I've seen one (1) Shenpai video of her playing Baldur's Gate 3, alongside creating a character with @notanegrill for his second play (first play didn't work out so well) and I am already in love with Astarion.

I'm an Astarion enjoyer and damn it not again with the white hair and pointy eared guys who can charm my shoes off in ten or less words. He sees us as food that should not be as attractive but he is a little babo shnookums and he is such a pathetic little thing that I can't help it. He can't say 'CAN I HAVE JUST A LITTLE TASTE' with those tired watery eyes and not expect me to cave in like a caprisun you sucked the air from.

All to the reluctant acceptance of some.

And the support of others.

Can't wait to dream about him.

On the flip side of the 'See mode' tab,

Speaking of dreams we got a real handsome boy this time around and they're so adorable!! I think we named him Asher and he's a Bard, which V didn't expect would matter too much until he realized that being a Wizard was easier to study that alien technology/language while trying to save that other woman. Wow names will be so hard starting from now.

I didn't save any screenshots of his final looks but maybe V will be able to provide eventually. Until then, have some of our conversations during the 2 hour long character creation.

V: "Are these *points at purple* the shades of a Drow?"

Me: "Generally yeah, I think?" *Surprised I see the 'general' skin shades are also going into normal human skintones*

V: "What if I- OH! NO!"

Me: *Guffawing at snow white princess drow*

V: *Clicking through every imaginable hairstyle top to bottom* "This is the first game where changing the hairstyle actually makes the character look different."

Me: *Watching Asher go from pig tails to balding head* "Yeah, yeah, it's like it's a different person every time you click on one."

Both of us: *Silently admiring two hair styles, one of which is very ME and the other being very HIS type*

I don't know if she's meant to have a name but she is so pretty, I think we ended up making her a Wood Elf so we played along with the forest aesthetic.

I love her.

Also this is the Shenpai video. I forgot Im a fan of her content because it's so fun to watch and the reactions are 1 to 1 with what I would have done. Love the content, the creator, actually the bestest experience of actual gameplay.

I would like to offer the possibility of a Ron x Harry x Hermoine ship where Ron is the voice of reason, Harry is either the goodest or the most feral boy (or both; what's stopping him exactly?), and Hermoine IS still the brain, but she needs to be reminded to have self-control.

They can be in any house, because they will make it work.

I cannot even express the amount of adoration I hold for the person who has been by my side long enough to make me like those horrible little Sumeru creatures to the point I embrace my creature-ness and I need all of you to see the series:

For context:

-Green Aranara is me

- Pink Aranara is my friend

- Peach Aranara is Pinkie

-Brown Aranara is Mink from DMMD

-Blue Aranara is Aoba from DMMD

I take care of my friends the way they might need and if that is headpats and biszkoty, there are no qualms over it. Some days are just tough and you need to be a little dude getting crumbs all over your face. I love you.

Though sometimes we can just share and that is good enough for friendship.

Though around this time a lot had already happened we started playing DMMD since I am obsessed and they were really interested after having played it once and never again. Or something. During exam and work my head was full of worms.

We ran the entire Mink route together because I needed it, then everything else is left to their time and eventually I broke my silence about the existence of Re:Connect. Dreading the bad ending of each game by the way, I have never felt more depressed and sad that Leaff got the good ending by just not wanting to help the dying people mean while I went straight for it and then Mink said 'I' ll preserve your pure soul alright'

They cried. I cried, but less and from love and because I am so in love with Mink.

Aoba really wasn't sure what the hell is happening and /I/ was absolutely sure we messed up (did I say I have played it 4 times and have forgotten it every new replay?) and got something bad until he looked up in that little room of his and I knew he heard us. Just by that look.

Then some time later I recieve the question of wtf is wrong with Clear why is he just refusing to cooperate when you get inside his head?

Today was a pretty great day. I woke up with Ror when he got up for work and chatted with him for a bit before he left. Since it was early I went back to sleep for another couple hours before getting up and showering and getting ready for the day. I used the blowout brush on my hair which I don’t do often even though I always love how it looks when I do. Met my oldest daughter for our monthly coffee date at our favorite coffee house and caught up with her. We have a little book we update every month with what the two of us were up to individually and as a family and we look back through all the pictures we’ve taken over the last month. I really enjoy it and I’m hoping that by building the habit now while she’s still at home that maybe we can keep it up when she moves out in a couple years. After Jen left I stayed at the coffee shop until it closed and helped get stuff ready to go into the Christmas boxes assembly-line style. My friend’s goal was to raise enough funds to ship 75 boxes by holding a raffle. Long story short we stuffed 164 boxes this afternoon!!! She was giddy and I loved getting to contribute to that!! After I left Lofty I met my girlfriend Kelly for a workout and dinner. We were originally planning on sushi but had a change of plans and went to a pub instead. I’d never been and it was delicious. It was so good to catch up. Now I’m home and Oso is snuggled up with me and Sammie just got herento hang out for a bit!
