Wait, people think Carver is the best TWDG villain?? I always thought he was basic as hell, and the fact that he was beefing with an 11-years old girl... Now Stranger on the other hand was great, he was super intimidating and off-putting and I was genuinely so scared he would hurt Clementine. I also liked Minnie for the same reasons (she was so creepy/off-putting), but I still think Stranger is the best villain bc he had a great setup while Minnie was kind of a secondary villain. But going back to Lilly/Carver, I also definitely prefer Lilly over Carver even though neither are my favorite... And now I'm kind of curious how you would rank the rest of the TWDG villains? 🤔

carver being the best villain is a sentiment ive heard for years 😭 im sure its coming from the "S2 is the best season" crowd tho which i also dont agree with 💀

the stranger is an effective villain. hes not exactly the typical villain type people expect. but hes very unsettling and him stalking clementine for who even knows how long through the walkie talkie is 🤢 he really makes me feel sick. she was using that talkie to deal with the loss of her parents, and this fucking creep took advantage of that so hard he was able to convince her to trust him. ugh he makes me feel so gross. and think of all the guilt clem must have about that situation. trusting this freak to help her find her parents, when if she had just stayed then lee wouldnt have gotten bit looking for her, and her parents were already dead the entire time anyway. oof. theres no way that isnt one of the biggest regrets of her life

carver is fine. i definitely think his character wouldve made more sense if they put kenny in that role instead. that way theres less "i am a grown man beefing with an 11 year old" and more "this is a child i helped look out for once, and im gonna make sure shes raised Right". but i agree that carver as he is is just over the top. overly villainous to the point of it being a little comical. like when villains are all tough like that my reaction is usually "god i WISH youd fucking kill me already so i dont have to hear your bullshit anymore do you know how GOOFY you sound??". if it was kenny in that role i definitely think they wouldve been able to tone it back a bit, and him "having a good side" wouldve been way more believable. as he is carver is kind of one note

joan.... definitely the weakest of the bunch. i dont really have much to say about her. david isnt even technically a villain but i definitely saw him as the better antagonist for the season. i mean hes definitely a villain in clems eyes. and is a constant semi-antagonist towards javi throughout the whole season. joans just kinda.. there.. doing things behind the scenes to cause conflict until the final confrontation. and then she can just disappear... okay

i like the way the antagonists work in S4. theres more of a discussion around what actually makes someone a villain and the difference between a person who fucked up and made (very horrible) mistakes, and a person who is straight up a threat. and i like that it connects back to the idea of lee and his murder of that senator. did he do something horrible? yes. did he destroy his relationship to his family? yes. does he regret what he did? i think so. and he definitely has guilt about his fucked up relationship with his wife. in S1 they mention how non-guilty people got sent to prison all the time. while lee is Definitely a murderer, we get to see over the season that hes a good guy who just wanted a family and in a moment of rage and betrayal did something he can never take back. this is why i never hated marlon. did he fuck up and do horrible things? of course. but he was a scared fucked up teen leading a group of other scared fucked up teens. he knows he fucked up, and continued fucking up to cover for his previous fuck ups lol. but he can be talked down. its a shame it ends the way it does, but i really like being able to teach aj the difference between people like marlon and people like lilly

lilly takes that kenny/carver idea and applies it to a clementine that has grown up and has been looking out for herself (and baby aj) for years now, instead of the 11 year old trying to figure shit out she was in S2. shes too old for lilly to be able to sway her in a way she couldve been more susceptible to in S2, and when lilly finally realizes this she just turns her attention to aj instead, seeing the potential in him (a potential clem does NOT want aj to live up to, wanting him to get to be a kid and not just a survivor, let alone a killer). lilly is fun because you can see in her that she WANTS clementine on her side, and throughout the season progressively realizes that its just never going to happen. both lilly AND clem come to the realization that this person they once considered family is beyond reason, their views too different, and so the fighting begins. their fight at the end of EP3 really feels like a "so its finally come to this" moment for both of them, their final fight. i always shoot her.

whats interesting about minnie is seeing her evolve from secondary antagonist in EP3 to straight up primary villain in EP4. the things shes done, the way shes been broken. she becomes her own downfall, seeing herself as someone beyond redemption. that this is just who she is now, its how things have to be. because if they didnt have to be this way? well then theres a lot more guilt she'd have to deal with. yelling at her in EP4 to just STOP FOR THE LOVE OF GOD YOU DONT HAVE TO DO THIS ANYMORE but she has been changed (in her eyes) so irreparably that she cant see any other option. and she progressively sees clem as the one who fucked everything up for her, instead of accepting that it could all finally be OVER. after killing sophie, the delta was all she had left. it cant have all been for nothing. and so she blames clem for taking it all away from her, even tho clem is just trying to protect her family. the family that used to be minnies. and so in her rage she gets bit. something else that she couldve avoided. but shes just too lost to her own downward spiral, unable to be reasoned with. by that point she just wants it all to be Over. and she wants to take tenn with her so she can finally pretend things can all go back to the way they used to be. her, sophie, tenn, and their parents all together again, where no more bad things have to happen to them. shes super tragic and i love her for that. and i love how she holds this dark mirror up to clem. clem struggles to let go of her past too, and the guilt she has over the things shes done and people shes hurt. and that if she cant learn to let go and move on she could get lost to it the same way minnie did. theres a reason clem is so quick to accept her fate, but shes finally able to leave that guilt holding her to her past behind in that barn. and she returns to ericson a much happier and lighter person, so much weight finally lifted from her shoulders. its finally over for her too

so yeah. my fave villains are definitely the S4 ones due to their nuance and layers. then the stranger, then carver, then joan. if i had to put david on this list he'd probably be above carver. but thats mainly because he has more nuance than carver ever did

Not doing all of them but

Ryu: Barbie. Probably got dragged into it by Sakura. Didn't get most of it but he liked it. Hopes Ken is doing allright ("I too know what it's like to struggle with my worst self") and gifts his Ken a "I am Kenough" shirt.

Ken: Mel wanted to watch Oppenheimer and Ken went along with him. Mel liked it, but Ken got bummed out at the story of a neglectful husband and father trying his best to help people and ruining lives over it.

Chun-Li: Her and Li-Fen went to Barbie in matching outfits. The mother's speech in the middle of the movie really, really resonated with her.

E. Honda: Goes to Barbie screenings painted pink to promote his business. If you even think about suggesting Oppenheimer to him he will slap you and you will deserve it.

Blanka: Barbie. Loved it, a little confused but trying to get the spirit, called up his mom and Sakura later to apologize in case he ever oppressed them or made them feel inadequate. Look out for pink variants of Blanka-chan in stores soon.

Guile: Neither, but his family dragged into Barbie. Spent most of it stone-faced but by the time of the Just Ken musical battle number he did crack up a bit.

Dhalsim: Neither.

Zangief: Went to Barbie with R.Mika. Laughed so loudly during the movie you could hear it outside the room. Launches an all-women wrestling course because he thinks muscle power is the solution to misogyny as it is to everything. Marisa enrolls in for a laugh.

Balrog: Neither. Thinks long movies suck and wouldnt be caught dead attending a girl movie.

Vega: Enjoyed both from a reserved patrician distance, couldnt relate to either of the protagonists in any way. Offended by the existence of Weird Barbie and the scenes with old women in it.

Sagat: Neither. But if one of the kids at his village asked, he would go watch Barbie with them and pretend he had a good time, would heavily criticize Ken for betraying his community in vain pursuits of power.

M. Bison: Barbie, and he likes it, not even for any nefarious reason. Doesn't care to watch Oppenheimer, 3 hours of a guy getting cold feet about doing something that Bison happily does at home for free (murdering scores of innocent civilians).

Cammy: Oppenheimer. Only attended Barbie because the other Dolls asked her to, but she didn't think much of it.

Dee Jay: Barbie, and he had a great time. Plays his own remixes of Just Ken and Dance the Night for several nights at the club afterwards.

Akuma: Neither. If he did, he would quit Oppenheimer in the first minutes, in disgust at Oppenheimer's weakness for trying to murder his teacher with a poisoned apple instead of his bare hands.

Dan: Didn't plan to watch either but people kept seeing him in the street and assuming he was on his way to watch Barbie. After doing so, he tries to aggressively rebrand the Saikyo Dojo as a feminist dreamhouse over the following weeks and fails.

Nash: Oppenheimer. Didn't feel anything other than sadness.

Rose: Doesn't enjoy movies very much, her powers predict the entire plot before it happens, but still went to watch Barbie with Menat and Maggio.

Sodom: Neither, but protests Oppenheimer screenings in defense of Japan and genuine disgust over the movie's subject matter, runs away crying whenever it's pointed out that he's a white jock.

Rolento: Disliked Oppenheimer for the protagonist being a lily-livered coward who couldnt stand by his own choices in defense of the country.

Sakura: Barbie. Had fun, but the parts where Barbie punches a guy and outruns the police and the mother outfoxes the Mattel executives in a car chase is kinda what she wished most of the movie was like, dissappointed only the Kens got to fight.

Gen: Neither. Dead.

Cody: Barbie. Liked it fine, I guess, wasn't boring.

Dudley: Went with Elena to watch Barbie. Found it a smashing good time and felt offended at how rudely the Kens treated the Barbies when they took over.

Necro: Cried during both with Effie. Barbie's crisis over her humanity and her moment at the bench really got to him.

Hugo: Went with Poison to watch Barbie. Enjoyed it more than she did, found himself relating a lot to the tiny violent Allan man who belongs nowhere.

Makoto: Barbie. Didn't like the daughter's character arc one bit and walked out of it hating Barbie as a concept more .

