It’s been bugging me for seasons but I think it needs to start looking like 1963 or 2005 we found cool stuff in the trash now it’s an alien sometimes we regret letting kids win competition type style. Owl House Rant

Spoiler Warning!!! Ok so im sure all of you are like really upset about the owl house cancellation just as much as me but like after i binged the entire show within a 24hr time frame i can only think about like...Disney really cancelled such a well performing and wildly popular show just because it of Lumity? Like I want people to think about this real quick. Right now Disney is at war with the governor of Florida and is also planning on holding a summit for gay rights.....but they cancel THE OWL HOUSE. I mean yeah i know the cancellation was before what's been happening recently but its highly hypocritical and really fucking annoying. Anyway here's what I think could have been if Owl House is picked up after Watching and Dreaming: - An episode about Eda running the craziest University in which there are no rules but ends up needing to create rules

-The beach episode we could have gotten (if only they had time for 20 more adventures) -An episode where Luz and Amity meet the real author of Azura -An episode where Luz learns all the new titan glyphs

-The Collector comes back but is inconspicuously much much older (they're just trying to match the ages they are because he doesn't wanna be left out hijinks ensue) - An episode of what the human demon exchange program Gus runs. And that's all for now, now time to cry about this beautiful show ending

Another reason I hate the show was cut short, is that it’s going to end with so many loose threads because of it, or things that only came up once and never brought up again, or vital moments happening offscreen, and viewers who don’t know the truth will blame the people working on this show and call it bad writing. 

oh and also another hot take thats not a hot take its just a fact the mcu is american imperialist and us military complex propaganda. if you look the villains they're all people who want to change the status quo and the heros are usually people who want to keep the status quo. (which is a pretty cheeky way to spit in the face of civil rights revolutionaries. this doesnt have any solid evidence im just pointing out a pattern) (btw im not counting civil war for this one because tony stark in the mcu is pure military and billionaire propaganda and the sovika accords are basically stripping the rights away from minorities and is pro government surveillance and the russo brothers basically admitted to changing the script to make the audience more 50/50 split between teams (both teams were wrong btw. perish) so if you're on team iron man, congrats you're probably not immune to propaganda. or u dont understand the implications of making minorities like the mutants give up their privacy or just dont care which uh okay)

yeah that? if youre using military stuff in ur live action movie and need the military to fund it, they need to approve it. its all propaganda folks 😭😭 "Chances are if a film or TV Show is using military equipment in the show, the show is being partially funded by the Pentagon and other branches of the Department of Defense. Tldr.

I literally hate Disney +. How dare they take off Diary of a future president. It literally has such good Hispanic and lgbtq+ rep. I relate to both Bobby and Elena cause I was around Elena’s age when it started and barely older than Bobby when it ended. I will never forgive them for removing this beautiful show.

why the fuck is disney announcing 40 brand new phineas and ferb episodes ??? they cancel the owl house for bullshit reasons, but then come back to an old(er) disney classic that already ended years ago and already has a bunch of seasons. if anything they should revive Milo Murphy's Law, which is within the P&F universe and got cancelled too early

i love phineas and ferb and it's an important part of my childhood but come one. leave it alone. it had its time to shine and had more than enough episodes. this is clearly a nostalgia bait. how about you invest in the new amazing shows that you keep cancelling? i just can't be happy about a P&F revival when the owl house and milo murphy's law got cut short (alongside other shows)

phineas & ferb had a whole emotional ending with the characters growing up and going their own way to follow their dreams. and now suddenly we're coming back to them being kids in the summer building stuff?? it just doesn't feel right. unless the episodes will be of them as teens/young adults in their college years but that doesn't make sense and it wouldn't be the same show at all

2 new full seasons of phineas and ferb (making it 6 seasons total) but you can't even give the owl house, one of the most popular recent disney shows (if not THE most popular), a proper third season. this is a joke
