- when the shaw pack gets together they do the family gathering thing of making the kids have a dance competition for money
- angel doesn't know how to commute (public transportation) and david would have to come along with them on a jeep to help them learn

Lil Minyards (Milo and Miniyards) doodle wip
It’s so bizarre to draw them together sometimes because I remember Milo is 11 years older than the girls so when they’re teens (in the doodle) he’s like in his 20s
Also I love putting small details into my doodles like Milo’s necklace being someone’s jersey number👀 (can’t reveal who unless y’all want them spoilers for his future)
Other details are the girls necklaces with their names, Anais cat earrings while April has hearts, bunnies on April’s leggings, Milo’s temple scar
I didn’t draw it on his jacket but Milo’s wearing a Palmetto Fox letterman jacket from when he was in college (Imma add his number and the logo when I do the coloring)
Honestly I haven’t had much time for drawing for myself. Whenever I do it tends to be unsatisfying and by the time I get it done I’ve already moved on in my interest. I’m so busy these days it really consumes all my free time and stresses me out on my weekends. I’ll try to post more but it just won’t be enough until winter break🤷♀️
Fun Fact: Milo goes into Social Work as a job straight after college. He does that for a few years until he finds a passion in Psychology
Double Fact: the Miniyards were salty when they found out because Milo had been a big encouragement for them when it came to exy. They were slightly betrayed and disgusted when he gave up his talent (they forgive and love him anyways)

gn!reader, no content warnings, pure fluff fluff fluff (and how long has it been since i’ve said that, huh?). written as a cheeky little secret santa present for the gorgeous @liykaii , organised by the incomparable god of organisation @daveyistheloml - all my love to the pair of you!! <333 inspired by ‘origin of love’ by MIKA, and it shows. sam doing some totally-normal washing up in just over 1000 words.
“Come back safe, darlin’.”
He doesn’t say it loudly, but he knows you’ve heard it - mostly because he can see you freeze where you’re fiddling with your seatbelt, and hear you turning to Milo and demanding that he get a move on before you’re late to David’s. Those wolf senses really are a blessing, aren’t they?
There’s a sharp peal of laughter at your flustered state, a gleeful shout of “We’ll have ‘em back in time for dinner, Mister Collins!”, and the muffled thud of a half-hearted punch before Milo gives in and drives away. He watches the taillights as they disappear into the trees, and sighs fondly at the thought of the embarrassed, lovesick teasing that’s happening in that car at this very moment. You’ll be getting on Milo's case about all those flowers he’s ordered for his mate for their anniversary coming up, and he’ll be laughing up a storm once he realises just whose shirt you’re wearing.
Honestly. A whole pack of troublemakers. God, he loves those wolves to pieces.
(Well, not all in quite the same way. It’d probably be a bit awkward if he did, y’know?)
He ducks back inside, grateful for the early winter nights that let him see you off on the porch like this. It’s not quite the same, in summer, and if he’s honest it’s the damnedest thing. Why can’t it be nighttime all the time?
It’s a little sad, he’s always thought, how easy people think it is to get used to this. Walking back into the kitchen to get started on a dinner that he doesn’t need to eat, smiling at the way the picture frames in the hall always seem to be slightly askew, clicking his tongue at your talent for leaving cups next to the dishwasher but not actually putting them inside. His mate, his mate. Running the hot water, and he’s never loved you more.
People say this is easy, don’t they? Being in love (and isn’t that a thought? Sam Collins, in love. Who knew the day would come?). It isn’t right, the way some folks take the whole thing for granted - it makes his blood boil, it really does. He’d go to the ends of the earth for you, follow you anywhere, give you anything you could possibly wish for. Whatever you decide, whatever you command, he has no choice but to blissfully obey.
At your feet, staring up at his saviour, head cradled in your hands and heart held gently between your bloody teeth. He’s soaked, waist-deep in the thousand blessings of you, and being in love is the conscious choice to tread water. Love doesn’t happen without air, and floating isn’t fun, when it’s not with you.
Clouds parting through the kitchen window, liquid silver splashing in the sink. It should always be nighttime, if you ask him. You’re so lovely, in the night.
(Not like that! Get your mind out the damn gutter!)

