Keigo Takami [Hawks]
Sometimes it was hard to be in a relationship with Hawks. Not because of anything the two of you could do, time just seemed to never allow you to see each other for long. Today was one of the few and far between days off you both shared and you aimed to make the most of it.
Decked in your most comfortable and yet cute clothes, you grasped Keigo's hand in your own as you dragged him out of the house decked in civilian clothing. A grin was stretched across your face as you walked through the streets of the city. It was a little difficult to get places sometimes with Hawks being the number two hero and all, but that was alright; as long as you got to spend time with your lover, everything would be alright.
The sun was shining brightly overhead as you walked through a small park with him, your hands intertwined, swinging between your bodies.
"Y/N, you know I love you more than anything, right?"
"Of course, bird brain. I love you too, what's up?"
His smile softened as he glanced over at you, his eyes full of adoration.
"Nothing, I just wanted to make sure you knew."
A blush crossed your face as you rolled your eyes and sped up your pace.
"Sh-shut up."

Shinsou Hitoshi [Mind Jack]
After graduating from Yuuei, both from the hero course, life was full of it's ups and downs. Times were hard after the whole thing in your first year with the league of villains and All for One. But, you and Shinou's relationship only grew stronger over that time. You loved him with all your heart and you were sure that the same applied to him.
Waking up beside him in the mornings was always your favorite part of the day. The sun's gentle beams shining through the slats of your blinds, cascading across his sleeping form. His bare back was turned to you on this particular morning giving you a full view of his wild sleep hair and his scarred up back from years of hero work.
This man was amazing, and you were completely and totally head over heels in love with him.
The rustling of the sheet broke your train of thought as he slowly rolled over in his sleep, turning to face you with half-lidded eyes.
"Good morning, Kitten."
"Morning to you too, sleepy head."
He let out a soft chuckle, his raspy morning voice sending shivers up your spine. His hand reached out and gently rested on your cheek before he pushed your hair behind your ear.
"You're so gorgeous. I'm so lucky to have you."

"What was that?"
"It sounded like an explosion!"
"An explosion? Here? That's not possi-" CRASH BOOM
The sound of explosions rang throughout the city as fire started to spread across the buildings. Your laughter flitted through empty rooms and open doorways as you ran through the halls of abandoned buildings. You could feel your heart racing as you ran, knowing if you were caught it meant a life sentence in prison. Feet running behind you is all you could hear besides the sound of the explosions going off outside.
The building you were in started to shake as you sped up towards the window at the end of the hall. This was it, if you couldn't make it, you would die with the rest of these good-for-nothing cops. But you knew one thing they didn't.
As you reached the end of the hall, the window blown out by the explosions, glass scattered across the floor, you could hear the cops yelling out to you.
"Stop! There's no where to run! We'll all die here if you don't just come with us now, kid."
Your grin only grew as you turned to look at all of them and climbed up onto the window sill.
"Bye guys," you spoke while waving as you fell backwards through the air. For a few seconds it felt as if you were free falling before you were caught in a pair of scarred arms.
"Hi babe, let's try not to do that again, right?"
You looked up at Dabi with a toothy grin while you wrapped your arms around his neck.
"No promises."

Tenko Shimura [Tomura Shigaraki]
Physical touch was hard to come by in your relationship. His quirk was putting a real damper on your mood at this point. You wanted to hold your damn boyfriend's hand, but noooooooooo, you couldn't because he didn't wanna dust you. Lame.
You stood outside of the shop waiting for the others to come out with whatever they were getting. Your mood was only getting worse as the days went by and everyone seemed to notice that. After waiting for what felt like forever, Shigaraki and Compress walked out of the store holding a bag each. You glanced over at the bag to see what was inside but your lover quickly moved it out of your sight.
"Ah ah, no looking."
Your pouting face almost got him, but he quickly steeled himself and looked away with much difficulty. Damn you thought.
The three of you made your way back to the base in a quick manner as not to gain attention from the people of the city. As soon as you entered, you shuffled off to your room in a depressed manner, Shigaraki following unbeknownst to you.
Turning to close the door you met his eyes.
"Shiggy? What's up?"
He quickly pushed past you into your room before he set the bag he had gotten from the store onto your bed. Reaching inside, he then pulled out what looked to be a pair of black artist's gloves.
"I wanted to make sure these worked before I tried them out on you...I know I haven't been able to hold you or even touch you and that's it's driving you crazy. so I just thought...I don't know..."
"You got those...because of me?" you asked. Your eyes started to well with tears before you lunged at him, wrapping your arms around him tightly, "I love you so damn much."

