they discontinued 1899, but there's most likely going to be a second a third season of wednesday. i'm telling you, if it's not 'editable' for tiktok, it's automatically a flop. people don't want content that makes you think anymore, they want cool scenes they can slap an overplayed song and cheap filter over, so that their brains don't shortcut when it's presented with content not compressed into something easily digestible. god, i hate it here

Words cannot express how much I love Attack on Titan. If I could only read one story for the rest of my life, it would be Attack on Titan. I would never have gone back to writing fanfiction if not for Attack on Titan. I would never have bothered to actually sign up for Tumblr (instead of perusing several blogs while not signed in for years and years and YEARS on end) if not for Attack on Titan.

I have friends online and in person that I wouldn't have if not for Attack on Titan. I have a friend in Japan who's a native Japanese person because of Attack on Titan.

A large part of why I went to Japan is because of Attack on Titan. With a friend I might have never become so close to if not for this story.

I insisted to my brother that he needed to let me start showing him anime, that we should try to do a weekly sibling watch party, because I wanted to eventually show him Attack on Titan.

It's reshaped how I think about love and hope and perseverance against all odds in the best ways.

It reminds me why I love stories. It makes fire run through my veins.

If I ever get around to finishing a story of my own... a non-fanfiction story, something that, perhaps, gets published and on bookshelves, it will be due in part to AoT.

Your Reader AU has my brain going brrr...though im mostly focused on the crack-ish ones.

This gave me an idea (maybe for a fanfic ill wrote muuuuuch later!) like what if Reader is aware of the Links trying to court them and the second they realize that the Chain likes them romantically, they immediately go cold. What if Reader has a long, long history of bad experience with romance and they're just tired and deadeyed. And when they start noticing the Links going yandere, they just laugh, saying "oh look, something new this time!"

the chain try their best but they're just constantly confirming Reader's worst fears.

*Aw thank you!! And yes the crack-ish ones are the funniest, I love crack AUs lol.

But OOOOF

Hitting 'em where it hurts!

I just KNOW the Chain would take this hard! Because they would have needed to become close to Reader, spent precious time with them and perhaps even shared personal thoughts and fears over their time together.

And then Reader all of a sudden is giving them the cold shoulder and completely shuts down their advances?

Angst town my friend, angst town.

Like Reader just constantly friendzoning them and hoping they get the hint, or dropping off facts about how they have a few bad experiences with past lovers and hoping that gets the hint across.

What it actually does is make the Chain start a hate list with those exes on it in which they may or may not take action upon them.*

But I also think the Chain just wouldn't get it, like they would misread all of Reader's hints that they aren't interested as something else. Their minds just couldn't accept the fact that Reader couldn't be theirs.

Also tag me if you end up writing that fanfic!! I'd love to read it sometime, but no pressure!*

You thought they had finally gotten the hint.

Wild laughed merrily as he recounted a funny story about the time he had tricked a man out of his sand and snow boots, shoving another bowl of warm soup into your still warm hands from just finishing your first bowl.

You passed it back saying you were full already.

Thought they finally decided to back off and leave your friendships the way it was, as just friends.

Time paired you up with him again, giving a curt response about how the inn was short on rooms, sometimes it was that the group just needed to save rupees, and people needed to group up.

You told him you'd just room with Wind then since the young teen wanted to hear another story about your own teenage years full of youthful fun and mischief.

But no.

Sky and Four presented you with an earring they had made together: it was a metallic earing with a red feather hung off the end, crafted just so that the feather was long enough to lightly tickle you cheek and sometimes your neck from time to time.

You haven't worn it once.

They hadn't taken the hint. They've ignored the warning signs. Practically driven over them with a stampeding horse, or a Hinox.

Twilight wrapped his wolf pelt around your form for the tenth time today, reminding you of how cold it was and how he didn't want for you to get sick.

You shrugged it to Wind, reminding Twilight you were fine just like the other nine times he had tried giving you his pelt before.

Just what more did you have to do, what more signals did you need to give them for them to get the hint?!

