⛔ Swearing, drinking, car accidents ⛔
Here is the promised and very spontaneous FF! This time it's about Dan and a really sad idea I had a while ago.
The song this FF got inspired by is a link on Dans profile and looking at the lyrics I couldn't help but to think about a sad, drunk Dan listening to this on his way home after he was stood up by Jessy, right before the accident. Please don't kill me😬
I hope you like it!
Have a great day or evening depending on whenever you see this<3
PS: I'm still nervous about posting FF😅😬
PPS : here is the song: Snuff- Slipknot: https://youtu.be/W9y8aUi3qFY
------------------------------------------------------------
Angels Lie To Keep Control
My view is blurred, the too bright light annoys me to the core and I feel myself fuming on the inside. Who likes this place anyway? She does...right.
I throw some money on the table and stand up, the people beside me already stood up 10 minutes ago, probably because of me. I couldn't care less. I stumble to my car, the whiskey here kicks harder than the one Phil has in the Aurora. Shit I almost fell, fucking stair. I fumble with the stupid keys in my leather jacket and almost curse out loud but then I manage to get a grip on the key and I can open my car. It's even colder on the inside: "Fucking bullshit." I slur and start the car, I'm more than capable of driving home. If I can drink it, I can take it. I begin to drive and I feel at least a little bit better, a little bit of freedom. She stood me up, I wasn't the one she wants after all. Or maybe she decided that Richy is a better man for her, I can't blame her but really? Richard 'Richy' Rogers? Him of all people? I like the little guy but Jessy has terrible taste. The guy's a workaholic, not to mention without any customers but she knows that already, I mean she works there. The radio plays my favorite song I notice as I get pulled out of my thoughts because of a curve I managed to see in time. What is happening to the lot of us? Cleo becomes unreliable, TommyBoy becomes even more than just a wimp, Lilly looses every bit of selfcontrol and Jessy seems to loose her appreciation. Goddamn I get a headache!
"I only wish you weren't my friend.
Then I could hurt you in the end
I never claimed to be a saint
Ooh, my own was banished long ago
It took the death of hope to let you go..." I sing along and open a window to feel even more free. Fucking coincidence that this song is playing at a time like this! Does she even know how long I waited for her? Did she even read my messages? Has she said 'yes' to me to keep me quiet? Fuck!
I turn on the headlights to see better through the dark, the streetlights of Duskwood are a damn joke! I listen to the song as the music gets louder and I move my head to it, my hands are strongly wrapped around the steering wheel and I close my eyes for a second. The world is blurry as I open them again and I let out a chocked scream before I notice another curve but this time it's too late I loose control of the car and I get thrown around. My grip on the steering wheel disappears and the only thing keeping me in place is the seat belt. I feel pain, the last thing I hear is the song slowly coming to an end....it fits very well especially her...
"Angels lie to keep control
Ooh, my love was punished long ago
If you still care don't ever let me know..."

WILL POWER
Tumblr media
#SUPERCHARGING your will power.
1. Don't throw your sweets out. 2.swill a surgery drink. 3. Avoid multiple resolutions 4. Control your environment 5. Use mindfulness & meditation.
if we believe that using our will power is energizing rather than draining, it is!.
#charge  #selfcontrol  #mindfullness   #meditation  #lifepurpose   #passion
nothing in life is worth while, unless you take risk. there is no passion to be found when playing small or settling for a life that's less than the one your capable of living, make sure you have something to fall back on, if i am going to fall, i don't want to fall backwards, i want to fall forward to see what i am falling into, do what you feel passionate about, take chances and don't be afraid to fail, don't be afraid to think outside the box, without consistency you will never finish. you will fail at some point in life, you will loose, and you will suck at something, if you don't fail your not trying! to get something you never had, you have to do something you never did. get out there and give it everything you got, weather its your time, talent , or prayers, what are you planning on doing with what you have, not financial power, or wealth , but your gift of life, some have patience, gift of long suffering, kindness, love, what are you going to do with what you have. its best to figure out where your going, life will never be a straight path, at least have an idea., the faith you have will define you, never be discouraged never hold back, be open to people and ideas, give everything you got, and when you fall in life! fall forward!

Tips for Doing Online Classes
I know a lot of us have had our schools switched to an online format so here are some tips to succeed in online classes! I’ve taken a few courses online before all of this but I’m still figuring things out, so if you have any more tips please comment them so I can add them to the list!
Use a system to keep track of due dates and other important info
I would keep using your planner or bullet journal if you already use one, and if you don’t already have a system now is the perfect time to set something up! There are a lot of tutorials and ideas out there on how to turn a simple notebook into a useful productivity system that could save your grades
Check your email (and any sites where class info would be updated) regularly
If you need have a hard time remembering to check, you could try setting reminders on your phone. I recommend checking email 2x per day (more often on important days where there might be more updates, like around finals and such) since then you’ll get all the info you need without constantly worrying about it
Don’t be afraid to reach out and email your professor for help. Just because you’re not physically in the same room as them doesn’t mean they aren’t there for you!
Work at a specific “school” space if possible
For example, working at a desk or table instead of in bed can be really helpful in being productive and feeling more normal
If you’re the kind of person —like me— who thrives with a bit more structure, create a daily routine for yourself
This could be as detailed or vague as you want it to be, but just having a general plan can be really useful in keeping yourself on track and getting everything done each day. I’ll make some more posts about this soon if you need help with this!
Figure out if you work best with taking notes online or on paper, and keep doing that even for the online classes
If you know you like taking notes in a physical notebook, then keep doing that! It can feel like you should just take notes online since the classes are online, but you really don’t have to! Stick with whatever systems work best for you. This also goes for other things like physical books vs. ebooks, Quizlet flashcard sets vs. paper flashcards, etc.
Work on school-related tasks for a minimum amount of time per day
I like setting 3 hours as the daily minimum for me to work on schoolwork, since it’s not an intimidating amount of time for me but also doesn’t feel overwhelming. Plus you can always keep working if needed! This can also vary depending on how old you are, since people who are in middle school or high school might need less time to work on schoolwork than college students, it all just depends on you and your workload
While working on schoolwork (especially while watching video lectures) put your phone away and stay off social media on your computer
There are a bunch of apps and browser extensions to help you block certain sites while on your computer (I use the Chrome extension StayFocusd or the app SelfControl) and I definitely recommend using an app like Forest for your phone if you have a hard time staying off of it
Try to do submit of your assignments and exams at least an hour ahead of time (ideally more, give yourself as much time as possible!) in case you have tech issues
If you’re having a hard time understanding a concept, try to find other resources to help you (online tutor, Khan Academy, YouTube, etc.)
Make time to take care of your mental health (meditate, journal, etc.) as well as your physical health (yoga, dancing, go for walks, etc.)
Ensure that both of these important aspects of health are addressed every day, even if it’s something small
Let me know if you want me to elaborate on any of these for a future post! I’d love to make more content about online classes since so many of us are in similar situations
What have you found to be helpful with taking online classes?

Hii :) this is my first fanfiction ever so I'm really nervous to post it but I love Hange and I love this idea so here we are😅
I'm sorry for any mistakes. English is not my first language so be gentle.
I'm open to critism and tips on how I can improve.😊
Thank you for reading and I hope you like it.😊
Hange x f!reader
Sleepless
Sleep. You really needed it but with so much paperwork on your desk, you didn’t had time for that in the last few days and it was clearly showing. Not only did your partner commented on it but a few of your friends did too. Even Levi said that you looked like a walking corpse and that coming from mister insomnia was not a good sight.
With a light shake of your head you tried to focus on your work again but your mind had other plans. Not sleeping for roughly three days meant also no cuddling with Hange. You didn’t even saw them for more then a few minutes every day because you both had always something to do. It was getting frustating and you missed them. You couldn’t even kiss them in the mess hall where you had your meals together because nobody knows about your relationship yet.
Hange confessed a few month ago and you coudn’t have been happier. You had a crush on them from the first time you laid eyes on them and how could you not? They are everything you ever wanted and more. So when they sat in front of you that day and pouring their heart out, all you could do was stare at them, thinking that this had to be a dream. As you didn’t answer them, they started apologyzing but before they could say one more word, your lips were already on theirs, knocking them right out of their chair and onto the ground. Both of you laughing like crazy.
