Leosagi/Leochi in Musicals

I have noticed that some people are putting the Epic Musical associated with ROTTMNT (Mostly revolving around Leo). I just have to say, I haven’t listened to the Epic Musical, but my God why hasn’t anyone done Leosagi in other musicals 😭. I haven’t watched many musicals, but here are some suggestions (that no one will use 💀).

Musicals That Can Fit Leosagi/Leochi

Hamilton - Historical Musical about Founding Father Alexander Hamilton

I’ve seen people using this in other fandoms. For this one it’s mostly Casey and Future Leo. But to include Usagi:

“Helpless“ - The roles technically don’t matter, but Leo could be Eliza (because he has a lot of siblings and also is blue) and Usagi could be Alexander. Usagi’s friends could be Laf, Muligan, or Laurens. Very wholesome song! It could also be reversed with Leo as Alexander. His brothers would be Laf (Donnie), Mulligan (Mikey/Raph), Laurens (Mikey/Someone Else), or Aaron (Raph/Donnie) if this was the case.

“Satisfied” - For some Angst, Leo or Usagi wouldn’t be Eliza 💀 (or if people ship Donsagi, idk the name, then this is a perfect song LOL)! Usagi could be Angelica and Leo Alexander or vise versa. (Context: Angelica and Eliza are siblings, Angelica is the oldest and likes Hamilton. However, she sees her sister Eliza likes Alex as well, so Angelica sets Eliza and Alex up and the two are getting married. Basically, a love triangle)

“Congratulations“ or “First Burn” / “Burn” - This is just to cause more Angst and rub salt over the wound to match with “Satisfied”. “Burn” is basically Eliza and Alexander breaking up because of “Say No To This” when Alex has an affair.

“Dear Theodosia“ - Can be used for the headcanon of Jotaro as Leosagi’s kid & Aaron Burr as Cassandra which would make Theodosia as Casey Jr.

“Blow Us All Away” and “Stay Alive (Reprise)” - Used as the above. Jotaro can be Phillip (Alex and Eliza’s son). Or maybe replace the son as Casey Jr. Either way, could be a fun idea.

In The Heights - Hispanic musical with people who have a dream and struggling with identity/poverty. (Idk how to describe it).

This musical can be use for those fans who like to headcanon the Hamato children knowing Spanish. There are 2 couples in this play (Benny and Nina | Vanessa and Usnavi) that could fit Leosagi and there is a musical and a movie (I prefer movie audio since it sounds newer than the musical since that’s kinda old).

“The Club“ - Just for funsies. Leo/Usagi getting jealous that the other is gaining a lot of attention on the dance floor with other men (Imma assume Leo aka Vanessa is on the dance floor).

“Blackout” - Follows right after the previous song. Only part that would fit here is an audio most might have heard. The whole “You barely even danced with me” and then “Don’t make me laugh, I’ve been trying all night, you’ve been shaking your ass with half of the Heights”.

“When You’re Home“ - Could be wholesome with using Usagi as Benny (since there’s no confirm race) and Leo as Nina (Afro-Latino and half Japanese moment? Black Hispanic and half Japanese?).

“Sunrise“ - This is only in the musical version, but it’s so cute!! Takes place after “Blackout” where Nina and Benny found each other and stayed with each other. Nina teaches Benny some Spanish. “Well how do you say kiss me?” “Besume” “and how do you say hold me?” All of that. And also a moment where Benny is scared that Nina’s dad is going to know that Nina is with him (Nina’s dad disproves of Benny). Obviously, Leo is Nina and Benny is Usagi.

Bare: A Pop Opera - (TW: Self-harm also Drugs) Gay musical with two boys struggling in a Catholic Boarding School. They are secretly dating, but one wants the come out and the other doesn’t because of his strict father (also he has a twin).

I really recommend this musical, it might be slow but it can get you in your feels. Btw, it’s a sad musical (Trigger warning). Honestly, any songs can fit because it’s literally a gay story. Also a theater Romeo and Juliet play they are doing. A play within a musical.

“You And I“ - Listening to the lyrics ummm, Leo fits almost TOO WELL with being Jason 😂 Jason is the one with a twin named Nadia (who believes she is fat and she harms herself). Their dad is rich and Jason is the favorite sibling. Anyways, Jason is Leo and Peter is Usagi. This song is an introduction to how they are together (always being in secret and having to pull away when people are around).

“Plain Jane Fat Ass“ - Twin moment with Jason (Leo) and Nadia (Donnie). Angst or Hurt/Comfort with the two.

“Best Kept Secret“ - Self explanatory

“Ever After” - THIS SONG OMG. So Leo and Usagi are having a heated argument and it’s tense and pretty sad.

“Wedding Bells“ - Angst. Usagi imagines Leo with another person.

“See Me“ - This is gonna have to change, so Peter is trying to come out to his mother, but she is clearly trying to ignore it. So This could be Leo being Peter and Splinter being the mom.

“God Don’t Make No Trash“ - Sister Chantelle (I didn’t spell that right. Anyways this is definitely Mikey aka Dr. Feels) and Peter talking about sexuality (kinda).

I don’t know who can be considered as “Father”. Maybe Draxum or Big Mama.

“Bare“ - Hurt, no comfort between Peter and Jason.

Be More Chill - Awkward teens who are trying to be cool so they take a pill (From JAPAAAAAAN) and they are controlled kinda.

