i never realized how deeply internalized my homophobia was until one of my straight female friends put her arm around me and hugged me and i felt so uncomfortable about it on her behalf. like...growing up a lesbian really makes you feel so alienated from other girls, both mentally and physically. you make a habit out of keeping to yourself don't want them to take it the wrong way if you hug them or tell them they look great, and then even when you meet people who accept you for who you are, you still can't shake that little homophobe in your head who makes everything you do as a lesbian sexual. but i am grateful for finding wonderful friends who are helping me grow out of my shell. those guys rock.

Slap this on every beginner art class
Tumblr media
*In general- Some specific software may have reasons to use specific DPI in a pixel canvas, such as text clarity or brush size. But if you know that, you know this. Some tutorials I've been seeing and TikToks popped up on my feed have been confusing for people setting up their DPI settings and canvas settings and I was asked about this. When you set up a canvas and print something the dots per inch (the DPI!) will determine the amount of pixels your canvas has and the clarity your print has. Each printer has a max, inkjet printers may range from (what your software will call) 300 to 720 DPI. Setting your canvas to 600DPI if your printer is 300 max will not better your print. ((for the purpose of simple settings- Getting into line tones and half tones and how printers have like 9kDPI and can have different DPI in the print head axis direction is unimportant to the beginner artist-printer)) An 8.5x11 inch canvas with 600DPI is 5100x6600 pixels This will look good printed on 8.5x11 paper, perhaps even upscaled at small poster size if its very successful! A canvas set to 612x792 pixels at 72DPI is also an 8.5x11 size paper, but it will end up pixelated. If you bump the DPI to 300 but leave the canvas at 612x792 pixels, It will still be unclear. Its only clear at 2x2.5 inches when printed! (Also note that your monitor has its own PPI (pixels per inch!) and if its low, when you zoom out on any screen your art may look pixelated.) So what's the solution? That depends on what you're doing with your art! If you're printing, learn your frame sizes, paper sizes and conversions. Maybe you're only planning for a mini-print, but what if its really good? Will you want to be able to print it as a poster later? 300 DPI at the end product size may not be enough to print it bigger later. I would recommend setting up your canvases in the measurement unit of your paper at 300/600/1200 DPI as your machine is capable of. If your doing digital and have no intentions of printing it depends- If you are having trouble with not reaching the clarity you want and still want to use pixel canvases, you can use a ratio calculator to figure out how much to increase your pixel canvas if you want to keep your canvas height to width aspect ratio. And of course! You don't have to listen yo me at all if your don't want to, If you're satisfied- its not a problem.

i am sorry that you had to go through that. Your dad feels like a kind of revolting person that i am too familiar with.
Rain of vitriol, Incredibly mean words that sting like fire. But its okay! I forgot about your (X). I did not mean that!...
I really hate these kind of people. and i know how scary the future is. how hopeless it can be. and how worse they make it feel when they crush you like this. I cheer for you. We cheer for your. I do not know the extent of your situation, and i am not gonna try to diminish that it will be hard, but you can make it. even if it feels hopeless. even if it feels impossible. i made it out, and i will wait for you too, for as long as it takes.
I wish you the best. i wish better thing, better futures, better family of your own creation with people you trust, i wish for no more vitriol in your life and that you may get to heal, like a bonsai that was kept tiny by cruel hands being put in a bigger vase, to make it grow and become a healthy plant. i wish more love was in your life, and your wanting to go out was done out of want, and not need to survive.
You are a precious being. You are worth the sun.
u have a beautiful heart. thank you anon for always taking the time to be so gentle and receptive with my sorrows... i feel love and care in every word deeply. always do. i think i know who u are, and itd be nice to meet you one day irl, ill give u a big hug. ty for always believing in me . one day i wont feel so hollow.

Itachi: Prince
Sasuke: Prince
Shisui: Prince
Izumi: Princess
Kakashi: Personal Attendant to all the Princes
Rin: Cook (With knowledge of medicinal herbs)
Shizune: Server
Gai: Soldier
Kurenai: Personal Attendant to Izume
Yamato: Gardener
General Head cannons
Kakashi knew what his future looked like when he was young. It’s hard to branch outside of the family job, and he couldn’t complain. To be a personal attendant to the royal family was considered a great honour and it was a far more enjoyable job than some of the others he saw in the castle.
From a young age, his father would show him the ropes. Using small moments of downtime to teach Kakashi just what his job would require of him.
From ensuring there are no missed meetings, lessons, or gatherings to making sure the Royal family member he’s assisting is dressed and properly prepared for everything they have to do.
Such a high-standing job requires education to ensure it is carried out properly, though the education provided isn’t nearly as detailed or extravagant as the royal family.
Still; when he’s not learning from his father Kakashi is studying or playing with his friends.
