Verda the blob ghost was just casually floating around, enjoying exploring the different cities.

While they’re quite old in ghost terms, Verda has never really gone to the human world before.

So, they got curious and one thing led to another and now they’re here. Floating around from place to place, exploring.

Everything here is so different here from the ghost zone and—

Oh!

Verda stopped dead in their tracks when they feel a call for help coming form another core.

And not just any other ghost core. No, it’s a baby core calling for help!

Well of course Verda has to go check it out and help the poor distressed thing.

And if they end up becoming the new ghostly parent to a recently formed baby ghost?

Well, Verda believes that they’ll be perfectly fine taking care of their new child.

Jason doesn’t know what the hell is going on.

All he knows is that he got in a though spot in a fight without back-up and then a glowing green floating blob thing showed up that has refused to leave since.

It somehow got him out of the fight safely and now it keeps following him around. No matter what he tries, he can’t get rid of it.

He even tried shooting it, only for it to happily eat the bullets!

He glances at the blob.

Well… the little guy does look quite cute…

It seems to notice he’s looking and, while it’s hard to read its body language or facial expression, he gets a distinct feeling of happiness-calm-reassuring from it that leaves him slightly rattled.

DAWN WARDEN

Handbuilt mason stained porcelain, with hand painted slip, glaze, gold + palladium luster, and underglaze accents.

Post-fire details include epoxy sculpt and paint for tail’s length (excluding bauble), as well as lacquer for added vibrancy to face.

This piece is a companion to the Dusk Warden, and a part of my 4-piece Celestial Wards series! In contrast to the Dusk Warden, Dawn Warden is a mischievous scamp; wearing no mask because he doesn't care, and embodying the relentlessness of morning as opposed to the calm of night.

I'm really proud of this critter! It was my first time working with porcelain for sculpture, as well as my first time using mason stains, and I love the way it came out!

This one's eyes follow you extremely well, more so than Dusk Warden, so looking at it in real life hammers in the slightly uncanny expression on the face.

Spencer Reid would hate modern pop music. Not to the point of outwardly complaining, but he wouldn't like it. So often you'll see character playlists that are just this moments popular songs. (Ie: Apocalypse by Cigarettes after sex, Romantic Homicide by D4vd, Not Allowed by TV Girl, Do I Wanna Know by Arctic Monkeys ect ect.) Now thats not to say those songs aren't good, but trying to say Spencer Reid would listen to them is crazy. Spencer "I only listen to classical music" Reid. If he listened to actual music with lyrics I think he'd like older music more. (Frank Sinatra, the smiths, the cure maybe specifically Boys Dont Cry, David Bowie, The smashing pumpkins.) That's not to say of course that he wouldn't like more modern music because I fully think he would like some of it. (Hozier, Djo, Alex G, peach pit, Bastille, Dominic fike.) I just don't think he'd be that into top 40 artists, I think he'd probably find a lot of their music repetitive and annoying. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk.