Main character, Jeremy, likes this quirky girl named Christine, so he’s trying to be cool to get with her. If you heard the audio (”I’m waiting for my porno to load”) then that’s this musical. I did see multiple Donnie animations (and a Leo) with the song “Michael In The Bathroom”. Yeah that’s this musical. Maybe Christine (Usagi), Jeremy (Leo), and Michael (Donnie).

The Idea: I included this musical mainly because the whole idea if that teenagers are trying to be cool by taking a pill that (roughly, hard to explain) has a person in their head who “helps” them be cool (in actuality, a douche or a player). With the headcanons of The Krang still in control of certain Turtles, I thought well maybe instead of inserting something like “Mind Raph”, just make the person in the head (aka a Squip) just the Krang 😂 (Same can be used for BeetleJuice The Musical)

“A Guy That I’d Kinda Be Into“ - Pretty cute song from Christine (Usagi).

“Be More Chill Pt. 1″ - Basically when the Squip comes in. Like listen and imagine the Krang behind the voices trying to manipulate people 💀

“The Pitiful Children“ - Basically a ‘world domination’ song. So just Krangs.

Heathers - Basically the movie.

This potentially fits the 2003 Leosagi more, I have no idea. At least, if we make JD Miyamoto. TW: Murders, Explosives, E.D., Suicide, Drugs/Alcohols, and attempt S.A.

“Beautiful” Or “Candy Store“ - The roles (based on colors) are Chandler (Raph), Duke (Donnie), MacAmera (Didn’t spell that right, Mikey), Kurt & Ram (The Foot Dudes? Bebop & Rocksteady), Martha (Todd? LOL), JD (Usagi).

“Meant To Be Yours” - Please, I need Psychopathic Usagi or Leo, I’ll take any 😭

Heathers: The Musical (2022), another version of the musical with some altered lyrics and added songs with a bit new style of musical form. “I Will Never Shut Up Again” - Wonderful song for Duke, would like to see an animation of Donnie (I like villain songs, lol).

“Seventeen“ - Wholesome song, hurt/comfort kinda, where Usagi and Leo are singing about having a life together (and not a life of being murderers).

I would add “Dead Girl Walking” but this fandom seems to not do much NSFW stuff with this ship, so I’ll exclude that song along with “Blue” as a suggestion.

How do they exist?

Baxter Stockman, a teen genius, spent 22 years (17-39) creating a serum for perfect super soldiers-a classic I know- creating failures upon failures he finally perfected the chemical mutagen. But with the twist of it not working on humans due to something that humans have that ‘lower-intelligence life forms’ don't.

When used on humans they will [insert super painful symptoms] and a clinical death happens.

Baxter Stockman was promoted and awarded from the higher ups-he's now head of the renewed US bioweapons program.

Len - backstory

Putting the unmutated tot len into a tank of water then releasing the mutagen into the tank mutating them into a humanoid baby.

She was treated carefully, due to her being so-new, they tested her with anything possible without harming her. She was kept in a room, alone, being studied from the outside behind see-through mirrors.

As she got older(5) the experiments and studies started to become more often and a little more risky, they started to do more hands on like extracting blood or muscle reaction (they can't take scutes yet).

She got older, again, because they age…

Experiments got worse-like-painful- worse.

4 years after the creation of Lenna…

An agency (clan) in Japan heard (stalked) about the Mutagen that was perfected, they did a little something (killing) something (torture) getting the components of the mutagen to make their own soldiers.

They wanted a weapon that can be both in land and water, and large in size as well- since bigger weapons are more stronger right?- so they took the idea of a turtle as well. Leatherback sea turtle was their pick, soon or later will be known as V-1-L-0-T Donatello.

After the turtle was mutated, he was young- a baby

But being the smart-ego filled Ninjas they thought it would be best to make the ageing process a little bit faster so they're ahead of the enemy or the very least the same pace of making a weapon

TW/CW: Mentions of Abuse and Trauma

Basic Information:

Name: Alexander Hamato | Age: 16

Birthday: March 6th | Gender: Male

Nicknames: Alex, Xander, or Lexi

Sibling Role: Two weeks younger than Leo and Donnie, almost hugging Mikey's age but making it to an older brother role for him.

Mutation: Ryukyu Black-Breasted Leaf Turtle (later mixed with butterfly DNA)

Back Story Summary:

Alexander when mutated was dropped on the streets of New York and found by scientist Eric Sacks (2014 TMNT: out of the shadows). Eric didn't see them as a child though, but just an experiment to use. He was very abusive, sometimes making them bleed. Alexander's name with Eric was Seventeen, keeping a basic number to not form any strong bonds with Alexander. At the age of two or so, Eric injected butterfly DNA into Alex, and not long after Alex had formed butterfly wings and butterfly related things. Alexander formed their ninpo fully after the turtles fought the Shredder, feeling their bond in the air and holding on to that feeling of safety and warmth.

Alex was found by the turtles after the movie, being feral and anxiety burdened. Fortunately Eric was killed while the turtles made the recuse mission (in a car crash because he saw his lab was broken into) It took Alex a few days to trust at least someone out of the turtles. (TBC)

Extra Information:

- Alex's weapon was the only one he had learned how to fight with when he was growing up. Mostly because Eric wanted to test how well they could learn.