He turns his face to the sky and it’s you who’s there to greet him, tumbling through the stifled clouds and dropping effortlessly into his arms.
Everywhere, it’s you. That first, empty day in the woods outside Wonderworld. They say a vampire can’t help but feel a draw to the place they turned, the place where everything changed. It’s true. He does, same as anyone. But it’s funny - did you know that he feels it there too? He’s never been able to explain it. His skin, his soul, anchored to a single square foot of earth where in his mind, his mate still stands - will always stand. For him the night is eternal, and so too are you. A shadow in the moonlight, the blessed eclipse.
Before you, there hadn’t been much.
Not much of him, not much happening to him either. Alone in the garden of Eden, heaped in paradise and nothing to do. A lonely, lonely man, sliced open and abandoned by an Eve who kicked and thrashed her way free of his ribs until he lay shattered among the flowers. Blood soaks deep into the dirt, and Eden hides its face in shame.
Snakes and trees and the beauty of the forever sun. It’s a bore, peace by the absence of passion. He holds his crumbling flesh together and he can almost believe that it’s stone, unchanging and impervious, until the silver moon reaches down to find him and the sweetness of a new life bursts on his tongue. Melting, breathing, learning how to tread water. The quiet shade of a beautiful tree, jade leaves and tender branches, and something catches his eye.
Books be damned. You, the answer to his prayers, the apple that bit back, and he’s forever in your gentle grasp. What is magic, if it isn’t whatever he has with you? All creation is nothing to the wolf Sam Collins loves, who loves him back in equal measure. Heaven is nothing, when it’s midday in the polar night.
The moment passes, and he realises that he’s forgotten to turn the oven on. Are these the sorts of things you’re meant to think about, doing the washing up? He’s not sure, but since when has he ever cared about what he’s meant to do? The clock over the door ticks on, and he’s got the love of his life coming back to him in just under an hour. Better get to work.
People in love stories don’t tend to know they’re in a love story. Silver and sweetness and one breath after another. What a stroke of luck, then, that the two of you have always liked to bend the rules.

Perfect Love VN Devlog #2
I spent a lot of time working on asks this week... I have to be careful not to let that override the actual work on the game because answering asks is too much fun.
I finished doing the coding for the last section of the game after the last choice (or most of it anyways), which means the only thing after that are the endings and coding in all of Milo's responses to special nicknames (which is going to be a lot...) as well as the special ending.
I also drew a couple more mini CGs... I realized I'm going to have to draw a LOT for the endings because each ending is pretty different. Since they are the last ones you'll see in the game, I have to figure out how to make it different than the regular mini CGs... I might just make the entire screen into a CG place instead of a small box, but we'll see how it goes. Honestly, I feel a bit tired of drawing them for some reason, I so I have to try to make it fun for me again.
I did work on the buttons for the UI though. It was a lot of fighting renpy anyways, but because I want to have different buttons for choices, it has to be done. Luckily, through this I finally have a better understanding of styles and I can make two different buttons for each choice instead of having the same one. They're also slightly animated much like a lot of the game. I think they look nice though and I'm happy how it turned out so far. I drew all of the buttons choices so all I have to do is implement them via styles and viola unique styles! Then I just have to focus on the saves and whatnot and it should be good to go in terms of UI minus the Main Menu. Oh and nametags for characters.
That being said I probably will have to redo buttons for the Main Menu later since I really like the way I did the buttons for choices and I'd like to keep that aesthetic instead of looking at my handwriting.
Hopefully I get more motivation to draw out those final CGs though because I'm fairly close with finishing most of the code for the game.

