesun to do this (but as always only if you want to!)

Thess vs Shopping Trips
Once again, ill-advised trip to Peckham for sundries. Didn’t help that the bus stop near my house was closed. Still, I needed some bits and pieces that I can’t get in this area on the weekend, and yesterday was bus strike, so...
Two separate pharmacies got a visit. One of the chain pharmacies in the area is cheaper than the other, but the cheaper one doesn’t have a pharmacy counter, so I couldn’t get mallet-meds there. So to the cheaper one for cold meds (I have a cold and it is doing my sinuses a misery), face wash, and something to deal with the insect bites that seem to have cropped up on my right middle finger. It was crowded, and people were not paying attention to how they were blocking aisles, and it was kind of miserable. The other pharmacy for mallet-meds was worse; the queue was awful and they only had one guy working the checkout, so ... yeah. Still, at least I got everything I needed.
Then, local grocery store. I’ve been looking up easy fudge recipes - ones that don’t require constant stirring and a candy thermometer - and picked out a couple for making over the next few days. This mostly because I figure I would be in zero shape to do the regular fudge-making when I got home from today’s excursion. Thing is, first thing I found when walking into big grocery store was ... you know those hugely oversized fleecy hoodies that are basically like wearing a fleece blanket? I’ve wanted one since the weather got overly cold but all the ones I were seeing were mega-expensive. But right at the front of the shop was a rack of particularly warm sweaters and ... some of those hugely oversized fleecy hoodies that are basically like wearing a fleece blanket. At a reasonable price. Fine, the quality isn’t going to be as good, but needs must, y’know?
(Note: it says something about the situation about heating bills in this country when shops known for selling cheap essentials are putting heavy sweaters and fleecy-blanket hoodies right up front. Not particularly a good something, either.)
Anyway, shopping really only involved the fleecy-blanket hoodie, two different kinds of chocolate, some espresso powder, and strawberry preserves, which I will turn into sauce for the making of strawberry fudge. Which made a fairly interesting bundle to take to the checkout. (I would have done the self-checkout but clothing item, wanted to ensure the security tag was taken off.) Thankfully I found a till with minimal queue, and amusingly, when I looked at the lady at the till ... she bore a nametag with the same name that turns up on my official paperwork. Y’know, the one my parentals use, which isn’t generally the one I use these days. Still, rough-looking very busy day, not much heating in the supermarket, I figured it might be nice to flag up that we share a given name, skipping over the fact that I don’t generally use it much. She was very amused by that, so it was a nice transaction for both of us, and that mood seemed to have carried over to her interaction with the next customer, so go, me!
...And then on my way out, someone not looking where they were going bashed past me and kicked my cane out from under me in the process. I managed to keep my balance, though that was painful, and the guy kind of looked over but with a very annoyed look and no apology whatsoever. The world may not be entirely made of jackass, but the jackasses are really disruptive.
Finally made it home, and now there are a bunch of kids stomping around in the corridor while I have a massive sinus headache. But I am in the warm fleecy-blanket hoodie and two pairs of socks, so that’s helpful. I also have some really good sherpa fleece slipper socks coming soon, as a sort of a Yule present, since while my shark slippers are cute, the soles are crap and have twisted in really uncomfortable ways. Still, fleecy slipper socks will make all things better when they get here.
I just wish the kids would stop...

7 WAYS TO ALWAYS DRESS CLASSY
Tumblr media
Here you will know 7 awesome way to look classy which look good at you
#1 WEAR ITEMS THAT ARE MADE OF CLASSIC FABRICS
Classic, timeless clothing made of materials that will last well into the next decade is what you should be looking to add to your essential wardrobe. Think cotton, wool, linen, and silk. These four basic fabrics will stand the test of time if cared for properly. Cleaned and pressed, items made of these fabrics tend to give off a classy vibe all on their own.
These fabrics also have variations that allow you to expand on your wardrobe. Denim is one example of a cotton fabric that cuts across all style lines, from street to boho to minimalist. Similarly, chino cotton works excellent in pants, blazers, and even moto jackets (for the street style in you!). Then there is cashmere, a type of wool that feels heavenly against the skin and doesn’t pill with age. Cashmere sweaters, whether they are cardigans, V-necks, or crewneck pullovers pair perfectly with those denim jeans, as well as tailored pants and skirts.
A word to the wise with these fabrics: Read the labels and care for them properly to make them last. While wrinkle-free cotton has become more available, most cotton items will need to be ironed. (Classy outfits are not wrinkly!) Wool, linen, and silk often have to be dry-cleaned or hand-washed. Make a mistake, and you may have to give your 6-year-old-niece that wool cardigan that was a staple in your wardrobe but shrunk in half thanks to your dryer.
#2 IF IN DOUBT WEAR SOLID NEUTRALS
Bold patterns and prints can definitely work in a sophisticated and classy look, but you may not be comfortable with such patterns if you are just beginning on your classy style journal. Neutrals are your friend in this case. Solids are plentiful in the stores (and probably your closet), easily combined, and help to stretch your wardrobe.
Typical neutrals are white/beige/cream, navy blue, black, and gray. Now, don’t think you have to dress head-to-toe in black (or other neutral). Monochromatic (different shades or tints of the same color) allow you to vary a color but remain classy. Or you can add small accents that can transform a solid into something eye-catching, like a skinny burgundy alligator belt, a paisley scarf, or a pair of red pumps. Want to know more about monochromatic dressing? Make sure to read What is Monochromatic and How to Wear a Monochromatic Outfit.
#3 FIT IS KEY
Classy and sophisticated clothing is typically tailored and form-fitting (not too tight, but you can show off your figure). Skirts should hit just above or below the knee, as should your classy dresses. Classic trousers are straight, slightly wide, faintly bootcut, or menswear-inspired and should be ½-inch off the floor in the back. Wide-leg pants and skinny pants in classic fabrics are also acceptable, as are ankle pants (shades of Audrey Hepburn!). Blazers, blouses, and sweaters should follow the curve of your waist.
