TMNT Competition Space

River has climbed on top of a random Raphs Shell to look around better after realizing she couldn't see much from the ground.

"Huh, the brackets shifted. Did another vote happen?"

She zooms in the camera to where the brackets are being displayed.

"I kinda wish I knew who any of those Turtles were," She then notes one name that didn't move up to the next round, "Swanatello? Like the Donnie in the Tutu that passed me? Wonder if he actually noticed. Is he here alone, or is one of his brothers here with him?"

"Uh excuse me?"

She turns to see the Raph staring at her.

"Oh, sorry. Was I being loud? I have a hard time controlling my volume sometimes."

"No, are you lookin' for someone?" He askes her while looking ready to pet them. "'Cause I can help ya."

"Nope! My Brother Shelldon is over there trying to find other Shelldons to race them. We're supposed to be gathering data to send back to our universe, but we were also told to have fun." River leans to his hand giving permission to touch. He does though very carefully, since she's small.

River lets out digital sounding chirps and churrs while her tail sways.

Raph is in the garage working on a motorcycle maintenance while talking to chat, his model is in ripped jeans, a white tank top, fingerless gloves, black boots, and his mask with a set of stars 'stitched' to the tails. His tail is sweeping across the floor behind him as he moves. River is grabbing tools that Raph needs.

Donnie was working on the turtle tank off screen, but he had to go get a missing part he needed. A Super Chat asked for any odd stories from their teens. Raph had to think about how to tell the story.

"Well, a few years back Pops was training us in 'Ninja Hide N' Seek' and part of this training was to take something from one of the guard dogs from this hotel in the city. We didn't think to hard on it at the time, but eventually we learned that the Hotel was owned by his Ex-Fiancee, and this was a small way to get back at her." Raph during this lifts the motorcycle with one hand to check the underside of the engine area. Before gently putting it back on the stand that was holding it up. "So we were sneakin' around her hotel lookin' for this guard dog, and not really hiding like ninja. I think at one point I was just holding a huge lead in front of me to 'hide' myself. We were kinda stupid back then."

River comes over with cleaning rags, and a bottle of crome polish. "There is now alot of people spamming 'Ex-Fiancee' in the chat, I think you peeked their interest!"

Raph sigh, "I figured." He takes the rags and polish to clean and buff the crome, "Yeah, they hit it off in like the late 80s or early 90s, then shortly after Dad proposed things went... well, he doesn't like to talk about that time." Raph looks a bit troubled while saying this, "We know he got away, but it's not really clear bow, or how he ended up a Single Father of Four. We just know he had a hard time adjusting to all these changes at once."

He pauses to take a closer look at a spot on the side of the bike.

"But hey, he did his best, and we came out pretty Okay. If a bit crazy." Raph does a bit of side eye, "Some more unhinged than others."

Right after he says this Donnie comes into frame carrying a huge chunk of metal, an engine block, and pulling a wagon full of random bits of junk.

"Red~ you would not believe the luck I had at the juckyard!" Donnie almost sings as he goes to put thinks down his tail visibly wagging happily, and a loud thunk of him putting the engine down nearby.

"Did you get attacked by Ms. Nubbins again?" Raph asks in amusement at how his brother is emoting.

"No, she had a vet visit today. I found not only what I needed, but also this!" Donnie pulls a box of Wrestling Action Figures that were in pretty good condition.

"Oh my gosh! Is that the first series GhostBear action figure that had to be pulled because the 'claws' were too sharp!?" Raph whisper shouts in excitement.

"The very one! He says with absolute certainty! Plus a number of other figures, but wrestling is more your thing, so I don't know who they all are." Donnie waves his hand in dismissal as Raph grabs the box, and carefully goes through them to check their conditions. "I'll leave you to that, chat be ready to get a bunch of info dumping about wrestlers once he finishes checking them over."

And as Donnie said, a good chuck of the rest of the stream was Raph cleaning up the action figures, talking about who they were, and random facts about them. Meanwhile Donnie continues to work in the background unintentionally showing off more of his strength while moving very heavy objects.

Chat is a mix of people listening to the info dump, and those who are still reeling from the casual moving of an engine block like it was a big microwave, and Raph moving the bike with one hand again to have more room to place the figures down as he talks.

