1/60 Days of Productivity.

There's 60 days till exams are over, so I thought I could do a 60 Days of Productivity challenge.

Revision has not been as smooth as I had hoped it would be. Everyday is a struggle and my mental health has never been worse, but I'm stuck on this miserable plane of existence so I may as well just focus on today and forget the existential horror of the years ahead, right?

okay but can we actually talk about scared giants?? so much untapped potential. like sure, it's more "likely" for the tiny to be scared when interacting with a giant given the immense difference both in size and power, with the real control being in the hands of the giant. but what if that's not the case?

i'm not even talking about "being scared of a bug/mouse" type of thing here. think of a scenario where the tinies have advantage over giants. think of tinies being a threat to giantkind because they consider them a threat. think of a scenario where the giant does everything in their power to keep their existence a secret because of what the smaller folk could do to them. think of a scenario where the giant has had previous haunting encounters with tinies (being held captive, mistreated, and so on) and avoiding them for that reason

the juxtaposition of this monumental being that could crush you with little to no effort being absolutely terrified of encountering something only a fraction of their size is so, so good

The last week has been difficult. I've been struggling to meet deadlines and complete tasks, while simultaneously trying to keep positive and not let panic set in.

In the end it was a good nap that that helped reset everything. Working whilst sleep deprived negatively affects productivity to the point where I stay up to finish my tasks leaving me more worse off the next day.

I took a break from everything for a while and now I'm ready to do my best again.

This week I have been practicing textbook questions from cost accounting. I was finally able to get the rest of my study material and have been frantically revising tax. By the end of next week I should be able to do a revision test for taxation to assess my knowledge.

one of my favorite g/t visuals is just giants being clumsy in a world too small for them

giants bonking their head on doorframes, branches and various other ledges. hitting their head on the ceiling (and rubbing the sore spot afterwards). constantly getting stuck in places like alleyways and buildings. accidentally crushing something like a car under their foot. trying to tip toe around said cars and other smaller stuff! underestimating their own strength and breaking so many things on accident. unintentionally causing tremendous earthquakes

like the giant might not even mean to be as clumsy, it's just that the inconveniences of being so outsized make it near impossible to avoid it. it emphasizes how much the giant doesn't fit in the environment around them. i love it

Indeed I am! I mainly focus on researching Pokemon, especially their strengths, as well as bringing out their full potential. And if I may add, your studies sound interesting as well!

Yep. That's me...Mr. G Hirose. And y'seem pretty familiar as well, Mr. Funny Coin Man. And I can't blame Lucian. Achroma's always invested in his nerd stuff as well, so I guess I just tag along.

I don't really make personal posts, like, at all anymore, so I hope you recognise that this means a great deal to me: There's this puzzle adventure game series that I loved as a kid. It got a DS game and a wii sequel (that didn't come out in america), and I played them out of order because there was a big marketing push here for the second game that my mom saw and got it for me for christmas in 2009. (shout out anyone else that remembers "the game you read and solve like a mystery novel")

Then there was nothing. As far as I could tell, it faded into obscurity for almost 15 years. When I first started streaming, I told myself that when I had a big enough audience, I would stream the games to show them off to as many people as I could.

In September, a switch remake of both games was announced. I was very excited, but in a bittersweet way, because I still don't really have a big enough audience on either Twitch or Youtube for me to say "yeah it's finally time," but with Another Code: Recollection releasing on the 19th of January, I do want to stream the originals as a trip down memory lane, to refresh myself on the story before seeing it in a new light, and maybe to show them off to someone who may be interested in checking out the new one.
