I just want my dad- pt 3
Info: Y/n hears a voice she hasn't heard from in months, and all she wants to do is see him in person, regardless of how risky.
Series masterlist
Bloom stood in Sebastians shop, talking to Sky on the phone while Sebastian and Saul sat in the back room. She was trying to get Sky to talk to Saul but was beginning to realize that there was no point in trying.
"Can you tell y/n at least, that her father's okay? I'm sure she's heard about what happened, might be good to hear it from you." Bloom asked, knowing how close y/n and him were.
"Y/n and I aren't talking at the moment, we uh, had a bit of a falling out." Sky stated, causing Bloom to sigh.
"No way of her talking to you?" Bloom asked before hearing Sky sigh.
"Call her, get him talking to her. I'm sure that would lift her spirits with all that's going on." Sky stated, wanting to get y/n smiling again.
"Okay, I'll try getting in contact with her." Bloom nodded, knowing that was all he would say.
"Look I've got to go, Andreas is back and despite how things are, I won't ruin this for y/n." Sky stated before hanging up the phone.
Bloom sighed and put her phone into her back pocket before moving into the back room where Saul and Sebastian was waiting. The two looked up at her expectantly as she walked in.
"Sorry Saul, umm.." Bloom started, not knowing what to say.
"Sky will come round." Silva stated with a slight smile, Sebastian nodding in agreement.
"Did you hear anything about Dowling while you were in the capital, I've tried everything but the solarians have given up." Bloom stated, frustrated in herself.
"Sorry Bloom I don't know where Dowling went." Silva apologized, shaking his head, "But Sebastian here has a knack of finding things, I'm sure he'll be able to find her somehow." He assured her as Sebastian nodded.
"I'm like a terrier." Sebastian agreed, laughing slightly.
"So what am I supposed to do, go back to school like everything's normal?" Bloom asked, not sure of what to say.
"No, because everything is not normal. And you need to remember that because Rosalind will try to wear you down and you will forget what normal used to feel like." Silva explained, before turning to Sebastian, "Meanwhile Luna has given Rosalind access to the royal archives."
"Shit." Sebastian cursed while Bloom stood in confusion.
"What's the royal archives?"
"The good stuff." Sebastian stated and Silva hummed in agreement.
"She's planning something big." Silva agreed, looking down slightly.
Bloom sighed and looked down, thinking it was her fault, that if she hadn't of been so selfish than Rosalind wouldn't have control and everyone would be safe. Silva looked at her and twitched slightly before asking the question that had been on his mind since he got free.
"How's y/n been handling all of this?" He asked, wanting to finally know answers.
"Not great, she's been broken since you left. Everyone thinks that something happened to her because she's just, drained from her usual self." Bloom admitted, knowing it was better to tell the truth than to lie to the concerned father.
"What do you mean?" Silva asked in confusion, worried for his daughters safety.
"Musa and Terra walked in on Rosalind and Andreas in y/n's room, Rosalind said something about her loosing control and used the cuff's that prevent magic against her. She told them she had heard about you going to Polaris and just lost it, kept saying how she just wanted her dad." Bloom spoke honestly, watching Silva's reaction.
"God, I wish I could just see her." Silva stated, putting his hand on his head, looking down.
Sebastian smiled awkwardly and placed a hand on his friends shoulder, trying to comfort him.
"Andreas is always calling for her, probably training her. But Sky suggested that I see if can get her alone, maybe you can call her. Might put her at ease, put you both at ease." Bloom suggested, not used to seeing Silva so disheartened.
"Yeah, yeah that would be great. I just need to hear her so I know she's alright." Silva stated, looking at her with hope.
"Your girl is strong. She'll be okay." Sebastian stated, smiling at Silva.
"I just want my daughter back." Silva stated, before leaving to get cleaned up.
------------------------------------------------------------
Y/n was making her way towards the specialist area when a student specialist came towards her, telling her Andreas wanted to see her. Sighing, she made her way down the dark hall way to see Sky leaning against the wall on his phone. They made eye contact but y/n just turned away, leaning against the wall a few feet away from him, not wanting to talk to him. She looked up as they heard vehicles pulling in, and her breath caught in her throat when she seen Andreas step out of the driving area and head towards her. Looking to the side, y/n seen Sky watching before folding her arms, turning her attention straight ahead as Andreas stopped in front of her. She rubbed her wrists in discomfort as the cuffs dug into her skin.
