Shizun 031 - New roommate

The bed in the luxury hotel was very comfortable. Lu Yunzhen had silenced his phone for the night and slept deeply. By the time he woke up, the world had changed.

Countless dms filled his phone, friends and classmates wouldn’t stop asking him about what relationship he had with Hu Sui. And He Mengmeng had thrown a tantrum while calling him daddy and didn’t stop until after over 100 texts and 20 phone calls…

Lu Yunzhen almost thought it was april fools day.

He carefully flipped through information, saw the weibo screenshots, then his full to bursting dms and the trending searches, and fell into a long silence.

This “daddy” thing is a bit of an issue…

He thought about it, then posted a few laughing emojis in the group chat and said. “Yes, he’s my cute son! His filial piety is going to take me to the peak of my life!”

Everyone immediately retorted at this shameless response, then calmed down and thought about it. Hu Sui is 27, how could be Lu Yunzhen’s son?

His username was a line from a poem and a lot of people used it, plus his profile picture is just a doodle on a cloud. Maybe one of Hu Sui’s seniors liked the picture and took it for himself.

He kept on making a fuss in the group chat. “Hurry up and call me daddy!”

Everyone immediately shoved him. “Don’t touch our star!”

Now that he’s successfully turned the whole thing into a joke, Lu Yunzhen went along and laughed a little bit. It was only He Mengmeng that knew too much to let things gloss over.

He gave her a call.

He Mengmeng was dying from the wait and immediately launched a barrage of questions, asking him how did he go from seeing the star to being a dad? Did he drug him?

Lu Yunzhen explained. “He’s just making a joke. I’m not really his senior, but we are relatives. It’s just that I’m technically from a different generation than him…”

He Mengmeng let out a breath. “That almost scared me to death… Xuedi, are you close to him? Could you give me a few exclusive photos and a signature?”

“Let me go check.” Lu Yunzhen walked out of the bedroom only to see a massive white fox lying belly up on the carpet with 9 fluffy tails spread open. He occasionally scratched at his belly with is claws and the posture was terrible.

He can’t take a photo of that.

Lu Yunzhen was quiet for a moment and said with difficulty. “Xuejie, he’s still sleeping, let me get you that signature first.”

He Mengmeng screamed. “Xuedi, you’re staying with him?!”

Lu Yunzhen’s eardrums were about to burst. “Just temporarily.”

He told her about the house fire, and asked her to keep quiet in exchange for 5 signed photos along with a promise to treat her to a meal after he’s done moving.

He Mengmeng happily agreed.

Hu Sui shook his ears and got up. While da shixiong was out getting breakfast he ran straight into Shizun’s embrace and asked to be petted while wagging his tails.

Lu Yunzhen had no defences against fluff and petted him for ages, then asked for photos and signatures.

“Shizun’s friend is my friend. This is nothing, don’t worry about it.” Hu Sui was very happy from all the pets. He transformed and used Lu Yunzhen’s phone to take a few sleepy, messy photos in bed and sent the cute photos to He Mengmeng. He also added a voice message. “What do you want with the signature? Should I write ‘for the cutest Mengmeng’? I’ll give it to you directly the next time you come to Shizun’s place for dinner.”

He Mengmeng was cheerfully doing her makeup when the photo popped up and her lipstick went straight across her cheek… She shakily brought up her phone, held her warming nose, and took several tries before being able to send an ecstatic expression.

She didn’t understand why her fave was calling Lu xuedi Shizun.

But! Lu xuedi invited her for dinner, and her fave was there, so if you round up then she’s eating dinner with her fave! And they can have a picture together! And shake hands!

He Mengmeng was in a daze for a long while before she retrieved the calm of a strong woman. She glanced at the fan group. She’s always had money, but as the heiress she didn’t have a lot of free time and couldn’t participate in a lot of fan events. Without being able to reach the highest echelons of the fandom she could only drool as others posted their photos with Hu Sui. Not to mention the occasionally sarcastic “Too bad you didn’t have time to go, Mengmeng.”

And now….

Hahaha! You little fairies! Get jelly!

She’s got golden legs to hug! She’s now the big boss who’s reach the peak of chasing her star! She’s going to suck up to Lu xuedi and take dozens of photos with Hu Sui! And she’s going to post every dish, every bite into the group chat and brag a hundred times!

