All my favorite jojo's bizarre adventure CHARACTERS and why.

Jonathan Joestar. He's my top one. I want him to be my boyfriend. He's a gentle person and very understanding. That's why I like him.

Smokey Brown. He's funny. Devoted. And strong. Why would I not like him?

Kakyoin Noriaki. I can relate to him a lot, I've been through what he's been through in his childhood, just like him I found people who are just like me and accept me for who I am, but unlike him I'm not dead. Yet.

Shigechi, Tbh he's not really my favorite character. I don't have a favorite in part 4.

"not even Koichi?" No. I relate to Shigechi because, 1. He wants MONEY, I want money too. 2. He wants to protect his family and mother, I do too.

Narancia, I'm stupid. He's stupid. He wants to go to school at the same time he's too stupid to be in school. We relate to each other, but he has someone who believes in him. Not me. Not yet.

Emporio, I don't like sports, but for this boy I will.

Diego Brando, he likes weird rocks. I do too. He's a momma's boy. I love my mom but I'm not a momma's girl.

Kei Nijimura, she's hot. Plus, she's the only version of Jotaro that I'd like, and, she's the only Joestar other than Jonathan I like.

Before you guys ask why is it I don't like any of the Joestars other than Jonathan and Kei.

This is because I really don't see anything special in them.

Joseph? Great dude, not my kind of guy, but I'd be friends with him.

Jotaro? I'm a woman. He'd hate me, and I'd hate him too, I'd actually be very petty and start calling him a momma's boy and I'd find myself in a hospital with a broken nose and broken ribs. And I'd report him to the police for it.

Josuke? We won't get along. I love turtles. Not only that I hate his hair. I really hate his hair. I'd be dead if I'm with him.

Giorno? No. I'd see him and my mind would immediately say he's dangerous. My instincts are too high especially in countries I don't live in.

Jolyne? no. Her rookie mistake was leaving witnesses in the crime scene. Plus I wouldn't get along with her. Cause she's in jail and I'm not.

Johnny? Too cocky. Literally. He's all good and all but he's just... Not my type of people to hang with. I'm. Traumatized. And. Scared. Of. Horses.

Gappy? ... Okay 👍 he's decent. But again. I don't know him and if I saw him Robbing places, I'd end our friendship. He's a good guy, he means good. But no sweetie.

"what about other characters?"

Rohan is too much of a narcissist.

Polnareff is too much for me.

Avdol... He's not my favorite but he'd end up annoyed with me because I treat him like he's my dad.

Speedwagon? I don't get the hype. But I love him. Love his character development too.

Erina? Yes. She's amazing but then Again. She and I won't meet eye to eye because I wanna steal her husband. But I can't because Jonathan is a loyal man.

Ceasar? He's not a pancake. He's a pizza. That way it's more Italiano. But he's a womanizer. And I'm scared of him. I don't know why but I was literally afraid of this man when I first met him.

Abbachio? Same with Rohan, but not like Rohan. He's more protective and selfish.

Fugo? He'd yell at me hours on end because of a mistake I made in math,

Mista? No. If I see him with his gun and all of a sudden he yells "SEX PISTOLS!!! 1,!2, 3, 5, 6,7!!!" I'm avoiding him. That or I'd yell at him and ask why he skipped 4.

Bruno? ... His aura just screams bad guy. I also hate his hair. But. Other than that. Same reason with Avdol.

Trish? Cover up. please. I get it's her sense of fashion and I shouldn't judge. But what if it starts raining. Please cover up.

F.F? She's lovely. A bit weird. But understandable.

Ermes? Girl's got anger issues. I'm afraid of her.

Anasui? ... Bad vibes. Unless he's walking in 6-10 inch heels, he's not a drag queen. Cover up.

Weather report? ... No. Bro is 35 and in jail. I'm not risking myself. Nor to anyone actually.

Gyro Zeppeli? ... HE DOESN'T KNOW HYGIENE. HIS TEETH AREN'T GOLD. HE JUST DOESN'T BRUSH HIS TEETH. IF I CAN EFFING SMELL HIS STICKY A$$ FROM MILES AWAY NO WAY IN HELL AM I GOING NEAR HIM.

