Anybody know what these are? I like picking up pretty things, and usually I have absolutely no clue what they are haha
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Found in AZ, US
They look very bubbly, like it was all melty at some point.
Usually pink, not quite see-through. Less than a quartz.
Tumblr media
Sometimes they get a little red on the bottom. Occasionally orange.

Anyways, would greatly appreciate if anyone could identify these! They're super easy to find and I have two heaping plates worth haha <3

THE GOSPEL OF PARTSERPENT scribed by Kirakos (Armenia: Hromkla (Cilicia) by the order of Catholicos Costantin Partserpertsi, 1248)
After the Armenian genocide of 1915, the manuscript was carried, together with the right hand of St. Gregory the Illuminator and other relics and ancient manuscripts, to Aleppo (Syria) and then to Antelias (Lebanon).
Most pages of the 700 page manuscript contain miniatures of biblical narratives, and a miniature of each Evangelist appears on the first page of his Gospel.
The front and back covers are made of silver.

Hello fellow shifters. I would like to propose a crystal to help with your shifting. (If you believe that crystals can aid you 💛 if you don’t kindly just scroll by please)
Sunstone
Helps with alleviating stress, negative thoughts and emotions, especially ones to do with self confidence. This stone provides deep emotional support which could help a shifter with confidence issues or in a negative mindset.
When I use this stone for shifting I will hold it in my hands and meditate with it. Imagining the sun’s guiding and uplifting light fill my body and help give me confidence and energy before a shifting attempt.

happy saturdayyy
aka diēs Saturnī, or Saturn's day.
Of course it is associated with the Roman deity Saturn, but also the Greek Kronos (and Hekate in my opinion), the Hindu Shani, the Etruscan Satre, and the Norse Loki to name a few.
Common associations with Saturday, its gods, and its planet are karma, self-discipline, change, learning lessons, authority, the more forceful and authoritarian side of leadership, and rigidity.
Saturdays are a great day for getting our lives in order - start breaking habits, make a plan to work hard, get things done, plan to amend our ways, reduce self-indulgence, and be more stern with ourselves.
Spells and rituals that are great for Saturdays are: protective spells, grounding spells or meditations, cord cutting [regarding setting boundaries or cutting our relationship with a habit], banishing, and spells regarding career or specific material/monetary goals, and baneful magic (don't @ me lmao).
Great tools that amplify this energy are black and red candles, salt/black salt, onyx, obsidian, black tourmaline, root vegetables, mullein, black pepper (in my opinion), "baneful" plants, juniper, or really any plants that handle adverse conditions well.
ok enjoy your Saturday, byeeeee

Diaspore
A magnificent gemstone. Turkish Diaspore. What makes this stone special is that it changes color according to the light spectrum.
In different light sources, the Turkish Diaspore can also exhibit khaki greens, sage greens, cognac pinks, pinkish champagnes, canary yellows, rich champagnes and reds. During a candlelit dinner, the same gem reveals shades from pink to raspberry.

I had an idea to try some shots while holding the little raw stones I have, but I hated how it looked with my left hand and didn't want to mirror it, so I just. figured out how to hold the camera with my left hand and still press the shutter. I don't want to talk about it. 😂

Good afternoon everybody! We'll it's a lazy Sunday so I'm going through my aqua parcels. Thought you might like some "behind the scenes" fun stuff!
Many steps are involved in gem identification even when purchasing from a trusted source. Regardless of where originally purchased, I PERSONALLY examine each loose gemstone thoroughly.
In addition to magnification and my Presidium dial gauge, which I use to measure the gems, I used a chelsea filter, dichroscope, refractometer, polariscope, and special lighting.
After identification, clarity, cut, color, and carat weight are established. The last step is to apply all of this to current price per carat evaluations and established a fair and highly competitive asking price. I subscribe annually to Gemval services, which I wholeheartedly recommend. Proportions (length to with ratio) is also a consideration, the overall make of the cutting, as well as the condition of facets (especially if the stone came out of an existing mounting).
The larger rectangular cushion cut aqua measures 18mm x 13.3mm x 9mm (13 carats!). It has very pleasing color, don't you think? I really prefer aquas that have a very slight greenish undertone.
The smaller aqua measures 12mm x 8.6mm x 6.2mm (4.38 carats). This one has a more desirable blue color and deeper saturation than the first one, but I still have a thing for the slightly greenish undertones of the first one.
For grading purposes, obviously I follow industry standards. But for purchasing for myself, I don't always go by those strict standards. I think its much more important to follow what you personally LOVE, and how the gem speaks to you! Both gems are very pretty though!
