Introducing my current PC’s!!!
Tomie:
———
- Specifically named after Junji Ito’s Tomie because A. I like the name and B. I think every PC has a little Tomie in them. She just has a lot. But without the murder. Yeah.
- Star-sign is pisces.
- Favorite animal; doe.
- Only child; parents died in murder-suicide of which she was a witness.
- Severe survivors guilt.
———
- Tries to act like “normal” people and fails miserably. Frustrated by her social incompetency.
- Struggles with her mental health due to that isolation. Very close with Harper. Almost infatuated with him in a way. Odd.
- Very unaware, or at least that’s how she wants to be. If she sees things others don’t she gives no indication.
- Almost as unpopular as Kylar in school and so they spend a lot of time together. Despite this, she doesn’t really like him. Thinks his obsession is flattering though.
- Her room is as filled as Bailey will allow with stuffed animals. (Whitney’s twin fr 🤞🏻)
- Owns one stuffed bear from her life before the orphanage. Her one prized possession.
- Very fashion oriented, closet is stuffed with clothing.
- Makes most of her money as a model.
- Aspirations to become a professional model or a lawyer. Whichever is easiest.
- Angel motif, not an actual angel.
- Genuinely thinks Avery is a sweetheart.
- Feels as though she’s been forsaken by God.
- Would do almost anything for affection.
- Just wants to be loved.
Anthy:
———
- Named after Anthy Himemiya because I like that name. Heresy to name a character this pale after Anthy but whatever.
- Star-sign is Cancer.
- Favorite animal; bunny.
- Only child; parents died in house fire.
———
- Biggest whore in town. Proud town bicycle. Fucks for free. Enjoys the agency found in willingly giving her body away.
- An it girl. Very popular in school and out.
- Despite her obvious attraction to all things profane, she’s very active in the temple. She’s mostly just curious about the goings on.
- She is not well liked in the Temple. Like, at all. I don’t know why they let her stay to be honest.
- Ivory Wraith apologist. Thinks the tentacle thing is weird but is dtf whenever.
- Doesn’t really like Sydney as a person. Feels like he’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Honestly a bit frightened by him.
- Also doesn’t appreciate how malleable he is.
- Doesn’t like Sirrus either. He’s a weirdo.
- Also struggles with mental health issues (what PC doesn’t tbh) but distrusts Harper. Doesn’t understand how nobody else sees through his bullshit.
- Makes most of her money at the cafe doing gross things for gross amounts of money.
- Weird about anime. Like in the way I imagine Kylar is. A weeaboo if you will. She’s dl with it though, doesn’t want to freak people out.
- Big Wren fan. Has a crush on him and feels strange about it. Doesn’t like that she’s gotten attached, especially to a guy like him.
- Shit at blackjack. Maybe on purpose.

I need to speak on this because it’s happened far too many times and seems to be a recurring pattern with Fusebox.
It’s really shameful and disheartening to see how often Fusebox puts black women characters into couples with people that don’t actually like them, and proceeds to villainize them in the eyes of MC/other characters in the game.
We’ve seen it in S2 with Hope being loyal to Noah then getting disrespected by him when he confessed to MC in the end.
We’ve seen it with Grace in S6, sticking with Ozzy although he’s disrespected her and clearly wasted her time by staying with her when he was pining for MC all along. And even when he does tell her he’s not interested anymore, she does everything in her power to “win him over” instead of allowing her to rightfully look elsewhere for love.
And if you’re going the Jin route in S8, it happens with Luna. Jin doesn’t want her but he sticks around to spare her feelings. She embarrasses herself trying to win him over only to get booted off the show.
Next, they love to turn them into the “mean ones” by getting upset with MC/defending their relationship when romance (often initiated by the one they’re coupled up with) strikes.
Then they’re the enemy and everyone is waiting for them to be voted out of their game.
Yeah, sure, they’re just characters. It’s just a game. But it blows my mind, especially seeing this as a black player, that time and time again they’ve done this with the black women characters in the exact SAME way:
1. Couple with someone that’s not interested
2. argue/be a jerk to MC/refuse to take hints that their love interest doesn’t like them
3. do acrobatics to win said love interest over
4. get heartbroken, kicked off
If you’re going to put black women in your show, is it too much to ask them to be respected? To be deserving of a happy ending too? Reflect on how you’ve been representing black women, Fusebox.
Then do better.

