I love the use of this t-shirt as a symbol for Sand. An unexpected memento left behind from the first time Sand took care of Ray. How it's stayed in Ray's possession since then, something he kept without really noticing.

The term "poor boy" is an obvious reference to our resident singer. When Ray wore it, it was a tongue-in-cheek dig at his 'poor little spoilt rich boy' mentality. And now Ray is seeing it in the context of how he's treated Sand poorly. How Sand really is a “poor boy” for being on the receiving end of Ray’s antics, and yet he’s still here.
