I hoped this month would have given you some respite, instead it seems it still made things hard. I am sorry your workplace is so hellish. I really wish you could have the tranquility you much needed lately. You are still incredibly strong for going through all of this. I really wish people would compliment you more, because you deserve it. For your art, for your empathy, for the hardship you face. You are not alone, thankfully, and even if not many are heard or seen, they still understand your worries, pains and sorrows.

Thankfully, the flowers are blooming again, and even if some of us have allergies, we can take joy in their light and the sun warmth again. And like them, who spring with life after every winter, we too will one day be full of color and life like them.

been having a hard week, so i wanna talk abt something fun! im gonna put this under a readmore

so the other day, i looked up what fancy Chinese palace architecture looked like to get a better idea on what unnamed lady's boat looks like on the inside and outside.

her "boat" is really more like... think Howl's Moving Castle, but instead of a giant sentient steampunk monster, lady's home is a massive palace floating on top of the ocean with enormous sails. it cannot and would not reasonably exist in the real world. it rejects the concepts of physical reality as much as she does herself. its a labyrinth of a structure

its an extension of her consciousness in a way- so it COULD be argued that it is in fact, sentient. or as sentient as lady's hat is, which is also an extension of her, so.

here are some cool references I found that give me the vibes im looking for- a lot of them are from The Forbidden City (the famous palace complex in Beijing). a couple are 3d renders, etc. lady's palace evolved tremendously over time, both in size and complexity within her time in the underworld, and the general development of technology over centuries

shakes w excitement, this is so cool to me!!!! im no interior designer or architect, but this makes conceptualizing what lady's boat looks like so much cooler and tangible

also, i imagine she has rooms dedicated to REAAAALLY old artifacts from when she was young, kinda like this. they would be carefully placed though, i dont think a whole lot would be broken over from time or the elements since her boat is supernatural

i dont post my art for no reason... itd be nice if it got more engagement

i thought more ppl would think my horror art of me and wife was awesome and cool. i wonder if ppl are under the impression that my creepy art is more "private" in an untouchable sense? like vent art? or is it too weird and uncomfortable in an objective sense?

if that last point is true, im not sure how to build up an audience thats more comfortable w my creepier art
