a/n: this was my very first request! i loved writing this so keep requesting more!

"oh my god you were soo cute! i could just squish your little cheeks!"

you're currently sitting on your bed, looking through a photobook of heeseung's baby and childhood photos. cooing over how cute and squishy his cheeks were.

"babe stopp!" he snatched the photobook and slammed it shut.

"noo but i wasn't done looking at the photos!"

"too late! should've taken a picture of them," he shrugs.

"well it's a good thing i did!" you grab your phone and open the pictures you got, putting it up next to heeseung's face.

"see you were so cute! what happened to you?" you compared the baby photo to heeseung now, frowning.

"what?! take that back!" he starts tickling you.

"okay! okay! fine! you're still very cute!" you say laughing.

"good!" he finally stops tickling you.

"see you look the exact same!" you grab his cheeks and squish them like they were in the photo.

"yah! stop it!" he starts tickling you again.

"baby you've been looking at these photos for an hour and a half noww," jay complains.

"but look at how cute you were! i can't stop!"

"well you're gonna have to stop," he grabs your phone to turn it off but before he could you ran away. off of the couch and around the kitchen island.

"yah! come here right now!" he tries to catch you but you run even faster.

"i'll stop under onee condition," you smirk as an idea comes up in your mind.

"okayy? and what is that one condition?" jay asks suspiciously.

"you need to pose like this photo!" you show your favourite baby photo of him.

"what? never!"

"pleasee! i promise i'll stop looking ag the baby photos, if you do this one thing!" you plead.

"fine," jay sighs and does the flower pose like the photo.

"yes!" you quickly snap a photo of him doing the pose.

"good! now stop looking at those photos!"

"i will i will!"

three hours later. all you been doing is staring at the photo you just took of jay.

you were busy looking through baby and childhood photos of jake. until you felt arms snake around your waist and a head on your shoulder.

"watcha doing?"

"looking at this cute little baby. aw this one is my favourite," you smile at the photos.

"yahh stop looking at thesee," he closes the book and tosses it to the side. "why look at these when you have the real thing right here," he puts his hands under his chin as he smiles.

"but it's not as good as these photoss," you complain.

"yah! i'm soo much hotter and better than before come on, don't you agree?" jake whines at your remarks.

"haha just kidding my baby," you then put your arms around his waist pulling him closer into a hug.

"you better be."

"wahh you were so cutee," you smile as you go through baby sunghoon photos sunoo sent you.

"yah! where did you get these?" he grabs your phone out of your hand to see the photo up close.

"that's none of your business," you laugh trying to get the phone back.

"oh i'm deleting this!"

"wait no! please! i love the photo!" you jump up when he raises the phone higher.

"and delete! there the photo is gone now," he hands you back the phone.

"ugh! i can't believe you!" you turn around to fake sulk.

"baby?" you don't respond.

"baby i'm sorry. i didn't think it was that big of a deal to you," still no response, you're just on your phone. "yah! are you texting sunoo?"

"uh noo?"

"hey! you so are!"

"well you just deleted my favourite photo of you! so now i gotta get it back from sunoo!"

"he sent them to you?"

"yes!"

"oh i'm gonna slap him across the fa- wait. did you say favourite photo of me?" you nod, giggling. "yah!"

he then tackles you to the bed, tickling you.

"oh my god i can't! you were so cute as a baby!" flipping through the photobook, you squeal at how cute sunoo was.

"i know right! like my cheeks were so squishable!" he too, exclaims how he looked as a baby.

"ahh i can't! i'm gonna die of cuteness!" you pretend to faint.

"and my cheeks still are squishable! see?" he pinches his cheeks as you get up to do the same.

"and you're still the cutest ever! ugh i love you so much," you smile at him.

"you were also so cute as a baby!" he shows you a baby photo of yourself.

"yeah but not as cute as you though! i'm lowkey jealous."

"yeah i know," sunoo rolls his eyes, sassily pretending to flip his hair.

"aww oh my godd! you were so cuteee!" you flip through the photobook rapidly as the adrenaline flows through your body.

"yahh didn't i tell you to stop looking at those? i'm right here!" jungwon waves his hands in front of your face, getting your attention.

"wait you literally haven't changed! you look the same!" you hold the photo up to his face. you then grab his cheeks and squish them like how they were in the photo.

"there! i can't! cuteness overload!" you clap your hands at how similar it is.

"stopp!" he whines and shoos your hands away.

"wait i need a picture of this. could you pose like this pleaseee?"

"no. never in a million years."

"pleasee jungwon pleasee," you plead.

"no. thats my final answer."

"oh okay that's fine," you turn your back and cross your arms, pretending to sulk. but jungwon buys it as real sulking.

"wait babyy i'm sorryy," he grabs your chin to turn your head. revealing a pout on your lips.

"love i'm sorry. please talk to me," you don't say a word. instead you just sit and pout.

"fine i'll take the photo," jungwom finally sighs, giving in to your demand.

"yes!" you celebrate as he poses and you snap the photo.

you were busy scrolling through old baby photos of niki when you came across your all time favourite one.

you then ran to the living room where he was on the couch and shoved your phone right in front of his face, showing his the photo.

"look! weren't you the literal cutest baby ever! like i could just squish your cheeks oh my god!" you laughed.

"yah! where did you get that photo? i told everyone to delete it!" niki asks shocked.