Back with the idea of the Turtles taking part in Reptile Education Programs, but let's toss is the whole 'The Turtles can understand normal turtles/reptiles' idea.

So yes the turtles (even if some are reluctant at first) are helping with handling and talking about whichever reptiles are part of the program. While trying to ignore the critters chatting to focus on what the kids/audience might ask.

Because the turtles don't always want others to know they can understand the turtles/reptiles, because that will lead to endless questions of what they're saying and wanting to have the turtles act as translators.

But the urge to just shout shut up at the turtles/reptiles is very strong at times. Especially if they're in a zoo or aquarium because there's way more creatures chattering about.

Though there are some who don't mind people knowing they can understand the critters, and the novelty kinda wears off, though the organizers remind the kids/audience that it's not polite to badger the turtles about what every critter is 'talking' about.

The main difference with adding the ability to understand normal turtles/reptiles is just the random comment from the turtles about what the non mutant critters are saying or the implications of the silent communication that animals have.

Like the image of Rise Donnie standing in front of a turtle tank when a softshell swims up to him for a minute and suddenly Donnie turns around hissing before vocalizing 'how dare you imply that about my person!'

But Rise Leo would probably be 'chatting' with the turtles, and casually telling the humans about the random stuff they're saying.

With the other turtles, the 80s turtles would be the most casual about this, and don't mind sharing as long as it's not too disturbing, I guess.

The 03 turtles I can at least see Don and Mikey being more open about it, Raph would be a bit less open unless you don't annoy him, Leo probably wouldn't mind, but he purposefully avoids specific turtles, for reasons.

The 12 turtles might be more open to translating, but it depends on the group, and the current mood of the turtle.

With the 14/bay turtles I can really only see Donnie and Mikey being open about it, I figure Raph might get annoyed more easily, and Leo tries to keep it short.

The Rise Turtles would definitely love to chat with and translate, though they will avoid translating things that would not be kid friendly.

The MM Turtles are probably kinda awkward about the whole thing, because the kids at school kept asking them about what the class pets (if any) were saying about them, and little kids have even less of a filter, and ask weirder questions.

The other iterations all just depend on what's going on in universe, thus I can't give many ideas for them, but there is at least one fanfiction out there of Damian Wayne asking Mikey to translate what a normal turtle is saying.

Still the idea of normal turtles trying to attract the Turtles attention for any reason is a bit more funny if the boys reply back with 'we already have a bale please stop asking', 'It would never work out sorry', 'I already have a mate, and don't want another', 'miss/sir I am like 200 times bigger than you!'

River is doing a solo stream, she's playing Animal Crossing New Horizons, and trying to customize the terrain, and place items. She'd recently achieved 3 Stars, and unlocked all the terrain customization options. She's setting up a library area that's probably bigger than it needs to be, but still looks nice.

She has K.K. Robot Synth playing from a few stereos placed around her island.

"Oh! Yeah, this reminds me of something!" She exclaimed as she moves a couple book stacks, "Auntie April came to visit! She's in college for journalism, and is pretty busy with the job she's doing for reference if she ever needs it. I heard some places are weird about having experience before you can start, which doesn't always make sense for some jobs."

She goes to craft and customize a couple items, she notices alot of questions about April coming in.

"Oh, Auntie April isn't related to the guys, she's been friends with them for like a decade or so. Basically she's unofficially adopted, and her parents have basically adopted us as well." River has her villager do a Joy reaction.

"Okay, I kinda got off track. The reason this reminded me of April visiting, was because she was telling me about this bookstore, or was it a library?, anyway she found it near her school. It was called 'The Banned Book Resting Place', it's a place were you can find all of these books that were banned from schools, libraries, and maybe some stores, and it has these labels that tell you why they were banned, when they were banned and in some cases who got it banned!" Her eyes are sparkling as she says this, very happy to be talking about this, her tail is wagging fast. "Not that banning books is a good thing, I just find the idea of this place amazing, plus they have a history section of when and why book banning started."

She takes a pause to move some furniture to see if it's to close to the cliff. Then continues with the info dump.