Rufus: Went to Barbie at Candy's insistence and my God you could not get this man to shut up about it for days afterwards. Added feminist to the list of self-aggrandizing adjectives he uses.

Seth: Pre-Doll Zero, he would have watched Oppenheimer and not liked it for it's preoccupation with pathetic human morality. Post-Doll Zero, he would resonate unbelievably hard with Barbie's arc and have a breakdown over the ending.

Juri: Saw both. Spend the entirety of Oppenheimer browsing her phone and making loud bomb/fart noises with her mouth and laughing. Thought Barbie sucked.

Poison: Went with Hugo to watch Barbie and kept planning ways to cash in the pink/Barbie craze for her business. Thought the movie was funny but kinda dumb.

Rashid: Barbie, really really liked it. Pirates the movie before it's out on digital to make a reaction stream and gets sued over it.

F.A.N.G: Oppenheimer. Besides the skin melting scene, dissappointed at how little it showed the scientific process behind building an atomic bomb or civilians dying, he kinda signed up just for those things.

Luke: Liked both, really wants to have his own Mojo Dojo Casa House and, besides the whole oppressing women thing which is totally uncool, doesn't think the Kens were doing anything that wrong.

Jamie: Wanted to watch Barbie but drunkenly wandered into Oppenheimer by mistake and had a really bad time.

Manon: Criticizes Barbie for muddled politics and found Barbie apologizing to Ken at the end viscerally disgusting.

Marisa: Neither. Went to watch Meg 2 because watching action stars fight a giant rampaging shark seemed like more of a good time to her. Thought the first one was a lot better.

JP: Majority shareholder at Mattel stock, politely claps during the screening.

AKI: Has spent the last weeks furiously testing out poisons on various plastics and chasing down Mattel executives for intel. Has a cunning plan to take over Barbieland and gift it to her master.

Hey, can i request some of the horror characters react to a massive black shadow demon thing that can take any form of anything but mostly stays in a puppet form that is a human, the only thing is their eyes are a different colour so they wear sun glasses when out and about, but they hide what they are really well they seem so human? When Chucky first saw you, he knew something was wrong with you. He just didnt know what.

He was sitting in alleyway by the bins as people passed by but than he saw you.

'You wore sunglasses on a cloudy day? What the hell is wrong with you? You blind or something?'

His suspicions were confirmed when you stopped walking than walked into the alley than looked down at him and spoke to him.

'I can hear you're heartbeat. You're a human in a doll's body.'

Chucky was simply glaring up at you, not trusting you one bit but also a bit unsettled.

'How the fuck can you tell? What the fuck are you? an ailen?'

When he saw you take off your sunglasses, than he noticed the fact you're eye's were fully black with a yellow pupli's.

'I think the word would be demon or entity.'

'Yeah, i guess entity explains it'

Maxine "Max" Coleman.

Max was playing in the park, being careful to not slip in the snow.

She was running around and accidently ran into someone, she turned around and looked up at the person.

You.

She signed to you, not thinking you probably didnt understand sign language.

'Sorry.'

She signned, it took you a second or two for you to understand it, once you did, you signed back to her.

'It's alright.'

You than crouched down to be at Max's eye level, you smiled at her, she was much cuter than any human child that you have seen.

'What's your name?'

'I'm Maxine.'

She was so happy you knew how to sign, she was happy she met someone other than he family that knew how to sign.

You two signned for a while before Max's mother, kate came over and quickly grabbed her hand gently and pulled her away from you.

You stood up as Kate grabbed max's hand.

'Sorry, i didn't mean to make you uncomfortable for talking with you're child.'

Max tried signning to her mother saying you were good, but kate didnt trust you.

Kate walked away from you with Max.

Max looked back at you and waved bye as she was dragged away by her mother.

Luckliy she didnt notice you're eyes, it wouldnt been bad.

'She was such a sweet and cute but naive child.'

Freddy did notice you walking around when he was still alive, he didn't think too much about it.

But after he died, he couldn't find your dreams.

Like at all.

It confused him to no end but he was also frustrated that he couldn't get in you're dreams.

That was untill one day, he ended up in a weird place.

It looked like the living world, but it also didn't.

There were distant screaming from all sort of people.

Men, women, children.

It didn't scare him but it didn't make him feel at ease at all.

'Where the hell am i?'

He thought to himself as he looked around, than he noticed you.

Staring at him with your arm's crossed.

'You...?'

Freddy stares at you, he was ready to attack you but something stopped him, like he couldn't move.

'Mhm, Don't think i wouldn't pick up on your habit with killing kid's in their sleep, interesting way of killing if you asked me.'

You took off your sunglasses off and threw them somewhere.

Your eyes black with yellow puplis, you weren't human.

i see it like a hills have eyes/texas chainsaw sitch where brian and alex "inherited" a house somewhere bc they lizzie bordened their way out of the town they grew up in and got married legally w alex on the books as the wife - they raise livestock and kill for fun and eventually take tim in bc brian finds him out in the fields stumbling around covered in blood. amy hires them to have her parents killed and ends up sticking around to murder dudes who beat their wives.

jays an independent journalist on a roadtrip to research like. god even fucking knows what. but his cars a piece of shit so it breaks the fuck down of course in the middle of nowhere and he stands around kicking it and yelling in the rain until a truck stops and the most handsome guy jays ever seen steps out and offers to help haul it to his place. he'll at least give jay a ride, theres no service out here. (he doesnt really give room to refuse.)

so jay rides out to this guys brothers? place? brothers? wifes? the guy doesnt really talk. and theres a girl on the porch, and shes pretty and blonde and she tells him to come in and have a drink- jay asks if shes the brothers wife and she laughs and tells him shes the sister in law. "or something like that". and he didnt really ask what the drink was, but its like? sweet tea? but wrong? but these nice people in alabama wouldnt fuck up sweet tea. jay smoked a joint in the car. thats it. and the brother comes out and hes better looking than the guy with the truck, almost, which like where the fuck did he go? he said he'd get jay a phone- but theyre taking him out to the kitchen- the brothers wifes cooking and she wants to meet him, and shes pretty too, tall and smart-looking, deep voice- big fucking knife in her hand- and is it jay or is it getting kinda fucking dark in here.

idk i think it wld be fun if they made a game of "letting him go" and just letting him get halfway down a hallway before somebody else drags him into a bedroom lol . brian lets his darling little wife and her meat cleaver wear him out and cuts the rope on his wrists- thats enough for tonight, isnt it? he oughta be going. and jay crawls, stumbles bleeding and disbelieving out into the hall - clutching the railing and hyperventilating and putting one foot in front of the other and - amy snags her arm in his. you arent going so soon, are you mister? oh gosh youre hurt ! come here, let me clean you up- and she ties him back up and asks if hes ever tried makeup and asks if hes ever tried s&m and asks if he wants to see a dead body and when his mascaras running and the dead girls dress she put him in is ripped and stained and half-on she tells him if he really wants to go that bad ... she cant really stop him ..... only for tim to scoop him up in the hall and pull the skirt up to fuck him over the railing, stoic as anything, knife at his throat

and theyre gonna kill him but they all keep putting it off bc hes cute and maybe stockholm syndroming the tiniest bit and maybe definitely was a freak to begin with and keeps getting hard when theyre doing fucked up shit to him and complimenting the human furniture

finally put together my thoughts about last glass chapter, idk how comprehensible it all is but I dont have the words to praise it how it deserves

the use of the pythia in the ch27 is super interesting to me

there are moments where I wonder if he doesnt have a bit of a hard time letting go of the pythia title, its all he had for a big part of his life after all, it was what have him purpose in life

and the problem wasnt inheritly in the title or the role, it was in the rules and how he was treated, he deserved to be respected as a person even when he was the pythia

that cechovs syringe was really cool, at first it was scary bc the priests intentions were definitely to use it on wilbur and I really like how it went from a fear factor to our saving grace AND created wilburs whole dilemma about taking tommy away from his goddess but saving him

by having the priest have it at first and wilbur taking it it felt really smoothly incorporated into the story instead of wilbur just finding it somewhere or something

I hate how they blame wilburs change on the deathlings, the fact that he turned against clara, the tattoo choice, everything

even now its like they cant give credit for any decisions, for having a mind of his own and just cant imagine being a person without being the pythia

or even that hes someone while having the role of the pythia

and it just hurts to see so much

thats why schlatts change in attitude mustve hurt so much

clara failed wilbur and the other pythias that came before him so bad

like I understand that all those rules are man-made, but it feels like she should protect them when she uses them for her visions yk

is the curse real? like do you personally work with it as real? or is that something left up for interpretation (or will we learn next chapter maybe)? bc tommy was cursed and he did die but at the same time coming to the palace was dangerous in nature and the actual killing was enacted as jacks revenge and that has been going on way longer than tommy was cursed, everyone cursed was kinda set up for their death beforehand they even got cursed in a way

whether it is real or not it was yet another thing that built up to the moment of Wilbur deciding to save tommy and played a big role in it bc it was thanks to the curse that wilbur knew that tommy doesnt want to die and has been praying to krisitin bc of it and it looked like shes ignoring him and all this helped wilbur decide to save him

and I think he wouldnt have saved tommy without knowing all this. it goes against the deathlings' religion (at least i think? it was murder so im not sure sure but I think it was wrong on jacks side but on tommys side I dont think it matters how he died but taking him away from death is wrong) and tommy actually worshiped kristin of his own choice and wilbur knows that and he also knows what its like not to be respected

now ofc I cant be sure what wilbur wouldve done bc that crimeboys bond is STRONG and also in the heat of the moment, accounting it was murder and all, but still

oh my god

writing this I realised that you could say THE CURSE SAVED TOMMYS LIFE this is insane I am obsessed, I think this look on it makes it all really beautiful, storytelling wise

very interested in how theyll handle the fact that jack tried to kill tommy bc honestly this situation was very different from when tommy did it, it was PLANNED

glass!jack and glass!niki you are so interesting to me I am rotating you in my brain constantly, their path of thinking has captured me

