If it’s a two-part films,

First film

I have to say Nekoma + Kamomedai is like 20-23 episodes long, so that’s like 6-7 hours long if they will animate everything. So I’m sure most likely there will be times when they will trim 7 manga chapters to one episode, like what they did to Inarizaki.

So most likely they will focus on the highlight plays and character growths.

Second film

Hearing one of the animators said they paid attention to ball boy arc because they wanted the audience to see hinata��s growth, I’m pretty sure they will pay attention to brazil arc as well.

Hence, my speculation here is that a lot of game plays that has no highlight will be trimmed.

does anyone understand what’s happening with Haikyuu?? Cause like.. season 5 confirmations but also not and now theres a official teaser trailer labeled as the final for the haikyu anime but its a movie? Don’t understand

i guess overall im just looking forward to seeing kuroo animated again, and apparently it’ll have some of the timeskip in it so that should be interesting?

wont be the same without kita though… this is what happens when you love those side characters with almost no screentime </3

it's difficult to even say I'm an anime fan in general bc the vast majority of them are so bad it's unreal. I've been thinking about this lately since I've been doing hxh rewatch #5 due to having 0 new shows to watch bc for every remotely decent well executed show that comes out there's like five hundred of the following: stupid light novel adaptations (always pervy), shitty isekai series that are virtually identical from each other aside from one stupid gimmick like "I got reincarnated in another world...but as a toaster oven?!" (also always pervy), disgusting harem series (pervy goes without saying), boring unfunny moeblob slice of life where literally nothing interesting ever happens, ecchi series full of the most degenerate fanservice you can imagine, b-list shounen that treats the female characters like shit, low budget poorly animated copy paste yumejo/fujobait show (nothing like the elite fujobait shows of MY day), etc etc.

like it's obviously bc they pander to the ones who spend the most money on merch and dvds and stuff (so hardcore otaku who are almost always total freakshows) & prioritize quantity over quality, but its annoying bc the medium has so much potential if they would just stop paying the animators sweatshop wages & focus on making series that appeal to a wide audience instead of pumping out slop for loser men who just want wish fulfillment, waifus & fetishes that completely alienate any other audience. I feel like this has been getting worse lately, I used to be able to watch a small handful of enjoyable shows every season (not all of them were masterpieces obv but just fun stuff that wasn't totally disgusting lol) now it's like maybe 2 a year. bah.

#at least dungeon meshi anime is coming out soon. + i have golden kamuy s5 & sk8 s2 to look forward to thatll be fun.#and the haikyuu movies obv. altho im still salty we arent getting a whole series for the literal best match in the whole manga #oh and isnt uzumaki finally getting an anime. we shall see abt that #the junji ito adaptations we have gotten so far are NOT good. lol #anyways id probably still be doing a hxh rewatch even if there were good new shows out lol. its the ultimate fave for a reason #my post

BOKUTO

it was cowardly of you to avoid bokuto like this, yes, but you didn’t know what else to do. you heard through akaashi that he was accepted into a team in osaka, but you were still in university. bokuto had kept a wide berth around you after an explosive fight a few weeks ago, where you told him you had no intention of leaving tokyo.

he enters your dorm room with a soft gaze, a melancholic downturn of his lips, like he knew what was coming.

“i heard from akaashi that you’re moving to osaka.”

“and you’re not coming with me?” bokuto queries.

you shake your head. “i want to finish up school here. plus, i want to work here.”

bokuto nods. “is there really nothing i can do?”

“i’m not changing my mind, kou.”

there are tears brewing in his eyes, as he sits next to you on your bed. his giant frame swallows you up into a tight embrace. you rest your forehead on his shoulder; he was always warm and smelled like the cologne you got for him when you were both eighteen. you melt into his arms; they’re like your second home.

“i hate that this is it for us. you don’t want to move or do long distance.”

“don’t put this all on me,” you snap.

“but i want to be with you,” bokuto whines, “and you want to break up. y/n, please. i’m begging you. i’ll call you every night--”

“i don’t think you need such a distraction. besides, i think it’s good for us to get to find ourselves outside of this relationship.” you point out.

“i don’t want to do that,” he says petulantly, “i just want to be with you.”

“koutarou, we need to be adults.” your words are cold, but he needs to hear them, “and i will always love you, but i need to be realistic.”

“we can make it work,” he insists, and you grow frustrated.