Rin and Gai are his oldest friends, both born into separate paths but still able to spend more of their time hanging out with Kakashi when the three of them aren't studying.
At the age of ten, Kakashi begins his duties in earnest. His first assignment is as the personal assistant of Prince Obito.
Kakashi and Obito spend a lot of their time together, with Kakashi taking care of all the organizing of Obito’s days and ensuring that he doesn’t miss anything he’s expected to be at.
The duties are rather mundane at the beginning, with Lessons being the main concern and meals being the second biggest job. As Obito gets older he receives more responsibilities and is expected to be present at more meetings, adding more work to Kakashi’s plate. It’s never too much thrown onto the prince, though, so Kakashi can adjust and continue forward without any struggle.
By the time the two of them are eighteen, Obito’s workload has increased an exceptional amount. That’s not the majority of it, though. As the years went by and Kakashi proved to be one of the most organized, well-mannered personal attendants, he was given more responsibilities as well.
First, he’s given the workload of attending to not just Obtio, but Prince Shisui as well. Shisui is about five years younger than Obito and Kakashi, so he doesn’t require the same attention of a personal assistant until he turns ten (when Kakashi and Obtio are fifteen)
Not even three years later, Prince Itachi is added to Kakashi’s increasing workload. By this point, he’s very comfortable in his job and easily able to accommodate the extra workload. Though he does find that Itachi has more lessons than either Obito or Shisui ever did because he excels at his lessons so much that Madara hires more tutors with an increased variety of subjects for Prince Itachi to learn.
At the age of twenty-five, Kakashi is assigned to Prince Sasuke as well. The youngest of the princes’ and somehow just as rambunctious as Prince Obito and Prince Shisui combined. Sasuke is always looking for harder challenges and is never satisfied with his lessons.
While Kakashi attends to the Princes, Kurenai attends to Princess Izumi. Kurenai only ever has the one princess to attend to, a fact which she’s more than happy to giggle about whenever Kakashi’s feeling a little swamped and stretched thin.
Because his job does involve being beside the Princes at almost all times of the day, Kakashi’s dress is a little fancier than most of the other workers in the castle. He’s expected to wear outfits that won’t set him too far apart from the Princes during parties and meals, though obviously, his outfits aren't nearly as fancy. He doesn’t have the gold highlights or the Uchiha family crest on his clothing, and he’s never allowed to wear the red that only Royal Family members wear.
Instead, Kakashi’s clothes, while nice and well kept, are often a deep green that sets him apart from Obito and the other Princes while not being too different from their clothing to make him stand out in a crowd. He also wears the Hatake family symbol on his undershirt, though that’s usually covered by his jacket.
Rin is the castle cook, taking care of all the meals herself. Although she has an interest in medicine her social status doesn’t allow for her to study to be a doctor and her family status has always been as the cooks of the castle. When Rin was only 15 her father was unable to continue his job as the castle cook due to illness, so Rin took all of the things she had learned from him and what little knowledge she had of herbs from all the books she read, and became the castle cook.
Gai’s family has a long history of being Marshal’s for the castle, but as a young boy, Gai proved himself to be a strong and capable soldier and was recruited into the army instead. He spends most of his days out training or on the battlefield, but the few times he is in the village he’ll take some time to aid Rin in the castle kitchens or help Yamato in the castle gardens.
Yamato has no family history. As an orphan taken off of the streets, he was placed under the mentorship of the castle gardener and given the duty of caring for the castle grounds. At the age of 16, the responsibility of Castle gardener became solely his after his mentor died suddenly in his sleep. Yamato spends all day outside caring for the plants and trees, even if it’s raining. He can often be found elbow-deep in the flower garden, and also tends to the vegetable garden that provides many of the greens used in the kitchen.
Kakashi, Gai, and Yamato all have a habit of helping Rin out in the kitchens when they have time off, though Kakashi is the least likely to have that time as his job is very demanding and allows for very few personal days.
When his attention isn’t required for the job, Kakashi can usually be found reading a book. Something that usually gets him into trouble because people assume he’s not listening to what’s going on around him, but he’s always able to respond with exactly what he heard without lifting his eyes from his book.
Obito sometimes makes fun of Kakashi for all of the books he reads. He has even stated that he doesn’t see Itachi reading nearly as much as Kakashi, and he’s the genius of the family.
No matter where he’s going or what he’s doing, Kakashi is guaranteed to have a book somewhere on him. He also has a habit of smooth-talking Obito (or whichever Prince he happens to be with) into going to the small bookshop in the village when they’re outside of the castle.
Obito will almost always avoid the romance section on these trips just to ensure Kakashi can’t go find a new cheesy romance to read, but so how Kakashi always finds a new book for his growing collection.