Hyrule had been hovering over you like a frantic cucco all afternoon, constantly offering to heal you and making sure you were okay after your little trip from a branch on the dirt road.

Once again you showed him the small scratch you had gotten, the one that was already scabbing over, telling him that you were fine, and he should save his energy for an injury that mattered.

You didn't want to sit them all down, outright tell them that you knew what they were all doing and how you wanted it to just stop. So you gave little hints here and there about past relationships that ended not so nicely, about how you were a little wary of dating again.

Wars shooed away a stranger that couldn't get the hint you weren't interested in his advances, wrapping his strong arm around your waist and glaring at the poor sap.

Though your thanks died upon your tongue when the war hero kept his arm there even after the man had left only letting go after you had pried yourself away from his side.

But did they get the fact that you weren't interested with them either? No.

Legend scolded you again, demanding you hand over your favorite shirt that had been slightly damaged by a stray arrow from a bokoblin during a skirmish, so he could fix it up.

Begrudgingly you handed it over, also wanting it to be fixed since it was always so comfy to wear. But you kept an eye on Legend's progress with it and swooped the shirt up with a curt thankyou as soon as he was done with it.

You wouldn't fall for his lies about how he had messed up a stitch or that he wasn't done with the article of clothing like he had done the many other times before.

You knew they were heroes and that maybe they had gotten so used to fixing things or that they just had the sheer will to preserve through all of your shutdowns and mis-directions since they were apparently the bearers of the triforce of courage, but it was getting ridiculous now.

Perhaps you needed to have a straight talk with them, needed to tell them that you weren't interested and that you wanted to just remain friends with them.

After all it's not like you could just up and leave them, as if they would ever allow it. Hyrule, no matter which one you traveled across, was dangerous and you didn't exactly have the survival expertise to even make it a day on your own.

So you just had to deal with the group's antics with the slim hope that they would cool it down after you had a talk with them.

CH 7 - Puzzle Problems

Words: 774

Summary: The puzzles of the police station might do you in before any of the zombies.

A/N: Small slight comedy bit while I'm working on a different chapter.

One thing about this entire debacle is that if the zombies and other monster don't kill you….then these extra ass locks will.

You guess it's because whenever you've been here for the animals, the entire place wasn't on lockdown but it felt like every time you and Leon found a door, it had some convoluted locking system in place.

If it wasn't shape-coded keys then it was having to figure out which picture codes went together to unlock the door. Like picture books in the form of combination lock. It was ridiculous!

How many of these were actual safety measures and how many of these were just to fuck with people?

Electric Door Panel

"Ow!" You yelped from getting shocked, throwing the finger into your mouth.

In hindsight, you probably shouldn't have touched it without no type of gloves whatsoever. Leon came over to you, gently grabbing onto your hand and pulling it closer to him.

"Doesn't look that bad."

"Hurts like hell though."

He chuckled. "To be honest, I figured getting stabbed is a bit worse."

You pouted. "Yeah…I guess."

"Here, lemme try."

You watched intently as Leon carefully turned the small squares holding the wires, getting bits of excitement as you watched the wire light up, indicating that it was successfully connected.

"I always thought the wires would have to be connected on both ends for it to light up like that." You spoke quietly and casually.

Leon shrugged. "Honestly, with so much shit defying logic tonight, I'm not surprised that something like this is different too. Then again…I wasn't much of a science nerd in school."

You smirked. "So what type of nerd were you?"

"I-I wasn't."

You shook your head. "Nah, I don't believe that. Everyone was nerdy for something."

"Nope, normal guy."

"Who walks around like a cute but rejected boy band member? I don't believe you."

With a final flick, the panel's reward was a noise of success and the nearby sound of the now deceased Ben's cell opening.

"All done!"

"Yay…time to get up close and personal with the corpse. Love that for us."

Chess Plugs

The three of you stood confused at the panels in front of you. This one? This was really ridiculous. Plugs…in the form of chess pieces that had to be plugged in in a certain order.

You looked over to Leon. "Please tell me you know chess."

"Um…not really in this form."

"Uhh…ok! Let's try this. It's three on each, right?"

"Yeah." He nodded.

