Headcanon 6

Percy Weasley got his first tattoo at the age of 16 at a Muggle tattoo parlor.

After that first tattoo, when he came of age, he got 3 more.

No one found out until after the war where all the brothers were at the Burrow and he was getting out of the shower and George came in and saw his tattoos.

And you know that George can’t keeps a secret.

Saw a post on Reddit, and now I have feelings. Allow me to stand on this here soap box for a minute.

JKR has stated that Fred and George figured out the passphrase for the Maurader's Map by being coached through it by the map itself. This makes me all the more irritated with the line "Never trust anything if you can't tell where it keeps its brain" and I absolutely hate that she made Arthur Weasley say it. It's a moment completely out of character for him, a man who offers soft comfort and encouragement to his children every day. A man who only ever raised his voice once in 7 books when his sons took a prank too far and intentionally caused harm. There's no way he would berate his daughter, who is clearly torn up about what happened, for getting manipulated, especially not as the first words he speaks to her after she was minutes away from death.

Inconsistent world building leads to inconsistent characters. It's literally never addressed that the map is sentient, just like the fucking diary. Nope, we're just told talking diary = evil, and dumb Ginny should have known better; meanwhile, talking map = funny and brilliant piece of magic.

Fred and George fucked around with a parchment that coached them how to reveal enchantments on it and nothing happened to them. How the hell was an 11yo girl supposed to assume her talking diary was nefarious??? She lives in a literal world of magic where letters scream at you and mirrors offer encouragement and grooming tips. Why the fuck *wouldn't* a magical diary offer sympathy and soothing words, friendship and camaraderie??

I have to step off this soap box, I could ramble on forever, so I'll part with these words - JKR did Ginny dirty

I just watched the series finale of Mystery Inc. and I have to say that Mayor Jones was ROBBED!

The post-Nibiru timeline should have been him having (legitimately) adopting and raising Fred. He was the one who deserved it most. Not Brad and Judy who betrayed and even tried to kill Fred!

(for my regular readers, this is the Harry Potter ficlet I meant to write yesterday)

The first order of operations, after their great escape from Hogwarts, was Gringotts bank to set up the last of their business affairs. After that, they went directly to the ministry. Fred and George shared a glance while in the elevator. They had some... Business with the family services division.

A week and a half after the Weasley twins left Hogwarts with a bang, Harry got a letter from them. Well, actually, Harry got two letters, a letter from Remus, which was a clever disguise for the letter from the twins, involving the same passphrase as the Marauders Map, and a letter from the ministry, which was explained by the letter from the twins from Remus.

Dearest Ikle Harrykins,

You should, at this time, have received a letter from the family services division at the ministry. We would have talked to you about this before going through with it, but we thought it best to act as soon as we legally could, instead. We want you to know that we have the utmost respect for your parents, and in no way are we trying to replace them—we'd be very poor replacements, in all honesty, your father was a legend, and your mum was bloody brilliant with a wand—we just want you to have a better home life than the one you do now, and we're tired of waiting for the adults in our lives to step up and step in. We have tried so many times to get mum or dad to lodge an inquiry or sue for custody, but they never took us seriously, and for that, we're truly sorry. They lost out on the chance to gain a truly spectacular—stupendous—extraordinary—yeah, alright, you get it, wonderful son like you. Instead, they'll get the shock of a lifetime, with their twin seventeen year old sons giving them their first grandbaby. Congrats, mum, it's a boy!

Harry, we want what's best for you, but we want you to trust us most of all. We know you struggle with authority figures, and we know there's a very good reason for that. You don't have to call us anything specific, simply using our names will do, but we're open to anything you'd be comfortable calling us. If you'd prefer more of a brotherly relationship over anything paternal, well, we certainly have more than enough practice with that! Either way, we will have to set and enforce certain rules, no matter what, though the what and how would be better discussed in person than over post.

We also want you to be prepared for a potential eruption of Mount Molly when we come to pick you up from the station, we haven't exactly told mum that we adopted you. We've only told Remus, Snuffles, and Bill, who helped ward our shop as part of our deal with the FSD for being allowed to adopt, "Someone of such standing while so young," hope you don't mind.

Anyway, if you want to tell your muggle relatives that you've found alternative housing for the rest of your schooling, you may want to do so soon, or you can simply write Remus back that you'd like your mischief managed and one of us will take care of it instead. Whichever you'd prefer, though honestly, I think Bill is planning on checking out those supposed blood wards on the place no matter what you say, just so you know.