Tanjiro has to give Milo constant reminders that she is loved

She’s already part of the family as far as they’re concerned
Tanjro’s mother often makes strawberry bread just for Milo
If Milo misses a day of school due to sickness or something Tanjiro always goes to her house to teach her the material and help her with the homework (unless he also had to miss in which case Muichiro will help them both)
Tanjiro LOVES watching Milo draw
He thinks Milo is so talented and he’s honestly a little envious of her drawing abilities
When he watches her draw he often gives her praises
Milo draws Tanjiro all the time and she’s afraid to show them to him so he has no idea
She’s afraid that he wouldn’t really like the drawings even though she knows that he has nothing to worry about cause he loves everything that she draws no matter what it is
Tanjiro can always tell if something is wrong with Milo both cause of his sense of smell and by looking in her eyes
Milo steals Tanjiro’s hoodies all the time
She usually doesn’t even ask him
Sometimes Tanjiro will check his closet cause he wants to wear a specific hoodie and it’s not even there so he’ll text Milo and ask if she stole it
All the teachers love Milo and Tanjiro cause of how polite they are in class
They sit together in every class that they can
Milo has little doodles are her and Tanjiro together on the edges of all her papers
Some of her teachers give her extra points for the doodles

FOR EVERY 🤔 I’LL POST A HEADCANON ABOUT OUR MUSES. ADD A + FOR A SEXCANON. // 𝖆𝖈𝖈𝖊𝖕𝖙𝖎𝖓𝖌
1) Listen, they have the ability to shapeshift. Lucifer's more masterful and has a much bigger variety of what he can become, but Lilith's selection is nothing to sneeze at, either. Combine this with the fact that they trigger silly moods in one another so easily and you got a goofy couple who both enjoy transforming into animals and running off on their own Creechure Adventures lmao. They can disappear for hours because they get so caught up in it, and if Charlie can't contact either of them, she can safely assume they're just off on one of their little Milo & Otis excursions.
Sweet Rings, have they been through some adventures. This ability in HELL of all places? Oh yeah, they've been in situations that get the heart racing and adrenaline pumping. Sometimes it's a nice day where they're literally re-enacting the damn Untitled Goose Game, sometimes it's a chaotic day where they are starring in their own Don Bluth feature film. Honestly, it's a great way for the Queen & King to keep connected to their domain. They see a lot of things when they're this tiny.
After Lilith came back home, it was Lucifer who got this ball rolling again after he shyly offered up the idea to his wife. Lilith was sick and she needed to get re-acquainted with the energies of Hell for her health, and what better way then skittering around together in creature form? They could not go as wild and far as they used to, but they still did it and they had fun, and it helped her a lot. Finally when she was better, they fell right back into this little hobby of theirs full-fledged.
It's good medicine for Lucifer, too. It gets him out and about, it's good for his head and helps ease the depression, and Lilith likes to keep that in check.
2) As the Hotel Parents(tm), they like to gather everyone together on Friday for a movie night every week. They insist upon it! They know it's a good bonding activity and that it's simply nice for everyone to coexist in the area for an hour or two in peace (for the most part).
On Tuesday, they take suggestions for movies and add it into a bingo cage to draw on Wednesday morning during breakfast. It's a fun little routine for the two of them, though they've had to deal with the process getting pranked or entirely thrown off course a time or two for someone who wanted to rig the results. Charlie loves the whole routine top to bottom - she is her parents kid.
3) Light sensitivity and overstimulation to it is something that Lilith is all hands-on-deck for taking care of, or at least providing relief for; the Queen of the Night hushes light sources - let them be electrical, magical, or flame-oriented, she extends her magic to snuff it out. If there is an instance where this is not ideal, or not possible, she creates dark barriers to shroud Lucifer for relief. They're cool and encapsulating, and he can walk anywhere with them. On the outside, it almost looks like a huge black egg with legs going for a walk.
It's not tangible, he can reach outside of it if he likes. It feels like pushing through a light stream of cold water.

Lilith is masterful in home crafts, and one of these skills branches into toiletries. They still shop for their favored brands, but she's made their own soap, lotions, shampoos, and conditioners for years to run alongside it. She had a lot of fun figuring out how to create bath bombs and went wild with it, and naturally, it did not take long for her to steep into the sensual side.
Lilih & Lucifer have their own private stock of these special bath bombs; there are combinations that heighten sensitivity, and then there are the really fun ones that they use quite often - the aphrodisiac bath bombs (encouraged to drop while in the bath for a better experience).
Pop them into the warm or hot water and they get to work; they fizz and spin with their lovely colors of red and magenta, black and white, all while gradually releasing more and more of the effect - it gets stronger the longer it goes on. Combine this with the steam, the heat, and the vapors of the water, and these two are going crazy with lust during bath time. They can get carried away. They might have broken a tub or four because of this lmao.