Do not hesitate to take items to a local dressmaker or tailor to be altered to fit correctly. Love that shift dress at Nordstrom, but it’s too big in the bust? That’s a $15 fix. Are those gray wool pants in your closet too long for classic 3-inch pumps or do you want to wear them with flats? Another $10-15 fix. Remember, good quality clothes will last you for 10+ years, and it is a small price to pay for alterations. Beats having to replace cheap pants every three years.
Not everything you wear has to be perfectly tailored and form-fitting. You can mix in unstructured pieces for a more relaxed vibe. Pair a blue-striped t-shirt with chinos and a denim jacket or a flowy maxi skirt with a crisp white button-down shirt (roll up those sleeves for added panache!).
Here is an example of how to wear a jumpsuit, and in this outfit, I opted for solid neutrals and paired a structured blazer with a flowy jumpsuit.
#4 NEVER OVEREXPOSE
Dressing classy requires a bit of modesty — no midriff-baring tops, revealing low décolletage, or mini skirts.
Necklines are typically collared, boatneck, crew neck or V-neck. For some variety, you can also try square, cowl, and scoop necks. For more formal occasions, asymmetrical, sweetheart and halter necklines work as well. Regardless, keep your cleavage and your belly button covered. Additionally, armholes on blouses and dresses should not reveal your bra.

Don't Miss Out On These Artificial Jewelry Designs This Winter
Winter has come... Is this your favorite season? Well, I am enjoying winter a lot.
We know the coolest months are December and January, and that comes with a lot of hopes, holidays, food, and shopping for new winter clothes to dress up stylishly. It is the most anticipated time of the year, especially for women, with all of their new party outfits, accessories and awaited celebrations such as Christmas, the new year, and many more.
I personally feel so confused when I am going to shop for the latest Indian artificial jewellery designs to wear on winter clothes. Even in the dead of winter, we cannot compromise on jewelry.
One of my favorite winter clothes is a turtleneck sweater or a coat that I loved to wear with chunky jewelry. The only disadvantage of this style in the winter is that it will either conceal our neckpiece or sit close to our ears, making our ear hangings appear crowded.
- But I don't want you to stop having perfect winter styling, so I've compiled a list of the Best Online Fashionable Artificial Jewellery for you to make your winter fashion the best one yet!
- That also helps you make your task easier for this Christmas and New Year: picking out the most loved accessories to make this celebration season more joyful than ever.
Hoops to Keep Your Outfit Shining
Tumblr media
Hoops are the most traditional style of earrings, designed to be worn especially in the winter. And the most valuable item for ladies is adored all over the world.
Over time, the simple designs of the hoops have evolved significantly, and they now have stones studded into them in a variety of patterns, which are available on various jewelry websites online.
If you are looking for a simple, breezy look this winter with white knitwear or a skirt, you must pair it up with big hoop earrings to enhance your look.
Bracelets can help to warm it up
Tumblr media
A chunky bracelet paired with your sweater's sleeve will add a bold touch to your freezing hands. An Asteria Pearl Charm Bracelet is what you need this December to strike a pose if you are a fan of statement styling. Wear it with a long-sleeve rolled up to swing a fashionable look.
Chains and Pendants to Complement Your Outfit
Tumblr media
A simple long or short chain with an elegant pendant is the most essential accessory to wear with any winter outfit. A 925 Silver Turkish Evil Eye Chain is a must-have piece of costume jewelry for any woman who enjoys dressing up to look stunning. Pendants can be worn on any occasion by women of any age with almost every neckline.
Make a statement with eye-catching rings
Tumblr media
To get attention at parties, you do need to figure out which cocktail ring you are going to be flashing on your finger. Rings are one of the most essential accessories of party jewelry, having a long history and a dramatic vibe to them.

Library Triage
26 items out and more on deck soon; time to take stock encore.
Items Ready to Return: 5
Books, Keeping Until I Finish Goodreads Reviews: : 3
Books, Read But Want To Keep At Hand For Shippy Content: 2
Nonfiction Books To Browse Through: 4
1. Cabin Tripping: Where to Go to Get Away From It All: talk about gorgeous photographs and vacation daydreams...
2. The Nesting Place: It Doesn't Have to Be Perfect to Be Beautiful by Myquillyn Smith: one day (hopefully before it’s weeded) I will read this in its entirety, but it’s probably not happening this time. nevertheless -- I’ve loved this one since I saw it for the author’s mention that despite wanting roots in a house to call home, she moved 13 times in 13 years as an adult, and so had to learn to decorate and appreciate what she had instead of waiting for someday. As someone who’s also looking at long-term renting in an uninspiring space, this is so helpful.
3. Small Space Style by Whitney Leigh Morris: speaking of apartment life...will probably send this back soon, but ahhh, it’s just so pretty and full of both gorgeous color photos and cool illustrations, and every suggestion is numbered, so it’s really fun.
4. Where’s My Stuff?: The Ultimate Teen Organizing Guide: this won’t take long, but it’s back-to-school time and that usually still inspires me to spend a few days fantasizing about being a grade 6-12 student again where organizing my bedroom and schoolwork are my most/only pressing household concerns. I saw this at the library and was like, bingo, sorry to actual young adults but I clearly need this more than you right now. It’s so glossy and colorful!
DVDs, Watched But Want To Share With Parents Before I Return Them: 2 [The Lost City, Uncharted]
DVDs, Still To Watch/Currently Watching: 4
1. Jurassic Park III: I was holding it so I could finish watching all the bonus features (there are so! many!), but then I decided I actually wanna watch the whole movie again before I give it back. I’ve concluded that I do like it more than movie 2, actually, just because even though T. Rex > Spinosaurus, the other dinosaur scares are better and also, Alan Grant > Ian Malcolm.
2. The Mustang: I’ve wanted to see this since it came out, about an inmate involved in a mustang-training program at the prison (similar programs exist in real life and I think they’re amazing; everybody wins). I’m only still waiting because husband (Mr. I-can-commit-to-3-hours-of-TV or movie watching per week at most) said, “Oh, that looks good!” and since I’m always looking for stuff we can watch together, given our wildly divergent tastes...
3. The Mummy (2017): another I’ve wanted to see since it came out, despite being universally panned for reasons I don’t recall and look forward to deciding for myself. This is exactly the style of movie I’m in the mood for right now and frankly, nothing can be worse than The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor.