We hope we haven't stepped too far out of bounds. We hope that we haven't broken your trust in us, or think we don't trust you for not talking to you about this before we left. Honestly, we thought of this idea right before we walked into Gringotts, so there wasn't time to talk to you beforehand. While it was somewhat spur of the moment, we do not and cannot regret adopting you, only the lack of discussion between us about it.

Gred and Forge

Before Harry knew it, he was in tears. He was beyond glad he'd taken the letters to bed with him and read them in privacy, or he'd have to explain to Ron and Hermione, or, Merlin forbid, the whole House, that he was fine, better than fine, even. His friends, his brothers, had seen him struggling to stay afloat, and instead of patting him on the head and telling him it was okay, they bloody well made him a life preserver and tied the other end to themselves. He legally never had to go back to the Dursley's ever again, the letter from the ministry confirmed it. Fred and George were his legal guardians, no one could force Harry to go anywhere without their say-so.

Hastily, and somewhat quietly due to the sleeping state of most of his roommates, Harry rushed to find a relatively intact piece of parchment to write his reply. He never wanted anything to do with his relatives again. A sob ripped out of his chest as it fully sunk in. He was free.

Still sick (⁠٥⁠↼⁠_⁠↼⁠) But we got snow this morning, so that was a good surprise! ✧⁠◝⁠(⁠⁰⁠▿⁠⁰⁠)⁠◜⁠✧ I had a really busy day today, so today's ficlet is pretty short, but I wanted to make sure I actually kept my word (even though I didn't write this the day I initially meant to (⁠^⁠～⁠^⁠;⁠)⁠ゞ)

I'm not sure if I'll write any more non-Danny Phantom × DC/Danny Phantom × Batman ficlets (ie anything not of those crossovers) the rest of this month, I might throw in another Miraculous Ladybug × Batman ficlet or two for the practice, but I haven't really read anything not in one of those three fandoms (Miraculous Ladybug, Danny Phantom, and DC/Batman (a lot of Batman fics involve the wider DC universe, but not all of them...)) in a few months and that's making writing anything not in those fandoms more difficult than is helpful when I only have a single day to work on a given prompt 乁⁠(⁠ ⁠•⁠_⁠•⁠ ⁠)⁠ㄏ after November, when I'm no longer limited to just one prompt per day, we'll see!

He Realizes That He Likes You (Part 2)

George: Slytherin, halfblood, same year

I watched as she graceful swung around hand linked with Draco Malfoy. They looked like a match made in heaven. Her emerald green dress paired perfectly with his emerald bow tie.

Nothing about their relationship was hard. Even though (y/n) was a half blood, they both came from well known Slytherin families. Her mom was a very well-known Auror, and she met her dad on a mission.

I didn't think they were dating, but I wasn't so sure. I had always wanted to ask her about it, but I could never bring myself too. I wasn't one to get nervous around girls, but she kept me on the edge. I always felt like I was one step away form tumbling off a cliff whenever I was around her.

I had told myself that tonight would be the night that I talked to her. I wasn't sure how I exactly felt about her but maybe talking things out with her would help me understand my feelings. I thought that maybe she felt the same way. But then there would be times when she was constantly with Malfoy and I believed that she had feelings for him.

When I couldn't stand looking at them anymore, I decided to grab a drink and go get some air. I just needed a quiet space to sip my drink and take a couple of deep breaths.

After standing outside for a while, I decided to head back inside to grab another drink. I don't know why, but my throat was extremely dry tonight. I grabbed the drink and whipped around slamming into another body.

I instantly began apologizing reaching out towards the shorter figure to keep them from falling back onto the ground. The emerald green color looked very familiar. It felt as if my throat closed up when her eyes met mine.

"George." She hissed looking down at the huge stain on her dress. I saw tears begin to form at her eyes.

"(y/n) I am so sorry. I didn't mean to do this. Please let me make this up to you. What can I do?"

"There's nothing you can do nothing Weasley." It was Malfoy who had walked up to (y/n) and wrapped his arm around her waist pulling her in closer to him. I could feel the agitation and my fist clenched which Malfoy could tell because his smirk grew and he pulled (y/n) in even closer to him. "It's not like you can afford to get her another one."

"It's fine." She mumbled lightly pushing herself away from Malfoy, "I'm just going to go to the bathroom and try to clean up." She gripped her dress and pulled it up a little so she could quickly walk towards the bathroom.

Malfoy spat a couple of insults at me before walking off into the crowd. I turned around and tried to follow (y/n). I watched as she slipped into the bathroom and I followed behind her.

"George." She said in a scolding tone. "You're going to get in trouble if you stay in here. You better leave before anyone sees you."