She’s so happy that she met Lu xuedi in this life!

After Lu Yunzhen washed up, Mo Changkong was back with a lot of breakfast. He looked at the fur on the carpet and Hu Sui doing guilty airplane ears and realized he was seducing Shizun with his original form again.

Hu Sui didn’t learn lessons from being beaten up.

Mo Changkong took a deep breath. He knew that Hu Sui had always looked at Shizun like a father and that his feelings ran deep. Since he decided to turn a new leaf, he should relax, be more tolerant, and be better to his shidi. At the very least he shouldn’t pick fights when he’s being spoiled in his fox form, in case Shizun found it troublesome.

Hu Sui saw that shixiong wasn’t trying to beat him up and let go of the breath he was holding. It looked like his begging worked. He waited til everyone was full and took out the rental contract his manager prepared for signature.

The contract was long and complicated.

Lu Yunzhen took a quick glance though it and got even happier when he saw the house was in Yuegang district. That was in the suburbs, but there’s 2 subway lines that run through it. It was convenient to go to school and downtown, the area is very good.

The 500 rent is a massive friend discount! It doesn’t matter if the house is super run down, he’s handy and can clean it up!

He happily signed.

“You can’t go back on this, Shizun.” Hu Sui put away the contract with a big smile, dropped the mysterious phrase, and then had his manager bring the car around to take them to the house.

As the car entered the district the neighbourhoods looked more and more extravagant.

When they got to the destinate Lu Yunzhen was dumbfounded.

This really an old house…

As if! Of course a 200 year old siheyuan style house is old! It’s a house that’s got dark brick, old trees, a massive courtyard, over a dozen rooms, over 500 square meters, a central location, a price worth hundreds of millions, and oldness!

He hesitated. “Has there been a mistake”?

“No.” Said Hu Sui with a smile.

He pushed open the heavy wooden doors, showing the dark stone pathway with carved decorations for good fortune. The ginkos were several hundred years old and covered the ground in golden leaves, multi coloured carp happily swam in the lotus pond, and the house was fully renovated. It had all the modern amenities while keeping the historical facade.

How beautiful…

Lu Yunzhen couldn’t stop staring.

“We were tight on time and haven’t cleaned up yet.” Hu Sui frowned while looking around. “I’ll have my manager get a cleaning team in and sort the house out. Shizun, see what you’re missing and I’ll add it.”

Mo Changkong was very satisfied. “A-Sui finally did something proper. You’re competent.”

It was rare for Hu Sui to get a compliment from him and he couldn’t help but preen. “I’m a big fox now, you can’t look at me the way you used to anymore!”

“Wait! Is-is this a house that be rented for 500 a month? No, this is too much.” Lu Yunzhen finally came around and tried to stop it. “Didn’t you say that there’s a problem with my fate and I can’t stay in a nice house?”

Hu Sui huffed. “This is a run down house that I bought a hundred years ago for 100k. It’s very cheap. All I did was renovate it a bit so it’s liveable. It’s not my fault that real estate prices went up afterwards! Don’t worry Shizun, I asked mistress Jinling to look at it. This counts as a run down house still, there’s no problem!”

Real estate prices are dictated by humans and not by the heavens. As long as he doesn’t sell the old house it’ll always count as being only worth 100k.

Lu Yunzhen had paid the rent and it was perfectly reasonable for him to live there.

They were jumping through one of heaven’s loopholes in broad daylight.

Over the years, Hu Sui had bought up a lot of old properties in various places and fixed them up while waiting for Shizun. Then real estate prices went through the roof and his net worth shot up by pure accident. Not to mention there were several government buyouts, making him one of the greatest real estate moguls in the real estate world. The only issue was that he couldn’t go too far and he couldn’t find any loopholes to donate the money on Shizun’s behalf.

Lu Yunzhen was still nervous. “It’s too much.”

Even though the two of them said he’s their Shizun… teachers don’t look after their disciples because they’re hoping to get things in return. This makes him feel very guilty.

“It’s nothing.” Hu Sui took back his casual smile and became serious. “Shizun, I’m beggin gyou to stay here. This isn’t even worth 1 in 10,000 of what you’ve done for me…”

Seeing his serious expression, Lu Yunzhen realized that if he didn’t agree his little disciple was probably going to kneel at him… He thought it over and decided that it’s not worth it. It’s just renting a house after all, he should agree to stay.