"Though there are some books in glass cases labeled 'Banned for a Good Reason' that were banned because they were mostly manifestos that were ment to manipulate the Reader. I won't go into to much detail, but those are just displays for educational purposes." She's swaying as she explains this. "I wish I could go there, but April says I might be taken by the tech club to try figuring out how my AI works. So no visit to the Banned Book place for me." She imitates a sighing motion, "Maybe one day I'll get to visit this place."

She turns to read chat. And seems to freeze up a bit.

"WHY ARE YOU ASKING ME IF MY AUNT IS HOT OR SINGLE!?!?!?" She tells as loud as she can. " SHE'S MY AUNT!! PLUS I THINK SHE'S DATING SOMEONE!!!!" River continues to yell because her volume got stuck out of shock. "DAD! I WANT TO TAKE A BREAK! AND I CAN'T LOWER MY VOICE PLEASE HELP!!!!!"

The stream is switched to the technical difficulties image, but Shelldon comes out to use the chat box as target practice to get back at those who freaked out his sister.

I did try to search for a banned book store, and only found a small online business, and a book called The Banned Bookshop of Maggie Banks that looks interesting.

There's a lunch stream with Leo. His model is dressed in a light blue shirt, blue jeans, black/blue boots, his mask and a lab coat with a Dr. NeonBlue nametag. He's on a medical center type set, seated in a blue/black gamer chair. River who has a little 'nurse hat' is organizing medical tool models on the counter. Leo's also eating lunch while answering questions.

"So I got a few questions about the cloat chaser that keeps claiming we're doing a colab." Leo read off, then takes a sip of iced tea. "Well to clear some stuff up, there's some backstory I need to tell." He eats a couple of chips, them repositions to get more comfortable.

"Okay, so years ago Mandarin was really into this small YouTube channel where the kid built Soup can stacking art in his family store, I think he was the only one really watching those videos. One day the kid posts a video about about something attacking the store or maybe it was haunting the store?" Leo tilts his head trying to remember, before continuing, "I can't remember, but either way it turned out to be a hoax for clout of course, and his original channel was taken down as punishment. He tried to build up a few other channels, but they kept getting taken down, so we don't have a good picture of how he runs a channel."

River pops in, "Before you ask, no they don't actually follow him, they just happen to keep finding his channels and his latest attempt to get famous before they get removed!" She places a tray with a few folders down and starts to look them over.

Leo looks at the folder for a second before just shrugging it off, "Either way, we have no plans to work with him, infact I think Dee mentioned this in one of his streams before. They called him a fame chaser or something."

Before he continues a notification goes off, followed by a cartoony Raph surfacing from the bottom of the screen with a sign reading 'Thanks for the 500 Bits BlueSwordWielder'

"BlueSwordWielder? Why does that sound familiar... wait!...Give me a minute!" Leo mutes the mic and makes a phone call. Chat is going nuts, but many want to know what's being said.

Leo's model is seen fidgeting, he gets up and faces away from the camera so no one can see his face, but you can still see his tail wagging, because it's clipping through the lab coat. He suddenly gets very excited and ends the call.

He turns around and excitedly says something while still muted, and attempts to end the stream, but doesn't notice he didn't.

River does notice though.

"Hey guys, Uncle Blues boyfriend is back in town from visiting family, and asked him on a date. So I will be ending this stream properly, and notifying the others to see if someone wants to start a new stream." River gives a bow, and the stream ends, with chat still going nuts, and questions are being tossed around, before they move to the forums/discord.

While it's not really clear if the TMNT can understand other non mutant turtles or reptiles, but what if they could, and watching Nature Shows had a different reaction from them, just because they understand the critters on screen?

Whether it's just they understand the tone, or if they hear it like the turtle on screen complaining about everything around it, is up to personal interpretation.

I heard/read this concept before, but the idea that April/Casey walks up to them watching turtle videos, mentions it looks interesting, then one of them says like:

"The Softshell is telling the Slider on it's back about how another Softshell ate her mate."

"Apparently a turtle on the other side of the pond has been pooping on the good plants on purpose, and now everyone is mad,"

"While reptiles aren't usually monogamous these two are talking about how one of thems mate was coupling with their best friend."