"ha your mom sent it to me!" you laugh still staring at the phone.

"oh yeah?"

"yup!"

"well guess who sent this one to me?" you look up at him confused as he puts his phone up, revealing an old baby photo of you.

"yah! what the hell?! my mom sent this to you?" you grab his phone to get a better look at the picture.

"haha yes she did! and i made it my wallpaper!" niki turns his phone on and off to show his lockscreen.

"oh my god! that's so embarrassing!"

★ wc 1.3k warnings none note @soobnny u inspired me to write this while i was on the plane i’m actually insane my brain is rotting w spidey bf jake (proofread but idk if there r any mistakes rip sry pookies)

Not even your blankets could stave off the whisper of cold wind that followed Jake in through the window, a chill that was just as quickly chased away by his embrace. He slid in beneath your comforter, a drawn out sigh leaving his lips, one of which you learned as you turned around, was split and crusted with blood. Your hand found his cheek in the darkness, the other reaching out blindly for the light switch.

“No, don’t,” he grumbled halfheartedly, pressing his forehead between your shoulder blades in a lazy attempt to hide the lasting damage of his latest fight.

Your fingers closed the switch and you turned your bedside lamp on despite his protests, propping yourself up on your elbow to better survey his injuries. Jake had made a terrible habit of assuming that slipping into your bed and just having you in his arms would solve all his problems, emotional and physical. As much as you despised the fact, that wasn’t true.

“Let me clean you up?”

You asked softly, brushing his bangs away from his face lazily, wincing as you felt his ordinarily soft hair crusted with something— blood, or dirt, you weren’t sure. In times like this, it felt like there wasn’t much you could offer Jake, and an inescapable feeling of helplessness swelled and formed a lump in your throat. He’d reassured you time and time again that your company was enough, but you figured the least you could do was clean him up to the best of your ability.

“No, let’s just go to sleep, I’ll do it tomorrow,” Jake mumbled, his eyebrows furrowed cutely and his words muffled by the soft cotton of your pillow.

You rolled your eyes, and gathered the motivation to slip out of bed— Jake let you go without any coherent protest, and you padded into the bathroom. The routine you’d adopted was methodical and you had to admit there was something therapeutic about it— saline solution, a glass of warm water, a flannel and the Hello Kitty bandaids Jake claimed to hate but never stopped you from putting on the lesser of his injuries. His arms wound around your waist as you perched on the edge of the bed, pulling you close enough that he could rest his cheek against your thigh.

“I’ll sleep easy knowing I’ve helped you, even a little,” you hummed quietly, running your hand through his hair, trying not to tug when your fingers caught on whatever it was that had gotten stuck, presumably during his fight.

“You’re helping me by being a good cushion,” he huffed, his breath fanning warmly across your bare skin and it was almost criminal how endearing he could be without trying.

“Jake.”

He sighed dramatically, shuffling to sit up in front of you, still in his spider suit— the webbed material had become oddly familiar under your fingers and it was with practiced ease that you peeled the suit away from his skin. Your heart was caught in your throat as you revealed planes of tan skin, terrified you’d come across an injury that couldn’t be fixed with pink—patterned plasters and a gentle kiss. Jake reached for your hands, grabbing your wrist and bringing your trembling hands to his mouth, pressing a gentle kiss to your knuckles.

“I’m fine, really— just a couple scratches.”

His reassurances did wonders to comfort you, and you swallowed down the anxiety in your throat, nodding and offering him a small, sleepy sort of smile. You traced the ridges of his collarbones, your fingers dancing over divots and muscles that contracted instinctively under your gentle touch. Jake slumped, relaxing into your assessment of his injuries, and it gave you a rush like no other knowing you were the only person he trusted with this.

“Keroppi or My Melody?”

You asked, a laugh dancing on your lips in the form of an amused smile as you held up his options— a square plaster with Keroppi depicted on the beach, or My Melody sat with a character you didn’t know the name of.

“Keroppi,” Jake murmured after a moment of contemplation, and you averted your attention from his pretty face to focus on peeling the paper backing off the plaster.

There was a cluster of small scratches along his ribs, raw and aggravated, and you frowned— Jake’s thumb reached up to push gently at your frown, and you bit the tip of his thumb playfully. He laughed, and the sound of it was the only plaster needed to soothe your worried heart.

“I can barely even feel ‘em, you don’t need to look so worried.”

“‘s my job to be worried about you, Jake.”

Jake let out a quiet huff, his bottom lip jutting out in a stupidly kissable pout, “it’s not your job, but it’s one of the many reasons why I love you.”

You were grateful to be sat with your back to the lamp, knowing the blush on your cheeks wouldn’t be illuminated.

“I love you too.”

“I know.”

You went through the motions of cleaning the rest of his injuries— thankfully, none of them were more than shallow scratches, and some warm water and a cloth had them mostly sorted. His torso was an array of carefully arranged Hello Kitty plasters, at least twelve pastel coloured, cartoon faces staring up at you with unseeing eyes. The only injury you hadn’t dealt with was his split lip, and Jake frowned when he realised you’d insist on cleaning that too.

“Ynnie, can’t you just kiss that one better?”