"(y/n), I don't care." I admitted taking a couple of steps towards her. "I just need to know how you feel about me. You're with me and I think maybe you do like me and then I see you with Malfoy and then I get my feelings hurt so tell me who it is."

"George I-" she began but before I could stop myself I leaned towards her and placed a kiss on her lips. I just needed to do this at least once before I found out that she was going to choose Malfoy over me.

I was surprised when she didn't pull back. Instead she lightly grasp my shirt pulling me in closer to her. She pulled back and giggled, "does that answer your question?"

Fred: Gryffindor, halfblood, 2 years below (same as trio)

"Where's Hermione?" I questioned running into the common room. Ron and Harry were playing a game of chess, but Hermione was nowhere to be found. My eyes scanned across the common room looking for her one more time before I noticed (y/n) coming down the stairs.

She was clutching a book and some parchment paper so I assumed she was about to start working on an essay.

"Hi Fred." She grinned when she walked by me. Ever since that day I stopped Malfoy and his posse, she managed to say hello to me whenever she saw me.

"Hello (y/n)." I replied feeling my face heat up. She was just so stinkin cute. "Have you been doing okay?"

"I've been good." She nodded slightly. "I was just looking for Hermione to help me work on a paper for Charms. I'll see you later." She gave me a quick wave and headed out the portrait hole. I couldn't manage to say anything when she left, all I could do was wave. She gave me a weird look but just shook it off. I noticed that Ron and Harry were snickering.

"What's so funny?" I grumbled staring down at them.

"Why don't the two of you just date already?" Harry questioned.

"But I don't like her."

"Sure." Ron rolled his eyes, "and that's why you get all awkward whenever she comes around."

"What did you need Hermione for?" Harry asked.

"I just needed to talk to her."

"About what? (y/n)?" Ron jokingly answered. When I didn't say anything the both of them just stared me.

"Wow." Harry let out a low whistle. "You stick up for her and now you can't get over her."

"No. It's not like that."

"Then tell me, what is it like?" Ron snickered leaning back in his chair and focusing his attention on me.

"I just think she's cute and I was going to ask Hermione if she happened to feel the same."

"So you do like her?" Harry pointed out.

"No." I answered.

"Yes." Ron pressed on me, "just think about it."

"I do." I finally admitted mostly to myself plopping down on a couch.

Cedric: Hufflepuff, muggleborn, same year

"I cannot believe you called a mandatory practice tonight." (y/n) grumbled shoving past me forcing her shoulder to bump into mine. We were all standing in the locker room changing for a quick practice I planned tonight.

"Ow." I hissed massaging my shoulder. "And you're late." I was known to call for mandatory practices which the team accepted so I don't understand why she was acting so upset. She knew exactly what it was like to be on this team. We were playing against Ravenclaw this weekend and I wanted us to come out on top.

"Sorry." She rolled her eyes plopping down on a bench. "You called this practice an hour ago. I had to cancel plans. We get that you can't stand to lose to your ex-girlfriend, but we've practiced for the past 5 days for at least 3 hours. We're tired Ced." She complained. I felt my heart flip when she used that nickname.

"I understand that but I just came up with a couple more plays that I want us to focus on. I promise that practice won't last longer than 2 hours tonight."

"Fine." She grumbled and sat quiet for the rest of the time we were going through plays on the chalk board.

Even though (y/n) was muggle born, she had fallen in love with the wizarding sport Quidditch. I had mentioned it to her during our 2nd year and she said that she wanted to try it out. Turns out she was an amazing Keeper.

Practice only ended up lasting about an hour or so. I looked at the schedule and saw that it was (y/n)'s turn to clean up the equipment. As she started heading outside, I decided I would walk with her. I didn't usually do this but I just wanted to talk to her.

"Wow. Guess I get some lucky treatment."

"(y/n) you know that the team looks up to you. I would really like you to be onboard with me when things like this happen."

"I know Ced, but I was just looking forward to something tonight."

"What was it?" I questioned. I wasn't trying to intrude or anything; just trying to make conversation.

"Nothing important." She mumbled walking away from me. I wasn't too curious about it before but now I really wanted to know what other plans she had.

"C'mon (y/n). You were so upset about having practice. I just want to know why."

"I had a date." She said barely audible.

"What?" I asked her to repeat herself not sure if I was hearing things right.

"I had a date." She repeated even louder.

"A date?" I questioned. I'm not sure why, but I was jealous. I had always thought she was beautiful and I had been wondering why she never had a boyfriend, but I just always assumed it was cause she didn't want one.

"I know. I know. I was stupid for thinking that a guy would actually like me." She was staring down at her feet not able to meet my eyes.