"I was told you wanted to see me." Y/n spoke, looking down.
"Saul escaped. No clue how but I'm sure he had help." Andreas stated, looking at her with folded arm.
"Well I didn't do it, I don't have any magic remember." Y/n stated sarcastically before flinching as Andreas raised a finger in warning.
"He's been shot twice in the back yet still managed to get away. Haven't found a body yet though." Andreas stated, watching y/n relax after becoming rigid hearing what happened.
"Well that's good, isn't it?" Y/n stated with a smile, glad his dad was possibly aright.
"Not when we find him it won't." Andreas stated before turning to face Sky. "Sky, come train with y/n." He called out to his son, causing y/n's eyes to widen, looking at Sky.
"What?" Y/n asked, looking at Andreas with wide eyes.
"Well you don't have you magic, might as well continue learning to defend yourself." Andrea's stated before walking off as Sky joined y/n's side.
"It'll be okay." Sky stated in comfort, putting an arm around y/n's shoulder before guiding her to the training area, hating that y/n had to go through this.
------------------------------
Y/n groaned in pain, holding her shoulder as she entered the suite where Musa, Stella ad Terra were talking in a corner. The trio glanced at her and watched as she winched in pain. Seeing the discomfort of the young fairy, Stella tried to move over to her, going for the shoulder only for y/n to grab her wrist.
"Leave it." Y/n stated, flinching away from Stellas grasp.
"Your hurt." Stella stated.
"It's fine, nothing I'm not used to at this stage." Y/n stated, causing the girls to give her a look of sympathy.
"What's there obsession with you?" Musa asked, confused on why the heads of school always pestered y/n.
"I'm Silvas daughter." Y/n shrugged, winching as she spoke her fathers name.
"And my mother thinks that y/n should be a protector of the solarian throne." Stella spoke, watching as y/n moved towards the couch to lie down.
"Has anyone seen my phone?" y/n asked, trying to change the subject.
The three girls shook their heads and y/n sighed before grimacing as she rubs her shoulder. Standing up from the couch, she cleared her throat before moving towards her room. She thought about what Andreas had said about her dad. Their encounter had made her become worried for her father, and she worried about whether or not he was alive. Blinking rapidly, y/n sat lay on her bed and stared at the ceiling, trying to keep calm as she heard a knock on the door.
"Go away." y/n called, wanting to be alone.
"Hey." Bloom peeped her head through the door to see y/n laying on her bed.
"If your gonna start asking me questions now's not the time." Y/n stated, thinking she was here to ask about something Musa said.
"Questions about what?" The fire fairy asked, genuinely confused.
"Doesn't matter, what do you need?"
"Oh nothing, just had something I thought you might like."
"What do you mean?"
Bloom stepped into the room and held up her hand from her side, allowing y/n to see what she was holding, y/n's phone. Y/n looked at it in confusion before glancing at Bloom warily.
"Where was it?" Y/n asked, unsure of how Bloom got hold of it.
"In the hall outside the door, thought you'd be looking for it."
"Thanks, just leave it on my desk." Y/n stated before hearing the phone ringing.
"I think you should get that." Bloom spoke innocently, holding the phone towards her fellow fairy.
"No one calls me, who is it?" Y/n asked, grabbing the phone from Bloom and answering it without looking at the contact.
"Hello?" Y/n asked in confusion, moving back to he bed as Bloom watched on.
"Y/n?" A voice she recognized came over the speaker.
"Dad?" Y/n asked, unsure of if she heard right or not.
"Hey sweetheart." Silva said with relief as he heard his daughters voice.
"Daddy." Y/n said again, tears coming to her eyes.
"Yeah sweetie, it's me." Silva smiled to himself as he savored the little conversation they would have.
"I thought you were dead, Andreas said...."
"Andreas thought I would be with all the arrows in my back, luckily your fellow fairy friends got to me." Silva explained.