Hot pants. She's amazing. But no.

Lucy? Idk bro. But she's nice.

Yasuho? ... Sigh... She reminds me of Koichi. Thing is. I'm not really done with SBR.

But I don't like other characters because I have no interest in them nor can I relate to them.

"but Jotaro is like the hottest guy in JJBA!"

Yeah and so is Jonathan.

"but Joseph is-" or "Josuke-" or "Giorno is-" no.

After Jonathan I've never really liked anyone else, Jonathan, smokey, Kakyoin, (I have no favorite in part 4), Narancia, Emporio, Diego, and Kei. These are my favorites.

I'm sorry if I've offended you but I'm just a stupid bi—h that can't keep her mouth shut about her opinion/preference. I respect who you guys like but I too, have favorites.

Edit: sorry I couldn't name all the characters, I don't remember all of them.

P.s. please don't be shocked that my no.1 favorite is actually Jonathan and not Kakyoin.

Now that you finished Stone Ocean i can finally tell you some of my ideas!

Let's start with something simple but that can give a bunch of angst: ✨️time travel✨️

How the time travel happens we can just say is something raleted to the whole reset thing, but WHO is the big question

My first two options were Jolyne and Emporio but never could choose between them, so if you want it can be both :D

How far back they go it's kinda obvious, Jolyne first day in prison

What they are going to change? Will they tell the others about it? If both came back will they know?

Now the rest is up to you :D

Time travel fixits are genuinely one of my favorite au things to do so this is RIGHT UP MY ALLEY

But to add an extra spark of chaos…… what if everyone in the main Stone Ocean Gang gets time travelled EXCEPT Emporio, and none of them realize the others have time travelled either (at least at first)

so all of them have all the knowledge of the entire journey(sans Foof), their learned skills with their own Stands and knowledge of enemy ones, how to escape the prison, what events they need to avoid, everything……. except for how to actually beat Pucci. Hell, they might not even know Pucci had been beaten the first time because none of them would know what Emporio did

Starting off when they first wake up, Jolyne and Hermes would have things mostly the same, just with the benefit of their added skill. They absolutely try befriending each other again, and are so happy that it works not knowing it’s because they’re both looking to rekindle that friendship. Foo ends up spending a couple days/weeks just sitting there, vibing in the swamp formulating as many plans as they can and making as many shrimp as possible to increase their power while they wait for Jolyne and Hermes to show up. Anasui is trying to meet Jolyne earlier (and when Foo does join he’s actually nicer to them because ✨guilt✨)

Weather though…… he’s going to be interesting. Specifically in how we could go about his memory. And sure we could just have it so he remembers his life before because he got his disc back in the old timeline…… but I had a weird possible idea that may or may not work

What if Weather doesn’t have those memories specifically. He knows that he got them back, remembers the unrelenting loathing and hatred, how it was all consuming and filled his mind in a wrathful rage, how Pucci needed to suffer, to die, for what he had done, how that urge was so strong it didn’t matter who was hurt along the way to get that revenge……. but he just can’t remember the memories themself

after all, White Snake doesn't put some kind of mental block over the memories, it physically removes them from that person’s body and soul. And in this time, they’ve still be removed.

and this would probably scare him. What could have possibly happened in his life that he would go that far? What unforgivable act had Pucci done to push him to those limits? That anger, that pure murderous intent, the way it clung to his mind like a fog, not allowing any thought or compassion……. it’s absolutely terrifying and leaves him torn between wanting his memories back so he could understand what drove him to such lengths and wanting to be as far away from his memories as physically possible out of the terror that they’ll drive him to that brink again

(and of course the whole time this is going on, Emporio is just. Sitting there, mildly anxious because Weather and Anasui are acting weird but he doesn’t want to ask because that might be rude)

Jotaro: uhh the only ones I can think of is him with like. his family members or Dio I guess idk I don’t really see people ship him with anyone other than Kakyoin or his wife, so there’s no ship that I see regularly that makes me go “URGGH HATE”

Jolyne: okay please don’t kill me but I don’t really like Anasui so I don’t really like him and Jolyne together sorry 😭

Random headcanon:

Jotaro: Lisa Lisa taught him the cigarette trick that Polnareff and Kakyoin wanted Oingo to do while he was disguised as Jotaro.