"Don't ever say that again." I took a step towards her, "(y/n) you are amazing. And I know this sounds cliché but any guy would be lucky to have you."

"You really think that?"

"Really." I nodded tilting her chin up and forcing her to look up at me. Then it slowly started to dawn on me why I was so jealous. "I mean it (y/n)."

Let's talk about Harry Potter shall we

First of all, I would like to make it clear that I do not condone hateful language, if you disagree with me fine but you can do so respectfully this means you don't accuse me of lying or call me names. If you do I will delete your comment and block you I have no time for that.

Albus Dumbledore is both a villain and a hero.

Our lovely headmaster is a master manipulator and while he cares for the greater good of the society I don't think he cares for the greater good of individuals. We all know of his relationship with Grindelwald but the loss he suffered due to the different paths they choose to take in life. I can see the headmaster as a protector but at the same time, he fashions himself to be all-knowing while holding back critical information. The Horcruxes were vile but I'm sure if he had asked in the right places for help he would have known how to remove it from Harry.

He set the boy up to die and manipulated Harry on several occasions. I also want to ask WHY DID HE NOT GIVE BACK THE INVISIBILITY CLOAK? Honestly, I have so many questions about the reasons behind this man's decisions.

Ron Weasley in the movie is not the best friend or boyfriend.

I don't care who you ship with these two however realistically speaking these two would not work. While the book Ron is a much better friend than the movie Ron and has more lines than the movie ron. He is not the ideal friend or boyfriend to anyone he has a nasty habit of abandoning Harry the Goblet of Fire and deathly hallows two. For those of you who are ready to blame the Horcrux shut up. If it were Hermione who left y'all would be up in arms.

Ron may support Harry in his battles and occasionally in his worst times but he is quick to anger and jealousy but rather lazy and sometimes downright cruel.

When it comes to his relationship with Hermione I personally see it as wasteful or a high school love that fades after a year or two probably less. Hermione is ambitious, hardworking and quite determined she is intelligent and fierce. Ron however while he is smart (when he wants to be) lacks ambition and is lazy unless it's something he likes and he does not understand Hermione much.

They Lack shared interests other than magic and Harry the two are very different but they share a trauma bond right. Also, does anyone notice that Ron is quicker to find fault with Hermione than positive things? At least he admits she is scary but brilliant.

Molly Weasley is either too controlling or really dumb.

First of all her response to the bars on the windows and Harry barely being fed bothers me what kind of parent says that. Second of all that woman is not supportive of Fred and George at all and it irritates me. I know that they are identical twins but I have been around identical twins and can easily tell them apart these are your sons lady.

She harps and harps about a ministry job but Charlie is a dragon tamer in Romania and Bill is a curse breaker in Eygpt. The fact two of her eldest sons found their jobs far far away from her says something. THE HOWLERS yall that is cruel just because you have to does not mean you should use it. Embarrassing your kids like that is never okay.

Her lack of respect for Sirius in his own home, when it pertains to his own godson, is disgusting. She acts like she is Harry's mother and while she may be seen as a surrogate she is not his godmother or guardian. While Sirius is a fugitive he is Harry's godfather she did not have any right to treat him as she did.

Her behaviour in the goblet of fire to Hermione before Harry opened his mouth. If it was because she thought Hermione was manipulating or hurting Harry the first thing she should have done was ask Harry about the article and not treat Hermione like that. If this was about Ron and his "feelings" for Hermione then she needs to keep that to herself nobody is obligated to date and marry anyone cause they have a crush on them.

Hermione Granger is often placed on a pedestal

Hermione like every character in this show is flawed as she grows she learns but she has some bad behaviours. She puts books and education before her own individuality and in the first book is a bit of a bossy snob that slowly changes over time. She follows authority without a thought too much for anyone's liking but that also changes but ummm y'all Hermione is dangerous she kept a woman in a jar, convinced Harry and Ron to drug and hide their year mates and then pretend to be them while providing the means to do so.

She uses a spell on a student to help Ron get on the team. Her hitting Draco is a thing of legend but Hermione is definitely not a goody two shoes. What scares me about that is that she hides this side of her behind her bookworm nice girl mask. Only Harry and Ron get to see how cruel and protective Hermione could be.

Ginny Weasley and Harry Potter bother me,

Everyone loves them and that's nice but umm she could pass as his sister. She is literally Lily Evans if she liked Quidditch and was a pureblood when I picked up on the distinction I wanted to vomit. Her description and Lily's are very similar with minor changes honestly this relationship bothers me.

Draco Malfoy was a bigot and racist but he also deserved a chance that is all I am saying on the Draco front.