Kakashi does try to use his own money to buy his books. Still, when he’s out with Obito the Prince will often use his allowance to pay for it because he sort of likes spoiling Kakashi, and the look of surprise on his assistant's face when he puts money down is always priceless.
Obito has a bad habit of spoiling Kakashi. He tries to hide it, but Kakashi’s always there by his side keeping him focused. Sure sometimes it involves waking him up in meetings, but he’d rather that over getting yelled at by Madara for falling asleep (again).
Kakashi also often stood by Obito’s side during lessons when they were growing up and when the tutor wasn’t looking he’d give Obito pointers on anything he struggled with. It helped Obito through a few of the harder lessons.
As for Lesson, Kakashi also picks up a lot more duties when he becomes Prince Sasuke’s assistant, including teaching him to ride his horse and aiding him with his learning. Twice a week Kakashi sits with Sasuke and goes through all of the things he has learned with his tutor and helps him with anything he’s struggling with. It’s an extra duty Madara assigns him to make use of the intelligence that Kakashi displays.
Although he is the personal assistant to all of the Princes, keeping their lives organized and on track, he spends most of his time with Obito.
Many of the parties, meals, gatherings, and meetings require the appearance of all the princes so Kakashi gather them all together into one place to ensure they’re ready and then gets them to where they need to be all at once.
Along with the book he’s currently reading, Kakashi also carries a journal in which he keeps track of all the prince's responsibilities. Every prince has a little picture that he assigns to them so he doesn’t have to write out their name every time he makes a note of something. Shisui is a little crow, Itachi is a stick of dango, Sasuke is a tomato (because he’s always sneaking into the kitchen and asking Rin for a chopped tomato when he’s feeling hungry between meals) and Obito is a little kitty face. Obito rolls his eyes the first time he see’s them and tells Kakashi that his picture should be a sword because he’s a strong fighter.
Kakashi keeps it as a kitty because every time they’re out in the garden Obito feeds the castle cats and pets them.
There’s only one time Kakashi is not allowed to accompany the princes, and that’s if there’s a tactical meeting. This isn’t because Kakashi can’t hear what they’re planning (he’ll hear about it from Obito most of the time anyways) but because he has made comments about the general’s lack of care for their soldiers and somewhat poor leadership abilities.
Those comments often earned him some severe punishment from Madara, who is constantly reminding him that as smart as he is a personal assistant to the princes, not a general.
The ultimate solution was for Kakashi to stand outside the room reading while the meeting was held, and join the Princes when they came back outside. Madara got sick of yelling at him for (rightfully) calling the generals idiots.
Kakashi is very proper and rarely speaks out. Tactical meetings are the only instance of him doing so, and not wanting to lose one of the best personal assistants he could find Madara simply opted to banish him from the room.
Kakashi’s schedule is very busy. Every day is a 12-hour day where he doesn’t eat much or get to do much of anything for himself. Meals are small breaks he gets where all of the Princes are together doing their own thing. Most of the time Kakashi spends these precious free moments in the kitchen with Rin eating a bit of food and catching up on gossip.
Although Rin’s not the biggest fan of gossip she is the best source of it. Everyone has something to say when they’re in the kitchen and she’s the one who gets to hear it all.
She sometimes tries to ask Kakashi about the things he sees when he’s with the Princes, but he’s always tight-lipped. There’s no convincing him to spill anything, not even the smallest morsel of information.
While Kakashi would stand in on Obito’s lessons growing up, he does not do the same for Shisui, Itachi, or Sasuke. As soon as he’s assured that they’re in their lesson safe and sound, he heads to the last location he knows Obito is in to check up on him.
Every moment of his day is carefully planned and 8/12 hours of his day are spent at Obito’s side. As the Oldest of the Princes/princess’, Obito holds the most responsibilities.
He also has a terrible habit of being late to everything without guidance (at least he did as a kid) so Kakashi’s always looking for him to ensure he’s not keeping anyone waiting. Even when he starts to improve and is tardy less often, Kakashi refuses to let up because every time Obito’s late it’s Kakashi who gets into trouble.
KakaObi
Every member of the royal family is expected to marry. Obito knows this and has accepted it since he was a child, but that doesn’t stop him from worrying when King Madara suddenly announces his arranged marriage to someone from another kingdom. There are a lot of things going through his mind, but there’s one thought that keeps blaring over the others.
What is he supposed to do in the bedroom?
Obito is a crown, Prince. His days are planned to the second, leaving him with minimal time to speak with others and form any sort of bond. The exceptions to this rule are of course his siblings and his servants.
He’s certain he’s supposed to be confident. He’s getting married and he has to be the picture-perfect Prince or else he’ll put a bad image on his family, but he can’t help but worry.
What if he’s bad in bed? What if they try to spend their first night together and he doesn’t know what he’s doing at all?