You smiled at the memory and decided that it was enough, you needed sleep and you needed Hange to cuddle and kiss you. The chair creaked and scratched over the floor as you stood up and started stretching. Like always when you were doing paperwork time flew by and you realized that the sun was already replaced by the moon. You quickly went to Erwins office to give him the papers you’ve already completed. You knock lightly on his door not sure if he is already asleep but soon you heard his voice saying: “Come in”. As you open the door he look's up from his desk and says:”Ah hello captain, what can I do for you?” “I have finished most of the papers, Commander and just wantetd to bring them to you and tell you that the rest will follow tomorrow.” You hand him the papers and he nods in approval. “Thank you, Captain. Can I give you some advice? Don’t overwork youreslf. I know being a Captain is not easy and really much work but you are doing good, so try to step back a little and go to sleep. That’s an order. Levi is right you look like the walking dead." You are touched and a bit hurt by his words. Do you really look that bad? You thank him and quikly left his room to go and search for your lover.
Hange. Your sleep deprieved brain can only think about one name. Bearly keeping you on your feet. Then you hear a laugh and a voice that you could pinpoint over thousands of others. Hange. It's like you are on autopilot just following the angelic sound that is their voice. Your legs bring you into the mess hall where your lover, Levi, his squad, Miche and Nanaba are sitting at a big table.
Your eyes were glued to the crazy scientist telling a story about how they catched their first titan and that is the point where the little bit of selfcontrol you still had went up in flames as your brain shut down completly and your body moved on it’s own accord. Walking straight to were Hange is sitting. As soon as they see you, their whole face lit up and they open their mouth to greet you but before one word can leave their lips you already plopped down onto them and into their lap. Face buried in the croock of their neck inhaling the smell that was purley Hange. They always smelled like old books, the forest, weird chemicals and ever so faintly like flowers. As their strong arms wrap around your waist, pressing you more into their warm bodie you finally feel home, already falling asleep.
Hange:
Hange is confused and just stares at the top of your head for a second, before smiling widley and wrapping their arms around the already sleeping form that is their girlfriend. As they look back up they see in many grinning and amused faces. “Heh, surprise?” Levi furrows his eyebrows “How long?” Hange swallows: “A few...months.” “MONTHS??” Is the collective answer from the people around the table. “I can’t believe neither of you told us anything!” Nanaba says, clearly hurt. “Okay first of all shhhh!!! Don’t wake her up, she is sleeping for the first time in three days and second I’m sorry we didn’t said anything. We wanted to keep our relationship for us, just a little bit before everyone starts talking about it. You all know the kids, they are bored and just want something they can think about that has nothing to do with fighting titans and death and they love gossip, so of course they would talk about one of the captains going out with one of the section commanders. We just wanted a bit peace and quiet before that happens and to see if we work out but that worked so yay?” After Hange explained everyone sat their silently, thinking about it and they all come to the same conclousion: they are right, people would talk and they would get stares maybe even some comments and a fresh relationship didn’t need that. Petra speaks first: “We understand. You are right. Even if it hurts a bit we have to accept that this was your choice and we can’t judge you for that. We are just happy that you guys finally found eachother and that you both are happy, right?” Everyone nods and Miche ads: “And if someone is rude to the both of you we will chear you on when you end them.” Hange smiles teary “Thank you guys so much. We can talk tomorrow about it. I bet you all have questions but right now I better get this one into bed and make sure she doesn’t get up for at least 12 hours. Good Night and love you all.” They all chuckeld, nodded and said their good nights to the pair. Hange slowly stands up, carryng their sleeping lover to their room.
After cearfullly laying you down on the bed and changing your clothes from your uniform into one of their shirts Hange turns to quietly leave but a hand on their wrist and a small voice wispering “Please don’t go” stops them. They smile, step out of their clothes and slip in bed right next to their girlfriend, who is already cuddled up on them sighing contently. Hange wraps their arms around you again and can’t help the big smile that comes to their face. They kiss your temple, caress your back and think about how much they love their girl as they slowly fall asleep too.
End

Just remembered I didn't have this rant yet.
Tubbo called Tommy selfish before he exiled him and he was right. But. Tommy's selfishness was justified.
People that are only really joining the smp now probably dont quite get why tommys the "main character"
And while i cant speak for his revolutionary days I know that he gave his disks in exchange for independence. On his own. After already losing a life in the duel.
And from what I know both were his idea! Tommy lost two lives and two disks just to get lmanberg STARTED.
Then he was exiled with wilbur and had to live in hiding. Planning on getting back the country he pretty much sacrificed his most treasured possessions for. Seperated from his best friend. Only wilbur by his side.
He got technoblade involved.
He was there to witness wilbur losing it.
And he tried to talk with Wilbur! Noone ever mentions how he tries to battle against the corruption that grows in wilbur by talking to him. Imitating the way wilbur talks as best as he can.
But hes not quite as good at talking as wilbur and maybe wilbur doesnt even really want to listen to him anyways and it just becomes worse.
And theres pretty much noone there to witness it but technoblade until the festival.
And techno supports the whole corruption thing!
Tommy is pretty much completely isolated, fighting on every front. He fights against manberg, he fights against wilbur (his closest ally even at that point), he fights against dream supporting wilbur.
Then the festival happens and technos "betrayal"
And i was at that point a techno apologist. IF YOU FIND MY POSTS FROM THE FESTIVAL TIME I MADE POSTS LIKE THIS DEFENDING TECHNOBLADE HIGH AND LOW HE DID NOTHING WRONG.
But he also still killed tubbo. And noone but tommy seemed angry about that. So tommy got angry on tubbos behalf and the fucking pit happened and yada yada.
They take back lmanberg and FINALLY. All the selflessness, all the sacrifices he made payed off. He gave so much, he was dealt such a ahit card but he persevered and he did it. He couldve taken the easy way and accepted schlatts offer that one time when schlatt said he could join manberg. But nope, they took back lmanberg and everything was right.
And then techno and wilbur happened.
And every single sacrifice he made was for nothing. Less than bothing actually.
But anyways. Tommy just went through a fckin nightmare, canonically has nightmares about his insane brother and is pretty much fucked.
Everyone is busy with rebuilding and all but now. Now he needs to be selfish. Because hes given a lot and has nothing but trauma to show for it, so before he goes back to serving lmanberg he will be selfish and get his disks back to earn back some of his solid footing. Some ground to stand on. He indulges the stupid ideas he has more as a form of selfcare. And thus accidentally sets Georges house on fire. Not a big deal. Except that dream does make a big deal out of it.
And then the whole pre exile fiasco starts
And people often criticise that he didnt just behave for a few days but honestly? Can you blame him??? The kid has been stuck in a ravine for what mustve been months lorewise! He was as well behaved as Tommyinnit could probably be during that time.
But that chapter shouldve been over by now and he probably didnt have any selfcontrol left and hobestly? Same. You can only be on your best behaviour for so long before you explode. And dream made sure he'd explode too! He sent him whispers that were supposed to rile him up and all. His treatment before and during exile were designed by dream to not be fair in a way that was extremely obvious to him and only him.
And once again his selfishness pre exile was selfcare. It was to better his mental health. To ground him. And dream took that form of selfcare and made it punishable to an apaling degree.
No wonder his mental health plummeted so quickly.
Now dont get me wrong. Selfishness is ok UNTIL you hurt other people with it.
But his offense was minor and dream was the whole reason it spiraled in the way it did
By all means tommy shouldnt even have been punished for it!
It probably was the first time someone actually got officially punished for grieving a house and it was an accident!
Im not 100% sure but i think the days after thr 16th his house was griefed prettyuch daily. Drem himself blew up tnt in it not even an hour after techno left lmanberg! In front of everyone! And noone batted an eye!
Tldr: going after the disks was tommys pretty harmless attempt of selfcare after pogtopia and the 16th and dream took that coping mechanism and made it punishable at the highest decree which is just really fucked up.

You're gulping hard and biting down onto your lower lip, your mouth is forming a straight line. In this moment, you don't really know if you should like your birthday present or not.
It's so goddamn difficult to behave and control your grabby hands, everything in you opposes to give Hobi the satisfaction of you losing your patience right away, just after one minute of his simple teasing.
He's not even doing his usual harsh and brutal "stage hip thrusts" that always gives you a punch of sexual desire into your abdomen, he's just rolling his pelvis forward. Okay, in a fucking sensual and sexual arousing way.
Maybe you have to add a little note for more understanding.
Right now you're sitting on a chair in the middle of the living room, it's around 11:00 p.m. on the day of your birthday. The whole room is dimmed in a dark red neon light tone. Intensifies Hoseok's sex-appeal into incredibly terrifying dimensions, you're feeling how your selfcontrol is slipping away like sand through your fingers.
At the same time, the crotch of your jeans going tighter. Every second of your Boyfriend's lap dance just letting sparse space for your hardening cock. Making your body unbearable hot and it's leaving your lower middle almost painful uncomfortable.