Y/n turned to Bloom and looked at her wit ha smile, mouthing a thank you to her before red haired fairy left.
"Where are you? Are you coming back to Alfea? I need to see you, please come back, it's been hell without you." Y/n stated, determined to see her father again.
"I know, sweetie, it's been hell without being able to see you too. But I can't return just yet, I can't risk being seen." Silva spoke with sorrow, wanting to hold his daughter close to him.
"Maybe I can go to you, I'm sure I can sneak out, I can...."
"Y/n no, its too risky. I wish you could but Bloom told me about Andreas training you, he'll find out if you left and make it worse on you. Please, don't do anything stupid." Silva pleaded with his daughter, wanting nothing more than to be with her but knowing the consequences.
"Dad, please."
"Y/n please." Silva repeated what she pleaded, hoping to get a laugh out of her, and he smiled hearing a slight laugh.
"Are you okay? You were locked up for a long time and I don't imagine it's a pretty place to be." Y/n asked, concerned about her fathers welfare.
"I'm fine, nothing I can't handle, I've lived through worse." Silva shrugged off, not worried about himself, "What about you, how are you keeping, I can't imagine how hard this has been for you."
"I'm tired of it dad. Andreas keeps training me as a specialist but I don't want that. I haven't got the strength for it. Every time we train he gets Sky to fight me and I'm to one who ends up on the ground. I don't want to train as a specialist dad, I'm a fairy." Y/n explained as she heard her dad sigh on the other end of the phone.
"I know sweetie, and I'm sorry that he's doing that to you. How many injuries have you had?"
"I don't think you want to know." Y/n shook her head, not wanting to tell her father any of her injuries.
"But I do." Silva stated, trying to encourage her to open up.
"Few scrapes, bruises, nothing major." Y/n shrugged, half lying.
"That it?" Silva asked, reading through the lines.
"Uhuh." Y/h responded half out of it.
"Y/n, what you thinking?" Silva asked, realizing his daughter was only half listening.
"Just, thinking of when I'll see you again." Y/n stated, tears coming to her eyes.
"It won't be long, I'm sure of it. For now just sit tight and be the brave girl I know you can be." Silva encouraged his daughter, smiling slightly.
Y/n smiled slightly before looking up at the knock of a door, her frown disappearing as she recognized the knock.
"I gotta go. Andreas is here." Y/n spoke quickly into the phone, and Silva went stiff at the name.
"Be careful y/n, I love you so much and I am proud of you." Silva spoke, not wanting y/n to go but knowing the longer the spoke the more dangerous it would be of his location being found.
"I love you too dad. I'll see you soon." Y/n stated before hanging up and throwing the phone on the bed before answering the door to see Andreas standing there.
"Y/n, ready to train." Was all he asked and y/n gulped.
"I've already done training today." She stated.
"Not with me, Rosalind." The older man spoke and y/n shivered, flinching as pain shoot up her back.
Knowing there was no use in fighting, y/n nodded and willingly followed Andreas. The man narrowed his eyes at how willing y/n was but just shook his head, leading y/n towards the headmistresses office. Y/n sighed as she glanced at Beatrix who sat at the assistants desk. The element fairy smirked at y/n causing y/n to turn her vision straight ahead where Rosalind opened the door after Andreas knocked.
"I think it's time to start your magic control. Get you ready to protect the solarian throne." Rosalind spoke as she closed the door behind y/n, leaving it just her and the student.
"I told you I don't want to become a solarian guard." y/n stated before winching as she felt the diamond on her back.
"You will learn to do as you are told." Rosalind snapped, causing y/n to flinch more at he pain.
Sighing in defeat y/n nodded and Rosalind smiled in success and nodded before moving to her desk where she grabbed a book. Y/n looked at her as she placed the book in front of the student before looking down at the book. Reading the title, y/n looked back up at Rosalind in confusion.
"This is the book of sacred magic." Y/n stated.
"You need to know this book if your going to become a soldier." Rosalind stated.
"But..."
"Enough buts, get on with it or face consequences." Rosalind stated, holding her hand up, causing y/n to choke.
"Please, stop." Y/n gasped for air as she looked at Rosalind.