4. Blood & Treasure, season 1: the beloved has been in my hands for a month while I skip merrily through my favorite scenes/deleted scenes and/or rewatch entire episodes, and it is not LEAVING my hands until it is forcibly ripped away from me under threat of paying for it (and honestly, paying for a lost item might be cheaper than buying a 2ndhand one at this point, yeesh)
Currently Reading: 4
1. The Map That Leads to You - Joseph Monninger: I got about 60 pages in and I’m really enjoying it so far, even though despite taking place in summer, it really feels like a fall read (I think it’s the cozy sweater the guy on the front is wearing). It’s essentially Gayle Forman’s Just One Day with characters 5 years older, but slightly more literary, and somehow more appealing to me as well. I want a few days to think about what I’ve read so far before I continue.
2. Rural Voices: a collection of 15 short stories from various authors celebrating small town/rural life, emphasizing the diversity of demographics and experiences residing there, literally conceived as a clapback to the anti-rural “look at those uneducated right-wingers” sentiment that sprang up after the 2016 election. I’m on the 5th one at the moment, absolutely loving the setting, and pleasantly surprised by how much the diversity is working for me. Reading this one slowly on purpose to savor it.
3. Funny Farm: My Unexpected Life With 600 Rescue Animals: a memoir that is fascinating and full of sweet animals, but also full of SO MUCH GUTWRENCHING SAD re: her background and growing up with an animal-loving mother doing her best to keep her kids safe from their abusive, kinda sociopathic, not-above-resorting-to-murdering-their-pets father whose wealth and career success prevent her from getting more than shared custody. It’s short enough that it should only take a couple hours, but I keep having to take breaks for days on end to cope.
4. We Are Okay - Nina LaCour: this is not the right time of year AT ALL for this sad story of grief-processing over winter break, but then it was just there at the library waiting to be checked out, and then it was just there being all small and easily finishable, so I went outside for 90 minutes and got halfway through. Pausing now because like all her work, it is full of beautiful writing and imagery and concepts I like to take my time thinking about.
Note: aaaand forgot to suspend my request, so I gotta finish or temporarily drop the above in the next week to prioritize Listen To Me by Tess Gerritsen, which still has a request list 3 deep for every copy and which my mom also wants to read but keeps forgetting to request, so I need to make sure she reads it within the checkout time frame too. Otherwise I’m looking at another 2 month wait.
EDIT, literally 2 days after posting this: finished #4 AND Gerritsen
Books Still To Read: 3
5. This Is Our Story - Ashley Elston: IDK, I’m just kinda in a mood to read a teen thriller about 4 friends covering up the (accidental?) death of a 5th while hunting, circling the wagons to make it harder for them to be charged. Looks a lil’ like Good Girl’s Guide To Murder meets S.T.A.G.S.
6. Meet the Sky - McCall Hoyle: random library checkout, two teens stranded on an island off the coast of Virginia during a hurricane. Girl has horses/is planning to be a vet and it looks like there might be a wild Chincoteague pony trapped with or near them at some point, plus it’s short enough/I’ve spoiled enough to be able to hold my nose through the “stuck with a boy who ~broke her heart~ years ago” aspect.
7. A School for Unusual Girls - Kathleen Baldwin: Random pull from the library shelf, albeit back at the end of July, so obviously there has been a LOT jumping in front of it. Although I am v. resistant to historical fiction (even knowing that I tend to enjoy the ones I pick!), let alone vaguely alt!history, the cover was just so pretty and the first few pages had me captivated, but captivated in a way I recognized immediately I’d want to save for cold weather. Don’t love that it’s part of a quartet, so I'm just telling myself it’s standalone to avoid feeling overwhelmed by page count.
At this point I’ve had it so long I may not get to it, but I never say never. I eventually got through everything in the last library triage post!

Christian Dior Safari Jacket With Belt In Black Check Print
I’d been taking a look at Dior belts for some time and there have been a couple of I favored. I’d been eyeing up the Diorquake Belt in the Oblique Jacquard Print as I love the Oblique print as it’s only a classic. I choose the buckles on the Saddle Belts and the 30 Montaigne Belt right here. I additionally thought that a plain color can be more sensible than a sample as would go together with more things. When the worth of the belt is upwards of £400 you need to maximise the alternatives to wear it. The Dior and Shawn belt strap is crafted in blue calfskin leather and reverses to navy blue grained calfskin. Bonus to all this was it was simply in time for the Christmas packaging and I obtained two boxes, with the one the buckle came in being the Christmas design. The Dior Dway slide presents all the House's iconic emblems in one timeless type. The LV Initiales 40MM Reversible belt is a new iteration of an iconic accessory design. wikipedia belt By adding a belt to her outfit, Queen Rania looked ever-so-elegant as she spoke with CNN’s Becky Anderson. Saint Laurent’s Maillon belt combines glossy lizard-effect leather-based and a sleek bronze-tone chain for a distinctly subtle sensibility. It’s so versatile you could slip it through the loops of your favorite denims as a finishing touch or don it over a slinky sweater gown to emphasize your waistline. Parisian designer Isabel Marant knows tips on how to seize the nonchalance for French road fashion in the form of billowy attire, cozy shearling toppers, and fuss-free cinchers like the Lecce belt. It fastens with a wraparound knot for straightforward adjustment and wears well with every thing from structured blazers to relaxed knitwear. Named after Dior’s runway present in 1947, the collection pays homage to the Houndstooth motif, which dates back to the early days of the House, and was initially inspired by Christian Dior’s love for all things British. This anglophile passion led the design to progressively seem across Dior’s wardrobe items, including iconic female silhouettes. Today, the storied print is fantastically reinterpreted with a complicated, trendy twist. In 2014, Fendi began making plans to use drones to show its catwalk fashions. From 2013 till 2021, the company had a model licensing settlement with Safilo for the design, production and worldwide distribution of Fendi sunglasses and optical frames. You nonetheless get the monogram that makes a statement, however it’s adequately subtle not to scream “brand-advertisement.” White belts are super cute, particularly if white jeans or skirts are in your summer time wardrobe. If you still want to pack a punch with a cute however classy designer belt, do that attractive Dior belt on The Real Real. It’s second-hand, which is good in your pockets and the environment, plus it’s stunning. For a video call for the Annual Royal Health Awareness Society’s Board of Trustees meeting in March 2021, Queen Rania wore an Alexander Wang crepe shirt and paired it with a Bottega Veneta inexperienced snakeskin leather-based belt. Hermès is the crème-de-la-crème of luxurious, so it ought to be no surprise that the brand takes this category. The Kelly 18 belt is sophisticated in that it has a low-profile sliding system, quite than traditional construction with holes, for a one-size-fits-all belt that might be worn on the waist or on the hips. Snag it with rose gold, gold, or silver hardware, depending in your style. Ahead, you’ll discover our record of finest designer belts available now. It is somewhat just like GUCCI GG leather belt at the first sight, however, the hardware of Dior is glossier than GUCCI’s, and it's more easy and chic. We recommend you pair this belt along with your costume and suits. GUCCI has a spread of sizes of this classic belt, and the preferred width is 2cm and 3cm. If you don’t know which width of a belt perfects you, we advise you select 3cm as a end result of it almost suits everybody. The solely downside to getting this belt was the buying course of. The strap offered out in my measurement the day I went to purchase it so determined to buy the buckle in brass earlier than it bought out too.