Just the way how the passionate and lustfilled gaze of your boyfriend lies heavy on you, wanders slowly down. From your face over your chest to the area between your legs. That what he sees down there pleases Hoseok, boost his ego and his self confidence over ten times, making his actions more bold.
Now he's standing directly over your lap, laying his hands onto your shoulders and let them glide in your neck. Interlaces his fingers there and support himself with his lower arms in your shoulders.
Rolling, no, thrusting his hips at every 'Ride it' in the refrain forward, literally face fucking you with his own growing bulge in his tight leather pants.
"Fuck, stop dancing like that or I'm going to cum in my pants.", you're cursing under your breath to yourself, these words weren't really meant for Hoseok's ears.
While you try to re-arrange your cock in your crotch through the left front pocket unnoticed, you realize that you he heard your comment very clearly. When you look up again, the cocky smirk on his lips didn't left much options for other reasons.
"Hm, like what you see?", he's asking you in a mocking tone, his hoarse voice almost dripping from satisfaction and confidence in his abilities to make you putty in no time.
"Hoseok, if you were smart you'd take this comment as a warning. You know, I don't mind a little bit teasing from you but you should know your limits. How often I still have to put you back into the place again, where you belong to? Hm? Do you really want to force me to punish you on my birthday? Would you be proud of that?"
Hoseok chuckles a bit from your warning. God, sometimes it annoys you that your boyfriend is so damn bratty, literally tempting you every single day. He's way too curious for the varities of your punishments, likes it, to test his limits at least once a week.
"Well, I'm proud of the fact to make you horny and desperate like a buck in mating season. Wait... I have to correct myself, you look like a desperate bunny that is needy for a cock. Are you sure that you're dominant? You look more like a Switch right now who needs a cock in his ass reall-"
"Hoseok, what did you say?"
"I'm just honest with my Master", snickers your Boyfriend, rolling his hips now even more seductivly to the rythm, just waiting for the moment when you lose your temper and snap back at him. Make him sorry for his disrespectful words.
Maybe he's just absolutely masochistic and don't want to admit it. But you thought about this possibility pretty frequently in the last weeks, especially when you whip the insides his thighs with a riding crop and he started to moan in pain but also very much in pleasure. Plus the way how his hard cock twitch by every hit and started to leak even more with precum.
Hm, seems like pain as a punishment doesn't work with Hoseok but edging, ruined orgasm and overstimulation also offers a good option to make sure that he knows his position. The longer you think about it, the more you like this idea and he's giving you the perfect situation to try this out.
"Hoseok, you will be very, very sorry for this rude comment. So sorry that you'll end up crying and begging", you growls and grabs with one hand his wrists from your neck and squeezing with your other hand his clothed bulge, making him mewl and stuttering with his movements.
Maybe your birthday isn't ruined, there is a possibility that it could get better than you thought.

ABC Challenge ~ Jihan O is for Obedient
Warning: smut
"You sure you don't wanna come along? I'm sure it would be fun." Jeonghan asked the younger again, who was sitting on the couch, watching a movie. "Yes, i'm sure. We both know it'll end up with you leaving with some random guy, probably within the first ten minutes. No offence by the way. Next time, okay?" Jeonghan laughed, "it would be time for you to get laid again, Soon. But sure, next time. See you probably tomorrow?" The older said, sliding his phone in to his jacket. "Ya, see you tomorrow." Soonyoung answered, as Jeonghan left their appartment, going to one of his favorite clubs.
"Hey, Jun!" Jeonghan greeted the bartender, sitting down. "Jeonghan, long time no see. The usual?" He chuckled, as it was only a couple of days ago since they had seen each other. "You know it." He said as he slid his card towards Jun. Any plans?" The bartender asked, making Jeonghan's drink ready. "The usual." He chuckled. "Damn, how have you not been with every guy in this city yet?" Jeonghan shrugged, "its not like im just sleeping with anyone. They atleast have to be intresting. And that already filters out like half of the guys in this damned city." Jun laughed, passing Jeonghan his drink, an extra shot on the side.
After a while of chatting, more people had come, making Jun unavailable to talk to. Jeonghan was playing around with his glass, waiting for a refill. He suddenly felt someone presence beside him. Looking to his side, he saw a very handsome guy, his hair was pich black and eyes seemed to be cacaobrown. "Hey, can I buy you a drink?" Jeonghan bit down on his bottom lip, checking out the guy. "Sure." Jeonghan smirked, "hey, Jun! A refill please, and he'll have what i'm having." The guy sat down, facing Jeonghan. "I haven't seen you around before?" The other nodded, "that's because i'm not from here." That must have been the most sexy accent Jeonghan had ever heared in his entire life. "British?" Jeonghan handed a drink to to guy, sipping from his own. "That obvious?" He furrowed his eyebrows as he downed the drink in almost one go. "Not very common here. So what brings you here? I'm Jeonghan, by the way." He said as he reached out his hand, "Joshua. And my brother and I wanted to have some fun, so we decided to go away for a few weeks." Jeonghan looked suprised, "so you go to Korea for a few weeks?" Joshua nodded, "it was Jisoo's idea."
After a couple of more drinks, the two were already down each others throat. "Do you want to come back to my place?" Jeonghan softly bit down on Joshua's bottom lip, making the younger escape a moan. "You want to book a room for that?" A thick, British accent spoke, but it didn't come from Joshua. Jeonghan's eyes widened as he looked at the man that approached them. Where the accent, the eyes and the lips looked the same, his hair was the complete opposite from Joshua's black hair. It was white, white as snow. "Jeonghan, this is Jisoo, my brother. Jisoo, this is Jeonghan." Joshua said as he got up from his seat, ready to leave. "Nice to meet you, Jeonghan. And what exactly are you planning on doing with Joshua?" Jeonghan blinked a couple of times, still not believing the view in front of him. "I uhm-, We-, I.." Joshua hit Jisoo on his shoulder, "leave him alone, you're making him nervous." Joshua laughed, looking at Jeonghan. "Are you good enough for him?" Jeonghan never felt this cornered in his life before, he wanted to run but knew Jisoo wouldn't let him go. "I? I think so?" He stuttered, not even daring to look in to the other's eyes. "You don't sound so sure. Hey, its my brother we're talking about. Only the best of the best gets to fuck him." Jisoo put his hand against Jeonghan's chin, looking in to his eyes. "So, tell me. Or better, show me." He comanded, moving their faces closer. Jeonghan tried to look at Joshua, but Jisoo's grip was too strong. Jisoo smacked his lips against Jeonghan's, moving their lips aggresively against each other, Jeonghan first desperately wanted to part but soon got used to the somewhat familiar lips against his. "You are a good kisser, I'll give you that." Jisoo said, sliding his thumb over Jeonghan's bottom lip. "What do you say about we make it a party for three?" Jeonghan's cheeks turned a bright red, "but.. You are brothers?" Ji shrugged, "not a problem for me. Is it for you, Josh?" Josh shook his head, playing with Jeonghan's hair. "Seems like its up to you, Jeonghan." Jeonghan bit his bottom lip nervously. Both guys were very handsome, and damn, he was in need for a good night, he just never thought it would be a threesome, with twins for that matter. "Fine, i'm in. We can get a taxi to my place." The twins shared a look, leading the older outside to get a taxi for the three of them. Jeonghan sat between the two, still feeling slightly nervous. Jisoo kissed Jeonghan's neck, leaving small hickeys, while Joshua was exploring Jeonghan's mouth. Little moans escaped Jeonghan's lips, making Joshua smile in to the kiss.  The taxi stopped, "we're here." Jeonghan said, catching his breath as they got out and Jisoo paid the man behind the wheel. Jeonghan unlocked the door, it was dark, meaning Soonyoung had probably gone off to some friends after all.
