Stan is totally the type to become a (bigger) drama queen when he’s mildly sick.
He probably demands Dipper make him chicken soup to prevent Mabel from adding toys or glitter to it.
Dipper washes his hands 100 times, masks up, and still gets sick. Mabel does nothing and is fine.

I’m rewatching Gravity Falls, and seeing all the attempts Grunkle Stan made to get closer to the kids, while also pretending he doesn’t care makes me so sad 😭
Like episode one, Dipper was flipping through the Journal, and Stan asked him what he was reading to try and make conversation with him about his interests- not to mention the end of the episode, when he let the kids take something from the gift shop for free.
All of episode two he just wanted to go fishing with them, and have a bunch of fun with his family. And then now, in episode three, Mabel took the melted wax and built a statue that looked exactly like him, and he was so grateful and proud of her, that he reopened the wax museum, making sure to put her and her creation in the spotlight.
Yeah, he did come across as a vain asshole that’s so full of himself, he’d reopen an exhibit with himself as an attraction in it, but at the heart of it all, he just thought it was so cool that his great niece not only spent so much time building something with her bare hands for him, but the idea that she believed he was cool enough to base an entire art project off of him.
I’m pretty sure a gajillion people have noticed all this, and/or talked about it already, but I had to again for hyperfixation’s sake lol.

columbo, dick gumshoe, stan pines, ford pines, Uncle Iroh, Senshi. This is my Crackship Friendgroup.
Everyone is from a semimodern setting except Senshi and Iroh. Columbo and Gumshoe dress exactly the same. Stan can't stand to be near two detectives and ford at the same time. Columbo and Iroh are great conversationalists. Stan and Senshi are cheeky fuckers. Iroh helps ford meditate and find peace in nature again after his previous bad experiences. Senshi makes monster food and everyone is excited except the pines, who are confused and scared. This is what tumblr has done to me.

Stan is about to break after a soul crushing conversation, his only hope in the form of a small, tiny and strange shape. Not like Ford will care if he makes a simple choice to shift things in his favor. He doesn't care about him. It doesn't seem like he ever did.
Too bad that's the wrong choice.
My idea of an Evil Stan AU is coming to fruition! I have written and finished the fic over the three weeks I've been silent about my fics (mostly) and I'm proud of it! Gonna be posting one chapter a week until it's all out!