He pleaded, looking up at you through his lashes with the puppy—dog eyes that ordinarily would entice you into folding to his whims. You shook your head, placing your palms against his cheeks and squishing gently, forcing his lips into a pout. You leaned forward and kissed him softly, allowing the tension to bleed out of your rigid shoulders once you’d seen for yourself that he was truly okay.

“I can’t kiss it better, but I can kiss you anyway,” you murmured against his lips, pressing another chaste kiss against them before you pulled away, the warm, damp cloth in hand.

You cleaned the small cut as carefully as possibly, and if a minute or so of that time had been spent admiring the slope of his cupids bow or the criminally enticing pink of his lips, that was between you and God.

“Your pyjamas are in the wardrobe,” you prompted him— they were technically yours, but they had become a staple of Jake’s post—fight routine.

He rolled out of your bed still pouting, nearly taking your duvet with him before you tugged it back, hiding a giggle behind your arm. Jake threw his spider suit into the depths of your closet with the internal promise to grab it when he woke up, and suited up instead in fluffy Cookie Monster pyjama bottoms and a shirt he was sure had once been his. When Jake crawled back into your bed, he flopped onto your chest with no regard for your need to breathe.

“If college doesn’t work out, I don’t see why you couldn’t pursue a career as a mattress,” he mumbled, situating his cheek against your chest and ensuring he could feel the steady pound of your heart against his ear, “actually, that’s a terrible idea— I think if you ever let anyone else lay on you like this, I think I’d throw up.”

You let out a huff of laughter, your hands tangling in his hair like they belonged there, your eyes crinkled in amusement. Jake’s weight was familiar, and you relaxed under him, fumbling blindly for the duvet to pull it over both your bodies.

“Not a career path ‘m considering, so you have nothing to worry about,” you whispered against the top of his head, your statement punctuated by an unfairly soft kiss. Jake propped his chin up on your sternum, looking up at you expectantly.

“Goodnight kiss?”

You rolled your eyes in feigned exasperation, and leaned forward enough that your lips met in a sweet kiss, though you were mindful of the split that would take at least a few hours to scab over.

“You’re such a baby.”

“Your baby.”

“Yeah, mine.”

So your boyfriend heeseung was glued to his pc screen, busying himself on his precious game, totally ignoring the fact that you were asking for his cuddles.

His shining forehead was peeking through the small spaces between his bangs that were covering his eyes partly, and you watched the whole view while standing infront of him and leaning against the wall for support.

You could watch him for hours. Heeseung’s beauty was matched with that of art, he was so beautiful that you were convinced he was one of god’s greatest masterpieces. But suddenly, a string of temptation pulls inside your heart and so, you make your way to go and sit on his lap.

Hee was unbothered the whole time, focused on his mission, as he spread his arms momentarily to let you in. This was a usual habit, you crawling on his lap and burying your face in the crook of his neck and dozing off as he played league of legends.

But tonight, you had different plans. You begin by kissing his cheek and brushing your nose with his soft skin, the sensation making him smile. Soon enough, you lift his bangs with your fingers and kiss his forehead the moment you see it from adoration.

He was cute. And there was no doubt about it.

Heeseung freezes the moment you initiate the kiss. Like man’s soul has left his body…😳😵‍💫

He pauses everything immediately and even accidentally presses the wrong key that exits his game and even maybe deletes it

But no regrets, CAUSE

So while you guys were cuddling on your shared bed on a weekend night, you feel the urge to do it when you notice from closeup how handsome he is yet again.

So you were sitting in the chair infront of your dressing table, braiding your hair for the night when your ears suddenly register the noise of the bathroom door opening behind you.

Your eyes immediately follow involuntarily and you notice how your boyfriend, jungwon, came out of the shower. His hair was drenched in water, his defined figure protruding against his thin white tshirt and earrings dangling from one ear.

Your mouth falls half open struck by his barefaced beauty, and your gaze can’t help but follow at the uncommon sight of his forehead peeking through clearly admist his attractive black, wet bangs.

It was a rare sight considering how jungwon was used to wearing his hair down most of the time. Whenever his forehead did show now, you couldn’t help but blush at how good and mature he looked.

Eyeing him mindlessly for a few minutes, you trace how he obliviously sits in the corner of his bed, drying his head with the towel, pushing his bangs upwards more in the process, revealing more of his glassy skin.

Jungwon was beautiful. To put it simply, he was handsome and at the same time, really cute. A man to set your heart on fire and a boy to make it melt simultaneously. And now that you were staring at his resting face with blind admiration, you become suddenly overcome by the urge to go to him and kiss his forehead out of your overwhelming love for him. :’)

You make your way towards him, catching his innocent attention and quickly position yourself in his lap with a sheepish smile. Cupping his cheeks with both your palms, you lean your face closer to his and land a gentle peck on his forehead, closing your eyes for a few seconds and letting your lips linger a little more on his skin than needed.

Jungwon doesn’t even have the time to process what happened until you look into his eyes later, hazily with a lot of love. That’s when he realizes what just happened and INSTANTLY TRIES TO COVER HIS FACE WITH THE TOWEL TO HIDE HIS BLUSHY REACTION! 😳

It turns into a literal TUG OF WAR because he just WON’T LET YOU LOOK at his embarrassed and hella adorable face. >.< 👉🏻👈🏻💘 (bc like you just stabbed his poor heart with an arrow unannounced like that xhdjdndjd come on y/n!!!!😤)

“Wonie!! >~< what’s the matter with you LET ME SEE YOUR FACE!” You yell, pulling the towel with all your might but failing miserably before his strength.