"Alright, then you take three and I'll take three and we'll just plug them in and see if anything sticks."

"Should we be really just plugging ANY of them into anything recklessly?"

"What's the worst that could happen?"

"We trip an alarm and it attracts those monsters?"

"…………..you're right."

Greenhouse Lab

To be honest, you and Leon didn't know what the hell y'all were looking at.

"Are these…supposed to be numbers?" Leon asked with a raised eyebrow.

"I…guess? How are we even supposed to tell which number is which?"

Leon shrugged. "Guess that means more looking around."

Your head dropped down as you groaned. "I hate this place so muuuuuch."

Leon gave you a reassuring pat on the back. "Yeah…same."

Lab Herbicide Synthesis

"Alright! First step?" You asked.

"Ok, hit the red button and it should switch with the tube that's above the green button right now and then press the green button."

This was nerve racking. "OK…?"

"Now switch it out with the empty tube that should be above the blue button."

"O….k! Wait! Where's the blue tube going?"

"Wait, it's blue?"

"No, it's the tube that's over the blue button, I'm just calling it the blue button."

"Oh ok. So then the tube that's over the blue button, just switch it all the way over and then press the green button."

"Exactly what are we doing, Leon?"

The rookie shrugged. "I think……………..the goal is to reach where that red laser line."

"Oook. What's even in these?"

"It's supposed to be an herbicide."

You heard a success ring before the green liquid began completely draining down and coming back up in the form of the tube that Leon had you place in earlier.

"Woo!" You let out with a clap and a little jump before turning back to Leon. "I think it worked!"

Safe Room

"I hate these soooooo much."

Leon nodded. "Well, if it makes you feel any better. I think we're almost home free. Once we reach the lab underground, I think that'll have a free ride out of here."

"Hopefully…"

Evie let out a tired whine as you rubbed the top of her head.

Just like he hated the fact that she chose to manipulate him to stops him from leaving instead of just saying she cares for him, she hates the fact that he paid her bill, using his money to show how much he cares instead of words.

"-Khushi, I know you can manage. I was just… -Why are you doing this? I just work at your house, I'm not a part of your family ! -… "

He used to insinuate so many times she was approching him for money. So of course, she feels terrible. "I'm not this type of woman! I don't need your money! I didn't hug you to ask money! You can't even offer me words of support but you're trying to pity me? Don't make me feel as if I'm unworthy to you, that I'm not your equal!"

It's when Arnav finally shows her how he cares without using money that she can sense his sincerity, that she can believe he really cares for her.

Arnav openly showing how worry he is for her and now comforting her so obviously was the last evidence they needed to know they both care a lot about each other and share feelings, romantic feelings.

Khushi running to his arms was her doing the part she needed to make for the dynamic of their relationship to change. And here, Arnav did his part.

That's why, when one of them tries to deny the feeling they have for the other in the future, they'll get angry and try everything to get the other to admit it to their face first !

This scene for me was precisely the representation of them receiving the confirmation they both find today.

"If she/he turned around, it means she/he likes me. Please, please turn around, turn around and see me !"

And they do turn around to look if the other is looking back ! To get that final confirmation : They like each other. They have feelings toward each other.

They both don't dare to guess if the other is in love yet. Arnav understood his feelings early on, Khushi is now undestanding hers. They now know they like each other but both still don't accept that they are actually already very much in love. Khushi will very soon.

UUUUUGH this made my heart flutter so muuuuuch !!