- Alex tends to lay in warm places, sometimes camping out by one of the turtles

- Alex's ninpo can give off waves of ninpo, that any family member (having ninpo or not) can feel, sometimes making it completely obvious of what their feeling

-Alex can fold his wings into a complete cone shape and tuck himself into it

- His ninpo can shape shift to put it simply. One day he could be able to teleport, the next read someone's mind. (When he gets a hold of it, he can change it at will.)

IINNNNN AN UPCOMING FIC— I’ve been planning on how they meet for a while but I can give you more information about Runa, like a wiki article or something 💀, I hope that helps a lil cause i cannot start answering questions or else I’ll spill the entire story line💔 (im sorry I’m so mean😔)

ANYWHO

Runa O’Crest comes from a powerful Yokai family that married into wealth, making her family name lower then royalty but still higher than a Duke/Duchess. She prides herself on her name and wealth, because that’s the core value that her mother, Princess Toriki, and her father, Prince Synson. -They aren’t Queens and Kings yet, because Synson’s father hasn’t given him the throne yet; So Toriki isn’t a real princess (a fact she refuses to address), making her a princess consort.

Runa’s parents are overly protective of their youngest daughter and only heir after their eldest daughter, “Tawny Owl,” abdicated. This causes them to almost pressure Runa into being a “perfect” princess, she feels like her life revolves around trying to impress her parents. Still, Runa sees that her parents favor Tawny over her, which causes her to feel like she’s not good enough.

(I should say that I barely have a timeline scratched together so this is really funky💀 this, currently, isn’t my biggest priority atm, so I haven’t really put a lot of time into this💔)

After her parents decided that she’s finally ready to go to the outside world, they let her go to April O’Neil’s high school/college(???), and that’s where she meets the Turtles. The Ninjas were investigating a strange uprising of mystic mumbo-jumbo on school property and April called the experts.

Donnie was quick to jump on this opportunity as he investigated the mysterious happenings and quickly found the cause; Yokai taking the forms of humans and attending school!

But before the Mad Dogs came to the conclusion that there is more then one Yokai going to this school, Donnie tracks a trail of magic to the punk-rock girl, Tawny. And subsequently her sister, Runa.

April and Tawny have met before, just under harsh circumstances and thus ended up not really approving of each other.

Donnie followed the trail of mystical residue with his magic-seeking googles; and ends up at the feet of Tawny O’Crest, the “rebel with a plan.”

After a brief introduction, Runa stomps over to her sister and demands to know what April is doing talking to her sister.

“Hey, Runa,” April called, “Why don’t you make like a tree and leave?” April hissed, getting closer to the mean girl’s face trying to intimate her.

“Why don’t you make like an overactive sebaceous oil gland cell, and get out of my face.” Runa hissed back.

“Did you just… reference human biology down to its microscopic exocrine glands?” Donnie said, scooting April out of the way and behind him, “To insult me?” He asked, angry, but mostly confused fascination.

“Yeah, what about it? You’re just jealous because I won first place in the Science fair!” Runa pouted back.

At this point Donatello was stunned. This-This total wet towel had won over his brilliant and ground breaking tech?! He would not stand for this!

“Excuse me,” he said softly, “WHAT?!” He shouted so loudly that Jersey could hear him.

“That’s right, Grinchie,” Runa said, eyeing him up and down, “I won.”

“oKAY THAT’S IT!!” Donnie shouted, pulling a dramatic anime pose while pointing to the girl, “YOU. ME. RIVALS FROM NOW ON! Any objections?”

“Well, I think-.”

“GOOD!” Don shouted, “We are now rivals!!”

And with that, the Mad Dogs left and the rest is history. As you can see, Runa was very prissy and quite obnoxious. But after meeting the turtles and challenging them, competing with them, and ever befriending them, she starts to let her inner self shine.

She becomes more helpful and affectionate towards the Mad Dogs, and realizes how messed up her relationship with her parents is. And the scheme that was running along just beneath the surface.

You see, Runa’s parents had invested a lot of money into the Battle Nexes, only to have their only source of income and entertainment slaughter by a creature they told her to get rid of.

“What a fitting end.” Toriki hissed, “She did always like to keep pets.”

So, Toriki was like, “oh shoot😨 we need more money🧐 how will this happen🤔 I know!🤩 the Battle Nexes 2: electric boogaloo 🤩🤩”

And Toriki sends her beloved children into the human world to get the best fighters they know of (this is a post-cannon fic btw so after the movie), and force them to fight in the Battle until they die or find a better fighter.

They have their sights set on Leo.

NOW, ON TO ALEXANDER

tw/////dark subjects like sh and ed 🦋 SO; getting into Alexander’s trauma here, he’s very insecure about his plastron because it resembles Leo’s too much, making him feel kinda guilty for just,,,looking like donnie’s twin the slightest bit. He’s tried to smooth it out with filers (the nail things to sand your nails idk) and even sand paper, it’s kinda like self harm because it hurt really bad. And he was too scared to go to his parents so he went to April instead who told him that that wasn’t okay and his parents loved him no matter what. There’s still marks and scrapes but it’s mostly healed. (Originally drawing Alex with Leo’s plastron was a slight mistake but over time it kinda stuck and now you get lore)

he was also getting bullied at the Hidden City school for being half mutant and half yokai, something he still refuses to tell people until he has confirmation that they will accept him in any way, but as he grew up it only got worse. They wrote it on his lockers and backpacks, they even drew it on his face when he fell asleep in class once! He never told donnie, (but his father figured it out pretty quick), because he knew donnie would obliterate the school if he found out. So he told runa who,,,,handled it a-prop-et-ly. After that he trusts people more easily and gets betrayed yadah, yadah, yadah…

And Alex has always felt he was different from everyone else, mostly because of his strong mystic energy, but I digress.