“Shut up….y/n..” he counter argues in a mewling voice. He’s just super shy hehe so he doesn’t know what else to say

After a minute or two, your fight comes to an end when-

You both fall down on the bed, ✨you on top of him and him under you, both your eyes locking romantically in the process. The material falls off his angel face and you see his rosy cheeks and big sparkly eyes that were filled with love and shyness.

So what do you do now?😏😉

You kiss his forehead another time, catching him off guard YET AGAIN.

But this time, you aren’t going untouched ahem ahem.🤭

Cause jungwon grabs you by the waist in a flash and pulls you close to him, draping his arms securely around you. With one hand, he tucks your loose hair strand beneath your ear and brushes your hot cheek with the back of his finger.

For a brief second, you feel like he’s gonna kiss you. But nah, he doesn’t. He just smiles and then laughs before TYING YOU DOWN TO HIM WITH HIS LEGS AND CUDDLING YOU FOR THE REST OF THE NIGHT LIKE A PLUSHIE! >.< <33

But don’t worry, you know what happened when you wake up and taste a cherry lip balm on your lips the next morning. Cause yeah, that lip balm belongs to a certain✨ someone✨ and you knew exactly what he did to you while you were asleep on his bed. 🤫😳💞💋

jungwon recognized the uncomfortable look on your face and the groan of discomfort that left your lips once you had woken up in your shared bed with him.

a look of horror crossed your face, and that's when jungwon immediately knew what the problem was. your period.

having your period was extremely dreadful, especially when you're sharing a bed with your boyfriend. however, jungwon was willing to take on the household chores for you and treat you like a princess time and time again.

jungwon had already left his side of his bed to go to you, his thumb running gentle caresses over the back of your hand. he even knew that getting up was a grueling process.

"take your time," he whispered quietly, gently encouraging you. "i'll take care of everything for you."

you gave him a grateful look, slowly rising from the bed, paling in disgust once you felt your period. you immediately wobbled to the bathroom, grabbing the walls of the hallway to support your weight.

before plopping on the toilet, you scoured through your bathroom cupboards to find a basket full of pads waiting for you. you sighed in relief, grateful that jungwon planned ahead.

grabbing a pad with purple packaging, you hurriedly sat on the toilet, your fingers separating the pad from the purple wrapping paper. you grimaced at your shorts, covered in blood. you discarded them quickly, and put on your pad.

you flushed the toilet and walked slowly to your shared room with jungwon, looking for black sweatpants to wear. you threw on your boyfriend's sweats and went to the kitchen.

you found jungwon cooking breakfast. on the kitchen table were painkillers. you smiled gratefully jungwon's back, although he was unaware of it.

"here's your breakfast y/n," jungwon turned around and gave you a watermelon cantaloupe bowl, which would not only is healthy but also regulates your period and helps you stay hydrated. "make sure you drink a lot of water and take your medicine."

"you're the best won," you gave him a weary smile and pulled him closer to you to give him a kiss on his cheek.

you finished your breakfast hastily and drank plenty of fluids which halted your cramps for awhile. you took your medicine and jungwon allowed you to rest on the couch for the rest of the day with a heating pad.

you were so extremely grateful that jungwon was so attentive and caring for you.

as everyone introduces themselves i notice lesserafim and enhypen standing waiting for their turns to get interviewed, suddenly eunchae sees me and smiles “hi” she whispered and i just smile looking back the rest of the girls

synopsis - jake, being the clumsy guy he is, accidentally follows you from the official enhypen account on twitter. this leads to your life taking a full 180 and having to deal with being in the public eye.

jake laid on the couch while scrolling through twitter, he loved to see engenes posts, especially since they just had their concert in seoul a couple days ago. though one post really caught his eye, a girl who was oh so pretty, she had the brightest smile on her face, and a light blush covering her. jake didn’t know why, but he decided to click onto her profile and scroll through it, seeing a tweet of you showing off your new jake photo cards, the idol couldn’t help but feel his ego boost a bit.

“jaeyun!” heeseung called, as he approached jake’s room. the boy fumbled with his phone for a second, before properly exiting from the app. “what are you up to?” the elder asked, peaking his head from the doorframe. “n-nothing” he spoke, quietly cursing himself for stuttering. heeseung cocked his head in response, obviously noticing the flush of his members face, but he decided to leave him alone for once. “we have to film in an hour, so be ready” he stated, before walking away.

jaeyun sighed in relief, putting his phone to the side to get ready for their schedule.

Sunghoon wasn’t having the greatest birthday of all time. After 21 years of his life he decides he likes this one the least.

It’s weird, he was supposed to be drunk and having fun at Jake’s apartment until the clock hit ungodly hours of the day, but instead it’s 9pm, and he’s more tipsy than he would like to be at a random bench in a park.

It’s not like he was kicked out or anything, but Jake’s apartment had become too stuffy for him and the smell of alcohol overwhelmed him and they had invited way too many people for his liking, so he decided it was best to go on a walk alone. He had no idea how or why he was now sitting on the bench.

Sunghoon has always been a people watcher, he enjoyed seeing others smile over news he had no idea about, or watching someone quickly walk to their destination, creating make-believe stories of where they’re going and why they’re going so fast.

