i think the thing that makes me sad is the fact that i’ve had geralt for around 6 or 7 years now and i can’t remember ever getting the chance to write a monster hunting thread that went somewhere. you would think that a man who hunters monsters for a living would have that be his main go-to prompt. but yea, when i think about it? i genuinely think i had about 2 threads in that area and neither of them were really wanting to go into horror or magic or mystic. i love complex npcs too. but sometimes, i just wanna write geralt killing things and protecting innocent people from monsters.

as much it is fun to be dramatic about alectopause i DO think that it is fine that Alecto the Ninth is taking a few years. this is an adult fantasy/SF series that is in all likelihood 700+++ pages, not a CW show, *and* it is the last book in a series which means it has a million things to tie up and resolve. idk it might also be because I autistically hate change and don't want it to End, but until we get into GRRM territory I'm like. she + the editing process can take all the time they need, I'd so much rather wait for a good book than rush it and have it be bad yknow?

Uhhhh hi Zolu nation. Your in depth analysis and layered complexity based on love, care, friendship and devotion caught me unaware.

[ID: Four sequential drawings of Martin Blackwood from the Magnus Archives as an orange cat.
Panel 1) A closeup of Martin's face sniffing a blue bowl of steaming brown liquid.
Panel 2) Martin moves his head back from the bowl and thinks "Wow this smells nice! But how do I eat it?" Jonathan Sims, out of frame, says "It's just broth. Sorry, I don't have any proper cat food."
Panel 3) Martin looks up at Jon, now partially in frame, and tries to say "Jon, you forgot the spoon." But all that comes out is a small "mew".
Panel 4) A closeup of Martin's shocked face as the realization strikes him. He thinks internally "Crap I forgot I'm a cat!!"

Wait, if that wasn’t a call for a ceasefire what did that mean? Will it change anything?
The ICJ does not have the ability to enforce its rulings, provisional or not. They did not demand a ceasefire despite South Africa including it as a central part of their case, and instead outlined that Israel must halt their attacks on "Palestinians" (civilians) as well as ensure safety for humanitarian aid. However, since Israel has been operating under the lie that all civilian deaths are just a result of them trying to target Hamas and them being caught in the crossfire, this isn't likely to change much.
Also, Israel is led by a collection of petty monsters who will interpret this ICJ ruling, toothless as it is, an insult and will take it out on Gaza. Today might be the most violent day yet. Continue striking and keep Palestinians in your thoughts.

wow... what a season. it feels weird to say that this little 6-episode side quest, in all of the 19 seasons of d20, is one of my favorites they've ever done but it just is. it had all the stakes and humor and drama that you could possibly want, all balanced with an incredible cast of players. the table chemistry was excellent, the characters were so perfectly themselves, the TROPES were OFF THE CHARTS!
i can't quite remember the last time i finished something and ached so sharply for there to be more. i just know I'm gonna be thinking about this one for a long time