Jolyne: this is so not canon compliant but I love the idea that she visited Giorno and friends at some point when she was younger and Polnareff and Mista are the ones that taught her how to flip the bird French and Napoli style GUFHJGFHGDF

General opinion over said character:

Jotaro: okay so. I got into jojo’s when I was about 15-ish and back then I actually really hated him lmao (I thought he was really boring in part 3 and I was annoyed that EOH focuses waaaay too much on him to the detriment of the other jojos). He’s still my least favorite jojo (if judged on debut part only) but he has grown A LOT on me since then, and I ADORE him post part 3.

Jolyne: she’s not my favorite jojo but god I love her. It’s hard for me to put into words but like, when I first read stone ocean years ago, she clicked with me immediately and I think she’s a really enjoyable and honestly very, idk, down to earth character? Like if you asked me which jojo I would want to hang out with it’d probably be her (or Josuke). If part 10 ever becomes a thing, I do hope we get another female jojo, but if we don’t then I’m happy that the female jojo we have is as great as she is.

also anyone that calls her a failure of a protag because she didn’t beat pucci can f*cking shove it.

How the Jojos play animal crossing: new horizons

this is my first time writing for jjba so please bare with me, I might make more in the future beyond head canons. Anyways, hope you enjoy!!

Jonathan loves helping the villagers find any lost items and likes helping Tom Nook (and the twins) turn the island into a nice place to live for everyone. He helps out other players if they are stuck (mostly Speedwagon or his mentor William) on what to do next or short on bells (he saves up and doesn’t buy that many items) Jona likes all the villagers he gets but will be kinda sad when one of them wants to leave; he lets them leave even if it makes him sad. Jona has a special place in his heart for Gonzo, mostly because he reminds him of his father (and refuses to let him leave because of it)

Joseph likes to have villagers with opposite personalities in order to cause drama and makes up little stories to entertain himself (basically The Amanda Files on youtube) but has his favorites, like Cesar (Only because the name reminded him of Caesar) and Alli. His island gets covered in weeds alot and will get cleaned once Caesar visits (he’ll sell most of it for bells or use it as decor for his island) He likes to hit Caesar with a net but gets yelled at thru voice chat because Caesar almost caught a bug he needed for his museum but Joseph scared it off.

Jotaro only plays to either catch fish/sharks or catch up with Kakyoin. He often visits Kak’s island to see what new build he made or if he finally finished his flag design. Jotaro doesn’t touch the natural structure of the island and works around it if he decides to make a nice build (mostly inspired by places from his childhood) He and Kakyoin made a build on each other’s islands. They leave them on their islands and save their islands so they can visit them in the future; they have two saved islands for each of them. Jotaro’s fav villagers are Daisy and Eugene.

Josuke loves making designs for new outfits he wants irl. He definitely used all the design slots for both clothes and other patterns he uses or makes himself. If you pay him enough irl, he’ll help you design your island to what he thinks you’d like or demolish it (like give him your switch and it’ll be done within a few hours). His mom bought him acnh as a present. Okuyasu only recently got a switch with acnh and asks Josuke how to play alot, which he doesn’t mind answering. Josuke’s favorite villager is Freya and likes seeing her in outfits he picks out for her.

Giorno (after becoming the new mafia boss) doesn’t play the game enough and gets sad about it. He’ll take some time off just to play for a day or two in order to relax. Trish convinced him to take those days off. He’s the guy to go to when you need to dig up a bunch of flowers because he doesn’t have the heart to dig them up himself and will give them away for free. Mista has to go to him when he’s low on bells. Giorno can’t decide if Melba or Marcie are his favorites because he likes any that visit him via campsite.