FALL/ WINTER ESSENTIALS
It is finally the fall/ winter season and I couldn’t be more excited for this season’s fashion. Now that the weather is becoming colder, sweater weather is upon us and it is time to bundle up. It is the perfect time to build up your wardrobe and establish your fall/ winter essentials.
• Puffer jackets: Puffer jackets are a perfect winter coat for the season. Through different years the puffer jacket is seen being reinvented time and time gain through new patterns and silhouettes whether you prefer a cropped puffer jacket or a long puffer coat. They are great for the season and add a bit of texture to your outfit, while keeping you warm and cozy.
• Turtlenecks/Mock Necks: For the winter time a turtleneck is a perfect item to keep warm while looking chic and put together. Now, you can get any colored turtleneck, from brighter colors to darker tone colors. If you are tired of your simple black turtleneck, another colorway you can wear is brighter tones like green, pink, and or red, are perfect colors that can be implemented into your wardrobe. On the other hand, if you don’t like turtlenecks or want a different style of the piece then a mock neck would be perfect for you. Mock Necks, like turtlenecks, keep you warm and stylish. However, the only difference is that mock necks are less constricting as a turtleneck is much more constricting and form fitting. So if you do not like turtlenecks then a mock neck would be perfect for you.
• Sweaters: No fall- winter weather wardrobe is complete without a cozy sweater. Whether it's an oversized sweater, cable knit, ribbed knit, or a chunky sweater. For this fall- winter wardrobe any style of sweater is perfect.
• Beanies/ Balaclava: Winter caps are a must have essential that we all need. They help to keep you warm and snuggled up, while also looking stylish. In addition, beanies are essential to your fall and winter essential, and it's just because it helps with bad hair days. They are versatile articles of clothing that can be paired with anything and everything. In addition, beanies provide many options to a wardrobe, whether you are trying to keep warm or spruce up your outfit, it will get the job done. However, if you are over the style of beanies then a balaclava will be the perfect essential for your wardrobe. Currently, balaclavas have become the new it thing when it comes to hats and knitwear. With this style of hat, it is a different style of the beanie. A balaclava protects the face and head instead of just the head, so if you would like more support when battling the colder weather a balaclava is the perfect essential to have.
• Leather Jackets: Already, jackets are a vital essential to the colder weather and the changing season. From puffers to teddy coats, jackets are a very important fall, winter essential. In particular leather jackets. Leather jackets look amazing on anyone, and can be styled with anything and everything. You can get leather jackets from many different places, whether that's your local thrift store, or a second hand, leather jackets are a classic option for your wardrobe. Whether you are dressing it down or heading out for a night out, a leather jacket is no doubt a staple for this fall and winter season.
• Boots:The number one thing everyone needs in their wardrobe is a good boot. From combat boots to platforms, any form of boot is perfect for your fall and winter wardrobe. Additionally, many of these different styles of boots will seamlessly fit into your wardrobe going into the next year. Some styles of boots that will fit into your wardrobe seamlessly are the Dr. Marten Jaden or Quad style boot, and any Steve Madden ankle booties.
• Knits: This season there has been a big knit wear craze, and I for one love to see it. Many brands are jumping onto this wave and many up and coming brands are showing just how versatile you can be with knit wear. Knits can come in many different forms, whether that's sweaters, hats, or bags, knits are an essential to the perfect wardrobe. From brands like Nana Studioz to Paloma Wool, knit wear is one of the best clothing items to have in your closet. It's a clothing item that we all know and love from time to time due to its relaxed feel and its ability to be dressed down. • Faux fur trim anything: from winter coats to cardigans, and sweaters, the faux fur trim trend is taking over. Since the fall and winter season is approaching it is predictable that we take advantage of the playful and trendy style. Faux fur trim is seen in about everything and everywhere. Faux trimmed tops and jackets are taking over this season and they come with a range of styles that will please everyone. From a cross between posh and nostalgia, faux fur trimming is the best item to add within your wardrobe for those colder night outs.
• Accessories: of course with an outfit you need accessories in order to pull your look together. The practical choice for fall through winter is mittens and gloves, they keep you warm and chic at the same time. In addition, another accessory to pull your look together is bags, preferably bigger bags. As we all know bags can really pull an outfit together, however for this season we are opting out of the mini bag and instead going for bigger bags. For instance, large framed nags or a tote bag are efficient, and will carry all of your necessities with no hassle.  Another accessory to get through the fall and winter season is scarvess. Scarves have always been a staple for the colder months and it's time to pull it back out. No fall and winter outfit is complete without a scarf. Whether it's a colorful scarf, large silk scarf, or a plaid classic, scarves are a huge essential to the fall and winter season.

Part One:
Letting out an exhausted sigh you pick up another heavy box and begrudgingly make the long trip back up to the lobby. Your arms are practically begging and screaming at you to take a break, but you know there’s too much that needs to be done before the end of the day. The cool winter breeze wraps around you causing you to shiver but you continue to persevere through the light snowfall.