There’s not many people around—scratch that, Sunghoon can’t spot anyone, but his vision is too disoriented to be trusted.

That’s when his eye catches you, strolling down the stone pathway—Wait were those angel wings?

His eyes squint towards you, unable to differentiate if you were wearing a scarf or were an actual angel from heaven, but he saw the grin on your face and figured you could easily pass for one.

You happily plop down on the other side of the bench, eyes scanning the scenery around you.

This immediately sobers him up, and he fixes his posture. Glancing over to him, you give him a smile, asking “What are you doing here so late at night?”

He’s unable to comprehend that you’re talking to him, as if the alcohol had come rushing back to his head and made him unable to think or even say anything to pretty people like you.

He finally finds his voice, replying, “It’s my birthday, and I’ve been out with my friends all day, but I needed some space for a little.”

Gasping at the mention of his birthday, you rummage through your purse, also saying “Why didn’t you say so! I don’t have a gift for you.”

He chuckled, shaking his hands, “You don’t have to give me a gift, we don’t even know each other's name yet, angel girl.” Looking up, you can feel warmth fill your cheeks at the name, quickly snapping out of it to search for something you can do.

“My name’s Y/n, what’s your name, birthday boy?”

Letting out an Ah-hah! You showcase a small lighter proudly in your hands, he mumbles your name to himself a couple of times, forcing it to go to his sober mind so he remembers everything.

You push the lighter, letting a flame fill the metal part, scooting next to him, you gesture for him to blow the fire out.

He smiles, blowing it out in one go, you clap your hands singing the words happy birthday over and over again. Maybe this birthday isn’t so bad.

“Sunghoon.”

“What?” You tilt your head slightly.

“My name, it’s Sunghoon.”

Nodding, you place the match carefully into your bag, “Well, Sunghoon, how does it feel to be—wait how old are you?”

You silently pray that you aren’t talking to anyone over the age of 24, crossing your fingers in your pocket and anxiously wait for his reply.

“I’m 21 today, got my first sip of alcohol!” He jokes.

Mentally letting out a sigh of relief, you make sure he isn’t left curious, “I’m 20! But anyways—how does it feel to be officially 21?”

He takes a breath, unsure where to start.

The truth is he’s terrified of growing old, having more responsibilities than he could ever imagine. Every year he’s inching closer to a time where he’s supposed to be successful, but all he feels is that he’s failed to do anything.

“Can I say something kind of personal?” Sunghoon decides it’s much better to be safe than sorry.

You nod, a soft smile grows on your face, “Tell me anything! I’m here to listen.”

“I feel kind of scared? I don’t think I’m ready for those kinds of responsibilities.”

Feeling bold, you gently take one of his hands, cupping it with your hands. His cold hands contrasts your warms ones, but you don’t mind.

“I think you’re underestimating yourself, Sunghoon. As you grow older—yes you’ll have more responsibilities but it’ll join your routine, then when you find that you have lots of responsibilities you’ll be so used to it that you won’t even notice a thing!”

He nods, taking in your advice word by word, “I guess I never really thought of it that way, thank you, I’ll keep that in mind.”

You hum in reply, and a wave of silence washes over you two.

Turning your face up, you relish at the sight of the sky. Though the city won’t ever let the stars shine, you can still admire the moon, glimmering in the dark sky.

It's almost a full moon, and you swear you’ve never seen a sight prettier.

“The moon is beautiful tonight, isn’t it?” You ask.

Sunghoon’s eyes widen slightly, but you don’t look over at him. He’s not sure that you understand the true meaning of it, considering you just met. So he brushed it off, agreeing with your question.

Though it’s hard to focus on the moon when there's a person right next to him, emulating a warm aura that he can’t help but mistake for something mystical.

You two sit in silence, both admiring the surreal sight ahead of you.

You finally look back at him, warmth filling your cheeks when you catch that he wasn’t even facing the moon the whole time. Looking away, he raises a hand to cover his face, you giggle, looking away just as flustered as him.

A sound of your cell phone rings through your ears, you begrudgingly pick it up, muttering an apology to him before answering the call. He doesn’t eavesdrop but he can tell it’s something important.

He’s proven right when you put the phone down, a frown on your face when you explain, “I gotta go—I’m so sorry! My sister needs urgent help with something, but have an amazing birthday Sunghoon.” You wave goodbye standing up and taking a few steps away.

He grabs your arm before you can go, turning you around so you’ll face him.

“Will I ever see you again?”

You chuckle, opening your bag to pull out a pen and an old napkin. Writing your number, you hand the napkin to him, leaving with the same grin that you had when he first spotted you.

He watches as you walk away, calling back your—what he assumes—sister to address the situation. He slouches back down when you’re out of view, checking the time he’s realized he’s been out for too long, so he races back to Jake’s house.

Walking back in he spots Jake, the boy hastily walks over to him, asking “Bro—where were you? We were looking for you.”