Seeing Lu Yunzhen, Hu Sui let out a whoop of happiness. He took an old black stone tablet, rubbed it with great care, and hung it by the front door.

Mo Changkong walked out to look, reached out to carefully straighten the tablet. After he checked that it was all correct, he also rubbed it.

The stone tablet had “Wujian peak” carved on it.

The ancient writing form has long been lost.

But, Lu Yunzhen understood it in a glance, each character as familiar to him as his own bone and blood.

He lightly traced the strokes on the tablet. He could almost see the blurry silhouettes of 3 young men, almost hear the happy chatter, smell the peach blossoms, see the flora and fauna, the passing of the seasons…

There was a young man in black who would casually lean against him with a cheeky grin and call out with a little disrespect, “Shizun.”

The word was always a little blurry coming out of his mouth, and carried with it the sensation of a blushing face and a thumping heart.

In his mind, he could also see the young man diligently practicing his sword forms, the coquettish fox. It was all blurry and he couldn’t make out their faces… The memories that were sealed with countless reincarnations were about to burst, and his heart was madly sending him a sense of happiness and responsibility…

This is Wujian peak.

He is the Shizun.

Lu Yunzhen really liked the ginkgo tree in the yard. He walked around twice and picked a room with floor to ceiling windows that faced the falling leaves. The room also had an ensuite bathroom and great natural lighting.

He happily put the crippled little bear by the bedside.

Mo Changkong knew that he couldn’t sleep by Shizun anymore and just barely settled for the room next door. Hu Sui didn’t care to fight with his shixiong over it and took the slightly further room while feeling mistreated.

Lu Yunzhen also picked out a dark room for Jin Yunu. It was a little small but had all the amenities. He closed the windows and doors tightly and took out the human skin to hang. Then put on some incense and had Mo Changkong set up an array to help him heal.

The front hall became the study and the activities center.

Mo Changkong had always been very guilty about hurting Shizun and destroying Wujian peak. He spoke of it rarely, but occasionally he would let some pained emotion slip out and it hurt Lu Yunzhen’s heart immensely every time.

If the disciple did something wrong , then it’s up to the Shizun to forgive him!

Lu Yunzhen decided to make good money, pay back the crimes well, and restore Wujian peak to its former glory as soon as possible. He wanted to undo the knot in Mo Changkong’s heart and live happily together.

He tried to phone master Wuming, wanting to know how he can pick up more jobs. But the man seems to have gone into seclusion and the phone calls didn’t go through.

Hu Sui was a demon and rarely dealt with the cultivation sects, not to mention he never lacked money and never cared about that kind of information. The methods he knew are all several centuries out of date and useless.

Lu Yunzhen opened his laptop but couldn’t find much on the internet either. He decided to start posting ads on a bunch of free commerce boards.

[To exorcise evil and capture demons, come find Wujian peak. Reasonable prices.]

The posts were immediately buried under mountains of ads for premature ejaculation, sexy gambling, pet sales, sugar mommies looking for babies, and so on…

Well, if he posts enough, someone’ll see it eventually, right?

Introduction ☆

Hello Tumblr! My name is Morten, I am a 21 year old guy from Denmark. As a twitter refugee, I have no clue what I'm going to post on Tumblr for now, but stick around if you like (⁠人⁠ ⁠•͈⁠ᴗ⁠•͈⁠)

I guess I should talk about what kind of guy I am... Well put into simple terms, I'm a guy who adores the wonders of graphic design, which is also my eventual goal of a job. Currently I'm taking my higher exam, so I can attend university next summer. Other than that I'm your average movie n' music enjoyer, but I will talk about that a bit later. I'm also a gamer (insert cool sunglasses emoji here), where some of my favorite games include; Cult of the Lamb, Stanley Parable, Overwatch 2, Portal, Prose & Codes and wordle... I love watching movies (& tv-series, but I'll get back to that in a sec!), so much so I actually have a letterboxd you should check out...*wink*... If you're genuinely curious about what my favourite movies are, check out this list!

Now with tv-series, I struggle using Serialized, I tried but it doesn't seem like a great fit for me. Therefore, let me list some of my favorite tv-shows instead.

