The way Jack speaks of Nico with the same admiration he holds for his brother 🥲 that’s love baby
!! it's just. So Sweet. i wish we could get a real candid interview, article, something about them specifically like the media makes so much of the 1-2 punch, pillars of the franchise thing but it's weirdly underreported? and maybe that's just because they hate to see hot bitches from new jersey win— but it would be really cool to see. especially when you piece together old and new interviews where they talk about each other it's such an intriguing dynamic it's absolutely wild that they've never been put in front of a camera together

I don’t really give a shit about James Somerton, but apparently he claimed that he Did A Plagiarism because of a head injury he had as a kid + ADHD, so he would just copy and paste paragraphs and then forget to rewrite them.
And as someone who was ALSO hospitalized for a head injury as a child, and ALSO has ADHD (with one of my primary symptoms being memory loss), I feel uniquely qualified to fight him on this because I have never done a plagiarism.

This night, I say the name of the knife that wounds me still:
your hand almost gentle on the hilt; desire sliding neat
between my ribs, skin bruising soft as the rot-sweet peach.
I am reaching now for the pit of my heart, I am praying to you again.
I surrender my grieving made offering, I hail the winter
giving graceless way to spring—beg forgiveness by that awful
reverence, which I offer both what I love and what I fear.
Ode to Goncharov (1973), Yves Olade

on the off chance there’s any parents who follow me who have kids moving back home/ college age kids who have graduated or are coming back from the summer, please attempt to be accommodating with the stuff that they are bringing to your house. yes it is your house, but once upon a time we might have had a room or part of a room there. we don’t like seeing our stuff everywhere either, we’re trying to build our own lives and being boxed up every 8 months or so does not help that. so if you could at least perhaps move around some things so that your kids have one corner or one small space to put there stuff in it would be appreciated, unless you want to look at a mattress topper in your living room for three months. and also, if you’ve asked your kids to go through the things they still have at your house, don’t make them keep things they don’t want. if you want it should be your responsibility not theirs

Me: yeah no i can cook gutwrenching Batman headcanons
Gotham TV: baby Bruce curls besides Alfred's hospital bed after Alfred gets stabbed in the heart, never leaves his side for one moment to the point that Gordon has to bring him food, he's red faced and hicking up all the time, whispers to Gordon "i can't lose him; he's all i have," and after Alfred comes back to life he brings books from Wayne Manor and softly reads horror bedtime stories to Alfred during the day until Alfred eases down and falls asleep
Me: god nevermind