So I’m playing cult of the lamb and I have this follower, he’s a red panda and his names arty, and he’s one of my favorites so I get the marriage thing and marry him. But even before I married him he gave me this quest and was like “hey I think this follower is an imposter and secretly hates the cult.” Or some shit like that and because I’m easily made smitten, I say, “of course!” And I run off and track down the guy, evil smile and all. I find him and we talk, he says some perfectly normal shit like, “oh hey leader! I love you sooo muuuuuch!” Just normal cultish dick sucking stuff and I go back to arty kind of doubting it but it’s whatever. I talk to arty, and I tell him what the guy said and he’s like “omg that’s so suspicious!” And I’m second guessing myself and I’m thinking something along the lines of, yeah, you know what, that is kinda suspect, and I walk away. Now after we got married, Arty runs up to me and tells me that the guy was doing bad shit and that he HAD to be put in jail, so I do it, I throw the guy in prison and I check on his stats and it says that he was innocent and I shouldn’t be imprisoning him. I think about it for a second, collect my reward from arty for putting the guy away, and then let him back out of prison felling kind of confused. A little while later, Arty walks up to me and tells me, “you have to kill him, he’s going to ruin the cult.” I’m so confused, but that’s my husband, I can’t NOT. He’d be upset and I’ve already done all the other things he asked of me, what’s this matter? And I have a sacrifice ritual I can do that will raise the loyalty of the rest of my followers. So I just slink into the church, check if I can do the ritual, I can, I do. Quest now complete, I run back to Arty, I get my reward, and then I give him a smooch. Now I feel weird and find it kind of hilarious I accidentally married a psycho. THEN, he walks up to me and tells me his brothers in the forest and he wants me to find him, I go and I find him immediately, Arty is happy. And now they’re inseparable and I’m sitting here laughing over the fact I married a male red panda version of love from YOU, brother constantly trailing behind them included.

I actually know this one! So I moved into the house I grew up in when I was about three and prior to that lived in a mobile home in the empty lot next door (to where the new house was being built)

My earliest memory is standing at the window of the new house and watching as our old one was wheeled away by a truck. I remember being confused as to why they were taking it, but I don’t actually remember what the inside looked like so k guess I didn’t dwell on it too much lmao

1. What’s your favourite sims death? Hmmm I would say, the rare meteorite death. It was my favourite death to trigger with cheats back in TS4 muahahahaha, and I just love the idea of being killed by a meteorite anyway, then comes the flies

2. Alpha CC or Maxis Match? I definitely prefer Maxis Match. I like my aesthetic to be at least somewhat coherent, and I'd rather not mess with too high poly objects unless absolutely necessary

3. Do you cheat when your sims gain weight? Depends on how lazy I am to send them on a run lmao

4. Do you use move objects? Absolutely. I couldn't play without it.

5. Favorite mod? MCCC (duh), WickedWhims, and @chingyu1023vick's 100 CAS traits. I don't like the lack of diversity in personality traits that TS4 has, TS3 was muuuuuch better in this regard. Btw, I've got also a mod to add more traits.

6. First expansion/game/stuff pack you got? I don't remember, honestly.

7. Do you pronounce “live mode” like aLIVE or LIVing? aLIVE. I think it's the most logical way to pronounce it.

8. Who’s your favorite sim that you’ve made? I love them all! Although I must say Saule is my favourite, closely followed by Beatrice.

9. Have you made a simself? I did, but I never play with her. I don't like doing so anyway, playing as yourself in the sims? Nah, not my thing. Just for avatar purposes.

10. What sim traits do you give yourself? If going by only three traits: creative, loyal, loner. If adding more: creative, loyal, loner, cat lover, perfectionist.

11. Which is your favorite EA hair color? Black (not the one with blue undertones, the other one)

12. Favorite EA hair? Hmmm, the one from Island Living that Paka'a Uha wears. The sort of half-waterfall braid thing. I love this one. Also the braid from Cottage Living.

13. Favorite life stage? Young adult, of course. I like playing as kids/teens also.

14. Are you a builder or are you in it for the gameplay? Both. Though more of a renovator than a builder, and more of a storyteller than a gamer.

15. Are you a CC creator? I'd kinda like to create some CC sometime, but I have no knowledge in 3D meshing or texturing. I think about drawing designs for graphic tees and uploading them though. Or recoloring things.

16. Do you have any simblr friends/a sim squad? Not really, but I have nice mutuals that I love very much. <3 Though it's difficult for me to consider someone a friend unless we know each other more closely, and given that I have some opinions that I think the majority of simblr would dislike (spoiler: nothing hateful, criminal or extreme, just some skepticism on my end, but many people get fired up super easily especially on tumblr and it's difficult to have a healthy discussion or agree to disagree), I'm not sure I can truly make friends here. I mean time will tell, but I'm reserved about the idea that it could happen. Maybe I'm too much on my guard, but I'll just see what happens.