Put "📓" or some other version of a book emoji into my inbox and I'll explain the plot of a fanfiction that I haven't written but daydream about.

ok right the ever so brainrotting sharingan cult arc of my AU. im gonna try to keep this short because i could rant about it for ages and nobody cares ok.

essentially, Ko, who is ofc a spy, gives information to this cult of weirdo people who want the sharingan, at best the mangekyou, at very very best the sweet rinnegan version.s he tells them there are 3 uchiha grown up alive in the village, one has no eyes, one has the mangekyou and one is the sweet rinnegan boy. what these dudes to with that information is no concert to her.

so they decide: how can we get these adults to come fight us? thats right, we attack their children. and so 3 attacks happen at the same time. ren and takeshi uchiha (sasukes twin boys, both 2 1/2) get attacked in a forest (in which tehy shouldnt have been, but takeshi was adventurous and ren followed). takeshi gets injured greatly, but sasuke swoops in to save his sons(and kill the person responsible). (@queen-tabris) shisui (about 4) gets attackedw hile in the uchiha clan house while his mother is having a nap with his sister (about 2) which draw itachi out, and tho itachi has no eyes he like gets rid of the guy pretty much instantly (@uchiharomance). lastly there is obito, kakashis son, who is alone at home because his father is working and his mother is on mission and his sister is in school. he is 5. he has no way to defend himself until naruto comes in and whoosh saves him.

naruto brings obito to kakashi. there they all meet (Sasuke is there and itachi is there, all talk about what happened.) they realise that the only common denominator is that they are uchiha born children. tho its strange to them how intruders could even make it intot he village (hello ko). kakashi calls saya (anbu fox) and tells her to go out and get sayuri from her mission RIGHT AWAY.

unfortunately sayuri is already by then in deep shit, being completely surrounded by wayy to many enemies for her to handle alone.. so when saya finds her she is locked up somewhere and dying. Saya sends pakkun (Who is with her) and kakashi comes (tho tenzo says its better if he wasnt gonna go in case something is very wrong). either way kakashi is hokage and he does not care so he goes. when they arrive tenzo tells him that it would be good to keep one person alive to question them and kakashi is like yea yea

but then he throws like one look at sayuri and she is dying for real and he kind of forgets about that?? well sayuri uses her last strength to blink away from her captors and into kakahis arms and he scolds her that he told her not to use the mangekyou anymore because she could go blind. she cant even say anything in reply she just passes out. ANYWAY he kills them all. of course

at home its like security is doubled and sayuri is in the hospital for a long long time after that. it does not seem to pop up again but the issue is, how did they even manage to get into the village in the first place?

...... anyway i think a lot about that fic that i will never write.

these are all going under a read more since most of them ran away from me.

🥞 PANCAKE - what is their comfort breakfast?

Both of them tend to be busy, they don't really have the time for breakfast. Rhowan always wakes up early, with the sun, and she has a few hours to kill before it's safe to wake up Yden, and she'll usually make something with whatever they have available. If they're home, she might make eggs with ham or sausage, sometimes she'll make muffins, but it depends on what they have on hand. Rhowan doesn't think much about food, she might have preferences but to her food is mostly just fuel, especially with how she's been living as the Commander. She likes fish so some days, if she's feeling indulgent, she'll spend a few hours in the morning fishing before making breakfast.

Yden likes pretty much any breakfast, and even at. 26. as a sylvari she's still finding things she's never tasted before. She doesn't usually have time for it, but Rhowan will literally hunt her down and make her eat something every morning. She likes sweet foods especially, so things like muffins, pancakes, and waffles are usually what she would go for as a comfort.

🎂 BIRTHDAY CAKE - when is their birthday? do they like celebrating it?

Rhowan's birthday is August 16! Soon! Or 228 Scion in the gw2 calendar. Yden's birthday is March 26, or 85 Zephyr (it makes Yden an Aries and Rhowan a Leo, and while I don't really care much for horoscopes, it is funny enough to mention. Rhowan also shares her birthday with Madonna so if I ever forget I look up Madonna's birthday and I'll remember).

Rhowan was born at dawn and this isn't very significant to a Norn, but to Yden it is. Yden was born at dusk. They don't really celebrate their birthdays much. It might be written on a calendar or remembered and said to each other, but neither go out of their way to celebrate.