Eventually Rosalind stopped when y/n was near passing out. Y/n coughed out as she gained her breath back, and Rosalind moved closer to y/n, leaning down so she was close to her ear.
"Your fathers not here to protect you now y/n, remember that."
Y/n just sat there, staring ahead as she listened. 'I just ant to see my dad again' y/n thought as Rosalind moved away from her.

I just want my dad pt 2
Info: Y/n finds out from Andreas where her father is due to go and loses control, but little does she know that her suite mates prevent that from happening.
Y/n sat at her desk, finishing off some homework when she heard a knock on the door. Frowning, not knowing who would be looking for her, she walked over and opened the door, before groaning seeing Andreas on the other side. Seeing her reaction, Andreas stepped in a bit to prevent her closing the door, causing her to sigh and move back to her desk, sitting down and turning to face her desk once again.
"I told you I'm not supposed to be a specialist, go train those who actually are specialists." Y/n spoke, winching slightly as she felt a stinging sensation from the object in her back.
"That's not what I'm here for. And you and I both know that there is no way your getting out of training, whether you like it or not. You have great potential as a specialist."
"In another life maybe." Y/n stated, fed up of Andreas antics.
"I'm here to give you news on your father." Andreas spoke, watching as his goddaughter perked up at the mention of her dad.
"Can I see him? Is he being let go?" Y/n asked, hoping at least one of them had yes as an answer.
"There sending him to Polaris." Andreas stated, watching for a reaction.
"That's the frozen north. Surely what he did wasn't that bad." Y/n stated, trying not to cry as tears built up.
"He did try to kill me." Andreas stated, bringing his hands out in front of him.
"But your alive. Surely that counts for something."
"The queens word is final."
"Yeah well fuck the queen." Y/n said in rage, standing up abruptly.
"Y/n, watch would you say. You know what can happen if you don't remain in control." Andreas stated, eyeing the stone embedded in her shoulder.
"No, Andreas, enough about control, I want to see my dad, please he's all I have left. I can't lose him." Y/n stated, angry tears falling.
“Y/n, calm down now before I have to use force” Andreas warned the young fairy only for it to fall on deaf ears.
Y/n narrows her eyes at Andreas and balls her hands into fists, gritting her teeth as her eyes glow white before letting her powers consume her. She fires a ball of white fire at Andreas only for Andreas to duck just on time. The fire landed on a piece of clothing, causing flames to appear as Dane walked in after accompanying Andreas to y/n's room. Seeing the flames he throws water on them, eyeing y/n as she grew angrier.
“Get Rosalind, now.” Andreas commanded before going over to y/n, taking out knife to defend himself.
“Yes go get Rosalind, see what she can do now to make my hell life even worse.” Y/n laughed maniacally.
“Y/n, stop this now.” Andreas commanded.
“No Andreas, I don’t care what happens to you, you took my dad, so why should I care what happens, I’m done for anyway.” Y/n stated with sadness before raising her hands again only for Rosalind to blast her back.
Rosalind walked into y/n's dorm room and headed towards the fairy as she lay on the ground, confused from the blast. The headmistress toots as she crouched down in front of the young Silva, shaking her head in disapproval.
Upon hearing the back, Terra and Musa rush into y/n's room to see what happened. Realizing there were two teachers there, they watched in confusion and worry when they see y/n on the ground, Andreas with a knife in his hand and Rosalind crouched in front of the student.
“What’s going on?” Musa asked, trying to read the emotions in the room only to fail, only feeling y/ns hurt.
“What’s going on is y/n here has lost control, so now we need to take action.” Rosalind stated, getting back up and moving towards Dane who gave her a box.
“What do you mean take action?” Terra asked, concerned for her friend.
Y/n looks up as she hears Rosalind walking away from her.
“I mean stop her magic temporarily, till she learns to control her emotions.” Rosalind stated, opening the box and taking out two metal wires, causing the girls eyes to widen.
“Wait, you’re not going to use them on her, are you?” Musa asked, glancing at y/n to see her eyes widen.
“It’s only temporary.” Rosalind shrugged before walking back to y/n, Andreas following.