He felt extremely thin with his plastron and resorted to eating a lot, so much so that he would get sick. He would just eat random shiz too, but that’s more of a inherited trait because he used to just eat random stuff as a baby.

But overall, he’s a happy kid, a little naïve, but mostly sweet.

NOW ON TO DONNIE

the only notes that I have on him are these ones ;

because donnie doesn’t like physical touch that much in his teen years and never really allowed himself to be all soft and affectionate towards his family and friends, when he’s an adult (future au with alex) he’s very cuddly and venerable. (not to his family but only to Runa and maybe alex if it calls for it) and that’s why future donnie doesn’t really wear his battle shell around the house

And that’s about it for Donnie since his personality doesn’t change that much.👁👁

Anyway, here’s some fun trivia facts because I need some way to end this ;

-Runa and Donnie are very similar yet different at the same time. Runa is mean because everyone told her she cared too much so she stopped caring completely. Donnie was just born like that and he’s just naturally defensive as a safety precaution.

-They argue a lot over who’s right, sometimes they seem to argue for fun. But they will never admit if one of them is wrong until they’re proven right. Then neither of them will bring it up ever again. Sometimes Donnie will let Runa prove she’s right just to see her smile and laugh.

-When they game, don will let her win (rarely) just to see Runa’s dorky victory dance. Then it just turns into a dance party for everyone.

-When in her Yokai form, she accidentally hits people with her tail feathers.

-Runa listens to Shake Your Tail Feathers from Chicken Little unironically.

-Donnie makes dirty science jokes when he’s hormonal🫣. I.E. “Much like warm air molecules, I never stay on the bottom.”

-Donnie learns what every single coo, chirp, squak and screech means in owl language. Runa and Donnie usually talk to each other like that so Donnie doesn’t have to admit how mushy he can get around his brothers.

-They say a lot of things at the same time. Runa thinks a lot like donnie so she knows what a lot of complex abbreviations for blueprints are.

(I should mention the fun facts take place after they had Alex) SO, that is all I have about this family!! Sorry if it’s long it’s just I have SO much to talk about with them, and don’t even get me started on NEXT GEN au (it’s future au with the kraang and Alex and his friends and all that stuff). I’m just SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SO, SO very happy you asked!!

TMNT: From Foot to Hamato

Hey, have some Turtles fan art, and I finally got rid of this art block! Now a few ideas are starting to pour back into mind. I miss drawing the Turtles themselves, but I wanted to draw other TMNT characters, so I just settled on Alex and Karai. The thought process is how these two have similar paths. Oh, and this is a slight AU thing, which is if Karai had stayed with the Turtles instead of recreating the Foot Clan [thus why she has a different uniform on]. But I just wanted to draw my Ally-boy again.

Any watchers of the 2012 series would know that Karai is the biological daughter of Splinter and after he battled Shredder who destroyed his Clan, he took baby Miwa and raised her as his own daughter. Karai is an iconic character in the franchise for being morally grey as she sometimes sides with the Turtles but is loyal to the Foot Clan. Later in the 2012 series, Karai finds out her true family, a shit ton of drama goes down, and Karai was soon freed from Shredder for good. Although she plans to rebuild the Foot Clan and destroy Shredder, I felt like Karai was still influenced by her family heritage of the Hamato Clan. She is considered family to the Turtles, fights alongside them on occasion, and is honor-bound.

As for those who know Alex, he was separated from his family, the Turtles, when they got mutated, but several years later, he was found and taken to the Foot. He escaped them, but not without a near death battle with Shredder, and he later meets the Turtles. After finding out he's related to the Turtles by blood, he decides to stay and live with his family, helping them on their crazy and dangerous missions. But I just like this idea that Karai and Alex, who are also close, had a similar path that helped them find their destinies.

It felt SO good to pick up a pencil and finally draw something, and it was worth it! Wanted to try a couple of things here, and I'm back to side profiles. I just adore how Karai turned out, and I had so much fun drawing and coloring her! I am also happy that I FINALLY use this Hamato Clan Karai design, which I made back in 2019, and put it in a drawing. I'm also very pleased with my precious Alex and it felt good to draw him as a Turtle again. 😆 Also, the Hamato Clan symbol for the backdrop was a last minute decision that I think helped tied this together. Hoping to do more TMNT drawings, but at the same time, I wanna do more drawings based on the other shows and movies I like.

Actiontoongorlz's Top 8 Canon x OC Ships 💖💖

I've been looking at OTP/Couples memes for a while and decided that it's time for me to make my own! For an extra surprise I'm not putting Ben Tennyson x Jora Holiday on this list because I focus too much on them anyways & I want my other OCs & their loves to have the spotlight for a change. The timing couldn't be more perfect as we're close to Valentine's Day!!! If you don't support canon x oc or find my ships displeasing then move along because this is a Happy Place! 😁😁 Again these are couples that I consider my personal OTPs in regards to canon x oc. That and making more content with my ships in general! Be warned the text is long and contains spoilers for certain shows and such!!

Clarify: these are my own ocs so there's not going to be anyone else's oc/canon. I might have to save that for another post in the future! 💚 But yeah these are characters that I came up with :]

Alright I'm done ranting, let's get started!