He can’t express any of these fears to his family because they’re just going to ignore him or laugh, but he has one person he can talk to about them. Kakashi.
When the two of them are alone preparing for the day, Obito asks if he can chat with his assistant about something important. Naturally, Kakashi tells him to go ahead, it’s his job to listen.
So Obito tells him. He lays it all out at way too quick a speed and leaves Kakashi sitting there trying to process what he has just said. For a moment Obito thinks Kakashi may say ‘this is not my problem’ and continue as if nothing has happened, but that’s not at all the answer he gets. Instead, Kakashi seems to think for a second before responding “would you like to learn?”
Obito is stunned. He never thought that THIS would be Kakashi’s response to his concerns. He didn’t think anyone would respond to his worries like this. He was certain he was just overreacting, but with the offer on the table now how can he say no?
Kakashi tells him that they’ll deal with this later. Once the day is complete and they have some free time. Obito of course is terrified of what this means. Is Kakahsi going to find someone to teach him? Is he going to be handed books? If he’s handed books he might commit murder and that would be no good because he likes his assistant.
The answer he receives is not at all what he is expecting.
As soon as the day is done and the two of them return to Obito’s room, Kakashi locks the door behind him. He gives Obito one very simple question. Would you like to learn?
Obito doesn’t even think. He says yes with the confidence of a man who is not currently concerned about what is going to happen.
With the green light, Kakashi tells Obito that what happens next has to stay between them. No one else can know because it can cost him his job. Naturally, Obito doesn’t want to lose Kakashi, so he agrees.
As soon as that’s out of the way, Kakashi steps forward and gently cups Obito’s face. His hands are warm and firm against Obito’s cheeks, and with a confidence that Obito is all too familiar with, Kakashi leans in and kisses him.
It’s Obito’s first kiss, and he’s certain there will never be a kiss that’s better than this. His brain almost shortcircuits just feeling Kakashi’s lips against his.
When Kakashi tries to pull away, Obito chases after him. Not satisfied with the duration of the kiss he demands more, and Kakashi is more than happy to let him take it. Even if he is laughing a little when Obito catches his lips in another kiss, he doesn’t pull back.
Obito feels like he’s in heaven, and if Kakashi’s being honest so does he. He’d never admit it but he has wanted to kiss Obito for years. Perhaps because they spend so much time together, but it doesn’t matter. This is like a dream come true for him and no matter if this is for just one night or a week, he knows it will end. He’s going to be a little greedy with the time he has.
Kakashi slowly leads Obito towards the bed, and when the back of Obito’s legs hit the edge and he falls into a sitting position, Kakashi’s more than happy to move forward.
With each step he takes, Kakashi asks for permission. He’s always keeping it open for Obito to say no and put a stop to what’s going on but Obito never does. He’s enjoying every second of this.
With Obito now sitting on the bed, Kakashi moves to the next stage and carefully explains what he’s going to do as he starts to undo Obito’s pants.
Kakashi doesn’t just have sex with Obito. Although the two of them are not a couple (since Obito is arranged to be married and wouldn’t be allowed to be with Kakashi), they still connect on a deeper level than ever before.
Kakashi used to roll his eyes whenever Obito would complain about having to eat a meal he doesn’t like, but now he does whatever he can to provide Rin some aid in the kitchen (himself or someone else) at least once a week so Obito can have one of his favorite meals cooked for him.
Obito finds a love for books, but only if it’s Kakashi reading them to him while they’re relaxing in the castle garden between responsibilities. Something about hearing those stories in Kakashi’s voice just makes him happy.
Obito also picks up a habit of buying new books from the village store whenever he goes out for a walk with his guards. It’s rare for Kakashi to be able to join him since he has duties to attend to the other princes, so Obito takes a moment out of his walk to look through the little store and find a book he hasn't seen in Kakashi’s hands before. It’s always worth the search when he gets back to the castle and presents Kakashi with his choice because Kakashi always gets this surprised expression and Obito can even see a little bit of a blush peeking out from under his mask.
Not Safe For Work Head Canons
Obito’s already excited after the kisses, but his cock is straining against his underwear as he listens to those sweet, careful explanations falling from Kakashi’s mouth. Already feeling a little overwhelmed, he just about blacks out when he hears ‘Blow job’ leave Kakashi’s mouth.
He has read a few books of course, mainly the ones that Kakashi sometimes has in his hand. How the man can read such dirty things in public he’ll never know because he’s already struggling just thinking about those few lines he has read.
The next thing he knows, Kakashi’s mouth is on his cock. Tongue swirling around the head, licking at the slit, and the warmth of his mouth engulfing his cock. It’s the best feeling in the world. Obito can’t help but place his hands on Kakashi’s shoulders and moan, but within seconds Kakashi’s reaching up and moves one of his hands up into his hair.