Or on the other end (just a understand tone):

["The Softshell is annoyed at that Slider for taking their food, and it threatening to eat it."

"Is it actually saying that?" April/Casey

"No, but the sounds you probably can't hear imply this to us."]

Donnie is acting as a host for this stream, his model dressed in a purple tuxedo, black shoes, his mask with charms, and a microphone headset.

The main focus of the stream is a race between Shelldon and River, they're racing to get to the post-game post-game of Pokémon Sword and Shield. A.K.A. Beat The Wannabe Royal Idiot's!

"Now on the left side of the screen, my eldest AI child, Shelldon who will be playing Shield. And on the right wide of the screen, my little robot softshell, River who will be playing Sword!" Donnie pauses to let the chat feed scroll by very quickly for a few seconds. "They are competing to see who plays Violet, they both want Miraidon, who will Win?!"

Chat goes wild, with people choosing sides, and predictions are being made.

"Ready?"

"I was built ready!" "Totally!"

"Then... Begin!"

Donnie steps back, and watches Shelldon and River start their games, and gets through the first cutscene in the game.

River chooses Scorbunny and number 404, and Shelldon chooses Sobble and number 001.

The game goes on with the two trash talking, in binary, eachother. Mocking eachothers choice of Pokémon, and which clothes they both take a detour to change into.

Some of the chat keeps trying to decode the binary, but Donnie also keeps stopping them, both chat and his Robo Kids, mid way through.

There are questions about possible cheating, but Donnie assures the chat, that the two don't have access to cheats, or exploits, right when the two both get Shiny Vulpix in the fire gym.

"Did you two cheat!!" He shouts.

"Nope! Just lucky." "Nah Dude. Trust."

"Why do I not believe you two?!"

After a quick pause to check the games for tampering, and finding none, the games continued. With many still questioning things.

They take a break before the tournament to make sure Shelldon and River weren't overworking themselves, and put up a image of Shelldon and River having a tea party that read 'BRB snack time!'

Okay random idea for a TMNT au, but it sounded good in my head.

TMNT: Turning Red-ish

Where the Hamato Clan at one point in the past, they gained the ability to turn into, well different anthropomorphic animals, maybe just to explain the Rat Splinter. But when a generation has a grouping of Turtle Tranformations (usually siblings), it's a sign that the foot clan are making another attempt to take over world, again, by summoning demons known as the Kraang/Krang.

Extra Mystic Abilities May Vary!

The brothers/sisters/siblings don't have to be the same species of Turtle or course.

As for the whole in hiding thing, some of the foot clan decided to just hunt down members of the Hamato Clan so they can actually succeed in their plan.

Let's say the main plot sets off with Splinter and the Turtles not knowing about the transformation thing, but are running from the foot clan (who may have killed their mom, either then, or in the past), and the boys transform for the first time, with Splinter also transforming to keep them safe.

They're cursed by the Foot to be stuck in their animal forms, and at first the Turtles think the forms are because of the Foot, but Splinter tells the Clan Backstory. Now they have to stop the foot, find a cure for the curse, and somehow still keep up with schoolwork remotely. With help from Friend/Sister Figure April, and Raphs teammate/friend Casey.

And if you want a more actual Turning Red type story. Similar backstory to above, but the Foot/Kraang are not really a big deal/thing anymore, so Animal Transformation is not really necessary anymore, but it still happens.

Michelangelo somehow doesn't know about the transformation thing, because when the others transformed for the first time, they were taken "Camping" to learn to control it. But because of timing Mikey can't go Camping, so it goes a little out of control at school.

The story kinda goes from there, April and Casey learning about the transformation thing, dealing with it.

Maybe the Purple Dragons, Baxter Stockman, and Bebop w/ Rocksteady are the main bullies, and cause chaos in the city, and the Turtles try to stop them, with Splinter not being fully into the idea, because their training isn't 'complete' or something. Plus the whole Government (Agent Bishop) might be evil. TCRI might be trying to resurrect the Foot/Kraang.

I don't know where to go from there, but the idea hit me, and I needed to get it out there. I'm just tagging versions that this idea might work with. Not really sure about MM, but maybe.