Under the cut is a post talking about the designs I made for this Halloween post right here.
Alright I'll explain the thought process behind these, in order in which I designed them in.
1.) Charlie
For Charlie I was torn between two ideas, cowboy or pirate. Due to my bias for cowboys I was leaning more towards that but eventually a certain someone, you know who you are, I ain't gonna tag you >:D reconvinced me to go for the pirate idea due to the thief part and then I realized that an eye patch would cover her right eye so I was sold. Designing her costume was pretty easy to be honest, I just kept adding stuff to make her look cool. Also, I had to make a Hawkshaw reference, I couldn't possibly resist once I thought of it. I'll probably draw her as a cowboy eventually though. Also, I let her have sharp teeth in the final drawing, as a treat.
2.) Cursed Treasure
Due to the lyrics I came up with I needed to give Charlie some sorta cursed treasure, so I thought a cursed golden Barnaboo statue would look cute and do the trick. The eyes and bow are meant to be gemstones and I made the face looks off so that the cursed part is a bit obvious.
3.) Milo
I actually sketched Charlie's and Milo's designs and finished them in the same day. Milo's was a quick one, I knew immediately that he had to be a vampire cuz he would definitely be something that's somewhat elegant. The hair looked a bit weird to me so I put the sunglasses there to cover it up a bit, and honestly he's pulling it all off better than what I expected. Also his teeth are perfectly goofy enough as to where I can't take him 100% seriously, which is how it should be.
4.) Parasol
The parasol was an afterthought after I had already finished Milo's design. It's inspired by the parasols that Draculaura and Poppy Pointer have. Although I screwed it up by making the handle black instead of white in the final drawing, I was going to fix it but when I started doing that I realized that there's already a lot of white in his design so I kept the black handle.
5.) Mina
For Mina I had to go for the obvious option, a witch, mostly due to lore reasons. It's canon that Mina insists on being a witch every year for Halloween because she told the culdesac kids that "Witches show their true form on Halloween." and she has to keep up that story, although her mom doesn't want her to have the same outfit each year, so she makes a different witch outfit each time. It's a pretty regular outfit with a witch hat slapped on top, but for Mina it perfectly does the trick.
6.) Molly and Mr. T. Bear
It was all fun and games until I started to design Molly's costume. The first idea I had for Molly was for her to be the Tooth fairy. Perfect idea, right? It's somewhat sleep related, Mr. T. Bear can be a tooth and it'll look cute. That's what I told myself. After 3 days of furiously looking through the web trying to find some sorta inspiration or color pallete I actually like, I gave up on the idea. I hated all of the concepts I made to the point where I got tired of the idea. Thing is... I didn't know what other costume to give her. The only ideas I could come up with were: a bed bug, sleeping beauty and Molly and Mr. T. Bear as each other. I didn't like any of those enough, so, in a moment of desperation I asked my friend for help. She told me that she noticed a pattern between the costumes I picked, that all of them were some sorta villans. Vampire, pirate, witch... she was right... I didn't do that on purpose. If she hadn't told me I would've never noticed it... Anyways, she basically suggested that Molly could maybe be a wolf. I was like oh she could be a werewolf because of the full moon and she's a moon you get the gist. And then, later on, when I was looking through the web I came across a drawing of the wolf from Little Red Riding Hood dressed as the grandma. That's when it clicked in my head. Molly as the wolf and Mr. T. Bear as Little Red Riding Hood. I was sold and I ended up liking the designs and finishing them on first try. The friend mentioned here wanted to get credited this way, since she doesn't have any socials.
And that's about it! As much as I dreaded the process because it took me ages, I do think the effort paid off. I'll definitely draw these again! :>