It’s not long before Obito’s moaning, his legs turning to jelly as Kakashi continues to suck him off. When he’d thought about all of the things he’d have to learn he’d never imagined that he’d have his assistant on his knees sucking him off.
It’s too good to be true and Obito’s certain he’s about to cum.
Just as he’s about to unload in Kakashi’s mouth, Kakashi pulls back and sits back on his legs. Obito’s hand is still in his hair gripping his long silver strands in a white knuckle hold so he can’t move too far, but he doesn’t care. He’s enjoying this and Obito can tell from the stupid smirk on Kakashi’s face.
It takes him a moment to find the strength to speak again, at which point all he asks is ‘what next?’ Because he is far from being done. All this man has had before tonight is his hand to pleasure himself and he’s not going to jerk himself off when he now has other options.
Kakashi is far from done, though. There’s a lot to teach Obito if he wants to be ready for marriage. More than he can fit into one night, but this will have to be a good start. At least with this night, he’ll have some knowledge to go off of.
So Kakashi moves on to the next step. Prep.
Of course, the option is up to Obito. He asks very simply which Obito would rather do, receiving or giving.
Obito doesn’t know what to say but goes with ‘giving’ just to be safe.
In the next scene, he’s treated as too good to be true. Kakashi stands up, undoes his pants, and allows them to pool to the ground while also shoving his boxers down. Then with little care, he kicks them off to the side.
Obito was already feeling overwhelmed by having Kakashi suck him off, but being manhandled into laying down on the bed? He’s done for. He needs to get to the fucking because his cock is impatient and so is he.
That’s alright though because Kakashi doesn’t take long to get there, though he is a little mean and puts on a delicious show for Obito. Procuring a bottle of lube from his jacket pocket, he quickly drops his jacket onto the floor beside his pants and gets to work on preparing himself.
Obito's eyes are glued on those long, slender fingers as they reach back and slip into Kakashi’s hole. He has seen those fingers do so many things,l: hold books, take notes, hold jackets. The list goes on and on. What he never thought he’d get to see them doing is stretching Kakashi’s hole for him.
It’s intoxicating. Obito has never really thought of Kakashi in this particular scenario before but now that he’s living it he can’t imagine anything better.
As soon as Kakashi’s convinced he’s ready, he takes the next step. And oh boy is Obito not ready to have this beauty of a man sitting on his cock. Kakashi has to stop and lean over to cover Obito’s mouth because he starts to groan loudly. A volume that is guaranteed to attract attention if he doesn’t get himself under control.
Of course, that’s easier said than done when his cock is sliding so perfectly into Kakashi’s ass, and almost impossible to manage when Kakashi starts riding him.
It’s not long before Obito’s cumming.
By the time he recovers and opens his eyes, Obito notices that Kakashi’s already off of his lap and getting dressed. Not as if he had taken much off (he kept his top on and only removed what he needed to) but it’s still a little upsetting.
Obtio tries to say something, but Kakashi interrupts him and tells him to get some rest before leaving.
Now alone, Obito finds himself thinking about all that happened. How easily Kakashi had fallen to his knees for him, how he seemed to know just the right rhythm while riding his cock, and even how his hands felt against his chest while he was bracing himself,
Those thoughts stay with Obito the entire night, and when he finally wakes up he can’t wait to see Kakashi again and try and convince him to do a second round.
The problem is, Kakashi seems to be avoiding him. Every time Obito sees him he’s with one of the other princes, and if he’s not he seems to make a run for it as soon as he notices Obito.
This continues for days until The Steward steps in and yells at Kakashi for ignoring his duties. Kakashi gets a harsh talking to, which he’s surprisingly used to even though he’s a top-tier personal assistant, and told to get back to his duties. All of them.
Not one to risk getting yelled at twice, Kakashi stops avoiding Obito but he refuses to speak of anything but his work. Getting Obito organized and the places he needs to be as well as ensuring that the Prince has company at any party.
This isn’t enough for Obito, though. He has had a taste of something great and he’s not willing to drop it. So, the next time the two of them are alone he broaches the subject. Kakashi tries to change to a conversation other than this, but Obito won’t allow it.
So, with a sigh, Kakashi explains that it was just a one-time thing. He helped Obito get a taste of what sex is like and he can take what he learned that night into his marriage.
Obito is not at all satisfied with this answer and makes sure that Kakashi knows it, but Kakashi won’t seem to budge. He’s almost given up hope when he notices that Kakashi’s pants have a little bit of a tent in them. This of course won’t do. Obito can’t send his attendant out into the hallways of the castle with a boner. What would people think?
Naturally, there’s only one solution. Obito crowds into Kakashi’s space and starts whispering some of the most obscene things he can think of. Some of them he has read in books, and some of them he has thought up in the days before while thinking about Kakashi.