🍩 DONUT - favourite sweet treat?

Rhowan's not big on sweet foods, she likes little candies and small things she can pop in her mouth and suck on for a while. Suckers, small candies, hard caramels. It also has the added effect of shutting her up for a while. Sometimes the Commander is quiet and looking off into the distance thinking hard about something... or maybe she just found a candy.

Yden, on the other hand, loves sweet foods. She thinks chocolate is one of the greatest things ever invented. She especially likes pastries and sweet breads (with chocolate in them) and cakes. There was a chocolate cake she still thinks about, from a little bakery in Lion's Arch, oh some fall probably in 1322. They were visiting some old bookstore and Rhowan bought it for her and she thought it was the best cake she'd eaten, "what I wouldn't give to have one of those again." "That bakery shut down years ago, Yden." "And if I ever see Scarlet I'm killing her a second time for that."

🍟 FRIES - do they order food often? or they prefer to cook their own food?

They don't really go out much, and Rhowan's hobbies are mainly hunting and cooking, so they tend to just eat at home, when they're there.

☕️ HOT BEVERAGE - do they prefer hot or cold drinks? what is their favourite drink?

Yden prefers hot drinks, but she also prefers cold weather and the two go together. She's pretty precise when it comes to making teas and when she has the chance, will like to drink a strong, black tea with honey instead of coffee when she's winding down for the night.

Rhowan doesn't really care if it's cold or hot, she doesn't have much of a preference. She likes to drink strong coffees and it doesn't matter if it has any milk or sugar, she'll drink any coffee. Her other favorite drink is a nice aged whiskey that'll get her drunk fast.

🍓 STRAWBERRY - do they eat their fruit & veg? what is their favourite fruit or vegetable?

Yes they both eat their fruits and veggies. Yden would probably like juicy fruits that are almost too far gone to eat, and she'd like plums based solely on their color and then eat them and think they're okay. Cherries, blackberries, blueberries, all top tier fruits for her. Cherries especially as I don't think they'd have them very often.

Rhowan likes things she can carry around with her so probably apples and other fruits she can take on the road. Berries are something she likes to pick when she finds them while she's out in the woods (and she knows which ones to eat and which will definitely kill you, it was one of her first lessons with her father. On the other hand, Yden also knows which ones will kill you but only because she likes plants that can kill you).

🍰 CAKE SLICE - favourite cake flavour? are they specific about types of cakes?

Yden will eat any cakes but her favorites are chocolate, and Rhowan doesn't have much preference. They're both easy to please here.

🍧 SHAVED ICE - do they still have any objects from their childhood? what significance does it have to them? what would their reaction be if they lost it?

Rhowan I've done already!

As for Yden, I don't think she'd have much from when she was a sapling. Her notebooks she'd keep, and any journals from when she was just starting out in the world. She'd keep them out of sentimentality and, later, as a way to remember herself. She hasn't kept a journal in years now, but the ones she did use, she still has. Rhowan held onto them and kept them safe in her home when Yden was "dead", and when they were on speaking terms later on, Rhowan gave them back to her. Yden still looks at them from time to time.

Kanye West Aims Horrific Body-Shaming Rant At Lizzo – Her Response Is Life Changing

What are the requirements to be a pop star? A good, strong, and alluring voice? Having a unique style? Knowing how to flex your creative prowess? Lizzo has them all, with confidence, even when someone like Kanye West comes after her.

Unfortunately, even though we are living in the 21st century and presumably left the archaic mentalities behind, there are a few who find satisfaction in judging someone based on whether or not they meet the criteria of the “ideal” body type.

As if the task of churning out good work isn’t enough, pop stars have to pay heed to the demoralizing comments of trolls who evaluate talent on the basis of how someone looks. There is this added pressure of fitting everyone’s definition of beauty and perfection. Such negative and crude comments often succeed in crippling the willpower of the most confident out there.

But not Lizzo. The singer-rapper has been the subject of demeaning comments and unwanted suggestions aimed at her for a long time and yet, she has never, not even once, opted to sink to the level of her naysayers. But that so does not mean she has been simply taking in all the hate lying down.