Sunghoon lets out five words, “I just met an angel.”

jay is the type to only let himself do all the work. like cleaning, washing dishes, cooking, and the laundry. he will absolutely not let you do anything of the sort, even if you try to. for example, one time you got up to start washing the dishes after dinner. but he literally sprinted towards the dirty dishes in the sink and started scrubbing. he refuses to let you do any work, because it's one of his ways of showing love.

jake 제이크

jake is the type to talk about you non-stop to his friends. he always brags about how beautiful and kind you are. and all the small details and habits you have. he will absolutely be kicking his feet, giggling, talking to heeseung and sunghoon about how you always pull your sleeve over your hands, creating paw sleeves. "she's just so cute and perfect!" it's to the point where his friends just ignore it or get annoyed at how much he talks about you. but he he can't control it. it's a habit now.

sunghoon 성훈

sunghoon is the type to always be texting you when he isn't with you. he never wants to stop talking to you, so when he isn't with you, he chooses texting or calling or even facetiming. instead of it being annoying, it's actually very cute. he would say things like "schedule is so boring, i'm soo excited to see you soon." or "i miss you soo much baby." and i mean 24/7. half of the time he isn't with you, he's looking down at his phone, texting you.

sunoo 선우

sunoo is the type to always know when you aren't feeling comfortable or happy. he instantly knows when you feel down or not yourself. and he will do anything in his power to fix it. like when you embarrassed yourself in front of other people amd you felt really stupid. he tried to switch the topic of the conversation and told you that you weren't stupid after. or when you got a paper cut, he bandaged it up, gave you a million kisses, and watched your favourite movie. he just knows you too well.

jungwon 정원

jungwon is the type to be shy about pda, but will always, privately, show his affection in hugs, kisses, and cuddles. in public, the most he will do is hold your hand or give you a peck on the cheek. but when your at home or alone with him, he will never stop hugging or kissing you. he's always leaning on you or cudding you. but he especially gets shy when his friends tease him about you. if he's with you, he'll snuggle his head into your shoulder when he's embarrassed or shy. you find it cute how shy he is in public and he always apologizes for it because he feels that he doesn't show enough love in public. so he makes up for it privately.

niki 니키

niki, similar to sunghoon, is the type to always want to be with you, but it's 100% worse. like i mean he's with you at ALL times. he's so clingy to the point where he's your shadow. wherever you go, he goes. it's to the point where you would even need to go to the bathroom, but he also wants to come with you and accompany you. obviously you refuse. but when you open the door to get out, he's standing right there, right in front of the door, all pouty and waiting for you. he's just so cute.

A breakup?

It was probably one of the last things Haerin could have imagined on such a beautiful spring day.

The same morning she had gotten ready as usual, a pretty cute outfit while remaining classic enough not to receive comments from the boys while her hair was done in two braids falling on her shoulders. Without forgetting her usual pair of glasses that she had to wear every day.

The young girl had never really known love, it was true that this was her first relationship with a boy, and more precisely with Park Sunghoon, one of the members of the hockey team. Which was equal to being one of the most popular boys in high school.

And being one of the most popular students meant that the girls were interested in her boyfriend. After all, he had all the qualities for young students to have feelings or simply the desire to be close to him. Which had always made the young man laugh, but not his girlfriend.

Haerin knew nothing about love except what she had seen in her many series, many dramas she had watched over the years. But never, no, never had she expected something so violent, so painful in her chest. This urge to cry had directly invaded her and she had believed that she would never be able to listen to Sunghoon's words.

Park sunghoon was just an asshole. even if she didn't want to admit it to herself, she meant it.

"Listen Haerin I don't even know who told you that stuff but it's completely wrong!" Sunghoon seemed genuinely annoyed by the girl's behavior.

"Completely wrong? Sunghoon every day I hear your name come out in girls' conversations I know they like you. I.. I don't want our relationship to remain hidden any longer.."

"Sweet heart you know why I don't want our relationship to be known to everyone. You risk being insulted or even hated by all the other girls.."

"And if ever one of them came to see you to take my place what would you do?" The girl had tears in her eyes, forcing herself not to cry in front of her boyfriend. "What would you do in this situation Sunghoon tell me."

"What would you think if another girl suddenly appeared in the hallway I would accept her as my girlfriend?"

At the same time footsteps were heard, almost breaking the conversation Kim Chaewon had just appeared in the hallway. Almost like it was all foretold, it was all written that way, and therefore it revealed the truth through the words or rather the lies that Sunghoon could tell from the beginning.

"Sunghoon darling I've been waiting for you since a while ago.. I thought you left right after your training but I ran into Heeseung and he told me that I could have found you here.." Chaewon uttered that without even paying attention to Haerin, just before turning his head towards her. "May I know what you are doing here, and why are you talking with my boyfriend?"

"Y-your boyfriend?"

"Chaewon wait for me outside you want.. I need to tell him a few things and then we can do what you want"

It was in a heavy silence that the young girl had left the two young teenagers without really understanding what could be happening.

Haerin, on the other hand, felt like an idiot. How could she believe the words of the young brunette when this young girl had just arrived in the hallway calling him as her boyfriend? Her heart was starting to hurt her.

She was beginning to understand what had happened.

She didn't even need to hear the words of her "boyfriend" anymore, having already understood everything, she no longer had the strength for anything.

A silence was born in the corridors where they were, as if none of them intended to continue the conversation.

But Haerin needed an answer.

She needed to reassure herself about all this.

And above all she needed to understand who this young girl was for Sunghoon.

Of course she knew Chaewon, she was one of her classmates who was on one of the most popular, but she would never have believed that. She didn't want to believe it. Not believing it until Sunghoon told him the truth.