“we cannot. i don’t want long distance nor do i want to move with you. why can’t you respect that?”

he shrinks away. “i’m sorry. i’ll just miss you.”

you agree. but you don’t tell him that you’re also secretly looking forward to the time you’ll have to yourself, to be on your own. it’s too cruel to do that to him.

SAKUSA

things really begin to sink in when sakusa not only introduced you to his family, but his aunt and cousin, who he termed his ‘real family’. what was really an easy fling for you with a guy you met in a supermarket was now turning serious. way more serious than you would have liked.

“kiyoomi,” you ask, “does it bother you that i’ve not brought you home yet?”

he shakes his head. “i’m sure you have a reason.”

you frown. “kiyoomi, don’t you want to know why you haven’t met my family or friends yet?”

his dark eyes flicker with fear, like he knew he might not like your answer. he plasters on a neutral expression, like he’s about to deny your statement.

“i didn’t know we were that serious.” you inform him.

“what?” he asks, clearly bewildered.

“be honest, kiyoomi, what are we?” you ask.

“aren’t we a couple? we are in a relationship.” he points out.

you roll your eyes, “yes, but what kind?”

sakusa, clearly confused, continues, “one where we see each other exclusively. and we meet with the purpose of spending time with each other, and the eventual goal of settling down.”

“i don’t want all of that,” you say, “i never did. you went ahead and assumed, despite me telling you--”

“you don’t love me.” he observes quietly. his body goes rigid for a moment, like it was trying to contain all the shrapnel from his shattered heart within. he wasn’t going to spray you with the shards of his broken heart, “you don’t love me.”

“no, it’s not that--”

“goodbye.” he rises abruptly and leaves you behind.

ATSUMU

“and after we get married--”

“what?” you nearly spit out your drink.

atsumu had invited you over for a movie night, but as usual, you were talking over the movie. atsumu was talking about his future plans, particularly about the upcoming olympics in a couple of years.

“after we get married,” he repeats, unpertubed.

“atsumu,” you stop him, “what are you talking about? we’re not even that serious?”

it’s his turn to look at you in confusion. “what d’ya mean?”

“we literally just started dating and--”

“yeah,” he nods, “but i’ve loved ya forever and ever, so--”

“no, we’re not getting married. atsumu, i’ve barely had a chance to see the world.” you laugh at the absurdity of it all.

he looks hurt, “you don’t wanna get married? like now, or ever?”

“ever,” you grimace, “i just don’t think that’s for me.”

“oh,” he gets really quiet, staring at his palms, “oh. um, that’s okay. um.”

he struggles to find words, but you beat him to it. “i think we should nip this in the bud. i love you, as a friend or as a boyfriend or whatever, but our goals are clearly not aligned.”

he closes in on himself, uncharacteristically quiet, “okay.”

you leave his flat, ignoring the messages he bombards you with after. atsumu isn’t one to give up, but this time, you’re the one giving up. on him.

HINATA

“i know that this thing between us is temporary,” hinata sighs, “but i wish i could take you back to japan with me.”

“shouyou,” you smile sadly, “i love my home here too much to ever leave.”

the both of you sit on the beach, his hands gripping yours tightly as the waves and go against the shore. the sand is warm beneath you, and the sunlight makes his orange hair iridescent.

“i wish we were on the same page,” he laments.

you frown, “you mean, you want me to pack up my life and go back with you?”

he’s silent. you wrench your hands from his.

“you’re unbelievable. what about my wants? my goals?”

he doesn’t have an answer for you. he stares at you, willing you to see things from his perspective. but that’s a herculean task when he refused to see things from yours. with a flourish, you leave.

hinata finds that cutting of his final tie to brazil, a place which had become increasingly harder to leave, was the most painful of them all. but he feels free now, to take flight once he gets back home.

i dont know how to feel rn.

like we just got the haikyuu nekoma match trailer, and i am SO EXCITED.

but im still grieving jjk.

like- wtf is up with this week??

last wednesday: jjk leaks

last thursday: bsd s5 final ep got released

last friday: jjk sealing ep

and yesterday: haikyuu trailer

i truly dont know how to feel.

and while im very excited to finally get new haikyuu content, im scared were not gonna get the timeskip arc animated, and that is terrifying me almost to the same scale as how we dont know whats gonna happen in the new chapters of bsd and jjk.