Ok so @bi-polar-geminii already made a post about this and had fruitful discussions about it but I feel like what I have to say might be too long to fit in their asks but
I definitely agree that SOME redacted artists seem to be unable of drawing diverse characters, keyword SOME because this fandom is one that definitely has a majority of lovely designs
And before I continue I want to point out that I am a snow cockroach myself so maybe I shouldn't be the one discussing this but obviously diversity is not just about race, it's about everything on a person like sexuality, ethnicity, nationality, body type, facial features and structures, hair textures and overall small features and accessories that differentiate the person
Honestly this is something that I've been thinking about for a long while and I won't name drop anyone because this isn't a call out post and I'm not looking to start drama (even though there is a certain someone that comes to mind but we won't talk about that) but I was scared that people would get really pissy.
I know that diversity is something that could be classified under artistic skill and I believe that not every artist who posts on social media can't just draw for fun and as a hobby without having the goal of improving but I do also think that diversity is not only a type of skill in character design but also a small gift to anyone that doesn't fit the the perfect beauty standards and when you seemingly refuse to draw anyone that doesn't fit that standard and like, only draw tank, Milo n Alexis as brownskin then that just kinda seems icky
And btw I'm not saying that it's bad to draw those three as poc (hell my tank is darkskin) but there's a difference between drawing a good chunk of the characters as brownskin/darkskin (obv including characters that don't fit/go against the racist stereotypes) and and those three just kinda end up being part of that group and then like all of your characters being crackers and only them being poc
I'm just saying it wouldn't kill you not to make all of your listener designs the same pretty faced preppy saltine sister and every male character the same dorito back webtoon guy but just with different hairstyles, clothing styles and maybe sometimes body types (but never even slightly chubby cuz god forbid)
And also, can we get some listeners that are male/masc?
This is something that I was kinda scared to talk about because like 90% of the fandom will draw like 90% of their listener ocs as women or very fem presenting and I definitely have quite a few listener designs that are very feminine or could be assumed women on first glances and again, the listener characters are gender neutral for a reason and they are at the end of the day supposed to be self inserts so the redacted fandom being majority fem/women it makes sense that they would make majorly fem/women listener ocs but like... If you're already making ocs would it kill you to make at least ONE of them masc/male? Like at least one you don't care about?
And I know saying that people should make more masc/male listener sounds kinda???? misogynistic???? But I'm not saying that because I think that male representation is a thing but because I think queer representation is a thing
I just think that maybe just maybe a little gay people wouldn't hurt??? Pretty please???with a cherry on top????

Just saying when naive little may 2022 me just finished watching freelancer and Gavin team tag Lasko (but not really because I'm literally a mineral and don't have the Patreon) and then went on social media just to see that the fandom was full of STRAGGOTS my jaw hit the submarine
And just, as we close off I know I'm not the ultimate master of diversity, my designs still fall under the pretty face fluffy hair m shaped bangs that definitely look too young for their age but I'm still working on making my character designs look distinct and diverse, and I will be actively working on it for like forever but I definitely won't lie to myself and say that I haven't improved from my dolphin smooth same face syndrome anime boy faze when I only ever wanted to put facial hair on a character when they were past the age of 27 but only put it on the jaw so they just ended up looking like Abraham Lincoln- so I know that I will get better at it eventually
I too look at more talented who are way better at making distinct designs and making designs for characters who don't have to rely on beauty standards to be absolutely gorgeous and feel bad, especially when basically the whole fandom simultaneously descides that a character is poc, a decision that I missed out on and then the fact that my design is seemingly the only one that is white makes me feel like those people that turn objects into people but just end up making them the same breed of sexy anime boy that nobody likes
So if you're insecure about your designs not being distinct enough the best advice I can give is to step out of your comfort zone and actively look for little details that might make a character unique and you'll get there
In conclusion, people who descide to be a conformist (/j) and draw Gavin with a human skin tone but then make him as pale as an uncooked chicken breast when he's specifically described as tan are kinda weird<3333

At the end of the day, people can draw whatever they want, but people can also say whatever they want in response to it, so you can't be mad if someone that's not even talking about you directly says that they find it strange that some people act like drawing a person that's not completely cis, white, straight, able bodied and a super model without it being some sort of subconscious stereotype will give them the plague

