okay, I'm a mix between just being excited that we're actually seeing Haikyuu adapted to the end, and being upset that it might just be two movies??? Like a season and two movies would be fine! but literally, where are you going to end the first movie if you split it into two movies?

like if it was a season and a movie, you could do roughly a season to the nekoma match, half a season to the kamomedai match with a few episodes in for the all important fukoradani arc (aka my favourite few chapters in the manga, if this doesn't get adapted, which it won't if it's just two movies, i will flip my fucking shit)

but in two movies, if the first just covers the nekoma match the kamomedai match will be shrunk down too much in the second film and if the first movie covers both and the second movie is just post time skip (which seems more realistic) then the two best manga matches will both be way too short.

Even if it's a two hour movie, 1 hour to cover each match isn't enough for everything important that happens in those!

me when they don't release haikyuu season 5 and the manga has ended and the fandom is slowly dying and i hv no mutuals to scream over haikyuu with and my fav ships don't hv enough content and all in all haikyuu is in shambles :

This is me speculating how much time the Nekoma match, Fukurodani match Kamomedai match and the laaaaarge post timeskip arc will get during the two movies that will be approximately 4hrs long:

Don't get me wrong guys I'm super happy that we're getting new Haikyuu content soon, especially the post timeskip content, which I didn't expect to get that soon. I thought s5 would only cover the Nekoma match and Fukurodani's. Nevertheless, I'm still a little anxious that many great and philosophical moments will come too short. But let's not complain too much for now, instead let's go out and celebrate!

I am still bitter with season 4 part 2, now they wanna make me suffer even more?? There are a lot of chapters and arcs that were beautifully written and drawn by Furudate. Im not gonna let them butcher all of it like that??!!