Regardless, it works perfectly. Kakashi’s cool attitude is crumbling away and he’s looking desperate.
Obito tells him to drop to his knees and not to disobey an order, and Kakashi does it. Before long Obito’s cock is sliding past those lips once more and he’s in paradise all over again. Kakashi’s early sucks him off and moans when Obito grips his hair and starts pulling.
Obito cums down Kakashi’s throat and decides to see just how pretty of a picture Kakashi makes jerking himself off. The answer? Delicious.
Sneaking away becomes a regular occurrence for the two of them after this. Whenever they have a block of time where neither of them is needed anywhere or a night where Kakashi can hang in his room pretending to work. Whatever it is The two of them will use it, and Obito’s learning more about sex than he ever thought he could.
Kakashi even gets others involved at opportune times so that Obito has more than just him to learn from. He sneaks Rin away from the kitchen for a threesome that ends with Obito happily squished between her and Kakashi.
He even gets Gai and Obito into a room together on the rare occasion that Gai is in the castle, and Obito is seeing stars.
None of it’s as good as his time with Kakashi, though. He’s not sure what it is but it just seems to fit better.
Kakashi’s hands were on his body, that cool smooth voice in his ears. It unwinds him in ways he doesn’t think anyone else could.
He has a particular fondness for watching Kakashi ride him, but he’s also not at all averse to being pinned to a wall and fucked senseless in the middle of an empty hallway (which has happened during parties and is the only reason Obito even returned to the party. Because Kakashi promised to fuck him only if he went back and mingled)
The rest of the princes know these two are fucking and they’re not saying shit. Izumi also has an inkling that the personal attendant has wooed the oldest Prince, but she’s not sticking her nose into it.
Obito learns real quick that Kakashi’s not just giving him blow jobs because he’s ‘expected to’, but that he genuinely enjoys pleasuring his partner. Man watched Kakashi eat Rin out the first time they invited her to join and he still hasn’t recovered. He’s not sure he can please any woman quite like that, but Kakashi’s determined to teach him. After all, he hasn’t met his future spouse so he doesn’t know what he’s going to be getting himself into. Kakashi's just making sure he has as much practice as he can get and he appreciates it.
He especially appreciates getting to watch as Kakashi sucks him off. It’s just such a pretty show, no one can blame him for cumming quickly.
The garden is Obito’s favorite place after he and Kakashi start screwing. He’d never thought that he’d find something fun to do there, but having Kakashi ride him on one of the benches? Sublime.
Even better when Kakashi sweetly talks Yamato into joining one day. Kakashi keeps watch and Obito gets to see the cute no nonsense gardener drop to his knees and suck him off in the middle of the tulip garden.
The best part is Yamato has a lot of hidden places where no one ever seems to find them. Places that Kakashi seems to know by heart, which convinces Obito that Kakashi and Yamato have screwed in the garden before.
He makes it his mission to make sure Kakashi doesn’t just have good memories of Yamato in that garden, and part of that is fucking in every place that they can,
They have also fucked in the tool shed, and Yamato had walked in on them while Kakashi had Obito pinned to the wall and was balls deep inside of him. Obito’s not sure he’s ever going to live that down but Yamato hasn’t said anything about it so he thinks he’s safe (little does he know Yamato will only bug Kakashi about it. He’s not going to tease the crown prince, he likes his job thanks)
The most surprising thing for Obito, though, was just how assertive Kakashi can be. In their public lives, Kakashi follows orders, keeps things organized, and lives a rather quiet life without too many questions. He has his moments of sass or downright disrespect (usually towards the generals) but he’s a tame guy who doesn’t speak out or struggle for power. In the bedroom though? Kakashi’s a whole different person. He’s leading Obito. Setting the pace, picking the mood. He of course asks Obito’s opinion and considers it, but in the confines of a bedroom or hidden place Kakashi is all too happy to decide how they’re doing things and Obito kind of loves it.
Of course, he also loves that Kakashi still bows to him. That he’s still his aid in a way that he will never be for the other princes. He gets unreasonably excited seeing Kakashi drop down to his knees in front of him, even in public. Because he knows this is the side of Kakashi everyone sees, whereas the bedroom side of him is just for Obito and a select few others.
When Obito admitted to Kakashi that he wasn’t sure he’d be good in bed considering his lack of experience, he never expected to be taught and he certainly never expected to have so much fun with it.
Assassination/Coup Attempt
Kings have a plethora of duties, and many of those duties take the king out of the castle. Whether it’s to meet with possible allies or to ride into war, Madara has left the castle many times and entrusted the smooth running of it to his most trusted advisor and his kids (to a certain extent).