You’re helping bring in the new supplies for a charity organisation, Christopher's Haven, a home for kids and their families while they battle cancer. You volunteer every other weekend when you aren’t busy with work or university. It truly breaks your heart watching families accustom their normality to one of pain and suffering. After volunteering for a couple of months you’d come to the sobering realisation that for you time was a luxury; the least you could do was give up your time to families who desperately needed it.
You gently kick the door open with your foot and quickly make your way into the building careful not to let the crisp winter air inside. You’re immediately engulfed with anticipation. Excitement buzzes through the air as hushed whispers and chatter of Chris Evans coming into the organisation to make a generous donation echoes throughout the hallways. While you’re curious to get a glimpse you remind yourself that he’s here for the children and families – besides you took more of a liking to Bucky than Captain America.
You continue to haul the box over to the sorting station when a sudden change in the atmosphere drops. The chatter morphs into low whispers as a vast majority of people’s eyes widen with elation and intrigue. Directing your attention to the source of this distraction you lay your eyes on the man everyone’s so eager to meet.
Chris seemingly glides through the lobby with ease. His blue sweater is tightly fitted causing the fabric to cling to his toned and muscular body. His beard is neatly trimmed, and a playful glimmer swirls in his eyes. Chris’s smile seemingly lights up the whole building and for a moment you’re completely mesmerised by this man. You accidentally make eye contact with Chris from across the lobby; your heart rapidly increases - for a mere second the earth feels like it’s stopped spinning.
Before you can muster up any plans to slyly introduce yourself you trip over a box causing you to face plant into the unforgiving concrete. The contents of the box you’re holding spills out onto the floor emitting a loud banging sound for everyone in the lobby to hear. Your knee screams out as you awkwardly land on it. Ignoring the pain shooting up your knee you scurry to retrieve all the items that are now scattered everywhere. A burning redness rushes to your cheeks as you feel everyone’s eyes on you.
“Are you okay?” A male voice asks. Glancing up at the voice you see Chris Evans crouching down next to you, concern etched into his face as he assesses the situation.
Horror overwhelms your entire body as you struggle to maintain eye contact with him. Chris just saw you face plant into the ground; you really wouldn’t mind if an asteroid took you out right about now.
“Yeah, I’m fine thank you.” You politely mutter chewing the inside of your cheek in a futile attempt to keep the tears of shame at bay.
“Here let me help.” He ignores your protests and continues to collect all the items that spilt onto the floor. “Kind of feel like I distracted you.” He lightly jokes. You recognise that Chris is trying to make you laugh to alleviate the embarrassment that is clearly written all over you.
“You’re good but you’re not that good.” You joke back causing him to chuckle.
“Y/N has two left feet; this is a common occurrence.” One of the senior volunteer's pipes in sending you a cheeky wink before scurrying off.
“You volunteer here often?” Chris asks as curiosity clouds his eyes.
“Whenever I can.” You smile trying to ignore the butterflies exploding in your stomach. You try to stand but pain shoots up your knee causing you to visibly wince.
“Here let me help you up.” He smiles, as he gently tugs you from the ground. Chris supports your weight as he manoeuvres you to a nearby seat.
“I’m sure I’m fine, thank you.” You smile but he seems unconvinced.
“You took a nasty fall Y/N, let me have a look. I’ve had a few busted knees in my past.” Your heart nearly stopped beating at the sound of your name on his lips. Chris gently inspects your knee, but all you can focus on are the small sparks that ignite your body every time he touches you. Part of you hopes he feels them too.
“You should be okay.” He smiles, “but definitely no more work for the rest of the day.” His eyes meet yours once again and you find yourself having to fight the urge to reach out and kiss him.
You groan in frustration. “There’s still so much I need to do.” You huff causing Chris to lightly chuckle.
“Well, there’s always tomorrow. I’ll come back and help you with these heavy boxes.” He suggests, “But for now, how about I take you out for coffee, rest that knee a little bit?” Chris asks. Little specks of hope dance in his eyes as he waits for your answer.
“I would love to.” You say a little bit too quickly. Chris’s eyes light up as you accept his invitation.
“I’m Chris.” He smiles as he holds out his hand.
“Y/N.” You laugh, “But you already knew that.” You take his hand and gently shake it. Sparks once again ignite at your touch – you suspect Chris feels them too because he’s suddenly taken aback. He quickly recovers and leads you through towards the door.
“After you.” He smiles opening the door for you.
You would be lying to yourself if you didn’t admit that you were already hopelessly head over heels for Chris.
Part Two:
You and Chris had been close friends since the day you met at Christopher's Haven. It’s like you two were magnets, wherever you moved he followed. You spent every waking hour enjoying each other’s company. You’d frequently stay up and laugh the night away. You had this unbreakable bond, despite the age gap, you both connected on a deeper level. If you were being honest with yourself, Chris made you feel seen for the first time in your life. You’d even managed to gain the affections of Dodger.
Despite the mutual connection, Chris made sure he never crossed the line with you. He ensured the two of you remained strictly friends. Every time you attempted to initiate some type of romantic growth in your relationship, he would gently turn you down.
One time, on a whim, you intertwined your fingers with his. The sparks that washed over both of you were undeniable. You could see Chris having an intense internal battle with himself, and for just a moment he let himself enjoy the loving gesture before gently pulling away. You could tell with every touch, flirty joke or compliment Chris struggled to resist you, but he begrudgingly abstained.
It broke your heart every time he pushed your hand away.
Chris always went another painful step further making sure everyone in the world also understood that you were just friends. If you were ever brought up in interviews, he would clarify that you were his best friend – it stung, but you couldn’t bring yourself to part from him.
Chris had invited you as his platonic date to a dinner party, you reluctantly agreed. Well-known actors and directors were going to be at this dinner party, so you decided to put your best foot forward, and dress to impress. Getting ready took longer than expected so you told Chris you’d meet him there. You went full glam with your hair and makeup. You found the fanciest, and tightest dress you could and hunted down your sparkly high heels before dashing into an Uber.
The drive seemingly takes forever. With every second that ticks by, you feel more like a fraud. You really didn’t feel like yourself. You’re a college student seemingly lost in a world of the rich and famous, but you’d already committed. The uber pulls up to the most luxurious mansion you have ever seen. The house looks like something out of The Great Gatsby. The house was at least three stories high with an enormous water fountain in the middle of the driveway. Gulping you slowly make your way out of the uber and to the massive front door.