Jolyne (au where she never went to prison and met everyone at a park due to an incident involving Emporio, which I will possibly write about soon) likes playing acnh with her friends when they hang out. She lets Emporio play it whenever he wants to make something on her island, which will usually be a small build he thought she’d like. Her and Ermes visit each other’s islands as often as they can to hang out and collect nook mile points. They use them to buy mystery island tickets and go villager hunting together on call. Jolyne will visit Anasui’s island to do trades with him and he still flirts with her, causing Jolyne to use her net and hit him with it if he tries anything weirder. Her favorite villager is Olive since she reminds her of her mother. But her favorite character in the game is C.J. because he reminds her of her dad.

3 favorite moments in canon:

Me realizing that the fucking "To be continued" is from JoJo's. It was my favorite meme on vine but I had no idea where it was from until I watched JoJo's.

I think about Tequila Joseph every day and I thank the video games (I know one of the games has it anyway) for letting there be a Caesar, Jotaro, and Lisa Lisa reaction.

I loved Stone Ocean's ending, ngl. It was just beautifully bittersweet (I wish Emporio a happy "get therapy"). Also I cried when I heard Roundabout begin playing and then seeing the previous JoJo's.

3 favorite headcanons:

Not really a headcanon, but Everyone Lives/Nobody Dies is a tag I look for anytime I'm going through Ao3 for this fucking fandom.

Kakyoin playing video games with Josuke is a headcanon that I die with. Kakyoin would be such a good uncle-nephew (the family tree of JoJo's is wild, thanks Joseph) to Josuke.

I wish there was more invisible baby stand stuff cause I just know that Jolyne would've been a kickass older sister/cousin to that child when they grew up. She's a delinquent like her great grandfather and great uncle, but she'd be an amazing older sibling figure to baby stand.

3 least favorite things about it:

Trying to read the manga (reading all manga is difficult for me, ngl). There's moments that I've enjoyed very much, but when you only have shades of gray, black, and white, I very much have no idea what the fuck is going on in any fight scene

Koichi/Yukako. I mean, the girl kidnapped him, tortured him, was full on yandere but then they ended up in an actual relationship later?? I get that people change, but she kidnapped and tortured him just to make him get good grades

The amount of therapy every tiny child character (hell, every character really) in the show needs. Kids and animals just can NOT be happy in JoJo's, huh? Well, besides that one animal Kars saved (but he also killed a cute squirrel for no fucking reason so the universe regained balance I guess)

Finished the Stone Ocean manga! Here’s what I thought:

- Not entirely satisfied with the end of it, but that’s how these things go, and I was far from surprised with how much people talk about the ending without saying that there will be spoilers.

-I knew about the Möbius Strip moment ahead of time, but it was still super cool to see! C-Moon’s power in practice was disgusting, but the gravity concept was really cool!

- Bohemian Rhapsody was my favorite of the new stands in concept, but I found the execution a little hard to keep track of (the way the stand worked was clear, but like, if the person takes the narrative place of the character they like then you expect me to believe the BIG BAD WOLF was a beloved character for Anasui? the WOLF??? Now that i type it out it might be because of the “cutting him up” bit and Anasui’s weird fascination with disassembly but come ON WHO LIKES THE WOLF???) Overall i loved the stand though.

- At some point near the end Jolyne kinda stopped feeling like Jolyne to me. I think it just about lines up with when Jotaro shows up again, which makes sense because a lot of the stuff that makes Jolyne stand out is the confidence and boldness and all the Joestar traits that she shares with her father and having two characters acting that similar would be a bit difficult to execute, but it still was a little disappointing, because her biggest moment was the Möbius Strip thing and,,, helping Emporio get away so he could be the one to finish the fight? It makes sense with the plot, really, but it is a little bit disappointing because I kept thinking “Oh, Jolyne is gonna have a big main character moment against Pucci, right? That’s gonna be just up ahead, right?” and then it just didn’t happen like that. I mean, I’ve seen people say Giorno felt like a side character in his own part (which I couldn’t agree with less tbh) but even Giorno, and every other JoJo of their part, including Jonathan who died doing it, got to face off with the main antagonist in the end, so the two characters who stood up most to Pucci being Anasui and Emporio was a little hollow to me.