1. Sonic x Lani: I never quite gave much thought into this pair as I should so I promise to do something with them in the future! I promise! What I appreciate about SonLani is that there's little drama, like everything is super chill because both parties are chill. It's not a big deal and they don't need grand gestures to show how much they care about each other. Unlike Preboot Archie with its carts full of poorly written romance and strangely OOC moments on Sonic's end, SonLani had a lot of time to grow, while keeping his established personality in check. They actually communicate with each other, and stick by each other thick and thin. Lani loves Sonic for who he is & has no plans on changing him. Likewise Sonic has someone he can rely on when things get tough; not to mention he can really be himself around her without going all "iLl sLOw dOWn fOr U." Plus the ship name I gave them is a huge nod to the games ^_^

2. Jason x Vanessa: A recent pair due to Vanessa being a new creation but I'm honestly in love with them right now. In-universe they are regarded as the prime example of 'Opposites Attract' in Odyssey. They didn't get along very well in Jason's first couple of months in town due to his hardheaded self and her aloof demeanor. But through events such as Blackgaard and Novacom they gradually learn to trust one another. They see each other in a different light, Vanessa realising that Jason is a lot more thoughtful than he lets on, and Jason discovering her hidden fun side and kindness. Vanessa provides challenges and a sense of normalcy Jason can enjoy away from spy business. Meanwhile Jason fulfills her thirst of adventure & simultaneous desire for a peaceful life as well as spirituality. They're a equals, regarding each other as such and not to mention the BANTER! Hard to believe a former nun can keep up with a secret agent both physically and trading barbs XD. There's also the Forbidden Love factor of Vanessa being the duaghter of Regis Blackgaard, Jason defending her because he KNOWS she is nothing like her old man. Their friendship and romance overcome so many obstacles. I can honestly say that if Vanessa was canon she'd be the type of person Jason would like to be with especially over Jillian Marshall *gags*

3. Kaysha Wallace x Leo Hamato: Now here's a ship that I want to get more into 😁😁 Honestly I love the idea of this pairing: the serious leadee x bubbly spirit! Kaysha is very perky yet understands Leo's feelings on shouldering so much responsibility (she being the oldest child in her family). She's very willing to support him because she doesn't want to see him get all weary from burden. Likewise Leo can be himself around her, and teach her to be more responsible. He doesn't doubt her potential and sees her as an equal even during those periods where she was not on par with the other ninja. Kaysha shows Leo it's okay to relax and let other people help him out and not shut everyone out. When Leo expresses his ability to give her a safe life she simply laughs it off; the way she sees it him simply there in her life is enough. The most interesting facet is their dynamic varies between shows, so you'd see different scenarios and reactions as well as similarities and differences in their romance subplot.

4. Artie x Rhodanthe: Another couple I seriously need to give more attention to, they're meant to be is the foil to Shrek and Fiona in several ways. Artie and Rho may come from different social classes but they're both searching for a purpose to prove their haters wrong. Artie lacked confidence while Rho was overconfident believing she didn't need help. Together Artie learns to stand up for not only for his kingdom and loved ones hut also for himself; Rho's pride gets tempered by Artie's kindness and willingness to compromise. Another thing I like is that Artie has someone who loves him for him not because he is attractive and of royal blood. Likewise Rho has someone who respects her in spite of her social standing & shares her beliefs in making life easier for the poor & outcasts. While both lacke the physical prowess of Shrek and Fiona they rely on each other's resourcefulness and strategic thinking to get by. Unlike Shrek and Fiona they don't get married at the end of their focus movie, resolving to figure out where to take their relationship next. They still have their own life goals and don't want to rush into a relationship which sends a pretty good message. However they have their disagreements - in fact they got a huge argument that became a plot point in Shrek Forever After - but through it all they rediscover the things that made them fall in true love with each other. I'm really loving the subplot I have planned where they forget their memories and slowly fall back in love again.

5. Finn x Alma: Surprise! Yes8 I have a Cars OC (that was originally a fanon Disney Princess) who is the niece of Tow Mater in my verse and she enters a relationship with Finn McMissile. The thing I love about this pair is that it allows Alma to use her skills to flourish, treating amd healing injured spies. She's also into travel and adventure so she can pretty much keep up with Finn. Likewise Finn realizes she is more than just a pretty face or a one-off fling but someone with the passion to face challenges head on; Finn seems to love a good challenge! But overall they'd make a nice pairing, Finn showing Alma the world and Alma showing Finn some of the more simpler things in life.

6. Alexander Paine & Qiu Jin: Well well well look at what the cat dragged in? If it isn't our first villain pairing? XD Just kidding only one half is a genuine villain. What makes this couple so unique in that their storyline goes way back to before the events of the show, he being a agent and she a mechanic. They loved each other deeply, even to the point of starting a family, but forced apart due to some troubling events. When they do get back together it's not so much a bittersweet reunion as Paine became a full villain and Qiu Jin had spent years in&out mental institution before being released There's visible pain & regret, Alexander desperately wanting a semblance of what they once had. He seeks power not just for himself for to heal her. But Jin refuses to go along with his schemes wanting nothing more than to move on and see their children. Jin is a huge Mortality Pet for him, but his own selfish desires for power is a major obstacle their love can't overcome. It's the more bittersweet of my pairings but an important one nonetheless.