Nervously pulling at your dress you ring the doorbell. Music echoes from the house as you can hear chatter spilling out from every corner of the house. This definitely wasn’t the average dinner party you were accustomed to.
The door suddenly opens and a man in an expensive tux drunkenly stumbles out. He doesn’t seem to notice you, so you push past him and into the lobby. You’ve never felt so small in your life. As you walk up the stairs you consider turning back. Everyone here is in their 30s onwards and filthy rich – everything you weren’t.
Chris catches your eye from the corner of the room. He looks absolutely divine in his suit. His eyes brighten at the sight of you. You begin to make your way over to him but are cut off by a gorgeous woman in a flowy gown.
“Ah, you must be baby Y/N.” The woman smirks as she looks you up and down. All the insecurities you managed to stuff into the back of your brain on the ride here immediately rush to the forefront causing you to shift uncomfortably.
“Sorry?” You reply confusion wraps around you. Your immediately greeted with a flute of champagne by this woman.
“Oh, how rude of me! I’m Crystal, one of Chris’s long-time friends.” She slyly smiles, “We all call you baby Y/N.”
“Y/N you made it, and you look absolutely stunning,” Chris says cutting Crystal off as he pulls you in for a tight hug. Chris’s eyes darken as he drinks in your appearance. Desire clouds his eyes as he pulls you into his side. His hand lingers on the small of your back trapping you in his grip – not that you minded.
Crystals eyes turn into daggers when she sees how affectionate Chris is being.
“I was just telling Y/N here about the nickname we all have for her – baby Y/N.” Crystal jokes. You can tell she feels threatened by you, so you try your best to put on a confident front.
Clearly, your young age is a problem for this woman. You want to roll your eyes but fight against that and instead make light of the situation.
“Well, babies are cute I guess.” You joke tucking a loose strand of hair behind your ear. You only did that when you were nervous – something Chris picks up on because he gently squeezes your side as a sign of encouragement.
Crystal’s smile turns into a scowl as the air swirls with hostility.
“You know baby Y/N, Chris is interested in women, not snotty little college students trying to claw their way up in the world.” Her words drip with venom as you try to conceal your heartbreak.
“Crystal!” Chris hisses. Out of the corner of your eye, you see anger flash through Chris’s eyes – you rarely see him angry.
“It’s what everyone thinks about her, might as well cut her off before she gets too attached – get this little project over and done with.” Crystal defends. Your heart sinks into the pit of your stomach. You can’t recall a time you’ve ever felt so embarrassed. You feel the heat rush to your cheeks as your ears fiercely burn.
You fight your way out of Chris’s grip refusing to cry. Crystals words resonate with you, she’d only said what you and everyone else were thinking. Looking around you feel utterly stupid. Everyone in this room wore clothes that cost more than your apartment, even their fake smiles were worth more than you. You didn’t belong in Chris’s world – coming here tonight only confirmed it. You were living in a pipe dream; not only did you not belong in his world, but Chris doesn’t have it in him to commit to you.
“I think it’s time I left. I hope both of you enjoy the night.” You grimace as you nod to Crystal and then Chris. Before Chris can interject you gently place your champagne on a nearby table and make a dash down the stairs.
You can hear Chris calling after you, but it only fuels your need to escape him. Without your permission hot sticky tears pool in your eyes.
“Y/N wait!” Chris yells but you ignore him nearly tripping over your own feet. You curse yourself for not having a backup plan to escape. Your uber had left and it’s not like you could stop to order one without Chris catching up to you.
“Leave me alone Chris.” You yell. You were devastatingly unfit, and no match for Chris. You can feel him just inches away from you. He tugs at your arm - his grip is firm as you try to fight your way out of it.
“Y/N stop fighting me,” Chris mutters. “Don’t listen to Crystal, she’s just a very bitter person.”
You stop fighting Chris long enough to look at him. He genuinely thinks this is about Crystal. You couldn’t care less about Crystal and her words. Sure, they hurt, but there’s an element of undeniable truth behind them. You were in love with Chris, but he didn’t feel the same. Better to rip off the Band-Aid now and stop this silly schoolgirl crush you’d been nursing for Chris after all these months.
“This isn’t about Crystal.” You cry out genuinely baffled that he didn’t understand. Confusion engulfs Chris as he tries to decipher your words.
“I’m in love with you Chris, and I think you’ve known for quite some time.” You mumble refusing to look at him.
“Y/N…” Chris sighs as he scratches the back of his neck. He’s completely lost for words.
“Don’t. Please don’t.” You feel a single tear slide down your cheek, “You’ve been stringing me along, feeding me hope like we actually had a chance.” Your voice cracks as you finally affirm your worst fears out loud. “What am I to you?” You ask angrily wiping at your tears.
“I haven’t come to any solid conclusions yet.” He admits in defeat. You can see regret and sorrow swirling in his eyes but his response angers you.
“Oh, I see” You spit with sarcasm, “You expect me to sit here and twiddle my thumbs while you decide whether or not you want me.”
“Y/N, it’s not a question of wanting you, I do.” Chris defends.
“You want me but that’s not enough, right?” You ask trying to maintain a strong front, but you know Chris can see through your façade – you’re falling apart right in front of him.
“It’s complicated.” Chris lets out a sigh as he anxiously tugs at his hair.
“Let me uncomplicate it for you. Whatever the hell this is, it’s over. We’re done.” You turn away. You furiously tug off your heels and continue to walk down the footpath. You try to ignore your heartache, but it only gets louder with every step.
“You can’t run home, especially dressed like that, it’s nearly midnight.” Chris tries to rationalise, but you’re too lost in sorrow and anger to think rationally. “Let’s go back to mine, and we can talk about this.” He offers but you scoff.
“If you keep following me Chris, I’ll make sure you never hear from me again.” Venom seethes out of every word. You can tell Chris is having an internal battle with himself, but you continue to ignore him. “I was never meant for your world anyways.” You sniffle.
“Y/N c’mon.” He pleads one last time, but all you can do is shake your head and continue walking alone. The only thing keeping you company is heartbreak.