I wish sign language was an option at my school 😔 which is dumb cuz I’m going to enroll in a language specific university this year you would think they would have sign language but noooooooooo 😩

I am sooooooooo sorry I took me so long to get to these, I have been a bit under the weather but it’s Saturday night and behind is parked and here for this! So *cracks knuckles* Let's get started...cuz these are some weighty questions with some complicated answers ROFL

6. Who did they romance and why?
Like in-game... Maeve just Romances Cullen... because DAI is horrible and I have to mod my game to the fekking teeth to kiss Alistair in that game (but I do..) I honestly made Maeve have Poly relationship with Cullen and Alistair in my canon because I realized there was NO WAY I was keeping this “plausible” in-game anymore.
Cullen - Maeve gets into a Romance with Cullen first, he is one of the only people who actually listen to her in the early days of the Inquisition when Maeve was at some of her lowest points. They actually have a lot of little things in common, including a habit of not replying to letters from family. Which really having a lot of small things in common was away the built their relationship. Their relationship is not perfect, not easy by any means. But they do love each other. Cullen admires how Maeve just takes what is thrown at her and does her best to push through every obstacle. She doesn’t always do it happily, but she does it...
Alistair - Alistair started off as a stupid childish crush on Maeve’s part and an almost little sister/big brother dynamic. They were always close and Alistair always treated Maeve like just a person. (This is a pretty big thing in both relationships) There is A LOT of history between Maeve and Alistair and things do not even get off the ground smoothly. There are a lot of emotions and things to move past and it take a fair bit of time and Alistair seeing Maeve with Cullen and getting some jealous feels for him to even realize that he even has those types of feelings for Maeve. Then he spends a few months being very conflicted.... it’s gonna be very interesting to write when I get to that point!
13. What did they think of Solas?
Oh, him...
Well, Maeve doesn’t know what really to make of Solas. She doesn’t really trust him and there is something about him that makes her deeply uneasy from the get. Solas is extremely intrigued by Maeve, and knows more about her and where she comes from than he lets on. They have a very uneasy friendship. Solas tries his best to nudge Maeve to use her Magic more and when the battle of Haven comes it’s Solas who shoves his staff in her hands and tells her to do what she was meant to do... and really pushes Maeve to the point where she sees the only way they will win is if she uses her magic.
Their relationship really doesn’t turn to Maeve’s bestie... Raven (my friend @cornfedcryptid ‘s oc) comes into the mix properly. Because she and Solas become fade nerd buddies and Raven serves as a buffer for Maeve with Solas. Maeve and Solas are both very evasive people at times so them together in any way usually involve a lot of passive-aggressive backhanded comments and veiled ‘there is something not quite right about you’ and ‘I know more about you than you know about yourself’ tension between them.
Honestly, as a side relationship dynamic Maeve and Solas has the potential to be one of my favorite in the long term.
22. What is their biggest regret?
Maeve is one of those people who knows she messes up but actually has very few regrets. Easily it is ever thinking going to the conclave was going to end well. She had herself so convinced that it would be nothing, she would play spy for Morrigan, write her letter. Send it with some underling back to Orlais and she could make her way happily to Antiva. Now, does Maeve truly regret going? Not really. Because in the end, she does have a fair bit of good come out of all the events, it’s more she regrets ever letting herself believe that it was nothing more than some errand her sister was sending her on.
32. Who did they leave in the Fade, and why?
Well... Hawke... Poor Amara Hawke... got left in the fade because there was no way in the VOID that she was leaving her Ali-bear in fade. That was NOT happening oh... noooooooooo.
I love Amara, she is hands down my most used and favorite Hawke. She is a disaster (as all Hawkes are on some level) and romanced Anders... but in Maeve’s world state. Anders is dead. So Amara volunteers so Maeve doesn’t have to endure the pain of losing a man she is deeply in love with because we all know Alistair was ready to stay and do the whole Nobel self-sacrifice nonsense. Him and Maeve get into an actual fight over him wanting to stay... during the fight right before the nightmare... Amara even comments on how they fight like her and Anders did... it’s all emotional and angsty. It’s gonna be great.
Hawke may end up in the fade but... she gets a good send off and Maeve’s world is full of surprises too so you never know.