- That’s not to say I thought Jolyne was written badly or anything like that, it was just a little disappointing to me that her big fights where she gets to stand on her own and have her main character moment were against smaller villains/inside the Green Dolphin Street Prison, but against Pucci and in the overall plot of things it’s FF, or Jotaro, or she’s just defending herself, or Emporio is the one who gets to end the ripple effect Dio started that has ruined her life since she was a child. I wish she got to be more active in her own part, and even though the original Joestar “curse” ends with her, it doesn’t sit quite right to me that it wasn’t ended by her. Jolyne is punished by fate for being a Joestar, bad things happen to her, she tries to stop those things, but when she gets to the source of the problem, she just dies there. She doesn’t get to stand against it as an individual, she simply dies. When she finally gets to be free of the weight of being a Joestar, it, like most of the other major plot points in Stone Ocean, is just something that is done to her, an action that is executed onto Jolyne.

- I liked Miu Miu’s stand and the Jailhouse Lock arc, I think it’s a really cool stand and in contrast to the issue above, it’s always so nice when Jolyne gets to really end an issue herself. It was really fun to see Gwess again, and all her moments were funny and overall enjoyable. It’s a little bit odd to me how many of the Jolyne “personality” moments that I saw being hyped up as funny before reading Stone Ocean (e.g. spoiling the movie, forgetting her underwear) were just because of Jailhouse Lock and overall unrelated to her main personality, but that’s not a writing thing or anything, just a bit weird in reception.

- Was not big on Erme’s usage post Kiss Of Love And Revenge fight. She was really cool in the Versus fight and her creative stand usage made the fight really interesting and tbh carried it (although putting Jolyne in her mouth was…. interesting?) but besides that it kinda just felt like she took the backseat to an extreme degree, and pretty much constantly since they escaped Green Dolphin Street Prison I was waiting for something to happen with her, and going “man, i miss Ermes, I hope she shows up soon!” and she just didn’t do that like she did back in the prison.

- I think this feeds into my main issue with everything post-breakout, which is not a critique on writing but simply a personal tonal preference: the character’s lives were more or less directionless, in what i believe is an intentional and justified way. It makes a lot of sense writing-wise, due to their circumstances and motivations, but I couldn’t see any of them getting out of prison and having a life after. Even if the ending wasn’t spoiled for me, this would have been one of the biggest indicators that the main cast was eventually going to die, because there would have been nowhere for them to go once Pucci was defeated. With Polnareff, similarly to Ermes, he was willing to die to avenge Sherry, but Avdol and Kakyoin talked him out of it, and he had a goal after, and he was able to choose what to do once their adventure was over. But Ermes had one life goal, and that was to kill Sports Maxx. If she broke out and survived afterwards, she would be wanted forever, and if she waited 8 years to get out she would have to restart her life with no family, nothing to do, and multiple criminal charges including armed robbery. This lack of prospects is similar with Anasui and Jolyne. There are possibilities for what they could do in their lives if they had survived, but none of them were hinted to in the story and there were no signs they would be inclined to do anything in particular post Stone Ocean. In a way, this makes the ultimate ending of Irene and Anakiss a bit kinder, because it removes the influences in their life that made them become that way, but “universe reboots where things are better” has never been a trope that I enjoyed very much, potentially because the better conditions still do not apply to the original versions of the characters, and to them all the suffering they went through really was in vain, because the self that they know did not live to see those conditions. This is a completely fine tone to write and creative choice to make, but for me it comes off a bit too depressing to really enjoy it.

- also Pucci would not have even been an antagonist to the Joestar’s specifically if it wasn’t for Dio introducing him to the Joestar feud, and if Jotaro had just left that diary intact and locked it up or something nothing bad would have happened to Jotaro that led to the ultimate loss that they suffered until Pucci started doing the Green Baby stuff, which they would have been alerted to via the star birthmark and subsequently could have prevented a lot better than they did in canon with coordination and probably stopped completely but it’s not like Jotaro could have predicted Pucci so that’s fate i guess

- It seems like this is the end of the “larger group of friends” JoJo structure that was in SDC, Vento Aureo, and to a lesser degree Stone Ocean for now, which is a shame because i like that set-up more than i do duos/trios but what can be done, it’s not like i’m gonna stop reading the manga and hey, one can hope for part 9 to revert to that arrangement. Tbh this particular one doesn’t really think that that’s gonna happen, but one can hope.