"Can you explain that to me then Sunghoon? Why did she just call you darling or even boyfriend?" Small tears had just flowed down her cheeks. "Don't tell me it's because of her that you didn't want our relationship to be shown in high school? It's because of her that you didn't want to do anything, right? Who is she Sunghoon?

A sigh left the lips of the young man who unfortunately understood the situation. He couldn't hide anything anymore. It was too late and all because of his real girlfriend who had come down the hall. Sunghoon couldn't lie anymore he had to tell the truth.

"Haerin listen to me.. I know what you think and unfortunately it's true. Chaewon and I have been together for a few months now and I couldn't talk to you to end our relationship.. I.. I didn't want to make you suffer I knew I was your first relationship.. but now I think I have no choice.."

Sunghoon's voice was way too calm for the current situation, how could he say that so calmly when Haerin was in pain? That he was breaking her heart?

"So for months you cheated on me with her?" She couldn't hide her sadness anymore and it could be heard in her broken voice and it could be seen in the tears streaming down her cheeks. "Sunghoon I would have much preferred you to leave me at the right time rather than cheating on me with her and let me know that way. It hurts my heart so much. I don't even want to talk to you or continue this conversation."

Leaving Sunghoon and leaving him alone in the hallway she let all her tears flow, the sounds of her sobs could be heard throughout the hallway.

"Don't even think about coming to see me Sunghoon from now on I don't want to have any contact with you anymore.. stay away from me.."

It was the last sentence she said to Sunghoon and was certainly the last sentence he heard from her when she finally left the hallway.

Running in the corridors she did not even look where she was going, only trying to leave the building to go home and lock herself in her room. Tears continuing to run down her cheeks she couldn't even see where she was going, her vision slowly starting to blur.

His heart ached.

Sunghoon had broken his heart.

She didn't want to hear from him anymore.

His helmet on his ears, his hands in his pockets Heeseung didn't even have to look where he was going, this road he did every day and it's not now that he was going to forget it.

His feet seemed to move on their own.

Getting carried away by his music he closed his eyes from time to time while he seemed to be humming.

At this time most people were present in the corridor so he had a certain freedom from that.

A smile appeared on his lips as he soon arrived at his destination.

The boys' locker rooms weren't far away.

Unfortunately he was blocked by something.

Well, something had hit him.

No, not something but someone.

Not having looked where she was going Haerin had directly come into contact with Heeseung's chest, falling the second after on the buttocks while letting out a cry.

In addition to being crying, something she hated, she had just been seen by one of Sunghoon's friends. Hockey team captain Lee Heeseung.

Oh god this situation was embarrassing.

But still, she couldn't stop crying. Catching Heeseung's gaze as he took off his helmet, she burst into tears, remaining in that position, sitting on the cold hallway floor.

She couldn't stop crying, she almost felt sick to her stomach even more than a few seconds ago.

Heeseung did not even have time to understand that he was directly posed next to the girl he only knew by sight, trying to understand the situation that had occurred before. Even if in reality he had to know it a little since he had seen him with Sunghoon when he had left the locker room earlier in the day.

"Sunghoon.. he's just an idiot.."

The girl's voice had just come through, her voice oddly flat and broken. Heeseung didn't know what to say, unfortunately not having the ability to comfort people in difficult times.

"And why so? Did he do something to you?"

Without any noise, except that of her sobs, she had nodded.

A positive response.

Heeseung could therefore understand that it was his fault that the girl was like that.

"I have the right to know that he did to you?" Noticing that the two teenagers were sitting on the ground he sat up before reaching out his hand to help him up. "Come on, get up and explain the situation to me right after, okay?"

Again in a rather strange silence she accepted and found herself just afterwards with Heeseung in the corridors, explaining to him then the previous situation.

And strangely her tears had finally diminished.

Explaining her situation as she went along to the young man, Haerin didn't know much about Heeseung she couldn't lie to herself but there was one thing she knew about him, he was listening no matter what. So she could confide in him, but she would never have imagined that he would say that to her.

"Sunghoon is just an idiot who doesn't realize what he's got and prefers to play with something else.. his romantic relationships aren't the most innocent."

"What do you mean by that ?" Turning her gaze to him she waited for answers to understand what he wanted to talk about.

"Sunghoon doesn't respect his girlfriends, I think you must have noticed, right?"

She didn't need to answer he knew he was right, Sunghoon doesn't respect girls, especially not his girlfriends.

The two young teenagers continued this discussion as they walked. Heeseung always having to go to the level of the locker rooms, his two there had therefore headed towards this place.

As the discussion progressed, the girl began to learn a lot about the young boy she had considered to be her boyfriend, and thanks to Heeseung she could tell, Sunghoon was just an asshole.

Finally arriving in the locker room Heeseung allowed Haerin to follow him, after all no one was present there at that time so it was not a problem.

This feeling slightly uncomfortable she had therefore followed him and, after he put his bag on the bench right next to the lockers and opened his locker to retrieve what he wanted he turned to the young girl .

"You know, love is not easy."

"I believe you Heeseung.. it was just my first relationship, I don't know anything about love.."

"Nothing at all ?" She nodded her head in the negative, which let a slight smile appear on the young man's lips. "Well if you need advice or things to know I can help you."

Picking up his things so as not to stay in this place, he hastened to leave the room to finally leave high school and be able to return home.

