can you give me tips how to mentally prepare yourself for school, i always get anxious when it comes to school :(
Hey Love, I hope you're doing alright; I know how horrible going back to school can feel. Before I switched to online school, I would always dread the end of summer, but here are a few things that might help you get through it. <3
Remember, everything is temporary. As dumb as this may sound, it's the truth. Before you know it, it will all be in the past, and you'll just look back at it as a slightly uncomfortable memory.
Establish little rituals before school. Do your make-up in the morning, have tea, do some reading on the bus, text your friends, and write down some affirmations. Little things that take the focus off the whole school thing and make the morning a bit nicer, you know? :)
Pick up a journal, not in a cute and aesthetic way but rather in a messy and freeing way. Write down all of your thoughts and worries. Getting things out of my head always helps me calm down :)
Be prepared for class. If you had any homework over the summer break, make sure to finish everything, do some extra reading and so on; being prepared will at least make the whole class thing feel less scary…
Plan a cute outfit. Wear something that makes you feel beautiful. <3
Romanticise, Romanticise, Romanticise. Make a vision board, buy some cute stationery, get a coffee before class, listen to a comforting playlist, bring a book to distract yourself…