- Overall i think the strongest and most enjoyable parts of Stone Ocean were Savage Garden to Bohemian Rhapsody. I want to be clear that even though i’m talking a lot about the parts i found a bit of a let-down, I did like Stone Ocean pretty well overall!

tl;dr I was slightly underwhelmed by the ending of Stone Ocean, but i’m still excited for the anime adaptation to finish, i’m just looking forward to everything up until the Jailhouse Lock arc ends specifically.

I’m gonna start Steel Ball Run soon, but honestly i’m kinda just gonna read it so i can get to Jojolion haha

JoJo´s bizarre adventure stone ocean´s ending and why pucci didn´t win

I first read the jojo series when i was in 10th grade, i was getting started on manga and even though i knew parts 1-6 and parts 7-8 were completely different timelines/universes i decided to read from parts 1 to 7 to accomodate to arakis drawing and writing style, but undoubtedly the ones i remember the most are parts 5 and 6, maybe because of their recent anime adaptations but i think it is more likeli because giorno and jolyne are my favorite JoJos overall, but what i was surprised about is that there is an astonishing amount of people the actually misunderstood how pucci´s made in heaven works and whink that he actually won at the end of part 6, there is even people that thought "irene"´s universe and steel ball run where the same universe, so i wil go through a brief explanation of what really happened on part´s 6 ending, obviusly, spoilers ahead.

pucci´s plan is to take the universe to an end and to a new beginning, he does have a real strong belief that fate does exist and his past talks with dio only strenghtened that belief, well what does have to do one thing with the other?, pucci ones to make this kind of "big bounce in the universe ending it and creating it again to bring it to the same point in order for souls to know their inevitable faith to accept true happiness.

but how does pucci plan to make this? after evolving his stan white snake into c-mooon and into made in heaven, it´s ability has become acceleration, sound simple right? well it is a bit more complicated than that he accelerates everything except living being on themselves, but they can still get affected by the environment, for instance, the accelerated environment will make a peoples eye liquids/tears to evaporate, and if they are hurt their wound will bleed what it would normally bleed but more quickly, these acceleration also applies to gravity making objexts fall quicker and with mor estrenght, by accelerating time he plans to make something similar to the"big bounce", but there is various catches:

- pucci is immune to any effect of the accelerated environment but can move extremely fast still (i dont say negative effects because of one of the following points)

-time stopping stands just as jotaro´s star platinum: the world have their time-freezing windows tremendously decreased thanks to the accelerated flow of time

-any person that pucci kills during the universe reset will have their souls trapped on a limbo until a new world withouth the effects of made in heaven is created, if pucci dies he stops existing, he does not come back with a matured soul, nor is replaced by a copy soul, he simply stops existing.

having these factors out of the way now comes the explanation of the ending, after pucci killed all of our main protagonist group except for emporio in his room stand and having reseted the universe with "fake souls" for all the main characters pucci killed in the final confrontation of emporio with heavy weather, weather report´s stand, while a second universe reset is taking place, emporio kills pucci, wich removes him from existence, the reset is complete and emporio is the only person who remebers both resets, he appears on the side of a road in this new 3rd universe, and is found with new versions of the main cast, the new jolyne being called irene, but this is the souls of the jolyne who died, just having been brought back from the limbo during the secoind reset where pucci died,, the same for every main character who pucci killed, the twist being their souls have matured thanks to the events of part 6 and both resets, leqading to happier lifes to all of them, irene not being a jojo anymore, thus breaking the joestar curse, now being calle cujoh irene and getting along just fine with her father, unlike the og jolyne, anasui never killed anyone so wasnt sent to prison, hermes was not in prison either, and pucci having never existed in this new and final universe, means probaly weather lived a happy life withouth all the disgrace that he live din his past life.

this said i hope it clarifies a lot of misconceptions i see abour stone ocean and i hope you liked this brief explanation.