Donnie and Mikey are streaming together today. Their models are wearing shirts reading 'Smarts and Crafts Team', blue jeans, lab coats, safety glasses, gloves, and boots. They're messing with some science based crafts on the AR set. Shelldon and River sitting on the a box that has the chat box overplayed on it.

"So we got some resin to try out some crafts we found online." Mikey announced while they put some drop cloths on the floor around the table. "But we don't trust something not spilling, and this stuff can get tricky to clean if things go wrong."

"Which is part of why we're using UV resin, that we can just pop in the basking room for a bit to let set." Donnie says, in flat tone that sounds a bit sarcastic, "We're going to start simple, then work up to complicated, though that may go in reverse with us."

Mikey goes off screen to grab some supplies. While Donnie puts the big bottles of resin on the counter.

A cartoony turtle shell slides across the screen to have cartoon Mikey pop out with fan fare, coins tossed around, and Miss. PaintSlatter Donated $30!

Mikey jogs back in to check the notification. "Thank You, Miss. PaintSplatter for the $30. Oh 'Do Shelldon and River have access to mobile games? Hey Dee?"

"Shelldon doesn't play mobile games, but River plays Animal Crossing Pocket Camp. Partially for the app exclusive items you send to New Horizons, partially to befriend Villagers she wants, but can't find in NH." Donnie answers while he sets up some small molds. Then picks up and tests a heat gun.

"Well, we got the resin, pigments, molds, mold release, heat gun, little charms we plan to put into the resin. Are we missing anything?" Mikey askes.

"Spare gloves, paper towels, and the tall trashcan!" River answers back, then smacks the chatbots out of the chat box!

"And proper ventilation, or maskes." Shelldon says with a bit of snark.

"Right, I'll go get the portable ventilation, and trashcan and Mikey, please grab our ventilator masks from the art closet, a box of gloves, and the paper towels." Donnie instructs while they go grab said items.

Shelldon and River are left to entertain chat.

"What did I find that scared Dee? Sorry, we have been sworn to secrecy under threat of having our game libraries memory reset to no save files." River says.

Shelldon nods with his eyes closed. "And I don't have access to the file that was sent because Dee blocked me from getting it."

"FOR GOOD REASON!" Donnie tells from across the room, as he brings in what looked like an air purifier with a long tube sticking out of the back. "And for those who are confused, yes this is the portable ventilation system. Yes, it's a air purifier that I found in the dump, and heavily modified it." He announces with a bit of pride, "While I'm sure I could find something like this on the market, I wanted to build one myself."

Mikey also returns with his stuff, and organized the counter a bit so there's less of a chance of something getting knocked over.

They proceeded to finish set up, and get started on some simple resin experiments. And at least one small spillover and frantic clean up, before shouting 'You saw nothing!' And a 'Clip Recorded and Saved' from both Shelldon and River, who don't mention it right away.

Chat was still begging for the info of what Scared Dee, but after some were knocked out it calmed down, people started giving suggestions on what the guys could do with the resin.

My actual favorite nickname for Donnie is Tello, and I want to have River call him 'Tello Tello', but that can't really happen with most of my story. Unless I can think of another behind the scenes post.

Meanwhile in the TMNT AU Competition Space:

Shelldon and River have split up to record data and take pictures of the different turtles for Dee.

Shelldon has a tag on his plastron that read 'If found I belong to the: VTurtles! Universe' so as to not be confused for a different Shelldon in the Competition. He's zooming around to find other Shelldons to see how different they are.

River also has the tag on her, can't be too careful around here. Though because she doesn't fly like her brother, she's running around dodging some turtles, and stopping to look at some of them talking. They're not sure how to approach anyone.

Though having to move out of the way for a version of their Dad in a Feathery Fluffy Tutu was not something she expected to happen. She sent what little she could record of him to Dee, and a note saying 'Moved to fast, and was too focused on finding a lake to talk to. Maybe a Swan Lake type world?'

She trades info with Shelldon, who points out some places they should check out.

Which Turtles would have a gacha game addiction?

And which games?

Who's spent/would spend the most if they could?

What kinda of genres of books/comics/graphic novels/manga would the turtles be into? Outside of Sci-fi of course.