I hope that schlatts confession about his opinion on the visions helps wilbur make his peace a bit, bc while it doesnt excuse how schlatt treated wilbur, it explains it and also shows that it wasnt wilburs fault that he was failing his role as the pythia when schlatt didnt listen bc he was basically set up to fail from the start

and yes wilbur is parting with his role as the pythia but this might still help him recover, bc at least he wasnt so bad at his one job all these year

and if it doesnt help at least we got schlatt calling wilbur pretty boy, obsessed

I love how in reaction to what schlatt says wilbur feels the pythia dying in the palace and leaving it behind

what a banger chapter, so much happened and it was all so interesting

all that happened and mainly the stuff around tommys dying just showa so perfectly what this story has been telling us this whole time, what the main theme is basically, and that is that in the end you when it matters the only one you can rely on is yourself, not some god and the scene with wilbur saving tommy and kristin not being there really pushes this on you so well I love it sm

rn im just putting all my hope on phil and the deathlings to save wilbur from being forced to be the pythia again

also probably very hypothetical question but im thinking about if wilbur got the option to kinda peacefully step out of his role of the pythia by getting a vision about the next one if he would do it or wouldnt bc he would refuse to bring that fate onto someone else

aaaa thank you, yes I really enjoyed playing around with using the pythia vs wilbur in this chapter. it's hard because I wanted the chapter to be mostly wilbur, but there were key moments where I knew he was going to slip back into the pythia mindset, mostly when he's talking to the priest and later to schlatt. it's not necessarily he's having a hard time letting go of the title, it's that he's spent so much of his life in this mindset that he's not a person, that he's supposed to be wholly devoted to this goddess that he keeps slipping in and out of that mental space.

I'm glad the syringe felt smoothly incorporated!! I was worried it would feel like too much of a "this is a surprise tool that will help us later" bit and while it definitely still was, I wanted it to be tied into what was going on and the worldbuilding and everything

I mean, wilbur has spent the last decade acting as a completely dedicated pythia. then he's gone for a little over half a year and suddenly he's gotten a tattoo and severed his ties to clara and is working with the deathlings? from the priests perspective you can kind of see how it's a bit difficult to believe he got there on his own. especially when they think of becoming the pythia as the highest honor anyone can attain, and how the dehumanizing aspects are meant to be more revered and honorable than anything else

oooo that's an interesting question about the curse. this is going to sound like a cop out answer but I swear it's not, I genuinely haven't decided if the curse is real or not. in a way I think of it like schrodinger's curse. it's both real and not real at the same time. all of the deaths can be explained away by circumstance, but that doesn't mean that the curse didn't cause them. I set it up so that it was completely up to interpretation. I hope that makes sense?

I definitely think it was a combination of things that led to wilbur deciding to save tommy's life, but the ultimate deciding factor was simply that crimeboys have an unhealthy bond. wilbur will pull tommy back from death even if he's in the arms of his goddess, because he needs tommy by his side. tommy will fight to keep wilbur to himself and get jealous when he starts to heal and connect with other people. the two of them hurt each other because of how much they love each other. that was kind of the core of that whole thing, although I really like what you pointed out with the whole curse saving tommy's life in a way

yeah, wilbur was set up to fail from the start. and it does help him find some kind of peace with it! it wasn't his fault, he wasn't a failure. schlatt was never going to listen to him for reasons outside his control.

yessss you get it, one of the primary themes is about relying on yourself and other people before relying on goddesses that might or might not choose to help you. the deities in glass are so far above humanity they can choose what they want to help with and when, and humanity is only left to try and understand why the goddesses do what they do but they'll never really be able to.

hmm that's also an interesting question... personally I think wilbur wouldn't pass on the teachings, but even then the priests would just do it for him so it wouldn't change much. I still think he would choose not to participate though.

Ngl, Far Harbour is actually an amazing and fun DLC. It made me the most emotional i've ever been playing through a video game and I got so attached to some of the characters, and despite the writing flunks, it was a pretty solid DLC, in my opinion.

But there is one major issue I have with it, and it's that, as the player, you're SEVERELY limited in what you can do.

When I was going through, I made the decision to not tell Avery she was a synth. When I went back to do the Replace Tectus ending, I also did some quests for the people of Far Harbour to be trusted by them. There was one point where I had to talk to Avery to advance a quest, and it WOULD NOT let me advance that quest until I told her she was a synth. I tried. All the options were either to end dialogue or some varying degree of "You're a synth, Avery," until I told her and THEN it let me talk to her about the quest. I was so frustrated by it.

I also remember having to dismiss Nick at some point because my actions were just upsetting him too much when I was trying to get the Children to like me so I could get inside the Nucleus. Like, why couldn't I somehow explain to him that I was going "undercover" to help everyone out?? He's a detective, he'd understand that whatever I'm talking about is just to butter them up and that I don't actually mean anything that I'm telling them, right??

Not to mention, when you uncover stuff about DiMa, or the Children, or the people of Far Harbour, you're pretty much forced into this stringed out series of events rather than being able to intervene in certain situations. Like, why can't we intervene with DiMa's death? I understand that's their law, but we seriously aren't even given the choice to say anything, and we're forced to watch him be murdered like a bystander who hasn't been waist-deep in this situation the entire time?

(On a side note: I understand the limitations they established with the 4-option dialogue Fallout 4 has, among the limitations in potentially making this DLC more "fleshed out" than is already is, but c'mon. I felt like I was just a guard rail for a bowling ball towards a certain ending rather than being the person who threw the ball itself.)

[Also extra side note: It's been literal years since I played that DLC so there's some things I may not analyze well or misremember

i agree 100%. there was always some sort of railroading or limitation when it came to far harbor. its def not just a part of the 4 option dialogue, i think there couldve been a lot of improvements to give the player more options of actions even with the limited dialogue trees.

also on ur note, i wish we couldve pulled a bit with nick and go undercover with him. would love to see some actual sleuthing and lying thru ur teeth with nick giving you the thumbs up behind you. maybe there couldve been a part where nick pulls you aside after that and is like hey that was cool and all but you sounded really convincing. hope that aint how you really feel. and you can reassure him it was a bit, or that yeah its how you really feel, etc. make a joke (sarcasm option). i think it couldve made that part of the game a lil more fun and you wouldnt have to piss nick off bc all the companions dont understand what lying is due to game mechanics.

Moon 0 - Beginnings and Bereavement

CW for manipulation, emotional abuse, graphic death, gore, and murder of a spouse.

Bloomheart sat in camp, eyes closed as the sun shone upon his fur. He took a deep breath in… held it… deep breath out. He opened his eyes when he heard pawsteps coming into camp. A hunting patrol. He noticed a masked gray tabby she-cat, a long-furred pale smoke and white tom, and a black rosette tom each carrying a piece of prey. The masked she-cat had a squirrel, and carried it to the nursery. One of the kits, a black tabby she-cat, immediately ran over and took the squirrel. Bloomheart knew her to be named Rainkit. She was only a moon old, and had been newly weaned. The black rosette tom, Ravenswoop, was her father. Her mother, Shatterfeather, was watching her.

Bloomheart expected the kit to start eating the squirrel, and was horrified when she batted it across the clearing. She chased it, and batted it back in the direction of the nursery. Bloomheart rose to his paws and padded over. He cast a glance at Shatterfeather. She seemed a bit uncomfortable too. Her eyes met his, and he put a paw in between the kit and the squirrel. “Rainkit, you shouldn’t play with your food. It gave its life to help sustain yours. It deserves respect.” He mewed gently. Rainkit looked up at him with big kitten eyes. “Sowwy…” She mewed, lowering her head. Bloomheart purred. “It’s okay little one. Just be more ca-” he was cut off by a hiss, as Ravenswoop approached him. “Leave her alone, Bloomheart. She was just having fun. The squirrel is dead, what does it matter?” He growled. Bloomheart’s ears turned back. “I didn’t mean to overstep my bounds, Ravenswoop, but the squirrel made a noble sacrifice.” He argued. “Noble? Ha! That squirrel ran tail-lengths before Bearchasm caught it. Squirrels dont make ‘sacrifices’. No prey does. They arent ‘noble’ or whatever other word you wanna use for them. They’re food. Nothing more.” He snarled. He turned to Shatterfeather. “Isn’t that right? Why didn’t you tell him to buzz off?” He scolded. Shatterfeather turned to Bloomheart. “Bloomheart, i… i think you should go.” She mewed, not meeting his eyes. Bloomheart glared at Ravenswoop, but he walked off. He didn’t understand what Shatterfeather could see in him. Bloomheart and Shatterfeather had been friends since kithood. He didn’t hold any romantic feelings for her himself, but he knew she deserved better than a tom that talked over her. He knew Shatterfeather had the same view on life that he did. The view that everything had a spirit in it. The view that everything around them deserves respect. He’d witnessed cats disrespecting everything lately. From plants that they trampled, to prey that kits merely played with without eating. He’d brought it up to their leader, but had just been laughed at. He couldn’t take this anymore. I don’t wanna stay with cats that cant respect the sacrifices of nature. He thought to himself. He made up his mind. Tomorrow, he’d leave, and bring any cats along with him that agreed with his feelings.