7. Bruce Wayne x Nicola Holden: Ok the Brooding Guy/Gentle Girl trope is a mixed bag these days but I really like this trope in regards to Brucola. Like with Artie/Rho, Bruce and Nicola come from different social classes but has that same compassion and drive to help others. Nicola is someone Bruce can trust but at the same time she lets him know there are boundaries (aka don't use my weaknesses as a contingency plan). I also feel like Bruce needs a sort of normal love interest, while he has canon normal girlfriends most of them were pretty boring. At least with Nicola she has has a life outside being a love interest her own goals and motivations. She also loves Bruce for him, not because of his money and good looks. It's a generally healthy dynamic built on honesty & empathy. Another reason why I find this pair adorable is that it actually matches with the rest of the Trinity; you know, like how Superman is with a journalist and Wondy is with a soldier/agent. Nicola & Bruce having different ways of pursuing justice while still sharing similar moral codes. It helps that Nicola is actually a hero rather than an antihero/villain/straight villain (Bruce dating a villan would only make him look like a hypocrite). Nicola sees all facets of Bruce's life and makes the choice to stay; provides some much needed light not just in his life but also the rest of the Batfam. In turn Bruce has another connection to the normal world that is willing to be in his life and see him genuinely happy. They're mature adults who ground each other and build each other up.

8. Optimus Prime x Malina Lovelace: Okay is it just me or do I think TFA Optimus Prime needs more love? What's funny is that at first Malina didn't like the thought of being outshined by newcomers in her superhero career. Spending time with Optimus makes her realize that there's more to being a superhero than fame. Optimus doesn't look down on her, and is more than willing to work with her and appreciate her work. She becomes touched by his friendliness and aceepts him and the other Bots. At the same time Malina reminds Optimus that it's okay to make mistakes and move on, and that it's okay to cut toxic people out. I even wrote a noncanon ficlet where Malina calls out Sentinel and Blackarachnia for the way they treat Optimus. OptMalina is a romance built on respect despite the obvious differences. Not to mention they have each other's back, and they learn about each other each time. And just like with KayLeo and BatRose there's different continuities which means unique versions of the Optlina pair. The Bayverse *chortle* and Prime versions are a few I'd love to explore in the future!

Miscellaneous

- Chad Charming x Soraya Nedakh: Essentially snobby rich kid who learns to be self sufficient and see past appearances through a positive influence. Soraya helps Chad to understand that being royalty isn't just pretty clothes and parties but actually using that status to help others. And Chad actually has his views challenged: Soraya doesn't back down easily.

- Jetta x Zane: The concept of JettaZane (or A Touch Of Snow/IceMagic) is that the robot teaches the human what it's like to be human. Jetta started out as an extremely cold person and a loner, but her time with Zane - the literal ninja of ice - gradually melts her heart & she becomes more caring and accepting. So the robot programmed to be human helps the human raised to be a cold machine unlearn her toxic traits and reclaim her humanity. Also Pixane is kinda boring imo, like they're only together because they're both robots. Not very compelling if you ask me.

- Brian Crown x Kelly Arbol: The wellmeaning goofball and the beatnik poet are something I rarely see much of, but that pretty much sums up their ship. Brian may be a bit self centered but he has a heart of gold and through Kelly's influence he becomes more confident in being a worthy successor to his dad. Meanwhile Brian respects Kelly in and out costume and teaches her how to have fun. Not to mention Kelly interacts with someone outside her circle, which is a welcome change from the trope of only dating someone within your circle.

- Janus Lee x Lenora Rose: Another pair from the same show as Paine and Qiu Jin, there's not much to say on them other than it's one of the most tragic couples. Lenora died a long time ago due to circumstances beyond her & Mr. Lee's control and it's her death that was the catalyst to his gradual descent into evil. As the show goes on we see glimpses of their life together and realize that Lenora is more than the Ghost, she was someone with her own dreams and motivations. She and Janus were outcasts who found companionship in each other, and were able to build a life together using their hard-earned resources to help others. Even in the last few months of her life she didn't go down without a fight, wanting her legacy to be one of love and hope. It's her memory that may be the key to redeeming Mr. Lee in the future of A.T.O.M.

- Ben Florian x Paige: Again not much else to say but they're the antithesis of Mal x Ben. One thing that bothers me about Mal & Ben is that they are supposed to be equals when it's pretty darn obvious from the scenes they were not. With PaigeBen it's clear that they ARE equals who respect each other. Ben's agency isn't reduced to just love interest, he has someone he has good communication with and wants to see him succeed. Paige has someone who shares her interests and see her more than just that One American Newbie. They LEARN to work together without love potions involved. Plus we haven't had a commoner Disney Princess in a while so Paige fills in as someone who works her way into high status then uses that status to help others with Ben at her side.

That's enough of my Canon x OC OTPs! I hope to explore them more throughout the year :) I work hard to flesh out my OCs and their romantic storylines as if they're real 💚😌

I do have KayLeo week planned for Feb 14 to Feb 21 so don't be shocked when I start posting rottmnt stuff or art of Kaysha! Anyways these are my personal ships that I enjoy despite the lack of content I made of them, so hopefully I have the creative juices flowing to make more stuff! Ouija Board

(This is the first oneshot I’ve posted on here. This wasn’t really a request, it was just an silly little idea I came up with on my own. I would love some feedback or constructive criticism!)