Erawan’s defeat
Pine green flashes through the hazy light of the sunrise as Rowan’s eyes seek out the faint forms on the horizon, hoping beyond hope that the reinforcements are Aelin’s. Because if not, if their plans fail, the world falls with them.
The soldiers are definitely Fae; he can scent it. Doranelle’s own army. Did Aelin’s plan really work? His mate had commanded him to leave her after they’d defeated Maeve together, claiming that she wanted to claim the army of Doranelle and then march on Erawan.
Or are the forces Maeve’s, coming to avenge the loss of their queen- Valg or not?
The world shakes with the force of each of the army’s synchronized footsteps, startling the Valg surrounding Rowan. He takes a moment to tug on the mating bond, asking Aelin if these forces are their own or not. The answer arrives as the banners come into view, gleaming in the bloodred sunrise that has engulfed the horizon.
Whitethorn banners, blazing with a fire that doesn’t burn, claim the army.
Her wild scream of victory surges through the mating bond, primal and raw and tinged with a promise of only the bloodiest violence. His veins surge with adrenaline and the prince roars back his own greeting to his mate, both vocally and through the mating bond.
Aelin raises her hands to the sky, the red sunrise directly behind her, as if the sun itself is a flame commanded by Aelin Ashryver Galathynius, Heir of Fire. And when she begins to blaze with an otherworldly light, Rowan’s own magic responds, leaping in glee at Aelin’s battle cry that echoes across the battlefield. The wind around him whips faster and faster of its own accord until the Prince of Doranelle is at the eye of his own tornado.
Across the field, the magic of others responds as well: wicked sharp icicles appear from the ground near Dorian to puncture bodies and rip limbs, Lorcan’s darkness blinds the eyes of all enemies within several meters of him, and next to Aedion, a full-grown dragon bares her teeth.
Even the Thirteen feel a surge of energy; even the tent of the healers is filled with gasps as they find their strength partially renewed.
Blasts of flames and darkness struggle against each other, each deadlier than the last as Aelin goes hand-to-hand with Erawan. The Fae make no move to assist, standing stubbornly where Aelin left them: within earshot, close enough to hear Aelin’s cries of pain.
Was this their plan all along? To betray Aelin when she needed it the most?
Rowan changes into his hawk form, flying towards his mate and his queen to help her. He sees Erawan reach out to Aelin’s side, which she’s left undefended as she reaches for the sword she dropped- oh gods- nonononono. Before Aelin can stop Erawan, a leash of darkness pulls the Wyrdkeys from her side. Just like that, the Valg King has all three keys- but Aelin is smiling...Rowan knows that smile.
And the army of Doranelle moves as one. Cupping their hands, they yodel as they had been taught for centuries upon centuries:
“OH LAWD I DUNNO WHAT I’LL DOOOO, ALL I DO IS SIT AND SiiiiiGGGHH oh LAWD”
Erawan’s head snaps up. The cringe- it’s his greatest weakness. He’ll die if he stays.
The army continues the ancient song of the Fae, stomping closer and closer, “THE LAST LONG DAY SHE SAiD GOODBYYYEEEE, OH LAWD I THOUGHT I WOULD CRYYYY”
The Valg King creates a Wydrgate with the keys, stumbling backwards frantically until he’s halfway through the portal, panicking at the meme, his most ancient enemy.
“NOOOOOOOOOO” he howls, a desperate cry of defeat as he knows his time in Erilea has come to an end. In one swift movement, Aelin swipes the keys from his hand, shoves him into the other world full of darkness and screams, and closes the gate.
“She’ll do me, she’ll do you, she’s got that kinda lovin,” Rowan whispers as the army continues the song of triumph. He shifts back into his human form right by Aelin’s side.
The world is safe. They’ve won. The power of memes and cringe.
“Don’t let your memes be dreams,” whispers his queen.
“Yeet,” answers the silver-haired warrior.