When they had finally moved to Jeonghan's bedroom, Jisoo was quick to throw Jeonghan on the bed, receiving a groan from the older. "You have no selfcontrol." Joshua complained as he undressed himself, as Jisoo undressed himself and Jeonghan. Joshua joined the two on the bed, Jeonghan in the middle, his member already hard. Jisoo kissed Jeonghan roughly, as he motioned at Joshua to come closer. He slowly pushed Jeonghan away, as he pressed his lips against Joshua's. "Fuck." Jeonghan moaned below the two who were making out above him. Jisoo chuckled, "time to work on you. Its your party after all. Shu, destroy his mouth, will you?" Ji ordered as he moved himself down. Joshua had moved himself in a sitting position above Jeonghan, moving his dick in to his mouth, Jeonghan moaning as he was suprised by Joshua's action, as well as suddenly feeling Jisoo working his tongue on his rim. "You okay?" Joshua asked as he looked down, meeting Jeonghan's eyes. Jeonghan slowly nodded, arching his back to meet Jisoo's tongue. Joshua started moving his hips back and forth, dick disappearing in Jeonghan's warm, wet mouth. Jisoo worked wonders with his tongue, licking and sucking around Jeonghan's hole. "M-more.." Jeonghan mumbled against Joshua's dick. "Needy." Jisoo chuckled, moving two fingers inside, making Jeonghan moan hard. Jeonghan's dick twitched, desperate to get touched. "Josh, will you give him some pleasure as well?" Jisoo asked as he had added a third finger. "Can you keep sucking if I go down to your dick?" Joshua asked as he pulled his dick away for Jeonghan to answer, "uh, y-yes." Jeonghan answered. Joshua turned himself around, bending down to take Jeonghan's dick in his mouth, as Jeonghan took Joshua's back in his mouth. The room was heated and filled with loud moans, and even screams from Jeonghan. Jisoo quickly moved to put a condom around himself, thrusting in to Jeonghan without warning, making him almost choke on Joshua's dick. "Ay, Ji. Carefull with him." Joshua mumbled. Jisoo chuckled, "he's such a little slut for our dicks. Aren't you, Jeonghan?" Jisoo asked, moving slowly back and forth. Jeonghan answered with a moan, "I didn't hear you." Jisoo said as he thrusted in to Jeonghan hard, immedeatly hitting his gspot repeatedly. "Y-yes I am!" Jeonghan screamed as he came in to Joshua's mouth. Joshua sat up, still facing Jisoo. "How does he taste?" Jisoo asked curious. "Sweet." Joshua smiled, he hadn't swallowed yet, licking around his lips. "Let me have a taste." Jisoo claimed as he leaned forward, kissing his brother again. "Ah, you taste so good, Jeonghan." Jeonghan moaned, still sucking on Joshua's dick. "You wanna taste us?" Jisoo asked, pulling out of Jeonghan, getting rid of his condom, moving next to Joshua, who had turned around again. "Yes, yes please." Jeonghan begged. Both guys gave a few strokes on their dicks as they both spilled over Jeonghan's mouth. Jeonghan licked around his lips, tasting the cum from the two. Both leaned down, putting their lips against Jeonghan's, sharing a kiss all together. Jeonghan was exhausted, still trying to catch his breath. "You did so well. Are you hurt?" Joshua asked as he left a kiss on Jeonghan's forehead. "Just a little sore." He whispered. "Slut needs to be cleaned up." Jisoo grinned and got up, looking for the bathroom to get a wet cloth. "Thank you." Jeonghan said as he had almost fallen asleep already. Joshua made sure he was clean and helped Jeonghan put his boxers on. As did both of the twins.
The next morning, Jeonghan woke up, feeling sore. He was cuddled up to Joshua, who had his arms lazily around him, as Jisoo laid on the side of the bed. Jeonghan carefully got up from the bed, trying not to wake them up as he quietly walked in to the kitchen, making some coffee. "Hey Soon, where were you last night?" He asked as he sat across from the other. Soon laughed softly, "in bed, trying to watch a movie." Jeonghan's eyes grew big, "I thought you were out." He mumbled, sipping from his coffee. "Its fine, glad you had fun." Soon finished with a laugh. Joshua walked in to the kitchen, greeting Jeonghan with a soft kiss on his cheek. "You feeling okay?" He asked. Jeonghan smiled, nodding. "Yes, I'm fine." Yet, his voice was a bit hoarse. "I made coffee, you can get some if you want." Joshua smiled politely as he got a cup from the counter as Jisoo walked in. Jisoo kissed Jeonghan on the lips, "next week again? Josh could top you. Maybe your friend wants to join?" He asked as he winked at Soonyoung, who's jaw was almost at the ground, as Jeonghan could only blush in response.

(Not) A Hero
An Avengers Fanfic where Civil War ended on a much happier note and Infinity War is just a distant nightmare.
Chapter 1 - Chapter 3
C52 curled up on the floor because her massive frame did not fit into your bed. You stroking her hair, soft touches and mumbled words, calming her down.
Thunder cracking around you, a low sound for you, terribly loud in C’s ears.
B’s eyes are locked on you, glowing in the dark of the room you share today.
He does not speak, but you can feel his wariness without him having to say it out loud.
The funny thing is, you realize now, that you never spoke about it. He never asked, you never answered. But you still trust each other with your life, now maybe more than then.
You’re sitting in a chair, a thick blanket draped over you. The fabric is cool on your skin and you can see a hole in it where an IV is stuck in your arm. The liquid has a faint blue color and burns it’s way through your body, washing away the time.
You never got far with pondering your thoughts then, you remember now, just know that this liquid managed to make you forget things. Everything but the basic things. Selfcontrol. Breathing. That one Yoga Pose someone thought you when you got there.
But when exactly did you get into nightleaf?
When you left with B, all files had been destroyed as safety measures. It was hard enough finding the trail that led to C. Maybe you had been from an orphanage as well, but if you had gotten there as a teenager…
That made just too many years you’d never get back.
“Hey, here you are…” You jump at the voice and turn, steading yourself on the thick railing.
Clint is smiling at you. “Everyone’s having dinner and no one wanted to come up here, so they sent me.”
“Afraid of the height or afraid of me?” You ask and he looks at the skyline.
“Well, unless you’re threatening to throw them over the edge it must be the height. You’re coming? Steve made Spaghetti. The good kind.”
“I’m not that hungry,” you answer truthfully.
“Yeah, interview’s can do that to you,” Clint says, “Everhart has the habit of chewing you up until you’re not even sure about your own opinion. There’s a reason I always hide in the vents when she’s around.”
You laugh at that. Can’t help yourself.
“Before I come down... I wanted to ask you how that discussion with Tony worked today. Did you get the TV?”
“Oh, you heard that? Well, he said I can have it if I move in, so I reminded him that the kids use my room to hang out when they need some alone time.”
“Did that work?”
“Absolutely. Now you just need to remind them to use the TV once in a while to make my lie sound believable.”
“Oh, they will definitely use it, don’t worry about that.” You laugh, look down at the city one last time and get up from the floor. “You know what? Some spaghetti won’t hurt, I think.”
“I agree. But you should hurry, Thor’s around and you know how hungry he gets.”
Maybe you’re just stressing over nothing, you think as you step into the elevator next to Clint. You haven’t said anything she could use against you. And no one believes that kind of gossip anyway, right?
-
Two days later you’ve almost forgotten the interview.
You get up early for a morning run. You’ve started just at the same time as Sam and Steve, but by now you can barely make out Sam in the distance and you have no idea where Steve has run off to.
By now you’re so used to it that you have no problem with stopping when you feel like, picking up a cup of coffee and the newspaper. You stop to buy the Daily Bugle as well, like you’ve done the days before. You somewhat hope that this will be a false alarm as well. You could use another day to prepare yourself mentally for the dreaded interview.
But you can read it there, right on the front page.
“Avengers uncovered. Exclusive insight on the mother of two heroes.”
You throw your coffee in the trash and flip through the pages until you find it. Panic settles in and you have to find the nearest bench to sit and calm down, before you can read it.
It starts out okay, but the farther you read, the worse you feel. You can’t pinpoint it, but the way she writes out your answers it feels like she’s understood you wrong. Deliberately.
And then it ends abruptly and you don’t know how, but she’s managed to convey the fact that you’ve stood up and left. But not like you’re defending yourself, more like you’re running away from questions you should have answered.
And to top it off, she wrote an end note that makes you freeze with fear.
“To conclude it, there’s much we still don’t know about Y/N. How long has she been captured at nightleaf lab? And has she really been captured or rather employed? With her unwilling to stand up for questioning, we can only assume. Loving mother or supervisor? An undercover hero or a failed experiment? We can only hope that time will tell.”
You stare at those questions, only able to answer the last two.
You sit there for a full two minutes until you realize that you’re not the only one who has access to this paper now. And there’s a tower full of people you don’t want to have access to this.
You call Friday on your phone on your way back.
“Is the Daily Bugle accessible via internet?”
“Affirmative.”
“Please block it. I can’t have anyone in the tower read that.”
“I can block the site, but the paper will still be available to buy.”
“Can’t help that,” you sigh, “Just block it please.”
Just as you end the call, you get a message from C.
You’re hesitant to open it, but let out a breath of relief as you read it anyway.
“Can you please join the training session today? I’ve tried it without you for a few times now, but always need medication. Don’t want to use that for a change.”
“Coming,” you write back and step into the elevator.