~Written in April's journal, told from April's POV~

August 28th,

My Ouija Board Experience,

It was a calm, Friday night. It's been a tradition in the Hamato Lair to have a game night every Friday night ever since I brought "Sorry" a couple weeks after the turtles first brought me the the Lair. The tradition has grown ever since then, as we've made more allies and they've brought new games to the mix. This particular night, the turtles and I were chilling in the living room of the lair, waiting for guests to arrive. We were expecting Casey, Karai, and Shinigami.

One by one, everyone showed up as Raph and Mikey argued over what pizza we should order. They finally settled the argument and Mikey went out to retrieve the pizza. I wasn't paying much attention, I was too wrapped up in the magazine I was reading. Around 7:30, all the guests had arrived, and we were just waiting on Casey to arrive with the new board game he said he'd bring. It was unusual for Casey to buy new games for game night, but none of us put too much thought into it. By this point, Mikey had already come back with the pizzas.

"Come on!" Mikey exclaimed, getting very impatient. "We've been waiting for almost a half an hour now! Where is he!"

"If he takes any longer I'll shove his board game up his-!" Raph was cut off by Casey casually walking in the lair entrance with a shopping bag in hand. "What took you so long?!"

"Sorry dude, the line at the store was huge!"

"What's in the bag?" Leo asked, pointing to the plastic bag dangling in Casey's hand. A square box was bending at the bag, threatening to break the thin plastic open at any moment.

"Oh, just a board game." Well that much was obvious.

Casey took the box out of the bag, purposely hiding the front from us and walked into the kitchen. I glanced over at Donnie, to see that he was just as confused as I am.

"This can't be good." Karai got up from her seat on the couch and made her way into the kitchen. We all followed. The lights were off in the kitchen, and Casey was lighting candles.

"Dude, what the fuck are you doing?" Raph asked, obviously annoyed. Casey just snickered.

"I'm setting up the board game." The raven said in a sly tone.

"What's the game?" Leo demanded to know.

"It's a Ouija Board." Casey sang out, not looking up from the last candle he was lighting. The brothers looked at each other. I have played with Ouija boards in the past. I'm pretty sure Karai and Shini have too, so we're not really scared of them. The turtles, however, had never played with one before, and I could tell they were all frightened.

"What!" Leo exclaimed, raising his arms in the air with a distasteful expression. "We can't play with that thing! Those things summon spirits!"

"What, are you too chicken to play?" Raph cackled, a devilish smirk on his face. Even though he was pretending to be brave, I could tell he was just as scared of the game as the rest of his brothers were. "You can't possibly be scared of that thing. It's a harmless board game."

"I'm not scared of it!" Leo defended himself. He looked around at everyone, and saw that none of us were buying it. "Fine, I'll play!"

We all took a seat around the table. The Ouija Board was facing Casey, giving me a 10.5 o’clock view of the board.

"I love these types of games!" Shini exclaimed, unable to hold in her excitement anymore. She opened the box and set it up. "Karai, remember when we contacted a spirit back in Japan?"

"Yeah, the spirit was fucking lame though. He only answered questions with yes or no answers."

"Okay, everyone, put your hand on the planchette." Casey instructed. We all did as he said. "We'll take turns asking questions. Who wants to go first?"

No one else volunteered, so I decided that I would give it a go. "What's your name?" I asked the most basic question I could think of. The planchette sat still for a couple seconds, before it started moving.

A - L - E - X - A - N - D - E - R

The planchette moves across the board to spell out the name 'Alexander'. I see Raph's expression fill with horror directly across from me. When he noticed me glancing at him, he quickly changed his expression back to his normal, annoyed look.

"Who's moving the piece?" Raph shouted, raising up his left arm and keeping his right hand down on the planchette. We all swore up and down that we didn't move the piece. After pressing into Mikey more, Raph gave up on interrogating and we continued the game.

"What year were you alive?" Donnie asked the next question.

1-8-6-2

The planchette moved from number to number, earning looks from everyone sitting around it.

“There’s no way it’s moving on it’s own!” Raphael was skeptical again. Karai just rolled her eyes and asked her question.

“Are you a good spirit or a bad spirit.” The kunoichi asked. The wooden planchette stayed still for a couple seconds before moving.

“No?” Leo asked, his face scrunching up in confusion. “What does it mean ‘no’?”

Crash!

The glass cup that was sitting on the counter behind them fell to the ground and shattered.

“Fuck!” Mikey jumped out of his chair, turning towards the sight. He lifted his hand off the planchette during the process. “How the hell did that happen, bros? I’m freaking out!”

“Calm down, Mikey.” Shinigami placed a comforting hand on his shoulder with a chuckle. “Relax, the spirits can’t hurt you.”

Mikey reluctantly sat back down again. It was Leo’s turn to ask a question.

“What age were you when you died?”

1-1

“Eleven.” I read out loud. “That’s terrible, poor thing.”

“Uh, how’d you die?” Raph asked after a little bit of time to think of a question.

F-I-R-E

The planchette shifted through the letters, spelling out “fire”. I assumed that meant their house burnt down.

I saw the fire flare up from a candle out of the corner of my eye, before it settled back down again. I moved my gaze upwards to see if anyone else caught that, but everyone else was to fixated on the board. I fixed my eyes back down on the board and tried to forget what happened. What the hell is going on with this thing?

It was now Casey’s turn to ask a question. I saw the corners of his mouth curl up in a smirk, which alerted me that whatever he was about to ask, it isn’t going to be pretty.

“How’s hell?” That fucking idiot. The planchette shook but remained on the E where it last moved.