you know, in certain ways I am disappointed by the fact that clothing is no longer as gendered as it used to be—don’t get me wrong, I think this is a great thing, and it definitely is still more gendered than it should be—but it means that people’s perceptions of you now have this additional emphasis on the way that you physically look, which is to say, the unchangeable aspects of your appearance. in the sense that, like, gender is based not on the way you present yourself but on the way you are. and if you don’t physically match to people’s perceptions of what “is” male or female or whatever, then to them you just aren’t.
throughout history, and in some extent today, so much of gender was how you presented yourself and how you performed your gender—which is a problem in itself, of course, but it also kind of gave you the option to “reject” one gender by choosing to present and act as the other, even if it came at a great cost, because people would generally take this outward expression at such face value. in a paradoxical sense, the rigidity of, say, victorian gender expectations made it easier for one to “not achieve,” or even outright reject, their assigned gender, and in that sense, made it easier to transform it. and you can’t do that in the same way anymore, which, as I said, is a double edged sword, but like… I don’t know. it’s a feeling mostly from personal experience, arising from my own historical fantasies as a history-oriented person—a hundred years ago, if i wore men’s clothes as a woman, I’d be told that would undermine my assigned gender and make me “too masculine,” which, you know, would have been the goal. nowadays if I dress entirely masculine I’m just a girl wearing boys’ clothes because people can’t ever see anything else. I don’t know. I guess I’ll just sit here daydreaming about running off in the 18th century to join the british army by “disguising myself as a man” instead of being given one look at a reenactment event and observed with the remark that “the british units tend to have really good female impressions.”

for the lolita fashion ask: 1, 11, 19 💗
Thank you for the asks!! ૮꒰ྀི >⸝⸝⸝< ꒱ྀིა
1: how and when did you first get introduced to the fashion?
I don’t know how I first learned lolita existed- probably through anime tbh- but I remember getting into it through 2 things; I was browsing Pinterest for historical costuming ideas and I kept seeing these Rococo and Victorian dresses, except they were super short for ballgowns which really confused me (I didn’t figure out that they were lolita but I thought they were so pretty) and second- I saw a girl wearing lolita on my college campus! I wore casual jfashion at the time (Liz Lisa, etc) but even though I knew what lolita was it felt super out of reach and like something only girls in Japan could wear. But there she was, in real life! It was a magical moment. I wish I could remember what exactly she was wearing or that I’d gotten a chance to meet her again but she completely changed my life! I put two and two together and realized I could wear these Victorian-esque dresses myself 🥰
11: what's one item you have that you would never sell?
This is tough, I have a lot of things I really love… I think probably my IW Renoir OP though. It’s definitely the dress I wear the most (it layers really well with like half my closet too..) and unlike a lot of other pieces I love I wouldn’t be able to sell it for a lot of money either.
Like, I would never want to sell my usakumya or my Milky Chan JSK but if I was in a bind financially they could be worth a couple hundred dollars each so if I had to it would make the most sense yknow?
I’d never want to sell my parasol either as it was a gift from my mom <3 and I have a couple vintage Gunne Sax pieces I’d never sell because with how popular the brand has gotten I’d never be able to replace them 😅 and I wear my Gunne blouses constantly too…
19: do you remember the first dress you ever saw? do you still like it?
Angelic Pretty’s Pompadour OP! I remember coming across it and not even realizing it was lolita, just thinking ‘huh someone made a version of Mme de Pompadour’s gown but they cut it so short, I wonder why’ haha. I’d love to own this dress! I’m a huge fan of the original painting and I think the color combo and design is so pretty. It would be a really nice convention/fancy tea party piece.

It cracks me up whenever somebody tells me that all my ‘issues’ stem from the fact that I watch horror movies because, officer, I hardly ever actually watch horror movies. If you’re gonna insult me at least do it correctly

A message to the recent & future transgender pick-mes.
If you’re a trans pick-me (no matter where you align with gender) there’s a special place in Hell just for you & I don’t even believe in Hell. Having trauma isn’t excusing your actions of going out of your way to hurt other people actively. It explains that it comes from a place of hurt potentially or you’re just turning into a rage-bait influencer because it makes you money. Either way you come after trans people who don’t do being trans exactly like you so they “aren’t really trans.” You get a taste of the right-wing rage-bait money pot & you wanna keep going because money & maybe some weird part of you thinks this will save you from transphobic attacks? Honey, we’re all just fags to them no matter how we look or act. Even if you’re a cis person not following the norm or unaware of the politics of it all, you’re still just a faggot to them who they will eventually want to snuff out. I’m saying this as a tranny fag just to be clear! You can’t be playing these exclusion games & thinking it’s going to make you powerful! Even Milo Yionnapolis or whatever that fucker’s name was got dropped by the Trump Administration! They do not like us & they never will like us! Democrat, republican, whatever it is; if it’s capitalist, it doesn’t like us! No matter how much you lick those boots, it’ll do you no good. You’re a faggot/tranny just like me & the rest of us, that’s how these suits see it & always will see it no matter how much you try to prove “I’m one of the good ones.” They aren’t going to save you, we’re all on the chopping block to them no matter what our politics are. These government folks don’t see any of us as “one of the good ones.” Get over yourself, grow the fuck up, and stand side-by-side with your transsexual siblings! All we have is each other, these cis people aren’t shit! 💜 Down with cis! 💜