Can Money Buy You Happiness Argumentative Essay
Can Money Buy You Happiness Argumentative Essay Anyone who uses a ghostwriter to create their writing assignments is in clear violation of those policies. As I talked about there, I even have two youngsters in high school, and every of them was required to sign an settlement that specifically addressed this and a variety of other matters, corresponding to plagiarism. Furthermore, I was required to sign the doc as nicely to point that I additionally had learn and understood the policies. Turnitin is a plagiarism detector that is net-based mostly. It was created for instructional functions by iParadigms LLC in 1997 – which makes it even older than we thought. If you're employed for yourself, you should take into consideration charging wherever from $15.00 per web page to $40.00 per web page, relying upon quite a lot of factors discussed below. Over time, as you acquire extra experience within the business, it is possible for you to better value projects so you receive a good wage. What ways do you utilize to speed up the paper writing process? This received’t all the time be potential, however typically your professor might be willing to give you suggestions earlier than you flip the paper in, especially if it’s a time period paper or capstone project. Professors often build this suggestions into the assignment by setting separate due dates for a proposal, a draft, and a final model. The basic idea behind Turnitin was to verify for matching textual content that isn't authentic and is in any way plagiarized. It will identify the sources and then the hammer of justice can be delivered upon the wrongdoer. Thumbs up for them, though; as a result of whether we prefer it or not, it was created for the good thing about students. Share them in the comments under, or discuss them within the College Info Geek Community. If your college offers classes particularly geared to improve your writing, do yourself a favor and take a least one. Strong writing expertise are all the time a benefit, each in faculty and beyond. A productivity killer.Adding citations is the worst, particularly whenever you just spent hours writing a paper and are so over it. If you don’t want to spend further hours paging via some arcane fashion manual, do yourself a favor and use a quotation administration/generation device. It was to assist them enhance their own writing, without copy-pasting one thing off the Internet. Single spaced, 3000 phrases yields about 6 pages, while double spacing produces round 12 pages. Depending on your word processor and preferences the web page count could range barely, but with typical margins and 12 point Arial or Times New Roman font you need to expect an analogous number of pages. Try our straightforward to use online word depend tool to quickly count characters, words, paragraphs and pages all in real time. The reply to this question will, after all, differ depending upon whether or not you work for yourself or a company. Because after procrastination, the greatest impediment to writing a paper rapidly is distraction. If you don’t have an environment the place you possibly can focus, you’ll waste hours leaping backwards and forwards between the paper and whatever distractions come your method. The flat outline works because it mirrors the writing course of. For instance, when writing this text I placed on Muse’s The 2nd Law. You higher imagine I felt prepared to beat the world with that within the background. If you’re in search of a killer pre-made collection of examine music, have a look at Thomas’s Ultimate Study Music Playlist. If you want the internet to write down (perhaps you’re writing in Google Docs, for instance), then you'll be able to set up an app similar to Freedom or SelfControl to dam distracting sites. Frankly, some topics don’t want 7 pages–5 is lots. If you attempt to stretch it out, you might find yourself diluting your argument. If you don’t discover it distracting, then I suggest utilizing music that can get you within the zone to write down. I even have a couple of albums on rotation that get me right into a mode of writing move. A high school or a university will usually have to purchase a license to make use of the web site. Turnitin doesn’t catch plagiarized ideas – it solely catches strings of similar texts. But even if they don’t, it never hurts to ask for suggestions. Knowing this, why would you ever write greater than you need to? It’s not just a waste of time or effort; it could even be counterproductive. Wrong.Every professor I had in college advised me that they wouldalwaysprefer a good 5-page paper over an okay 7-web page paper.

One spot, all the fun | WangXian
A/N: heeeeey~ watch me writing for Mo Dao Zu Shi again even though I haven't finished my prompts ahahahahaha... ah. I hope you enjoy this! I feel like I didn't make justice to own my idea 😭 but I hope you all like it!
Summary: Lan Zhan is the subject of Wei Ying's fingers even on the most intimate moments, so he thinks it's time to show Wei Ying a lesson.
Mentions of sex, but nothing too nsfw
Words: 2+k
"How was that, Lan Zhan?"
Lan Zhan wanted to sweep that smirk off Wei Ying's mouth, but he could barely move with the leftover tingles spreading from his hips all the way up to his ribs. His bare body twitching slightly as he tried to regain his breath after that ruthless tickle attack from his lover.
Wei Ying, on the other hand, was smiling wildly, happy with the mess his husband had become after just a few post-coital tickling.
He really didn't mean to tickle him, but when both of them had reached their climax after a heated sexual intercourse morning, Wei Ying's fingers started to carelessly caress around Lan Zhan's body, feeling those tights muscles under the smooth skin, following those scars at his back and the burn at his chest.
Lan Zhan was breathing heavily into Wei Ying's neck as he came back to his senses from his orgasm, his body still highlighted by sensations, so, when he felt Wei Ying's fingers lightly touching his ribs as they came back from roaming around his back, he couldn't help but let out a wholeheartedly laugh, the sensation tickling him just as much as a harsh squeeze, (which he knew very well thanks to Wei Ying). It made him jump away, falling off Wei Ying and into the bed on his back.
Wei Ying beamed at such reaction and before Lan Zhan could stop him, he was straddling him, digging his fingers into the spaces between Lan Zhan's ribs and claiming that 'he didn't know one could be more ticklish after an orgasm!'
Lan Zhan had the feeling that he, somehow, did know about it.
"How was it, Lan Zhan? How was it?" He asked again, poking Lan Zhan on his ribs, making him jump and let out a strangled sound.
"Awful," he firmly says, sitting up in the bed, (pushing Wei Ying off) and putting his white robes back on.
Wei Ying giggled, "c'mon, it wasn't that bad, was it?"
"Awful," Lan Zhan repeats as he turns his head to look at Wei Ying sprawled onto the bed, the morning sun showering his bare body, making his milky skin look like honey. He was smiling at him, his cheeks flushed and his forehead slightly wet with sweat. His lips plump and red after Lan Zhan bit, sucked and kissed them. Obscene white and sticky liquid drying up on his lower belly.
Lan Zhan felt his chest flutter and he acted impulsively, throwing himself on top of Wei Ying, straddling his hips and kissing his lips passionately. Wei Ying shrieked at his lover's sudden movements, but then melted under the attention, wrapping his arms around Lan Zhan's neck as the white robes, open by the top, fell on his body, making him shiver slightly with each brush of the fabrics against his skin.
Lan Zhan felt the lips captured by his stretching a bit into a smile. Satisfied hums leaving Wei Ying's mouth as Lan Zhan pulled apart to leave kisses down his neck, on those red marks he had left just a few minutes ago.
"Am I forgiven, Lan Zhan?" He let out a soft gasp when Lan Zhan bit at his earlobe.
"No," he whispered against his skin and Wei Ying frowned as he threw his head back, exposing his neck more.
"No? Then why are you-
Wei Ying gasped again when he felt the so familiar numbness at his hips, he tried to move his legs, his torso, his arms, but they were all useless. Lan Zhan had used the incantantion on him!
"Lan Zhan!" Lan Zhan lifted his head from Wei Ying's neck and he shivered. He had never seen that gleam on Lan Zhan's eyes before.
He didn't like it at all.
"Wei Ying," Lan Zhan said, grabbing Wei Ying's useless arms from around his shoulders and placing them at each side of Wei Ying's head, pinning them down, even though that was not needed.
"Lan Zhan! Why are you using the incantation?! I hate when you do this!" He growled, shaking his head, he was glad he could move his head, at least.
"Punishment."
"Punishment? For tickling you?" Lan Zhan nodded once. "C'mon, Lan Zhan, you have a beautiful laugh! And you laughed while we were doing that!"
"You made me laugh."
Wei Ying flashed him a big smile. "Well, I did, but it was not my intention to do it in the first place! Since you laughed I felt courageous!"
Lan Zhan let go of Wei Ying's arms and he looked almost satisfied to watch them stay right where he left them. He then proceeded to sit down on top of Wei Ying's thighs, barely past his manhood.
"I am going to do it."
"Do what?" Wei Ying arched an eyebrow.
"I am going to tickle you," Lan Zhan said as a matter of fact.
Fear flashed through Wei Ying's eyes momentarily, before he hid it behind that mischievous gleam of his that Lan Zhan totally loved. "I'm not even ticklish, Lan Zhan. That's why I always win the tickle fights!"
Lan Zhan raised an eyebrow almost imperceptibly, "are you not?"
Wei Ying shook his head with a smile. "You can try, Lan Zhan. You can tickle my ribs if you want, or my belly, but I will not la- fuck! Fuck, wahahahait!"
"That language is forbidden in the Cloud Recesses."
"Don't touch thehehere!" Wei Ying threw his head back, his mouth open wide, letting out helpless peals of laughter. "How did you knohohohow!"