“Casey, you fucking idiot!” Karai voiced my thoughts. “You’re never supposed to a spirit questions about heaven or hell!”

“This is about to get interesting.” Shinigami muttered under her breath.

G-O T-O H-E-L-L B-A-S-T-A-R-D

The spirit spelled out quickly, almost so fast that I couldn’t catch what it was saying. The fire from the candles flared up again. This time, everyone noticed as the glare from the flames bounced off the walls, adding to the creepiness of this all. I ducked down and chose to ignore it.

“Good going Casey, you made it angry!” Raph erupted.

“No, I just made this a little more interesting.” Casey pouted. “You should be glad, this game was boring.”

“Mikey, it’s your turn to ask a question.” Shinigami nudged him with her elbow.

“Uh,” He shifted uncomfortably. “What’s your favorite food?”

F-L-E-S-H

That was when it got even creepier. Flesh? What does it mean flesh?

“That’s it!” Leo jerked his hand off the planchette. “We’re not playing this anymore!”

“You can’t just chicken out now, dude! We have to wait until the spirit says goodbye!” Casey argued. Leo rolled his eyes and placed his hand back down.

“What type of flesh do you want?” Shini asked, because of course she had to ask the creepiest question she could think of.

C-A-S-E-Y-’S F-L-E-S-H

“Who’s moving it?!” Casey hollered out, looking more spooked than anyone else has tonight. “One of you has to be pushing it!”

“Obviously it’s Mikey who’s pushing it. He’s always pulling pranks on us!” Raph points his finger at Mikey in an accusatory manner. Poor Mikey, always getting blamed for everything.

“It can’t be him!” Karai defended the turtle in orange. “His teeth are clattering he’ so scared.” Mikey put his head down in embarrassment. “Plus, who’s to say it’s not you who’s moving it, Raph! You pull these kind of things too!”

“It’s not me!” Raph defended himself, getting more and more heated.

“It could be any of us who are moving it!” Casey spoke up. “The only way we can tell if someone is cheating is if we all put our heads down and let April read it.”

“Why me?” I didn’t want to be stuck reading off of the Ouija Board on my own. But, the more I thought about it, this was the only way we can figure out if this is real or not. “Fine, I’m in.”

Everyone promptly put their heads down and I took my hand off the planchette. I set my phone up to record everything that was happening so I could show them what happened afterwards. It’s my turn to ask a question.

“Uh, d-did you have any siblings?” I asked awkwardly. The planchette moved.

“Holy shit” I muttered, almost speechless. That’s when I realized no one had been cheating. The planchette was actually moving on it’s own.

“What happened?” Leo asked. His voice was muffled into his arm, and it took a second for me to process what he had asked.

“The planchette moved to three.” I mumbled out, my eyes were locked on the planchette.

“No way! You’re just trying to scare us!” Raph countered.

“Look up! It did move!” I defended myself quickly, not wanting to be accused of lying. Raph lifted his head up and scrunched his nose up at the sight, speechless.

“H-.....How?” He muttered, though it was barely audible at all. Mikey lifted his head up and looked, too.

“The spirit is real, bros!” He cried out. Everyone else lifted their heads up and looked at the board in, seeing that the planchette had indeed moved while they had their heads down.

“Maybe.... maybe it’s just a coincidence. How about we all put our heads down and Donnie will ask the next question.” Leo stuttered. He wasn’t sure what to do in this situation. They all put their heads down and Donnie asked the next question. I checked to make sure my phone was still recording.

“What were your sibling’s names?” He asked. I knew he asked that specific question because it required a long answer to be given.

T-H-O-M-A-S J-A-M-E-S P-H-I-L-I-P

I gasped. This confirms that the planchette had been moving on it’s own. The spirit was real. I didn’t know what to say out loud. I was in shock, I didn’t know what to say or do now. In all the other Ouija Board games I’ve played, it’s always been obvious that someone was moving the planchette on their own, and I was okay with that. It was all just fun and games. But this.... this is different.

“What happened?” Casey lifted up his head to look at the board. I was snapped back to reality. All he could see was the planchette resting underneath everyone’s hands on the letter P. “What happened, Ape?”

I grabbed my phone and hit stop recording. Everyone else had lifted their heads up from their arms and gave me questioning looks. I turned on the video and fast-forwarded to Donnie’s question. Mikey leaned over my shoulder to watch while everyone else stood behind me.

“What were your sibling’s names?” Donnie’s voice was muffled through my speaker. There was a strange static noise covering the audio. The planchette was clearly being moved, the letters were a little hard to discern with the bad camera quality. They spelled out exactly what I saw before. Thomas, James, and Philip.

What we saw next scared us all shitless.

A shadowy, small figure, stepped into view at the kitchen door for three seconds before seemingly disappearing into the darkness of the lair.

I could hardly believe my eyes. I questioned what I saw but when I looked at everyone else’s expressions, I knew that it indeed had happened.

After that, we stopped playing. We packed the board away and walked out of the kitchen one by one, going back to whatever activities we were doing before.

Even though we tried to forget, things weren’t really the same after that. Weird things started happening in the lair. Things would fall in the other room, lights would turn on and off, all the basic things you hear about hauntings. But that wasn’t all.

The boys all experienced nightmares and sleep paralysis at night, seeing shadowy figures in the corners of the room or next to their beds. This type of stuff isn’t normal for them.

I’m writing this a month later. I hope things go back to normal soon.