Part Three:
You finally turn into your street after what feels like forever. Your phone had died two minutes into your heart-breaking trek away from Chris and that god-awful party. Carrying your heels in your hand you ignore your aching feet and defeatedly make your way up the stairs.
Sludging your way up to your door you catch a glimpse of a large silhouette figure leaning up against the door – the only source of light illuminating the shadowy figure is the soft glow from the phone they are frantically typing at.
Your heart drops.
It’s Chris. Squinting your eyes, you assess his appearance. From what you can see his tie is loosely hanging around his neck, tux evidently creased. His eyes are bloodshot indicating that he may have been crying. His hair is a mess – he’d clearly been pulling at it.
“Oh, thank god.” Chris sighs in relief as you hesitantly shuffle towards him. “I’ve been searching the streets for you.”
Dread floods your stomach. You’d never seen Chris so devastated before. Part of you is utterly annoyed that he’s shown up on your doorstep after you demanded to be left alone while the other part of you wants to hear him out.
“What are you doing here Chris?” Your voice was monotoned, laced in exhaustion. You didn’t have the energy to fight with him right now, all you wanted was your bed.
“I had to make sure you were okay.” Desperation is written all over his face, “I thought something might have happened to you, you weren’t answering my calls.”
“My phone died.” You mumble while opening your bag and fishing for your keys. You gently push him aside to open the door.
You walk in and carelessly flick the light on. You toss your heels and bag to the side not caring where they fell.
“Did you walk the whole way? It’s nearly 2:00 am Y/N, that’s so dangerous.” Chris walks in behind you. You roll your eyes at his forcefulness.
“Like I said my phone died; I don’t remember inviting you in.” You murmur, refusing to turn around and face the man who’d broken your heart only mere hours ago.
“I needed to make sure you’re okay.” He replies justifying his presence in your apartment.
“I’m not your problem anymore Chris, why are you here?” You ask out of pure defeat. This man is the most confusing male you’d ever met. You had a plan; you were going to hate him forever – but that’s an extraordinarily difficult goal to achieve when he shows up on your doorstep late in the night with his intoxicating puppy eyes checking that you’re okay.
“You can’t even look at me, that’s how much I’ve screwed this up.” He sniffles. You can tell he’s holding back tears. You’re torn. You don’t know if you should give in and hug him or stay tuned in to your anger. After all, he rejected you, but he is somehow the one crying.
“Y/N I promise you; I will leave you alone if that’s what you wish, but I need you to hear me out before kicking my stupid ass out the door.” Chris pleads. Desperation floods his voice while regret rages in his eyes.
“You have two minutes.” You sigh bracing yourself for further earth-shattering disappointment.
“When you left me alone standing on the pavement, I don’t think I’ve ever felt so heartbroken.” He seeks your approval to keep going, and you reluctantly nod in response. “The truth is I’ve wanted you since the first time I laid eyes on you, but I had reservations. You’re eighteen years younger than me. I was so caught up in what people would think I buried my feelings.”
A stubborn tear frees itself and slides down your cheek. Chris ever so gently wipes it away with the pad of his thumb.
“I’ve tried to fool myself into thinking we could be just friends, but the truth is, I fell in love with you as soon as our eyes met in the lobby at Christopher’s Haven. I saw my whole world in them, and it scared me. I’ve never ever felt like that towards anyone in my life.” He confesses.
You refuse to look up at him as every type of emotion floods through your veins.
“Y/N look at me.” Chris gently turns you to face him and lifts your chin. Your heart beats like a mad drummer as your eyes meet. “It killed me every time I put distance between us. I’ve been such an idiot.” He admits. His eyes search yours for any sign of hope.
“You really hurt me, Chris.” You sigh, “You made me feel like I was worthless – like I was nothing.”
“I’m so sorry sweetheart, I am so, so, sorry.” Chris apologises as regret swirls in the air. “I know there is nothing I can ever say to make up for all the hurt I’ve caused you.” He mumbles. “But I promise I’ll do everything in my power to make it up to you.”
“I don’t know how to trust you.” You admit. Hurt flashes in his eyes, but he quickly recovers.
“Like this.” Chris leans in and delicately brushes his lips against yours. Fireworks excitedly dance on your lips. You’ve longed for months to feel his lips on yours. He waits for your consent to continue which you eagerly give. Sparks flood your entire being as he deepens the kiss. His touch ignites your core. Chris’s intimate touch is better than you’d ever imagined. His love for you is conveyed through his lips as he greedily devours them. Chris kicks the front door closed and gently pushes you up against it.
His lips attack your neck as he finds your sweet spot. You can’t help but moan as Chris’s lips devour every ounce of you. You struggle to rip off his jacket as every ounce of your being is solely focused on craving Chris.
A familiar heat overcomes you as you discard his tie on the floor. You fumble with his buttons but through greedy kisses and distracted moans, you prevail. Chris is now pressed up against you – he’s completely shirtless. You pause for a second, shamelessly checking him out. You’d never openly admired his build. His muscles are so toned and defined. Chris smirks as he catches you admiring his body.
“It’s all yours baby.” He groans as his hands freely roam and explore your breasts.
His eyes darken as he drinks in your appearance. He tugs you closer to him signalling for you to jump into his arms. You wrap your legs around his torso - you can feel how hard Chris is against your inner thigh. He caresses your arse while navigating both of you to your bedroom which officially sends you into a moaning mess.
You pause, desperate to ease all the insecurities still flooding through your head. “How do I know you won’t regret this when people find out?” You ask through laboured breaths.
“Y/N I could never regret being with you. I will spend the rest of my life making it up to you – if you’ll let me.” Chris declares as his eyes swirl with adoration. Love is etched into his face as he takes all of you in. His declaration was confirmation enough. You would talk to him tomorrow and set some firm ground rules, but for now, all you wanted was him. You pull him closer to you, clinging to the love of your life, loving the way he felt on top of you.

Up to date with the trends, if you don’t mind!
Tumblr media
As opposed to some people, I'm not of the opinion that Dick Grayson is a fashion disaster. I don't imagine I will convince anyone who loves to portray him as the eternal looser... But the thing with fashion is that a lot of it quickly gets dated. Since artists have drawn Dick in contemporary style for decades, it's bound to happen that some outfits get past their best before date.