"It is obvious," Lan Zhan said as his fingers latched onto Wei Ying's hipbones, his thumbs massaging circles against this soft path of skin, right where Wei Ying's hips meet his beautiful and toned thighs.
The muscles under Wei Ying's skin didn't flinch at the touch, nor his hips twisted or his legs kicked, all thanks to the incantation, but the lack of reaction from his very oen body made Wei Ying even more nervous, his laughter growing louder and sounding a bit more high-pitched. Still adorable to Lan Zhan.
Trying to gather enough air -and selfcontrol-, Wei Ying opened one of his tight closed eyes to look at his lover. "How- how ihihihis it obvious?" He shook his head desperately. "Oh, Lan Zhahahan, plehehease! Not thehehere!"
It wasn't obvious, Lan Zhan actually didn't have idea he would success at his first attempt. He was simply going to try all of his own spots on Wei Ying and he thought that the best way to start was from bottom to top.
He was a lucky man.
Lan Zhan didn't answer, of course, he simply ignored Wei Ying's pleads as he kept digging his thumbs into that sweet spot, mimicking the way Wei Ying likes to destroy Lan Zhan's own hips.
"Lan Zhan! Lan Zhahahahan!" Lan Zhan felt his heart doing some flips inside his chest; it was the first time he ever dared to tickle Wei Ying back, and even though there was a bit of fear for the consequences of his acts, he didn't regret any of his doings.
Especially when Wei Ying is looking as adorable as he looks now: his nose, flushing pink along with his cheeks, scrunched up at the sensation. Sweet and slightly, desperate laughter erupting out of his throat. His head shaking and tossing from side to side, trying to break free from Lan Zhan's dirty antics.
"How is it, Wei Ying?" Lan Zhan teased, his voice not sounding half as playful as Wei Ying's, but, apparently, it was enough to make him shriek as another cackle rippled through him.
"Oh my, Lan Zhahahan!" Wei Ying laughed, his face turning pinker. "Good Lan Zhahahan! Have mercy! Hahahave mercy!"
Lan Zhan decided to stop for a little to let Wei Ying catch his breath. "I am showing mercy."
"You are so mean!" Wei Ying tries to pout as he kept giggling softly. "Lan Zhan, Lan Zhan. I'm being serious right now, that's my only tickle spot," he says with a big goofy smile on his face. "Go easy on it, please! You're killing me here! Why are you even doing this?"
"I told you, this is punishment."
"And what should I do for you to stop punish me? You can't ask me to never tickle you again! I would die!" Wei Ying grinned when he noticed the shells of Lan Zhan's ears turning red.
Lan Zhan shook his head once. "Apologize."
"Apologize? For what?"
"For tickling me at every chance you have."
Wei Ying laughed, "but Lan Zhan! I only tickle you when I think it is necessary! It's your fault for not laughing!" Lan Zhan narrowed his eyes a bit before he clawed his fingers into Wei Ying's most ticklish spot. "Wait! Wahahahait! You didn't give me- ahahahaha! Lan Zhahahan!"
Lan Zhan tried to keep his lips from turning up into a smile as he watched Wei Ying laughing. Now that he was the one doing the tickling and not the one dying because of it, he noticed the appealing of it: making the person you love laugh like this with your own fingers was really something... special.
Especially because, even when he's desperately asking Lan Zhan to stop, Wei Ying looks like he is enjoying himself. Lan Zhan thought that he should've tried this before.
"Lan Zhan!" Wei Ying said through his laughter one more time before a little snort burnt in the back of his nose. "Ah! So embahahaharrassing!"
Lan Zhan's hands stilled to let Wei Ying catch another breath, but after hearing that adorable sound coming from Wei Ying, he couldn't help but giggle on his own. "O-oh my, ahahahare you laughing at me, Lan Zhan?" Wei Ying asked looking at his lover through teary eyes. "Are you having fun?"
Lan Zhan's giggle didn't last for more than two seconds, but his smile didn't fade away as he opened his mouth to talk again, "yes, I am, Wei Ying." He seemed to think about what to say next as his fingertips started to drum against Wei Ying's skin, making him giggle nervously. "I think now I understand why you like to do it so much."
"Uhuhunlike you, though, I don't have so many tickle spots to tahahake advantage of-ahahahaha!" Another wave of hysterical laughter cut his last sentence.
Lan WangJi frowned a little, "you keep teasing."
"Ahahahah, I'm sorry! I'm sohohorry for tehehehasing!" Wei Ying laughed helplessly, his head not shaking anymore, his neck a bit sore and his eyes tearing. "Plehehehease, er-gegehehehe!" Lan Zhan stopped again, his hands holding onto Wei Ying's hipbones.
"Second Master Lahahan, plehehease!" Wei Ying breathed in and out a few times until his belly was moving normally. "Lan Zhan, now that I think about it, did you know that Lan SiZhui is ticklish too?" Wei Ying giggled at the memory running inside his head. "He was so cute back then, except when he was chewing on ChenQing. He once tried to tickle me, but, really, anynone- fuck! thehehese damn hihihihihips!"
"Wei Ying, you haven't apologized," Lan Zhan said, his blunt nails scratching the soft skin, making Wei Ying howl with laughter.
Wei Ying nodded desperately, "I ahahahapologize! I'm sorry! I'm sohohorry, Er-gege!"
"Why are you apologizing, Wei Ying?"
Wei Ying was sure he could hear a smile on Lan Zhan's face, but he was too busy laughing his head off to even be able to look at him. "Fohohohor always tihihihihickling you!"
"Are you really sorry?"
"You know- ahahahaha! You know I'm no-ahahahaha-
He couldn't form coherent sentences anymore, his face beet red and his laugh becoming wheezy until no sound came from his mouth, his body shaking with silent laughter as Lan Zhan kept tickling him senseless.
After just a few more seconds, (Lan Zhan really didn't want to stop), he finally let go of Wei Ying's hips, lifting up the incantation as well for Wei Ying to curl into a little ball as he laughed tiredly.
"Y-Young Master Lahahan," Wei Ying panted. "That wahahas horrible! You are reheheally mean!"
"Are you okay?"
"I'm fihihine," he sighed, laying on his back again. "I can't believe you, Lan Zhan. You literally just tickle me while I was naked! Are you that kind of person?"
Lan Zhan really wanted to roll his eyes, but he just shook his head and brushed Wei Ying's bangs off his flushed and sweaty forehead. "It was kind of fun," Wei Ying says with a smile. "Except for the fact that you used the incantation! That was so unfair! And just so you know that I will not, by any chance, stop tickling you whenever I want to! Actually, I think I should-
Wei Ying closed his eyes as soon as Lan Zhan's lips were pressed against his in a kiss.
"It's late," Lan Zhan said when they pulled apart, heaving off of Wei Ying's body and out the bed. "I think we should take a quick bath."
Wei Ying giggled, "you just want to run away from me, but that's okay." He put his clothes on quickly, before he playfully squeezed Lan Zhan's ribs, making him jump as he walked past him towards the doors of the JingShi. "I'll ask SiZhui for water, you wait here, Er-gege," he winks once before leaving through the door.
Lan Zhan watches him walk away and, as the tingly feeling lingers on his ribs, he can't help but smile and think that maybe, just maybe, tickling is not as bad as he thought.

I have to say seeing you so inspired is making me really excited. Also every single one of your pitches makes me go GIMME. So. I can't wait to read them all. ;) BUT ALSO question: I have so many ideas (lol never thought I'd say that, I used to be so empty and idea-less) and projects I wanna work on. How do you focus on one at a time? Decide ok, this week/month/year I'm working on THIS thing? AND how do you juggle with the rest of your life (I'm in uni)? It often feels like too much...
Thank you! 😍 I’m getting some weird creative energy this year, and I’m just rolling with it at this point...
It’s taken me a while to really figure out balancing multiple WIPs, considering I’ve been working on the same novel/series for 10+ years now, and being “done” with Regardless has made me want to write everything at once. I’m always in a bit of a state of cycling through three WIPs at once, but it’s not terribly productive, as I feel like whatever progress I make in each novel is miniscule. So I try to focus on one as my muse strikes me, and go at it until it’s done or my muse moves on to something else.
I’ve decided this year, Heaven’s Tiny Daggers would be my spring/summer novel so I can get it nice and polished up to submit to Pitch Wars in October, and Haunt Your Murderers would be my fall/winter novel because the gothic atmosphere is a much better match. Those types of deadlines seem to help a ton, otherwise, I just get no writing done at all. A lot of my drive to write is just sheer force of will out of spite and bald-faced ambition, which I realize not everyone has.