Happy new year everyone!!! Admittedly I suck at expressing myself so you'll have to forgive me if this comes across as a raw and chaotic mess lol. I'm not tagging the names either cause I'm a coward
It was incredibly fun running this blog!!! I never thought it last this long– and if probably wouldn't have it weren't for leftdestiny-post/shiro commenting on a fic haha (≧▽≦). Then I met some wonderful people, starting with like crying anon and their beloved elf darling, poptartthings, thatanonthatabsolutelyroastedtighnari, 😋 anon, veni, 🐠 anon, my mom exiled and hoo my brain is seriously a mess rn i can't type properly but i swear yall mean everything to me it's just that my aunts and uncles are all using the karaoke rn I can't hear my own thoughts but I need to write these all down before i pass out hAHAHHA (ꏿ﹏ꏿ;) they're singing victims of love rn, idk if it's my heartbeat or the speaker anymore send help–

no thoughts just ben plunkett my prom pact son... a summary
awkward boy, had an Incident when he was younger and has sorta made himself fade into the background since so people stopped insulting him all the time. instead they just don't know his name.
he thinks he can be okay with that because he has mandy, his best friend in the whole world, and their standing friday night plans.
they have/he has two other friends in charles and zenobia, but they at least put themselves out there and go to things... ben just Wants to. he never does
he has a history of wanting to do things and not pursuing them... it's easier to just be afraid and anxious and focus on school and listening to mandy's worldview, trying to believe she's obviously right so that he can be okay with not having much of a life outside of her and them. books, movies, and waffles. (with chocolate chips, it's better than without).
i'm sorry but no disney you cannot convince me he's not objectively attractive. who is saying he has no shoulders? have you seen milo manheim. he's also very tall- he would have trouble not drawing attention to himself. the reason he struggles socially is because of his awkwardness attributed to his lack of socialization after complete ostrasization. moral of the story kids are cruel. it's clear too that no one has completely forgotten the Incident. they just forgot to remember Him... so they can't make fun of him if they don't remember him.
he doesn't believe he has much to look forward to, in all honesty. as much as mandy talks about people peaking in high school, a lot of ben wants to be a part of high school life, especially in his senior year, as he realizes maybe he needs a legacy. because college for him isn't going anywhere. his family simply cannot afford to send him anywhere else. so as much as he's thrilled and excited for mandy and really believes she's gonna get what she's looking for with harvard, he doesn't have any plans like that. so for him... as much as he likes to try to convince himself he doesn't- part of him Does really care to have something to share with his classmates.
prom king- though not earned... honestly makes his year. it doesn't matter that no one actually voted for him. they're going to remember him. he's going to remember this forever. it's a shame it took up until just before prom for him to break outside of his shell a bit. because no, ben didn't like the party, he ended up playing mom friend and collecting people's cups the whole time... but he met someone amazing. someone who did remember him- know him. of all his popular classmates- latoya saw him. even though no one else really did beyond mandy. that relationship, his first actual girlfriend that wasn't in junior high or elementary school or something, doesn't last through all of college- but she opened him up. he'll always appreciate her for that. she made him see himself as so much more than that boy in the background. and yeah- he'd had a crush on her since they were project partners in class.
ben literally loves and adores mandy with all of his heart. even if she forgot it was his birthday at first, he treasures their drives to school together in the morning, their friday night traditions, having someone to spend lunches with... she makes high school so much better. to have a partner in crime. and hey- he never went to a high school dance even though part of him deep down wanted to, but he did spend those evenings with his very best friend in the whole world. that's more than enough.

