when is comes to asexuality and aromanticism you have to be okay with contradiction. one ace person will say asexuality is about not experiencing attraction, another will say it’s about not caring to act on attraction, another will say it’s not experiencing arousal. one aromantic will consider themself queer, one won’t. two people with seemingly identical experiences will use two different labels. aro people will be in romantic relationships, ace people will have sex. you get it.

Mello and near are doomed siblings asffff... at least thats how i personally interpret their relationship and it's to a degree that i get uncomfortable seeing ship content of them but I understand that this isn't the universal interpretation. BUT ITS SO SAD LIKE... NEAR DOESNT HATE MELLO he likes mello but mello doesn't like him all because of circumstances outside their control... imo i feel like mello and near are on the exact same level of intelligence and achievement and capability its just it shows in completely different ways but Near's performance is one more easily testable and thus he's deemed the better one. Which SUCKS because it's the two of them that take down Kira... And even mello himself could never bring himself to kill near either out of a sense of personal justice (bc he isn't just some ratty criminal) or maybe he does like near a little bit too... well maybe not like but its the same way one may feel about strained family. They aren't just some schmuck... 😭😭😭 FUCK WAMMYS HOUSE ALL MY HOMIES HATE WAMMYS... that sort of sibling rivalry is such a particular relationship because its like you dont actually hate each other you're just forced to be in a game and eventually maybe resentment builds... I think they both deserved to be happy
