Give us Elain not taking his nonsense and making him strip for so they can huddle for warmth. Give us flustered Lucien and direct Elain. Give us Elain seeing his scars. Give us Lucien saying Jesminda’s name in a state of delirium, fuelling future conversation. Give us Elain force feeding Lucien water by mouth. Give us Lucien collapsing and passing out on Elain. Give us Elain waking up the next morning wrapped in a blanket.

Then give us a similar conversation that Jeanne had with Domi after they get back, but between Elain and Vassa. Give us Elain realising that she desperately wants Lucien and is concerned she won’t be able to hold herself back from him next time.

Give us the bond finally snapping into place for her that evening.

It was my intention to make him a real bad guy, but then I sketched him up and looked at him, and now I like him. Meh.

“let me help you harry, i can fix this i can fix you” draco went to reach for harry but he pulled away and began shouting

“YOU CANT FIX ME! IM BROKEN! CANT YOU SEE THAT? ALL THESE PEOPLE, they’re dead. they’re dead draco! and it’s all my ffault” his lip began quivering and draco saw through the facade he’d been placing over himself for weeks. draco could finally see the broken boy in front of him. clearly now, more clear than ever. as harry’s eyes overflowed with tears, they made rivers down his cheeks. “ all these people.fred,lavender,remus,tonks, dumbledore, sirius, and snape.” and for a moment he looked fine but he snapped again. horror filling his entire being” collin all he wanted to do was take pictures but now he’s dead! because of me!” harry continued his sobs loudly echoing.”if i had just given myself up to start! like pansy had said. if i was quicker or or or smarter maybe they would still be here!” as draco wrapped an arm around harry he wished he could be more useful. so he did what he could and held the broken boy who fought wars, who thought of what would make everyone happy even if he wasn’t. the boy who was broken beyond and spells repair. and so they sat there in the comfort of each other, not quite enemies, but more of someone to turn to. something neither boy had felt they had in a long time.