Musa and Terra watched hopelessly as Andreas pulled y/n off the ground by her arm, y/n struggling to get away from him as he tried to grab her wrists. Seeing her student struggling, Rosalind sighed and placed her hand on the diamond embedded in y/ns back, squeezing it, causing pain to y/n that prevented her from fighting. With y/n distracted with the pain, Andreas grabbed the fairies arms and put them out for Rosalind to put the cuffs on her. Y/n whimpers in pain as they attached to her wrists, before eyeing Rosalind as she leaned in closer.
“I would advise you to get used to this y/n. The longer you fight us the more it’s going to hurt.” Rosalind stated before walking off.
“Your father is good as gone y/n, get used to it.” Andreas stated before following Rosalind out, leaving Musa and Terra alone with y/n.
“Are you okay y/n?” Terra asked, rushing over to hug y/n carefully.
“I just want my dad.” Y/n cried, falling to the ground, allowing her suite mates to comfort her.
----------------------------------
Silva sighs as he hears the door of the cellar opening, thinking it was Andreas. Four months he had been in his cell and four months since he had last seen his daughter, or anyone. Silva prepared to be smart to Andreas only to frown when he seen Queen Luna walking towards his cell, her soldiers close behind.
“What’s going on?” Silva asked in confusion as one of the guards opened the door of his cell.
“It is with deepest sorrow that I tell you this Saul, but you are being sent to Polaris.” Luna stated as two soldiers walked towards Saul.
“Wait what, no, you can’t do that. Please, I beg of you, don’t do this. Y/n needs me.” Saul stated, trying to fight against the men who grabbed his arms roughly.
“I’m sorry Saul, but you committed a crime and need to be punished.” Luna stated, trying to sound sympathetic.
“Please, let me see her, let me see y/n one last time please, I need to know she’s okay.” Silva stated, wanting to see his daughter one last time.
“I can assure you that y/n is safe, she is in control.” Luna spoke, causing Silva pull back slightly.
“What the hell does that mean?”
“As you know Saul, y/n is a very special girl. So, we took precautions so she would remain in control, she will make a fine soldier one day.” Luna spoke warmly, sounding fond of the young Silva.
“No, Queen Luna please, leave my girl alone, let her live her life.” Silva begged as the soldiers pulled him out, not wanting his daughter to end like him.
“Y/n is safe Saul, that I can assure you.” Luna stated before leaving the soldiers to do their job.
Realizing there was no way out of this, and deciding to at least act like the specialist he was raised to be even if he didn't feel like it, Saul sighed and stood straight, allowing he soldiers to put cuffs on him and lead him out of his cell. He blinked rapidly as the door to the outside was opened, feeling the discomfort of the light burning his eyes.
As he was lead towards the jeep that would lead him to his faith, Silva seen Riven and Dane as well as his other students standing to the side watching, and can't help but feel disappointed in how things turned out. He allows himself to be thrown into the back, knowing that fighting wouldn't help his chances, before looking up as Andreas jumps up behind him, chuckling lightly.
"You look like actual dog shit Saul, and you smell worse." Andreas stated, smirking slightly.
"Well I've been in jail for months, what's our excuse?" Silva asked blankly, causing Andreas to smile slightly "Even after everything your still just Rosalind's errand boy."
Andreas looked away with a smirk before leaning into Silva slightly.
"We both chose our leader, but only one of us is in chains." Andreas stated, pointing to the chains on Silva's wrists before moving to leave.
"How is she?" Silva asked, stopping Andreas movement.
"She's alive, if that's what your asking." Andreas stated with a smirk.
"You know what I'm asking. I'm guessing you told her so how did she take it?" Silva asked and Andreas nodded, turning to face him.
"She lost control so we put her in her place." Andreas said curtly, moving to get out. "Let's move out." He finished before closing the door, leaving Silva to think over what he said.
------------------------------------
Y/n lay in Sky's bed, staring at the ceiling as Sky sat at the desk. Sky sat staring at the sword Silva had given him with a glare, and y/n turned her attention to her unbiological brother when she heard him sigh.
"What is it?" Y/n asked, moving to sit up.
"Silva gave me this sword, told me it was my dads. Turns out it's another lie he told me." Sky stated, not moving his vision.
