I am jumping on the FnaF: SB band wagon so please take these doodles for a story concept that's still in the works.

Obligatory "pardon my camera quality." I'll post some more drawings of concepts later, but for now I'll put more under the cut if you'd like to read more, it may have some slight spoilers just fair warning :]

Story setting is in a more futuristic time, where sentient robots and animatronics aren't just exclusive to Fazbear Entertainment (though, not nearly as 'advanced') which is a big of a motive for Y/n to be currently seeking a degree in electronics (more work opportunities).

I'll be honest, I think this may turn into a "Y/n x the entire Pizzaplex (platonic)" at some point because the found familt trope has me in a choke hold and will not let go.

- Y/n is a electrician/mechanic for the Pizzaplex that works (mostly) during the nightshift. They're still going to college to finish their degree, but have enough experience to get hired on by the Pizzaplex. At first they're limited to only working on smaller items such as arcade cabniets or photo booths. Gradually they move up to animatronic care due to Fazbear being a cheap corporate entity, you know how it is.

- Y/n's phone is purposefully an old flip phone, just with slightly better tech. It takes photos and texts and calls fine, but doesn't have any other apps on it really. ((*cough*Totally not an excuse for Vanessa to gift Y/n a cute bunny themed charm*cough*))

- Vanessa in this story is not Vanny in the way you think she is ;] I have an idea, but that's for me to try and piece together :'[

- Vanessa still does her secruity gig, but with more of a "I'm not paid enough for this" energy than "I'm out for blood" energy. I honestly want Y/n and Vanessa to grow to be friends, same with the rest of the animatronic cast, but this girl deserves some comfort.

- I'd like more emphasis on the other animatronics that don't get as much love, like DJ Music Man and even the security bots. We'll still see everyone's favorite feral Moon-themed bot, but we will get there eventually.

Probs going to be OOC, but hey, that's why we write fics in the first place.

I can’t do that; which is why I’m asking you to.#also: a bunch of tags are surprised this isn’t ‘shopped #it’s the lighting. backlit by the sun (which is diffused through the water) but also forelit artificially #the artificial light - a flash pack or something - casts a hard shadow under the creatures arm #which normally wouldn’t be possible if backlit by the SUN; you’d see a less-hard/more-fragmented shadow above water #as light sources ‘compete’ in a sense - and since there aren’t any light sources which can outshine the literal sun #it looks a bit weird when the darkest shadow is being cast from any other origin point - which is what’s essentially happening here #I don’t know the mechanics of how light travels through water; but I know the effect is substantial even with relatively short distances #also: it’s been balanced and color corrected by the author of the photo - who made deliberate choices to bring out the full potential #so it’s not like it’s a fresh and untouched export #but the kind of ‘tacked on’ appearance of the creature is a result of the lighting conditions within the image