The next day, just after the dawn hunters left, Bloomheart was quick to talk to his clanmates. He spoke to Shatterfeather first. “Shatterfeather, do you want to come with me to form our own group? Like some of our former clanmates did?” He asked his friend. He’d made sure to ask when Ravenswoop was out of camp. He knew the tom wouldnt come with them, and he knew Ravenswoop would try to make Shatterfeather stay too. Shatterfeather avoided eye contact. “I.. I don’t know. I cant leave Rainkit, and.. Im worried shes too young to travel.” She mewed. Bloomheart put a paw on his friend’s shoulder. “She can come with us. She is very young, yes, but we can protect her. And i’m gonna gather more cats too. I know you feel the way i do about how our clanmates disrespect our home. We can raise her in a group where she’s taught about the sacrifices of the land in which we live, and of the spirits that keep balance between life and death.” He mewed. Shatterfeather was silent a moment longer, but finally nodded. “I’ll come. And i’ll bring Rainkit too. I’ll.. have to make sure Ravenswoop doesn’t find out though.” She mewed. Bloomheart nodded, and went to gather more cats.

It was sunhigh by the time he was done. He’d gathered a group of 10 cats, not counting himself: Bearchasm, the masked she-cat ; Mumblenose, a light brown and black mottled she-cat ; Guppydance, a silver smoke she-cat ; Robinfur, a long-furred dark brown tabby she-cat ; Rimewater, the pale smoke and white tom ; Sloepaw and Greenpaw, two of the younger cats and a long-furred dorsal-striped tom and a pale ginger smoke she-cat respectively ; Shatterfeather and Rainkit, and Pikebumble. Pikebumble was one of the senior cats, and a brown ticked she-cat. Pikebumble had asked herself if she could come. She had said it sounded like an adventure, and she hadn’t experienced much fun since she’d gotten older. Bloomheart had agreed, and the cats were about to set out. They’d gathered a bit away from camp, having all left separately so as to not raise suspicion. Bloomheart had just finished making sure everyone was ready, when a voice hissed at them.

“Traitors!” Came the angry voice of Ravenswoop. He stalked over to the group, with two other cats at his side. “Bloomheart… I knew you were full of mousedung, but i didn’t think you’d try and steal my own mate and kit away from me.” He snarled. He then glared at Shatterfeather. “I thought you were smarter than this. Do you think you and Rainkit will survive out there without me or the others to protect you? Do you think Bloomheart and his little motley crew can do anything to protect you and Rainkit?” He snarled, stepping toward her menacingly. “Stop this harebrained thinking and come back to camp. Both you and Rainkit.” Bloomheart stepped between him and the queen. “Back off, Ravenswoop. Why should she come with you? You’ve done nothing but demean and mistreat her. Unlike you, we truly do care about her and Rainkit. We’ll protect them with our lives.” He hissed. “We-” he was cut off as Ravenswoop pounced on him, claws unsheathed. Bloomheart unsheathed his claws, fighting back, as the other two cats grabbed Shatterfeather with their own claws and one lifted up Rainkit by the scruff. He saw out of the corner of his eye as they tried forcing her back to the camp. With one strong, furious kick, he dislodged Ravenswoop and pounced at the nearest of the other two cats. He dislodged the she-cat, fighting with tooth and claw. Bearchasm and Robinfur fought the other cat, making him release Rainkit and getting Rainkit over to Pikebumble and Rimewater.

After the cat Bloomheart was wrestling turned tail and fled, he turned to see Shatterfeather hissing at Ravenswoop. He stood back, watching and listening, as she spoke. “Ravenswoop.. You have done nothing but disrespect me and my opinions since we became mates. Bloomheart tried to warn me, but i didnt listen. I was too afraid to stand up to you. But im not afraid now. I shouldve done this moons ago. I will NEVER come back with you. I will NEVER give you my heart again. Now, leave us ALONE.” She yowled. Bloomheart smiled. He’d always known Shatterfeather could stand up for herself, and had been sad to see her hesitance when she became mates with Ravenswoop. He was glad to see she got her fire back now.

However, his happiness turned to fear, as Ravenswoop lunged with claws unsheathed at his former mate. He pinned her, snarling. “You mousebrain..” He hissed, before biting hard on her neck. Bloomheart saw Pikebumble cover Rainkit’s eyes, as she screamed in fear as her mother’s throat was ripped out. Bloomheart felt sick. Ravenswoop turned to the group. “Fine. Leave. We’ll be stronger without you lot.” He snarled, turning and leaving with his remaining minion at his side.

Bloomheart ran to Shatterfeather. She was choking, but managed to speak. “B-Bloom..heart… thank you… t-take… take care… of R-Rainkit…” She choked, as Rainkit ran over. “Mommy!” she wailed. Shatterfeather turned to her daughter, her gaze warm. “B-Be good… for Bloomheart. I’ll… be… watching… you…” she gasped out, as she took her last breath. Rainki wailed, burying her face in her mother’s fur. Bloomheart sat beside the kit, curling his tail around her. It was only then he’d noticed his tail was bleeding. The she-cat he fought mustve gotten it at some point when they were wrestling. He’d been so full of adrenaline, he hadn’t noticed. Mumblenose padded over and whispered, “i’ll have to take a look at that tail later.” Bloomheart nodded, as Mumblenose and the rest of the group gathered around Shatterfeather’s body. They looked to Bloomheart, and he realized they wanted him to say something. Anything.

He took a deep breath, and spoke. “Shatterfeather was my best friend since kithood. She’d always been brave and fierce, and never let anyone tell her what to do. My heart was broken when she lost that quality after becoming mates with Ravenswoop. I’m happy to see she remembered who she was, even if it was only moments before her death. I vow to protect Rainkit, as per Shatterfeather’s wishes, and i will protect the rest of you. Shatterfeather’s death will not be in vain. We’ll bury her here, so her body may provide nourishment to the soil and plants. May her spirit travel safely to the afterlife, and watch over us as we journey to new lands.” When he was silent, every cat bowed their heads, even Rainkit. Rainkit pressed herself against Bloomheart, and he knew he’d keep his promise. He’d raise Rainkit as if she were his own daughter, and he’d keep Shatterfeather in his memories. He’d teach Rainkit about the spirits of nature, and about the cycle that kept everything in balance. He knew the journey would be tough, but they could do it. Together.

tng update time. last night we watched "datalore" together and this morning i caught "angel one" on my own

datalore: not terrible!! i felt really bad for data the entire time of course. kind of delighted to find out he is amnesiac-adjacent in this episode, at least as far as not knowing where he comes from or why. i've gotten used to thinking of him as friend-shaped but lore reminded me of just how creepy he actually does look because he was making the creepy faces

the planet and lab were cool though it was hilarious that one of the pieces was just an ass with the crotch faced away from us to protect data's modesty lol

i liked the bit about data having an off switch.it is ironically such a human vulnerability. we have those too! it's called head trauma.

ik what i said about picard not being a dick anymore but i noticed he IS still a dick sometimes and it's mostly to either wesley (valid) or data (may he DIE). i was glad data told him not to call lore "it" and that he APOLOGIZED. he should apologize to data more often

lore is literally just a data who is better at masking btw. like thats all it is. he thinks using contractions makes him allistic and he's like ha ha look at me i'm better than you meanwhile he has to use a little laser to remove his own facial tick and his special interest is murdering humans and good for him

one thing i HATED about this ep was once again wesley made a valid point and everyone told him to fuck off. meanwhile whenever hes fucking around they let him do whatever he wants. this is making me CRRRAZY. all this stuff about you would have listened to me if i was an adult!! i'll kill the little brat myself

however the episode was immediately rescued by the appearance of this meme:

which sent me immediately into screaming hysterics because i was NOT expecting to see it in its original format here. i quite literally had to pause the episode and explain this meme to catherine with tears running down my face

angel one: not as bad as the skip/watch lists led me to believe (i didnt have to play it on 2x speed for example) but still pretty fucking terrible. oh what if WOMEN were in charge wouldnt that be WEIRD AND SCARY? meanwhile the women are wearing what pretends to be "no makeup" in 1987 and theyre super fucking hot

anyway, the morals of this were all over the place. they cant remove these people bc theyre not bound by the prime directive but they literally are interfering with this planet's system of laws etc...also the fact that like everyone is arguing for gender equality when the genders are reversed is all well and good when they live in a utopian society where genders are equal but we live and star trek was made in the real world where the genders are NOT equal so it just comes out sounding like but what about the meeeeen?? i mean. what about them?? sorry.

i. HATED. the b-plot of this episode. everyone's like oh no i wonder how this virus spreads! and then they allow worf to stay on the bridge while he does those dad sneezes. maybe this episode should have been before the other to explain data's sudden hyperfixation on learning to sneeze lol. like ik all infectious disease media hits different post pandemic but jesus christ we had more sense than that even BEFORE the pandemic

tonight we do 11001001, and then i'm doing the next FOUR on my own...rough.

ok so. so i made it out of midnight museum e3 alive but im gonna have to do something normal and calming for a while now because oh fuck me too many moths even like skipping scenes and cringing away from the screen. im unwell. many disorganized thoughts go here

so i Was right about dome frankly. i mean the hints were there (jib dialogue last episode + the long time no rent thing from e1) but for me it was that hes too stupid to be a full person (sorry baby i love u). like saying ‘is this normal’ about resurrection and lit. just going with whatever happens to him and running headlong into stupid situations. he literally Only just woke up. he has no brain head empty hes just doing the One thing hes been told hes good at and useful for. oh no baby :( they really keep putting him through it every episode LMAO.

