I don't know, there's just something that hits so hard knowing that at his very core, Wanderer is just a sweet boy who wants to help others and find a family who will love and take care of him in return. We can see this when he's first found after Ei left him, and also when he erases himself from Irminsul.
Wanderer, when we meet him as Scaramouche is someone tainted by centuries of deceit. He's the product of a twisted mind twisting the naive mind of a puppet just looking for his place in this world. His personality as Scaramouche is fragments of those he's spent the most time with (the harbingers), coupled with his three perceived betrayals, and we end up with a homicidal puppet who hates humanity and detests the gods. He may have hated them, but the Harbingers (especially Dottore) are the ones who shaped the Balladeer we met.
But the Wanderer we meet post-Irminsul is helping out at a fruit stand in Sumeru fully expecting no compensation for his work. He goes out of his way to pick fresh sunsettias and take care of this stand all because the man who runs it helped him. He's shocked and confused, not angry, when the Traveler says that he's a puppet despite him making it a point to never tell anyone. He happily accompanies the Traveler and Paimon to Nahida, even apologizing for the inconvenience.
Dottore made sure all of Wanderer's naive traits turned bitter towards the world because he wanted a fascinating test subject. And yet, even when he could go on the warpath and murder Dottore after finding out the core betrayal that shaped him was a lie, he instead chooses to erase himself from the past just as a small chance to fix the wrongs he's done and give those hurt because of him a chance at a better life.
If the Kabukimono and Wanderer were him without being molded by the harsh world and Scaramouche was the result of being manipulated, I really wonder how he would have turned out had Ei not chosen to give him up.
In other words: Scaramouche is baby and he deserved so much better. Wanderer is a sweetheart who had to reconcile with a past that went completely against who he thought he was and deserved better. But the Wanderer we have now, is healing.
He's healing and I can't explain how proud of him I am that he's trying.

all jokes aside, this whole thing is kinda fucked up.  hiring someone, only to make fun of them, is some utter bullshit.
i don’t know how much jere gets paid for this, but it’s definitely not enough.

Mike Wheeler is a full fleshed character. He's complex, interesting, flawed, he feels, learns and experiences the world as all the other characters in this show and any other fiction.
Which means Mike Wheeler is a character in and of himself. That he deserves (and he has) his own development.
"But Will has never had a win", that sounds like a Will's character arc part.
"But El is more traumatized", that sounds like a part of El's development.
Mike Wheeler is not a prize to give to the most traumatized character or to whoever the shippers think would be more unhappy without dating him. He's his own character and his relationships need to be meaningful for him and for the story. It would make no narrative sense for a relationship including him to not have a part in his character development.
It's not about who deserves Mike most. It's about the most compelling story for all the characters involved, not only in this triangle, but in the whole story. And all the characters involved INCLUDES MIKE. STOP ACTING LIKE MIKE SHIPS ARE ONLY ABOUT HIS POSSIBLE PARTNERS.

JONATHAN DID NOT SMOKE WHILE THEY WERE ON THE RUN
I feel like I need to point that out. Sure, Jonathan smoked at the beginning of season 4, when everything was fine, but once he was in charge? He did not get high. He made sure to stay sober to be able to take care of Mike, Will and El, especially once everything started to go down.
Sure, he encouraged Argyle to get high once when they were on the run, but that was to calm him down. Jonathan did NOT partake in any of that because he knew he had to keep Will and Mike safe.
I see a lot of things about Jonathan being stoned and/or out of it during their trip to El/Hawkins, but he really deserves more credit than that. He started smoking to avoid his own problems, but once things turned serious, he stopped and he stepped up and kept Mike and Will safe and people need to stop overlooking that.

i see this jason todd who actually looks his very young age (instead of the 30yr old man that comics like to portray)
Tumblr media
and feel my heart breaking just imagining bruce beating him up, almost killing him, mind-breaking him, and just overall being a total piece of shit father towards him.
a huge chunk of the reason why people don't view bruce's actions towards jason as abusive or wrong is because jason doesn't look his age. he's drawn to be this 35yr old father of three who looks even older than dick (and way too on par with bruce) that people see their fights as one between batman and any of his regular rogues. when they fight, it just looks like batman is fighting a man his age and not an actual young person. it doesn't look like batman is fighting his son who's barely even drinking age (and who def wasn't drinking age in utrh). their fights are portrayed in a way that eliminates the very real power struggle between them.
this applies to jason's entire character as well. a lot of people don't sympathize with how he died or his actions as robin or his fights with the other bats because he doesn't look his age. he always looks older and scarier than everyone else. tim has many sympathizers from the titans tower incident because jason just looked like a grown man fighting a 12yr old (even tho i disagree, tim was built and like 17 lmfao).
anyways, i just wish comics would actually draw jason to look his age, which literally ranges from 19 to early twenties. he's young- so young, and it's so annoying to see him drawn and written as someone older than even bruce.