FCG Theory, since you seem to enjoy them:
FCG was not made by Dancer, but was made by people long ago in either Aeor or a different pre-calamity city in/over Marquet and was simply restored by Dancer like Charlie/Devexian. His godless divine power is because the people of that city were trying to prove themselves more powerful than the gods that created them by creating their own artificial soul with divine power. Leading to questions like what makes a soul a soul and does their soul count?
Or, alternatively, Dancer did create him but Dancer and the DPB are not contemporary, they're actually also pre-calamity, and FCG was sitting around in stasis for hundreds of years without realizing it.
I do think FCG is likely to have connection to Devexian, considering that his race is Aeormaton, but I just questions Dancer's relevance if she didn't make him. Why or how would she have convinced him she did? Maybe FCG is a Charlie situation and is the "surface" personality and for some reason Dancer took the opportunity of FCG's naivete to convince him that she made him, but I just question WHY she would do that. Plus all of the other bots just pushes me to think that Dancer did create them and has some connection to Aeor.
I really enjoy that second theory you posited. I think that's such a fun idea that FCG was just sitting around but I also think canon probably disproves this. My memory isn't great but I feel like Ashton found FCG right after the incident? Unless I made that up. Because they took them to Milo who patched them up, I just feel like it's unlikely that Ashton could've found a hundreds of years robot and not realized it was hundreds of years old.
As for FCG's non-divinity, I'm interested in how they handle it, but I actually really like the current explanation of FCG's divinity just being corollary to their purpose and their coding to heal and protect. I'm a big fan of the D&D interpretation that you don't need a divine being to play a divine-based class. It's part of the reason I love Ricky Matsui from Dimension 20 so much- a paladin who drew power not from any divine being, but from a core philosophy of being helpful and kind. Other than FCG's being programming and Ricky's being choice, it's a very similar place they're drawing their magic from and I'm honestly super satisfied if CR doesn't explain any further where FCG gets their magic from. Honestly, I'd be a little bummed if FCG were connected to some actual divine being.

Janice Headcannons
She's in my brain
She's so strange, sometimes as much if not more so than the odd characters and creatures around her. She was always a pretty weird kid and Candle Cove just made her weirder.
While she is a very sweet kid who deeply cares about others, she can also be a bit of a hot head and throughout the series is prone to fits of rage. Though, they only really occur when she and the crew are in danger or when she's pushed past her limits. Honestly with all the shit she's put through at nine/ten years old can you blame her?
We all see Percy and Janice as the dynamic duo, and while after a couple of episodes after they warm up to each other this is the case, but I actually think Janice and Poppy are equally a duo if not more so. They were immediately best friends (aka the second Poppy saw her he went "Anyone gonna adopt that?" and didn't wait for an answer) and care about each other so so much. Janice looks up to Poppy a lot and hopes to be as good a pirate captain as he is one day.
Janice is not scared of Horace whatsoever. She will mock him to his face, fire canons at him, and take him on one on one (though she really shouldn't).
Near the end of the series, probably the screaming episode, Janice does snap and shoots a pistol at Skin-taker. At first he's amused she actually had the guts to do it, but then he's a little less amused and he realizes she actually managed to hit him.
She accidentally killed Horace one time by throwing a rock at him out of anger. Despite Poppy's praise she was very not okay after. (Don't worry Horace was fine Skin-taker brought him back).
After Milo's death Danny took to her.
She seems like a tomboy, but still feminine and partial to typically girly things in her own unique way. No gender in Candle Cove, only vibes.
She's pretty good at drawing!
She learned sign language from Nathan because a lot of pirates in Candle Cove have hearing loss from working with canons, including Calvary.
She has a hidden compartment in the floorboards below deck she hides various treasures and keepsakes in. It's one of her's and Ms. Laughingstocks many fun little secrets from the rest of the crew.
Ms. Laughingstock is like....the only one who gives Janice actually helpful and good advice. Advice from everyone else on the crew is always just a little bit questionable in one way or another.
She has faint scarring from where she began turning into an abyssal thing while trapped in the abyssal kingdom.
Because she'd started the process of turning into them but never fully did, Janice now has the ability to communicate with the abyssal things like Skin-taker. It frightened her at first, but after realizing they were once children like her and deep down still are, it just makes her sad for them.
Out of everyone on the crew she gets the worst sea legs.
At one point she attacked Milo when he was about to try and harm Percy during a fight.
She is so so blatantly honest with people to the point it seems like she's trying to be rude, which she really doesn't mean to be she just has 0 filter, both because of being a kid and the autistic swag.