17. What’s your favorite game? TS2 and TS4. I loved TS3 as well but it's so dreadfully badly optimized that I can't play it.

18. Do you have any sims merch? Nay

20. How has your “sim style” changed throughout your years of playing? I tend to make sims of a certain ethnicity depending on which period/culture I'm interested in. So I had a bunch of Japanese sims back in 2017/18, then Indian, then I stopped playing, now some Kazakhs, a few Russians and one Mongolian, and I'll see how this goes, but I feel like making more Americans especially given that I play Strangerville. Even if America in itself isn't much my cup of tea. I didn't use reshades until I created my simblr because I was afraid it was going to crash my laptop, but turns out nope, it doesn't. Especially since I can toggle it on and off, which I didn't know was possible. I did use skinblends back in the day, but I had kind of a different aesthetic than now. Now, I prefer simple things that are way more Maxis Match and fit perfectly into the game's aesthetic. I consider it's not made that way for nothing.

24. How do you edit your pictures? Reshade, for some pics I use my drawing software Clip Studio Paint, which perfectly does the trick. Though it's a bit shitty for texting edits, because they don't support emojis like you'd see on a phone...

25. What expansion/game/stuff pack is your favorite so far? Strangerville. Duh. Cottage Living, Seasons, Cats and Dogs, and the Paranormal stuff.

26. What expansion/game/stuff pack do you want next? Hmm, why not High School Years? It's gonna come in handy when I'll tell Christie's teen years and I could use some Y2K stuff too.

That said, oh my god I've missed Stiles so muuuuuch.

This is my baby. This is the boy I love so much. The smart, determined, sarcastic human being who uses humor as his coping mechanism and is traumatized like nobody's business, but still refuses to give up--ESPECIALLY when he doesn't have all of the answers.

Also, I gotta say, I kind of already love Oliver (whose actor was on freaking DISNEY CHANNEL, btw. I was trying to figure out where I recognized him from and then I finally gave in and looked him up and he was on Jessie! AND in How to Build a Better Boy. Anyways.). Like, he's kind of adorable, and while he's currently getting on Stiles' nerves, because Stiles is in investigation mode, I feel like there's a chance that Oliver could grow on him, and maybe Oliver will help him get out of here.

Speaking of getting out of here, what the f*ck is Malia doing here?

More importantly, what the F*CK is Ms. Morrell doing here?? I mean, I gotta say, thank GOD, because then at least we have one person that we know for SURE is probably on Stiles's side and one person that can hopefully help him and maybe even get him out of here, because lord knows we need all the resources we can get in there right now, since Stiles stupidly isolated himself and now is basically SCREWED without his pack, but WHATEVER (this is why you don't let your guilt dictate your plans, Stiles!!).

But yeah. I'm glad she's there. Hopefully she can protect him and help him until the pack can figure this out and get him the f*ck out of there, because I don't like this, and I feel like it'll end poorly, and I just...UGHHHHH STILES!!! MY POOR BABY!!

Also, random aside: who the F*CK is Meredith, and why the F*CK does she know who Stiles is, and who the F*CK was she talking to and I HATE THIS UGGGGHHHH!!

Anyways here's my baby being hilarious and adorable because I've missed it and I feel like we haven't truly gotten it in forever (we kind of haven't?? I mean, I think the last normal Stiles we truly got was episode 16 (yes, he was still himself in most of episodes 17 and 18, but he was so distressed, so we weren't getting the same level of sass and wit that we usually get), so it's been a few episodes, and it certainly doesn't help that I've only been watching, like, an episode a week. Anyways I missed my sassy baby. <3)

(Seriously why do I already love this friendship? XD <3)

P.S. I am less worried because it seems like the last thing Stiles wants to do is die, and I'm pretty sure the warning was because of the dude who hung himself in the stairwell. So THAT'S something...I hope.