"He did it to protect you Sky, protect me." Y/n started.
"Yeah because apparently you need to be protected at all costs." He snapped before turning abruptly when he realized what he said. "Y/n I.."
"You think I want this Sky. This fucking thing in my back and these on my wrists." Y/n asked, indicating to her back before showing her wrists, "Do you think I want to be some special fairy that everyone wants. I have lost my dad Sky, possibly forever. He raised you as your own and because of one lie your casting him aside. At least your dad's still there, as shit as he may be, be thankful you still see him." Y/n finished her rant before getting up to leave.
"Y/n, please, I'm sorry." Sky called to her before she left, causing Sky to curse silently.
Y/n ignored Sky's shouts and made her way back to her dorm, tears falling down her cheeks. All she wanted was her dad and now she may never see him again. Her dad was the one who raised her and he was the one who protected her from the queen, and now that he was gone, no one could protect her from Queen Luna, or the new heads of school.
Not wanting anyone to see her crying, y/n wiped her tears as she reached the dorm. Her suite mates had seen her break down over her dad enough times, and she wasn't too keen on letting it become a regular thing. However when she looked around and seen no one around, she signed and headed towards her room, flopping onto the bed and allowing the tears to spill down her cheeks. Her thoughts became surrounded by memories with her father, not knowing that her suite mates were trying to break him out.
------------------------------------
Saul sat in the back of the closed jeep, watching as they speed past the forest, seeing excess movement along the trees. Frowning slightly, his thoughts became disrupted as they came to a stand still, and he looked back when he heard doors opening and closing as well as the soldiers cursing before the back door was opened and he was pulled out and placed in the back of a less secure jeep. He caught sight of vines growing towards a soldier that stood at the bonnet of his previous transport and taking keys from the pocket of the soldiers uniform, cursing silently as he realized who it was.
He looked back again as his new transport started moving, before turning his vision back to in front of him. He sees a bubble of water coming towards him and looks back to see Riven and Dane looking ahead before the water bursts on him. Looking down he grabs the keys and looks back once again before bending down as he hears an explosion in the distance. Riven, Dane and Andreas rush out of the jeep and ran off, and Silva took his chance to escape.
Fidgeting with the key and lock, Silva managed to open the cuffs and made a run for it to the forest behind him. He barely got into the trees when he heard Andreas give out a shout and footsteps rushing to him, so he started to run quicker. Dodging trees and overgrown roots, Silva groans as he feels two arrows shoot into his back, before seeing a cliff coming into view.
Taking a leap of faith, Silva holds his breath before he crashes into the water. Closing his eyes, he struggles to hold his breath, and ends up breathing out, choking as he feels like he's about to pass out until he sees a large air bubble coming towards him and cover his mouth, as well as pressure to keep him under water. He breathes in relief while waiting for the pressure to be relieved before swimming to the surface, feeling the stinging of his back as he struggles to make his way to the edge of the river.
Leaning against a large rock at the side of the river, Silva sees Bloom, Musa, Aisha and Terra walking towards him, causing him to look around for y/n only to become deflated when he realizes she's not there. He moves to sit on the rock and allows to pull out the arrows and point ointment onto the wounds.
"That has to be the most reckless think you have ever done." He stated as he looked back at the four fairies.
"I don't think that's very true." Terra stated, looking at her friends.
"Weren't you here last year." Aisha asked, bending down.
"Yeah when Bloom went crazy and let loose evil headmistress." Musa stated, looking at Bloom who smiled in shame.
"What do we do now?" Bloom asked, ignoring the topic.
"I need to see y/n first, I need to know she's okay." Silva stated, moving to stand up.
"I don't think that's a good idea. You just escaped, they're going to look for you. Probably go to y/n first thinking she had something to do with it." Aisha stated with a shake of her head, causing Silva to sigh, knowing she was right.
"Take me to blackbridge, right off the town square, my friend Sebastian owns a store. He helped us take down Rosalind, he'll hide me." Silva sighed, wanting to see his daughter but knowing it was safer this way.
"Alright, to blackbridge we go." Bloom stated before the group of them left.