got a Lot more worried khatha this episode plus a bunch more face touching. and sitting by his bedside. tor is So good with those shiny eyes of pain like … i dont know how he does that but its incredible. his face. his little tsundere look away / posture adjustment when dome woke up like you didnt literally die for this man recently. they are getting gayer each episode. again ive established i dont care about “bl status” it doesnt matter to me if they kiss but boy its just so…. they HAVE to know what theyre doing with this

i really like this show i Would Not have put myself through this for less agh. i still almost quit multiple times

bright did fucking Great this episode. im not too familiar with him, mostly from f4 thailand bits but he was so fucking creepy!!!!! tragic little murdery sadboy. what a mess. the whole house invasion scene was Sooooooooo. augh. freaky. everything he did was fucked up

i have some…. thoughts…. about the girl in this episode, rin, and her agency / lack thereof honestly. combined with the bride’s “men writing her story” thing….. its. hmmm. but i’m not sure i’m equipped to express that properly without rewatching and frankly i dont know if im capable of rewatching this episode

if i turn my lizard brain off also the vampire moths are a great horror concept and they were very aesthetically cool to someone who does not have. a lifelong fear of those fucking things

also yeah ‘cycle of death and rebirth’ confirms the reincarnation thing but i’m thinking that not only did khatha enounter past life dome / “that person” / “chan” but also like. present life pre-memories dome? and that’s why he was surprised when dome didnt remember him. it wouldnt make sense for him to be surprised a reincarnation didnt remember him. they definitely met pre-wipe

v fun to learn that june is immortal too??? but like. frankly im still so confused about her lmao. she was an immortal museum worker before this?? but she became the bride?? but they all forgot her past but she remembers being immortal and the artifacts? but she has bride magic now??? dont get me wrong i like her a lot shes great for wisdom and being the only one nice to dome but hoo boy

another day, another round of me wracking my brain trying to come up with a good fnaf timeline. this time i came to the conclusion that i should just make an au where i leave out a bunch of stuff at this point if i want to work with my own story 😭

ok this turned into a LONG rant id normally just put on my other blog but as i started here, im just gonna post it here. i also keep forgetting stuff and sometimes i come across a theory/fact that makes me go OOHH im so dumb i forgot. and it changes everything again and its probably happening again here

first, fnaf 2 is where i get stuck every single time. id love to just leave at least the toys out, sorry mangle. second, i just cant wrap my head around the whole "charlie was the first victim" idea because we get introduced to all this where we see the puppet in the toys location and the withereds.. it becomes too confusing for me. is it at the same location? was the puppet with the ogs and the toys were added later? i would say the toys are irrelevant and havent been added until the ogs were withered. anyway, i believe will could have stuffed the kids into the ogs prior to killing charlie, which would make more sense if the puppet was possessed later and then gave them life? whether the toys are or arent posessed is not important to me as much (just confuses me. like if they werent there would it change the story??), or rather it lacks some closure, like the ogs have eventually been destroyed and the spirits let free, but for the other kids (that people say are possessing the toys), we dont even know their names! or how they ended. i always think of the theories how will destroyed the ogs to take remnant from them to use in the funtimes, but nobody ever thinks of the fact that he just gets springlocked right after which would make No sense. the funtimes are an odd thing, i guess you could apply he actually took it from the toys, but why would he? is there proof? if theyre programmed to snatch kids directly, hed have enough remnant and not have to get it from previous animatronics. that said, i believe the SL location and funtimes were made early on, but had to have this kidnap/kill function only after charlies murder because if she was the first and the point of her being the first was that will found out about remnant and possession, he would want to start experimenting with it then. however, i do prefer charlies murder to be out of jealousy towards henry after losing elizabeth, which would mean the funtimes would be existing at this point (because of eliz death). or perhaps the funtimes have been a project of his (i have this little coffin theory. probably dumb, basically just each character is there to hold the body/spirit of each afton family member, baby and ballora are obvs, funfred would be cc with bonbon in the place of the walkie talkie plush to control him.. and foxy for mike, but this doesnt work unless william knows about the posession...) but baby killed elizabeth and he wanted to get her back... wouldnt then finding out about charlie and the puppet be like way too convenient? like hey, this is exactly what you need. ...and how long can a spirit persist within an object until possession using remnant? or this kind of "activation" like in give life.

now this brought me to thinking about springtrap and when exactly was he "revived". as well as other time things.. such as, i thought the spirit "degrades" over time, loses sense of self - but i guess that would apply more after the possession starts. hinted at with scrap baby, she has been baby for so long its no longer elizabeth. but springtrap, and then scraptrap, is william seemingly after decades unless his spirit possessed spring bonnie only around the time they found him? big think

and then back to the general timeline. i cant even pinpoint the very start which bugs me, so it always all starts in '83, (after fredbears existing for a bit) when i assume the bite triggered the nightmare experiments, also closing of fredbears. i think there was a freddys at that time already where the first mci would happen but as i said i like the idea of will stuffing the kids into the withereds. maybe not, maybe i gotta let that go but its just such a nice idea. theyre just there in the back, nobody cares about them, the perfect place. then he can be the one to fix them up into their fnaf 1 glory, but this applies to it even if they were stuffed there much earlier and the withering happened Because Of the decay (probably makes more sense too! so i will try to work with that instead) and you see! no puppet yet. but also no possession. hed fix them up after, put them in their own new location and go ham. as in, he also has the saferoom there with the spring bonnie suit to use. nobody suspects a thing. (i also think the golden freddy/fredbear suit could be there and thats how we got golden freddy) but you see, with this we could just throw fnaf 2 out entirely.. whether we had the withereds or not, it doesnt matter, toys dont bring much to the table other than the bite of 87, no? the puppet could work perfectly in fredbears or freddys, just waiting her turn

see what i have to live with. i already helped myself a ton by accepting that henry is just in jail after the first mci/post fredbears so i dont have to work with him too. he wasnt framed, only in charge as the owner.. and we got fazbear entertainment taking while william has afton robotics. as in, they split at some point (after the bite?) and then he works under fazent in various locations, many times under aliases. Oh which brings me to.

in this year of 2023, they finally made me care about fritz! only because its william. to me. i have no proof! other than the clickteam teaser saying "fritz", but showing dave. (if its not him im fucked.) plus, isnt all we know about him literally just an employee kicked out on the first day for tampering with the animatronics (and smelling bad)? wouldnt william do something like this? get inside, if he cant he will take another identity (a name of one of his victims even) to get in to fuck around with the animatronics. why not just go there as william?? he once owned this place..? WELL now comes another juicy part (oh god crunch is going insane) he got kicked out! he cannot be in the location. why do i think that? midnight motorist. yeah.. okay i now love the idea that rye put out there, in the house its mike and a babysitter or aunt (movie helping with the lore!!!) and the footsteps are golden freddy luring him out (movie again!! its only 2 footsteps because GF doesnt walk!! he floats!!) but that aside, im thinking of the JRs part. this doesnt matter other than a hint at other stuff, metaphors and parallels and such. JR could be fredbears previously, yeah i dont argue with any of that, but it also makes me think of it as a paralell to the toy location. a place he got kicked out of, maybe not just once, perhaps the night he killed charlie he had just been kicked out (for various reasons) which amplified his anger as we see in MM after being kicked out of JRs, ending with him killing charlie (which i think was a tiny tiny bit premeditated in the way he was jealous of henry and his happy little family, now getting this chance) much to think about

note: i dont take anything here too seriously. theorizing is always just fun so if the one person decides to read this and react in a highly negative way, just keep it to yourself. if you have strong arguments against something with proof, do bring them in, i genuinely forget about shit i read like, yesterday. i also cannot "factcheck" everything when after googling i get shit like people on quora telling me that... quote.. william was under the control of the glitchtrap virus since he was 8 years old... umm wrong!! he was forced to eat cement when he was 6!!

okay that was meant to be a closing sentence but i also thought of one more thing. and one more thing!! i was a firm and calm and collected believer of fnaf 1 taking place in '93. then came the movie, making it in the 2000s. and it changed me to the worse! i started reading up on it and found out that its all just a theory that majority latched onto and decided to take as fact. as well as the idea that springtrap was locked in for 30 years. wont factcheck rn but it was apparently 30 years from the first location being closed, not since the springlocking. which means theres no set time between that and fnaf 3. on top of that someone was saying it made more sense for fnaf 1 to take place 10 years after that, so around 2003 instead, and it made sense to me then, so yeahh...

it also ties better to help wanted onward (though fnaf3 happening later would make the previous events more mysterious, why wouldnt they look into the location sooner?) and SB not taking place in like 2050s but 2030s or so (if its true that SB is happening 10 years after the pizzaplex opening). holding onto the game!vanessa is an afton theory even stronger after the movie! i talked about it b4 but had no proof. and so we dont have any literal grandpas making babies, the sooner it goes on the better. if vanessa is ~23 during help wanted, this way shed be born sometime in the 90s or early 2000s (this kinda applies even if HW took place in 2023 right after fnaf3 but since i think it happened sooner then i would prefer to go with the 90s) and. and will could have gotten laid one last time :] and have vanessa. think about it. (yeah how old is he again... it works right? also having to put him into a straight relationship after all of this is criminal, i know. im sorry, i will do better. (lie))

Detective poll anon again. I actually did the opposite--I only watched Glass Onion, not Knives Out. From what I hear, it's very similar in terms of being "Clue: Featuring Daniel Craig as a detective (who is like a mix of Columbo and Poirot) with a bad Southern accent helping a WOC take down a bunch of insufferable rich people stereotypes that lowkey exist just as presented irl."

I described it to someone else as "decent anti-rich catharsis-bait that still felt a little cheap in a way I couldn't describe." I probably won't remember much about it in a year or so other than the "destroying the house" scene, the Giallo shot, seeing Natasha Lyonne for approximately five seconds, and how unfortunately well the completely irredeemable wealthy characters reflected the sort of people they were based on, despite feeling like strawmen.

