Chainsaw Man has always been about power and control and a guy who has been stripped of his childhood and teenage years to then be constantly used and manipulated, forced to become hypersexual after being groomed and sexually assaulted, and losing the one bit of normalcy there's left in him.
Denji has no control over both his body and decisions and instantly becomes a vessel of what he thinks will fix him, the very same thing Asa is to Yoru, who keeps demanding war and respect and power and she knows what to do to make Denji lose his humanity.
The relationship between Denji and Asa is so genuine and human that using that against both of their wills is incredibly violating and dehumanizing. And that's why it is so good. And that's why it needs to be explicit. And that's why I am extremely surprised people are grossed out by this happening when dehumanizing and taking control of the lives of others is exactly what War would do.

You know those video games where the character has to complete puzzles and work through their trauma to escape/wake up/something? Obstacles getting in their way and being tied to their past as they delve more into their trauma and have to learn/heal from it before they can progress?
Danny has been around a loooong time. He's old, he's powerful, and has a space in the ghost zone that he controls much like a god. The ghosts have long since started leaving him alone, the ones he's friends with have their own affaires to deal with, and in his ever shifting labyrinthian layer he's too powerful, and even outside of it he can still kick their asses.
and he's without a purpose
His friends had long since passed on after leading long and wonderful lives with him, not even leaving a ghost behind. His Family as well. Jazz had never had children, and try as he and Sam might have, half dead as he was he couldn't have children. He had no one left and nothing to do, and all of eternity to do it in.
Thinking of Jazz is what made him do it the first time
She loved helping people with her psychology, and Danny decided to do it in his own way. It hadn't been pretty, and it hadn't been easy, but he had found his method. Some took to it better than others, and many had different theories about his lair and his motives, but he helped people move past their trauma. Some believed his lair was some kind of purgatory, and... they weren't totally off
So, when Danny moved on to the timeline of the DC multiverse, he had some experience under his belt
He just underestimated how much trauma superheroes can have

How baby is Baby Barok?
(aka I saw this post and took some time to make some silly guesstimated height calculations.)
tl;dr: In that one official art with Klint, eleven year-old Barok measures an adorable height of about 107.5cm (3"6', according to a converter) which is more than 10cm (3.9in) smaller than ten year-old Iris (canon height: 120cm, or 3"11').
How did I get there?
1. Barok's canon height is 192cm (6"4'). Pretty damn tall (and probably too tall for his era, you can find some interesting and entertaining re-calculations in this post), and officially confirmed.
2. To estimate Klint's height, I aligned Barok's face in the photograph (still so happy and innocent, sigh...) with that of his full body art and tried my best to determine where Klint's head might end, his pose isn't all too convenient.
3. Having determined Klint's height to be about 196cm (6"5'), I could scale the artwork featuring him and his tiny baby brother to fit to Klint's height. Barok (baby) is not fully standing on the 0cm line though, so I drew a line at his feet and at his head, guessing where it might end under all that floofy hair...
4. ...set that to the 0cm line et voilà! The little darling of the Van Zieks family is about 107.5cm (3"6') tall!

*Bowe is currently in a lab, examining samples, tail wagging, as he takes small notes.*
*Hes humming to himself, just giddy. Though he seems to be eating a snack on the side, as he takes a look at his notes to examine what he’s wrote.*