But also which series would they like?

~~~~~~~

If they could would they enter any major sports events?

BMX, Skateboarding, maybe the Olympics? That would be interesting.

~~~~~~~

How many reptile fans, or people who study reptiles, would want to study them, and ask way to many questions?

And how many endangered species activists would want them to support Turtle Conservation?

Picturing Rise Raph just laying in the sand in a park playground with lots of kids climbing on his shell, while some ask random questions, like what do you eat, how strong are you, and do you make normal turtle sounds?

How many people would try to get ahold of the mutagen/ooze to try making their own mutant turtles?

Or mutant anything? And probably very much regret some of them.

If the Turtles were dropped into our world, how long before someone realizes they are here, and those aren't just highly elaborate costumes?

Mikey is messing around with the AR cooking area again. He's in a full chef uniform, and mixing some batter for some sweet treats. A sign reading 'River is on a mission!' Is propped up on the counter.

Chat has asked for some work stories.

"Okay, as much as I love the Restuarant, customers can be such a mixed bag of crazy!" Mikey says waving his mixing spoon for emphasis. He's pacing around while making sure not to over mix the batter.

"Like the other day I go to take the order of a guy sitting solo. I start the whole 'Welcome to Run of the Mill Restaurant!' Greetings, but instead of 'what can I get you today?' I said 'how are you doing today?' and the guy starts to vent to me!" He lightly shouts in exasperation. He puts the bowl down, and leans on the counter.

"He complains about how he misses the old days when his department had more people, but how the company kept subtly downsizing between people quitting and new hires coming in. Then apparently the higher ups want them to keep up a certain quota of activities while short staffed. And when asking for more time, or people they were told 'We can't give you more hours, and if we give you more people you would need to give them some of your hours instead!'...."

Mikey is staring straight at the camera with a flat kinda annoyed look on his face.

"I just stood there, and once he stopped I go, 'Sir, I may be studying for a degree in psychology and counseling, but this is a restaurant... And Unless you want to tip me very generously, please just tell me your order!'"

Mikey takes a minute to calm down before pouring the batter into some molds, and popping them in the oven.

"I sometimes wonder what kinds of customers are worse?" He says while setting a timer, and taking a seat.

Right as he's about to continue Donnie is heard screaming and dashes through the area like his tail is on fire. Followed by fast moving Roomba with a cackling River on top holding a tablet.

Mikey watches in concerned confusion, when Shelldon floats into frame.

"What's going on with them" Mikey asks pointing out the chaos that just passed.

"Dee made copies of us with cameras to check some place you guys can't fit, and River2 found something that freaked Dad out. So River who is transferring the video feed is chasing him with the tablet." Shelldon replies.

"Is the modified Roomba because she can't run after him fast enough?"

"Totally! This is the most awesome thing to happen in awhile Dude." Shelldon does a couple of flips and spins in joy.

"Huh, we sorry for the interruption chat, but it's not everyday we can scare the heck out of Dee." Mikey says his eyes following the chaos continuing behind the camera with faint screams and laughter being picked up by the camera. An oddly timed donation notification goes off with a graphic of River running with a piggy bank and a banner reading "Thank for the $20 MixMasterChefTurtleFan'

"That's quite the name, but thank you!" Mikey shouts, before checking the timer, and making sure his treats aren't burning because of an error in how he followed the recipe.

The stream continues with a couple stories of coworker shenanigans, and decorating the treats. Donnie and River only slightly forgotten, with many questions from chat on what might be scaring Dee.

In the TMNT AU Competition Space:

Shelldon with River still on his back record the many different turtles dressed up for the current theme. They fly close to where the brackets are posted. Going over which groups have competed and won, and who is just hanging around for the heck of it, and root for other groups.

"This is still very weird. I think I've spotted like five different Donnies selling stuff, and a few wandering unsupervised turtle tots!" River narrates to the camera's microphone.

"And look at that lost and found area!" Shelldon shouts. Pointing out the fairly large group in the Lost and Found.

As they explore, they dodge a few turtles that are either suspended from the ceiling, flying, or were sent flying.

River swings her fan at a couple came close, whether in peace or to hit depends on who come close. Then she spots something.