Rian Johnson seems to take a lot of inspiration from observing the most absurd behaviors of people with the most social privilege, though you can't help but wonder if he would be just the same as them, despite trying to frame himself as "woke," considering how big budget his films are. There's apparently a character in Knives Out whose entire family sees her as "extremely leftist" or even communist, but turned out to be just as intent to keep her bourgeoise class status, even if it meant betraying a friend. I wonder if perhaps Mr. Johnson may be projecting a bit.

I will say, though, Janelle Monáe was very good in Glass Onion, and she looked good in that white suit (the hair was...a decision; I know it was for the sake of the character, though). I was very disappointed to see she seems to be a "qu**r" bi who identifies as "polyamorous" and "nonbinary." Johnson also had "proud-mother-of-an-AGP-son" Jamie Lee Curtis in his other film, and (as attractive as I find her) Natasha Lyonne as a cameo. He probably runs in qu**r circles, and it's only a matter of time before something insufferable comes out about him. What do you think? Is he more likely to troon out, or will it be some sort of sexual harassment/abuse scandal?

oh my god. i had no idea about all this i just hated him since that pathetic sw movie he directed. thank u for sharing so much. i never really cared about janelle monae but i remember reading her nonbinary coming out and rolling my eyes so hard that now im actively avoiding her. about rian johnson. i dont know if i can imagine either of those happening But i guess if it turned out that hes in a polycule or a weird sex cult or whatever i wouldnt be surprised. glass onion sounds like it has a more enjoyable setting than knives out.. what i hated the most about knives out (im assuming that u dont really carr about spoilers but if u do this is the spoiler warning) is that u find out that the dead guy actually killed himself like... very soon. way too soon. sure they do a lot of investigation to find out why and how it happened and who made it happen (bc someone Was indeed trying to kill him) but at that point i just stopped caring? like 2 me a good murder mystery should end with finding the killer thats the most interesting part the catharsis. i couldnt care less about a bunch of uninteresting and unlikeable characters (Including the Good Guys) morbing all over everyone for 1 more hour. with 40 plot twists to make it look like the writer is very very smart. and im sure many ppl found mr johnsons approach unique and genius and he himself did too but it was super boring the big reveals were anticlimatic i didnt feel anything the entire time..

On that topic anyways. Thy creature propaganda time except i lovingly tear into it. Spoilers below teehee

I still have no idea why MazM completely removed the subplot between justine and the creature when its canonical in this edition of Frankenstein that william is dead and justine was framed for it. The murder the creature carried out. ????? They just never bring that up???? And it almost feels like they have justine there for like. Name recognition. Someone at team MazM felt rlly bad for her ig.

Her boss "Not Guilty" has red strings around her neck which i feel is a really interesting nod to how Justine was executed in the original book. Like mazm reads the books before making the games they say so in a qna. So its not as if they dont know. So like. wahts going on . even the early access acknowledged the creature killed william when justine runs off and cries at the end. Did they not have enough time to write it out???? Were they like shit we cant fix thjs shes gonna hate creature forever oh lawd oh gawd. Also like wouldnt creature recognize justine??? The woman it framed by putting a locket in her pocket????

Like i honestly think thy creature couldve avoided this problem (they would unfortunately have to get rid of the moral dilemma surroundinh the creature killing a child) would be to set the story before it even killed anyone. But iirc mazm said thy creature is like a midquel to Frankenstein, answering the question of what the creature did in between the time of it chasing victor. It honestly looked like in the demo traliers and shit that it was chasing the actual victor and not his nepesona. But then in the final version the payoff is just so...

Im not against a nepe victor, if done right. I think we as an audienve did suspect "victor" to be a nepe instead. But theres no payoff because the creature doesnt find any catharsis or any real answers. Victor the nepe brings up an interesting moral dilemma about what makes a human, but considering theres other plotlines that hadnt been touched, it feels a bit weak. The real Victor is there as a shadow of a character. Which yeah can be done right but it just isnt here BECAUSE, the victor in this version is a far nicer victor than book vic. He helps justine escape he took action. Even if he didnt hold himself fully accountable, the existence of his nepe being the concept of regret??? Hes lost so much of his memories had been spiraling downwards. Hes far far more sympathetic. This makes creature look way fucking worse.

In the first traliers from early 2021, the creature says something like "even after all this, youve shown to me you arent worthy of my humility", implying it met irl victor and realized he was a piece of shit. I think the only thing that makes final version victor look worse os the fact all his diff test subjects wanted to die after he made them and he had no second thoughts about it. But like. Thats kinda it. I still want noah to beat the shit outta him though lollll

THEY ALSO DROPPED THE BRIDE PLOTLINE???? WHICH SUCKS. they rlly said the real bride was the friends we made along the way. BOOOOOO

Here's the notes for everything that would happen up until the end of the story.... as far as I had it figured out. You'll notice things are a lot less fleshed out the later things go. That's a big reason why this never got finished. the longer I tried to keep the thing running, the more I realized I never had any idea what I wanted to actually DO with this story which made it pretty hard for me to keep up. it's hard to write a story you're trying to take seriously if all you really have are jokes, it turns out.

I haven't reread any of this or edited it at all so who knows what kind of notes I might have written in between things haha

P: so as i was saying about undyne-

C: who’s undyne?

Everyone freezes. Chara just walked right up to papyrus without being noticed. Paps freaks out for a sec before he pulls sans into a huddle. Chara frowns and tries to peek around.

~Junior jumble: its sudoku now

Chara’s doing puzzles and sees flowey spying. They shout him over

C: HEY! still following me, loser? Don’t you have anything better to do? (but they smile)

F: somebody’s gotta make sure you don’t get killed too much out here

Flowey pops up closer to them

C: nah, I’m fine! I’ve got that reset power!

F: not for long considering how much you use it (mumbles. Rolls eyes??) (some depiction of chara dying a lot in the bg)

C: by the way…. In the ruins you were telling me to use it… care to tell me more about it since you seem to know so much?

F: I-... uh… well you already know the most of it. It just resets you back to your last SAVE point like nothing happened. Only beings with a powerful SOUL can use it, so monsters with their weak souls can’t.

Chara stops their puzzle work and sits to even the heights: Can flowers?

F: what the heck are you-... oh, no no no. I’m different.

C: so you have the power too.

F: No! I mean-, i used to before you came around. Yeah.

C: so you’ve done resets. (urging him on)

F: yep.

Chara waits a while: ...thats all you have to say?

F: yep

Travel scenes from here on out depict chara and flowey together

Gauntlet:

Flowey remarks that he doesn't remember a save point being before it. Chara goes along and gets paps’ bit. He does to activate it

C: wait this isn't for real right? U can't be srs!!!

P: yeah I am, this is hard mode!

Just show chara repeatedly spawning at the save and running back in with flowey watching them

Then cut to the end chara on the other side of it panting and exhausted, papyrus shocked but also beaming

P: wow you did it!! I'm so proud of u human! I didn’t think you would actually be able to get through it--- I mean- drat! Foiled again! I'll get u one of these times!

Papyrus runs off and Chara watches him with a look of wonder in their eyes.

F: don’t get too excited. his pride is cheap, he’s proud of everyone and every thing

Chara grumbles and marches forward: whatever. I don’t hear you saying you’re proud of me, so why do I have to listen to what you have to say

F: You know, you’re gonna have to fight him soon. Didn’t sans say so? What are you going to do then, die over and over until you give up or are you going to try to murder him just like you did with Toriel? :)

C: I am not! I’m gonna talk him out of it and go right past him like everyone else. Who knows! Maybe he won’t even fight me because he’s that cool. Even if he does, he’s probably a wimp anyways.

F: I wouldn’t be so sure! I bet you don’t stand a chance.

C: shut up! Quit following me if you’re gonna be this useless.

Paps fight

As papyrus carries their body to the shed to rest. Opens on their vision returning and they see their hands hanging toward the ground.

C: why didn’t you kill me? You’re stronger than everyone else, you could easily do it. Why dont you finish me off so everyone can leave or whatever it is you need me to do? Why did you hold back?

P: OH! YOU’RE AWAKE!

C: you held back…

P: OF COURSE i DID! I COULD NEVER KILL YOU, YOU’RE MY-- I HOPE I’M NOT BEING TOO FORWARD, BUT I LIKE TO THINK OF YOU AS MY FRIEND! AND EVEN THOUGH WE DO NEED YOUR SOUL, YOU DESERVE A FIGHTING CHANCE TO DO… WHATEVER IT IS YOU’RE TRYING TO DO.

Chara is too shocked and confused by the sentiment: I don’t… I don’t understand?

P: WHAT’S SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND ABOUT A FRIEND NOT KILLING YOU? HUMANS ARE SO STRANGE ...OH! I SEE NOW! THE REASON WHY YOU CARRY YOUR KNIFE LIKE THAT. IT’S BECAUSE YOU’RE MORE AFRAID OF US MONSTERS THAN WE COULD EVER BE OF YOU!

He sets them down in the shed on the dog bed.

P: I’M SORRY, HUMAN! I WOULD HAVE GIVEN YOU MORE WARNING IF I HAD KNOWN HOW YOU FELT.

C: then… does that mean you’re going to let me go?

P: ABSOLUTELY NOT! I ALREADY CALLED UNDYNE TO MEET ME SO SHE CAN TAKE YOU! AND YOU NEED TO REST NOW AFTER ALL THAT!

C: !! I-I don’t know who Undyne is, but I can’t do that. I’m in a hurry to get out of here.

P: HMM… IF YOU’RE IN A HURRY THEN… NO, NO YOU CAN’T! WE NEED YOUR SOUL, I CAN’T JUST LET YOU LEAVE. UNDYNE’S REALLY COOL TOO, YOU’LL LIKE HER!

C: No, I have to go.

