Sorry to bug you with probably another ask about this when I know you're trying to feel better and move forward! You're a very strong and courageous person - it takes a lot to ask someone politely to remove your content from their blog and hope for that same sort of politeness to be returned in kind. I'm very sorry it wasn't and their reaction only shows what kind of a person they are.
I think it's very important that username sparkmender and risenwings who recommended the post to them also realize that they shouldn't be @'ing content to a soundwave/ravage shipper without checking to see what you or any artist is/are comfortable with either. As much as this weirdo is as fault, they are too, and their names shouldn't be left out of this. If they want to be tolerant of what is very much beastiality (because whatever if Ravage is a person, they are not real and they are always seen as a cat first) that's on them, but it's horrible of them to put that implication onto content that is not there own.
Also if they want to sit there and say "this is a free website" and "this is the fucking internet" and tag whatever on your content, then more people should be commenting on theirs (because I wouldn't reblog their ick) and calling it beastiality.
This person is also 60 years old. If they haven't grown up by now, they never will.
Oh very much very much! I already blocked the two who tagged that person in the first place (along with a couple others who I was recommended to block as well) so thank you for mentioning those two by name for others to look out for.
These type of people are very self centered and expect others to cater to their whims while refusing to extend the same courtesy to others. After my initial stressing out, I kinda realized that arguing with them isn’t going to get me anywhere and will just cause me and my followers more stress and anxiety.
I absolutely agree that generally speaking, you should always make sure the person you’re reblogging from is comfortable with the views you’re trying to push. At the end of the day, it’s my art they’re reblogging. Just because I put it on the free internet, doesn’t mean it’s not still mine. You can interpret my art however you like, but don’t ever force your views that make me uncomfortable onto my creations. Your word is not law here. When it comes to my artwork, the last word is mine.

im sorry that person is being a Creep abt ur art any normal person just sees that as cute cuddling so if it's any reassurance I feel like the basic population of transformers fans and just. People in general see that as just cuddles idk how to word it but ya. I’m honestly doing a lot better I had to sit and stress for a second and now that I’ve got a clearer head I realize it’s best to let it go and ignore the person cause I said everything I needed to say. If they wanna keep obsessing over this and being weird than it’s really none of my business.
I probably will take a little break from art and all that just cause I need to cleanse my palate, I can’t say I’m unaffected bc It has caused me a lot of distress and made me feel kinda weird about my own art, and also I have finals coming up and some personal stressors I have to deal with at home.

Who wanted clarification because I’m here to give it!! don’t worry!!
So this person (cleverthylacine, using their alt blog dontpetmeibite) reblogged one if my art pieces of two transformers characters who have been depicted to have a familial relationship (one of them having the form of a CAT) cuddling (CUDDLING. I EMPHASIZE. CUDDLING) in a position that 1) cats tend to do with their owners 2) the general fact that friends and family cuddle eachother all the time. Maybe not in that position, but again, cats will often cuddle curled up against their person’s head. The reblog referred to one of the characters (Soundwave) as being in love with the other (Ravage. The cat).
(This post. Where I also lightheartedly referred to soundwave as Ravage’s son, which made my stance on the whole thing pretty clear)
I messaged cleverthylacine on tumblr to politely ask them to take it down because saying these two characters are in love under my post made me very uncomfortable. Instead I got this reply:
They blocked me before I could reply so I messaged them on their other account and unkindly told them off. Yes, I was harsh, and called them a creep. I was angry and grossed out. The essence of it was DONT. SEXUALIZE. MY. ART.)
So yeah! There’s the context! Fellas is it sexual to HOLD YOUR CAT WHILE THEY CURL UP AGAINST YOUR HEAD AND TAKE A NAP TOGEHTER??? IS IT????????

mars! theoretical for you that's not related to anything im writing rn (<- lie). do you think ravage could potentially fit in cosmos' chest when cosmos is mass displaced to be big? and if so, how do you think being in soundwave's dock and cosmos' chest would differ?

I absolutely think ravage could fit in Cosmos’ chest! She would hate it very much, naturally, but she’d definitely fit.
Cosmos’ chest would definitely be less secure than Soundwave’s dock and she’d have to cling onto something in order to stay put (or she’d have to be strapped into the one (1) seat he has in his cockpit). She’d have enough room to be in both root mode and cassette mode so she’d be able to move around while in Cosmos’ chest. Whereas I’d say with Soundwave, she’s very secure and can only transform into root mode if she’s the only cassette in there.
Being a space shuttle, Cosmos’ armor and glass is made to be very strong and durable so Ravage is as safe in Cosmos as she’d be in Soundwave (who’s dock is formatted to be able to take a hit to protect the cassettes inside). She also has a lot more visibility to the outside in Cosmos’ chest unlike in Soundwave’s chest, where the visibility is limited to just straight ahead (Cosmos’ cockpit is rounded like he is so she has a better view of what’s going on).
Cosmos is a very careful flyer when he’s carrying a passenger, so he’s particularly gentle when he’s with Ravage. He’s had plenty of practice carrying Rumble and Frenzy (and on occasion Laserbeak and Buzzsaw) so he knows how to maneuver without disturbing his cassette passenger too bad. Doesn’t mean Ravage wont complain, though.
Ravage tears up Cosmos’ upholstery if she’s particularly unhappy with the situation. Cosmos is like “please don’t press any buttons” and she does exactly that. She’s just as bad as Rumble and Frenzy on a good day.