"Hey is there an observation area over there?" She asks.

"Maybe it's a backstage area?" Shelldon also questioned.

They point the camera towards the wall where there are multiple windows with more groups of turtles watching the chaos.

They make another lap from above before dipping lower.

"Why was I programmed to be feel anxious?" River complained.

"Dad says it's so we react more realistically. Which isn't very cool, but hey better anxious than murderous!" Shelldon says.

River narrows her optics, and slowly raises her fan, "I can be both!" She smacks him in the face, and causes them to fly a bit crazy, because she forgot who's back she's on.

Raph has taken some time to stream today, his model is dressed in a dark pink sleeveless hoodie with bear ears, black sweatpants, teddy bear slippers, and his mask with the tails coming out of the hood. His model is seated in a giant red patched up beanbag chair. River is cuddled into the stuffed animals in the background.

Raph is playing New Pokémon Snap.

"Uncle Red we got a question about the wedding you guys were invited to from a veiwer. And they gave a bunch of gift Subs!" River announces. Followed by a few notifications of subs and re-subs.

Raph pauses the game so he doesn't miss a couple of pokemon ahead.

"Well, I can't tell you who was gettin' married, but the Bride really wants to be married during an Eclipse. It was beautiful! They have solar lights along the aisle, and around the arch where the official stood, because the Bride wanted to finish the vows and kiss during the totality." Raph stops and sighs happily, "And the reception was amazing. The flower toss was probably more crazy than usual because everyone going for it was a wrestler. I think a few refs that were guests treated the whole think like a match, and did a few counts."

River pops up holding a teddy bear, "I know the bouquet was fully destroyed, and the winner of the toss was a bit disappointed, thinking they may be cursed to not get married." She says while moving the bears arms.

"Yeah, the others helped calm them down, but hey it was still fun. Until someone shouted 'Hey Red, when are you and Star getting married?'... Star hit them with her tai-Tail Spin Maneuver!" Raph shouts the last part trying to cover the almost slip of just tail. He looks very flustered, but continues, "Sent the guy flying, and almost hit the cake."

A rainfall of colorful shape bits covers the screen for a second, followed by 'Red_Angel Fan1' dropping down.

"Thanks for the Bits Red_Angel Fan1!" River announced happily.

Raph continues his game, "Let's put the wedding talk on hold for a while, and get back to the taking pictures of cute creatures."

Chat is still going nuts with questions, and emojis, but Raph doesn't answer many more questions unless it about which Pokémon he's trying to find, and how to find them.

So while there are official heights for the Turtles and Splinter, why can no one agree on how tall each version is when standing next to each other?

Also fan headcanon on the heights are very interesting. Like everyone has a different idea of the Turtles growth rates, and how tall they will be when they stop growing.

I remember reading a fan theory/fanfic where the Rise Boys kept growing until they were just about literally world turtles, the world kinda reset around them, and the ATLA came into being because the remaining humans absorbed Mystic energies while on the brothers backs while the world rebuilt itself. I honestly can't remember if I read that on tumblr or somewhere else.

Any way, the idea of some of the turtles being forever stuck at in a range of like 4'9 to 5'5" (150cm to 168cm), while others might reach 6 to 8 feet tall (188cm to 244cm). Meanwhile Rise Raph ends up anywhere from 6'5 to 30feet or taller in height depending on your interpretation. (199cm to 915cm or taller)

On the other end Splinters height is also very weird, most seem shorter then the Turtles, while a couple are equal height or taller than their turtles.

Same with April, and sometimes Casey. Like I was trying to remember how tall the 03 turtles and April were, and all the turtles started the same height 5'2" 157.48cm but:

April 5'5" 168cm

Casey 6'1" 185.92

Splinter 4'10" 124.96

Leo 5'5" 165.1

Raph 5'7" 170.8

Don 5'6" 167.64

Mikey 5'3" 160.02 - 5'4" 162.56

I didn't realize the difference in height by the end of the series.

I went searching for the official heights and not all of them are listed properly. Mutant Mayhem doesn't have their heights listed, or I couldn't find them, and if I spend any more time on this I might just go a bit nuts.
