The endings have such an ironic human expression attached to them.

The middle, neutral ending is just that, a hollow and neutral victory. There is no expression tied to it.

In the worst ending, where we remain as a puppet - albeit one of flesh and blood - He smiles at the end, an expression of joy. But in the "good" ending, in the most interpretably "good" ending you can possibly get in the game, that expression is a tear. An expression of sorrow.

Maybe this is drawing from Collodi-esque ideas. As though telling us that it isn't the ability to experience happiness that makes us human; It is the ability to experience pain. 

[And both of their skin is speckled and "flawed" in either ending. But in the good ending, his skin is "flawed" in the FAR more human way]

I don't have any smashing conclusions right now, I just thought they were juxtapositions in the story that were super interesting. And so beautiful.

There aren't really any "happy" endings in the game (in true k-media fashion). All of them are sort of melancholic, in my point of view. Krat is still totally destroyed, and either our father dies or the entire hotel, no matter what we do.

As in, we cannot own what makes us happy. We can only ever own what makes us sad. Maybe that doesn't make sense, but I've been wondering about those verses since the song came out.

Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely adore deity depictions made by artists online. However, it sometimes gets unsettling when deities whose aspects are centered around entirely nonviolent concepts are drawn as hyperviolent, warrior-type of characters. This is especially common in depictions of Norse deities. I can understand why this tendency would be, considering some of these depictions are made for promoting video games, and such. It’s plenty more surprising, however, when such drawings can be traced back to pagan sources. Now, this highlights a larger, more concerning issue: the general perception of Norse deities by pagan informational websites. It gets easy to distinguish between the pagan sources I want to look into and those I want to avoid, based on the general image of some deities that they choose to present. I know I’ve talked about this in the past, but if you spread information on Norse deities but depict them all as “warrior Gods”—by only relying on hyperviolent representations even in the case of more “peace-oriented” deities for example, it shows you don’t care to go deeper than your surface-level understanding of a mythological pantheon that’s filled with diverse figures and nuance. And it’s especially concerning when this type of perception is spread by websites that advertise themselves as being 100% factual and unbiased. These types of sources generally reduce deities to a fixed list of aspects (“This or that deity is the god of this, period”) and it doesn’t help new pagans at all to explore the pantheon and their own perception of it. (This tendency is especially common on New Age websites, as they also tend to put up lists of unmovable correspondences while reducing the importance of UPG and personal belief in deity associations.) It doesn’t spark skepticism, reflection or curiosity. Let me illustrate: if someone who’s questioning their spiritual path and considering becoming pagan sees a super intimidating and ferocious depiction of Óðinn, accompanied by the caption “He is the god of death and war:))” (implied: he is the god of mostly that), they will likely not consider right away other important aspects of Óðinn as a deity, such as his association with wisdom, poetry, the afterlife and other, vastly more nuanced elements of his myth. Websites who present hyperviolent depictions of pretty much all Norse deities, even in the case of Frø or Njörðr, more often than not have some sort of ties with the far right or even sometimes with white supremacy. At the top of my head, I could even name at least two folkish pagan websites I stumbled upon simply because I was baffled by the images they put up online and sought to see who’d commission such pictures. These sorts of website also tend to reduce deities to a handful of personality traits and this can lead new pagans to view them as entirely two-dimensional. It’s a dead giveaway for sources to avoid, in my opinion. If you are a new pagan who seeks to better understand a deity’s areas of influence and general personality, I would advise you to double-check sources, to keep researching and researching until you’ve consciously made your own opinion of them. Don’t right away believe the very first source you stumble upon. This is all a personal thought I’m trying to express as clearly as possible, and if any of you guys have anything to add, don’t hesitate to share your own thoughts and experiences! I would be delighted to hear about them.

Food for thought. I might be wrong here, if heavenly principles made humans that means the creator would not have a human appearance originally, and the humans would not count as one of their creations. Perhaps after generations of living there and praying for the creator, they could be considered part of the world but could they be considered one of the creator's creations?

Okay nevermore fandom buckle up, time for my personal theory about lenores spectre

Okay so i’m pretty sure a lot of you are familiar with the theory that the nevermore heart logo is a combination of Lenore’s and annabelle’s spectres

Now the heart part is safe to assume comes from Annabelle’s Lady in white form, specially the heart shape hole in her chest , which leads me to believe that lenore’s spectre will have wings

Another thing that makes me believe that is this specific scene with the raven on the rooftop

Now, my personal guess is that lenore’s spectre is a (classical depiction) Siren.

Before the mermaid version of them became popular people depicted them as winged women or any form of woman bird hybrid so it would compliment the logo theory. but get this

We know that in their lifetime Lenore and Annabelle were about to be wed but we also know that Annabelle was murdered by the person she loved the most (possibly shot, which is why i believe lenore has a handgun in her personal belongings).. all of this implies that during their lives (well the end of them) Lenore killed annabelle

I'm seriously debating writing a Hazbin fic because I have been completely OBSESSED with the series. Here are some of my prompts I've been considering:

Angeldust x Alastor: Basically, Alastor is tired of Angel being a devious little shit and tickles Angel to death only to find out he actually likes it. Which makes it so much better worse.

Angelhusk: Husk comments that Angel's X rated p*rno interogation discussed during show and tell day wasn't very convincing as an interrogation. So Angel gives him a real interrogation... By tickling the snot out of Husk and interrogating him about the other hotel staff. (Maybe also add Alastor or Vaggie giving Angel a taste of his own medicine as well. Alastor x Lucifer: Okay, but I can see these absolute chaotic energies for SOME reason engaging in a competitive tickle fight. And I feel like Lucifer would 100% lose (the little dork), lmfao. I can see him being so determined and absolutely getting his shit wrecked and outing Charlie for also being ticklish just to get the tickling to stop lmaoo. Which Alastor is quite pleased to discover as a friend/coworker/brother/father figure would naturally be lmao.

Other loose fic ideas:

They're not hardcore kinky but they both have their own sweet spots that really get to them.