Usually, there’s a warning before Madara leaves so that everyone can properly prepare. At least three days before he heads out.
It’s not a lot of time, but during one of his adventures out of the castle Madara doesn’t realize that there’s trouble brewing right at home.
With the knowledge that the king will be leaving shortly, with his personal guards in tow, Madara’s Military advisor and greatest General hatches a plan. One that will end with him taking the throne by force and leaving none of Madara’s heirs alive to challenge him.
He can’t go after Madara, since he knows that’s a battle he will likely lose, but he’s confident he can get rid of the kids with ease and secure the castle and its entire army before Madara’s return, securing him the win and the throne.
Part of a coup involves planning and organizing, and as such word gets out. Whispers at first, but then solid plans. Most of the army is behind their general, ready to help him fight to victory.
There’s only a select few who stand against him and all of them are dealt with long before they can breathe a word of the general's plans for the castle. All but one. Maito Gai.
Playing the long game, Gai throws his support behind the general and makes it seem like he believes this is the best plan he has ever heard. Gai is confident in his fighting abilities, but one thing he has learned from his friendship with Kakashi and interaction with many others is sometimes fighting isn’t the best option.
As soon as he has the chance, Gai sends word to Kakashi. He has to do it in the dead of night, with little to no light to guide his way, and hopes that it will get to the castle in time.
Kakashi gets the letter the next morning, and with only two days left before King Madara is due to leave, he knows he doesn’t have a lot of time. Informing the king though isn’t guaranteed to deal with the problem, since the king really had no reason to believe a low-level soldier and the Personal assistant to the Princes over his General.
Kakashi spends the rest of the day thinking. Still doing his job, but obviously distracted and often gets into trouble for not paying attention to what’s being said to him or what’s going on around him.
With only a day and a half left to deal with this issue, he finally thinks up a plan. With some sweet talking, he convinces Obito to invite the General to dinner the night after Madara leaves. The two of them have never gotten along well and it’s not really a good look for either of them. Obito’s not particularly happy about it, and he’s not convinced Kakashi is telling him everything, but he ultimately agrees because there’s no real harm in doing it, right?
The General gets the invitation that day and thinks it’s brilliant. An easy chance for him to take care of the Princes and princess without having to storm into the castle. All of them were in one little room conveniently waiting for his army to slaughter them. He’s buzzing with excitement at his victory being handed to him on a silver platter.
While the General is busy celebrating his early victory, Kakashi’s planning.
His first stop is Rin. It takes a bit of time to explain the situation to her, but the request he has to make is even more difficult. Rin is a woman who loves medicine and enjoys using herbs in her cooking to help with the Royal family's health. What he’s asking her to do is the direct opposite of all of that and he can see that it hurts her to be agreeing to this, but their options are limited and she wants to protect Obito and other others just as much as Kakashi does. So, she agrees.
Rin collects a lot of herbs, not all of them good for the health. The ones that have more negative effects on health are kept to the side, tested on animals when she has the time, and noted for their ill effects. Some cause stomach problems, some make people violently ill, and some kill.
Rin only has one herb she has found that can Kill, and although it’s not the smartest thing to do she does keep it. Locked away in her bedroom in a small container, dried up and ready for use. She was never really sure why she felt she had to keep it, but now there’s a reason and she’s thankful she did.
From that point on, It’s Kakashi’s job to ensure that everything goes as planned.
The Royal Family sees Madara off a day later and immediately begins preparing themselves for dinner. The usual things to expect in their daily life, except for one small change. Kakashi tells every single one of them to wear a knife somewhere concealed on their body. A place that’s easy and quick to access (he also asks Kurenai to tell Izumi to do the same).
None of the princes know what’s going on, and every single one of them asks Kakashi what the hell he’s going on about. They’ve never carried knives on them to dinner before, but he’s adamant. He will not allow the conversation to end until they agree, and ultimately they all do.
Itachi is the first to realize that something bad is about to happen. It really doesn’t take a genius but he is one and he can see all the signs in the way Kakashi speaks and moves that day. He knows without a doubt that Kakashi would never plan anything to harm them, but if their Personal assistant is this on edge then there is something they need to worry about. Shisui listens to Itachi’s concerns and quickly agrees with him. The two of them use what little free time they have before dinner to make plans with Izumi and Sasuke in case anything does happen.
Naturally, Obito also picks up on the dangerous vibes Kakashi is giving off. He spends the most time with the man and understands him better than any of the others, so it’s clear to him that something is wrong. The problem is, Kakashi won’t tell him.
He keeps asking and Kakashi keeps deflecting his questions, refusing to discuss it in case someone is listening in. The fewer people who know, the less likely the general is to find out they’re onto him before dinner.