"Love is not easy and has a lot of secrets you know.. it's not something that is known one hundred percent but if I can offer you something that's it. If the love to its secrets I will be ready to show them all to you, to tell you all and to bring them all to life."

Haerin's heart skipped a beat.

How could he say that while remaining calm?

Did he know what he was really saying or was he just joking?

No, looking at him it was not possible, the tone of his voice was way too serious.

So why did he just say that?

"So, what do you think about it?"

Seeing that she still did not answer, and that they had just arrived in front of the school gate, he took out a pen and tore up a piece of paper to write down his number and handed it to her.

"Here, take this and you can tell me your answer in a few days, I'll let you think about it." A soft smile appeared on his lips "But think about it, love has a lot of secrets you know.. and since you don't know anything about it, it's a subject you don't know, I can show you all its secrets. To help you know more about love so that you can finally understand Sunghoon's behavior."

He’s gonna draw cute emojis and *attempt* to draw you two holding hands which almost looks like it’s drawn by a kindergarten student and write down his feelings for you. Perhaps about a memory with you he couldn’t forget about, his thankfulness for your support or just how much his feelings for you have strengthened over time. Jake is gonna place these letters scattered throughout the house for you to find accidentally, e.g one tucked under your pillow, one under your bed side lamp and so on. I took a deep breathe before getting off the school bus. I was greeted with a refreshing wave of cooling air as I start stepping towards the school campus that’s getting closer and bigger as I walk towards it. I got a few stares here and there as I quietly walk, your just new y/n stop overthinking shit. I was getting a bit nervous since the school is now In front of my face. Well here goes nothing.. I took a step than another and soon I’m exactly at the entrance of the school. I looked around to see if there was a reception near it but it seems like it doesn’t. I guess you just have to find it. I sighed knowing I still haven’t gotten use to the campus and I already have to find my way around.

I turned to the left as I start walking down the corridor hoping this path leads towards the reception. I can hear whispers and I can feel stares from the students as I continue my journey down to the far end. Dang have you guys never seen someone new before..? Im too into my thoughts when I accidentally bump into someone’s boarded back, causing me to stumble back and let out a little “ouch”. As I was rubbing my forehead to gain a bit of realization on what just happens, a deep smoothing voice that caught my attention. “Hey are you alright?” oh my god..y/n who the fuck did you bump into..

I looked up and saw a guy with blonde messy hair, pale skin and of course, our school uniform but without his blazer.

“Oh I’m so sorry I didn’t mean that to happen.” I was fucking stuttering as I apologized to such a beautiful human being. I was about to leave but I was cut off by his voice again.

“no is alright! Are you looking for something?” Gosh his voice.. it’s like music to my ears- anyway back to his questions.

“yeah uh I’m looking for the reception” this is so embarrassing. Lord please kill me on the spot.

“oh alright follow me!” I was shocked that he offer to take me to the reception, like why would you want go take someone to the reception after they bumped into you… he doesn’t seem like the person to do so anyways.I was walking behind him as I took a look at my surroundings, trying to ignoring the stares that I’m receiving. After a while we arrive at the reception.

“Hi there! How may I help you today?” The receptionist is really cheerful despite the fact is literally 8 in the morning.

“Hi I’m new and I was wondering if I can have my time table.”

“oh of course! What’s your name sweetheart?”

“y/n y/l/n please.”

“alright just give me a few minutes I’ll grab the stuff you would need.” I thanked her as I standing there with the guy that took me here. It’s a bit awkward because non of us were talking. But suddenly he started to speak.

“btw I’m Nishimura Riki. You can call me Niki. I’m a senior.” I turned my head towards him flashing him a soft smile.

“hi I’m y/n y/l/n. I’m a junior.”

“sooo..I guess your new here. Hope the stares and whispers don’t intimidate you. It would usually dies down after tomorrow.”

“i Hope so too..” i started playing with my fingers since I’m getting a bit uncomfortable and impatient. I guess he felt the tension between us so he started to speak again.

“if you need anything I’ll be at room 5A. And also I’m your first friend here. Hope you don’t mind.” He flashed me a smile before extending his hand out for me to shake.

“probably gonna stick with you for the rest of the year but thank you for taking me here.” He giggled at my statement as I shake his soft pale hands that’s larger than mines.

“Well I don’t mind to be honest is nice to hang around someone new sometimes. Also I got to get going cuz I need to get ready for class but meet me here on the first bell. I’ll take you around and introduce you to my friends. See you around lovely.” He said as I gave him a nod before walking away with a smile on his face. My heart skipped a bit from the given nickname… lovely. Ugh no way your already having a crush on a guy you just met.

After a few seconds, the receptionist came back with my timetable as well as a planner. I thanked her as I found my way around the campus to my first period as quickly as possible before the bell rings.

I may look calm on the outside, but I was repeating our interactions In my mind for the rest of the day. Getting more butterflies each time I think about it.

Often times people always say how ‘ those who pretend they hate each other are actually just in love and don’t know how to show it ‘.

The black haired male staring straight ahead almost as if he was oblivious to the balled up fist that were pounding against his chest close to his heart. Tounge poking the inside of his cheek before his hands came up to wrap around your wrist.

Your eyes slowly moving over to the tall male leaning against the doorway. Arms folded a slight smirk on his face as he locked the door behind him picking up his duffle bag on the floor and walking over to the two people standing in his room.