Tumblr media
If we're to put the blame where it belongs, it has to be Greg Land, who drew Dick in a multicoloured polka dot shirt in Nightwing vol 1 # 2. That's the outfit most people reference when they claim that Dick dresses outlandishly. However, in the 90s, polka dot shirts (and long hair on men) were trendy – which is something that we tend to forget some decades later, when another era of fashion surrounds us.
Tumblr media
The original Nightwing suit from 1984 also gets a fair amount of flak. Certain artists, like Jim Aparo, drew the collar ridiculously high, unlike how it looked with George Pérez’ art. But on the whole, it's not in a completely different style from other superhero suits that were introduced in the 70s and 80s. High collars and deep v-necks were popular.
Tales of the Teen Titans # 44, Batman vol 1 # 441.
Tumblr media
Tyroc (1976); Black Lightning (1977); Dazzler (1980); Jericho (1984).
Tumblr media
Gladiator (1977), Black Cat (1979), Atari Force (1982), Mockingbird (1980), Booster Gold (1986).
Fashion at the time was about crossovers and breaking rules, and using fabrics such as rubber and vinyl. And disco...  Here are some pictures from the 70s and 80s, to remind ourselves what it looked like at the time.
Tumblr media
I guess some people might point the finger at the original Robin suit, too? But, seriously, it's a 1940s child superhero costume, designed at a time when the printing process favoured bright primary colours. (Besides, in a fair number of versions, Bruce is the one who designed the Robin suit. Now, if we want to talk ridiculous – take a look at Bob Kane's original sketch of the Bat-Man.)
Without further ado. Let's have a look at some of Dick's outfits over the years, and see what was considered stylish at the time, shall we.
Tumblr media
Dick in civilan garbs in the 1940s and 1950s. The boy's fashion at the time included knitted pullovers and sweaters which were also worn over shirt and tie. Bright solid or patterned sportcoats were worn with dress-shirt and necktie or bowtie. (Knickers, that is short trousers, were, by the way, children's fashion in the 1940s.)
Pictures are fashion illustrations from the 40s and 50s and from Batman # 13 (1942). Star Spangled Comics # 65 (1947), # 75 (1947), # 98 (1949), # 111 (1950).
Tumblr media
College teenager Dick in the 1970s dressed in sweaters, vests, long collared shirts. His hair was side-parted. And, you guessed it – vests, long collared shirts and turtleneck sweaters were essential fashion items of the 1970s. Dick-pics from: Batman # 248 (1973). Batman Family # 8 (1976). Detective Comics # 483 (1979). Detective Comics  # 495 (1980).
Tumblr media
Dick in a green three piece suit in New Teen Titans Vol 1 # 26 (1982). Picture in Sears Fashion Catalogue 1981. 1980s vintage tweed suit.
Tumblr media
Leather jacket, t-shirts and sweaters and jeans were trendy in the 1980s. In Tales of the teen titans 43 (1984), Dick wears jeans and an expensive leather jacket.
Tumblr media
"That" outfit in Nightwing vol 1 # 2 (1995). "Seinfeld" from 1991.
Tumblr media
Overalls were huge in the 1990s, even when you weren't custom building your own car. Nightwing vol 2 # 16 (1998), and fashion photos from the 1990s.
Tumblr media
In the early 2000s, casual clothing was a big trend. Rugby shirts was a common look, and the leather jacket was still popular. Batman: Gotham Knights # 21 (2001), # 45 (2003), Nightwing vol 2 # 49 (2000), #77 (2003), # 80 (2003).
Tumblr media
In the mid-2000s, some trendy things were: Casual, fitted shirt. Casual blazer. Cardigan. V-neck t-shirt. Trucker hat. Tank top. Nightwing vol 2 # 133 (2007), # 141 and # 144 (2008). Fashion photos from 2008, design Diesel, Tony Melillo.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In The New 52 and Rebirth, Dick has mostly dressed casually (unless it's for a funeral, of course). Jeans, t-shirts, shirt without tie, sweaters, hoodie, parka, blazer or leather jacket. Often layer on layer - sweater over shirt, shirt on top of t-shirt...  The 2010s wasn't long ago, and it's not easy to sort through fashion shows and micro-trends and see a bigger picture just yet... But a few of the things that were trendy at least at some time during the 2010s were: the colour grey; one-button suits and blazers; striped sweater; checkered shirt; fitted leather jackets; parka; pastel colours; angular v-neck.
Nightwing vol 3 # 5 (2012), # 6 (2012), # 10 (2012), # 17 (2013),  # 27 (2014). Nightwing vol 4 # 10 (2017), # 15 (2017). Assorted fashion photos from 2012–2017.
Tumblr media
Today it's 2020, and when it comes to men's hairstyles, crew cut is popular. Nightwing vol 4 # 63, and photo from TheTrendSpotter's post 40 Best Short Hairstyles for Men in 2020.
Tumblr media
And hey, superhero apparel were on the catwalk in the 2010s, too. How more fashion forward can Dick Grayson become...? Misel Saban, June 27, 2014 (Batman) and Sarah Dos Santos, December 16, 2013 (Superman); Kyle Towers, February 2, 2013 (Spiderman).
However, I don't see Dick (written) as interested in keeping up with the fashion. But he did live his first years in a small trailer. And since then, he's been accustomed to a life where you never know when your home is going to be obliterated, or your foster father will kick you out. Or when you have to rush away to follow a lead in another city or save the world somewhere. Or the next time you'll be shot and forget that you have a flat to live in... He’s bound to have learned not to have an excessive amount of clothes.
Tumblr media
When he does need to buy something, because his last outfit went up in smoke or something, he'll simply pick from what's in the front inside the shops. Hence, he'll often be dressed up-to-date. New Titans # 76, New Titans # 86, Nightwing vol 2 # 89, Nightwing vol 2 # 20, Nigtwing vol 3 # 19, Nightwing vol 4 # 50 , Robin Year One # 3.
Top pictures from: Batman # 237 (1971), New Teen Titans # 16 (1982), Nightwing vol 2 # 129 (2007), Nightwing vol 4 # 10 (2016).