Thankfully, the General is a smart but arrogant man. He’s convinced this is going to be an easy win and even if there is a fight he has the soldiers. He doesn’t think for a minute that his life is the one being targeted, or that there’s a soldier in his ranks who will turn on him as soon as the fighting breaks out.
So, with his second command in tow and a good number of soldiers (20), The General heads to dinner with the Royal family.
The soldiers are hidden away, ready to attack when their general gives them the signal and takes out the entire royal family. They’ve also been instructed to take out anyone who may get in their way, no matter who they are.
The dinner starts off as normal. Pleasantries are exchanged, Itachi and the General’s second in Command begin speaking of battle tactics (a special interest of Itachi’s) and Obito and the general sit in their respective seats glaring at each other.
Usually Kakashi would be outside of the room. Not allowed to join in the meal and with no real purpose being there, he’d simply have his own meal elsewhere (usually his room). Today however, Kakashi convinces the server to take the day off sick. With little notice and no one else to take the job, he happily fills in.
So while the general thinks everything is going according to plan, Kakashi enacts his own plan. Allowing the dinner to proceed as normal he serves up the appetisers and listens from the doorway as the group chats. He’s not sure when it is the general plans to strike, but he knows time is limited.
Next he brings out a new round of drinks. A favourite of Obito’s that’s a nice dark colour with a touch of alcohol. Having the perfect drink for a toast, the general decides now is his time to strike.
He gives a speech about new beginning and being rid of a broken pathetic family, and as the princes watch in horror he tips back his glass and downs his drink at the same time as his second in command.
As soon as his drink is done, he sets the glass down and calls out to his soldiers.
The problem is, they don’t arrive.
While he was busy making small talk, Gai had used his position in the ranks to knock out each of the other soldiers one by one without making a sound. There are only three soldiers left standing at the end. Gai and two others that he was able to convince to join the royal family's side.
It’s only those three who enter the room, and their weapons are pointed at the general and his second in command.
Realising that all of his careful planning has been ruined, the general starts demanding answers. Who told? Who ruined everything for him.
No one says a thing, but the answer is given when Obito turns to look at Kakashi. The general seethes with rage at the knowledge of being outsmarted by a servant, and the most disrespectful servant he has ever met to boot.
He draws his knife, hidden in his boot, and lunges towards Kakashi. Before he can strike though, his chest begins to tighten and he finds himself struggling to breath.
With a calmness that sets everyone in the room on edge, Kakashi explains that while the general’s soldiers were spared, someone that high up in the ranks so determined to murder for power couldn’t be. It was too much of a risk.
Everyone sits there watching as the General struggles to breath, grasping at his neck as if it will fix all of his problems. Then, as suddenly as he’d started choking, he stops.
Laying there at Kakashi’s feet he stares up at the ceiling with eyes that are void of life.
Itachi and Shisui stand up to demmand answers, but before they have a chance to speak the second in command attacks. He lunges towards Kakashi, and in the blink of an eye his own knife slices across Kakashi’s face.
Kakashi hits the ground, hands flying up to cover the left side of his face where the second in command has just sliced through his eyes.
Obito see’s red. As soon as Kakashi’s down, Obito’s on his feet with his own knife in hand. The second in command barely see’s him before he’s on top of him, thrusting his knife into the bastards chest.
The second in command is dead after three hits, but Obito keeps going. Keeps stabbing no matter who yells at him to stop. He even pulls free from Shisui when he grabs his arm and tried to wrench him back, continuing his assault against a dead body.
It’s not until Obito’s covered in the other man’s blood and exhausted from his own attack that he stops.
He sits there, staring down at the bastard who had dared to attack Kakashi, and wishes he could do it again. Stab him in the throat, or the eye.
He can’t though. It’s done and there’s no more to do, so Obito turns his attention to Kakashi instead.
Obito and Shisui quickly help Kakashi to his feet and lead him out of the room, leaving Itachi, Sasuke, Isumi, Gai and the two other soldiers to deal with the mess that has been left behind.
Obito’s head is swimming. He hasn’t even begun to process everything that has just happened in the span of five minutes. A coup, his personal assistent being the one to put an end to it, Kakashi’s injury, and Obito himself murdering a person. Stealing the life from their very body, all because they dared to hurt Kakashi.
It’s three days later that Madara returns home and the situation is explained to him. A new general is chosen, gai and the other two soldiers are given homours for their part in stopping the coup, and Kakashi…
Well, when he wakes up a day before Madara’s return he swears Obito to secrecy. Being in the spotlight isn’t his thing and all he wanted to do was ensure the royal family was safe.
Obito doesn’t like it, but he agrees. After all, if Kakashi’s part in the events is found out a lot of things could happen, all of which result in Kakashi no longer being at Obito’s side.
Obito doesn’t like that, and he’s more than willing to thank Kakashi for dealing with the coup when the two of them are alone.