P: AGH, WELL… I SUPPOSE IF YOU CAN GET PAST ME BEFORE I CAN CATCH YOU, THERE’S NOTHING I CAN DO. BUT I WON’T GO EASY ON YOU!

Cut to chara walking toward waterfall, papyrus calling after them to come back and hang out sometime. They keep walking and mutter to themself: Sorry, but I’ll get out of here before that ever happens.

WATERFALL

They see monster kid and side eye sans as they charge in, hurriedly.

Chara keeps flowey around and asks him to read the words for him. FLowey says it’s not important at all to anything they’re doing. It’s just monster history junk that means nothing if chara’s trying to leave. Chara’s like shut up cmon help me out maybe there's clues. FLowey reads some history stuff in waterfall treating it like shit they already know

F: why do you care about all this garbage anyway?

C: I dunno, I guess it just sounds familiar. Like a story I heard a long time ago.

Chara stops suddenly and checks their phone. Flowey asks what’s up

C: i thought it rang… you didn’t hear-

The phone starts ringing. Papyrus is cheerfully on the other end and they walk and talk.

He tells them about how he heard so many horrible things about humans and the surface but chara was much nicer than he ever expected. Chara asks where he heard that and he says a flower told him. Chara covers the receiver and looks around for flowey, suspicions of him raised.

Montage w monster kid and umbrella

Chara falls from undyne’s spear attack and wakes up in the trash with flowey over them.

F: hey, wake up. I can tell you’re not dead so hurry up and get moving.

Chara’s kind of bummed: she killed me four times back there. And it wasn’t even a fight. I couldn’t talk her down or… i couldn’t even talk to her, I could barely see her.

F: what, are you giving up or something? You know she can kill you as much as she wants and you aren’t gonna die.

C: I know that! I know this is just like a game where you can keep on going but… it hurts. And it’s exhausting.

F: what will you do then? Sit here in this trash and do nothing?

C: *sigh* no. I’m just feeling down in the dumps.

They smile and get up.

As they’re walking out, they hear a click and someone to tell them to “hold it”

Mad dummys behind them and she just has a gun. Pointed directly at chara. She starts on her thing about the cousin and then blook saves the day.

Chara meets up with blook again. They go to where the snail races used to be. It’s all busted and unused

C: what’s this supposed to be…?

B: oh…. this used to be a snail farm…. And this was a race course…. For snails…. But a long time ago people started to call the races “insensitive” so we had to close them…. Sorry you can’t have any fun racing snails…

C: why was it insensitive…?

B: ...i’d… rather not talk about it………..

Timeskip

C: hey flowey! What’s up with this place and snails?

F:...i wouldnt know.

montage

After waterfall where undyne says how many souls they have

C: flowey… if they have 6 human souls, that means 6 others fell down and died here, so…

F: what?

C: i just- i mean you were the first one i met-

F: no, no, no, ive never killed anyone. You’re the only human i’ve seen since i woke up

Chara relaxes: ok. So you dont know anything about them.

F: no. i heard some things from toriel, not much. It’s too late to try asking her, but she’s seen all of them. She was there at the beginning even.

C: the beginning?

F: you know…. When humans started falling down here and monsters started killing them.

Chara goes silent in thought: wait… how… long has this been going on? How old is toriel?

F: dunno

Chara after having a rough time: it’s hard, but no matter what happens i can just keep trying. I’ll make it out of this! You believe in me right, flowey?

F: no i think you should give up.

Page/chapter ends there. Next is chara going up to fight undyne.

Open on a riff on the “long ago” cutscene that chara cuts off by saying they already know this story

Undyne screams SHUT UP!!! I’m doing my HEROIC MONOLOGUE!! Whatever, I bet you haven’t heard the part about the King and Queen’s human child who died of illness and their other son who was killed by the humans when he tried to return their body to the surface?!

C: No I think I heard that one too? Why are you telling me all this anyways??

U: because this is an UNSKIPPABLE CUTSCENE!! NYAAAGGGHHHH!!!!!

Chara’s getting their ass beat and on low hp: I’ll die in a hit or two. But that’s fine because I’ll just start this over. I’ll start from… where was the last save point…

A vision of them with flowey. Their eyes go red and the flashback cuts in between shots of them running from undyne

F: I think you should give up

Ch: what… give up?? I thought you were on my side with all the telling me to keep going and-and the hanging out with me?!

F: as if you had any other choice but to keep going! We both know you don’t.

C: so you’ve just been following this whole time waiting for me to give up and die, huh?! Why, are you trying to steal my soul just like everybody else?!?

F: it doesn’t matter how hard you try, you’re going to die! And die and die and die! You can reset as much as you want, it won’t change that! So what if I am waiting for you to give up? You’re the last thing keeping monsters trapped down here. If you give up, you’ll give everyone what they want!

C: I thought you wanted to help me?! I thought you were my friend!

F: I would never be friends with a human! You’re all nothing but killing machines!

C: I haven’t killed anyone!

F: You killed Toriel! No number of resets can change what you did! You’re a horrible, disgusting human just like all the others and everyone would be happier if you were dead!

Flowey could say something about dying down here is better than their inevitable death on the surface. Their death would at least be worth something. Mean something

Chara escapes the fight, undyne collapses, and they walk away. they tell themselves they won’t give up. They don’t need help, especially not from that dumb flower. They’ll live to spite him and everyone else who tries to kill them

Chara goes in and meets alphys and overall is p meh abt it bc bad mood. Alphys helping them through the underground makes them talk to themselves about how they dont need flowey, they can do this themself. Friends are no good.

hotland is as normal. probably figure out some indication of things not right. make the game seem broken bc they arent supposed to get so far like this

Chara meets with sans at mtt resort for food reluctantly. Lets him say his piece. After he’s done threatening to kill them chara says to his face that they really don’t like him.

Need some hubbub about them having to kill asgore to get out. Theyll be like yeah I know that (somehow)... oh but I need a plan… how will i come up with a plan..

Flowey finally appears to chara again just before they get to new home and tries to talk them out of leaving. Disparaging the surface and telling them they could live happily down here. Chara says no, it’s too hard because people are constantly hunting them down and being the last soul, no ones going to stop that. He says that he’s sorry for the way he was before

Chara smiles back, and then looks away: What you said before… about.. My inevitable death on the surface…

F: that was… don’t worry about that.

C: are you afraid of it?

F: well- yeah, it’s a dangerous place. Everyone knows that.

C: I’ve died a lot more times down here than I ever did up there.

A beat

C: you go back and forth a lot between talking about how I should stay down here because it’s better… but also if I die down here… everyone gets to go free… to the horrible, awful surface.

F: uh,, did I say all that…? I may have contradicted myself a little… I guess… in the end I just wanted an excuse for you to stay around. I really don’t want you to die.

C: so you did see me as a friend after all?

F: well…you reminded me of someone who was my friend. I wish we could have been friends.

C: Do you think… If I reset back to the beginning and did this again, if I said the right things… we could have been?

F: No… You could be as nice to me or as mean to me as you want. No matter how many times you reset, some things never change.

C: ...Did you ever… have to reset because you killed someone?

F: ……….once… and then I never reset ever again. The power to reset… makes you do bad things. It’s wrong. I had to stop because i knew… I’d make someone really upset if I kept messing around.

C: well, in that case… I guess I’ll just have to get the rest of the way out of here without any resets!

Flowey smiles: I dunno, keep one or two under your belt. You’re a pretty big klutz.

C: Thanks for helping me out of here, flowey. Even if you just did it because you were begged.

Can you imagine a more paranoid flowey who is less interested in attacking you and regaining the reset ability, but is pleased af that you have the reset ability because that means you can't die, and instead he spends the entire game trying to convince you that humanity is hopeless. That there is nothing on the surface world returning to. That it's safer, down here.

he's part of the reason why things are so much harder

there's a definite sense of paranoia all across the board

When they approach new home, flowey appears one last time and grabs chara by the hand, telling them not to go. They can live in the underground, they’ve made a lot of friends here. Chara says that they have to go, they’ll find a way to get out without killing asgore. Flowey says that he tried to stop them, this is as far as he’ll go. This is goodbye. They bid their farewells and chara goes along, but flowey secretly follows them, much less detectable than ever before. It’s revealed when he’s hiding with the flowers.

Chara walks up to new home, regarding it as a vaguely familiar sight. They walk down the many halls knowing exactly where to go. The monsters speak as they go through the motions. They find a cookbook in the kitchen with a page for snail pie missing. Chara mumbles about already knowing the story and that they should all shut up. They walk more quickly to stay ahead of them. Then one mentions the snail pie and chara stops dead in their tracks. No that’s not how it happened- they stop, and take back off.

They are stopped by sans in the judgement hall, glaring at him.

S: well I had a whole speech to give ya, but you look like you’re in a hurry. You’re a weird kid, but you’re fine. The king’s up ahead.

OTHER alternative: chara realizes something’s wrong and runs back to get everyone, probably threatening to kill asgore to convince them to come quickly. Sans is avoided due to the mob approaching behind them “I heard the word that you’re on your way to kill the king.” c: are you here to stop me? “Nah. But you’d better have a good plan to back yourself up, kid. King’s up ahead”

They run up to asgore, no nonsense. Some time is taken to progress things. As they leave the throne room, flowey watches from the flowers, chara looks back to confirm he’s there.

Asgore draws up the souls, the fight is about to engage, before he can smash “MERCY” chara yells: ASRIEL. Get the souls.

Everything stops. Flowey is behind them, stunned and confused. Chara turns and asks him what he’s waiting for. Hurry up and take the souls before everyone else gets here. Nearly every last monster is coming, if he can become godlike and absorb them, it will be enough strength to break the barrier.

Flowey is confused, how do they know that? Chara tells him he did it before. Doesn’t he remember? Doesn’t he remember them?