The Latest String of Body-Shaming Comments Against Lizzo

Just a few days, rapper Kanye West, or Ye, who has been embroiled in controversies these past few weeks, decided to target body positivity movements in a chat with Fox news, claiming they are a sham. He started by levelling his comments at Lizzo, who has been a vocal supporter of body positivity and has boldly ditched the notion of fitting into everyone’s opinion of what is perfect.

“When Lizzo loses 10 pounds and announces it, the bots … on Instagram, they attack her losing weight,” Ye said, “because the media wants to put out a perception that being overweight is the new goal when it’s actually unhealthy. It’s demonic.”

Lizzo could have reacted with vitriol and fired back demeaning comments of her own in retaliation because Kanye deserved it for starting the whole drama with his unwanted opinions. But Lizzo did what Lizzo does best — make the trolls realize that their bitter words, meant to hurt her, have no effect whatsoever on the fact that she is acing life.

Recently, during her tour in Toronto, Lizzo, without even taking any names, addressed how she feels like “everybody in America” is talking about her without any logical reason. In a video shared by TMZ, she is seen interacting with her countless fans sitting in the audience and wondering why everyone is spewing their two cents about her while she is busy “minding my fat Black beautiful business.”

Well, that is Lizzo for you, people — elegant, oh, so confident, and letting haters drown in their disappointment of failing to rile her up with their spiteful words. And this is not the first time when the “Good as Hell” singer chose to bask in her success and confidence instead of striving to get back at those who find solace in trying to bring down others.

A few weeks before the Kanye West incident comedian Aries Spears directed body-shaming remarks at Lizzo in an interviewwith The Art of Dialogue. Spears was asked about Lizzo’s music but the comedian made it clear that he can’t “get past the fact that she looks like the s— emoji.”

“She’s got a very pretty face, but she keeps showing her body off. Like, come on, you?” he added.

According to Spears, even though he’s not “the most in shape,” he is handsome as well as “funny, has swagger and confidence, and is at least decent looking” which is what he needs to attract women. But he believes that “a woman that’s built like a plate of mashed potatoes is in trouble.”

His comments about Lizzo were undoubtedly degrading and shared with the intention to insult the “About Damn Time” singer. Yet, Lizzo once again chose the higher road, proving that she is in a high place, not just career-wise but also mentally and emotionally. She simply called out everyone (read: Spears) who is busy criticizing her during MTV Video Music Awards.

“You know what? I’m not going to say nothing. They be like, ‘Lizzo why don’t you clap back? Why don’t you clap back?’ ‘Cause, bitch, I’m winning, hoe!,” Lizzo said. “Big bitch is winning, ho! Best revenge is your paper, bitch!”

Lizzo Shows What It Means to Be Proud of Who You Are

It’s not that Lizzo isn’t bugged or affected by what the world is saying about her. At the end of the day, she is a human with emotions and thoughts that are influenced by the positivity and negativity around her. She has admitted on many occasions how the racist and fat-phobic comments spoken carelessly by others, maybe to get more clicks or spark a controversy, affect her as there is no escaping them.

She recently shared how an online comment last year attacking her appearance and weight really hurt her. But then she decided that instead of being the victim, she will show how to thrive in such a demoralizing atmosphere and still win. She chose to be an example for anyone and everyone experiencing the same and let them find solace in the fact that if she can get through this never-ending swamp of negativity, so can they.

In an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, Lizzo acknowledged that she is aware that her narrow-minded haters treat her as “some sort of punchline” as they simply can’t accept the attributes that define her. Just because she dares to be who she is and declines to stick to others’ definition of what she should be, she has always found herself facing criticism and flak as she sticks to “the way I choose to exist.”

As she knows such people employ “negativity as clout and attention” to make themselves feel good, she keeps her distance from giving them the slightest attention. She even avoids reading about what they are saying or writing about her.

LIzzo Does the Best Clapback and Says Nothing At All

As Lizzo once said, by embracing and believing in herself, she is creating her own beauty standard i.e., be who you are without fretting what others think you should be. And she is confident it will be the only standard one day.

The “Good as Hell” singer knows her own worth and that there is no reason to roll around in the muck with trolls, not expending the energy it takes for response or hate lets her live her own life is a great lesson in realizing that not responding can be the greatest revenge. Lizzo is the living embodiment of the saying that the best revenge isn’t reacting, it is living life like a winner, loving yourself, and letting the critics stew in their self-created hatred.