yeah but you guys are too self-concerned you seem to think you’re voicing the opinion of the people but no offence tons of people lurk here to keep in the loop and also hate half of what you guys say - for example I think you’re all just kinda bitter haters because you want content which I understand because I want content too but not to the point of being as complain-y as you guys about it. also we’re just being gossips so we want to be aware of tea. a better way to gage truthfulness of opinions is looking at gcs which is where people actually tell the truth and as someone on main people actually do like it. though opinions on banter are muuuuuch more neg leaning.

well its hard to say, speaking only about my blog, i rarely get anons who disagree entirely about what i say, this morning you're probably the first. so is my opinion the opinion of the people, of course not, but i think a good % of the people who follow me share the same opinion of at least agree partially with it

Hey, this is just a little random observation from me, but I notice your take on the Corruption seems to be the only one these days that goes with the old popular theory where the corruption isn't its own entity that eventually overtakes its host's body but rather something that simply corrupts & changes those who it infected while amplifying certain traits of theirs along with some influence from it but not outright actually taking control.

I always prefer this take over the canon one because I feel it makes everything much more interesting, especially how it makes the corrupted more like a wild card of sorts. It also gives everything a more tragic feel to it as well.

A good example of what I mean exactly would be the situation with Otis in your Corruption AU. He fought to the bitter end to protect Morgana from Komet, making absolutely sure that they were able to escape unharmed and most importantly uncorrupted. Even once he was fully corrupted, Otis still didn't give up. He was overwhelmed and pretty much defeated, and yet he still refused to give in.

Then Komet happens to see his true desires through their shared bond with the corruption.

Said desires are nothing terrible on their own. After all, it's normal for one to wanna keep their friends and loved ones safe. His wish for his family to be together and be a happy family again is also a normal one. A bit selfish maybe but hey we all have a bit of selfishness in us and there's nothing wrong with that!

... but then Komet proceeds to use this wish against Otis. He pulls some emotional manipulation on him while he was in his most vulnerable state.

What makes it so tragic is that you made it clear Otis had initially tried to not listen to Komet- tried so so soooo hard to shut his voice out. But Komet... just keeps on talking. Kindly too. Even tells Otis what happened on that day when the Corruption outbreak happened, why exactly he's doing this, and so on. All of this, combined with Otis's own doubts over whether it's even possible for this ruined world to be saved, eventually resulted in Otis believing Komet is right.

And to make this even more heartwrenching here? You made it clear that deep down Otis KNOWS this is wrong and that he's being selfish here but he doesn't care anymore. At this point, all that matters is that he's able to protect his remaining family no matter what if it results in him becoming hated for it.

.... But fortunately for us all, Otis knows better than to try to corrupt Morgana in their current state; as horrible as this will sound, it's a good thing that Morgana was not in a good mental state when Otis found him. So instead of corrupting Morgana to keep them "safe" as he originally planned, Otis instead focuses on protecting Morgana. Sadly that doesn't mean Otis has given up on his original plan but you had stated that Otis will only corrupt Morgana once he's in a muuuuuch better state of mind... and as you added on, that won't be happening any time soon (un)fortunately. So Morgana is safe for the time being.

Ah sorry for the long ramble. Didn't mean to get so carried away here saskjasjk

But anyway, to wrap this all up, your take on the Corruption AU will forever be one of my favorite AUs out there. Thank you for making it again and hope to see more on it in the future one day! But please don't feel obliged to rush to get content out after seeing this! I love your works but I don't want you to force yourself to get content out all because you felt bad there! If you do that then I will give you a gentle bonk on the head, okay? /lh

I'm happy you like my version! Tbh I was kinda eh with the au at first, probably because it was all over my feed when it was in the height of its popularity, but having you guys helped me expand and develop this version more, and now it's fun for me (in a bittersweet way)

Having your inner feelings come out in a possibly chaotic way, gaining powers and altering forms, quick to action when something goes wrong.. and the fact that one person can appear more coherent than another is interesting. I'll probably write out a proper description of my version for the newcomers soon

#Otis and Morgana are such a sad case #granted they're all sad cases but thinking about that one hurts