If I had an answer for how to juggle life and writing, I’d be shouting it from the rooftops... To be honest, I’m a pretty horrific procrastinator, which means I get a lot less writing done than it seems.  While I was at uni for my undergrad I got zero writing done, but for my postgrad, I got ALL of the writing done, so I guess what I took from that:
I get the most ideas/strongest urge to write when I’m busy, especially if it’s doing something I’m passionate about, in places I love. I plotted out the basic concept for Haunt Your Murderers during my undergrad classes in Victoria, and I wrote the entirety of Moonage during my my year long graduate degree in Edinburgh. If my brain is nice and stimulated, it’s getting me writing more.
I have to set aside a specific time every day to write. When I was working a regular job, it would be an hour during my lunch break. Lately, it’s 1-3 hours in the evenings. Just so long as I’m in the practice of writing every day, I’m motivated to keep going.
I use an app called SelfControl that lets you turn off all your social media websites for a designated time, and it can’t be overwritten until it’s done. Usually, I’ll set it for around 3 hours and just write. I’ve recommended this to friends even just for school stuff too. It cuts out my procrastination issues.
I’m finding sprints really help get a lot out in constricted amounts of time! I’ll give myself 15 minutes to an hour-ish to write as much as I can without interruptions. It’s also a lot more fun if you can challenge a friend!
I spend a lot of time in libraries and cafes because I find it hard to write at home with so many distractions, so that’s a time where I get out specifically to write.
I want to throw it out there that none of these things are fool-proof. I, a known dumbass and fool, will often bypass many of these out of sheer stubbornness and procrastinate anyway. But I hope those tips are helpful to you and others!

“ it wouldn’t be the first time that happens. ” the reason behind all those bandages around the botanist’s arms ━hiding the teeth marks of a friend who needed to survive and whose blood he’d offer, a shrug at the idea of doing it again for someone his friend had saved, a stranger whose abilities of selfcontrol he didn’t know or trust. “ i won’t feel pain, if that worries you. all i ask is to leave a bit of blood, or, well, i will die. ”

AN ODE TO THE SEVEN SISTERS: RANGINUI & PAPATUANUKU
It was a quaint little pond, surrounded by lash green bush and flowers. It was not anything special or out of the ordinary except it was well hidden from nearby hike paths and had a lone bench facing the water. The pond almost always had ducks and geese swimming calmly and in the clear waters you could see the little fish swimming. It was a very quiet place except for the nearby noise from the creek water and the happy animals and bugs more often than not yelling out their mating calls. I called this simple non-assuming place my secret garden, there was never anybody except for the animals and it was so peaceful. I would sit there for hours watching the ducks and fish swim, listen to the birds and creek water and just enjoy the isolation. The secret garden was my escape, a place I could unplug from the world and enjoy the simple pleasures of life, like the warm wind gently brushing against my face while I watched the pond water turn pink in the sunset’s reflection. It was also a place I went to reflect and meditate so the secret garden was in essence, a sacred garden to me. One day I came to the pond, Thursday evening as usual. And there sat this old lady. She seemed to just intensely stare at the pond watching the fish and had a distant smile. The air around her was both deeply tranquil and mystical. You could sense it but it was indescribable in words. I was about to turn around figuring I’ll come some other time when I would be alone, but as I turned to leave the lady turned and gave me the most warm, radiant smile. I was mesmerized. Silently, she moved to the other end of the bench and motioned me to sit down. I hesitated at first but she turned her smile and gaze back to the pond and the ducks and fish and it was as if I was not there. Slowly, I moved and went and sat on the bench and gradually I got to my own routine…silently staring at nature. We must have been there for at least 2 hours, occasionally pointing at a cheeky duckling, but just silently enjoying each other’s company. And just like that, that’s how it started. Every Thursday evening, for about an hour, we fed the ducks and silently enjoyed this little simple beautiful pond that made us forget the world and yet ironically, reflect on the universe. Sometime the lady brought packed dinner for us and of course bread to feed the ducks and fish. We seldom talked at length, it was an understanding. The peace that came with human silence was a prize worth paying. But this lady, ever so dignified and graceful with a motherly aura and eyes aged grey with wisdom, I deeply respected and appreciated her company. This day, I went to the pond. I had a heavy heart, really needed to clear my head and find peace. I was deeply troubled by the state of the world, everywhere reports of killings by religious zealots, everywhere reports of irreversible catastrophic environmental damage, everywhere economic strife, racism, xenophobia and total disregard for welfare of helpless victims of conflict….I was getting disillusioned and loosing hope in both humanity and the world. I felt despair and frustration bordering on complete depression. I was in urgent need of peace and reassurance. As I sat there watching the water and fish feeling empty and hollow, a hand touched my left shoulder. I didn’t need to turn around to know it was my graceful wise old lady friend. I didn’t say anything or turn around as I could only master so much selfcontrol in light of the unfolding turmoil in my heart. She came around and sat next to me but did not say a word, instead handed me a piece of bread to feed the ducks. And then we sat there in silence for a few minutes. Finally, she turned to me and with her kind greying eyes that told me this was indeed an old soul, looked at me and barely whispered, “What weighs down your heart? You seem lost today, and you have the thousand yard stare…talk to me”. And I did. I just poured my heart out. All the insecurities, the fear, the anger, the frustrations and the despair. Everything, including a tear or two. She didn’t reach out to embrace me. Nor did she interrupt me while I talked and rumbled on. When I was finished, she just sat silently staring straight ahead into the setting sun over the horizon. I really appreciated that gesture because she knew I needed a moment to breath, compose my emotions so that I can be receptive to her counsel. “There must be strife so that we as souls, people, community and civilization we can grow and evolve. How will we learn to appreciate peace if we didn’t fathom the depravity of conflict? Darkness is the absence of Light and not the other way round. It is unpleasant but necessary. It is ying and yang. As we evolve through our differences we will realize the simplicity of it all. Think of religious affiliations as a particular preferred bank and the money deposited in them, as virtues. What will become clear, if we make the right choices, is that it does not matter who you bank with, what matters is the contents of the bank account, in this case, virtues. You must strive to be the light that radiates Love and compassion in this time of fear and hate. It does not matter if you are in the minority. Especially then. You must be the fish that swims up the river, better strong and alone than weak in a crowd. That is how we break the chains of fear and become a light to the world. Love begets Love.” She looked at me and smiled reassuringly. It was getting dark and the stars shimmered across the cosmos. We often star gazed together and tried to pick out the various constellations. It was one of rare things we had passion enough for to compromise the golden silence rule. She had once told me stars were there to remind us to be humble and that we are part of something bigger and grander and more beautiful. She often talked about stars like they were living beings and she enjoyed deriving life’s narratives from them. Stars, she explained, have existed eons before Earth, let alone religions, so from her perspective, the narratives better reflected the interconnectedness of the universe. She had reminded me repeatedly that true wisdom and intelligence is not knowledge acquisition, but the ability to entertain different ideas and perspectives without necessarily accepting them. For my part, my awe came from a more scientific perspective. I was star durst, and I shared that heritage with even the grandest of those beautiful things. And I was Loved as much. It was beautifully humbling. And thus it came to pass that her influence further cemented my fascination with the Creator’s grand gallery. I was still slightly troubled. So I turned and asked her, “But we seem never to learn! Two world wars, cold war with nuclear weapons and now terrorism, its endless!!” I was feeling exasperated. “Yes, but we have changed. Reflection is important, the future may seem distant and the Promised Land really far, but you have to look at how far you have come to appreciate your growth both as a person and as a civilization. The caterpillar goes through a cycle of ugly destructiveness before eventually morphing to a beautiful butterfly, a snake has to shed its skin to retain its beautiful lustre and grow, in the same way we can learn from nature and find a path of selfredemption. We can choose to blaspheme on the reality of conflict that has now been our path and take a different road. The key is not to trade Love for fear.” The night was clear except for distant clouds with a radiant full moon. I sat there in silence taking in what she had said. I turned to her as she started speaking while her eyes were totally fixed on the stars above. Her look was very distant, more so than I had seen before. “In a very different place and time, there was a people very similar to us. Same aspirations, same humour, and the same general temperament. They lived in a stunningly beautiful home called Avalon. Over the years the people in Avalon prospered and became wealthy. With time conflicts arose over spirituality. Similar to earth’s contemporary political and religious turmoil, there were violent outcomes over ideological differences. The issue when simplified, came down to two differences. One faction felt that they could progress their spiritual growth through servitude to others while others thought spirituality can only be achieved through internal focus. Things could have been fine if the ideology was left to people’s free choice. But systematically the factional conflicts infected all levels of society to the point one had to pick one side to get basic necessities and survive. Politics and institutions became infected with factionalism. Virtue and Integrity was abandoned for blind devotion and all the while society was decaying and fragmenting to a cesspool of