I always hoped, but made peace with thinking that there may not be more updates or fics. I know some people move on from fics and fandoms, for personal reasons or the ins and outs of everyday life. But I always hoped. I don't use Tumblr much these days, but I keep the app to check in on your posts jic🤞🏻🩷
I know it's been a long time, but let me tell you. I am just so happy and feel so lucky. Normally when I read a wip, I don't reread them, and when they update I only go back a chapter or two. But bc it's been so long for ITAOAK and so much happens in the story, I decided to start at the beginning.
🩷And I got to read it for the first time all over again.🩷🥰
This fic is truly so amazing. Your writing and character development is gorgeous. I genuinely sobbed at least five times. Probably more, but honestly, I lost track (those reconciliation scenes for Laurent and Auguste had me BAWLING). But I also laughed and smiled the whole time too.
Thank you, not just for completing the story, but for putting your writing out in the world for us. All of your pieces are so beautifully written. I love that even though you are using the same characters in each work, they are all singular. They may share some of the same tendencies, but each one is still distinct to their fic.
Thank you for coming back and updating. I hope you are able to share more of your stories with us and I am looking forward to anything you share.

vista and i took our final cheeky little walk for our mental health with ash today. we’ve been doing it roughly weekly since sometime in 2020. we’d meet at the midpoint between our houses and walk around the nearby lakes, chatting about anything and everything—heavily weighed toward nerd shit. sometimes one of us just needed to vent, and that was fine too. along the way we developed relationships with the wildlife we saw—the turtles in one lake, the duck throuple which resided near the other—and became involved with their perceived lives. ash and my relationship was a stable, reliable thing in a time when little in my life felt stable or reliable. to say that our cheeky walks were lifesaving is not an exaggeration. i’m going to miss them and their obsession with duck polyamory very much

VERY IMPORTANT a dam in the Netherlands, the weerdsluis lock, is directly on a migratory path for spawning fish. They have a worker stationed there to open the door for the fish, but they can take a while to open it. So to keep the fish from getting preyed on by birds they installed a doorbell. Only, the fish don't have hands to ring the doorbell. If you go to their website, they have a LIVE CAMERA AND A DOORBELL that YOU RING FOR THE FISH when they're waiting, and then the dam worker opens the door for them! I can't express how obsessed I am with this. look at this shit. oh my god.
Please check on the fish doorbell once in a while :)
