The way you smiled at me whenever you saw me.

take me back to the night you first texted me "hi!"

take me back to the time when we both shared earphones, and listened to soulful music together.

music which binded us together. music which got us closer. playlists we made for and with each other.

Take me back to the night when we talked for hours and hours, not getting enough of each other.

The fire, the spark, the excitement, the happiness, the high, the pure joy of getting to know someone and loving someone so hard.

Take me back to the night we confessed.

Take me back to the night we looked into each other's eyes, drowning in them. Communicating with a language only we both would understand. The silence, so peaceful, so calming.

okay i dont know if i like the fact that they went to the casino to meet hermes. like i get they needed a REASON to go there but he was literally worthless other than giving them transportation to santa monica and idk i personally feel like him introducing inklings of his backstory with luke was a little disheartening just cuz i feel like it takes away from the suspense of the book. i do get the point of it though because it makes it easier to understand luke's perspective and contextualizes why he betrays the gods and it makes luke's betrayal just THAT much more heratbreaking because hermes is desperate to fix his relationship with him but im still a little upset about it. and also if not for hermes then there would be litreally no reason for percy annabeth and grover to even go to the lotus casino if they already figured out that it's going to try to trap them but at that point it def feels a little like a forced change to the plot. like the lotus casino is so iconic that they didnt want to get rid of it even though with the way they changed it so that the trio knows right away it's going to try to trap them, it makes no sense for them to go there unless they HAD to which is why hermes was there at all (and it was still worhtless becuase he didnt actually help much). i think this might have been my second least fav change even though i get why they did it.

Started playing through Lynx’s Companion Quest today and I kinda half-expected it to be a wholesome camping adventure but on the other hand, I didn’t expect it to also involve lore regarding Pela too as well!! (After the poor girl got shafted in the Beloborg Arc pretty hard and only appeared in Adventure Missions + Museum Event in the 1.1 update)

Also…

There’s way too many Pelynx moments in this and I accept it.

Also, we found a flash drive involving Penya, Pela’s mum, so that it can be for Pela to see and…

IT’S UTTERLY HERATBREAKING TO SEE PELA CRY!!! 🥺😭

Also, because of Pela, Lynxy seems to want to change the way she talked to Serval and Gepard, after being annoyed by them even after she is an adult.

This quote is a little heratbreaking :( I feel like Tyrion empatize with Tywin's treatment of Cersei a little. Your post about them and Robert made me think of that.

yes! i do think the lannister trio understands how tywin's domineering affected each of them, in a way that nobody else could. jaime might have been tywin's most favored child but he still displays a... certain fear of him in the scenes when he disappoints tywin by turning down the chance to leave the KG, when he won't touch cersei in front of tywin's corpse, when he feels conflicted over what happened with tyrion and tysha.

cersei's feelings toward tyrion pre-joff's murder are only hinted at in her POVs which are unreliable on the subject of tyrion (so so so wish we'd gotten her POV in asos when she was interacting with both tywin and tyrion to know more), but we know she at least realizes that jaime didn't measure up to tywin's expectations.

the tragedy being that the three of them never find the language to name this shared pain, that somehow their squabbles prevent them from ever uniting in a way that might throw tywin off his game. or heaven forbid be therapeutic. the worst being jaime & tyrion's split, because it had so much potential except they run out of time, run out of compassion. with tywin's death in combination with all that's passed between them, i just don't see the three of them moving to find common ground on the basis of their raising in twow/ados.

They order pizza and have a rewatch of their favorite comfort show/movie. Tommy falls asleep first and Newt doesn't dare to wake him but since they're all cuddled up against each other Newt's doomed to not move for at least half the night until Thomas sleepily blinks up at him. Then Newt has to force him to go to the bathroom cause tooth hygiene is important and Tommy's too tired to make rational decisions.

This one is really hard! I've got a whole playlist with songs for them and they all somehow represent them... mostly their relationship in canon... so they're basically all about heratbreak.