Either flowey does it and something happens, or flowey waits too long and chaos erupts which gets them killed, and then chara and flowey have to meet up and workshop.

Final fight:

He probably says some shit about frisk and how he cant lose frisk again, chara must insist that theyre not frisk. When they say their name is chara, he hesitates for only a moment. Finally, when chara’s pinned and about to seriously die…

C: you remember it now too, don’t you? It took me a while, I couldn’t remember a thing until i started hearing your name around. You’re an all powerful god now, you should be able to remember it all better than me

A: shut up.

C: would frisk want us to fight like this?! Would frisk want you to kill your own sibling?!

A: c-.... You’re… you’re really chara?

He lets them go

They reach the conclusion that frisk messed with everything and put them here with no memories so they could do something frisk could never do. Frisk thinks they deserve to live, no matter how much the two may disagree. They have to play along. Asriel is a god and can use his powers to break the barrier and bring EVERYONE back to life so they can live together happily.

go to final fight and everyones already there, things are very confused, flowey takes the souls and things glitch out (screen phases between bosses) and chara realizes this isnt how things are supposed to be, tells asriel theyre sorry for their baggage but he doesnt understand bc he isnt theirs, and then they gotta find frisk somehow

OR... they realize things in the speech and don't go to fight asgore bc theyre finding flowey... they feign fighting asgore and then suddenly tell flowey to take the souls("Asriel! get the souls!" and thats the first time they call him by name)...? i like that a bit better. they start going on about crazy shit that makes roided out flowey kind of lose it at them which leads to them apologizing to their own asriel but then realizing they need to find frisk

but HOW do they find frisk

The end shows chara asriel and frisk hugging eachother, all alive and well. Then the two are “processing…” and remember that oh, theyve done some dark messed up stuff.

A/N I know, I know, I told I was going on a hiatus and wouldnt post any writing but guess what? This idea is too nice to avoi. I close my eyes and the flashback starts

Little did I know

You were so extremely late when you reached the muggle street just to be greeted with a sight that slowly kills you to this day.

Sirius was in the custody of the Aurors. Multiple arms wrapped around his own, his hair wild and unkempt. His eyes looked like that of a maniac who lost everything yet there was love when he saw you standing afar, struggling to breathe and believe.

"No," you whispered to yourself and people around you, thinking you too had lost life because of the explosion, patted your shoulder and rubbed your back.

Sirius looked at you with a smile and winked as though that would comfort you.

"NO, NO!" You screamed and pulled away from the people surrounding you and rushed towards Sirius.

"Ma'am, please, he's a murderer," An Auror said, sympathetically rubbing your arm.

You pulled your arm away from her and hissed, "He is my fucking husband,"

Her eyes widened and she raised her wand arm and so did you. The muggles around you gasped and backed away.

"No! No! Sh-she-I don't know her!" Sirius said, without thinking. He didn't have the strength to see your eyes filled with hurt but he will never stop punishing himself if he dragged you into this mess.

"I love-" Sirius started to mouth but the Auror next to you looked at the guy standing beside Sirius and with a nod of his head they disappeared into thin air, leaving you all alone with Sirius' broken promise and unfinished confession.

One night on top of the astronomy tower at the end of your seventh year sat vividly in the back of your mind, taunting you now and then.

That you were Romeo, you were throwin' pebbles

And my daddy said, "Stay away from Juliet"

And I was cryin' on the staircase

Beggin' you, "Please don't go, " and I said

Romeo, take me somewhere we can be alone

I'll be waiting, all there's left to do is run

You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess

It's a love story, baby, just say, "Yes"

"What if we just run away?" You had asked and motioned vaguely as your eyes roamed the night sky filled with stars.

"From the war?" Sirius had asked, his bright eyes twinkled along with the stars when he repeated your idea to himself. Running away from problems was not a very Gryffindor thing to do but that's what Sirius always was - An outcast.

You hummed having no idea what the "war" had for you but hating the collective idea of one.

"It would be a dream, wouldn't it?" He asked, wrapped his arm around your shoulder and held you to his chest, "To simply run away, never look back and face no deaths," he chuckled, "Live a happy life,"

"Maybe start a family," you added and looked at him, hopefully. You knew Sirius was not a great fan of a family but for the first time, you saw something in his eyes when you said those words.

"Oh, yes," he said, softly while his thumb rubbed circles on your arm, "We could have a family. Even a big one, if you want," he whispered and rested his forehead against yours.

"Get a cottage-" you started just to be cut off by Sirius.

"Nearby a river," he completed your wish for he has heard them millions of times.

Sirius, himself, had imagined a peaceful life as per your wish. A little cottage in the outskirts of Hogsmeade, by the wild, raging forest and calm riverbank. Perhaps, you could adopt about a dozen puppies and...have kids.

You heard Sirius chuckle, "It would be so beautiful, wouldn't it? We'd have a calm life."

You had let out a sharp breath and moved closer to him trying to ignore the screams in your mind and uneasiness in the pit of your stomach that disturbed the calm moment

"It will be okay," he said, softly, sensing your nature better than he would for himself. Sirius held you tightly in his arms and kissed your forehead, "I'll make it alright." He lied.

Images of wounded Sirius crossed your mind as you stumbled towards the radio on the kitchen island. Desperately wanting to turn it down and cut off the trail of memories.

So I sneak out to the garden to see you

We keep quiet, 'cause we're dead if they knew

Escape this town for a little while, oh oh

And my daddy said, "Stay away from Juliet"

But you were everything to me

I was beggin' you, "Please don't go, " and I said

But it was too late again. Tears already rolled down your cheeks and your grip on the marble had just become tighter when the memory surfaced.

The recklessness of Sirius was shown only once before at the time of war and he had never looked back.

Sirius had suggested that the two of you take a break from being stuck in the confinement of four walls and take a joyous ride outside.

You were cautious at the beginning but the isolation with Sirius had taken its toll and you immediately agreed to his idea. And just like that, the two of you were off zooming into the sky on his motorbike.

"Do you like it, princess?" He yelled although it sounded like a whisper to you as you tore through the wind.

"I love it!" You yelled back, holding onto his shirt tightly and suddenly Sirius slowed down, placing his hand on top of your fist. You knew he was smiling when you gently laid your head on his shoulder, your helmets bonking against each other.

"I lov-" Sirius couldn't finish his words before he lost control over his motorbike and the vehicle spiralled down to the ground.

Neither of you lost your dear lives that day just because Sirius had gone slower than he usually did and survived the crash with minor injuries but it was not the real threat.

Two death eaters had stood before you with their obnoxious masks and wands pointed out with such elegance. It was the toughest duel the two of you had fought and for the first time, you saw Sirius coward out of something.

Sirius had quickly grasped your hand and apparated you back to your flat with unsteady breaths and dried blood. He immediately let go of his hold as though your skin was on fire.

"Love," you said, cautiously but it was of no use as trails of apologies left his lips.

"Sirius, it's okay, please, please," you had begged him as you slowly fell to the ground with a sobbing Sirius held tightly in your arms.

"It will be okay, my love," you lied.

Your knees gave out as the lyrics that forever engraved into your mind echoed in your ears, hauntingly. It was the one song that you sang to Sirius and the one he joined in.

I got tired of waiting

Wonderin' if you were ever comin' around

My faith in you was fading

When I met you on the outskirts of town, and I said

You didn't know if you would ever see your dear husband ever again, you didn't know how he was in the dreaded tower but you knew one thing - Sirius was innocent and you will never stop loving him.

Yet, you felt helpless when it came to the issues. Perhaps it was because you were stuck in your head with thoughts that killed you slowly.

You felt overwhelmed and numb all at the same moment and had Sirius been here, he would have a solution before you even figured it out. He was your hero. A hero that you were to stupid to loose.

And just like that, the radio wavered and came to a stop but your sobs continued uncontrollably as you curled up, your food long forgotten.

Romeo, save me, I've been feeling so alone

I keep waiting for you, but you never come

Is this in my head? I don't know what to think

He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring

And said, "Marry me, Juliet

You'll never have to be alone

I love you and that's all I really know

I talked to your dad, go pick out a white dress

'Cause we were both young when I first saw you

The two of you were supposed to have a family, a life filled with joy and love. That's what you wanted, deserved and what you promised.

You had stood on the deck of the outhouse you and Sirius had come to right after your wedding. Your first night as husband and wife.

Sirius came wobbling in with a wide grin, an adorable blush on his cheeks and sparkly grey eyes immersed in love.

He took your hand and pulled you to his chest, the grin on his face never fading, "We are married," he said, twisting the ring on your finger.

"Yes, we are, husband," you said with a mocking tone and wide smile. Over the few months at the start of the heated war, you had never heard Sirius say anything with this much happiness in his voice and it brought tears to your eyes as he said those words. Yet, you knew better than to spoil the moment.

Sirius chuckled, happily and rested his forehead against yours. The only sound the two of you could hear was your breaths and the crashing waves of the river in front.

"I'm your husband, aren't I?" He said, softly, "You are my wife."

You squeezed his hand tightly and gasped. It took a while for the realisation to settle in. It was no more a dream to be Mrs Black, you were officially Sirius'.

You shivered into his arms and moved closer to him, "Yes. Yes, I am. I'm your wife," you said with tears welling up beneath your closed eyes.

Sirius had slowly kissed you, holding your cheeks gently in his hands. He kissed you like making a promise, showing that there would be no mess but something said the opposite in the back of your mind. This kiss was an absolute contrast to how he had kissed you in the next few hours.

Sirius pulled away breathlessly and said, "I'll always be there for you and I mean I will never, ever leave you alone," he said.

"And so will I," You said, softly.

You both lied.