hate and endless cycles of violence. Eventually some who were willing to compromise left for Erra, their new home among the Seven Sisters. Avalon, beautiful Avalon, was eventually totally destroyed beyond redemption. Its legendary beauty now a myth, and thus the wisdom to deeply respect Mother Nature among those from the Seven Sisters came at a price. It has since been a scar they have never forgotten. The experience, albeit tragic, was sacred to them. Those descendants in Erra and surrounding areas made it a quest to understand themselves, their purpose and how to restore harmony among themselves. However, those who felt inclined to serve others to attain spiritual insights continued so in the ancient tradition and so did the ones who focused inward. Instead of conflicts, they shared insights. Then in an ordinary event, an extra ordinary thing happened. Among them, one was born who vibrated so high in Love and universal consciousness. He was very unremarkable in physical appearance and did not have any special talents in particular. Except he understood the nature of the universe. The simplicity of it all. One needs both darkness and light. Male and Female. The Creator was both and neither, therefore Unity. And this meant that one could never fully achieve growth by either servitude alone nor pure meditation, but both. There had to be unity. Of heart and mind. Serving Others and Serving Self. Devotion and Virtue. This Unity, the wise teacher explained, leads to self-redemption because by focusing internally, one realizes and acknowledges their own imperfections and therefore they will be less inclined to be harsh on others. By forgiving and loving themselves internally, they realize everyone has flaws and struggles. This makes one more empathetic towards others and this eventually leads down a path of Love and acceptance. It is the perfect karma, by showing yourself compassion, you resonate it outwards and that in turn is automatically reflected around you as you give yourself more to the service of others. And by opening up to others to Love you despite and in spite your imperfections, you also get to experience the same towards others. Fear makes us see differences while Love makes us focus on commonalities, thus fear is the enemy of Unity, which is the nature of the Creator, who is in essence, Unconditional Love. They finally understood that the only permanent thing in life is change, that true change, starts with the person in the mirror, but the journey need not be solitary. Love begets Love. Thus it came to pass the descendants of Avalon living among the Seven Sisters in the sky came to fathom the teachings of Senanda. Their lost world represented a dark past that would forever haunt them. Avalon was a beauty to behold but no one respected Her, nor appreciated what they had in Her. Eventually She got needlessly destroyed in conflict and neglect. It is a scar that reminds them of the depths of depravity a civilization without virtue can sink to, even with perceived scientific and theological advances. They now hold their new home in Erra in sacred awe. They now know the difference between being custodians of sacred places and arrogantly assuming dominion over them. They understand Love should never be replaced by fear. They embrace their past because it has taught them to aspire to grow, inwardly and outwards while spreading compassion. Their tragedy has ultimately made them a better people. To those people, long after he was gone, their teacher Senanda came to represent the light that is compassion, wisdom and virtue, their Future, while Avalon held memories of the Past based on fear, bigotry and empty devotion. To those from the Seven Sisters, that was their Ying and Yang. Light and Dark. Senanda and Avalon. Both were equally important. Balance and Unity.” She stopped talking and fell silent once again. It had grown really dark as the clouds had completely covered the sky and it had begun drizzling. We watched the rain drops hit the pond water while the ducks swam without a care in the world. She placed her hand on me gently and pointed towards the pond. “You see the rain drops? Each drop is unique but when it hits the pond, it becomes part of a bigger existence. You are created in the image of God, you are a facet of Him/Her, unique and individual but part of the whole and very much appreciated. Like those water droplets that eventually end up forming the ocean. So are you and I and the stars and the eternal Love that is the Creator. Do not ever forget that, Noble Warrior”. I got startled, as I had never told her the actual meaning of my name. I resorted this was as good as any time to ask her name. I had only referred to her respectfully as ma’am. “I have never known your actual name….” I started but trailed off when she looked deep in my eyes and gave me a mysterious smile as if she had anticipated the question. “Malaika.”She said. And with that, she slowly got up and embraced me tightly. She then walked off without uttering another word. A beautiful wise graceful mysterious being. Full of Love and insight. I have never since seen her again. That was seven years ago. -Qareem Knight

The Influence of Grit, Goal Setting, and Social Support When Starting a Fashion Business
Authored by Valerie L McGehee
Tumblr media
Abstract
The key to surviving the first year of your new business consists of three indispensable traits: grit, goal-setting, and social support. Creative ideas are vital in the beginning steps of forming a new business, but creative minds often lack business acumen, or the organizational skillset needed to persevere. However, when grit, goal-setting, and social support are utilized as major tenets of business planning, the business has a better chance of succeeding. Changing the perspective of failure as an opportunity to learn is an important element of growth mindset in any startup.
Keywords: Grit; Goal setting; Social support; Business; Fashion
Introduction
What does it take to start a business? Not everyone has the business sense to keep their company afloat. Most creative people have great ideas that would make a thriving business, but they do not know how to run one. It is never a good idea to start a company without passion for your idea. People can go far with passion and perseverance, but it takes more than that. As a former business owner and designer of a swimwear company, I began my fashion line when I was taking MBA courses at Seton Hall University. The professors preached about what it takes to start a business, and the consistent advice was to do what you are passionate about. Passion, however, can only take you so far. Much more discipline and knowhow is needed to build a successful business and to sustain it.
Discussion
Many will say that half of all new businesses fail, but this is simply not true. From 2016 to 2017, four out of five businesses (about 80%) survived their first year [1]. According to CB Insights [2], the top five reasons startups fail are: no market need (42%), ran out of cash (29%), not the right team (23%), get outcompeted (19%), and pricing/cost issues (18%). How is it that 80% of new business owners beat these odds and 20% failed? Three factors play an integral role when it comes to motivational achievement and success: grit, goal setting, and social support. Grit is the tendency to sustain interest in and effort toward very long-term goals [3]. It can be very exciting to be in fashion school and want to embark on new designs and creations. It is those that can endure the trials and tribulations of the stress, financials, and the rollercoaster ride of the losses and successes of owning a business. However, there are two levels of grit. “On average, individuals who are gritty are more self-controlled, but the correlation between these two traits is not perfect: Some individuals are paragons of grit but not selfcontrol, and some exceptionally well-regulated individuals are not especially gritty” [4]. Furthermore, this leads to another degree of grit. We cannot discuss grit, without mentioning growth mindset. Carol Dweck [5] coined the term growth mindset, which is the belief that your abilities can be developed [6]. Part of creating a startup is failing. If one can learn from their mistakes, they can grow as an entrepreneur, as a designer, as a business owner. It is when one is overcome with frustration where they lose steam and give up. Those with a fixed mindset will fail, and those with a growth mindset will endure. Gritty entrepreneurs take smart and thought out chances. They are eager, but steady. For example, one entrepreneur may choose to develop an e-commerce and gain capital as sales increase. Another entrepreneur may throw their money into opening a brick and mortar store and discover the hard way that costs are too expensive to withstand. The entrepreneur that does their research, who is proactive, and who sets goals, will most likely make it pass their first year.
Goal setting is vital for entrepreneurs to avoid first year failure. Take the time to create a plan, whether this be an official business plan or a Gant chart that is posted in the office. “The major finding of goal setting, which is based on hundreds of studies, is that individuals who are provided with specific, difficult but attainable goals perform better than those given easy, nonspecific, or no goals at all,” [7]. When starting a fashion line, it is important to decide the direction in which the business and brand will be in six months, one year, five years, and so on. Creating a timeline of deadlines and goals for sales, bringing on team members and employees, or adding new merchandise, is essential to keeping oneself on task. It is very easy for a creative mind to expand in many directions. Keeping to one’s goals can make or break a business.
Lastly is the discussion around social support. It is so easy to forget about the people around us that support us and push us to make our dreams a reality. Surrounding oneself with the right people within the business is paramount for one’s emotional stability, especially during stressful times. Creating a company culture of like-minded support can also lead to an environment of positivity. “Social support can take various forms, including emotional support (attempts to alleviate negative affects), professional support (mentoring and guidance), and practical support (money or help with task completion)” [8]. It is necessary to have friends that support your dreams, mentors to help develop your plans, and advisors to guide your financials. It is prideful to work independently because it proves one is capable, but it is wiser to work interdependently for greater success.
Conclusion
Starting a fashion brand is exciting and can be the best time of your life. However, it is necessary to not allow yourself to be overtaken with eagerness or allow obstacles to deter you or negatively affect the momentum you once had. Learn from these trials and tribulations and grow from the failures you will inevitably face. Slow and steady wins the race. Grit, goal setting and social support is like a three-legged table. Without one of them the table will fall.
